Stuck on thinking Jacob & Eden as physically disabled & using canes & often meeting Dylan who's arm got amputated during the game

#byler #will byers #stranger things #every season besides s4-5 opens with non main characters #for el we got a flashback of the lab followed by her perspective in the scene directly after #and I think for Will we will see something similar #with us getting the flashback of him in castle byers in the UD #followed by him in the present in the scene after #but what exactly would warrant that memory being brought up in association with Will in the present?#mayhaps his connection to the mindflayer and the UD run deeper than we realize…#it’s likely not something he could just rid himself of in s2 and now he’s all good #he literally still feels a connection to everything he is feeling #that means he is still technically at risk of being the spy in some capacity #the massacre at Hawkins lab also was a guiding force for El discovering the ‘truth’ in s4 #so it’s likely for Will this instance will operate in a way that re-contextualizes the events in the past up to now #like that time Will suggested they go to the hospital in s3 only for the flayed to be waiting for them #or how flayed Billy knew they were at the cabin…#all while Will was looking cryptic as hell in that scene watching over el #or the fact that he picked Billy in the first place the season after he focused on Will…#you know.. williams #I think the easiest way to introduce the castle Byers flashback is a dream honestly #specifically a dream within a dream #seeing that recent leak and Will looking like either he has a black or hasn’t slept in days #is giving very much ‘I am afraid to sleep bc I’m scared of what will happen’#I think dude is not exactly possessed in the sense that we already saw in s2 with like the particicles #but he’s still vulnerable #the door is still ajar…#no but fr this idea of opening a door in your mind was so blatant in st2 AND s3b of teen wolf #I think a big part of it will be guilting Will over the fact that Will has helped him before without Will telling the others #hence his weird vibe in s3… like he’s already successfully fucked with Will post s2 potentially with us being none the wiser aka here we go

I’ve seen a lot of characters who fit into the ‘grumpy/closed off’ role associated with hating sweets by fandom

And i don’t get it cuz we have one canon character who hates sweets (Kakashi) but he’s also one of the biggest dorks

Nothing states Sasuke hates sweets

Or that Gaara hates sweets

In fact, i think we should headcanon them as loving sweets because they deserve some lil treats. Gaara going out for the first time with his siblings and getting a sweet little treat in Suna that he has never had before, and finding he loves it because it tastes good but also this is one of his first genuinely good memories

#i just find it weird #why?#grumpy characters can like sweets #they don’t need to hate them and it’s weird to see them always being portrayed by fandom as hating them #kakashi canonly has sensitive tastebuds #so it makes sense he doesn’t like overwhelmingly sweet things #dudes fav foods are grilled fish and eggplant #he likes simple foods #the same cannot be said for Sasuke and Gaara #we have no cannon proof they would hate sweets #let them enjoy sweets #choose a happy go lucky character to hate sweets #maybe naruto hates sweets because he never had a lot growing up and now it’s too overwhelming on his taste uds

To go through the books on the shelves, even though they were dusty and forgotten, Gwenifar couldn't help herself. She stood at a table near the wall, looking over a book discussing the studies of the person who had occupied it, especially about the sussur flowers.

She could feel him as he neared, the grime and sweat there, but also something distinctly him-pages of a book, the spices used for cooking, with a hint of rose water. The touch of his fingers grazing along her shoulder sent a reaction through her—

One she wasn't quite acquainted with, but she did not mind.

She turned to look at him, realizing how close he was as his hand rested on her shoulder, looking at the tomes she had in front of her. When his gaze came to hers, she was thankful it was dark and he couldn't see how profusely she was blushing, judging by how warm her cheeks were.

"These...These studies are fascinating," she said after a moment, turning back to look at the books. She was rather aware the others were searching other floors for something useful, leaving her and Gale quite alone.

Until Dawn fandom was so good because 1) all the kids were canonically friends, so you couldn’t realistically stan just one character without the others, and 2) every single one of those kids was either the worst person you’d ever met or complicit in enabling said worst people. So no character fandom had moral high ground over any other one. We were all in it together. Equality

#i was out there fighting in the trenches beside fans of the character who said we should shoot my fave in the head #and I’d do it again #until dawn #seriously no fandom will ever come close to that one I don’t think #The Q*arry tried but it had adult characters be too prominent and ended up throwing off the whole balance #UD was like it’s just me and my gay little slasher teen cast against the world
