Morning Routine

With the little one waking them up at night they are inevitably a little disoriented.

It's very likely that Raya confused baby formula and coffee for her wife.

(Namaari is a police officer and Raya is a private investigator, sothey sometimes compete on investigations but it isn't uncommon for them to help each other to fight crime, Raya sometimes uses unconventional methods which earns her reprimands from Namaari (but secretly they cover up her misdeeds))

Warriors

I know it's not my most beautiful drawing, unfortunately it had two or three bad lucks which I tried to make up for as best I could. but I found it interesting which is why I decided to finish it and post it.

Namaari and Nur both wear Fang's military clothing showing their respective ranks. (what could be more normal for Fang to spend quality time with family)

Nur is officially part of Heart's army but her status as a princess gives her the privilege of subtly displaying her belonging to Heart. (this was approved in advance by Namaari, head of Fang, who was more than supportive)

Inspirations and explications :

I really tried for Nur to ensure that she is an outfit that is a mixture of Heart and Fang (well I try every time I represent her or even Long, her sibling ) for Namaari just a detail that shows its belonging to heart (the belt buckle, I noticed that only Benja wears it or stripes in the Lorcana cards, and in the concept art the soldiers of Heart (absent in the film) wear the logo on their belt but not the flower like Benja. (I noted that in the film Fang's soldiers have a symbol on their belt buckle, unfortunately I was not able to see it clearly but I deduce that it is one of the shapes that the we see to represent Fang) (since Nur would also be an official member of Fang's army she would also wear this buckle) but when she is not in military uniform she wears the symbol of Fang like her mother. if she has an outfit close to Fang's army but in the colors of Heart it is a derogation and a privilege that she has because she is a princess and which was validated by her mother (head of Fang, and therefore of the army) (Namaari was absolutely not opposed to this, on the contrary). I really studied the patterns on the top of atitaya (which are not the same as the bottom) and those on her headband (which seems to be a sign found among the soldiers of the Kumandra stands) I note that these motifs for Fang's headband are figurative, with alternating bands of abstract geometric motifs.

I told myself that the shoulder pad could be a distinctive sign of a particular regiment like an elite commando

Nur (Rayaari's daughter) is a member of Fang's army, elite commando

The elite commando is distinguished by their shoulder pad. Nur was trained by her mother in sword fighting has a like double blades.Like all Fang soldiers, a member of the army, she's armed with a spear.

Nur wears Namaari's golden belt (the one we see in the movie) but the sword are not her mother's but a birthday gift made especially for her.

She's the only one not to have a striped but spotted serlot.

I spent all my afternoon and evening drawing. I'm tired and a little proud of myself, I admit it...

Princess Nur

Story :

Origins:

Nur is from a small village south of Fang, built in the first wave of migration after the victory against the druun. These first experimental colonies were not all successes as composed among other of the poorest people of Fang, who was looking for space to feed, grow and get rich. However the important work of clearing cultivation land and adapt to terrain and climates have slowed essort some colonies.

These remote areas and border are often the cause of interbreeding whose children are sometimes considered renegades by the most concervatrices people.

Nur was passed between her 7 and 12 months in a small orphanage modest subsidized by the city of Fang and royalty, including Namaari is one of godparented.

development :

Nur is a girl with a temperament bright and chaotic recalling that many of Raya. Rather adventuress she enjoys working with her mother, Namaari not remains her model, she admires deeply. Small sensitive girl, it turns out that her military school entrance marks the beginning of her trial. While barely out of mourning for the death of her grandmother she began his military training that the distance from its parent. Creation and inspiration :

The character came to me in the creation of Chapter Green and Red wrote it there's 1yr (and I republished on tumblr).

I saw a fanart undercut Raya, who gave me a first idea of what could be but old Nur.

I looked at first the official concept art for the film. The first design Namaari children enormously pleased me especially in some elements but satisfaient me completely. The representation of characters and Mayaari and Sirinan by Karen_acobs was a revelation to me on his caradesign.

To do this fanart so I included elements designed by Karen_acobs and the official art and inspirations of a picture of my little sister, because both have such sparkling malice, and I sometimes think of my sister when I write, not that has elements of my own story.

For this drawing she is about 15-16 years old. Nur wearing a dhoti pant short version such as Army Fang, as Atitāya, but as Namaari black or dark blue (recalling its link with Heart), the rest resumed army uniform Fang, a shoulder own to her regiment and the same belt that her mother, recalling her special status as a princess. Nur is proud of her accomplishment and membership in this prestigious commando and is often reprimender by her mother for this outfit at festivals and other peaceful gatherings.

Fang's pride : pride of Heart

Nur at 15 years old and Namaari, dressed as a War Chief, gives her and her entire promotion their military insignia after their training for several years at the military school. A most trying training for Nur who at first proves to be not so talented. Added to this is her harassment by her classmates. But her hard work will get the better of her because she ends up valedictorian. Regardless of whether she is first or not, Namaari is moved and extremely proud to graduate her daughter. (obviously her atypical career adds merit to her). Thus, Nur officially becomes a full member of Fang's army. Her love of adventure and her taste for risk as well as her honorable results made her choose to immediately join the elite commando.

Training at Heart

On this version Nur is 18 (like Raya and Namaari in the second part of the film). She is wearing a casual Heart outfit and getting ready for practice. she puts on her military armbands. At every opportunity she can she puts them on to Namaari's chagrin (if it were up to her, she'd be wearing all her insignia). She is very proud to show it given the difficulties she encountered when she was younger to succeed. She wears both Fang and Heart outfits or mixes.

Her favorite color is dark blue. She's not super make-up but she puts some on from time to time. generally she will put on eyeliner, also eye shadow as well as lipstick and varnish and generally in these cases she puts them in red or black. however, she is also turquoise when she is forced to wear a fang-only fang outfit without the slightest attribute of heart.

this idea came to her when he saw her mother Namaar putting on makeup before a meeting between dignitaries put on turquoise so when it hurts she puts on red when she asked her why her mother explained to her that it was both the color of Heart and therefore a way of showing her attachment to her land by marriage but that it was also Raya's favorite color

In my story Nur receives her ring of hair as a gift from Namaari for his 14th birthday, so just after their reconciliation. And she wears it the day she receives her military diploma and since then she hasn't separated from it.

I was inspired by a work of cookiescr who did this for Atziri from Talon, and so she has a hair tie that uses the symbol of claws of the dragon as well as the work of Karen_acobs and the symbols of fang.

So I adapted so that in the case of Nur it's the fang.

Bonus :

Nur was Raya's height when she was 16 and reached her adult height at 18. she is the size of Namaari. Raya is a little tired of being the youngest in her family.

Princet Long

Story :

Origins:

Long is the second child of Namaari and Raya, designed not magically assisted procreation. Long is 4 years apart from Nur. Indeed, Namaari Raya and dreamed to have a second child, and being a lesbian this method had to be considered. Namaari wanted to know the experience of pregnancy after several tests that the news broke, Namaari is sterile and can not bear children. Dragons have explained that their magic could warrior, but in this case Namaari was just biologically different from other women but I was not sick so there was nothing to guerrir and magic and was therefore powerless.

Raya saw her wife gradually become increasingly sad. It felt so nauseated that she went to see the guerrisseurs to know if she could bear a child. Once this has been verified, she asked if the magic dragons could help them have a child, which was confirmed, but it was a child that is born of a real desire to have one of true love. For the rest it was enough to see a filter before having intercourse. However it was a very uncertain magic. Namaari was astonished at the approach of Raya and wanted to be sure she wanted. They did not delay to get to work ... But the months passed and there was still no child. Namaari Raya and began to despair.

Raya a day learning to drive Nur Tuk tuk on the banks of Fang (Namaari without knowing of course). That's when they were attacked. Both are doing but not without difficulty and once the infirmary the guerrisseurs learned to Namaari that Raya and the baby were safe.

Namaari remained many months alongside Raya to be by her side during pregnancy. However, it did conduct an investigation to find those who attempted the life of her family. That's why a little over a month before the pregnancy reaches term Namaari not on a mission with the army to rid herself once and for all the threat, to finally live in peace. It leaves Atitāya look after her wife and daughter during her absence.

Its mission lasts longer than expected and is welcome by panicated Atitaya to announce that Raya is even now about to give birth.. She arrives for the birth of their child, dressed in army chief (see Drawing "Birth." Even exhausted raya notices the New scar on the Namaari's forehead and no shortage of the dispute because it was her promised to have "no scratches." ." During the first name is not requested midwives, Namaari look Raya, and remembers their passion for dragons is so important to her, the fact that he was born of the magic dragons, and it is natural that their son called Namaari Long (dragon) in the language of her wife.

Development

Long is very close to his sister, and two are genuine partners in crimes favorite past time is to give white hair to their mothers. However Nur although very protective of her, she does not hesitate to give corrections when it goes too far. Long love Heart and grandfather Benja, naturally gifted in combat, he prefers diplomacy and believes strongly in dreams Benja and his pacifism. Long is also quite brave, but not as brave as them sister the whole time facing injustice they doesn't hesitate to show generous sweet and attentive and close to do battle with those who commit their insujtices.

Long is generous, kind and sociable sometimes a little naive, but very smart. However, they is dramatic when their appearance is upset. And often when Namaari argument sees that there's been nearly spent in makeup 100jades from heel. And it disaster if they sister has broken their fingernail, because they are people for at least 3 hours of manicures. Raya love ruffle their hair.

Growing up, their appearance Ephebe gives way to a more muscular person taking care of their body to seduce. Nur would not be surprised that Long drag a green plant or their own reflection in a fountain.

Their seductive side and playboy Namaari angry, and Nur is often there to get by.

Creation and inspiration.

After discovering the character of Mayaari by Karen_acobs which greatly inspired me to Nur, the character of Sirinan me strongly attracted to its potential, especially the dynamic duo with his sister. The idea to create and develop a non-binary character I liked a lot. While initially Sirinan was my inspiration in the writing skits involving helped me develop the character that moves away from my inspiration.

To draw young Long , I was partly inspired by Boun.

The drawing represents Long aged about 11-12 years and wears expensive clothes, in Heart colors such as a dark blue sampot and a turquoise belt sometimes mixing with modern Fang style. They wears many gold jewelry and precious stones. They has an earring in their right ear which recalls the symbol of Fang. They wears nail polish and mascarat as well as eyeliner.

Work in progress

I had represented Raya pregnant of Long ( Nur's littel sibling ) and Namaari wearing them at birth but I had never represented the adoption of Nur. I'm going for it.

Here namaari ensures the safety of the pride procession where their daughter and raya will go. The raya top is in the colors of the lesbian flag.
