#fantasy high #gorgug thistlespring #riz gukgak #cw: body horror #tbh mostly for the goblin shark jaws lmao. the rest is like. fine I think #ngl drawing like snouts on a humanoid face is kinda awesome I enjoy it #it is kinda a little bit what I aimed for with how I drew riz at first but I pulled back on it #the elephant remix for gorgug I think actually feels a bit more like orc rather than half-orc #maybe the tusks wouldn't get the same lip closure in half-orcs. tho tbh saying that sharing human and orc heritages would result in #consistent physical traits across the board is already kind of a reach I think. I imagine there would be a Lot of variations #and well. at least in spyre we don't see non-human mixed heritages so far... Ive been in my dunmeshi brain lmao #getting to see ryoko kui's art of mixed humans (dunmeshi in-universe term not irl term) is like coming home. thank u ma'am #anyways uhhh I think. To cap off this pride month, a few of my queer headcanons for Carmen Sandiego (2019) characters!

I headcanon Player as a trans boy and Carmen as a trans woman! I also definitely think Carmen's sapphic but I don't have a more specific identity in mind for her.

Julia is a lesbian ofc. Her shirt is inspired by this retro lesbian shirt! If I had seen it before inking I would have made it an actual shirt with a collar and all but alas I saw it too late.

And I headcanon Devineaux as a trans man. His jacket was heavily based on this vintage jacket, obviously with the colors reworked. That's his new lucky coat probably.

(I have headcanons for other characters but since they're less fixed I won't talk about them here)

ive been following you for years and recently came back to tumblr, i cant believe you use clip studio! i always wanted photoshop be able to recreate the way your drawings felt. will it be alright if you share your process on clip studio and brushes you use?

Hi anon, Welcome back!! I used photoshop till they started doing subscriptions. 3+ years ago my photoshop CS6 stop working correctly so I switched to clip. I imported my fav photoshop default brush into clip and it feels almost like the same program to me now. I have some old drawing tutorials in this tag And some speed paints in this tag~!

#Encourage ppl to use clip #it's cheap and similar #my gf may or may not have pirated phtoslop cs6 that works on our computer #and i might still use that too #mostly for setting up cmyk print files #angy i spent like 200+ dollars on fodoshop 100 years ago #and now can't use the legit legal version at all #bc it's so buggy #not art #tutorial ref #anon

toyhouse is very funny to me because sometimes you will find someone who is selling an adoptable that is just. a licensed character. based on a major, recognizable property.

for the record i don't have any moral disagreement with this, and in fact in some ways support it; i am just also tickled by the idea of buying someone else's on-base goth version of stitch. it's just inherently very funny to me, for reasons that are very difficult to fully articulate.
