#cradily#ohhh i had some good angles for this one. but this one got all the votes but two#long#never thought i'd be givin that title to anything but snakes but here i am givin' it to fish and this thing#which is NOT a flower. i was told. last time 'round#though someone said “heartless lookin' ass” which i wholeheartedly agree with#i still need to finish like. all of kingdom hearts#my hope is to play through Every single kingdom hearts game. all of them. in order#so far i've done kingdom hearts and chain of memories. next up on my list is 358/2 days#i'm rather passionate about the concept of doing this but. just haven't gotten around to it. i've been playing other games#like i finished nier automata at the beginning of this year. liked that and decided to check out nier replicant#liked that game even more. and then went. wow. i want to play more nier games#found out the only other nier game‚ nier reincarnation#is a fucking. mobile game?? i guess?? and i was like ok what the fuck ever#and now i'm done with nier and i've moved onto red dead redemption 2. which is another one of those like#super duper popular games i've managed to learn nothing about#back here two weeks ago when i'm writing these tags i've only put like. two hours into it. i just barely got up to the new camp place#horseshoe whatever. i unlocked shaving. that bit#weird game for sure. especially coming right off the back of fucking. nier replicant#which is a game with talking books and magic spells and anime boys and air combos#to. red dead redemption 2. a video game about. a very slow-moving white guy who has to do a 5-second animation to loot a corpse#interesting switch but i'm here for it so far. i can definitely tell rdr2 is gonna be a sloooooow burn#problem is if i don't finish it by the time monster hunter wilds comes out#it's getting absolutely dropped#which. is probably gonna happen. sorry rdr2#this is not about pokémon. check it out??? cradily???

I don't want to so I won't lol#I can tag my original I guess :P#Mama Oz#She's based on this absolutely ridiculous and darling object I found at the same place I got my new-to-me video games haha#So apparently in the 60s this specific type of - magazine rack? in the shape of a kangaroo?? was made??#Ridiculous. So ostentatious. I fell in love immediately and had to make her into a Parapluesch#Like as soon as I laid eyes on her standing there I was like ''Oh you're from Die Anstalt'' - Instantly started filling in her backstory#Mama Oz's deal is your classic Stages of Grief - in her case from losing a child#Since she's a plush she never had an actual baby but she lost Her Child if you get me - she stopped being played with#And so she projects that grief onto others and adopts them in an attempt to get Her Child back#Except if this new relationship isn't within that framework then she rejects it and goes to the next one#She doesn't really realize that she's inconveniencing them by trying to adopt them and limiting herself from forming lasting connections#Not allowing change or growth - stagnating and trying to reclaim something lost#One of my favourite parts of Die Anstalt is that each of them is shown to have flaws#They still need and are deserving of help! But their uglier symptoms aren't shied away from#Dolly and Lilo use self-harm as a coping mechanism#Sly is shown to seek out the high at times and be short and destructive#Dub takes pride in his overwork#Kroko is surly and prickly#Don't even get me started on Dr. Wood lol#So it's fun to imagine what Mama Oz would be doing to - even by accident! - harm herself or others#The whole point of helping them is for them to become their best most comfortable selves :D#I also think what's especially funny is that I've been Meaning to make a Parapluesch OC for /years/ now#I always planned for it to be a Gender Dysphoria diagnosis since that's in the DSM and I had a design and route planned and everything#No. Kangaroo magazine rack. there is some symbolism iv never considered in that one episod of pt5 where zenigata rescues fujiko before she kills lupin
#there are many timelines and variations in lupin as a serie so that every ship could work#in my own prefered timeline lupin finally gets the hint that fujiko plays him like a fiddle#to me she does like him but he is an instrument to her#she is cold hearted and calculating and always thinking about relationships in terms of profit#i got some ideas abt her background that justify this. essentially she kills the detective that is after her and with that kills#the soft part of her that she couldnt control before#eventually and despite his affection lupin gives up the objectifications and the desires he projects onto fujiko#whom uses his delusions like a master tbh#thus allowing himself to consider zenigata. he plays with zenigata the way fujiko plays with him#hes just not as calculating. he feels pity and remorse where fujiko doesnt#he finds the thrills and the doubts and the lack of trust and the risk of betrayal in zenigata. the things that he loves the most#he isnt about stability. he thrives in the unknown. he loves that zenigata could backstab him and does so sometimes#and in that lack of stabilty some form of stability builds up. there is familiarity#and most importantly there are rare times when they can put the game aside and just chill#just enough to gather the energy to go back to trying to kill each other#plus zenigata pampers him during those breaks and he loves that#he acts with carelessness but he does care. in that regard he looses to fujiko#at least thats how she sees it. he doesnt see caring as a flaw#and zenigata is so sweet. he really is. and lupin loves to stirr up the crazy in him#fucking loonies the both of them#so in essence zenigata doesnt really 'save' him from fujiko but he becomes lupins new favourite toy to throw around#fujiko is only upset that because of that ugly looser of a detective her grip on lupin is loosening#she does find ways to use that newly developed affection luzeni has to her advantage thou#lupin is still her instrument she just drags zenigata along now#fujiko is such a good and interesting character and deserves so much better honestly#despite my love for TWCFM i wish there was another serie centralized around her where her ruthlessness is examined#and her cunning is studied. and the proper law enforcement she should face the same way lupin does#shes like a million times smarter and more ressourceful than him. steals much more. embezzles. manipulate#lupin is just a small time pickpocket next to her. she isnt about stealing a painting shes about emptying the pockets of the richest men in#the world. her goals are much more ambitious

the bad news is i'm still doing this. the good news is that playing brilliant diamond saps all desire i have to play pokemon, so i'm expecting to be back to drawing ocs again within the next few days
#i need a text post tag#pokemon#tempted to try the stupid brilliant tier contest again because it takes so much effort to get through the BDSP E4 refights#like ohhh maybe two champion stickers is enough to make up for my bad rhythm game playing... but i know i'm lying to myself#“ribbon hell�� btw is 'putting a bunch of miscellaneous ribbons onto around 100 or so of my favorite pokemon'#so i have to keep carting them from switch game to switch game and feeding them ice cream for the gourmet mark and beating the E4 over agai#i'm using the 'needing to beat cynthia for stickers 20 times' as an excuse to put sinnoh champ ribbons on guys#but this is how i realized that having level 80-100 pokemon to fight with isn't by any means a guaranteed win#so now i have to fucking. farm money from the rich old people next to mr backlots mansion using the VS seeker#so i can buy more revives and max potions. so i can suffer through the e4 AGAIN with like 3 new pokemon each time#because if i have too few Proven Champs i'll just get the floor wiped with me#i got spoiled by SV's beautiful 'you can usually win by bringing one very strong white kyurem with ice beam and choice scarf' tournament

Apparently I can meet my goal of roughly 400,000 words in 6 months if I just somehow write at least 2,200 words a day ghbjh... Almost 2,500 today... huzzah...
#Definitely not going to be able to stick with it just due to like... being realistic about my energy levels and etc. ESPECIALLY as we#enter the Evil Summer and it becomes hot all the time. But... one can attempt.. at least...#I'm also a very slow writer since I tend to re-read and edit while I write. and only move onto the next section once what I'm writing#seems okay. Which is easy for visual novel type stuff. since ''sections'' of a conversation are more clearly marked (like if you#have a menu option with 5 different dialogue choices. finish the character's response for choice 1 before moving onto 2. etc.)#Especially since when I'm done with a whole quest I always follow it up by playing through it and picking every option and making sure it#actually all works okay and etc. So I am already going to see it all a second time. Then I can go back and reorder a few words or remove#certain sentences that don't sound natural when I read them out loud (I always read it all outloud to myself since it is... just peple#talking.. it should sound like natural dialogue in their voice. etc). But my ''first draft'' is kind of not as first drafty since I pause t#edit a lot as I go along. So it also takes longer probably than it would take other people who I think treat a first draft as more#of a loose guideline or something. AANYWAY...#80F in my bedroom right now again... huzzah... I did end up finishing and recording that sims build video before the heat wave (or is#it really a heat wave if it's just summer..?? lol) came in.. but now... augh.. the editing... plus the costume photos and all else... Much#to do as always.. Often such a long todo list.. a giant scroll hung upon the walls of the evil hermit wizard tower..#Anyhow.. Yes I love to think#about elves and fictional universe lore. but no.. I pretend I do not see it. Does not exist to me actually. ghgj.. OHH also took som#cool pictures of flowers in the garden section of a store and I wanted to do like.. character designs based on the colors of the flowers o#something. but that might just be another unnecessary project to add to the pile.. I want to commit to the daunting task of dyeing my#hair again some time.. hrm.. this is all of the updates I can think of. I've just realized I haven't posted shit since Friday and that's WILD LMFAO I HAVE BEEN SO STRESSED
Firstly, they accepted my offer and that's EXCITING!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOO!!! I close on the 7th!!!!!
But then everything went to hell and I didn't pass the inspection for the house I'm selling so I had to figure all that with negotiations and reevaluating my funds ON TOP OF me fucking up all my scheduled shit at work and having to redo it all last minute ALL THE WHILE I also scheduled a really important medical appointment with the wrong nurse and now I have to rush to cover!!!!!!!!!
I THINK it's finally over now!!! (At least being so behind at work is definitely over that was what was stressing me out the most lol)

btw after four years i finally finished all data from my iberian-inspired fakemon region. if you even care
#i might start ybraposting again soon who knows#i also have this crave to do pixel art and actually make maps and try to make this a game but i dunno how much this crave will last tbh#i made pixelart back in the day when i was in deviantart so. it's been a while#idk let's see what happens#anyways now that i have the final product#i can say. my fake region is ybra#where pokémon rose and carnation take place (very funny that they are named after the two last canon professors)#yes i know clavell isn't a professor but you know what i mean#i believe i started working on this during gen vii so. lol#anyways. we have ybra as the main region#BUT#there will be three dlcs after you complete the main story#yes three!!! honestly there were only two until i realized i left out a big part of iberia in my original plan for ybra for some reason#and these past days i've been making a region inspired by the kitakami dlc hehe#anyways onto the three dlcs. they are.#1) the glory of ossana. this takes you to ossana. based on southern france aka occitania aka whatever is between kalos and ybra#you have 5 gyms to beat here all thematic (for example there's one specialized on starters and the last one is specialized on legendaries)#of course being next to kalos there'll be references to it. the pokedex has pokemon both from ybra and kalos. and you'll get a new rival#for this region: serena - champion of kalos#also after beating the gym leaders you might get to battle a certain giant man that's 3000+ years old#2) the islands of the muses. this wouldn't make sense if you don't know the main story of the games. but basically throughout the game#you encounter these girls call the muses that protect the access to this dangerous evil pokemon#well. in this dlc you'll visit the homeland#based on the canary islands. each muse has an island associated to them (kinda. cause there's 7 islands)#there's also a mythical pokemon encountered in each territory of the muse and a mini storyline dedicated to it#also these islands are open world!!! and each island has its own pokedex#after beating all the muses and completing all their quests you'll be able to fight mnemosyne their mother and (spoiler) previous champion#3) (the new one!!!!) mysteries of lurmamua. you'll travel to this secluded land called lurmamua based on euskal herria when these mysteries#have been happening just as the region is preparing for an international film festival that is sure to attract tons of celebrities#from all over the world!!!
