Hey I'm insane and started a new comic project. It was supposed to be a short side comic for my main comic but then I lost control and now there's so much lore.

Anyways here's a show standard chart for wargs. I had to resize this image three times because it's 9500x8200 pixels and 65.7MB. This took me like a week to make because I kept having to adjust and readjust things. Nightmare. You might have to click and drag it into a new tab to see the full text.

I've always loved those color charts for show horses/dogs/etc. and I wanted to make one for wargs. They were domesticated by orcs and are in the suborder Feliformia, in the family Leucrotidae. Their genus name, Leucrocotta, is the name of mythical animal from India and Aethiopia.

I based them on entelodonts (namely Daedon), spotted hyenas, and warthogs. Most of their colors and patterns are inspired by horses and cattle but a lot are modeled after dogs, and there are some rat and cat colors/patterns too. The only one not based on any animal is the half pattern. If you want to know what a specific color/pattern is based on let me know!
