If you are following along, you know I am on a crown of thorns (Euohorbia milii) kick over here. I have quite a few and showed you a very large one on my stories last week. There are also some very tiny ones that are a bit more manageable for a windowsill. Here is a picture of the different sizes of flowers 🌸 with a penny thrown in for size. The second is a penny next to a cluster of the bracts. These flower bracts can be less than 1/4" wide to 2" wide on my larger plants. I also have one with yellow flowers but it isn't blooming right now. These are amazing plants, spines and all. This is a large Euphorbia milii that I've had for many years- definitely more than 15. I don't know the cultivar name. It started out as a one foot plant and now is over 5 feet tall and about 3 feet or more around. The "flowers" 🌸 (bracts as the flowers are the small center area) were the size of a hydrangea flower when I bought the plant. I had never seen crown of thorn flowers that large! The plant has never produced a cluster of flowers that large again, but these individual flowers (bracts) are about 2" around. I love 💚 the color and the huge flowers. Do you have any crown of thorn plants?
