just out of curiosity I saved all of my worldbuilding slideshows as plain text then copied the text into a text editor that actually has a word count function, and it was too long to even put in one document without getting an error gfhvhvh... total is 323,390, and this doesn’t count the additional ones I’m not done with yet but am waiting on... these are just the like 5 slideshows I’m working on turning into videos... e v i l

If you like the Wild deaging trope, this one is for you. If you like Flora and Wild having the most adorably protective and mildly codependent relationship, this one is for you. If you feel like reading something so cute you'll still be grinning hours later, this one is absolutely for you!

The Wondrous Sword of Legend by @imperialkatwala, @polynomialpandemic

If you like downfall duo, THIS ONE IS FOR YOU. The banter is excellent, the emotions feel real, and the catharsis is very heartwarming. If you've ever wanted to see sword spirit Legend, I am on my knees begging you to read this fic.

A Guide to Living (Again) by @cerame

I think I've read this fic at least five times now. If you like Shadow, this one is for you. If you like thinking about the Chain's Dark equivalents, this one is for you. Each character in this story is entirely three dimensional (despite being shadows 😂) - and it contains, probably hands down, my favourite characterisation of Dink I've ever read.

Language Barriers by Kastaborous

If you've ever wondered what a more realistic depiction of the language drift between the boy's eras would look like, look no further. If you're looking for linguaphile Wild, look no further! This fic is stunning in its detail and lore, and the reveal moment slaps.

Level One by LightBlueScrubs

If you like modern AUs, this one is for you! If you like gripping detail and a fully fleshed out world so harrowing and real that you are transported into the story, this one is for you! If you like angst, if you like following characters as they go through tough times together, if you like hospital settings, this one is destined for you.

My friends like to joke that this fic is the Sky Bible (Skyble). It well deserves that title for its characterisation alone, yet it also contains top tier character dynamics and terrific hurt/comfort. This fic changed my perspective on Sky forever. Go read it.

If you like dungeon crawls and adventure, this fic is for you. If you like Sky angst coupled with the Chain's agonising worry for him, this fic is for you! If you like Demise's Curse reveals, you have found a masterpiece!

i think when i read the picture of dorian grey i got way too into trying to understand and form a defensible argument for the philosophy in it because i was very much in my debate team reads the stanford encyclopedia of psychology for fun phase. i mean obviously hedonism is an interesting ideology and the book does talk about it a lot, but i think the prime appeal of the book and why it's a classic is not the philosophy whatsoever it's definitely the drama and the art discussion, and i was so caught up on keeping notes on hedonism that i kind of neglected to pay attention to the characters in the literal and not subtextual sense until the tail end of the novel.

Closed, plotted starter for @goodheartedfool (Nat)

It hurts. All of it hurts. His whole being, his whole existence, like he's made of a wildfire burning within himself. There was nothing first - and now there's too much all at once, smells and sounds and feelings that overwhelm him. The image in front of his eyes is dark; However, it changes color every now and then, as if a bright light is held above him, drilling itself through his closed eyelids.

Everything sounds like as if he's got fabric stuck inside his ears; Memories pop up inside his mind, memories of how he fought the elite soldiers that were sent after him to hunt him down and end his pityful life. How he managed to steal a shuttle, managed to launch himself out into space with whatever strength had been left inside him still...

God, his head is killing him - it pulses rhythmically, each one sending spears through his skull, one after another. Does he have hands? Legs? He tries to flex his fingers, unsure whether he succeeds or not - but he hears foreign voices surrounding him, and then someone is touching---

No, don't touch me, he thinks - his body jerks as he tries to get away, but his muscles feel like they're made of pure lead. Ka'anh grunts, bares his teeth, eyes squeezed shut as he tries to make his arms move in the way he wants them to - his left wrist collides with something, which shatters moments later, but his right arm doesn't want to cooperate, it seems.

He needs to open his eyes, he needs to see - so he tries, gasping as he blinks. The image he perceives is unfocused, blurry, weirdly stretched on the edges. There's just white, white and white, a few blops of pink and red, something blue, he supposes, but besides that...

"Bloi cou froiene icpsheei!" (Don't touch me!), he manages to spit out between his teeth, trying to pull, to kick, to push - someone shouts something in a foreign language he does not understand, and he can feel hands on himself; He knows the sensation of fingers digging into his back, his sides, his shoulders and thighs, trying to keep him down, to keep him from moving.

"Achbl frafr bleth eiqe - bloi cou froiene icpsheei!" (I will kill you - don't touch me!)

His growl is a warning, dangerous and deep, yet he's out of control and his vision is still blurry. It angers him, fueled by ice-cold fear, and once again Ka'anh kicks and punches with whatever he can utilize of his body---

Then, he falls - and collides with the hard, merciless ground like he's made of rock instead of bones and tissue. His head knocks against the flat surface, which makes him moan out in pain; He feels dizzy, his head is still killing him, and he squeezes his eyes shut before opening them again, trying to finally get a clear picture of whatever surrounds him...

He spots a pair of blurry legs - at least he supposes he does - and huffs out a breath from between his teeth as he presses out a few more words: "---Wi eiqe!" (Fuck you).

if you ever want to talk to me btw i really actually do love talking to people, i just am notoriously bad at contacting people first cause if i dont have anything going on that i think the other person would enjoy talking about i liek. Just wont talk to people i worry so much about wasting others' time, and i know a lot of people have told me they really hate "small talk" like me asking about their day.. but i sincerely adore when people just talk and talk and talk to me even if it's about things i have no clue what it's about... kisses... kisses...
