Strand bei Struppen

Strand bei Struppen In Sachsen im Landkreis Sächsischen Schweiz-Osterzgebirge gelegen, findet man die Siedlung und Ortslage Strand, die zum Ortsteil Weißig (Gemeinde Struppen) gehört. Einwohnerwachstum von Strand Im Jahr 1755 standen 9 Häuser in Strand, im Jahr 1834 waren es schon 60 Einwohner. Der Ort wuchs und so waren es 1871 schon 96 und im Jahr 1890 sogar 103. Der letzte Stand ist 2006 mit 20 Bewohnern. Geschichtlicher Hintergrund Die in der Nähe von Strand gelegene Festung Königstein war etwa Anfang 15. Jahrhunderts böhmisch. Beim Ortsnamen von Strand lässt sich der Namensursprung nicht genau zurückverfolgen, man geht aber davon aus, dass er slawisch bzw. tschechisch ist. Rekonstruktionen zu Folge war der ursprüngliche Name vermutlich „Straniščě“ was vom Wort „strana“ abgeleitet ist. Dies bedeutet Abhang oder Leite. Hier kann man auch das Labská Stráň, also die Elbleiten im Elbsandsteingebirge hinzuziehen, aber auch die Lage unter der „Niederen Kirchleite“ am Strand. Man geht also davon aus, dass der Name Strand „Siedlung am Abhang“ oder „Siedlung am Rande (der Elbe)“ bedeutet. Die Andeutung des deutschen Wortes „Strand“ kam erst später, dabei wurde wohl auch auf das benachbarte Elbufer gedacht. Der Ortsname wurde zuerst als Flurname belegt. Das war im 15. Jahrhundert. Im Jahr 1428 wurde er als die „Strannische wiesenn“ bezeichnet und im Jahr 1466 dann als die „Strenisse Wesse“. Im Jahr 1548 wurde es als „Strainisch wysen“ geschrieben, 1558 wechselte man dann zu „Streinsche Wiese“. Zu Beginn des 17. Jahrhunderts haben hier die Häusler drei Gebäude auf den Wiesen errichtet. Die Anzahl der Häuser wuchs und so gab es im 18. Jahrhundert die Häuserzeile, die man heute immer noch sehen kann. Eine Erwähnung dieser Häuser findet man im Jahr 1755, wo sie als „Strand als Kirchlehne und mit 9 Strandhäusern“ bezeichnet werden. Auch im Jahr 1791 war wohl von ihnen die Rede, da hieß es: „Strandgemeinde b. Königstein“. Strand gehört bis zum heutigem Zeitpunkt zu Königstein. Im Jahr 1764 galt Strand als Amtsdorf. Somit stand es grundherrschaftlich, verwaltungstechnisch und erbgerichtlich direkt dem Amt Pirna unter. Ab 1816 ging es dann an das Amt Pirna linkselbisch über. Beruflich waren die Bewohner von Strand um das Jahr 1830 herum Fischer, Bomätscher und Steinbrecher. Der Damm, der die Elbe verengte und die Elblache Strand abtrennte und somit als Ursache für das stehende Gewässer gilt, wurde von 1839 bis 1842 gebaut. Er stand im Zusammenhang mit der Uferbegradigung, mit der die Schiffbarkeit besser werden sollte. Davor war auf der Höhe von Strand eine kleine Elbinsel, die Heeger gewesen. Oft findet man auf Karten aus der Zeit den Begriff „Schnelle Furth“ oder „Strandfurt“, was wahrscheinlich ein Hinweise auf den ehemaligen Elbübergang an diesem Platz ist. Da man aber zu dem Entschluss kam, dass diese Insel den Abfluss verhindert, wurde sie ausgegraben. Doch trotz dieses Vorgehens, hat das Elbhochwasser im Jahr 1845 den Ort Strand stark geschädigt. Der schmale Streifen zwischen Strand und der Elbe wurde um das Jahr 1850 dafür benutzt, um hier die Bahnlinie zwischen Dresden und Bodenbach zu bauen. Bevor Strand im Jahr 1843 nach Weißig eingemeindet worden ist, hat es zusammen mit Elbe und Hütten eine Landgemeinde gebildet. Im Jahr 1843 war die Parzellenflur von Strand mit einer Größe von 5 Hektar ausgestattet und 1856 hat es zum Gerichtsamt Königstein gehört. 1875 gehörte es dann zu Pirna, der Amtshauptstadt. Nachdem 1900 13 Häuser in Strand gestanden hatte, wurden gegen Ende des 2. Weltkrieges die Hälfte wieder entfernt. Grund dafür war, dass die NS-Machtbar für den Standort des Objekts Schwalbe II die „Niedere Kirchleite“, das ist ein Steinbruch in der Nähe, ausgesucht haben. Im Rahmen dieses Ereignisses im Jahr 1944 mussten KZ-Häftlinge aus unterschiedlichen Lagern, darunter auch dem Kriegsgefangenenlager Sellnitz und dem KZ-Außenlager Königstein 20 Stollen in den Steinbruch hauen. Ziel davon war, eine unterirdische Triebstofffabrik zu bauen, was aber nicht mehr zur Vollendung kam. Außerdem wollte man die Reste von Strand nieder machen. Nach dem 2. Weltkrieg galt Strand als Teil von Weißig und wurde somit 1952 zum Kreis Pirna gezählt. Im Jahr 1973 hat man es dann zu Thürmsdorf gezählt. Nachdem es 1994 zu Struppen eingemeindet wurde, gehört es nun zum Landkreis Sächsische Schweiz. Das „Strandfest“ wird seit dem Jahr 1984 jedes Jahr gefeiert, auch nachdem das Elbhochwasser im Jahr 2002 dem Ort gehörig zugesetzt hat. Geographische Lage Der Ort Strand befindet sich zwischen Rathen und Königstein. Von der Elbe aus findet man den Ort am linken Ufer, wo das enge Durchbruchstal durch die Sächsische Schweiz ist. Der größte Teil von Weißig liegt auf einer Ebenheit und nur dieser wenige Hektar große Teil liegt im Tal.Vom Tal aus zu der Ebenheit geht es nordwestlich des Ortes etwa 100 Meter steil nach oben, wobei diese Steigung an eine Stufe erinnert. Wendet man sich in den Südwesten des Bereichs, so ist hier die Steigung im Bereich des Steinbruchs "Niederer Kirchleite" sogar schon fast senkrecht. In der nächsten Umgebung von Strand findet man den Rauenstein im Nordwesten, den Königstein mit seiner Festung im Süden und die beiden Bärensteine im Westen. Außer diesen Tafelbergen befindet sich auf der anderen Elbseite, also gegenüber von Strand der 415 m hohe Tafelberg, der Lilienstein genannt wird. Wenn man sich auf dem Elbufer von Strand befindet, so kann man hier das Flächennaturdenkmal "Elbacher Weißig-Strand" entdecken. Das 330 Meter lange Teichbiotop hat eine Fläche von 1,2 Hektar und wurde im Jahr 1995 ordentlich saniert. Die Elblache wird dabei von der Elbe mit einem künstlich angelegten Damm getrennt. Die nächsten Orte von Strand sind 2 km nordöstlich Waltersdorf, das zu Bad Schandau gehört und 1,5 km südwestlich Thürmsdorf, das zu Struppen gehört. Weißig ist wohl der Ort, der ganz nah liegt. Sein Ortskern liegt 500 Meter nördlich. Im Süden kann man neben den linkselbisch gelegenen Königsteiner Ortsteilen Elbe, auch Ebenheit und Halbstadt, die rechts der Elbe liegen, finden. Im Nordosten gibt es Flure, die direkt angrenzen. Diese gehören zu Oberrathen, einem Ortsteil von Rathen. Der Ort Strand an sich besteht nur aus einigen Häusern und so haben hier nur Anlieger das Recht, mit einem Auto da hin zu kommen, allerdings liegt der Ort am Elbradweg. Außerdem kann man den Ort auch zu Fuß aus der Richtung Weißig erreichen. Es gibt zwar keine direkte Verbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln bis dahin, es ist aber so, dass die Bahnstrecke Děčín – Dresden -Neustadt hier durch verlegt ist, auf der die S-Bahn Dresden (Linien S1) fährt. Die nächste Haltestelle ist in Rathen, das 2 Kilometer im Norde liegt. Durch die Gleise wird Strand von der Elblache abgetrennt. Sophie Scholl wurde am 9. Mai 1921 geboren. 1932 zog sie mit ihren Eltern und Geschwistern nach Ulm. Überzeugt davon, dass das millionenfache Sterben des Zweiten Weltkriegs nur beendet werden könne, wenn das NS-Unrechtssystem gestürzt wird, schloss sie sich der Widerstandsgruppe „Weiße Rose“ an. 1943 wurde sie mit weiteren Mitstreitern in München zum Tode verurteilt.

Karol Wojtyla wuchs in einem tiefgläubigen Elternhaus auf. Mit neun Jahren verlor er seine Mutter; drei Jahre später starb auch der ältere Bruder Edmund. Um der Deportation zur Zwangsarbeit nach Deutschland zu entgehen, arbeitete er ab 1940 in einem Steinbruch, gleichzeitig studierte er Theologie im Untergrund; sein Leben wurde geprägt von den schrecklichen Erfahrungen der NS-Zeit und später durch die kommunistische Herrschaft. Karol wurde 1946 zum Priester geweiht, er studierte wieder, nun für zwei Jahre in Rom, promovierte 1948 in Rom und im selben Jahr in Krakau über ein moraltheologisches Thema und übernahm dort 1948 seine erste Pfarrstelle. Ab 1953 war er Professor für Moraltheologie, 1958 wurde er zum Bischof von Krakau geweiht 1960 erschien seine Doktorarbeit. 1963 nahm er zeitweise am 2. Vatikanischen Konzil teil, 1964 wurde er zum Erzbischof und 1967 zum Kardinal erhoben.

Am 16. Oktober 1978 wurde er als erster Nicht-Italiener seit 1523 und als erster Pole überhaupt zum Papst gewählt und nahm den Namen Johannes Paul II. an. Im Jahr 1981, am 13. Mai, dem Jahrestag der ersten Erscheinung der Muttergottes in Fatima, wurde er bei einem Attentat auf dem Petersplatz lebensgefährlich verletzt. Seine Rettung schrieb der Papst dem Schutz Marias zu, unter deren Schutz und Führung er sein Leben schon in jungen Jahren gestellt hatte ("Totus tuus" - "Ganz der deine"). Dem türkischen Attentäter Ali Aga verzieh er später. Am 12. Mai 1982, als er zum Dank für seine Rettung eine Wallfahrt nach Fatima unternahm, entging er knapp dem Attentat eines fanatischen Katholiken. Damals wurde berichtet, er sei nicht verletzt worden, doch nach seinem Tod wurde bekannt, dass er eine Verletzung davongetragen, dies aber verborgen hatte; er absolierte sein Reiseprogramm wie vorgesehen.

Johannes Paul II. unternahm in seiner Amtszeit 103 Auslandsreisen und besuchte 130 Staaten, davon drei Mal Deutschland in den Jahren 1980, 1987 und 1996; beim letzten Besuch in Deutschland bekannte er, dass das Verhalten der damaligen katholischen Kirche die Reformation mit verursacht habe. Erstmals im Juni 1979 und zum neunten Mal im Jahr 2002 unternahm Johannes Paul II. Reisen in sein Heimatland Polen; zweifellos hat sein Wirken entscheidend dazu beigetragen, die kommunistische Herrschaft in Polen und im gesamten Ostblock zu beenden. Die gewichtige politische Rolle von Johannes Paul II. zeigt sich auch in der Tatsache, dass 1978, zu Beginn seines Pontifikats, der Heilige Stuhl diplomatische Beziehungen mit 85 Ländern hatte, im Jahr 2005 aber zu 174 Ländern.

Nachdem 1998 erstmals durch die katholische Kirche eine Mitschuld von Christen am Holocoust anerkannt wurde, unternahm Johannes Paul II. anlässlich des Heiligen Jahres 2000 eine Reise ins Heilige Land und betete an der Klagemauer in Jerusalem. 2001 besuchte er das orthodoxe Griechenland, in Damaskus in Syrien besuchte er als erster Papst eine Moschee.

Johannes Paul II. wurde von seinem Nachfolger Benedikt XVI. am 1. Mai 2011 seliggesprochen, am 27. April 2014 ist er durch Papst Franziskus heiliggesprochen worden.

I wake up and groan. My head was pounding and my nose was stuffy. I sigh and stand up slowly before running to the bathroom felling the urge to throw up. I drop to my knees in front of the toilet and throw up last nights pasta. Didn't feel to good coming back up.

I sigh and stand before grabbing a blanket and wrapping it around my shoulders shivering. I walk down to the lab and walk in slowly.

"Hey Y/n"tony says not looking up. He worked on his suit trying to add some new blasters.

I groan in response and he looks up worriedly. I lay my head down on the cool metal table and sign as relief flows me.

Tony walks over and puts a hand on my cheek and winces."Yeah you definitely have a fever"He says. "Bruce can you come check her out?"Tony says and sits me upright,

"Yeah on second."he says and gathers a few things before walking over. "Here." He says and places a thermometer under my tongue.

He waits and it beeps about a minute later. "That's not good,103°." He says and tony sighed. He continued and finished with his stethoscope. "You have a cold, here take these once a day." He say and passes me a bottle of pills.

I groan and take them standing up. I immediately sit back sown and close my eyes as all the blood rushes to my head and i get dizzy. Tony helps me up and walks back to my room.

He opens the door and helps me to my bed laying down on my side. He starts to leave and i reach my hand out. "Don't go". I whisper and tear up slightly. I was always a huge baby when i was sick.

He sighs and walks back over. "What do you need?" He asks i open my arms. He smiles at me and wipes to tears away.

"I need cuddles." I whisper and wrap my arms around his waist. He chuckles and moves them to his neck. He wraps his arms around my waist and lay down.

I giggle and close my eyes falling asleep with him. I fell asleep before him and about two hours later Tony couldn't keep his eyes open. He had tried to leave but he couldn't bear to leave me.

When i woke up i took the pill and leaned back into Tony's arms. He lets out a deep breath and opens hi eyes."Morning." He says in a morning voice. I smile at him.

"It's eleven at night." I say softly and  move to blow my nose away from him. I go and throw it in the a trash can.

"I'll be back." Hey says and kisses my head leaving. I get on my phone and watch videos until he comes back. About and hour later he comes back with a bowl and i smile as he walks over.

"I got Rogers to make you soup." He admits handing me the chicken noodle. I smile at him and he helps me ear it."I feel better already." I whisper and eat about half before leaning back and turning on the tv.

We watched a few movies and the entire 10 seasons of friends wipe i was sick. I fell asleep on the last episode of season three on the first night. Tony left to do some work after he was sure i was asleep.

When i woke up i looker around confused on where i was and then i realized i was in my room. Except Tony was gone. "Jarvis can you get Tony down here?" I ask."Of course."

He says and in a few minutes Tony walked. He walked over and cuddled me immediately. I smiled and giggle slightly and he turns on season four of friends happily.

About three days later i was finally healthy again. I had hardly eaten anything other than soup, medicine,  gatorade and water. I smile and climb out of bed feeling healthy and strong again. I open a window to let in fresh air and the bad air out. I take a deep breath happily and go to Tony."I'm better!" I announce walking in.

I go to kiss him and he backs away. "I'll kiss you when you're twenty four hours healthy." He say and i laugh walking out.

A heads-up to anyone who might be interested. I think this will be a powerful and melancholy experience. Tekoälyn sovelluksia – kuvankäsittely ja kuvantunnistus

Tämän viikon aiheena on kuvankäsittely ja -tunnistaminen. Syvennytään mm. kasvojentunnistamisen tuomiin uhkiin ja mahdollisuuksiin. Raapaistaan lisäksi pintaa kuvankäsittelyn ja ns. Deep fake teknologiaan.

Kasvojentunnistus alkaa näkyä jo jokapäiväisessä elämässä. Yksinkertaisin esimerkki ovat uudet älypuhelimet, joiden tunnistusteknologia on siirtynyt sormenjälkitunnistuksesta kasvojen tunnistamiseen. Riittää, että nostat puhelimesi kasvojen eteen ja puhelin aukeaa automaattisesti tunnistaessaan sinut. Tämän lisäksi puhelimen sovellukset osaavat muokata tunnistettuja kasvoja esimerkiksi lisäämällä kuviin aurinkolaseja vai vaikkapa päähineitä. Tämä kaikki tekee käyttökokemuksesta helpompaa ja hauskempaa, mutta kasvojentunnistuksessa, niin kuin monessa muussakin digitaalisessa teknologiassa ovat omat varjopuolensa, joihin palataan myöhemmin.

Hyöty

Mielestäni, paras sauma hyödyntää kasvojentunnistusta on myymälöillä. Amazon on mennyt esimerkiksi jo niin pitkälle, ettei kaupassa tarvitse olla esimerkiksi myyjää ollenkaan. Astut AmazonGo-kauppaan sisään mobiilisovelluksen avulla, jonka jälkeen eri kamerat ja sensorit seuraavat liikkeitäsi ja lisäävät tuotteita automaattisesti ostoskoriin sitä mukaan, kuin keräät niitä kaupan hyllyltä. Kauppareissun päätteeksi voit vain kävellä ulos veloituksen tapahtuessa Amazonin sovelluksen kautta. Teknologia säästää yritykselle rahaa mm. henkilöstökustannuksissa. Lisäksi ostamisen helppous saattaa johtaa ”ylimääräisten” tuotteiden ottamiseen hyllystä.

Toinen tapa, jolla myymälät voivat hyötyä kasvojentunnistuksesta on kanta-asiakasrekisteri. Kasvoja tunnistava teknologia voi olla esimerkiksi kassalla, jolloin asiakkaan ei tarvitse kantaa mukanaan kymmeniä kanta-asiakaskortteja. Järjestelmä tunnistaisi asiakkaan kasvot, jolloin asioiminen olisi paljon sujuvampaa. Pidemmälle vietynä kamerat voisivat sijaita kaupan ulkopuolella. Tällöin kamerat tunnistavat kaupan ohi kävelevät ihmiset ja voivat lähettää heille kohdennettuja tarjouksia, jotta potentiaaliset asiakkaat eivät kävelisi kaupan ohi.

Mihin teknologia perustuu?

Toimiakseen, teknologia tarvitsee valtavan määrän dataa. Kasvojentunnistuksen onnistumiseksi teknologian on erotettava esimerkiksi sukupuoli ja rotu toisistaan. Mitä enemmän kuvia tunnistamisohjelma saa käyttöönsä, sitä paremmin se kehittyy. Kysymys herääkin siitä, kuka tätä dataa varastoi ja mihin sitä voi käyttää.

Varjopuolet

Kiinassa on tällä hetkellä 176 miljoonaa valvontakameraa ja tämän luvun odotetaan kasvavan 600 miljoonaan parin vuoden sisällä. Määrä on täysin käsittämätön. Kiinassa kasvojen tunnistusta käytetään myymälöiden lisäksi myös esimerkiksi pankissa. Voit nostaa rahaa pankista tai pankkiautomaatista tunnistautumalla kasvojen avulla. Valvontakameroiden laaja verkko auttaa myös tunnistamaan väkijoukosta rikollisia, joka helpottaa poliisien toimintaa.

Kameroiden määrä kuitenkin myös edesauttaa kansalaisten seuraamista. Kiinassa on leikitelty ajatuksella asukkaiden tekojen pisteytyksellä. Ihmiset saisivat enemmän tai vähemmän pisteitä tekemisiensä ja päätöksiensä perusteella, joka kuulostaa pelottavalta Black Mirror jaksolta.

Deep Fake

Deep fake teknologialla voi myös olla isot vaikutukset kasvojentunnistamiseen ja säilöttyyn dataan. Videolla näkyy, kuinka ohjaaja Jordan Peele on muuntanut kasvonsa näyttämään presidentti Obaman kasvoilta. Tällä teknologialla kuka tahansa voi käytännössä esiintyä muuna ihmisenä. Kuvankäsittely voi johtaa väärään uutisointiin tai muihin väärinkäytöksiin.

On pelottava ajatella, kuinka rikollinen voi paeta ”valvovalta silmältä” muuntamalla kasvojansa omalta tietokoneeltansa. Myös ajatus siitä, että vieras ihminen voi tekeytyä sinuksi digitaalisen kasvojen muuttamisen myötä ja asioida esimerkiksi pankissa väärällä henkilöllisyydellä.
