watching current ep moments and i wish i liked bells hells more 💔 (/lh its fine) but they are lacking something that makes me personally Connect with them. they kind of just slip off of my brain after i see a clip of them (part of why im 50something eps behind. but mostly also i was busy the past year)

taking a second look at the way hazbin handled angel’s abuse, i don’t really think they handled it well. the most obvious glaring thing i can’t believe i missed was that there was no trigger/content warning at the start of the episode. literally what the hell. additionally the idea of singing a whole song about how you’re a ‘loser’ for being sexually assaulted and having self destructive coping mechanisms rubs me the wrong way. so yeah, just some thoughts. would love to hear some survivors’ inputs though.

There wouldn't be a dynamic.

Augus doesn't find peak alphas attractive. In fact most peak alphas don't find fellow peak alphas attractive (like Gary and Temsen, or Gary and Augus, there's no 'vibes' there at all - though I do think Temsen has had sex with peak alphas before).

Augus has zero interest in Gwyn, which was intentional. I wanted them to feel like a 'non-starter' - get them in a room, and Augus just won't like him, and not in a 'I'd like to punish him' way. Gwyn would find Augus pathetic and boring, a 'disappointment' to peak alphas, and Augus wouldn't feel the need to prove himself because he knows Gwyn is wrong, and then that's how that would end.

I was done with writing Augus and Gwyn for a while when I started the Underline series so I very intentionally emphasised the parts of their characters in a way that would make them not at all viable in the series. So while folks are welcome to daydream about it or even write fanfiction - the dynamic in the story would be like...non-existent.
