Try though she may Idelisa could not clear her mind. She had tried for days. Those days had rapidly turned into a week and that week into another. Without a shadow of a doubt she knew that she needed to go see him again. There were so many puzzle pieces missing that only he would be able to fill in for her. Hope had blossomed in her chest when he had kissed her, the look in his eyes extremely telling of feeling that neither of them had vocalized. She’d tried to fight it down, but that look came into her mind’s eye far too often. Eventually, she knew that she couldn’t resist anymore. 

When night had finally fallen, she’d made her way down to the dungeons where she nodded a greeting to the guard and making her way among the cells, stopping every few paces to do what she was pretending she was there for - to breath the word into this forsaken place. She drifted farther and farther from the sight of the guards, not that they were surprised, as she usually did during her rounds. Stopping in front of his cell everything seemed to crash in on her. Idelisa was absolutely terrified. Tears prickled at the edges of her eyes and her voice sounded far weaker than she would have liked as she called out his name in the darkness, “Osgar?”
