interesting things from the MV:
there's like a whole twinned-birth thing happening in the story (maybe even a death and rebirth‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️). as soon as we enter ambessa's kind of death-throe visions she is 'born' or materializes naked and somewhat unformed or claylike in what i feel like we later see is the kindred's ?cave?/cavern/plane of existence
but then! the first re-formed version of her that we see is her young self in the desert and dressed all in white and silver and carrying that gold lamb. ime this is mostly notable bc mel wears white (and gold) kind of in direct contrast to noxus's black/grey/red but like. hm. the history of family aesthetics that seems to suggest more than just 'i'm rejecting noxus'.
but also when ambessa fights/learns from pantheon, she has given up the white. now she's in all gold and black. it's neat to me that the lamb is gold and then ambessa's armor is gold. in the lore, the kindred are embodied by the lamb and the wolf w the wolf representing violent deaths and the lamb promising a gentle end to life. i could be reading too much into it but i think its cool that ambessa's armor matches the color/material of the lamb she was carrying in the desert. she herself chooses the wolf and war but the lamb is what protects her.
also her like self actualization in the video requires her to completely shed said white and presumably sacrifice the life of the lamb or at least what the lamb represents to her in order to take what the kindred and pantheon are offering her. by the end she's only wearing black and gold with the noxian and probably also magical-kindred red literally emblazoned in her skin. but that gold remains!! idk!!! feels relevant to me!!!!
also relevant: it's p clear that actually giving up the lamb is a moment of anguish for her and stepping into her position of power is physically painful given what we're shown in these shots. we all know she's a hardass but you don't get to where you are without killing a younger version of yourself. who doesn't love being perma-fucked-up
also this is less like the actual what the literal imagery is saying but the aspect ratio changes!!! when we are in the grounded reality on the wreckage of the beach it looks like the aspect ratio looks like it's 21:9 maybe? and then in ambessa's near-death visions it looks like it switches to maybe 16:9. not 100% sure but it's a nice touch of like 'hey we are now in Another Part Of Reality'
it's also cool bc of what happens right at the end of the video
the last 2 shots in the 16:9 aspect ratio are of ambessa herself in her gold mask that by virtue of the lighting/color choices actually doesn't really look gold at all. she looks startled or surprised for a second despite having embraced whatever destiny pantheon and the kindred were offering her. and then the next cut jumps to fetal probably-mel with the exact same color palette except guess what. the gold is back...
....and ambessa wakes up again in 21:9 aspect ratio land and the wolf is gone and she rips the arrow out of her body. hell of an arc fr

𓇻 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗠 ᵃᵐᵇᵉˢˢᵃ ᵐᵉᵈᵃʳᵈᵃ ˣ ᵍⁿ ʳᵉᵃᵈᵉʳ
Spin off/continuation of: Jealous Conscience
𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙮 ;; Short fic. Romantic/Established Relationship. Ambessa is not a jealous woman. She knows where your loyalty lies, but she does feel the need to show you belong to her. 𝘼/𝙉 ;; Her being jealous? Of course I HAD to write more about it.
11.27.24 Masterlist
The room was lavish, a mixture of Piltover and Noxian pride. Silk drapes fluttered lightly in the breeze, and the golden light of dusk poured in through tall windows, casting everything in hues of gold and amber.
You stood before a large mirror, adjusting the heavy necklace Ambessa had placed around your neck earlier. Its gold links were thick, crafted with unmistakable Noxian artistry, and the emblem of her house gleamed at its center.
It was impossible to ignore the weight of it—both the physical heft and the meaning behind it.
“You’re fidgeting,” came her voice, rich and commanding, as she stepped into the room. You saw her appear behind you in the mirror.
Ambessa Medarda, clad in her usual armor of confidence and finely tailored military ornaments, strode toward you.
The room seemed to shrink under her presence, the air thickening with her energy. She moved with the precision of a general and the allure of someone who knew what kind of authority they wielded.
“I’m not used to this,” you admitted, meeting her gaze through the mirror. “It’s… heavy.” Your fingers lightly graced the gold, as if worried they'd break under fragile touch.
Her lips quirked into a knowing smile as she approached, standing behind you. Her hands, calloused from years of wielding blades and commanding armies, came to rest on your shoulders. Despite their roughness, her touch was oddly gentle.
“It’s meant to be,” she said. “Gold has weight, as does loyalty.”
Her eyes flicked to the necklace, her reflection towering over yours. Her fingers brushed the chain lightly, almost possessively, before sliding down to your collarbone.
“I don’t expect you to wear it lightly. I expect you to wear it proudly,” she added, her voice dropping to a near growl.
You turned to face her, tilting your head slightly. “You know I’m loyal to you, Ambessa. You don’t have to… cover me like this.”
Her laugh was low and rumbling, filling the room. “Oh, but I do.” She took a step closer, her hand trailing from your collarbone to your waist, where she tugged at the edge of the crimson cape draped around your shoulders. “It’s not about need. It’s about choice. My choice to show everyone exactly who you belong to.”
The cape was unmistakable—Noxian red, heavy with embroidered patterns that mimicked the war banners of her homeland. It was hers, and by wearing it, you became an extension of her power. Her territory. Her pride.
“You don’t strike me as a jealous woman,” you teased, a small smile playing on your lips.
“I’m not,” she countered quickly, her eyes narrowing slightly. “I know where your loyalty lies. You’ve proven it time and again.” She leaned in, her breath warm against your ear as she whispered, “But that doesn’t mean I won’t remind the world of it.”
Her words sent a shiver down your spine, and your pulse quickened. She was right—Ambessa Medarda didn’t need to be jealous. She was a force of nature, a woman who took what she wanted and made it her own. Her confidence was unshakable, her authority absolute. But her need to mark you wasn’t about insecurity. It was about dominance.
She pulled back slightly, her hand slipping under your chin to tilt your face upward, forcing you to meet her gaze. “Does it bother you?” she asked, her tone softer now, almost teasing. “Being draped in my gold, my colors, my signatures?”
You hesitated, though not because you were unsure. Rather, you wanted to savor the moment—the way her eyes studied you, the way her touch lingered, the way her presence filled every inch of the room.
“No,” you said finally, your voice steady. “It doesn’t bother me.”
“Good,” she said simply. Her thumb brushed against your jawline before she stepped back, her expression unreadable for a moment. Then, as if satisfied, she turned toward the small table near the window.
From it, she picked up a small vial of perfume. You recognized the scent immediately—spiced leather and sandalwood, a fragrance that clung to her skin like a second armor. She uncapped it, dabbing a small amount onto her fingers before stepping close to you again.
“Hold still,” she ordered, her voice a command and a promise.
You obeyed, standing motionless as she pressed the perfume into your pulse points—your wrists, your neck, just behind your ears. The scent enveloped you, unmistakably hers. It was a mark more intimate than the gold or the cape, one that would cling to you long after she was gone.
“There,” she said, her lips curving into a satisfied smirk. “Now, no one will question who you belong to.”
You raised an eyebrow, a playful challenge in your expression. “And what if I wanted to mark you?”
Ambessa chuckled, a deep, resonant sound. “You already have,” she said, her voice softer now. “But the difference is, I wear your mark here.” She tapped two fingers against her chest, just over her heart,

Machine Herald Armor Theory
Though I know that the events that have unfolded and will unfold are no doubt going to lead to Viktor's glorious revolution and result in the Machine Herald we know today from League of Legends, I was still wondering how Viktor could evolve from a lithe man with purple 'organic machinery' for skin could become a huge, armored man strapped with weapons and then I considered that, given Singed is working with Ambessa now, she could provide the new Viktor with Noxian style armor and weapons. The steel and golds perhaps being in a similar vein to their soldiers' armor.

I keep seeing a theory go around that says Mel was pregnant by the finale. I'm not too sure if that's true or not, but Mel had to have a baby... it'd be Rell.
Why do I think it works?
1. In League Rell's mother was heir to Noxian noble house that fell out of power. Currently, House Medarda's in trouble with someone even more powerful than them (probably Swain).
2. Rell's a ferromancer, a mage that manipulates metal and makes armor (usually with Iron) and constructs with it. Mel's probably a magic user, and the golden armor embedded into her skin is similar to the one Rell wears. (Like Gaara and Rasa)
3. Rell is a champion explicitly stated to be half-black, while Mel is black and is currently with a nonblack partner.
4. Rell and Ambessa wear their hair in a similar fashion (a bit weak), and some concept art with Ambessa makes her look blonde. So maybe they both like to dye their hair blonde.
5. The Medarda crest is a great golden piercing sword, while Rell uses a great golden piercing lance.
6. Mel, Rell, they rhyme. Sometimes, things are so dumb they have to be true.
7. Just another great opportunity for mother daughter Medarda pain, because in Rell's story, her mother projected incredibly high expectations onto Rell to bring back the family's prominence. And wouldn't it be an absolute nightmare to see Mel make the same mistakes as Ambessa, but slightly different!
Side note: I recognize Rell has a whole backstory with the Black Rose that makes her mom a worse person than Mel could be. But Arcane has largely altered the origins, ages, and relationships of majority of it's cast including, Caitlyn, Warwick, Ekko, Viktor, Jayce, and given Singed an entire daughter through Orianna. So why not make Rell a Medarda? Rell would still have a mother-daughter relationship that's fraught in a new way, but still tinged with the loss of generational wealth and high expectations. Plus there's always a new reason to hate Noxus.
Enjoy a pouty Rell!

It's crazy how cringe Arcane S2 Viktor is. He's a Machine Herald without the "machine". It's just like calling Mordekaiser as the "Iron Revenant", and taking away the "revenant". It makes no sense at all, and destroys the whole character. It's like making Jhin with his face visible, when everything that makes Jhin himself is the anonymity of his face.
Suffice to say, I'm disappointed, and if they choose to make Arcane Viktor as the in-game one with the VGU & Rework, I'll quit playing Viktor. I don't want to play as another corrupt mage like Brand or Xerath. I want to play as a cyborg man from Zaun. Closest we have is Urgot, but even then, he's not a ranged character. Camille? Again, close range character, and from Piltover. And they're not quite the same as Viktor, who is fully set on prosthetics, and helping people, and being a scientist who builds golems.
It's like Viktor will become a completely different character, and I'll continue to prefer his current LoR version as the in-game canon since I love that version of him right now. Welp, guess the only place where we can play as his original version will be LoR. Such a shame.
The whole plotline of "Piltover-Zaun becoming one against Viktor's and Noxus' armies" makes me cringe so hard, you have no idea. Weren't we supposed to have an animation series about Piltover and Zaun? When did it become about "Noxus vs Piltover and Zaun"? But I liked Jayce. He's become Giga Chad, basically. Sure, doesn't fit his S1 character, but which character stayed loyal to their S1 versions? I didn't like S1 too because it didn't set up the base for Viktor becoming the Machine Herald at all (not into robotics, no comment on human emotions, etc.), or for Jayce to be an arrogant guy who's very hard to work with. No, instead we had their "better" versions. It makes me so angry. 😭 I'm not even starting with what kind of abomination they've turned WW into. He's supposed to talk. Not act like an animal %90 of the time and just speak one word the whole season.
Swain crows and Mel allying with LeBlanc was cool, ngl. Doesn't make a lot of sense as to why Swain doesn't move a finger to stop Ambessa and her army whatsoever, but whatever. Also what was the "subtle foreshadowing" they did on the last episode? Geez.
Ambessa fighting scene is literally what happens in every movie: the guys who are shooting all the time suddenly stop and let the main character(s) kill them. What a classic.
Betrayal wasn't expected but didn't surprise me.
Viktor model is just outright cringe. Mask looks ridiculous. Hair looks ridiculous. Cane? A whole another level of ridiculous. Voice not at all Machine Herald's. Human face still visible under Reddit Upvote button, disgusting. Halo of runes(?) behind his head, forced Biblical stuff. Has magical husk slaves like Evelynn in LoR who has the ability to fly and infect, apparently. SUS. He also has gone to the full "people shouldn't have control" mind-set, which I don't appreciate since even the Convergence Comic Viktor at the start was hating the cult, blaming them for twisting his ideology for their own sick beliefs. His third arm just looks like a horrid monster from S.O.M.A. game, but in a really bad way. Also wow, Viktor now apparently has the power to telekinesis.
Wow, apparently Caitlyn is such a powerful and lucky(!) character that she can fight while being stabbed by a dagger. Wow. Not plot-armor at all.
I appreciated how Ambessa's men literally do nothing to help their commander, which should have happened since Noxians use any and all means necessary to win. They used Singed's chemical weapons during the invasion of Ionia. Guess they forgot about their own principle: "Guile" 💀
WW can teleport now?! Wtf. Also impenetrable skin. They're really going for that "Shuriman Ascended WW", huh? Everyone can fly now, apparently.
Wow, galactic god Viktor. So cringe. Old Viktor. Viktor paradox. How worse could it have been?
Aaand, "happy" ending because why not. 💀
Jinx using herself as a bullet? Now that's a first. Was Jinx's death supposed to be sad? Sorry, I was cringing over every other thing wrong with the act that I couldn't find it in myself to feel bad.
What I didn't understand is how did Orinna came to be??? Hello??? Can we get an explanation please??? Because she's not the Orianna we know at all.
NOOO THEY'LL DESTROY NOXUS NEXT!!! NOOOOO 😭😭😭
^^^ it's over.
Orianna got injected with Viktor's and Warwick's blood I guess, so now she has 3 dads!

Me when women--
AMBESSA MEDARDA donning her Noxian war armor, wearing a golden mask that symbolizes a lioness.
Pride and power and wrath. That is what she is. A lioness, ready to pounce on prey.
One of the strongest shots of the new teaser trailer for Arcane season 2 by far.

i agree with your theory re: mel’s armor. it’s definitely something that activates when she’s in danger because we see that occur again while she was giving the speech (there’s a similar glow that is reminiscent of the glow in s1 finale). you might be on to something with your idea that it may be suppressing her powers. you mentioned that it could be ambessa protecting mel from herself. i’d like to add to that and suggest that maybe her memories were altered after she was given the armor? this could be one of the many twisted methods ambessa used to protect her daughter.
my mind went to altered memories largely because mel is not the kind of person to be unaware of her skills and limitations. noxians also don’t appear to have the same discomfort with magic that the piltovians have. one would think that mel would be aware and then proceed to hide the armor because of where she lives. but she doesn’t. it’s on full display all the time. if she knew what it was, she would’ve taken great care to hide it and, honestly, i think it would’ve affected her reaction to the second assassination attempt. mel’s reaction to the memorial attack and the kidnapping is one of someone who is unable to defend themselves. at no point does she engage in self-defense (which honestly surprised me, because one would think that a child of ambessa would know how to fight)
going back to my first point, it’s hard to believe mel would have the gold on her body and not know what it is nor what it’s capable of without some sort of alteration to her thoughts. the power within her could be related to kindred, and the black rose might try to "activate" it through some scary means. (maybe mel’s armor was taken from them 👀)
Hello darling! Firstly, if Ambessa ever brainwashed her daughter..... wow. Idk I feel like that's just something you don't come back from. But if so, then perhaps when Mel's magic awakens, she will Remember, and realize what her mother has done.
Way to read my mind!!! I was talking to a friend about the fact I expected Mel to be able to fight and defend herself, especially as a child of Ambessa. I assumed she was trained in the art of killing, but my friend made a good point that perhaps it is her Choice, not to defend herself. Not to use violence like her mother does. Which, is so, is interesting to consider.
I don't think she would have to hide her armor though, if she Knew what it was, because wealthy Piltovans have a lot of gold jewelry and augments, so she could treat it as something of a status symbol and no one would be the wiser.
Something that I found intriguing was that the armor is still on her body. I thought it might be a one time use, but no. After the bombing it was still on her back. Additionally, why did it not activate with the attempt at the memorial, or when the Black Rose took her? *shakes Arcane writers* How does it work???? My hope it that, just like they should Ambessa's schemes, they'll go back and show how Mel and Jayce survived the bombing.
I LOVE the idea of Mel's armor being taken from the Black Rose. It would make sense for them to hunt the magically capable for their own purposes, but then again, Amara was a Black Rose witch, and the armor would have been recognizable to her, right? I'm not sure, but thankfully, we still have two acts left for the writers to give us answers!!!

Caitlyn Kiramman (Color/Character analysis S02 Act 1+2) 1/2
This will be a very long post, and also just part 1 of 2 so settle in we go in!
At the beginning of the season we get to see Cait in her normal outfit and also with the known color scheme:
Blue girl, blue enforcer outfit. So mostly blue. She still had that color composition during her mother's funeral and during the memorial ceremony. Then she uses the Kiramman key (still above) and finds out about the grey and the venitlation system and this is also the beginning of her turning point. Of Caitlyn going down a different path from what she was aiming for in S01. Her mothers death and the attack during the memorial changed her. Cait being in a very instable emotional state, after loosing her mother and her legacy during the memorial sullied by an attack of some Zaunites, her former optimism and hope in people vanishes. Remember in S01 when she met Ekko and Ekko wanting to use the Gemstone to have something to stand agains Piltover, Caitlyn convinces Ekko not to go down that path. The path of violence would not solve this conflict, which has been there for years already.
She still believed in people and that people could change for the better and she pureheartedly also believed in her own convictions. But after all the loss and the continuous violence Caitlyn turns away from these ideals and goes down a different path. She now chooses violence, for stopping this war, but mostly I think for her personal reasons of seeking revenge. After going through the Kiramman archives she gears up, steps up and also shows this visibly, when she announces she's going to Zaun to finally make something happen:
She presents herself like this before the council, and this is the first time we see Caitlyn with a red choker. Her first step into going down the violent path. And it's just the beginning of it all. Cause as we know, moving on, after misusing the ventilation system to hunt down Jinx, the city is in need of new leadership, which is endorsed by Ambessa. Ambessa did her entire master plan shit, to get Caitlyn to take that role (for her as her personal puppet). We also know this means further violence on Caitlyn's path, because Ambessa is all about strength and empowerment over others. We visibly see this with Caitlyn receiving a cloak from Ambessa, which inner fabric is red and the big collar framing Cait's face in red:
With that we enter the vampire Caitlyn era:
We get to see a couple of scenes with her in dim lighting or not natural looking lighting such as in Singed's lab. During the prison investigation scene there's a lot of red light enveloping her. At this point she is deep down this path and also entangled in Ambessas inlfuence. Before moving on I still want to point out one thing that I came across, when it's just Caitlyn, not having to represent the leader of Piltover, a powerful and important person in front of others to command and lead, it's just her. No armor, no uniform, no influence, just her with her thoughts and back to her colors:
In this scene at the beginning of S02E04, she reflects on her actions, but mostly on the fact that Ambessa is still around and that there's so many Noxian soldiers in the city. There's complaints about them and Cait is wondering if that's how it's supposed to be or not. For a brief moment she doubts having Ambessa around much longer is the right way to go, but then Caitlyn comes to the conclusion it's for the best, cause that way not many Enforcers lost their lives and deems it to still be the right path for her (to be the vampire leader) But then she meets Ambessa the next day and we see a disagreement between Cait and Ambessa (also visualized). Caitlyn criticises the violent proceeding of Rictus agains the Zaunites at the checkpoint and therefore also criticising Ambessa's role and influence here. In this scene Caitlyn doesn't wear her cloak and is just in her Enforcer uniform, with her red choker (symbolizing her own decision for violent acting, right after her mother's death and not Ambessas doing):
As we know she continues to go down that path with Ambessa and we later get to see her in a sparring fight with Ambessa. Caitlyn said at the beginning of S02E04 that she learned so much from Ambessa and we see that it's not just limited to leadership and tactics, but also combat skills. Which I think is something Caitlyn only started to improve, cause she was always a marksman (the perfect shot) and in the backlines. While in training under Ambessa's instructions she wears a different outfit:
In my very honest and in my personal opinion, the outfit but also the colors look so off on her. And what in the fire nation is happening? XD I get that when you train under a certain instructor and certain techniques you also have to get all in. In this case she puts on clothes and colors that are alien to Cait, BECAUSE she's training in something she's not used to. Caitlyn was never a close combat fighter, but she now even aquires this skill. The off colors and a very different outfit from what we usually see on her reinforces the feeling of something alien on her and also something being put on her externally. This also takes place at Ambessa's HQ which takes Caitlyn away from the usual places we see her. Meaning she even went into the womb of the monster, entirely being engulfed by Ambessa and her doings in all regards. Later, Caitlyn reunites with Vi and we also see her finally snapping out of it. I like to believe that Vi calling her "Cupcake" gave her push she needed and furthermore understanding why Vi is there in the first place and what she's trying to defend. Caitlyn then decides to take down Ambessa and helps out Vi. So both of them make a plan on how to take Ambessa down and save Vander from being taken.
We now get to this scene, inside Ambessa's tent, where Caitlyn claims she captured Vi and delivers her to Ambessa. As we see (which I also pointed out in another post of mine) the inside of the tent has all red. BUT Caitlyn, still only in her Enforcer uniform, facing Vi and turning her back to Ambessa. And also turning her back to the brighter tones of red in that scene, just focussed on Vi the entire time, until Singed continues with the mission on hand. Only then Cait turns around waits for the order to leave and then leaves. And with that also finally leaving being Ambessa behind, cause she knows Vi is about to take her down. I am really looking forward to Act 3 (I'M ALSO VERY SCARED AND I AM NOT READY), and to see how this continues and if I can do a follow up analysis So I think colors, lighting and scene composition are so vital to the story telling. And it's so pretty! I love the visuals of this show. AND omg I am also so normal about Caitlyn. I love her so much, and aaaah she is so my character type ASDFGHJKL Thanks for reading! There will be a 2nd part, which is about another aspect I thought about and which I want to get out :D Part 2!

Omninoxus, Goddess of the Abyss, the Void Eater
Aliases: Omni, Omninox, the Queen, the Dark Empress, Mother of All Blackholes, World Devourer, Darkness Supreme, Mistress of the Void, the Silence, Diamond of the Abyss, Abysmal Ruler, All Devouring, Death
600 feet tall (with heels)
Omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent
Her eyes hold galaxies, nicknamed the “Twin Galaxies”
Known as the “All Devouring” by her people due to her insatiable appetite, consuming anyone and everything
She absorbs all light due to her dark form
Her eyes, nails, teeth, and aura glow pure white
Created her own subjects, called Noxians (or the Nox), and home planet named “Ateron”, which is double the size of our Jupiter
Omninoxus’ throne and temple/palace is located on the surface of Ateron, perfectly carved out of the largest mountain on the planet. In front of the giant throne is a grand arena for orchestrated performances and gladiator battles are held for the goddess’s entertainment
There is a hexagon-shaped platform near the throne that Omninoxus can lift using her telekinesis, used by people who came to her to have audience with the queen
Nox, or Noxian for singular, are intelligent, good-neutral beings created in Omninoxus’ image, each individual unique in appearance and personality
They live in an advanced society with order and peace, working together to further improve the present for the next generation
The Nox often trade with travellers who are brave enough to venture out into the outer reaches of the multigalaxy
She has a pair of long arms that reach the ground, and a normal length pair
She has a floor-length translucent black veil with two rings of white stars on top, and can disintegrate or change it into a solid black cloak
Based on black holes found in outer space
Callous, affectless, cautious, and arrogant
Due to her extreme reality bending powers, she is able to alter the timeline of events itself, including seeing/traveling to the past, present, and future
But she doesn’t bother changing it unless it directly affects her or her people
She is “younger than time itself”
Her subjects are highly immune to most, if not all, diseases and bacteria throughout all of outer space
Ateron is located beyond the edge of the abyss of space away from potential enemies
The Nox, however, do not live on the surface of the planet, but within it using underground tunnels and cities that are hundreds of miles long; only 25% of Ateron is discovered by its own native inhabitants
Ateron has rich soil and drinkable water, and is rich with a natural metal named “Noxite”, which is highly absorbent and durable—great for armors and weapons
Noxian botanists will study and crossbreed native plant species with foreign ones to create new and better subspecies
The Nox have been using highly durable camouflaged spaceships to travel all over the galaxies, and have built hidden portals on several planets to have easier and faster transportation (which needs DNA samples or “visitor chips”, microchips injected underneath the skin for non-Nox users, to use)
Despite being 600 feet tall, the goddess can make herself much, much, much bigger in order to consume beings larger than her
She is able to produce a physical copy of herself around 5”11 ft tall to walk among mortals in different parts of the galaxy
She actually had a lot of suitors during her lifetime. She ate all of them
She probably would eventually find companionship, but it has to be someone who is special, chosen by fate to alter the course of destiny. Like Anakin Skywalker or Abeloth.
She doesn’t mind the solitary lifestyle; the Nox, whom she views as her children, are all the company that she needs
Finds most diseased mortals to have a “fishy taste”
Most parasites end up disintegrating once they enter her or Noxian bodies
It has been found that the Nox have the ability to “breathe” in space for long periods of time, due to their bodies adapting to the harshness of their spacial and hostile environment
The Nox have been using Cortosis and other durable and absorbent metals along with Noxite for armor, piercing weapons, and building materials
The home planet has a breathable atmosphere created by the native flora
The Nox are omnivores, but most species (including Humans) are not part of their diet
The goddess is not a Force Sensitive user due to being “born” outside of the Force, gaining her powers from the cosmos themselves
However, the Nox can be Force Sensitive users, and have temples and gymnasiums designed for training and meditation
Starweirds avoid spacecrafts and Ateron in general; it is speculated that Omninoxus emits a powerful and petrifying aura that repels most enemies
Omninoxus can be sitting and staying still on her throne for long periods of time, appearing to be asleep or in deep thought
The Nox have a lifespan of 100 to 1,000 years, aging slowly
Before complete death, elder Noxians have their memories and experiences written down to place in an online archive for future generations to read. All knowledge is valuable.
Noxian bodies are great fertilizer, filled with nutrients and minerals for bountiful harvests, but consent from the deceased’s family is required in order to be used
Most industrial, fishing, agricultural, animal husbandry, and forestry jobs are located on the surface of Ateron while mining, business, research, educational, and other miscellaneous jobs are located in the underground cities and communities
Landing platforms and airports are also built on the surface
Ateron has its own army, which is made up of young and strong men and women who have undergone heavy training in the arts of hand-to-hand combat, swordsmanship, weapon handling, strategic planning, and guerrilla warfare. It is highly recommended for soldiers to be single and childfree, and to meditate on their choices before enlisting
Native fauna:
Aterdrogans: Massive serpentine-like space dragons with sleek muscular bodies covered in hard scales and thick skin, harden horns of various sizes and shapes, ten eyes, six limbs with sharp talons, long tails, sharp fangs, large leathery wings, and can breathe hot plasma instead of fire. In ancient texts, Aterdrogans are descendents of Omninoxus herself (who is said to take on the form of a colossal Aterdrogan abomination), created to be Ateron’s natural defense against galactic intruders. These magnificent beasts share the same intelligence as Noxians yet follow their instincts to survive in the wild. They share a special bond with the Nox, finding companionship with their smaller allies, even sometimes willingly train alongside the army. Aterdrogans are apex predators who live in the mountain ranges, where they mate for life and raise hatchlings.
Night Prowlers: Large Pantherinae and Mastiff-like beasts that hunt in the forests of Ateron. Their sleek black fur helps them stay hidden in the shadows during nightfall, with padded paws aiding them in stealth attacks. They leave very little remains of their prey, and larger Night Prowlers are known for devouring small prey whole to conserve energy. Due to their sensitive eyes, Night Prowlers stay away from bright lights and fires. They are hunted by the Nox for their tender meat, sturdy bones, and rich pelt.
Stalker Pythons: Long and thick constructor boas that can grow up to 50 feet long and four feet wide. Their scales can range from tones of green, brown, and on rare occasions, orange. They re found mostly in the tropical and swamp biomes of Ateron. Their infamous characteristic, and the one that makes them so terrifying, is the tendency to stalk their prey from a distance, using their strong sense of smell to track down prey and avoid predators. Unfortunately Stalker Python hide isn’t strong enough to protect itself from strong claws or weapons. They have adapted to avoid Noxian civilization, but go after foreign travelers. There is a harmless and docile subspecies of pythons that have been nicknamed as “Leather boas”, which are bred and raised for their thick skins.
Direboars: Huge wild boars that roam the forests and wetlands of Ateron, and are known to be extremely territorial and aggressive towards anyone and anything, even other direboars. They are muscular and have thick hide that is hard to pierce, but have soft underbellies that are susceptible to traps. Their tusks are very dense and don’t break off as easily. Known omnivores, they will eat anything that is edible, including poisonous flora that causes their saliva to become venomous if ingested or in contact with open wounds. A domesticated subspecies called “Mudboars” are raised for meat.
Singing Peacemakers: Elegant and beautiful birds that resemble hybrids of an eagle and white dove that are found in most forest habitats. Their melodies and sounds resemble the notes of a flute. Peacemakers are named after the calming and peaceful effect one feels when hearing its song. They are beloved by Noxians and are great pets for lonely and miserable souls.
Deathswallows: A mixture of raven, owl, and vulture, these massive birds often eat the remains of carcasses, including bones. Their black and grey feathers are often collected for designer clothing and jewelry. Despite being viewed as bad omens, the Nox don’t hunt deathswallows. These birds are simply the garbage collectors of the animal kingdom.
Abyssal Watchers: Massive aquatic creatures that resemble the hybrid of longer and fatter Liopleurodons and blue whales. Their bumpy skin is dark green to camouflage in the waters of Ateron’s ocean, and are silent hunters that prey on the planet’s more larger aquatic creatures. Thankfully, only few members of this species exist, and all appear to be female. They do have a habit of swallowing research submarines (don’t ask how they are retrieved). Reference 1 2 3

What if Mel took her mothers side as to know what her true plans are? What if Mel "foxed" her way in to know why, who, how, everything? What if Mel doesn't KNOW what she is, or at least what "blessed" blood she has running in her veins, but something happens that leaves her questioning??
What if she didn't even know her gold was actually "armor" and thats when she decided she needed to jab more information?
What would Ambessas reaction be towards this information? If this is a sudden change, will she have doubts? (Probably), will she accept this flip of character? Is she the one that initiated this change after the problems happening finally got to her daughter?
What if Ambessa kept denying telling her the truth for the sake of protecting her, which could lead them to truly part and become enemies? Which means Mel would be further from finding the truth, so instead, she agrees to go back to Noxus with Ambessa, so she could find not only ways to take her mother down (as in break her course of plans set for everything in the timeline) but also to gain knowledge over everything related about THEM (including kino) ??
We don't know if Mel is aware of her abilities or not yet, so if she didn't, is she willing to go that far to know? Would she go to that extent to strengthen herself against her mothers weaknesses? To be fair, thats what Medardas do, do they not?
Im so desperate to know why Mel would wear similar to her mother, which is noxian war attire, we know Mel wants to part ways from her family, or at least part from their ideals and paths, so why would she suddenly change her course of action and head for that road?
I feel like she wouldn't do such a thing for the sake of going back, but has an intention to use it against Ambessa or against an enemy of hers/theirs.
Makes me curious too, as stretchy as this is, did she meet with Kindred??? Was she at a near-death experience like how Ambessa was?
If she's truly going back to Noxus, would she be a dictator like Ambessa?
I still HEAVILY believe that Black Rose/LeBlanc is the main enemy for the Medardas in s2, and we know that she can transform into ANYONE, right? What if that isn't even Mel, but LeBlanc? What if LeBlanc SPOKE to Mel as leverage to get to Ambessa? And Mel being probably vulnerable at that moment, allows herself to follow along?
Or, what if Mel knew about LeBlanc (in the timeline of season 2) , or has an idea of what her intentions are, and manipulates her way through, and kills two birds with one stone? LeBlanc is a master manipulator, but is Mel really that weak?
Mel, from my understanding, is not the type of character to make quick decisions and changes (like Jayce for example/non-neg). She thinks, about the present and the future, but when it comes to her family, the past always lingers in her mind, which is why it takes her so long to decide what to do. She tried endlessly to find a way around violence & war, past memories of such still haunt her, I don't think Mel would want to be a fighter, or one to accept a fight in such way.
That would be the final resort to something with no other solution. But there is always a CATCH to that.
In s1, Mel recommended the creation of hextech weaponry as an act of self defense, a final resort incase something happens, but is that REALLY just for protection against inner attacks? Elora mentioned to Mel that piltover looked vulnerable before that, do you think its ONLY their friends abroad who noticed? And immediately after she'd handed her the letter. Its safe to say Mel wasn't just preparing for Zauns bite, but the bites from outer threats. "I wanted to protect the city from people like you." Yeah, THAT was the catch, a stronger reason.
so if Mel went back to Noxus, or took Ambessas place, or just stood by her side, is it REALLY for her? Or is there some other thing affecting her descisions? Again, I don't think Mel would take off the ring, cover the painting of home with her color, go through this major character arc/development just to go sit in her mothers lap and let her caress her head because "nothing worked". That's genuinely not Mel, neither how it works ESPECIALLY in artistic fiction such as this.
Those things have SO many meanings, them being "erased" feels like poor writing, thats not what arcane does.
Mel is strong, she'd pushed and pushed and pushed so far for her ideals, her hopes and dreams, all of this is what makes her Mel. Even though she'd faced never-ending problems trying to find solutions, she still pushed herself so far. Is she willing to sacrifice herself after reaching such a point? Is the sacrifice worth it in the end? Will it benefit what she wants for her city and people? I don't think that's something she'd do UNLESS there's a catch to it that counters the effects.
To choose the Medardas path feels as if she weakened/gave up herself, shattered like glass, OR, she'd made herself stronger by being weak at the beginning, and gaining strength by the end to bend the rules, to understand the space to shift it. Which is why I don't think its permanent long-lasting decision, it's more of a "let it bleed until it stops, then bandage everything together well" sort of thing.
Mel is going suffer with her weaknesses in s2 like all of them will, that is important, but what really matters is that will she LEARN from her mistakes? Is she going to act upon said weaknesses?
They could quite literally make Mel end the Medarda problem without raising a hand if they wanted, or they could have her suffering in abseloute agony down in the basement (I hope not) 24/7, and there's still a space in between too.
Mel is probably the last heir of the Medarda clan, will she be able to break the cycle? Its all down in her hands, what is she going to do? What is she planning?
I still have so many questions, they never end, they're all ALLOVER the place, I literally can't even think straight, one minute I think of something, the other i think of something else. Its that crazy 😭
Part of me doesn't want to see Mel change, well, at least not a lot. change is very inevitable in the show and even the writers stated that in s2, the characters will be in the dark depths, but seeing the possible change of currents, drifting away from her core which made me love her so much is a little upsetting, but I will forever love her nonetheless, whatever she partakes in the future is for me to follow !!!!
Truth is, im scared, anxious, worried as all hells, all the characters are going through various changes, we already know how viktor is going to change, going against his previous dreams. Him slowly coming to an acceptance with death, only to become something that isn't even close to a living being at all. His dream to help the undercity lead him to do harsh things to them, which is unfortunately the only way he knows to help. Mel, who parallels Viktor, is she ought to fall into the same fate? Or is the parallel going to be opposite of what he has become? If he is going back to Zaun, his homeland, doing all of these things, will she go back to her own? And do something similar? Or will she stay in piltover and continue to pursue the approach of Mercy and peace?
How will this affect her relationship with others? What would Jayce think? Elora? The remaining council? Most of all, Ambessa?
I don't want all of the answers to these questions, but I just hope some of them get answered, I have high hopes for s2, i can't wait to see if anyone's theories turn out correct or close to cannon!

❝ this was actually something that had crossed over his mind many a time — now that he has a swollen coffer of noxian coin to spend in qayavni . in terms of toys — it can mean a plethora of things . sett has a big fascination with restraining his partners & gaining a reaction . be it through fighting or actual intimacy . he treats it like a fight ; essentially — the way you use armor or weapons in battle — you can use toys for that matter in his bedchambers . though some toys can be hit or miss for him personally .
❝ sett does own toys — mostly for himself if there are nights he needs a quick stress relief beyond punching somebody senseless . he will be the first to be upfront about his stamina & vastayan extremities . his toys need to actually satisfy it from time to time — if he can’t expect a partner to .
❝ he uses them on rare nights when the pit isn’t flooded with customers needing to be satisfied & bets needing to be counted . he’s the boss , & generally anything that affects the income of his fighting arena becomes his business . furthermore , I do believe sett prefers to use them on himself — more so a shameful indulgence personally for him . if he’s lucky , he can use them on his partner if given the opportunity — but for the brunt of it , its been himself .
he knows his body best when it comes to bedding .
asked by @demonsfate .
&& what are their kinks? do they have a primary kink? are there any kinks they'd be interested in trying? are there any kinks they don't like or aren't interested in trying?
❝ it’s almost innumerably impossible how much of a freak sett can be . all that pent up energy leaves room for experimentation , he would like to think . i’ve actually been considering some things that i’ve learnt over time from threads or conversations surrounding him in general when it comes to things like this .
❝ going beyond well trodden territory like biting , pinning , or what have you — sett is a sucker for auralism ; growl play ; vocal play ; whatever you call it that stimulates the brain to recognize dirty inclinations . whether it’s through him or somebody else , something about hearing the deep part of somebody resonate through their chest vocally when experiencing pleasure is a high for him . almost like a primal need . this also includes hearing external sounds occurring when sex happens . it pleases his ears greatly .
❝ another would be nipple / breast play . sett thoroughly enjoys it when his pectorals are held or played with . be it through leverage when he’s the one initiating his dominance or his partner is that eager to touch them . it’s actually pretty sore in general for him since he’s so active during the day ; the touching & firm grip others can have on them is appreciated . it doesn’t always stimulate him since it’s both such a sensitive area & constantly plagued with bruises — but when it does , he’s a groaning mess . this would actually be considered a primary kink for him ( also recognizing that he heavily enjoys the feeling of pain & pleasure at once — is he a masochist ? i’m not even sure ) .
❝ orgasm control is definitely another ; while he dislikes the idea of being weighed down to holding back , it does bring enjoyment out of him when he can release — making it stronger when he’s given the permission . it can be him or his partner initiating it , he’s more or less a sucker for being the one doing it or receiving it .
&& do they like being marked? do they like marking their partners?
❝ this feels pretty self explanatory but i’ll answer regardless for the few that are curious . sett absolutely likes & actively endorses both . when it comes to marking , however , there is a little more warnings & things he would want to mend forth before actively doing it .
❝ sett is a man with vastayan ancestral forms . he was born with sharp teeth . & like a beast , he can use his mouth to feel where blood runs hottest for his teeth . it takes him some practiced restraint when it comes to biting his partners , since his teeth can lethally drive into the flesh . he’s extra careful when it comes to marking people on the neck especially . he’s more adapted to the thigh & inner hamstrings to do his marking , since there’s more fat & mass to subdue the pain of his bites / marks .
&& do they like being praised? is there anything specific they like being praised for? do they like praising their partner(s)?
❝ he’d actually picked this affinity for it over time . more & more people just gradually started calling him names that are positive & it’s further pushed when in bed . sett is a very servicey partner & wants to ingrain what he can do into his partners or himself . he adores being praised for what he does .
❝ in terms of specifics , he likes being praised for what he can do & coaxes a reaction . it can range from him using his mouth in the genital area for his partners , using his wide calloused hands to cup the mounds of fat & squeeze firmly , using his claws to fit the shape & drag the body’s definition — regardless , anything he does , please give him praise .
asked by @futureforged .

Sketch of Kayn and Akali, but when they are few years older and he has become the Shadow Assassin. I imagine they will fight the Noxian war and here he is comforting her after a big loss of Ionain life (and trying to stop her from going in to assassinate Swain all alone). I thought to touch up her outfit with more leathers and thicker armor and cover her non-tattooed arm.

Sneak peak of something I'm in the middle of writing for Rhaayn under the cut, it'll be more serious than my other fics and it starts with this flashback(-ish) that I tried to inject a lot of symbolic meaning into:
Within the carnage left at the Epool River, a battered and bruised child laid in the blood-soaked earth amongst countless corpses. The bodies around him ranged from fellow Noxian kids who were slaughtered just as their commanders intended, to Ionian farmers, hunters, even vastaya, who were more than twice the size of the young soldiers. The child wondered if he was the only one left alive after the battle. He wondered if he even was alive at all.
After laying still for what felt like an eternity, too exhausted and scared to move a muscle, the child heard footsteps approach him. He mustered what little strength he had to lift his head up and open his eyes. The sun was a harsh, blinding presence, blocked partially by a shadowy figure looming over him. All he could make out of this figure was metallic armor reflecting the sun’s radiance and piercing red eyes that held an unreadable emotion behind them.
The child tried his damndest to lift the broken sickle in his grasp at the figure, refusing to die after already defying the odds of death days before. Hot tears streamed down his face as he clumsily swung the curved blade at the figure. But it was ready and caught the weapon in its hand, gently setting it down between them, and the figure then lifted its other hand out towards the child. Not knowing what else to do, the child raised his own shaky hand and set it in the palm of the figure’s. As the shadowy figure continued to stare down upon him, it spoke in a gravelly voice that the child somehow recognized was familiar.
“Kayn.”
The figure before the child appeared to morph before his eyes, growing larger as its shoulders sharpened and wide, curved horns grew from its head. The world around them faded into darkness even as the shining sun burned away at the shadows obscuring the figure, revealing rows of metallic fangs on its face and sharp claws wrapped around the small hand in its palm.
But despite the monster before him, the child didn’t feel scared anymore. He held its hand tighter, and the monster spoke once again.
“Kayn.”
“KAYN!”

Cynical
distrustful, self-interested
Everything is fine. Nothing happened. Jinx met her - spoke to her, and it was easy. She didn't feel anything - no overpowering desire of any kind. It's over. She's done with her.
A speck of ash drifts down from the ceiling. Jinx glances up at the aftermath of a brilliant explosion. Flashlight makes the prettiest explosions - delicate and crystalline unlike her chunky, messy creations. And despite its appearances, those transient singularities pack a stinging punch. It's beauty and power in a single perfect package.
Jinx rubs the speck of ash between her fingertips, letting it color her skin. The room isn't pristine anymore. Well damn. Flashlight really knows the best ways to spoil a girl.
She hears them before she sees them. Thunderous footsteps approach her cell before the door slams open. The summoner looks straight at her, blinking once then twice before their brain catches up with their eyes. Then the summoner flinches - back curving, limbs tightening, as if expecting pain.
Pfft. What does she look like? A hand-to-hand fighter? She has the body mass of an anorexic lingerie model. If she punched anyone, she's more likely to bruise herself first.
"You're... still here?"
Jinx slowly looks to the left then to the right before facing the summoner. "Sure looks like it."
"But... the surveillance system... and the door - the door was unlocked! You could've walked out!"
Huh. Jinx blinks. "I guess so."
"... Okay... I'm gonna just..." The summoner scratches their head - forgetting that they're wearing hood. "Do-Don't move. I'll reinstate the sealing array."
Jinx salutes him. "Sir yes sir."
This must be a scrub summoner because the guy turns their back towards her then gets to work. At this rate, they'll be dead by the weekend.
"Since I'm here, " they say, striking up a conversation as if they were colleagues around the water cooler. "They chose you to participate in the upcoming Demacia vs. Noxus match. This means mandatory scrims starting tomorrow.”
"Tch. Putting me to work already? I just got back."
"The Institute is eager to recoup their investment. You're not exactly staying here for free."
Jinx clicks her tongue. The summoner finishes the sealing array. Then with a brisk nod at her, they walk out of the room, locking the door shut. It’s business as usual here in the Institute of War.
As promised, bright and early the very next day, Jinx is hauled out of her cell. They never got around to fixing the lights, so she actually slept through the night. Of course, this was likely the last long rest that she’ll get in these parts. Once she returns from the Rift, her cell will be flawless again. If only they used their powers for good.
So here she is, in the lobby, with an assortment of mooks and morons. This game never fucking changes. She’s sure that when the universe finally collapses into its primal entropic form, there will be ten losers still fighting over Baron Nashor.
It’s a Demacia vs. Noxus match. She finds the usual suspects: big armor dude, hextech tryhard, edgelord wannabe, spineless cuck, and flat-broke simp. It’s not like she’s disappointed by the lineup, as if she was expecting to see someone specific, definitely not. But the Demacian team barely has any burst damage with that team composition. The Noxians will bully them in the laning phase, gain an early gold lead, then take over the match. They should have picked a flashy, long-range mage, in her honest, totally unbiased opinion. It’s just logic.
Biting back a sigh, she turns to join the Noxian team (big armor dude, hextech tryhard, edgelord wannabe, spineless cuck, and flat-broke simp).
“Jinx of Zaun!”
At the sound of her name, Jinx turns around. Garen Crownguard marches up to her until a single step separates them. He stands tall and broad and heavily armored - his sword alone matches Jinx’s size, she can tell because he’s got the sword in his hand. It’s not pointed at her but that’s probably because they’re in a really public space, with dozens of spectators all around them, and the Institute does not allow maiming or killing of other champions when off the Rift. Jinx is sorta an expert on rules because duh! How can she fully destroy something if she doesn’t know where to aim?
"Whatever you have done to my sister, I swear that you shall pay for it, thrice over."
Oh. Oh wow. He’s using the high dialect of Demacia. Only nobles use that and only when they really mean business. Alrighty then.
"Worry not, Garen Crownguard,” Jinx replies, also in the high dialect. “I have not given anything to your sister that she did not beg for."
Garen jolts, clearly unprepared to hear her speak his language. Pfft. Sure, she’s a crazy motherfucker but she can be cultured when she wants to be - when it would be funny. And boy, she’s prepared to laugh.
“Bite your tongue,” Garen snarls, shifting his grip on his sword.
They should be on the rift by now. All the selected champions have arrived, ready to fight. Yet they remain in the lobby, in plain view of everyone with a working set of ears. The Summoners seem to be distracted from their preparations, shamelessly eavesdropping on their conversation. They are not singular in that respect, as the whole lobby watches her and Garen. Good.
Jinx smirks, cocking her hip to the side. "Please tell me not that you are surprised. Surely, you must have known that your sister has such perverse inclinations. After all…” She lets her eyes travel up and down his robust physique. She raises an eyebrow. “...it runs in the family."
[A champion has disconnected.]
During the scheduled scrim between Demacia and its allies versus Noxus and its allies, the champion Jinx of Zaun was the first to die. This would not be so out of place except she suffered her death off the rift, away from its sophisticated resurrection majyyks.
Later, much later - hours later, Jinx wakes up in a hospital bed. She should have never woken up at all. People don't survive after a giant sword cleaves through their torso. But she died within the Institute, which houses many prodigious healers, including the Starchild, Soraka. As such, she is fully healed, bearing not a single scar from her ordeal. She's not even dehydrated, which is truly remarkable considering she gave the lobby a new paint job with her blood.
Garen was summarily suspended from further practice scrims. This ruling is currently in the appeals process by the Demacia party, and they're liable to succeed. Of course, they would. As one of the oldest champions in the Institute and representing one of the most powerful city-states, the golden boy must be excused from all rules and regulations.
Jinx doesn't actually care about all that. No. The real prize is the whispers - the rumours - the gossip slinking from ear to ear, haunting the dinner parties and fireside chats. Everyone knows about Flashlight's little dalliance with Jinx.
And they slop that shit right up. If Garen is the golden boy, then Lux is the immaculate lady. She was virtually untouchable - a de facto favorite of many summoners, an unparalleled genius with high class breeding. And she has soiled herself with such filthy company.
They revel in the scandal. With the increasing scrims between Demacia and Noxus, which the little lady excused herself from participating, she's all alone - without a friend to stand at her side. Naturally, a few smart guys try their luck with the newly defiled Lady Crownguard, and the infirmary gains a half dozen new burn victims. But that's just a bonus.
This is what she asked for. This is what she gets. This is the price to pay for hanging with a jinx.
As the day of the big game approaches, the summoners take a quick break. Heaven forbid these nerds from suffering eye strain while their champions suffer through gristly death after death. At least, these summoners are of higher rank so there's less stupid deaths. But some of them get awfully tilted, shouting out confused orders, which leads to disastrous teamfights. It's a whole thing. The break is very much needed because Jinx was about to blow up her summoner if he mistimed his flash one more time.
As she steps off the summoning platform, she spies Cassiopeia slithering off. She's the current favorite for the mid lane position, with Swain as a close second. Jinx is actually a substitute since Draven insisted on taking the marksman role. But even as a substitute, she is required to practice with her team. They really know the best ways to torture her.
Stretching her arms, she shakes out the fatigue from the latest scrim, then jogs after Cassiopeia. For someone without legs, the lady sure can move, disappearing into a hallway. Jinx follows, ready to call out. But as she steps into the hall, a serpent's tail slams against her, pinning her to the wall.
"Oof, ow. You Nauseous guys are al-ways so intense! Ease up, la-dy! I come in peace!"
"And you will leave in pieces," Cassiopeia hisses. "You've already died a real death this week. Are you so eager for another?"
Despite the tail limiting her movement, Jinx shrugs as best she can. "Listen, you're - you're a big, bad vi-per lady. I'm to-tally into it. So he-ar me out."
Cassieopeia's face twists into a grimace. She drops her tail, releasing Jinx. "What makes you think that I would ever stoop to have a Demacian's sloppy seconds?"
"Wow. You really do spit poison. But no, I'm not talking about that. I could use your help. I'll even pay. It's an honest business proposition."
"You? Honest? Is the world about to end?"
Jinx only smirks, adjusting the strap on her weapons. Cassieopeia's stare briefly stray to Fishbones before she narrows her eyes to needle-thin slits as she glares at Jinx. Suspicion seeds every feature of her expression.
Jinx pushes a little more. "C'mon. It's me, the loose cannon famously known for not playing well with others. And I'm asking for help. Isn't that just so weird?"
Cassieopeia rolls her eyes. "You really are not the subtle sort, are you? Well, it gives you the appearance of candidness, at least." She crosses her arms, eyes mapping every weak point in Jinx's body. Whatever she sees, she seems satisfied by, allowing a coy smile to form. "Let me make one thing very clear, Jinx of Zaun. I am not interested in any trouble that you're peddling. Unlike you, I abide by the rules and I refuse to endanger my family. Is that understood?"
Jinx bares her teeth, every single one. "Perfectly.”
