i never drawed a cowboy in my life, i struggled a lot with the hats and the outfits lol

His name is Farady, but I'm not sure if you read this the same way as I do....... (It's like an "e" on the end, not a Faraday or something)

He's a nomad always getting into trouble!!

I haven't come up with a background for him yet, but I know for sure that he is definitely not connected to the main lore of game

I tried to redesign him, and while I like the palette, I'm still not happy with the overall design...

day 19+20: caelum and katsuo

caelum is a travelling busker, a violinist who left home and his adoptive luthier father, saying he would come home after he made a name for himself in the world as a performer. he is a peppy and terribly impulsive traveller who is prone to disappearing for long periods of time (on account of his travelling, you see). he also really loves tailoring and also bees, and especially loves to perform ragtime tunes on his violin for some reason.

katsuo is a hylotl prince who left home under the guise of keeping an eye on his impulsive friend caelum, but in truth it was because he sought to turn away from the expectations of royalty and nobility. he resents his nobility, and tries a little bit too hard to be "normal" and to blend in, trying to dress and act like he knows nothing of the royal life. also he has a terribly obvious crush on caelum.

i read this fanfic again and now i have brainrot, again (in a good way)

this is Silas Louvel, from @deadgonegirl starbound fanfic "walk the line" (go check it out if youre into starbound and good characters!!!)

This took a long time to finish bc Im not really used to do such realistic designs, especially since I didnt have any visual reference to go off. When I started doing the initial sketches for his face it kinda icked me after seeing it for so long so I dropped the drawing for months and only came back to it because I re-read the fanfic

For some reason Silas reminded me a lot of Hwei from League of Legends, so I based some of his features for Silas' design. I guess it was because theyre both gloomy and they share similar vibes in ways I cannot explain (? I hope the inspiration is not too obvious

Also the other reason why this took so long to finish is because I kept adding more and coming up with more ideas to draw (? probably after I design rafflesia ill pick up those ideas again

Anyways, deadgonegirl if youre reading this I hope you liked my interpretation of silas appearance! I hope I made him justice or that at least its a bit similar of how you pictured him to be
