Carolina apparently hits him so hard here he just stays down for like 23 seconds (I literally counted) not even attempting to help Felix and when he DOES get up he's swaying while clutching his side this man hates his job

inspired by some posts i've seen floating around: who would your detective romance if they couldn't romance their current love interest? 👀
#charlie is easy: adam#they'd be rly good together bc they are very similar and work seamlessly together#i think it'd be a very much a slow build good friends to lovers route instead of what A's route currently is though#because in the beginning they both genuinely drive each other crazy in a non hot way lol#so it would def take time for them to warm up to each other and then they eventually become friends and then lovers i think#vesper's is either nate or mason. Will the others (Raph Leo and Mikey) grow to view April as a sister like Donnie? Or does the viewing humans as a bad thing mess that up
Mmh there're never gonna be quite as close to April as Donnie is, but it's not because she's human (they get over that eventuality, even Mikey) but they didn't grow up with her the way Donnie did. They all become close friends eventually but I dunno for sure if they start viewing her as their sister? I mean they obviously view Donnie as their brother and recognize that April is basically his sister, so like..... step-sister maybe....? Then again I don't think their exact dynamic with April is something they've necesarily put a ton of concious thought into, they do view her as part of the greater Hamato-Draxum-O'Neil family so that's something.
#donnie is extremely attached to april because he barely had anyone else to interact with growing up#he basically jumped at the opportunity of having a sibling lol#(.....maybe there was a subconcious part of him that knew that he was supposed to have siblings who knows)#to compare the drax bros never dealt with that same loneliness#sure they knew that their 4th brother was missing and they wanted to reunite with him#but they still had each other and they grew up in a society where they could go outside and talk with others like normal people#so they don't really need april to fill a specific role in their lives - she's a good friend and that's all they need from her#tiz sep au#tizel talk#tmnt#rottmnt

rick bringing percy and annabeth back in cameos just to consistently shit on their characters is enough to ruin my mood for at least a week
#the tone his books carry with percy and annabeth being made to feel guilty for being shitty forgetful friends will never not be BULLSHIT#esp when you need to create literal plot holes to do it. bob is not supposed to exist after the events of hoh#or even if you forgot that little detail (what are editors for again?) he shouldn't have regenerated that fast#and even if we ignore all of that#why the fuck would percy and annabeth be able to do anything in the first place? how and why would they jump back into the pit#like stop taking these characters out of their own series just to include a cheap ooc cameo scene with them that does#absolutely nothing for the plot and adds nothing to their characters#except you know ... make them look and feel bad for shit they shouldn't#using nico to do this as well is just so ... leaves a bad taste in my mouth quite frankly#like nico literally killed bryce and let octavian kill himself or wtv bc he /understands/ that there are some things u cant prevent#and saving your friends lives in times of literal war is .. what anyone else would do#so like ??? leave these characters ALONE jfc#and the fun part is there is plenty there to use for emotional tension with nico and percy specifically#you dont need a contrived out-of-character moment with percy bob annabeth and nico when u already have#the events of the first 5 books which.. nico and percy never really talk about after the war#not that they need to talk about it but if u needed to give nico something to reflect on about percy's flawed moments#there's all of pjo to pick from. bc wrapping up everything theyve been through and felt bc of the other the way rick did in boo#is also bullshit. if you were going to bring percy back at least give us a more fleshed out scene between the two#it was such a wasted opportunity that was spent on making percy and annabeth look bad instead lmao#and i will never not be angry about it#it would have made the scene where nico is looking at percy in a new light after realizing how much he carried in tlo hold more weight#both in a literal and metaphorical sense bc yeah percy was carrying a lot! so to have nico who put him on a pedestal and watched him fall#have a moment of reflection would have been way more meaningful if rick hadnt just shit on his character a few pages ago lmfao#rr crit#cin's txt.

still actually cannot get over how bad 8x03 is as an episode… i don’t even hate arya but instead of following through on characters who actually HAD plotlines involving the white walkers throughout the show such as jon, sam, and even dany a bit with season 7… they instead decide to randomly give arya an entire prophecy narrative and build up to her killing the NK within the span of an ep. like what the actual fuck 😭😭😭 its so stupid
