Okay, this is interesting

Sometimes I impress myself. I made for the very 1st time: black bean burgers! Very hearty, very filling, very healthy and a very fart filled afternoon. Sometimes you just have to blow it out your ass 💨. All in all, I needed less gluten free bread crumbs and it needed more salt and I should’ve have made the patties smaller in size. I smoked them at 375F. for approx.12-15 minutes on parchment paper, with a decoration of Traegers Veggie Rub. Ok so i have a question about Spotify,, if anyone else has noticed this problem pls let me know

I’m admittedly obsessive about music so I noticed right away when there was “new” Kajagoogoo singles…. That were blatantly NOT kajagoogoo. Nobody ever said anything, band clearly didn’t reform.. one day there were just new singles. All (5? I think?) songs were instrumental and vague, but very clearly not even the same style or vibe. It was removed within a month each time, but this has happened at least 3 times now.

My question is… has this been happening a lot? Or is it just someone fucking around with Kajagoogoo specifically?? And if so.. wtf? Lol

"Bursting the Bubble Between Good & Bad"

When we come into a new situation, in most cases we have some preconceptions and expectations about it. We imagine what the new experience will be, maybe even rehearse what we’ll say and project what someone else might say in return. Whether it’s going to work or meeting a Zen Master, we have expectations, some more grandiose than others.

When we encounter reality, the bubble of expectations is burst. We’re left standing on the ledge, maybe a tiger below and a killer behind, or something more benign than that, but still on the precipice of a new experience. It’s so new an experience that never in the history of the universe has this experience ever been experienced. 

With a mirror, white comes, white is reflected. Red comes, red is reflected. We can embrace this, rejecting nothing, or struggle against it because  reality doesn’t match the story we’ve invented, and we want that story to be true. Reality includes the suffering of others, which our story may not have recognized. Our own suffering exists, but maybe not in our story, and it’s something we try to hide from the mirror.

But reality has this nasty habit of coming out on top when pitted against a story, and this is something to reflect upon. We can observe our creation of a story, and not make good and bad out of having created it. We can embrace reality, reject noting, reflect everything, and do this not only for ourselves, but for the benefit of all beings. The direct experience of reality and helping others is our practice.

Errol hadn't been to see Jess with everything going on - Clayton leaving, the demon attack, the forest closure - and Errol, well, he'd hoped to rectify that. They'd seen one another around town, of course, but it wasn't the same. They hadn't sat and talked, had dinner, nothing.

Knocking on her front door, Errol waits, offerings in hand - new flowers for her table and a trinket Lillian had picked out, one he thought she'd like - hoping that groveling would make it all a bit smoother.

"HI Jessie," he says, grinning slightly at her. "'M I still invited in, or do I gotta go 'round back frough t' dog house." A humorous joke to only him, but humorous, all the same.

Silly - it's a pun that is also true, and I couldn't be prouder of Soregina for that. (I might add Eazy here too, but that's not really a nickname anymore)

Raspberry - makes me feel......... cherished. Warm. ...And a lot of other good things.

For once her future was both so open and so heavy at the same time.

But either way her Sywnlake days were numbered.

A jarring thought. Just as jarring as Jess appearing, but that woman really had a way of knowing when something was off with one of the employees here.
