Today I chose wealth in the form of my health again. I broke in my new. Waist trainer for a workout and tested hitting the pavement. We walked to our grocery store a mile away instead of driving. First time doing 2 miles in over a year outside. It's feeling easier to breathe DAILY! I was almost on a verge of being winded by doing bare minimum activity. That is NO WAY TO LIVE. Day 4 and I'm still HERE. I'm committing to 30 consecutive days of workouts because that makes or breaks a habit. Today I'm still suffering from delayed soreness from the squats. I feel worse than yesterday. Yesterday I did stretches and body weight excises to help with recovery. I did the elliptical again today and it felt a little easier than last time to make it to the end. I barely realized when it was time to switch between intervals this time. These workouts are starting to feel as necessary and normal as eating to me again. Mentally the portion control is happening. I had a moment before now, before I took this last trip, before I realized I would either settle for what was easy or I would love the life that I live and do what it takes to achieve progressing in it again. There was a moment before now that I lived in denial about how bad things had gotten for my health. It was 2 actually. 1 time I was recording a video clip and during the playback I could hear my breathing, it almost sounded like I was out of breath after doing strenuous exercise yet I hadn't been doing ANYTHING, it was just how things were. The second time was after having one too many edibles by accident that were gifted to me. I could hear how much my heart was overcompensating to keep me alive. Workout #1 of 2 today. (Swipe right to see boobsweat) I tried to mentally commit to do an hour on the elliptical but I only verbally agreed to do 45 minutes. ** I wore the wrong underwear. EVERY transition from sitting to standing during my interval workout on the elliptical felt like pure hell. ** I've struggled to eat over the last few days. Last week I was in mourning and today I woke up realizing I have exactly a 2 month countdown to uphold.
