Hello Cast! I'm dropping into your inbox! :D I would like to ask you what is the feature you find most attractive in Scratch (appearance or personality)
Also I would like to ask what you five favourite textures are!
I hope you have a wonderful day because you deserve it! 😊
aaa thank you so much for the ask, benny! really appreciate the consideration
as for what i consider scratch's most attractive feature...is it cheating to say his voice? something about how dana acts him REALLY sells the character for me, how he alternates between a casual, low tone and more energetic, higher octaves. I DUNNO it's hard to put into words, i just know i love just sitting and listening to him talk. it's very pleasant.
physically, either his teeth or the general shape of his body. i'm a sucker for pointy teeth and his body shape is just perfect. chunky lil square guy.
personality, probably the fact he isn't nice by inclination, but because he actively chooses to do good things. that's always been a very compelling character trait to me. i always worry i'm not as good a person as i could be, so...i find characters that are overall surly, grumpy, and rude like he is who elect to show others kindness really aspirational.
5 favorite textures, lemme think! i like stuff that's crunchy, half-frozen snow or chips or things like that. smooth and velvety is nice. squishy in a bouncy way that's nice to pat the palm of my hand on, BIG fan of that, i can sit and squish things like that repeatedly for a while. sequins that you can run your hands over to flip them so the pattern switches colors are great. UHH last one. mm...gooey stuff you can squish between your hands without it fully sticking, i get annoyed if i get too much stuff all over my hands.
thanks again, it was nice to stop and think a bit about these questions.

With You Always Summary: An average day of high school with MC...and the seven pact manifestations that haunt their vision. FT. Teen! MC TW: Bullying
The Five Times Mammon Did Something For The Others: Summary: ( And the one time the others did something for him.)  Without his brothers even realizing it, Mammon has gone out of his way time and time again to make sure that they are safe, happy, and healthy, and yet no one ever seems to do the same for him. Hell, no one even thanks him for it.
It’s Got To Be Me: Summary: The brothers and MC wake up in a room with no exits or furniture. Only a pressure platform in a corner and a sign that reads "All of you may leave, when you choose one who will stay." I Burn For You Summary:  Since MC's arrival, Lucifer and them have never fully gotten along. There was always a large, unknown and undiscussed tension between them and they were fine to keep it that way. But when MC's security in the Devildom is threatened by both the angels and the nobility of the Devildom itself, everything changes. As a ruse to persuade the celestial realm, MC and Lucifer wed. After the ceremony, they finally talk about the unacknowledged feelings burning inside of both of them.
The Facade of the Suitor: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7 to be written  Summary: MC catches the eye of Lady Harlow, a higher demoness who has had a small feud with the brothers for centuries. Double Vision Summary: It's the night before the first major test of the RAD school year, and MC has been holed up in their room all day. The brothers are concerned and go to check in on them, but they notice something different - MC is wearing glasses  CW: Asmo being Asmo/Suggestive
Please Be The Flu Summary: MC hasn't been feeling too well, making Beel grow extremely concerned. After getting confirmation from Simeon that MC isn't sick at all, but rather pregnant, the two work together to keep it a secret from the baby's father. CW: Vomiting, This fic does have some SUGGESTIVE content. It's not graphic by any means, but just a heads up.
Never Letting You Go Summary: After running into a masked Lucifer, you did not escape. He caught you. They caught you. When you come through, the brothers, acting under the malicious cursed masks that they wear, are discussing just what they ought to do with you and your sparkling soul. What's a defenseless little human to do CW: Yandere behaviours, mentions of murder, cannibalism, violence/gore. This one is DARK guys. Please be careful while reading and be sure to practice self-care/awareness before, during, and after reading.
Deaf!MC AU
Devildom in Silence: Part 1, Part 2 Summary:  One minute MC was sleeping in their cozy room in the human world, the next they're trapped in the Devildom with a bunch of, admittedly cute, demons and no hearing aids. Being deaf and surrounded by morons is not a good combo. TW: Anxiety/Panic Attack
Meetings of Greed and Envy: Summary: At the end of a very long first day in the Devildom with Satan, MC wanders off to the kitchen to get a snack...only to run into one Avatar of Greed who hasn't quite been brought up to speed on everything yet. Throw in an angry Leviathan and this day just could not get any worse.

HI 😊
I am back again to put in a song request fic thingy. And I saw that you mentioned that you feel like you've been neglecting the ever so lovely Robin Buckley, I have a fic idea for her 💞
Ok, so the song is Sidelines by Phoebe Bridgers. Specifically the lyric, 'then you came into my life, gave me something to lose.'
And it's just so angsty and they're in love and the whole mess of the lake gate upside down thing happens and they think they're gonna die 😭 but then they get out and they have a really emotional moment in the kitchen of Eddie's trailer
I hope this made sense lmao

A/N: anon, I love u and that amazing brain of urs but good god how do you expect me to write something inspired by a phoebe bridgers song without collapsing to the floor and crying?????? also i tried like,, not to make it too angsty bc im not trying to manifest any character deaths :'D
Robin x wlw!Reader
tw: slight mentions of throwing up, mentions of death (nothing too intense tho), slight angst to comfort, spoilers for stranger things s4 (and season 1, 2, & 3,, but tbh why are u reading this if u haven’t seen any of them?)
...
You had never been afraid of death.
After all, you had stared death in the face and simply flipped the grim reaper your middle finger as you survived time and time again along with Steve, Dustin, and the others. You were right there with them from the very beginning, from the day Will Byers had gone missing, you were the only person who gave Joyce the benefit of the doubt when she revealed to you the lights and the letters she had painted on the wall, telling you that Will was somehow communicating to her. Then came the demogorgons in all their unholy wrath, that you fought off fiercely; you remembered the way your body had reacted before your brain did, soaking a machete with gasoline before setting it on fire to ward off the borderline demonic creature.
You were there for the demodogs, the dark dust cloud that had somehow possessed Will, fighting yet another hoard of monsters while simultaneously keeping a watchful eye over the kids, and the new addition to your team: Max. You were there when Billy showed up, brass knuckles you had stolen from your father decorating your fingers as you threw him a punch to the gut, causing him to keel over in time for Max to inject him, knocking him out.
You had begun working at a JCPenny when Starcourt opened, using your job to your advantage as you listened to people’s conversations while you organized and laid out clothes, running to Scoops Ahoy to feed Steve and Dustin any intel.
That was when you met Robin, Robin Buckley, with her short strawberry blonde hair, pretty blue eyes that you swear you could get lost in; like lying on your back as you floated in the ocean, relaxing at the sound of calming waves. The way she often rambled made you smile, the simple way in which she just talked with that raspy, upbeat voice of hers sent your heart aflutter, she was too cute.
In those initial days of knowing her, giggling at her sarcastic, snarky jokes that always seemed to be directed at Steve and his inability to get any action, pacing around the back room of the ice cream shop during your lunch break as the two of listened to the Russian recording in an attempt to decode it, you couldn’t help the growing affection you had for her.
What started out as a soft spot for her turned into fierce protectiveness as the three of you were strapped to chairs by Russian military. You remembered how you screamed at them when Robin and you were taken to a separate room away from Steve, how you kicked and strained at your restraints whenever they had attempted to do something to her.
“Don’t you ever fucking touch her!” You yelled so intensely that your throat felt rough afterwards, momentarily stunning the Russian officer.
Once the three of you had escaped, you sprinted to the bathroom first, throwing up your insides. As you heard Robin barf, despite your own nausea, you needed to ensure she was okay, so you stood up and walked over to the stall she was in, you knelt beside her on the floor, held her hair up as she vomited, and rubbed her back soothingly.
The three of you had sat on the floor, after the heart to heart the three of you had when you had been captured, another one was set to ensue as Robin asked you and Steve if you had ever been in love before. You remember Steve’s answer, obviously: his ever lasting love for Nancy Wheeler. Meanwhile, you couldn’t help but fidget with your clothing, shrugging at your words: “I don’t think I’ve ever been in love before, but uh, there’s this girl—“
Robin’s eyes widened at your words, while Steve had remained neutral, he was the first person you had come out to, after all, he was your best friend, and he was there for you as your cried about your fear of being unable to find love in the conservative town of Hawkins.
That was when it was Robin’s turn to speak. You couldn’t help the feeling as your heart sank when you had discovered she had a crush of Tammy Thompson. You spirits were immediately uplifted as Steve joked about her, calling her a muppet.
Soon, the battle of Starcourt had ensued. You looked on in horror as Billy had sacrificed himself, turning your gaze away at the terrifying scene before you.
And for while, you were at peace, despite the nightmares and images from the past haunting your mind at night, it all faded away whenever you hung out with Steve and Robin. For once, the three of you could act like normal teenagers, using the jobs you guys had at Family Video to rent out the best movies to watch at either of your houses, curling up next to Robin as you feigned fear whenever you watched a horror movie. You were most definitely not a scaredy cat, of all the things you had to endure the past three years? Bitch, please. But you found any excuse you could just to be next to her.
In spite of your feelings for her, you couldn't help but keep it all in, too afraid to ruin the wonderful friendship you had with her. So you stood on the sidelines as you watched her snicker with Vicki during the basketball game, swallowing the lump in your throat when you saw her smile for someone else.
Now, things happened as they always did: they took a turn for the worst, as news upon students’ murders overtook the once quiet town of Hawkins. Yet another mystery for you all to solve as you had made it your mission to prove Eddie Munson’s innocence. Amid curses from an evil, grotesque being called Vecna, you had somehow managed to go through it without a hint of fear.
Until you had managed to find yourself in the Upside Down along with Steve, Nancy, Eddie, and Robin.
As soon as Robin jumped off the boat, you dove straight right in after her.
While you fought the demobats, you swung your weapon just in time before it had attacked Robin. In that moment, for the first time in your life, you had felt fear crawl up your spine. That was when your head filled with countless thoughts, anxious and worried about what would happen to the five of you, to Robin, in a place that was neither here nor there, a place that only feigned familiarity to mimic a darker, more dangerous version of Hawkins.
As the group traversed through the darkness, you couldn’t help but lace your arm through Robin’s, a gesture that would ensure her safety with her next to you.
Robin had noticed this, glancing in your direction with concern.
“Are you okay?”
“Yeah, just—just stay next to me, okay?” You say, holding her closer.
As your thoughts swarmed your head, one thought stuck out in particular: what if Robin would be Vecna’s next victim?
You pushed the thought away, shoved it to the very recesses if your mind, but for some reason it always managed to make its way back to the front Your eyebrows furrowed as you chewed on your lower lip, running your mind through what Robin’s favorite songs were, god forbid it would ever come to that. Through any and all danger that came your way, you vowed to yourself that you’d be the one bleeding on the ground before anyone or anything so much as harmed Robin. You would be there for her, protect her as much as you could, even if it was the last thing you would ever do.
Another quake has the five of you struggling to stand, the force of the shockwave caused Robin hurtling towards the ground—curse her inept coordination—but you moved just in time, wrapping your arms around her head, twisting yourself around so that she fell atop you and not the hard ground below you.
“(y/n), thanks, but um, you—you can let go now.” She had stuttered, only for you to realize you had been holding her longer than you should have, even after the tremors had ceased.
“Sorry.” You mumble as you release her. She held her hand out towards you, helping you up.
Her fingers interlace with yours, and she doesn’t ever let go even when the group continues their way towards Nancy’s house.
You weren’t scared of death. You weren’t scared of anything.
But as you glanced around the hellish world the five of you were stuck in, eye peeled for any impending danger as red lightning flashed through the sky, with Robin squeezing your hand whenever she heard even the faintest noise that could signal trouble, you felt adrenaline course through your veins.
Now you had found out your one and only fear: losing her.
After you had made contact with the others on the other side, the five of you biked towards Eddie’s trailer.
You can’t help the grin on your face, relief washing over you as the makeshift rope Dustin and the others had created drops down into the world you were trapped in.
You gestured for Robin to go first, ensuring that she would be safe, even in what seemed to be the last leg of your journey. You watched her fall on the mattress, exhaling in solace that she was finally out of this hellhole.
It was your turn to heave yourself up, and as soon as you reached the other side, landing on Eddie’s mattresses, you got up and made your way towards Robin who was by the kitchen sink, staring blankly at the wall.
Anxiety takes over your senses, you feel the hairs on the back of your neck prickle with panic. “Robin? Robin!”
She snaps out of her thoughts as you called out her name. Another wave of relief hits you as you run into her, enveloping her in your arms.
“Woah, (nickname), you alright?”
“Don’t scare me like that.” You mumble against her shoulder, tears brimming your eyes as all your anxieties make their way up the surface.
“Hey, I’m okay, see? I’m fine, it’s okay.” She says comfortingly, stroking your back to soothe you.
You pull away from her, but your arms never unwrap themselves from her waist.
She brushes your hair from your forehead, furrowing her eyebrows with concern.
“What’s wrong?”
You shake your head. “It’s just—with everything that’s happening, I’m, I’m just,” you stammer, taking in a deep breath to prevent your tears from spilling. “I’m scared, Robin. I don’t want to lose you.”
Robin’s eyes soften at your words and cradles your head so your face is tucked into where her neck and shoulder meet.
“It’s, it’s scary, I know, this isn’t like anything we’ve ever seen before. But hey, aren’t you the badass gal who fought a demogorgon with basically a flaming sword? The same person who tore through the Mind Flayer’s flesh, I mean, you literally just took down three demobats on your own, you’ve got this.”
You shake your head again, holding her closer to you.
“It’s different now, Robin.” You mumble against her skin, taking in her scent, memorizing it, in case of the worst case scenario.
“How is it different?” She mutters, smoothening out your hair.
You pull away slightly, a single tear makings it’s way past your cheek.
“I have so much more to lose now.”
“What do you mean by that?”
You sigh, through everything that was happening, it was not or never.
“I have you, now, Robin. And I never want to lose you.”
At your admission, Robin’s eyes widen slightly before going back to their original shape. Throwing all inhibitions away, she leans her forehead on yours, wiping your tears away with her thumbs.
“You’re not going to lose me, I promise.”
“And I’ll make sure of it,” you say with conviction before swallowing. “Even if it’s the last thing I do.”
Her eyes fill with sadness as she takes your hand in hers.
“Don’t say that, (y/n), we’ll be fine, we always end up fine.”
“But this isn’t like those last times, the odds are stacked against us and if we have to face those odds I am more than willing to die for you—“
“Screw the odds!” Robin exclaims. “I’m not losing you, either. Never. So please, stop thinking like that, it hurts me when you do.” Her voice shakes, cracks, as she utters out those words.
You lick your lips, nodding silently, you would never want to hurt her.
As you stare into her blue eyes that you swear you could get lost in each time you looked, she closed the gap between the two of you, placing her lips softly on yours, and you return the gesture.
In that moment, your mind finally quiets, your worries cease. In that single moment there is quiet amongst the chaos, there is light in the darkness, because Mindflayer or Vecna be damned if they ever came between the two of you.
As her lips gently move against yours, there you two are, just two teenagers holding each other lovingly, illuminated by the kitchen light. Not fighting for your lives, not risking it all for the greater good, just you and Robin.
Your Robin.

FIRST PERSON POV
I couldn't believe the words that came out of Theo's mouth. I wanted to punch the shit out of him for bringing Donovan up to Stiles. What the hell did he know anyway?
“What the hell do you know anyway?” I voiced my thoughts. I held onto Stiles as tight as I could, knowing what he wanted to do.
Theo's eyes and face went back to his human features as I just stared at him, waiting for him to answer my question. “I know what happened to Donovan,” he said, finally answering me. He looked from me to Stiles, who was looking at Theo like he couldn't believe what he was hearing. “I know everything--”
I lost my grip on Stiles as he stalked forward, grabbing Theo by his shirt and walking him backwards towards the same chain link fence The Kid, who I now recognized as Josh, pushed Theo up against not ten minutes before. I put my hands over my mouth to prevent any noise of protest from coming out. Stiles needed this.
Sparks flew as Stiles stood there for a minute. “You don't know anything.”
Theo flipped them around, putting Stiles' back on the fence. “I was there. I was at the library. I was going to visit Emma at the hospital to see how she was, but went there instead. Malia found the book. She was texting us to see where you were. Emma, too.”
Uhm, I call bullshit because Scott was with me and no texts were made from me to anyone else in the pack other than Stiles.
“Malia said she left you at the library. I told her I was close. When I got there, I heard the scaffolding come down.”
“You saw him?” Stiles asked.
“Just the body.”
They let go of each other, and Stiles locked eyes with me.
“I watched you come out. I was gonna say something, but then I saw the cop car. And the body was gone.”
Stiles' facial expression went from hard to harder.
“I don't know who took him,” Theo said. “I only saw what you saw, and I didn't say anything because you didn't.”
Stiles looked from Theo to me before looking above my head. I turned my head over my shoulder, trying to see what he was. Realizing it was a siren wailing, I looked back over to him and Theo.
“That's not an ambulance, is it?” Theo asked.
Stiles shook his head before walking over towards me.
“We should get out of here.”
Stiles looked at him again before putting his eyes behind me. “We can't just leave him.”
“Fine. Alright, let's take him,” Theo said. “Someone's stealing the bodies anyway, right? Here's our chance to find out who.”
Stiles' eyes were locked on Josh's claws.
“Stiles, come on,” Theo urged. “We gotta do something.”
“You killed him,” Stiles whispered, looking back to Theo.
I guess I was just invisible at this point... either that or they both forgot that I was standing there.
“It was self-defense,” Theo defended. “He was gonna kill you and me. Emma, too, probably.”
Hey! At least I was mentioned!
“If we stay, we're either gonna have to tell the truth or we're gonna need a pretty convincing story.”
Stiles and I both looked at Josh's body, fangs and claws on display for the world to see.
“It's your choice,” Theo said, causing Stiles and I to look at him. “I'm not gonna ask the two of you to lie to your dads.”
“Don't worry. We've had plenty of practice,” Stiles said. He moved over to Josh's right side.
I went to start moving to help him, but he looked at me with soft eyes that made me stop dead in my tracks, understanding what he was trying to tell me.
Theo walked over to Josh's left, both boys grabbing his jacket and lifting him up.
“Where are we taking him?” I asked.
“Deaton's,” Stiles said.
I nodded and led them out of the hospital, where we put Josh in the trunk of my Jeep. We all piled in before I tore out of the parking lot.
Stiles put his hand on my lap as best he could while I drove. I reached down and laced my fingers with his, moving our hands to the side a little bit to be more comfortable.
“I haven't had the chance to say this, but you two make a cute couple,” Theo said.
“Thanks. Now. Shut. the hell. up,” I said. “It was nicer when you weren't talking.”
Silence followed. Blissful silence.
Once we got to the clinic, Stiles and Theo hopped out and grabbed Josh, while I went to the door and unlocked it.
Stiles had already texted Scott, telling him to get the clinic.
After getting inside and putting Josh's body on the table with a cloth, we stood around for about five or so minutes before Scott walked in.
Stiles and I were standing on Josh's right while Theo stood on his left, Scott standing at his head. After Scott gave him a nod of go ahead, Stiles pulled the sheet back, revealing Josh's face.
“Do you know him?” Theo asked.
“His name's Josh,” Scott said. “He was a junior.” He looked up at me and I nodded my head, letting him know that he was right.
Stiles and Theo looked at each other as Scott stepped away from the table as Stiles put the sheet back over Josh's face.
Scott turned back around to look at us. “Which one did it? The one with the cane?”
Stiles and I looked back over to Theo as he answered, “Yeah.”
“What are we going to do with him?” Stiles asked, looking back over to Scott. He put his arm around my shoulders, pulling me into his side.
“We can't just set the alarm and leave, Scotty,” I said. “That's how Tracy disappeared.”
After a moment of silence, and impatience, Stiles spoke up again. “Alright, someone's got to stay here with him.”
I looked over at Theo as he sighed, “I'll do it.”
Stiles, Scott and I all three looked over at him as he looked up at us.
“It's not like I had a big Saturday night planned.”
Scott pulled his phone from his pocket, gaining my attention yet again.
“I swear, the two of you are gonna give me fucking whiplash,” I mumbled.
“What is it?” Stiles asked.
“Another one,” Scott said. He looked up at us from his phone. “Another Chimera.”
“Well, shit,” I muttered.
~~~
A ride back to Scott's house later saw him, Liam, Stiles and myself standing in front of Scott's bathroom door... with Scott knocking on it.
How many times can I say Scott in one sentence?
“Hayden? It's Scott,” he said. “I know that you're scared, but we just-- we wanna help.” He looked back at us, receiving no response... well, more specifically, Liam.
“I can hear her heart beating,” Scott said. “She's really freaked out. What happened?”
“She was okay when we got here,” Liam said. “I went to text you for two seconds and she locked herself in.”
“Why?” Stiles asked.
“I don't know.”
“She's definitely a Chimera?” Scott asked.
Liam nodded. “She said she heard a voice saying, 'Your condition improves.' ”
“Wait a sec,” I said. “At the hospital right before I went into memory mode, I heard the Dread Doctors say Hayden’s name through the heart monitor.”
“Okay, that's unsettling,” Stiles said. He moved from his spot next to me to stand in front of the door. “Hayden,” he said, knocking gently. “This is Stiles. Your sister works with mine and Emma's dad's down at the station. Look, just open the door, okay? You can trust us.” He backed up next to me at receiving no response.
Scott moved back in front of the door. “We just need to tell you the truth, Hayden. And that kind of thing usually is better face-to-face.”
I looked up at Stiles, seeing him give a face. He looked at me as I put my arm around his back, leaning into his side. He pressed a gentle kiss to the top of my head as Scott continued talking to Hayden.
“Listen, either you're gonna unlock the door or I'm gonna have to break it open.”
“Scott,” I warned and walked up to the door, giving it a go. I pushed him out of the way, muttering, “You're so damn bossy.”
I cleared my throat and knocked on the door. “Hayden? Hey, girl, it's Emma. I used to babysit you, remember? Listen, it's okay if you want to talk to these boys, or  if you're not ready to believe any of us. But we just-- we gotta know that you're okay in there, babe.”
It was silent for a couple of seconds so I looked over my shoulder at Scott. The facial expression I gave him said to proceed with breaking the door down.
He got in a ready stance beside me as the door unlocked and cracked open a bit, letting us know that Hayden was ready to talk.
Scott shoved me a little, signaling for me to open the door the rest of the way.
“Boys,” I sighed. I pushed the door open, slowly, revealing a transformed Hayden; fangs, claws, glowing eyes.
She looked me dead in the face and said, “I believe you.”
~~~
The next day at school, I was in the library, looking for a new read when I saw Mason walk by. “Mason,” I whispered.
“Hey, Emma. What brings you here?” he asked.
I held my book up and sassed, “Books. Believe it or not, I like to read.”
He chuckled. “You think you could help me find a book?”
I smiled a little. “It would be my pleasure.”
Him and I walked over to the section he wanted to look in.  “Hmmm,” I said. “This one seems interesting.”
Mason walked up next to me as I looked through the shelf.
“Corey?” I said.
Said boy looked up at me, smiling. “Emma.”
I chuckled incredulously, walking over to him, wrapping him up in a hug. “What the hell? When did you get back?”
“Just a few weeks ago,” he said, the two of us pulling out of the hug.
“Wait,” Mason said. “You two know each other?”
“Yeah, we're cousins,” Corey said.
“My dad's side,” I quickly explained.
“Ah,” Mason said.
“You're Mason, right?” Corey asked.
“Yeah. You're Corey,” Mason said.
I looked between the two, instantly feeling a connection.
“You saw Lucas that night,” Corey said. “My friend said he saw you talking to him.”
“Yeah, uh--” Mason said. “I—I met him that night. He was, uh, really cool. Look, I'm sorry about what happened.”
“Did he say anything? About me? About what happened?”
Mason shook his head. “Sorry. I mean, I already told the cops everything I know. Which wasn't much. I'm-I'm really sorry.”
Corey turned around and placed a book back on the shelf before turning back towards me. “It was good to see you, Em. Uhm, I think dinner is happening at your house tonight. Well, your parents' house considering I heard you're living with the Sheriff and his son.”
“Slash boyfriend. Son/boyfriend,” I said. “Uhm, we're kind of working a small case, Stiles and I, so I'm not too sure if I'll be over there tonight or not, but I'll call Dad and let him know.”
Corey nodded. “See ya.” He turned around and left, leaving me to stare at the spot he was standing in.
“Emma, what's that book say? The red and white one?” Mason asked.
I looked at said book, reading the spine. “Miraculous Healing: True Stories Of Impossible Medical Cures.” I felt two bodies enter the library, my eyes going Green.
“Whoa, Emma, your eyes. They're a Bright Green.”
“Scott and Stiles are here. I gotta go,” I said. I walked off blinking rapidly to get rid of my eyes, which did once I reached Scott and Stiles at a table, a map in front of them.
“We're back to telluric currents?” I asked, a hint of complaining to my voice. Stiles chuckled and put his arm around my shoulders.
“If the Dread Doctors didn't like coming into Eichen House because of them, maybe we can use them to protect Hayden,” Scott said.
“Okay, so besides Eichen, where's the strongest convergence?” Stiles asked.
I sighed as Scott pointed to the school on the map in front of us. “We're standing on it,” I said.
Scott nodded, agreeing with me.
“You want to hide her in the high school? For how long?” Stiles asked.
“If we have to, all night,” Scott said. “Liam convinced Hayden not to say anything to her sister yet. She's working a double tonight, she thinks Hayden's staying at a friend's house.”
“But it's just a school though,” Stiles said. “You know, it's not exactly a fortress.”
“Lydia's got an idea for that. Remember how Valack quoted Tesla?”
“Frequency and vibration,” Stiles and I said.
“Emma told Lydia what Valack said. She thinks he wasn't saying that to you two just to sound smart. She thinks maybe he was dropping you guys a clue.”
“Do to what?” Stiles asked.
“Disrupt their frequency,” I said.
“Parrish took three cell phone jammers from the station,” Scott said. “He thinks he can broaden their range of frequency. It's a long shot, but it's the best we got right now.”
~~~
Later that night, Stiles and I ended up heading back to the clinic.
“Ya'know,” I sighed. “Maybe we should just bring some sleeping bags, extra clothes, toiletries...”
He chuckled, sparing a glance at me before turning back to the road. “Why? What makes you say that?”
“ ‘Cause we're here all the freaking time. I swear, the night we brought Derek here because Kate shot him in the arm with that bullet was the night the universe said we’re gonna make this building, as well as the Sheriff's Station, your third and fourth homes.”
He chuckled again. “Nah. It's kind of in the middle of everyone, so--”
“So's the station and the school, babe. You don't see us going there all the time.”
“Well, you know Deaton was an emissary for Talia's pack. He knows a lot about what's threatening us.”
“When they're here.”
He nodded slightly a couple times. “When they're here.”
I sighed again as we pulled up to the clinic's back door.
He turned to me as best he could. “Can you still hear pack members?”
Shaking my head, I looked down. “No. My abilities are, if not have, gone away. After Tracy slashed me up like Freddy Kruger.” I turned my head to look at him and stuck my hand out. “Give me your phone.”
“Why?” he asked, getting his phone from his pocket.
“I'll be right back. Get that watch thing ready, too.”
I got out of the Jeep and walked up to the back door, hearing muffled voices. Shaking my head, I opened the door, only to be greeted by Theo Raeken.
“What's going on?” he asked me, causing me to stop in my tracks for a moment.
I looked from him to the front door to the exam room, continuing my steps. “Whoever's stealing the bodies probably isn't going to do it while we're standing guard over one of them.” I stopped in front of the x-ray light, where you stick the x-ray pictures up.
“So you've got a better idea?” His voice held a little bit of flirting in it, which I definitely noticed.
I held up Stiles' phone and reached as far as I could to place it on top of the light, but couldn't reach all the way. Theo walked over and helped me out.
“Uhm,” I said, clearing my throat. It was more of uncomfortableness at the close proximity. “Just make sure that the camera's facing the body.”
I walked out of the building, shivering.
“Are you cold?” Theo asked, going to take off his jacket.
“Nope,” I said. “Get in the back.”
He sighed and walked around me to climb in the backseat of the Jeep.
I took my seat just as Stiles was putting the video feed watch up on the rear view mirror.
“What happens now?” Theo asked.
“We wait,” Stiles said.
“You guys want to take shifts watching?”
“No, no. We most definitely want to spend some quality time with you,” I sassed.
It was quiet for a second before I turned my head over my shoulder to look at Theo, only to see him smiling. “Sounds good to me, Emma.”
“Oh, my God,” I sighed. “Keep it in your pants.”
~~~
What seems like forever went by, Theo, gross, decided that now was the perfect time to speak up... again.
I was leaned over against Stiles' shoulder, his head leaning on mine.
“You both still wondering why I haven't said anything to Scott?” Theo said.
“Maybe,” Stiles and I said.
“You think I've got some kind of ulterior motive.”
“More than likely,” Stiles said.
“Would either of you believe me if I said all I want... all I've ever wanted is for you guys to trust me?”
“Nope,” Stiles and I said without missing a beat.
“So you're here because you're never going to trust me.”
I sighed and picked my head up from Stiles' shoulder, accepting the fact that a small nap was just not going to happen for me.
“Yep. Glad we had this talk,” Stiles said, sarcastically.
We both looked back to Theo, who rolled his eyes and looked down at his lap.
“Em, you know who you remind me of?” Theo asked.
“Only my boyfriend and best friend call me Em, and I really don't care,” I sassed.
“My sister.”
I looked at Stiles, wide-eyed. “And why, pray tell, do I remind you of your sister?” I asked.
“Because you're smart. She was smarter than everyone, too. And a pain in the ass like you... and Stiles, here.”
“Well, what can I say,” I said, hair flip included.
“But she always looked out for me. The same way you two look out for Scott.”
I looked back at him. “Because that's what best friends do. They look out for each other.” I turned back forward, putting my eyes on the video feed.
“You know, I was the one that found her body. She'd fallen into a creek, broken her leg. They told us she would've been okay if it wasn't one of the coldest nights of the year. If it wasn't for the hypothermia. And when I found her, all I could think was that I should've known.”
“Known what?” I asked, sadness hinting my voice. I couldn't help but think of my brother, Cart. What he would've been like if he hadn't have drowned... if I hadn't have screamed because I knew, at the age of 2, that he was going to die.
“That I should've been looking out for her,” Theo said.
I felt Stiles' eyes on me, knowing that he was thinking the exact same thing I was. “Why are you telling her this? Us this?”
“I'm telling her, the both of you, because even if you don't trust me and even if you don't like me, I'm going to be looking out for you... the way I should've been looking out for her.”
~~~
A couple more hours went by. Pure blissful silence. Stiles had told me to lean back over to attempt to get some shut eye. Yeah, that didn't last long.
“You know, I saw his teeth,” Theo said.
“And here we go again,” I sighed, picking my head up once again.
A few seconds of silence. “Donovan. He was a, uh--”
“A Wendigo, man. Get it together,” I sassed.
“Someone's feisty,” Stiles said, reaching over and putting his hand on my thigh.
“Well, homeboy back there can't seem to get to his point, and I'm tired and cranky because he keeps talking. Plus it’s… been a while.”
“That's the cannibal one, right?” Theo asked, ignoring mine and Stiles' small conversation.
“Native American. The myth says that, uh, if you ate human flesh, your punishment was to turn into a creature that constantly craved it,” Stiles informed.
“That's a pretty judgmental myth,” Theo said.
“I detect a hint of sass coming from your tone... only I can be the sassy one. There's only room for one,” I sassed.
“Well, I didn't make it up,” Stiles addressed Theo.
“What if it was the only way to survive?” Theo asked. “I mean, you ever hear of the Donner party? I'm pretty sure they didn't turn into Wendigos.”
“Well, they didn't live in Beacon Hills,” Stiles said.
“Good point,” Theo said. It was quiet for a second before he spoke up again. “So what's the punishment for killing a Chimera?”
“You spend five hours in a car with Theo Raeken,” Stiles said.
I chuckled at his statement, feeling his hand squeeze my thigh with his next words.
“Like I know what my punishment is. I'm gonna lose my best friend. I thought I was going to lose my girlfriend.”
“Turns out you were wrong on the girlfriend front,” I said.
He turned his head to look at me, giving me a sad smile.
I turned my head back forward, feeling a weird presence near us, my brows drawing in.
“I'm gonna lose Scott,” Stiles said.
“If Scott really gave up on you for some piece of crap like Donovan, then he wouldn't be a True Alpha, would he?” Theo said.
I sat up more straight in my seat, looking at the glove box, but turning my head both left and right, trying to figure out what this feeling was... or better yet, who I was feeling.
“Or maybe that's the definition of one, someone who doesn't put up with murder,” Stiles said.
“No, that's just Scott. You know that,” I said. I looked from Stiles to look out the window, the feeling getting a little stronger.
“It just sounds to me like you guys need to look up justifiable homicide,” Theo said.
“Did you seriously just say that to the son of a cop?” Stiles asked.
“And the daughter of a cop and the best attorney this town has to offer?” I added, still looking out the window.
“A werewolf's eyes are supposed to change color when you take an innocent life,” Theo said. Stiles and I both looked back at Theo as his eyes changed to Beta Gold. “Do these look Blue to you?” His eyes went back to their normal shade. “It was self-defense. For me and for you, Stiles.”
I rolled my eyes and turned my sights back to the window as Stiles said, “Or maybe you just don't feel all that bad about it.”
“You can't say one life is objectively less innocent than another one,” I said.
“What if they turn Blue 'cause you feel guilty?” Stiles finished.
“So it's up to interpretation?” Theo said.
“Yeah, maybe.”
I sighed. “Both of you are giving me a headache.” I was in fact getting one, but it wasn't from Stiles and Theo's bickering. It was from that overwhelming feeling I get right before I scream.
“Okay,” Theo said. “Then here's my interpretation of what happened with you and Donovan. Not guilty.”
Another couple of seconds of silence, and my brows furrowed deeper than I've ever felt them go.
“Did you feel bad about it?” Theo asked Stiles, their own conversation still going strong. “Not now. I mean right then. Right when it happened,” he added. Stiles must've given him a look. “What were you thinking the moment you knew he was dead and there was no saving him?”
“One word...” Stiles said. “Good.”
I heard Theo sniffling after a couple of seconds and sighed.
“What?” Stiles asked.
“Theo, please tell me you can smell what I'm sensing,” I said.
“Maybe. I'm smelling smoke. Like something burning,” he said.
“Or someone.” I opened up the door, getting out.
“Whoa, where are you going?” Stiles asked.
Turning back around, I looked at him. “If he's smelling something burning and I'm sensing that someone might be burning, I wanna know what or who it is so that I can call my dad. Just stay here.”
I turned and saw fire standing in front of me, eyes going wide. A flaming hand reached in my direction, moving me out of the way and to the concrete below me. I watched as this person punched Theo straight in the face after he leaned forward to check things out, his blood splattering all over Stiles' face. Poor baby can't catch a break from getting other people's blood on him.
Theo was tossed next to me, his arm going around me protectively before he passed out.
I watched as this person walked to the back of the Jeep and lifted it up off it's back tires, Stiles shouting inside.
“Stiles!” I screamed.
The Jeep ended up on it's top. Stiles' top half fell out of the open window, him passing out right after. Flames started up at the front, and the overwhelming feeling of needing to scream overcame me. That's all I wanted to do as my boyfriend laid unconscious.
More flames started around the Jeep as a body came walking out of the clinic. I was able to get Theo's arm from around me enough to sit up. As the person walked by with Josh's body slung over their shoulder, my mouth hung open.
“Parrish?” I whispered to myself. He didn't say or do anything. Just kept walking.
As soon as he was out of sight, I looked back over towards Stiles. Jumping up on my feet as fast as I could without falling on the rocks, I raced over to him, landing on my knees at his head and putting my hands on the parts of his face that weren't covered in Theo's blood.
“Stiles? Babe, you have to wake up. Babe, wake the hell up,” I said, tears forming in my eyes.
I looked at the fire at the front of the Jeep, sniffling. I looked back to Stiles, getting up from my position at his head. I went inside and got the fire extinguisher. Bringing it outside, I started to put the fires out.
Theo came up on my side. “What happened?” “Just get Stiles. I'll explain in a second,” I said. I walked to Stiles' head, putting the fires out that were at the back as Theo grabbed under Stiles' arms and pulled him out of the Jeep.
Theo set Stiles on the ground as I put the fire extinguisher on the ground.
Stiles started coughing, causing me to look over at him as he was looking up at Theo... who was looking at me.
Connecting my eyes with Theo's, I said, “The body... the body's gone.”
Ok ok ok, now that I'm -mostly- done crying. Here goes my thoughts and feelings.
First off, i just want to say what an amazing job you did on this! Not only did you write every single scene and moment beautifully. You managed to keep us surprised, in the best way. Now, i would just love to say that. I adore that you picked Swallow for the name and their tattos. You kept up with the whole, finding their way back to each other. They did it time and time again and now that they finally have each other for good? They are never letting go so excuse me while i cry about that.
I thought i would share with you. My many reactions and mood changes:) enjoy this rollercoaster.
Alrighty, i had a whole lotta anxiety while reading those letters seeing the years slowly get longer. Yeah, that was rough. But i lived! Barly.
"A lot can change in 7 years. You've got teenagers now. Do the twins really remember me?"
Fun fact, this was another part that almost make me cry. And Allie... it was in the beginning of the epilogue. The beginning and that was the second or third time I felt like I was gonna cry. The reason being, reading that the twins are now teenagers made me sad. They don't know their uncle Buck and it also showed that a lot can change and that so much time has passed. But I still had hope that she never moved on;)
So I noticed that after Bucky asked Steve to stop bringing up his girl. He did. And that made me really anxious about wheather she moved on or not. But I think you did that on purpose;) I still had hope though
"Just bring my bike and bag. Drop it at the gate."
James Buchanan Barnes. Yoy are one (1) big freaking idiot if you thought for even a second that your famuly was just going to leave your bike and let you go. IDIOT.
"Taking your kids to see Clint."
That's bullcrap James Buchanan Barnes and we both know it!
"Having dinner with your husband."
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA boi. You are so funny! We both know she couldn't be having dinner with her husband when you aren't even home. Dummy.
"He told Steve he didn't want anyone to see him off. He couldn't handle saying goodbye again."
"Because there you were."
Told ya Buck😁
"You weren't supposed to waste your life on me."
"You can't tell me what to do. And who says waiting for you is wasting my life? I get to decide what my life looks like, not you."
Basically from this down I was feeling something like. 😊❤happy💕fluff😍😭my heart🤧💜 if you would like to see photographic evidence here you go
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In order from left to right that is me crying from feeling all the feels. My in bed feeling all the feels and me smiling like an idiot because i love these two (2) idiots and they make me soft and they finally are getting their happy ending
"You already knew, and neither of yoy were going home."
What a sappy moment. Sad that they're daying bye to their friends, their family. But happy for them. They're finally getting their happy ending as previously stated💕😍🤧
"Can we start our life now?"
FINALLY AHHHSHSJSKSHSHSKSHSHSKS MY HEART
"You always find your way back to each other and he was stupid to think this time would be different."
Yeah, a huge flipping idiot is what he was. You don't have those swallow tattoos for nothing! Again, I love that you picked swallows and show that time and time again no matter the circumstances they find their way back to one another. Absolutely adore it.
Them driving away, with her hand over his heart 'just like always' got me it got me really good. For like the 10th time this chapter i felt the urge to cry. Lile honestly how cute. I love it. I could only wish for a love like theirs. For the dedication they have for and to each other. That only adds to the greatness of this fic. I genuinely mean it when i say that i love this fic. It is greatly underrated in my opinion. I can see how much effort and thought you put into this fic and all the characters and everything about it. Which is just another reason why I love it so much. You say thank you for putting up with you but we should be the ones thanking you! You offer us these amazing, well thought out stories time and time again. You share your beautiful writing with us and gain nothing out of it. Except for maybe a few comments and reblogs here and there. So thank you, thank you so much for not just this fic. But for all of them.
Ok, I'm finally done! I apologize for this being so long haha
Nope, i forgot to add something.
Just like always
I don't know how, but just those 3 words. Was such a beautiful way to close this fantastic series. And I really thought I should let you know that. They wrre honestly so satisfying to read.
Again, thank you and I love you
Swallow [Epilogue]
Epilogue: Nearly Eight Years Late.
Pairings: Bucky x Reader
Summary: It was time to let go
A/N:   It’s the end! Thank you for sticking with me. I love this so so so so much, and I don’t normally say that about my writing. lolol.  It’s a bit long for an epilogue, but I felt it was needed. The friend Steve mentions in the letters in the first half is Phil, and when he says the garage, he means the club. Gotta talk in code. Prison, ya know? Send me love because I’m needy.  No beta so read at your own risk. ;-)
***My fics are not to be saved or posted on any other sites without my written permission. Reblogs are my jam though! Thanks!*
Tumblr media
Buck,
Of all the dumb things you’ve ever done telling Y/n you’re over, and she needs to move on has to be one of the dumbest. You know she’s been writing you? She tried to come up and see you and they sent her away, but I’m guessing you know all that since you have to refuse.
She won’t wait around forever, you know? Or, maybe she will. The two of you I swear…
I don’t know if you really thought about what you asked of her. Have you really thought about losing her to someone else? You keep pushing her away, and you might get your wish. She loves you. Don’t be an idiot.
We are good. Garage is doing good. We miss you.
I’ll write you soon.
Stay out of trouble.
Keep reading
