I've got quite a lot unfinished drawings in work but OH MY GOD Felix from The Outer Worlds is SO ADORABLE I have to draw him,,,

the "argos is part of the superhero team" thing is soooo funny, because it is so ridiculous and he looks so out of place and I'm sure it's super awkward for everyone involved and very difficult to explain. But it DOES make sense. And I totally believe it. It's just a really funny and awkward situation.

(I mean, what else is Ladybug going to do with him? Initiate battle with him (and by extension, Ryuko) to pry his miraculous from him? And then what? She seems to believe none of the miraculouses should be kept in the same place.... so who would she give it to? Whoever wields it will instantly learn that Adrien and Felix and Kagami are sentimonsters from a glance at their rings. Whoever wields it will automatically become privy to the horrors. Whoever wields it has the ability to murder her boyfriend in a split second if they choose to not value his life. Whoever wields it will have to be given a long ethics class on the treatment and value of sentimonsters and life etc etc etc.... a class that can only be meaningfully taught by like... felix himself?)

Who are the hostages still held by Hamas?

On October 7, 2023, 253 Israelis and foreign nationals were kidnapped to Gaza by Hamas and gazan civilians. Since then, 105 were released in a prisioner exchange deal, 4 were released by Hamas and 3 were rescued.

However, 60 remain in captivity [as of 02/09/24] (4 of those were kidnapped prior to 2023). A recent investigation has concluded that more than a fifth of the hostages are dead and the fate of some other hostages remains unknown. This video explains how doctors determine which hostages are dead, based on the nature of their injury and by analyising footage and the victims' last phone calls. Additionally, during the operation in Gaza, the IDF has recovered the bodies of a few victims and returned to their families for burial.

Since I couldn't find this all in one place, I've compiled a list of: 1) hostages who are presumed alive; 2) hostaged whose death has been reported/confirmed; 3) hostages who were released or rescued. In the group of hostages presumed to be alive who haven't been released, the youngest is 1-year-old Kfir Bibas and the oldest hostage is Iraqi-born 85-year old Shlomo Mansour.

As we learn more information, I'll continue to update this post.

They need to come back home. I'm hoping for more successful rescue operations soon. Keep them in your thoughts.

This drives me up a WALL. Jason just says the quiet part out loud and no one corrects him. Like... this takes place during the Ric arc, Dick has AMNESIA, and they basically kicked him out of the family for it! You can argue that everyone, especially Jason, is emotionally volatile bc of how they just lost Alfred and are grieving, but Dick seriously doesn't deserve to be treated like this.

Actually, how many times has he been kicked out of the family, or rejected/treated like an outsider by them?? From what i can remember, Dick was: fired from Robin twice, ran away at least twice, kicked out of the manor twice, was treated like shit during the entire n52 especially during Spyral, then the Ric arc where he was kicked out AGAIN, not to mention the many times he's been left uninformed (Jasons adoption, becoming Robin, then death and funeral, not being told about the Harold Allnut guy moving into the batcave, not knowing Bruce tried to adopt Tim, there's probably more examples lbr).

Like, Jesus, no wonder Dick doesn't seem to think his place in the family is guaranteed. Because it kinda isn't?? Idk for being the supposed 'golden boy' he's really not treated like it

I'm posting late because it's my blog and I can do what I want. I have three things for you today. First; a quick, silly little doodle.

Second, the shading practice I accidentally deleted and then got too embarrassed to repost. (Why I didn't just do so and explain my mistake, I dunno)

And third! The thing I mentioned in my previous post announcing that my health decided to do a kick-flip off a one-eighty pipe and miss the landing. Ladies and gentleman (and things in between and not): one goofy bastard.

(Just look at that horrid haircut!) This fellow does not have a name because he is not conscious; he's what happens when my persona accidentally crash lands into another person and does a really fancy thing called "soul melding" (which is an equally fancy way of saying the two do a life-threatening fusion)

And on this not-so-silly occasion, @lizaisdrawing's goober, Wallace was the unfortunate casualty(??) because idk, I thought it'd be fun. (And it was/is). Whose Bane? I'll tell you later.

Like I said before; I wanted to draw more than this, but by the time I had finished, I got really sick and my body felt like hell. I'll definitely try to draw more soon. Especially since I need a much-needed break from drawing people semi-realistically for Threaded Sight.

Also, that's why the notes are at the bottom, so I don't forget because my memory is bad. (I'm just imagining Sylvia putting a full-body mirror on the left side so she can scold Wallace for whatever he did.)

I just love how lou talks about practicing body neutrality in the felix magazine interview. like, from my experience it's actually really fucking hard to exist in your body once it's changed, and sometimes it's hard to see it in a positive light (not to mention it often feels like people want to force you to feel good about it now that it's different unlike before).

the way he talks about focusing on feeling calm and on things like movement makes me feel so... seen I guess.
