Morning guys! So today I've decided to share my Hogwarts Legacy character models (safetensors file) publicly...

When I posted the first few Ominis images I've already mentioned that I could share my model files one day, and I'm sharing them now. I uploaded them to Civitai first (because that's where most people in the open-source AI txt2img community go to for finding models), but I imported them to weights.gg as well (the online image generation there is free, unlike Civitai), so everybody can play around with them.

Civitai Weights.gg I'm gonna start a new semester soon so I'm not sure if I would still have enough time to do AI images (of more complex composition) for the boys...but I mean, if I was able to make time, I would surely continue to do it. Also in this semester there will be art classes too, so hopefully I could actually learn some drawing skills and create some interesting stuff.

About using these models, I still strongly recommend using ComfyUI instead of weights.gg (for online service like this, they usually lack a good inpainting and upscaling workflow), so if you got a decent GPU (graphics card with 12G VRAM or up), it's a better idea to run them on your own pc.

Here's the GitHub page for ComfyUI: It's free and it will always be free (it's an open-source project after all), since you will be running them on your own pc.

hey hi i have a question about your game

i know this can't really be a top priority when the game itself doesn't fully exist yet but i've got a cheap ass pc (1.7gb of vram and only 32mb of that are dedicated) and would love to know if you're thinking of optimizing the graphics for toasters or at least adding toggles for the most graphically intensive stuff?

especially if the game's gonna have porn or even just nudity, i can't reasonably buy/download another poorly optimized porn game but also i love being a girl and having a dick and playing games where i can also do those two things

oh yeah i'm doing everything i can to keep performance good, e.g. there's no actual transparency effects (particles etc. just use dithering and most only update at 30fps), level geometry is gonna stay fairly low-poly and texture stuff is either flat colors or tiny (128x128) textures. plus i'm trying to keep even minor things efficient like the UI (stuff only updates when it's changed instead of constantly checking values on the player, UI animations run at 30fps) and interactable stuff (jumpslash targets don't update unless you're actually close enough to jumpslash at them). also some general "every game should pay attention to this" stuff like limiting how many lights get to cast shadows

probably the worst thing performance-wise right now is aldegund herself since her model is actually like. 7 separate skeletal meshes (+1 penis mesh) to update every frame when you have every item, due to her items affecting her appearance, but i plan on fixing that soon (as in, working on it right now) using the dynamic triangle culling shader i came up with semi-recently for Lesser Beast, so she'll just be a single skeletal mesh with bits hidden based on your items. it'll be slightly worse for memory usage on average, since her full 8000~ triangle model will always be loaded instead of just when you have all your upgrades, but ultimately it'll be better for performance

regarding hog stuff though, nothing explicit planned other than a "let aldegund hang cock" toggle. maybe some busty catboy NPCs too

I like to play windowed mode so I'm NOT an ultra graphics freak but I couldnt get all the character textures in the beta armor set to load entirely with my 1660ti. thats from 2019 and its the newest thing in my pc. my cpu is a i7-7740x from 2017 :'3

I cant afford my ideal gpu (4070ti super. enough vram for my blender endeavors, not annoyingly inefficient with power that they're trying to pass off whats basically a preoverclocked card as pure generational performance gains) + new cpu mobo combo rn and those new import tariffs will just put it further out of reach?

I still have rise and sunbreak to play through tho! I have my reservations about the combat style tho bc I was fighting a monster on the trial and a prompt said to use a silkbug? to dodge an attack and i dont know if i like that.

….Nahhhhhhhh…we gotta talk about today’s episode of Kamen Rider Gavv…

... Because shit DEFINITELY hit the fan with that cliffhanger of an ending from today’s episode.

With Big Sis Glotia opening her big mouth and outing Shouma not only in-front of Lakia Armaga (a.k.a Laag9 a.k.a Kamen Rider Vram) but ALSO Hanto who had the best timing in this entire show to show up at the exact moment the whole fight between Gavv and Vram vs Full Granute Glotia ended.

I mean, we all knew this day would eventually come and we all knew it  was going to be a painful moment with as much delicacy as ripping off a bandage on a critically gaping flesh wound.

But DAMN, even though shit was going to be bad once Hanto discovererd the truth about Shouma, even then I was still hoping it would’ve been after a moment of Shouma spending more time with Vram Lakia so that he’d have another Granute ally or maybe after he’d at least told everything to Sachika so that would at least have her on his side.

But no, the worst possible outcome happened with Shouma being outed before he could explain anything to everyone. Now everything just looks bad.

But ironically enough, that’s not what I want to talk about. What I’m here to discuss is actually the teaser for the next episode!

The name of the episode is “An Excessively Bitter Gavv” debuting what looks to be Shouma’s anti form. An evil version of himself.

To me, Bitter Shouma looks and acts like a corrupted version of Shouma. No longer his kind, compassionate and sweet self, willing to do everything in his power to help others especially those who have been victims of his “family” and their malicious Dark Treats empire. From the trailer, Bitter Shouma looks … well bitter.

He appears to be resentful with not an ounce of the compassion he had when the season started.

And what’s worse is that in the trailer we’re shown a scene of Hanto showing Sachika a video of Bitter Shouma beating up an innocent civilian and Hanto telling Sachika that Bitter Gavv is the “real Shouma”.

I know I should expect Hanto to say that given how this episode ended. But here comes my questions. HOW did Shouma become BITTER Shouma?

Is there going to be like some kind of timeskip between today’s episode and the next one and during that time, Shouma has gone missing and when he finally resurfaces he’s just rocking this new angrier persona?

Are we dealing with a case where BITTER Shouma is the embodiment of his Granute personality that he’s kept suppressed for so long until the events of this episode, particular the part where Hanto punched him in the face and probably reawakened that side of Shouma?

The only thing that makes sense is … what if Shouma got so depressed as a result of everything that happened, losing all of his friends’ trust to the point that not even eating candy makes him happy anymore. He is no longer able to feel joy from eating human world food and enjoying sweets like his used to when he first came to the Human World. Thus, he is so desperate to feel some semblance of joy again that he even dares to try Dark Treats. Y’know the very thing that he’s been trying to stop the creation. The very thing his own mother warned him not to try.

And in trying Dark Treats, Shouma gets corrupted. Because that’s what Bitter Gavv looks like. An inverse Gavv with his titular red Gavv now being purple.

 Is BITTER Shouma even our Shouma?

There is also the possibility of Bitter Gavv can be an evil clone of Sweet Shouma?

After all, why did the Sugar Doctor pilfer a sample of Shouma’s hair and was observing his DNA?

Create a human/Granute hybrid that is able to transform into a Kamen Rider using Gavv’s power due to Sugar’s experiments with Hanto.

And we’ve also seen Gavv’s ability to produce Gochizmo’s be artificially done to produce another rider in the form of Nylev’s experiments with Vram.

We know from their encounters that Nylev and the Sugar Doctor exchange their scientific findings. That’s how the Sugar Doctor was able to fit Hanto with a Granute gland which I’m sure he got from Nylev. Just as how Nylev was able to produce the Vram System and artificial Gochizmos from what he learnt from the Sugar Doctor’s experiments with Hanto. And as we saw from this episode and the last, the Sugar Doctor has a sample of Shouma’s hair. His very DNA. So who’s to say that Bitter Shouma isn’t going to be the culmination of all of these experiments - an exact replica of Sweet Shouma cloned in a lab with all of his known abilities but none of his compassion.

I wouldn’t put it past Nylev and the Sugar Doctor to create an exact replica of Shouma/Gavv only purely evil with zero compassion for others including humans and serving Stomach Inc. Or at least Nylev because we don’t know what his true intentions are.

I don’t want to believe that Bitter Shouma is Shouma. But at the same time, there is evidence that this could be the case too. We know from the show that Shouma possesses suppressed memories of a timeline where he did encounter Hanto’s mom.

We KNOW from the show that there was timeline BEFORE Shouma was surgically fitted with the red Gavv by his grand uncle.

It makes me wonder if there was a period, when Shouma was very very young growing up in the Granute World where he was oblivious to the truth about his family’s business empire. His mother clearly knew which was why she warned him from young never to try Dark Treats.

I feel like ultimately it would be revealed that Shouma has a connection to both Hanto AND Lakia.

There has to be a connection between all three of these characters and these events. A connection that can help clear Shouma’s name and help him make peace with everyone especially Hanto and Lakia.

But who knows. I guess the next episode will reveal everything.

Until then, this squiggle meister is curious to know what other Kamen Rider fans and Gavv enthusiasts think is the true identity behind Bitter Gavv?

Is he really the “real” Shouma now corrupted by grief and bitter emotions as a culmination of everything that’s happened to him up to this point in the plot?

Is he suppressed manifestation of Shouma’s Granute half, rotten, ruthless and lacking compassion that has now been reawakened as a result of current events? Or is he an evil clone of the real Shouma as a result of another one of Nylev and the Sugar Doctor’s experiments in the name of Granute/human science?

What do you  guys think it could be?

Hey tumblrinas, I would love some techie advice.

i need a new computer. I've been limping on a 2015 HP but I want a desktop because they're cheaper and you can upgrade them. I want to be able to play RDR2 and actually see why everyone's amazed at the graphics. I wanna play AC Valhalla. I want it to easily run the Ciri Witcher game, whenever that drops. I want Veilguard to play perfectly.

I plan to get a used/refurbished/whatever tower because my budget is not very big (though I won't waste money on something that doesn't meet my needs; I'll save for longer if I gotta. pref to spend in the 400s though. I want to believe that isn't totally naive.)

So! I've never bought my own desktop. My plan is to get:

SSD at least 500gigs. should I combine SSD and HDD? like I said, budget's an issue. I'd rather have a terabyte of just SSD, but I don't know how costly it can get. I'm used to a terabyte on HDD on my laptop, and less would be a hassle. I have good internet, but sometimes I don't want to download and delete games constantly, and I have other stored stuff like writing and design* programs.

*like sketchup, not like photoshop or indesign or anything like that. not doing major rendering.

good video card. historically I've always gotten NVIDIA gaming cards for my laptop. open to other options. obviously I need more VRAM than my current 960GTX has.

Last time I felt this awful was after the plot forced Horobi to kill Izu for no reason. At least, the cause and effect made sense here.

The writer choose Shouma’s surname really well. He had problem communicating with people.

Hanto’s look of betrayal made me sad. But his action in the preview made me heartbroken.

I felt like Lakia not going to stay with the cast for long. He just had a lot of death flags.

Suga and Orange were not kind to their test subjects.

I saw a review where Valen used Vram’s equipment. Considering his animosity, there was no way he and Vram would work together. It might take a long times. Toei and Bandai would not wait for him to resolve his issues, so Lakia needed to die for them to sell toys.

I guessed Vram really was this season’s Dread.

Was Sachika going to be the next Vram? Personally, I disagreed she became a Rider. I would rather they brought in another female character to become a Kamen Rider.

A Dark Female Rider with their own unique Rider System would be nice.

Bitter Gavv was indeed Shouma’s clone. I wondered if he going to have his own name—or his own thoughts and personality. He kind of acted like a berserker.

How did Suga get the fund to clone a full-grown human? Was cloning tech was so cheap a shady scientist could do it in their own home?

Perhaps, in the next TTFC crossover, we would saw him and Orange working together with Foundation X or something.

The Stomach siblings were so weird, they were so disgusted with Shouma that they tried to kill him and refused to call him by name, but they still claimed him as little brother.

Shouma was the same; he hated them but still called them with respectful suffixes.

As a child, Shouma sure like to wander around. Was most of his knowledge about Stomach Inc. came from him eavesdropping?

Why did he search his mother in the Dark Treat factory? What was Michiru doing there?

Before pressing tech was invented, how the Stomach Inc. kept the kidnapped humans? They needed human’s happiness, so what did they do to keep the humans stayed happy?

I guessed Sae thought Shouma was one of the captives and her motherly instinct caused her to treat him kindly.

I wondered if Sae died in front of Shouma, causing him to be so traumatised he repressed his memory.

What if Sae died because of Shouma?

As if he did not have enough traumas already.

Why are "Crabs" and "Brazil" different flag categories? Arent they both "some image centered in the middle of a maybe-patterned-maybe-not field"? What's the difference and why's it enough to split the categories? Also would Mexico be a Crabs or a Brazil

so, to explain crabs:

The way VGAPride works is that it has a simple vector drawing language which is used to compose almost all the flags. so, like, a simple pride flag like the pansexual pride flag, which is just three stripes, will be coded like this:

It's basically just "draw a rectangle from here in this color", then another two stripes done the same way. Nearly every flag is done this way.

Now, the crab pride flags, are way more complicated. They are pixel art, technically: they needed manual dithering to fit into the right number of colors. That was tricky and involved a lot of me zoomed way in on an image, redrawing individual pixels and shit.

So instead of doing it like this with the vector commands, they're instead compressed as just pixels, but separated into multiple planes (because EGA is... weird) and then compressed with the LZ4 algorithm. So to display them, instead of doing a lot of vector shit, it just decompresses it into VRAM, job done. But they are in separate files because the "source code" for them is automatically generated by a python script, and I don't want it stomping on the manually defined vector commands.

And Brazil... Brazil is still a vector-defined flag. But it's one that's SO COMPLICATED compared to EVERY OTHER FLAG that I had to put it in a separate file to keep Borland Turbo C++ 3.0 from crashing trying to compile it.

Just about every other flag is some stripes and maybe a triangle or two. the Gay flag of Brazil is 6 stripes and a big diamond and a circle and a bunch of stars of different sizes and a white ribbon and some text. It's just SO COMPLICATED compared to everything else.

The second biggest pride flag is the Intersex-inclusive Progress Pride Flag:

That complicated flag with all the stripes and chevrons and circles is an amazing 21 commands!

Brazil is FIFTY SEVEN commands. (I even added a "Star" command to the vector language just to make it simpler!)

The second biggest and third biggest pride flags could fit inside the brazil pride flag WITH ROOM TO SPARE.

Anyway, the real question: Mexico: Crabs or Brazil?

Given the complexity of the mexican flag, if I had to add a mexican gay-pride flag, it'd probably be a crab.

followup to this post, another experiment in trying to get DeepSeek R1 to maintain a consistent, "secret" piece of information in the game "twenty questions" (in contrast to the standard "quantum" behaviour where it would collapse into an answer only at the end of the game).

running the 70b version of DeepSeek R1 (technically a 'distillation' over a smaller model, Llama 70B - don't ask me how that works technically because I don't know) is much slower than the smaller model I've been trying so far. (the full version probably wouldn't run even on this computer, they must use some kind of specialist setup.) I am pretty confident I could type faster than DeepSeek here, even running on a 4070Ti, though the actual GPU utilisation is quite low so there must be some bottleneck in there - probably shuffling data in and out of VRAM.

the first attempt, the model got confused and hallucinated that I had picked an object that was a mineral. the second time, I managed to get it to play along, and pick a secret object (albeit a rather uncreative one...). however, as soon as I asked a question, it continued to be confused about which one of us was asking and which one was answering internally, but managed to stay on course with its actual answer.

since DeepSeek seems to be programmed to do a certain amount of thinking before answering even a simple question like this, it spent the rest of its 'think' block speculating on what questions I might ask it in the future and how to (kinda patronisingly!) hint me towards the right answer.

not going to play a full game rn because generation is slow and I'm catching a plane in 10 and a half hours to go to switzerland, but this has been waiting for me to free up enough memory for ages so I thought I'd give it a quick go before I went to bed. as far as potential uses of LLMs in games: a model this size is way too slow to be usable and also takes up a ludicrous amount of RAM and VRAM. pretty much as expected. I'm not convinced the performance is hugely better either.

BG3 (and you) have broken me down enough that I want to play it. The most of the specs on my computer are good enough to play it (16 GB RAM, 700GB storage, i7 processor) but I don’t have an independent graphics card (Intel Iris XE) My graphics card can use up to 8GB of shared memory and the game only requires 8GB RAM and 4GB VRAM even though 16GB RAM and 8GB VRAM are recommended

I tried looking up if it would work and results were mixed. Some said it ran, some said it kept crashing, and most gamers said it wouldn’t work. I’m guessing the ones that work have at least 16 GB RAM so 4-8 can be dedicated to the graphics with still having at least 8 while the ones that don’t work have 8–12 GB RAM so it dips below 8 at times of intense graphics and crashes

All I can say is that BG3 is a lot of fun, and I definitely recommend it, but if your computer can't handle it, then definitely just watch a playthrough instead of buying it!

Playstation is better for running games like BG3, I think. PC gets too complicated, especially if you don't have one that you think can handle it.
