So this is Tumblr. Cool. Can people see this? If you’re seeing this, hi, come by my opera house, yes it is mine, I’ve lived there longer than everyone else so it is mine. It honestly got a bit boring listening to Carlotta What’s-Her-Name continue to absolutely murder any type of operatic symphony with her harsh voice, so I’m on here now after extensive Google searching on what I can do on this bad boy.

Uh I’m he/him. My name’s Erik but nobody really calls me that anymore, and the only reason I’m letting people here say it is because I honestly think that like 2 people will see this post anyway, or at least that’s what I originally thought.

This will be a learning experience for me anyhow, and perhaps I can get new ideas for the things I write on here. The Internet is a crazy place (and so are my adventures; I’ve found out through this that there are many versions of me, including @erikaskblog. I am down to interact with anyone, but no NSFW please— also, I am bisexual. My other friends include Christine, naturally, @eddiekaspbrak-official and his Losers Club from an apparent “other world”, as well as my best friends, @totally-penelope-and-not-a-siren—that’s Calliope, a siren with a sense of humor who keeps me on my toes, and a former would-be love of mine who I sometimes mentor, @maggiemelodies09. Maggie does have a boyfriend now— she bears such a strong resemblance to dear Christine and I will cheer for anyone who supports her kindness, so said boyfriend shall one day be my friend as well. @daydreamingofafairytale is my third best friend— oh, I am so lucky to have even dreamt of this! You’ll like Nour; everyone does. I give out music lessons to a few people now, attempting to make it less romantically exclusive, including Nour. However, we usually use those lessons to make each other laugh— friends bring light to my darkness and I finally feel like a man now, not a monster. Then there is my muse and a non-singing angel who I suppose might be called a “boyfriend”, @aurelio-the-propmaster. I would go on.. but if I risk becoming “obsessive” again, woe to the opera house, and my other friends have warned against it. Know if you see this, Aurelio— your angel loves you dearly. Also my other friend, @an-american-songbird-in-paris who knows Aurelio and who also composes. Him and I should one day collaborate.) No, I will not list all my “frenemies” or enemies, but I have them too. They are not welcome in my opera house.

If people do end up commenting on this, please do not go wild in the comments or bully each other. I’ve had enough of hearing people insult each other and call each other names for one lifetime, unless I have to do what I have to do. However, I have been made aware that some people are shockingly enough fans of me, even after seeing my face— I normally hate people seeing it, I attempt to shun it from my very being after all —and I will likely post pictures of myself on here in order to share the happenings of the opera house with the world. I would place the screen names of all said “phangirls” here, but hope instead they find this nonetheless. I appreciate you all caring for me. PLEASE come to my opera house, you all.

I am now over the fact that I cannot have Christine— the one of her versions that still talks to me, @angeliquedaae who is my dear friend and tutee— still, thanks to her undying kindness to me. Occasionally we (hilariously) reenact scenes from our shared past, and I find it a form of recreation. I endeavor to focus my attention on other loves (not just Aurelio but for my other friends here) instead but cannot help caring for her if only in a strictly platonic yet protective manner— I care too much about my friends, hence why I have placed their usernames here. They are wonderful people.

Got my hands on the script of Anatomy of a Fall, and I couldn't help but compare it with some scenes from the movie because that's how deep I am rn :'D Anyway, here are some of my finds and things I personally enjoyed. I'm sure there are more things to dig out but these are what I wanted to share with the world. The order of my finds will be chronological, for the most part, but keep in mind that sometimes, some scenes were edited to show up later, or earlier than originally intended. Spoilers for the whole movie obviously so you've been warned!

Takes place when Vincent first visits Sandra to discuss Samuel's death. In the movie, Sandra stops Vincent and cuts him harshly, saying "STOP, I did not kill him". Vincent then says a line that I think is pretty iconic in the movie, a sarcastic : "That's not the point. Really". His line is much harsher than on the script, where he's a bit softer. "You don't need to tell me that" implies that he has some deep, loyal faith in Sandra, while "That's not the point" cuts any further discussion. He really doesn't wanna know if she actually did it. Comes from a wish to remain blind still, but with less innocence and a lot of denial. Oh, Vincent.

In the movie, his last line is way better imo, he says "No one's gonna believe that. I don't believe that." I like the emphasis on his opinion rather than the fleeting and impersonal "it's really hard to believe". Truly hits way harder and puts Vincent back in the position of a lawyer.

The rest will be under the cut because I think it's gonna be a wall of text I apologize guys...... This movie does things to my brain.

There's a scene that was cut where Vincent phones Nour while still at Sandra's, which I would have enjoyed a lot but I'll admit it's a bit filler-y. Doesn't add a lot and kinda cuts the serious tone of Sandra's confession, imo, as they discuss the judge's antics in a pretty comical manner. I just love Nour so I'm based......

Another, REALLY long scene that was cut where a medium comes into Sandra's house to feel Samuel's ghost and foreshadows Daniel poisoning Snoop with aspirin. I had a good laugh at that one, honestly. It feels pretty out of place with the tone of the movie, and the personality of the characters even... I can't picture Sandra calling a medium. I'm glad they removed it because the foreshadowing was unnecessary too. It's still interesting that they had planned it however.

This takes place after Vincent finds out about the tape. Interestingly, his whole line was cut after "before he died". In the movie, he never comments on Sandra's affairs/sexuality. He never really asks much about her life at all. He truly is blinded by his wish to shield himself from her inner demons, in order to maintain his undying loyalty towards her. To see what he wants of her...

Another scene that was completely cut (a flashback, I believe?) where Sandra makes Daniel pose for a german photographer to make some money, which Monica dislikes, and then they argue. I think it really frames her as too unsympathetic, so I'm also glad it was cut.

Okay, so now, here comes The Big Change. The scene where Vincent and Sandra drink together after the first trial was heavily altered, because its tone in the movie is pretty tense when compared with the lightheartedness of the script. In the script, they laugh and reminisce together about the past and even kiss at the end of the scene. In the movie, none of was I screenshot happens : instead of playing along with the 'firing Vincent' suggestion, the scene ends with Sandra scolding Vincent for judging her in his head. Vincent backs off and the scene ends. Another instance of him not pressing emotional depth to shield himself.

There are other scenes I liked (many that touch upon Sandra's books) but I'll stop there. Hope you'll enjoy that... I might draw some of these so stay tuned... This movie has absorbed my soul but it feels good to be alive, thank you Justine Triet.

Ahed Tamimi, 22, was detained overnight in Nabi Saleh, an army spokesperson confirmed to the AFP news agency. - Overall: harsh transitions, hate ladybugs voice, and a bit rushed, and I despised the ending was anticlimactic with ladybug, but overall for a miraculous movie was alright it has amazing animation

- They somehow made it cater for both the old and longtime fans and young and newbie fans good job (for the most part)

- I don’t have a rating since it’s a stand alone movie so I’m just gonna go cry in the corner until season 6 or more ladynoir

vance by @crazykissim ❤️ i love him. he's a "mattress on the floor and no decorations" gamer boy turned loving father, husband, and grandfather. we love the glow up. he has a twin brother, lance, who i also love. lance is a legend because he popped out hella kids with zoe patel (even though she CHEATED on him)

nour by @procrasimnation 💜 the al hibri save was the veryyyyyy first content i ever saw on simblr way back in the day in the TS3 era and i think i reread the story like five times because i loved the characters and their intricate relationships so much. i could really name all the cast as my favorites, but nour has a special place in my heart. he and his sweaters are very much missed 🫶
