#i'm alive. simply being chewed upon by multiple things#work is more stressful than i'd like it to be. for instance i'm hoping that i submitted my time off notification for tomorrow correctly#because otherwise it might read as a no call no show and i would . like to continue having a job#now to be fair. i do have it on the system that i requested it at the beginning of the month and i emailed my supervisor about it last week#so even if i didn't submit it correctly i'm likely in the clear#but nonetheless. i also got a firm talking-to the other day and now i am on ✨thin ice✨ for dicking around too much#because they track ur idle time at my work (computer) and mine was Quite High so my supervisor was like man what the hell is this#but even though she was kind of baffled at me spending so much time dicking around#she couldn't even really be all that mad in the end because i'm still doing good numbers and have made no (zero) mistakes#so she was just like. it's kind of impressive that your numbers look this good when you literally have 50% idle time#so she goes imagine what you could do if you weren't wasting so much time#and yeah i can whip out some Really Good Numbrers when i put the effort in.#so the problem is not my numbers it's just that i'm not spending long enough doing my tasks for the day#but i don't want to drag out those tasks intentionally so i've just been upping my own standards/goals#as much as i hate giving any more of my brain power than is necessary to giant corporations#it's still easy to feel smug after you get Talked To and then immediately turn around and show off#like yeah i coulda been doing this good the whole time. literally pulling up by 20 points. i just didn't want to.#trying to keep everyone's expectations low but accidentally toed the line of um. not working enough to keep my job#...anyway. hey so do you think wtv keiko had to deal with growing up with yusuke could be considered a type of parentification
#god chapters where barely anything happens except a character's realization about things can be hard ...#im writing another keiko pov chapter and it's hard because well!!#keiko was never really a main focus in the series and as time goes on she gets even less of a focus so i have to fill in these spots#in her personality and views that aren't really explored. im taking a lot of liberties lets say#and idek if it's gonna read as in character cos of that#anyway im tryna say that like. pre series keiko was basically this presence in yusuke's life and he saw her as a pain but he cared#she was there to scold him and cajole him into going to his classes and she was his only friend#now we know atsuko was negligent and idk how involved the yukimuras were in his life but i feel like keiko#whether directly or indirectly was given this duty like you have to keep him outta trouble#you're smart you're mature he needs someone like you. this responsibility just kind of put on her before she can understand the weight of i#and she can't really comprehend that weight until it's abruptly taken from her. yusuke dies and there's no one to shepherd#i feel like keiko should get to be mad about this. this realization of the nature of their dynamic. keiko planning things around yusuke#who's never done that in his life. not because he's purposely being thoughtless but bc he was never the one to have to plan#to think about what their future looks like. he just kinda drifted along and keiko tried to do damage control. it wasn't fair#yusuke is keeping secrets from her she is scared of high school and that he'll die again without her knowing why and it's unfair#so she should get to be mad also because girls getting to be mad is one of my favorite things 👍🏼#the realization that yusuke won't be lost without her so she shouldn't hinge her life on the expectation that he will be#she worries about yusuke a lot i think. especially after he comes back from the dead. and i think kuwa's presence would help ease that#dread in her heart. it doesn't have to be just me. there's someone who can be there with him always and it doesn't have to be me#the guilty relief of not having to be the sacrifice. but kuwa doesn't mind so maybe it's okay this way#idk just rambles about my fic while i puzzle out how to word it#character analysis#yukimura keiko#yu yu hakusho

So... I hadn't checked for a while cause I knew the government was covering my $0 a month income ass with the SAVE program (which I've since learned republicans have been suing to put a stop to and federal judges have frozen which... thanks guys)
Anyway, before that happened they must have paid off my loans cause... I mean... I cut everything even remotely identifiable out there, but just look... paid in full, $0.00 balance!
So... thank Biden, thanks Harris... you actually did what you said you would
That's a huge weight off me. I mean, I was in forbearance (or whatever the one is where you tell the loan company you've got $0 in income) for a long time (which I learned probably had kind of screwed me over with the old rules) but... this way I don't have to worry that if I ever get on my feet I'll suddenly be slammed by student loans
This means I get to focus on making things better for myself by doing stuff to work on my house so it holds heat better and so my backdoor has a deck instead of a 5 foot dead drop into the basement stairwell
Really fucking wish these student loan repayments wouldn't keep getting blocked by judges, like sorry, now that mine's been paid off I still want the program even though I got mine... I want everyone else to get theirs too

deposited a whole bunch of rolled coins at the bank and I got $69 (nice)
#shhh sharkie#I rolled them too full so I got more than I was expecting which is already fantastic#and then the teller told me my total was $69 and it was so hard not to laugh#and I’ll potentially be getting more cause the line was growing behind me so she just got the quarters mostly fixed#she’s gonna count them later and deposit it in my account hell yeah#anyway my actual bank account is so fucked right now and it’s stressing me out so much#my dad keeps taking money from me and I want to scream#cause I only just found out and now i have to go back and tally like everything he’s taken so I know exactly what he owes me#like I thought a lot of my money troubles were my own fault and some of them truly are#but when he’s been taking at least $100 (usually more) per paycheck since who knows when#yeah that starts to add up!!!!!!!

There is an annoying lack of cosmos above level 10 on the map right now. But on a plus side, I ran into a 140 female yi ling!
Kel was just getting on at the time so she grabbed the trap and supplies and brought them over, then I got my turn at being bait. It went really well this time and she got knocked out in no time, and we had a couple kibble left from the last event so she tamed up super fast. We got her set up with Trouble, and before I logged off we'd gotten one good egg!
Baby yi lings are. The most. RIDICULOUS things ever. XD
Kel took the baby, we left them breeding so hopefully tomorrow we'll have another for me (or maybe even a breeding pair *crosses fingers*).
And we finally got back to the trench! Tyra and Kel's Mercury are really well-leveled now and with the mate boost they handled everything down there no problem. We had to clear out the entire trench of bad eggs, then worked our way back to the start and found a 140 egg, decided to go through a second time and about halfway through we got a 175!!
I convinced Kel to keep going so we cleared out a few more baby eggs, we'd almost reached the end again and... I found a 170! And they'll be a breeding pair once they're hatched and raised, we left them to incubate in our egg collector and we'll get them grown tomorrow. \o/
And to top off the night, I finally settled on a hat for Tassel. She looks perfect now. XD
