A/N: Oh my gods, I'm still alive! XD thanks for your request! I hope you still enjoy this story even though it took a really really long time.

Five Hargreeves was a smart and strategic man but he had a soft spot; for his annoying siblings and you. You had started off as partners in the commission and became friends over time. He was the one person you had told about you being aroace - which he could relate to - and he knew about your anxiety. 

You were a great team together that always supported each other. You would help him with his flashbacks and he would help you with your anxiety. 

And that was about to skyrocket right now. You had helped Five to figure out the right equations to get back to his family and then he was finally able to do the jump - of course taking you with him. But apparently something went wrong because when you landed on the other side of the portal you were both in the bodies of your teenager-selves. 

“Fuck, something went wrong”, you heard Five muttering to himself. You were speechless when you looked up from your younger hands to the adults standing in front of you. One of them just asked: “Can you see little Five too?”. Then Five looked up too before his gaze went towards you. You felt like you increasingly couldn’t breathe anymore and looked at Five with wide eyes. 

You heard a noise and only when Five hurried to get up you realized that it came from you. 

„Okay, listen to my voice. Blend out everything else. Breath y/n. Breathe with me, alright?“ 

He blocked most of your view towards the adults who didn‘t know how to react yet. He took your hands in his to help you steady yourself - since one of your comforts was touch - and with some more helpful words and methods you calmed down. 

Five helped you get up then and went to the door while dragging you behind him and almost seemingly ignoring the adults who were then coming back to their senses. 

They followed closely asking what happened or simply repeating his name like they couldn‘t believe that he was right there. 

While walking you spotted your reflection in a mirror on the wall and flinched - you really were in the body of your younger self. 

You reached the kitchen and Five started making sandwiches as well as coffee for him and cocoa for you. 

„What are you doing?“, the tall woman asked. 

„And who is that?“, a guy in full black attire added. 

„We both need sugar to recharge“, he answered while continuing his work. You were just standing there merely happy that you didn‘t go into full panik. 

„And who the fuck is that?!“, the man repeated himself and emphasised it with a gesture towards you. 

„That is y/n. We’re colleagues.“

To others this description might‘ve felt offensive. You knew that in connection to you it meant you were trusted friends. 

„Colleagues?“, the confusion was clear on all their faces. 

Your mind slowly cleared and you started realizing that those people were Five‘s siblings. He had told you quite a lot about them - you were also the only one he had talked to about them. 

„Yes“, his answer had a little sharpness in it and your gaze shot up to him. You knew what that meant. He had pulled you out of your panic, now you started doing your best to prevent him from having a flashback. 

His gaze was already a bit out of focus and his movements slowed down so you hurried to get to him and touched his shoulder carefully. 

„Hey, you‘re not there anymore“, you slowly moved him around to the sink and turned on cold water. While you waited for it to be cold enough you pushed up the sleeves of his now way too big suit. 

Running cold water over his hands and forearms has always been pretty effective to get Five back in his body. You were relieved when he looked at you after a moment and nodded as a thank you. 

You turned off the water and dried both your hands. 

“Everything okay?”, one of his siblings asked with his brows furrowed. “Yes”, you answered while Five brushed it off with a wave of his hand. 

You helped him finish your snacks and stayed close to calm both of you. When you sat down at the table to eat it his siblings started their questions again. 

They had a lot of those and you spent enough time on this table that you leaned on your friend’s shoulder from being tired out. Five put his arm around you to steady your upper body. That way you rested a bit before both of you went to save the world - as the best team you'll ever see.

Fangs of Fortune (ep. 06 - ep. 07)

Uh, not Li Lun, out of all people, making everyone finally question why Zhu Yan actually killed Yichen's brother and all those people years ago. We know he lost control over his malicious energy, but why didn't anyone ask him why it happened? Come on, people, you seem to be so smart))

Well, Wen Xiao seems to be accepting enough to not care about what our gorgeous Demon Lord has done in the past, which is quite refreshing. Ambiguous, morally grey characters need more unconditional love (especially when they're, uh, 34,000 years old? XD). But he doesn't even seem to be so 'grey' at this point - he's doing too many good things right now.

The whole thing with being a 'vessel for malicious energy' is quite intriguing. Was he born like that? Can he actually stop 'the cycle of rebirth'? Why did he 'lose control' after so many years of cultivation? I'm also trying to figure out the timeline - the killings must have happened after he dropped Wen Xiao off at what seemed to be the gates to the demon-hunting bureau. But she wasn't staying there when that stuff happened? Did his demonic self come back there just to wreak havoc or for some other reason? Was Li Lun involved? Mmmm, the plot is deliciously mysterious, I will have to wait to get those answers.

Also, I can't even be angry with Li Lun at this point, although he's playing the bad guy now - the poor baby was so visibly hurt when Zhu Yan called him a scumbag. And that painful look he had when our Demon Lord thought something along the lines 'screw you, I know how to wake this boy up from his nightmare' and pierced himself with Yichen's sword (which, uh, seems to be quite a recurring motif and the symbolism of it isn't escaping me, nope XD). In the world of jianghu, the next best thing you can do to show you CARE apart from cutting sleeves is to stab (or get stabbed by) the person you care about. Or get stabbed FOR the person you care about.

I also love how effortlessly Yichen is third-wheeling without creating a feeling that he's actually third-wheeling XD Wen Xiao is obviously biased towards Zhu Yan, now even more so that she knows he IS that Great Demon who accompanied her and the Bai Ze Goddess all those years ago. I would totally trust him, too, if I were her. I also love the messed-up dynamic of a former caretaker/child who's grown up because now Zhu Yan definitely doesn't give us those parental vibes, he's oozing sensuality wherever he goes (and him pretending to be all hurt so she stays with him, ahah, that whole sequence was cute and hilarious). And Zhu Yan saying something along the lines that they now get to 'meet all over again' - was it to build a new relationship with her from scratch? M-hmm, yummy, utterly delicious :D

And you can see how Yichen kinda sorta admits defeat in the way Wen Xiao no longer needs his protection against the 'big bad demon' (the man is using his big bad demonic energy to push her swing, for Christ's sake XD), but still can't let the other man go so easily because of REASONS and that 'you'll have to pay for your sins either way' thing still going on between them. Zhu Yan does know what buttons to push when it comes to Yichen, but the feeling seems to be quite mutual (they're cute together and their interactions are so yummy 😍). That scene at the temple is EVERYTHING. And then at Zhu Yan's mansion with the swing. Is he swinging both ways? Ahah XD For a 34,000-year-old being I don't see how that could be an issue)))

Okay, cutting and piercing still seem to be the show's love language and I APPROVE (never had a kink like that, but there's a first thing for everything, I guess XD). The undertones just make it all so yum))

The introduction of the new character, Yinglei, was hilarious))) We also find out that the Wilderness is crumbling down, which makes the whole Bai Ze token thing even more important.

Hey! Since requests are open I'm wondering how the Fellowship would be like in a Coffeeshop AU! Like, can you even trust the hobbits with coffeee? XD

What do we think their coffee shop would be named?

Aragorn:

-Does he really want to be there? Not particularly

-But he finds some comfort in the simple monotonous routine

-He doesn’t make the coffee because he still can’t figure out the machines

-But he loads things into the machines, out of the oven, and is always the one who carries the coffee grounds out

Legolas:

-He’s a server I would think

-He doesn’t not have work ethic but he gets bored easily

-So he isn’t particularly helpful nor wanted in the kitchen

-He can’t cook or brew coffee

-All the older women flirt with him playfully and he either is oblivious or flirts back

-He might be a big contributor to why they have so many regulars; I mean who wouldn’t want to see him as often as possible?

-He makes himself the weirdest and nastiest combinations, no sorry, abominations to drink/eat

-Convinced he’s come up with a great flavor but it’s possibly lethal to anyone that isn’t him

Gimli:

-Takes this very seriously

-Every bean shall be inspected to ensure only the best quality

-Possibly has his own coffee brand

-Has to have special hair nets made for his beard because normal ones are far too small

-His hair is up in a bun

Boromir:

-He makes the pastries

-He doesn’t understand all the fancy coffees because he drinks it black

-Has a frilly apron that he forget to take off when coming out of the kitchen the first time he wore it

-But now it’s kinda a staple of the cafe because people liked it

-He wants the others to wear matching ones but no one else wears aprons; they just let their clothes get dirty

Frodo:

-Often works the register

-He is the best at customer service

-He’s got good banter, he can handle Karens, and is generally just an approachable little dude

-I also imagine he’s good at math so that’s another reason to work the register

Sam:

-Always working far too hard

-The second someone leaves he’s cleaning the tables

-Keeps everything in order

-Gets so upset when someone says he messed up their pride or something was burnt or something; it wasn’t, they were just being Karens but he took it to heart

-He put out a suggestions box for customers to use

-Sam and Merry are the main bakers but it’s Merry, Frodo, and Aragorn who get there in the wee hours of the morning to start making and prepping everything (Sam is not a morning person)

-Legolas is there too but he works to set up the cafe area and make sure everything’s clean and ready for the day

Merry:

-He flirts with every customer

-Not in a creepy way; he’s really just very charismatic

-He is in charge of coming up with holiday special flavors

-And on the topic of holidays him and Sam go so hard with holiday decorations

-He also was the main designer of the layout of the coffee shop

-He’s got good taste and he’s smart so the shop is both accessible and cute

Pippin:

-Doesn’t actually do anything and no one knows why he even still works there

-Actually no one knows if he’s even actually employed; he says he is but he doesn’t have a name tag that matches the others

-He sits on the counter and talks, and talks, and talks

-He takes pride in offering his opinion to customers on what to get

Gandalf:

-Doesn’t work there

-But you might think he does because he just serves himself

-Like he just goes behind the counter and makes his coffee how he wants it

-He does what he wants and everyone is too scared to argue with him

-He doesn’t always pay; sometimes he just walks out

-But he does always add to the tip jar; it’s not always money though, just whatever he has with him

Saw your thing about mha rewrites, thought i'd throw my hat in the ring. I've had a fic in mind for a while now that involved keeping midoriya quirkless, but instead of him just waiting for a quirk to happen, he'd actually been taking martial arts classes and such in preperation ( something that i find baffling that it didnt happen in canon) where the main issue for Izuku is pushing himself to far to prove a point. but in this, he distances from bakugou, the martial arts training giving him a better sense of self-esteem or atleast a better sense of where his energy is best spent. I plan to try to focus more on the ORIGINAL trio, uraraka, Izuku, and Iida....and i wanna give uraraka OFA bc i think playing around with what improved gravity manipulation could do. i think she'd get it after the torunament arc. Given how smart Midoriya was shown to be early on, I figure he'd make a lot of use of gadgets. infrared goggles, bo staff, head gear for better threat detection, and other possible improvements that he figures out throughout the year. All Might in this basically supports Midoriya's dream by providing the funding for the needed suit and gear. and instead of HIM having the iron man suit with everyones quriks somehow....lets give that to Midoriya, to represent his entier class pushing him forward as a symbol of hope for anyone who thinks they cant be a hero just bc their quirk sucks, or bc they dont have one. Nedzu is the traitor instead of aoyama, bc hes playing a game of 5d chess with AFO and knows once allmight loses his power, everythings going to go to shit, so he engineers events to happen at school with the lov to force the students to where they will have to be to survive the dark times to come. ie, doing a horrible thing, but he believes he has a solid reason for doing so. Bakugou loses to uraraka in the tournament. seeing midoriya so sucsessful without a quirk has made him impatient and desperate to prove himself so he goes at uraraka full boar. now, im not going to make this an insta win, that just dosent feel right, BUT this loss will be the second in a series of losses for bakugou to start going ' what am I doing wrong?' one of the other losses being that Midoriya completes the test with him and bakugou fighting allmight, but with Bakugou unconcious bc like in canon, dude flew off the handle and tried to solo the worlds strongest hero, while Midoriya was more tacticle in his approach. subsequently....bakugou dosent get kidnapped by the Lov, Midoriya does bc they think ' hey this kid is quirkless we can get him to turn' and its bakugou that fails to save Midoriya bc the students that failed their exam were all asleep during the time of the attack of the training camp. he wakes up and comes up short of saving the day, bc he blew his chance of victory. but heres the problem. i have the first couple chapters hammered out...but this is all a lot, and theres so much more that i know is either going to need to be covered. like the hero comercialization, the hero system relying solely on allmight to keep things in check, the lack of proper aid to those with quirks that would require some extra guidance etc. I have the idea....but the idea of writting all of it feels daunting to say the least XD if youd like i could also ramble more on other points i have in mind for this fic idea

Ngl, this sounds really good. OFA!Uraraka isn't something I see often, it's nice to see her get some love. Izuku working hard to become a hero on his own merit is always nice to see, and we love supportive All Might. I'm a firm believer that if Izuku had asked at any other time All Might would have given him a different answer. Izuku just happened to catch him when he was in a place of self-loathing and immeasurable chronic pain.

No, it doesn't excuse his actions. But it's realistic. He also tried to suggest that Izuku seek out a similar dream, like becoming a cop so it wasn't like he said what he did out of malice.

Also, don't be afraid to completely rewrite Horikoshi's terrible canon system! It's filled with a ton of contradictions and inconsistencies anyway so if you need to change it all to make sense, 100% go for it

Awh! Baby Yuebei loving dinos is everything to me!

Now I wanna see her family take her the dinosaur exhibit at a museum or science center or something. The science center near me has a whole exhibit for all things dinosaur related including fun interactive learning activities for little ones like fossil ecivission in rubber sand and life-size dinosaur animatronics in fake habitats we can walk through. I can't remember the rest rn, my favorite exhibit is the astronomy room! It's so dark in there, whole different vibe from all the others. But the whole building is like a science playground, the cubs(stoplight trio included, tho Redson is probably too much of a know-it-all to let himself enjoy it) would get a kick out of it. I can already imagine which exhibits some of them would enjoy.

yes! since Yuebei Xing as a character is tied to skulls and bones, I figured it would be cute that she'd have an interest in beings mostly know through their bones.

I know some larger museums have big sand pits to emulate excavations, like the one in New York. The zoo-aquarium in my granddads town has one of those walkable habitats too! The water/fake swamp was actually an aquarium for brackish water fish!

Now I'm loving the idea of Wukong letting the cubs go on a Museum Day to Megapolis, and ofc little kids love Natural History cus thats where the dinosaurs are! Tang pouts and wants to come along too - until Pigsy points out that he's a grown man that can pay his own ticket.

Wukong gets MK and Mei (and Redson since he's been pretty much adopted into the squad) to help bring the kids around to all the exhibits. When Wukong gets too tired to run around (especially cus of his condition), the Stoplight trio take over cub-wrangling duty while Wukong chills at the museum's cafe. Mei and MK treat it like a super-dangerous mission and try their best to engage in what's caught the cubs attentions. MK noticeably blanks in fear when he sees a model of Carboniferous bugs. Redson is a bit of smarty pants, but he's interested in the provided literature/the more obscure creatures on display. Tang is barely any help with babysitting since he gets as easily distracted as the cubs! XD

Yuebei is having the time of her life. Can't keep still for a moment - there's so many things to see and touch! And if there's an excavation pit - she's jumping straight in like a fox. No regards for her nice clothes, she's covered in sand and clay within seconds. Just absolutely feral over these bones.

Mei, pointing to a model: "Do you know what that is Yuebei?" Yuebei, holding a plush dino: "Ty-ranno-saur-us rex!" Mei: "Omg you're so good at this! What about that one?" Yuebei: "Pterro-dact-ill!" Mei: "Yup! Pterodactyl! It's a pretty cool dinosaur huh?" Yuebei, suddenly very serious: "Not dinosaur." Mei: "Huh?" Yuebei: "Not dinosaur." Red Son, reading a museum pamphlet: "She's correct. Pterosaurs are a different branch of archosaur separate from Dinosauria. It's like comparing snakes to lizards." Mei: "Omg! You're so smart, baby girl!" Yuebei: "Thank." (*smug "I know" face*)

If Macaque is around post S3, he helps out with wrangling the kids, but he'd quickly get over-stimulated by all the sights and sounds - so MK would take over for him so dear bama/baba can sit down with Wukong and de-stress. Wukong and Macaque might just wander off into the quiet art gallery if it's nearby (usually is in my experience) and poke fun at the historic art.

The Eclipse twins I feel are more into the astronomy side of the museum (hard not to since Space) and demand that they stay for a lecture on objects in the solar system. And if there's a planetarium - oh boy you know the cubs (and the grown-ups too) are gonna be entranced by the projections of all the stars and planets.

im assuming that there's not a lot of food sources available for taco so by this point she has gotten used to going about her day with very little emergy/feeling hungry, she would forget to eat a lot (or purposefully not eat to "conserve food" for others/for more difficult times) and mic has to remind her a lot

taco has probably gotten decently good at living in the woods and making do with stuff because assuming she has scavenged for food or whatever in that forest she could be growing her own food or actually hunting

she's probably semi-good at tech stuff, near test tube's level if not just as good (when she first acquires the invisibow it glitches out/breaks after a few tries but then later on it just never breaks once ? which leads me to assume she fixed it up/improved it somehow.) also the other 2 invisibows had to come from somewhere (the one knife broke and mic/mepad's bow)

she probably has a hoarding problem XD

i think i read a post of yours mentioning she has insomnia because of the forest but consider. she has insomnia because she has to stay alert so she doesn't get caught by the other contestants/anyone in general while she was living in the woods (if you already mentioned this before ignore it HAHA i am so forgetful)

TACO ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT EAT MUCH!!!! I've asked Justin about it, I've discussed (and your second hc for that matter!!) with my buddy @based-and-uncouth, I love this hc so so so much!!! Taco does NOT have easily access to good food sources in the woods!!! She has to conserve what little she does have, and combined with how harsh living in the wild is on one's body, and how small she is, she is unhealthily thin and generally unwell!! She would definitely keep those habits post-canon even when food is more plentiful!!! She just can't shake that fear so easily, yeah? Not to mention, after a period of starvation, a person has to up their portion sizes slowly so they don't make themselves sick!! Even if she wants to, she just can't start eating full portions right away!!! Mic would absolutely remind her to eat and help her out with getting her weight up <3.

And she absolutely has a range of survival skills after her years in the woods!!! Post-canon she would be pretty vital to building up their community, even if not everyone really trusts her, because she knows the most about the terrain, where to bathe, where to find food, and most importantly what food is and isn't safe to eat!!!! I'd imagine like, OJ or something trying to go out and make food on his own without consulting Taco, and then vomiting for a few hours because he used something unsafe in his dish. Lesson learned.

I LOVE HER BEING GOOD WITH TECH!!! Definitely not at a test tube level, it doesn't come as naturally to her, but she's a smart cookie (or a smart taco, I suppose) and could figure plenty out I'd bet!!! I believe she steals the other invisibow for Mic at the same time she steals her black one, and the other one we see in the beginning of episode 15 comes from a box of Testy/LB's things, so I think she just made another one after she "lost" the other two. But Taco does mess with Mepad's teleportation, and even if she doesn't manage to disable his own teleporting, she does enable herself to teleport, which I'd argue is more impressive. Techy Taco my beloved!!!

She would have a hoarding problem!!! Not sure if you meant items or food, but either way I'm with you. I made a post about her hoarding food a while back, so I'm just gonna talk about her hoarding stuff!!! Because Taco has pretty much nothing!!! I liked your version of the intended lucky charm! It would lead to a fun characterization of Marinette and a look into her creative (and stressed) mind, and also to funny reactions from other characters as you described. The only downside I could imagine is then there'd probably be a lot of viewers/fans who think Marinette is "stupid" for not creating the most obvious object and wish for her to be a more serious/efficient hero (not meant negatively, but I could very well imagine a kid shouting frustratingly at the screen why she created a spoon instead of a hook XD). With the luck-based lucky charm she now has an excuse for the randomness of the objects (but at the same time, since Reflekdoll, we also know that the Ladybug holder can influence the created object...)

Thanks, I'm glad you like it! I never know how niche my ideas are. I just know they feel right to me and make me happy. As you said, I think it would enhance Marinette's characterization while also giving a chance for other characters to react in funny ways as this is supposed to be a comedy.

Making the Lucky Charm an object of the holder's choosing would also make room for setups where Marinette gets ideas from her team. I think she should always be the main problem solver and that needing help should be a rare occurrence, but it would be totally fair if there were situations where Marinette couldn't think of a solution or where her proposed solution was missing a key fact. In those setups, someone else can suggest ideas or otherwise help her figure out what they need. You can't really do that with the canon setup as solving the weird puzzles is Marinette's special power. You don't want to give that to anyone else or you risk making Marinette feel less special and - when it comes to story telling - every character should be special in a unique way.

I don't think there'd be much risk of viewers looking down on Marinette for making weird choices. Smart characters having odd ways of thinking is pretty standard across all kinds of genres. They could even use it as a way to highlight the value of neurodiversity, though I'm not sure I'd ever trust canon with sensitive topics like that.

When Armin and Annie first met... I believe here, it was actually Annie who spoke first instead of Armin, unlike in main canon where I think Armin speaks up first. This is because 'bad girl' Annie KNOWS what she likes without question and is more confident in her social skills than in canon... at least, to me! She spends some time 'investigating' this cutie nerd with glasses, and noticed how she gets glances from him, only for the blond to turn away bashfully. So, Annie speaks to him first... and while Armin is surprised, a simple "Hey" isn't enough to scare him off. After these two have a decent talk about science class, they wave goodbye and go about their separate ways for the day... smiling. "See you tomorrow?" "Yes, tomorrow sounds good."

Their meetings after this gradually become more fun and less awkward, with Annie kind of falling into EMA's trio a tad- though only when Armin is there xD. If it's just Eren or Mikasa, Annie will not give them a word. This isn't because she dislikes them... but rather, her social battery can only take so much! While I think her social skills are better here than in canon (I believe)... Annie is still faaar from a social butterfly xD

Armin, namely after just a few interactions with Annie, has become SO enamored by her. Outside of Mikasa, his goth BFF, no girl has actually talked to him in an unironic way! As one of the 'nerds', he isn't exactly high on the school chain of respect... even though he should be!! Yet, Annie sees his smarts! Though he wonders if she also likes anime... things to figure out later. Even so, Armin wants to learn more about Annie.

Eventually their feelings are fully realized, and they DO confess after a few months of knowing each other... but ofc it's through little letters and indirect means, until BOTH simply say it out loud to each other at the same time :3

After feelings are shared, they go into a secret relationship... not because they are embarrassed of themselves, but due to the social norms of the school. Everyone would freak out if they knew! Thus, they only hold hands when it's just them... and sit close to each other at lunch. Not even Eren and Mikasa know! .... that is until later that Sunday when Armin visits Mikasa's house, and she locks the door behind them. "Tell me everything. Have you two been holding hands? Did she put you up to this? Has she kissed you!? Like- on the LIPS!??" Armin now overwhelmed and wondering how the hell did Mikasa figure- wait, it's Mikasa... OF COURSE SHE FIGURED IT OUT! "W-We haven't done anything! A-And it was up to both of us! We haven't kissed yet..." .... ......... "... YET!?!?"

Once their relationship becomes public knowledge (no, Mikasa didn't spill the beans xD). It would be after their first kiss... which Armin decides to go for... but it's Annie that really leans into it, and after their lips part, she says, "... Fuck... you're sweet. Did I ever tell you that I... really like sweets?" A smirk on her face... Armin's crimson blush reveals the truth, "N-No... you didn't. I'm glad for it though..." A gentle smile... (Sorry they are just CUTIES)

Whenever they go out to eat, even though Armin dislikes it and wants to pay more, Annie usually suggests she pays their bill because she has far more cash than Armin does... she doesn't do her guitar sessions for free!

Speaking of!! Armin is SO in love with how Annie plays the guitar! He could, and HAS listened to her for HOURS! Laying on the floor, kicking his feet as he gazes up at her playing while visiting her home... All Armin can think of is how stunningly beautiful Annie is...

HI HI HIIII HELLO i am back from being out and kind of in a bit of an anxiety spiral but i'll be okay, had a cry and showered and i'm chilling now, thought you should hear about my weirdo dog!!!

so her name is Oppie (started out a lil differently but Oppie suits her!) and she's about 8 years old now, getting on a bit but still a very funky creature. she's from a breeder because my father wanted a purebred once as a change from adopting most of the time, and we picked her from all her brothers (she was the only girl left because she was the only one who would let my father pick her up and hold her in his arms like you would with a baby lol, tummy up, and she was just so chill about it. she was also the only one of the litter who wasn't a stubby-tailed puppy, and she's pretty small for a blue heeler because her mum was also kinda tiny.

she's a super cool doggo, and genuinely it's been so cool watching her and how she interacts with the world. she's hella smart, literally tries to manipulate everyone into doing her bidding, knows a bunch of commands, can close doors and stuff, and recognises family names and words. she's also really bonded to my father and has a Huge grudge against my baby brother (he's preteen and they have a bad habit of Always being in each other's way to the point where it's gotta be somewhat intentional, leading to her nipping ankles. bad habit, we're in the process of training both of them out of it T-T).

in terms of her personality, she's pretty antisocial towards other dogs and barks at em a lot, but towards strangers and general people she is the most lovely, friendly creature you ever did see, always looking for scratches and headpats and attention. you could literally stick your hand in her mouth and she wouldn't do anything. but yeah just generally very sweet towards humans.

fun facts about Oppie:

when she was a puppy, she jumped out of a moving car once. and she was on a leash too, she just YEETED her way out of the (half-up) window and we had to stop the car asap. lil dumbass got away with nothing but scratched pawpads but i think we're somewhat traumatised and she still does Not have window privileges in the car

she Lauvs running and can run so so fast

since blue heelers have a second coat, she's pretty furry and sheds a lot. i used to have to brush her pretty often, but have since found out i'm allergic and no longer take on that duty Imao

her favourite thing ever is the pool. she adores

the water and swimming and splashing it and she's so stubbornly determined that when we used to have an inground pool she would do parkour to get up on top of the fence (which was like 2 metres high) and then jump over the spiky gate bit to get to the poolwe even had tocover the bars of the fence with chicken wire because she would squeeze through them

she'll take a toy over a treat anytime, but she still loves liver treats and bully sticks

she's So stubborn and strong that one time she pulled hard enough in a game of tug of war that she broke her tooth. like. an actual tooth. one of the long canine fang thingies on the top row of teeth, and she had to get surgery for it. like Gurl you're kind of insane but i love you.

Im so sorry to hear about the anxiety spiral, but I'm glad there was some relief given in some way!!

First off: Oppie sounds absolutely PRECIOUS oh my god!!! Being a full blooded heeler I figure she would be insanely intelligent, almost to a fault XD my little heeler is such a smart baby and knows all sorts of words and tricks and behaviors, its so second nature for them to have a job or something to do with their brain and body~! It sucks she doesn't quite get along with your brother, though of course it is most likely because they get in each others way and she feels she's not controlling him right (not trying to mansplain your dogs behaviors at all, I just like to speculate~).

Though in another way my heeler is very much like yours: she doesn't do well with other dogs at all but she does wonderful with people. She'd curl into someone's skin if they let her after they gave her precisely one (1) eye contact lmao, and gentle as can be, just wants you to throw the ball or frisbee without ever actually taking it from her~ Other dogs make her uncomfortable though, we never did get to understand why. I found her one day (it was actually fathers day) just wandering up the street missing half her fur, so we were curious if it was like an abuse or dog fighting thing, but no solid proof either way.

That's been many years ago now though and she's got all her fur and siblings and toys~! I rambled a bit there but, short story long, the only other dog she's ever accepted is my beagle, he's a special boy for both her and I, and honestly I've never come up with a good explanation for why she accepted him.

Heelers are an enigma and a delight, I love them so terribly much! They are one of my favorite breeds to train and hear stories about, so thank you so so much for telling me about her! It seriously did make my day!

Is it just me or did the show try way too hard to make Rapunzel 'super smart'. This isn't to say I think she shouldn't have any smarts cause I get the idea she studied things in the tower but her character always read more to me as 'smart for someone that has been in a tower all her life' she never seemed like a braniac type character to me. I'm cool with her knowing random facts and understanding Varian's science babble but then they just kept pushing it that it felt ridiculous "Oh she can build inventions on the fly" "oh she can figure how to get through ancient traps all on her own with 0 help from the other braniac in the room". It honestly feels like they exaggerated Rapunzel's smarts to a ridiculous degree.

We are not on the same page about this at all. XD

Rapunzel is super smart, and I've been saying it since well before the series came out. She is self-taught on star charting. That's an entire scientific study that she figured out all on her own through patience and observation. Her interests have never been exclusively artistic, and a lot of the artistic ones that are mentioned in the movie require an understanding of math and physics, be in innate or conscious. And now that she has access to an entire royal library worth of information? Well, need I remind you how the series decided she spent that first visit?

And what does she have in her room?

She loves reading so much that she made a little nook in her bookcase so she could spend her reading time close to her books.

Rapunzel spent her time in the tower bored, with nothing better to do than create or experiment. I'm not at all surprised that she figured out how to build things on the fly.

The only issue I have with the skills they gave her are making her combat-savvy enough to hold her own in the Challenge of the Brave.

Pencil is 100% the one who got sent to toad tower, she's got her whole "i want my friend group back the way it was" ark and has thrown an entire van like a ball no issue, so she'd fit the strength role perfect, knowing her once she finds out two other members are also here she's either going to stop at nothing to get them both hack, or crash out entirely and try to convince grime that those two need to pay for leaving her, maybe a little mix of both

(Also i feel like she would form a sort of "freesmart again" team with grime, percy, and braddock, and they definatly rebranded a carrage to the "freesmart super carriage" which pencil has somehow managed to literally throw about three or four times)

Book could work decently as mercy, not 100% on that one, unless we wanna change things a bit considering books whple "you betrayed me" thing with taco could carry over to another character, maybe she thinks pencil betrayed freesmart or something despite being the leader, or she's already drifted off by this point if we use the tpot version and isn't fully vibing with pencil literally joining the toad military and trying to kill one of their friends

needle could also be a good fit, she's got her whole wanting to be part if the group situation, and actually is decently smart, though once again she's gotten over that by the time tpot starts up, so maybe she's actually kinda done with the whole freesmart thing too and is maybe trying to either deal with pencil becoming a threat, or just doing her own thing in newtopia

ngl I'm tempted to say match, development wise we know her time in the classroom messed her up, but she also became a lot more sympathetic twords others while there, I mean, she was on good terms with bracelety! Ok I SWEAR I'm working on more Freddy asks! But I literally just figured these out, and my brain would not let me rest until I sent them into your inbox. I'm serious, I tried XD you don't have to answer right away! This is so I can get peace XD

So what exactly has gotten my brain so riled up? Well, I was thinking about how we compared the N'ever After Wolves to the Toon Patrol, and that led me to thinking of how they'd be in a swapped setting. Like the weasels are a part of a Fairy Tale world, and the wolves are a gang in the 40's.

I'm gonna have to give them seperate asks to keep them organized. Let's start with N'ever After!

Ok so, let's say that maybe in this world, Fairy Tale Land has grown into the new age. Either that, or fea creatures replace the toons in the 1940's. Either way, fairy tale creatures and character of all kinds are running amuck.

In the case of the bad guys, various villains and baddies have formed their own groups and gangs. In the case of the Big Bad, Granny and Kiddy, they stick together.

Calling them a gang might be stretching it, since it's just the three of them? But they do still commit crimes together, and strike fear into those who know them.

Big Bad, with his manipulative friendliness, is put in charge of collecting debts and striking deals more often than not. He's the one who snags the person in, make them feel comfortable, before he lays it out for him. And he has no problem getting his hands dirty if they don't cooperate.

Granny is genuinely nice, but that doesn't mean he's to be messed with. With his more inquiring smarts, Granny is better at getting intel and interrogating. He can easily play it the easy way, pretending to be a regular guy asking plenty of questions. Or he can play it the hard way; getting the answers out of you by force.

Kiddy is more often by Granny's side, but that doesn't mean he isn't useful. If need be, Granny or Big Bad- mainly Big Bad- will have Kiddy sniff out any run aways that owe them. Or, similar to the movie, they'll have Kiddy check a situation out for them.

Who is the head boss? Eh... Granny and Bad can't seem to decide XD they're constantly butting heads just like in the movie. And if their gang ever grew in size, they'd probably wind up having their own lackeys that follow them.

When Frieda was getting all the bad guys together- which in this AU would take a bit longer, since she'd have to visit each individual gang and convince them to join her cause, Granny was the one who questioned it at first, but Big Bad decided to go all in right away. Granny, and Kiddy by extension, were quick to follow.

Alright, what we really want. The S/O headcannons XD

With your Princess Y/N, I'm not sure how you'd want to implement them in this AU (if you even want to- I'd love it if you'd wanted to! But of course you don't have to ^^). But for my Riding Hood Y/N; I'd say that Y/N is one of the debtors. Sort of.

Y/N runs her own grocer. It's a small business that happens to be in the wolves' part of town, so she's gotta pay the 'protection fee' just like everyone else.

At first it starts off as just paying money. But at some point, Y/N gets the idea that Big Bad likes food, and he seems pretty friendly enough. So maybe, if she gives him some of her produce along with the cash, it'd put her in his good book and make her extra safe!

It works. I mean, who's gonna turn down free food? And Y/N even winds up meeting Granny and Kiddy too after this deal has been made.

Eventually, Big Bad decides that she doesn't have to pay them the money anymore. Claiming that her good food is payment enough now. And this is definitely a relief to Y/N!

But in reality, that's the first sign that the wolves have grown fond of Y/N. The next sign is when they start stopping by her store more often. Even after collecting her 'payment'. It's kind of scary, but as long as they don't do anything to her, Y/N doesn't pay it any mind.
