I wish I didn't hate Ed and Stede but here we are I guess

I didn't have time to put a section about this in my review (since it would add another ten minutes onto a fifty minute video hhhhh) but I just gotta take a second and vent about how much I dislike Stede and Ed in season two.

When I watched season two for the first time, I assumed I didn't ship Gentlebeard anymore because I'd...I dunno...gotten bored of the ship or whatever. But when I went back to rewatch season one, I was immediately sucked back into the Ed/Stede jet engine. I loved them through the finale, up until around the middle of season two...at which point I became totally disinterested again.

Even going back through season one clips for this review...the chemistry is soooo strong for me. The only time I got that feeling from season two was like, from the mermaid scene and the finger-stacking scene.

And I honestly think my disinterest stems from the fact that I can't stand Ed and Stede as characters anymore. They're dicks in season one, but ANNOYING dicks in season two, and I guess I just...don't ship characters who make me want to tear my hair out.

In season two, Ed behaves like a petulant five year old with a gun. It's so "say sorry to your friend right now!" "I don't wanna! :(" followed by a stint in the time out chair and a mumbled non-apology. For all of season two, Ed behaves like a spoiled brat, and I really can't stand it.

My friend pointed out that Ed is in a position where he needs to reparent himself. His emotional development likely stopped around the time he killed his dad (when he was still a kid). No one modeled healthy behavior and emotional regulation for Ed past the age of...maybe fifteen? So of course he's gonna behave like a kid. It's gonna be a long road for Ed to learn these regulating strategies as an adult, and I guess...hhhhhh.

None of Ed's trauma excuses Ed from torturing and traumatizing his crew. It feels shitty to find a deeply traumatized character's behavior "annoying," but...I mean. I say this as someone who's experienced suicide ideation myself: Ed isn't real, and I'm not Ed's friend, and so I don't really feel obligated to extend patience and understanding to a fictional construct when that construct spends 90% of his screen time behaving like a stuck up, self-obsessed, capricious, whiny, murderous asshole.

Add season-two-Stede to the mix and CHRIST...Stede—like Ed—was always a dick, but the way he encouraged Lucius to divulge his trauma only to react with cartoonish disgust, cower like a cornered animal, and then flee while begging Lucius to be quiet...

Then Stede decides to veto the crew's decision to ban Ed—their abuser—from the ship ("talk it through as a crew" my ass)...? Oh, and gotta love how Stede-"I've been the cause of death. It changes you"-Bonnet sets a guy on fucking fire and laughs, then kills a bunch of English soldiers with nary a backward glance. Okay. Would've loved some kind of exploration re: that major heel turn, but fine. And then Ed and Stede stand over Izzy's grave—the (mutilated) body of their dear friend and crewmate—and their combined eulogy amounts to "He was tense. Very tense." "Yeah, he was a fucking nightmare. What a guy." How endearing. Season two turned these two bastards (affectionate) into bastards (derogatory) for me and I'm still salty about it. God DAMMIT.

Oh my god, the audio sure did drama this week!!  

👻 @tellnotalespod (S2E7.5) HOW did none of us put this together sooner?! Oh my god, what an absolutely INCREDIBLE little twist. I love the undercurrent of hopeful resilience in Tell No Tales (Leo is going to get with the programme really soon 🤞) and I am screaming, crying and throwing up imagining the end of season reunion 😭 HOWEVER, don’t think I missed for a second that Riley is asking for another packet of painkillers . . . it would be so like him to think that 16 paracetamol is two doses of paracetamol but still! He needs to be okay!!

🌲 @hellofromthehallowoods (147) hhhhh what a GOOD episode. There’s something different about the horror of season 4 that I want someone with a literature degree to talk to me about for hours. Can we please talk about how the murder victim had a treble clef carved into them . . . i.e. the symbol at the start of a piece of music. It’S SO CLEVER I love the intricate details of this show!!!!! And, can we also talk about how emotional I feel about Clem (namer of everything) is in love with Shelby (has a cat named Cat). There’s something in that which is giving me palpitations.

There were so many moments in these eps which made me laugh but I’m mostly just so in awe of how complex and real these characters are. Then and now - shippy edition! 💜

Enabled and inspired by @pinkyjulien @humberg @arcandoria @breezypunk @kharonion and everyone else who's done something similar XD My little VP and modding journey featuring Vince and Kerry over the last few months!

So, I figure, most of you can relate to my disappointment when I realized at the end of my first playthrough that there's so little interaction possible with the main NPCs outside of their respective questlines. The text messages your LI sends you are adorable, yes. Being able to sleep in their bed and then waking up next to them? A+ game design, 100/100, every game with romances needs this. But where is my option to hug, kiss, spend time with Kerry? Rude!!

Still though, I was undeterred to create some shots for my new favourite blorbos with my vanilla game (I had never heard of AMM then (or at least was too chickenshit still to install it)).

2023/Feb/06

Behold, my first attempts at creating something shippy (and I do still like these a lot) - title: Kerry meets Nibbles.

The idea behind this is probably kinda self-explainatory XD I had these as desktop background for so long, it feels so nostalgic to look back at them now. I think I have some slightly edited versions somewhere but cannot find them for the life of me, but there's no big difference really, just some slight colour/contrast editing.

I was always a bit bummed out by the fact that Kerry's default outfit for idling at the villa is the one with sunglasses on (while over the progression of his questline he wears it less and less as he gets to know V better, as if he is letting his guard down). But oh well! Also yes, that was and still is my favourite photomode pose for V really, because it is very versatile:

But that's... really it when it comes to opportunities for shippy moments outside of the quests.

2023/Feb/09

I was yearning for more!! As you can see, these are only 3 days apart. I had done some research and learned about the "[NPC] Interactions Enhanced" mods that I highly recommend for the options to kiss and hug your LIs alone :3 And! More shippy shot opportunities, because Kerry will finally be somewhere else in his huge-ass villa besides the sofa or the bed, and take off those beloathed sunglasses:

Hhhh.... I can't tell you how happy I was about this shot. I remember yelling to my friends on Discord about it half in tears (none of them really knowing much about the game yet apart from my occasional screaming about all the angst and plot twists). I think I described it as "Vince finally feeling some actual, real happiness, daring to imagine a future", just content and relaxed, having a late night talk with Kerry. I still like it a lot, and because of the mod enabling me to take this pic I still low-key wanna look into quest-modding some day and see if I can make something in a "romance-enhanced" direction. The "Kerry calls V and wants help with cleaning up the villa" quest we all deserve xD

2023/Feb/12

Another couple of days later, and with one toe dipped into modding now, I finally installed AMM (I think, since this was around Valentine's Day, this must've been when I saw a tutorial by @pinkyjulien on how to pose your blorbos for kissing poses with AMM, and my mind was blown XD). My first attempt to even get anything accomplished was kinda frustrating though (because I wanted to do too much too quickly). In a couple of the other "then and now" posts I saw earlier that the more common approach for getting into AMM used to be "swap your characters with NPCs around the city" and I was like.... "oh, yeah, that would've made things a lot easier" 🤡 Nope, I went right in with spawning them in and trying to squish them together with poses that somewhat matched XD

The following were my first AMM-posed screenshots that worked how I wanted them to, and aösdhfdsaf I am somewhat self-conscious about them still. What is a "look at" feature? What are expressions?

I never shared these publically before but hhhhh... this is it, this is the moment where the brainrot started. They're at Dark Matter, talking about V's childhood in Charter Hill, musing about how it's insane how they both occupied almost the same spaces for such long periods of their lives and only never ran into each other due to their age difference. I'm actually still (slooooowly) working on a little comic with this scene/story as topic, cause it is so essential and important to me (based on a random spontaneous decision I made about V's past before even knowing the Dark Matter existed... right across from V's childhood home asdöasdhfjds. Setting the whole "we were destined for each other" trope I have going on with them so much in stone ;A;). This is one of the shoots I'd also really like to redo with my current VP skills... maybe when I've finished my hand-holding poses, cause yeah... hand holding ;__;

Five months later, still stupidly in love with each other, still regularly back at the Dark Matter because the place is so gorgeous and important to them. Kerry's getting some more outfits slowly but surely (even with sunglasses!), I have a much better understanding of AMM and the VP possibilities in general now. These two unlocked completely new ways of creative expression for me that I wouldn't even have dreamed of possessing or wanting to follow. VP has become such an amazing creative outlet, for creating all those little scenes I wish I existed in the base game, or which I'd love for them to have in their future.

Am I crying about fictional pixel men too much? Maybe. But over a short period of time they've become so important to me, and I got to meet so many cool and inspiring people in this community after not really feeling part of or even drawn to creating for a fandom for a long time anymore. Can't wait to update this post some time in the future to see where my and their journey will lead to!

I feel like my progress is kinda slow, and I wish I had more time to dedicate to them and all my creative endeavours, cause they'd deserve it for all the joy they bring me xD But alas... Fingers crossed for more spare time and better time management in my future! Thanks for reading this far and coming to my blorbo talk 💜

hhhhh I recently reread Karma and it's fun being so aware of like.. how everyone feels about Eclipse now vs then. Blood Moon especially is the most fun to look at, since they went from "fuck that guy we will literally tear him limb from limb if given the chance" to "you're our dad! boogiewoogiewoogie!". Moon, too. Like I know by the end of Karma that all of them wanted Eclipse to be alive, but "I want to save this guy because I've seen that potential to change that Lunar has faith in" is different from "I'm checking up on him because he's having a real bad mental health day and I'm concerned about him". And just! They didn't KNOW at the time, like none of them could have known what Eclipse was like under all of that. Blood Moon ruminates on it when they're upset: "A plague in their shared headspace, a constant reminder that neither tried to see past Eclipse’s mask, or what lies beyond. And now they know that there is something else there.. but they didn’t get enough time to see it." Idk, it's just something that's like-- the closer they get to Eclipse and the better he gets, the more retroactively horrible it is that he died briefly. They very nearly lost the chance to get to know this person who is a lot different from the Eclipse they thought they knew.

Gives me feelies, man.

I really wanted to emphasize the fact that everyone was so close to losing that chance and felt bad not because of the circumstances, but because they knew that was their only chance to make things right on THEIR END, too.

Moon especially feels bad about this, because he knows Eclipse is one of, if not THE ONLY one that can match his ideas and maybe even improve them, so losing that chance to not only be a friend to him, but also work alongside him to create better things really eats away at him.

Lunar saw little snippets of the REAL Eclipse, and he knew that it wasn’t right to just leave him to die because of twisted ideals that weren’t even his fault, really. That doesn’t excuse all that he did, but it EXPLAINS it, and Lunar only really wanted an explanation after all that.

This analysis is so in depth and you have, once again, awed me with your analysis <3

It’s just that any email in my inbox between now and the beginning of March that isn’t an interview offer or an acceptance is superfluous to me.  Now that all of my top ones are submitted (all that’s left is my “safety” which I may not submit until January tbh bc I’d heard that one of my schools could get back to me as soon as January and I’d choose that one over my safety any day, I think), I am officially starting to feel that icky feeling of “what if I don’t get in anywhere, what if everything I did is wrong, what if my only choice is between somewhere I definitely don’t want to go and not going anywhere at all, what if, what if, what if, I’m afraid, I’m so scared, I wish I just knew already” and so on and so forth.  But I am going to hold out.  Regardless of what happens, I will survive.  I refuse to consult admissions forums or subreddits like I have during my past few admission cycles because they only make me more anxious.  I just... I hate the wait, you know?  And the uncertainty that comes with it.  And while there is some comfort in knowing that there are tons of people out there just like you who are in the same boat because misery loves company, miserable, anxious people generally don’t help other miserable people feel all that much better.

And so I wait.  And I will have to keep myself busy in the meantime.  I will have to find some ways to distract myself into forgetting that my future plans, goals, and dreams are on the line here and that I don’t really have a backup plan lined up and.. hhhhh.  (Also I think I should’ve at least mentioned the consortium involved in two of my applications because that was a huge draw for why I was applying there in the first place, but those are also the two places that I.. am the most certain I will not be accepted to, so (they’d be dope schools to attend, don’t get me wrong, but for a variety of reasons I don’t think it will work out (or maybe I’m just being pessimistic disguised as realistic again to save myself from eventual heartache, but, really, who knows)).)

Plus I can’t help but think that maybe I should’ve done something different in this app or that app and maybe I should’ve talked more about why I really liked the school in my statement or maybe I should’ve submitted a copy of my poster as a representation of some of my old work and I just...  I’m just so worried.  Like I’m structuring my entire Spring around the possibility of interviewing and recruitment days, and it’d be so embarrassing to have none of that happen at all.  This ain’t undergrad with an average of 35% acceptance.  I’m looking at rates of 1-5% bruh.  And if I don’t get in anywhere I have to go back and tell that to my recommenders and I physically don’t know if I can handle that, and it makes me feel sick just thinking about it.

As much as I try to remember that I have great qualifications, fantastic recommenders, and a solid history when it comes to beating the odds of low acceptance rates (for the selective programs with ridiculously low acceptance rates to which I’ve applied, I’ve been accepted an almost unreasonably high percentage of the time), every single time feels like a new, more impossible beast.  

But that’s how it’s supposed to be, right?  As you become more qualified, the applicant pool around you increases in their qualifications as well.  So you know you’re putting up a fight in your application.  And your achievements, your selection over other talented candidates, represent not only the fight but the victory.  And that’s all I want, really.  A victory.  Even if it’s a choice between two of my preferred programs, I don’t need all six.  The victory wouldn’t feel so amazing if it was easy, would it?  So I accept the challenge (I have no choice at this point).  I accept the challenge and pray for the best. 

And if it doesn’t work out this go round, I have plenty that I can evaluate and improve up for the next go round.  Ideally, a year of setback won’t put me out of the running.

Today I’m thankful for all As this semester.  I’m thankful for my ecoanth prof who was far more lenient than she should have been but her goal was fully for us to learn in whatever way worked best for us and I can respect that.  I’m thankful for my easy archaeology class where all I did most days was show up and lazily scribble notes.  I’m thankful for my evolution class where there were so many opportunities to actively engage with the material (and gain points) before taking the exams that I never felt too worried about keeping a good overall grade.  I’m thankful for my popgen class where I learned! so! much! about genetics and computer modeling and I wish I could take another class with that prof in particular, he was probably the best prof I’ve had at this university (closely followed by my biochem 1 prof, I’d think).  I’m thankful for devbio, a class I only took because I needed it to fulfill a requirement and I didn’t think I’d care about it at all, but it introduced me to a whole new field in biology which I actually might want to explore more if I’m offered the opportunity.

TP WORLD BUILDINGGGG

Botw has good world building too, but each race felt kinda,,, isolated? I absolutely love the different architecture and vibe each town has (and all the the weapons too) but ghhh yea everyone felt so separated. As far as I can remember, we don’t see tooo much of the races interacting with each other? Now that I’m typing that out maybe that’s to be expected because of the calamity but KLSJDKJFD ANYWAYS THIS IS ABOUT TP

The world feels nice and alive, love how populated everything is

Castle town I like castle town a lot, it feels dense and busy and I really like how you can’t talk to every NPC you see

Very cool very fun that we got to see the Gorons hanging out in multiple spots

kinda wish we got to see the Zoras a little more (I guess they are a bit limited since they need water but GHHHH the tp zoras are so prebby,,)

BUT HEY, I do remember seeing a zora or two hanging out in the hot springs around death mountain after beating the lakebed temple (I think, might have been a different dungeon) 

but aaaa would have been nice to see them in at least a couple of other places. I think it would have really added to the “congrats Link!! You’re restoring peace to Hyrule” feeling you get from seeing the Gorons hanging out in Kakariko and Castle Town

Love Midna’s theme and how they referenced the dark world theme from ALttP (I remember trying to learn the dark world theme on the piano and doing the Leonardo DiCaprio point meme at the little jingle I recognized from Midna’s theme)

Hyrule field theme SLAPS.

Apparently references a couple of the other over-world themes from the previous zelda games (I got this from 8-bit Music theory’s video on the over-world zelda themes, he talks about TP at around 11:40 but def recommend watching the whole video if you’re into music analysis stuff)

So there’s this bit of the Hyrule Field theme, I don’t know the official name for it but I remember seeing somewhere it being called the “at an advantage theme” since yeah, you hear it during the boss music whenever you expose their weak points. FUCKINGGG LOVE THAT. Didn’t notice it during my first playthrough, but hearing it during my second was like a little easter egg for my ears every time :)

Literally, the first time I listened to those I just,,,, plugged in my headphones, volume 100, layed on the floor/against my desk and silently vibed. I don’t know what the hell it is, but those two just fit so well with TP?? I still avoid listening to them nowadays cause if I DO I definitely will get overwhelmed with the “god I love this game so FUCKING MUCH” kind of feels.

TP STAFF ROLL??? 

VERY GOOD. IT’s like 10 minutes long and GOD do I love every single second of it. It doesn’t have the same energy as the skyward sword staff roll or the orchestra pieces but GOD does it hit good??

Nice and calm after that big exciting adventure. Maybe it would have been more fun or emotional to have a higher energy piece but it was really nice getting to sit back and watch the camera fly around Hyrule. Seeing like, the Gorons and the Zoras having a good time, the kids returning to Ordon? GOOD SHIT.

and AAAAA that end, when you hear the main Zelda theme and see Link riding off out of Faron woods on Epona… good shit. It gets you thinking, where the hell is he going? What is he doing? Off ot do more adventuring? Going to help out the resistance or something? Going to help Zelda? Or maybe he’s trying to figure out a way to restore the mirror of twilight? Whoooo knows.

They’re all just so unique and contrast SO well with the rest of the TP OST. LIKE FUCK!! Anytime I hear the screech from the Twilit Kargarok? Sends a shiver down my spine. I associate those sounds SO strongly with the twili realm. (Like, the same way you associate the BSHEWW VVWWMMM sounds with light sabers)

The smell of coffee wafts through the air as you sit on the couch, three boys perched around you as they argue about something your sleepy brain can't really be bothered to listen to. Coffee sounds so good right now - thank god for Chan, really, making your caffeinated bean juice in the kitchen at this very moment.

A small body presses into your side. You look down to see Hyunjin staring at Jisung, a bemused expression on his little face. "Even with coffee?"

"Papa always catches me in his arms," Jisung says confidently. "He'd drop the coffee. Right, Lixie?"

Felix nods quickly. "Yeah!"

Okay, you have no idea where this conversation came from - last you heard, they were talking about which Pokemon is the best - but at least this is something you can follow. "Drop coffee?" you ask. "What coffee?"

"If Papa was carrying coffee but I jumped at him, he would drop the coffee and catch me instead," Felix explains. "Same for Sungie and Jinnie."

Hyunjin frowns. "Are you sure?"

"Yes!"

Well, this sounds like an interesting experiment. It might be a waste of a cup of coffee, but...

This will wake you up way more than any cup of bean juice ever could.

You grin. "Well, boys, why don't we test it out?"

When the coffee machine stops whirring in the kitchen, the boys are in position. Jisung stands a little distance away from the entrance, ready to run and leap into his father's arms. Hyunjin and Felix watch carefully from the sides, ready to both observe and possibly jump into Chan's arms as well, to provide two more pieces of evidence for this experiment.

As for you? You're on the couch with your phone out, ready to record every second of this. All for scientific reasons, of course.

"Y/N, I have your coffee." Chan's footsteps sound from the kitchen. Phone trained on the entrances, you press record. "It's so quiet in here -"

"PAPA!"

Chan's eyes widen almost comically as he registers a little ball of squirrel-human racing toward him at full speed. "No, Jisung, I'm holding coffee -!"

The coffee drops to the ground with a crash and a splash, and Jisung lands safely in his father's arms.

For a moment, everything is silent. Chan looks around over the top of his son's head, eyes wide in confusion. Your phone is beginning to shake in your hands out of suppressed laughter. Meanwhile, Hyunjin and Felix both give each other one look, then -

"PAPA!!!"

Two more tiny children go hurtling into Chan's arms, and suddenly, there are now three boys wrapped in various positions around Chan's body, and Chan looks even more confused. "Y/N," he asks, muffled around Felix's hair, "what's going on? Hey - are you recording me?"

You end the recording. Minho is going to get a kick out of this when you send it to him. "The boys wanted to see if you'd drop your coffee to catch them," you grin.

His eyes narrow. "You put them up to this, didn't you."

The grin on your face says everything.

"Don't send the video out." Chan's eyes turn pleading. "Please."

"No promises." You stand up, tucking your phone safely away. There's an empty space on Chan's back, and you want to see just how much he can stand before this little tower of people collapses.

Chan notices you eyeing his back as you come closer. "Y/N, no."

You grin. "Y/N, yes."

(Chan falls under the weight of three children and one adult, leaving the five of you a pile of giggles on the ground. Someone's hand is on your nose and you're pretty sure Hyunjin is wiggling underneath you, but the funniest part is Chan lying face down on ground, covered in four other bodies.

"You're cleaning up the mess," he says, muffled into the floor.

"Yeah, yeah. Of course." You slowly extricate yourself from the pile and pat his head. "Oh, good morning, by the way."

He turns his head just enough that you can see the exasperated smile on his lips. "Good morning to you too, Y/N.")

Now that I have your permission let me introduce you or remind you of a little show called Galactik Football (Americans would say soccer).

Basically, aliens play in space but with superpowers to make it more interesting.

We have:

The Ligtnings, blue beings that look like they are made out of lightning. They have teleportation power. Most notable is Warren. The best of the best. Big sigma male/daddy energy.

The Shadows, creepy and edgy. They can teleport too, have long fabulous hair and know kung fu. Also, they are an allegory for drugs and smoking.

The Cyclops can hypnotize people with their eyes. Rather short.

The Rykers, huge cyborg-like aliens with powerful screams.

The Wambas, monkey-like jungle people. They can run on all fours and have prehensile feet.

The Xenons, lizard people. They have the ability to freeze their opponents. The most exceptional is Luur. He single-handedly played with the opposing team for the first half of the match. Kicked the goal net off the pitch. And he's a short king.

Elektras have water powers. (I don't know why the writers didn't come up with a more fitting name) They are colorful fish anime girls.

What do you think?

Hhhhh, none of them really hit the spot for me, but they are kinda funky looking, I'll give them that.

I especially like the cyclops, they're cute in a funny sort of way. Fish girls remind me of early zora from Legend of Zelda.

I don't know if the "Technodroids" are a team, but I saw their design for season one and it appeals to my robotfucker side!

Context: Prior to Ruin, of all the songs by The Amazing Devil, I really only know (the song) “The Horror and the Wild” and “That Unwanted Animal”, so I haven’t listened to their second album yet

Oh my god….. I love this vibe so much… I’m pretty sure The Amazing Devil’s lyrical style subconsciously influenced me, especially the conversational format and the odd use of “my love”

The idea of “the writer in you” and “write me well, my love” IS RIGHT UP MY ALLEY

I’m not sure how to explain it (I’m sure I can explain this) but I love the idea of putting emphasis on “the writer” and in the middle of the night I was so oddly touched by these lines

I’ve no other way to show the absolute emphasis at the end of the lines so I put “/“ marks instead because that’s what you do in poetry when you are quoting words that have a line break in between them

@ everyone ive seen in ur notes defending docs saying theyre always right or complaining abt shopping around; i have a great story that for once didnt happen to me but shows how just downright oblivious and unhelpful the majority weve experienced can be, and how much harm it can cause

so when my little bro was in kindergarten, he suddenly started walking on his tiptoes, absolutely everywhere, and would cry when he had to put his feet flat on the ground and absolutely hated wearing shoes. mom took his to his pcp, and he automatically went to 'some form of muscular dystrophy' solely because i have it, and wouldnt listen to my mom saying that she didnt think that was it because it was only in one leg. he talked over her and suggested going to the md doc i had, and that doc told mom he wanted to do a muscle biopsy, but to try the bone and joints department first before they performed it on someone so young, since back then it was a pretty painful process w a long healing time (i would know, i had one done around the same time).

this whole process of 'go to the doctors, suggest something drastic or do a test that comes back negative, get a new doctor because the old one refused to listen, repeat' continues for over a year, and she went to at least 11 doctors by this point with absolutely no answers. the 12th doctor, a specialist who id been seeing because he was researching my rare form of muscular dystrophy (and also the absolute BEST doctor ive had in 3 decades), took one look at him, tested the muscles in his legs against each other, stood up, and went "have you tried an xray?"

none of the 11 doctors before him had suggested it because they all automatically assumed it had something to do with his muscles or his nerves because of my moms and my own medical problems. she said we hadnt.

wanna know what it came back with?

a sewing needle, perfectly intact, sitting behind his kneecap, with a clear cut path through his muscles beneath it starting from the bottom of his foot. we think he mightve stepped on it while exploring my grandmas sewing room without permission and just didnt feel it at the time.

he went into surgery a few days later. the surgeon said that it had managed to SNAP IN HALF between the xray and the surgery, and it was half a centimeter away from a large nerve that couldve permanently damaged his ability to use that leg at all if it had stabbed into it.

11 different doctors and 11 different test and almost a year and a half and none of them had thought to order a simple xray. he couldve spent the rest of his life with a useless leg because no one thought of an XRAY, even though my mom had suggested it MULTIPLE TIMES

Also what the fuck whether something is unilateral or bilateral is supposed to be one of those things you sit up and pay attention to specifically because of situations like this - unilateral symptoms make non-systemic causes more likely, and you should rule out injury first.

i find meditating quite helpful when i'm stressed, especially if it's from overthinking! or i'd journal or rant with a close friend, sleeping helps too :) if you ever feel stressed, i hope you'd consider trying these if you haven't before and i hope it helps 💖 have a lovely day/night saint 🥰 you're doing great 🤩💞
