Hetalia Food/Drink Headcanons: Main Ensemble Edition
We all know North Italy has a love for pasta. One might imagine that he has a love for the "fancier" or more "complex" pasta dishes his home has to offer - and he does! - his absolute favorite dish is cacio e pepe. It reminds him of what Grandpa Rome would make for him when he was younger and needed a pick-me-up. Nobody makes it as good as Grandpa Rome, of course.
Germany has been coming around to IPA's over the last few centuries. If a world meeting is held at America's house, and if he and some of the other nations will go out for drinks afterward, he'll order one. He'd rather have a lager any day, but given that he's not a huge fan of America's take on lagers, he'll take the lesser of two evils. You might even get him to admit he kinda-sorta-almost likes them if he's tipsy enough - yes, even the hipster-y ones.
Japan has gone to every Ramen Jiro in Japan dozens of times over. He'd consider himself a Jirorian, doing his best to blend in with the students and salarymen who frequent the shops, and he likes to invite Greece and Prussia to accompany him on his trips to the "sacred" shop in Mita. (ie, the original Ramen Jiro) His go-to is the tonkatsu.
(more under the cut)
While America is and always be a fan of a good all-beef patty, he's become a fan of the "impossible," plant-based meats that are growing in popularity. He says eating plant-based burgers and hot dogs make him feel like he's living in a sci-fi movie - "in the future, people will GROW their meat!" - and appreciates the fact that most plant-based meat companies' environmental footprints are much smaller.
England is, of course, something of a tea aficionado, at least in the Western world. His "usual" is a nice Earl Grey, usually the Twinings brand - a fan since the beginning! - but he's been known to drink green or oolong, with China giving him suggestions on which blends he'd like best. Canada has been trying to get him to come around to the London fog variant of Earl Grey, but England is staunchly against trying it.
It actually took France a few decades to get his recipe for macarons right - they're finnicky little pastries! - but now that he's got it down, he loves making them. Watching him make these confections is like watching an artist at the easel or the marble block. In the last century or so, he's also gotten really creative with the flavors he uses for each batch, both successfully and unsuccessfully. He's gotten into the practice of making a batch of two dozen with unique flavors for each nation on their "birthday" - his favorite to date are the cherry blossom ones he made for Japan some time ago.
Russia has a tendency to over-season his food. If he's following a recipe with specific measurements provided - half a teaspoon of celery seed, a teaspoon of tarragon - it's not a problem. However, if he's going off of sight and feel alone, he puts in way too much, because "it never looks like there's enough!" By the time he gets around to tasting the food to check the seasoning, it's often too late. The worst offender is usually pepper, but most people are too intimidated? nice to complain.
There's a long-standing agreement that the nation whose house a World Meeting is held at is the nation who decides where everyone goes out for dinner - if the meeting is hosted in New York, America usually takes the nations to a steakhouse; if the meeting is hosted in Rome, North and South usually take people to a local pizza place; so on and so forth. When meetings are hosted at China's house, he, almost without fail, takes everyone out for hot pot. Everybody loves it, and they look forward to when meetings are hosted in Beijing. China is personally is a huge fan of the mutton, and has been for centuries.
South Italy makes the most unbelievable pizza ever known to man or nation. His favorite is the Pizza Margherita, which he perfected with Rafaele Esposito (the father of modern pizza) and has been eating since it first dropped at the Risorgimento in the 1860s, thank you very much. In fact, he used to work at Esposito's tavern Pizzeria di Pietro e basta così when he wasn't engaged with nation-y activities. In recent history, he grows his own San Marzano tomatoes and basil for the Margherita pizzas he makes, and he still uses the original dough recipe he picked up from Esposito. He could share it with you, but he'd have to kill you.
Prussia has swapped recipes with Poland for like, the past few hundred years, and much of the food he ate was influenced by Poland and, to some extent, Russia. His favorite thing to make, even after all these years, is Königsberger Klopse. He does tend to go a little heavy on the capers. Unrelated - one time, he accidentally ate some of Gilbird's gourmet seed blend, thinking it was snack seed mix, and didn't notice until about three handfuls in that it was not human/nation-grade product. Germany was there to see it, and is the only person that knows. He's been sworn to secrecy on the matter under the threat of blackmail.
Canada, as we know, is a fiend for ice cream, and he'll eat just about any brand of it that you offer to him. His favorite for "binging" is Chapman's, mostly because it comes in a cardboard box that can be deconstructed and laid out near-flat - no spoonfuls lost in the corners! He's also a fan of some of his brother's brands of ice cream, particularly Ben & Jerry's. He's been known to make the near 5-hour trek from his place to the factory in Waterbury, Vermont for a tour and free samples...multiple times a year, even...don't tell America this, or he'll get teased.

||The past haunting back; her final closure||
*Eating Ramen* Hi there. Time for another drabble it seems my dears. This time it comes around with my little void reaper and the Phantom Slasher. But even so, I still find them both pretty cool but also cute so what is this drabble about? Lets take a look
||Drabble Summary||
After so many long years, Vivi the void grim reaper demon's past has come back to haunt her when finding out the one man that took her human life away has returned. He found out about her still being alive but he was hunting other demons of the darkness. So now, she with Shdwkyz's help decide to confront him. Will she finally get her closure? What will happen read to find out.
||Warning||
~Fighting may be seen and noticed
~Blood and death will be seen here
~Maybe another confession? :3
||Guests in this drabble||
Shdwkyz a.k.a. The phantom Slasher belongs to my rp partner and friend @demon-blood-youths
Vivi a.k.a. the Void Grim reaper belongs to me.
{{Note: This will have grammar mistakes and errors so it's not perfect but this was written for fun of course and for my friend. I Hope you dears like it.))
Vivi couldn't believe this and yet she could. After all the years, she would finally be rid of him. She thought she killed him that night but it seems not. She was looking down at a building that was in the north side of NYC in the back. She got word from other dark/shadow demons that someone was haunting their kind down and leaving nothing but dead bodies behind.
Not taking this, she decided to check it out along with some help tonight. Her purple eyes looks to the building but she felt a light breeze blowing against her cloak.
"So he's in there you said from what Mouse found out?" she looks to the left to see her partner and close friend Sai a.k.a Shdwkyz The Phantom Slasher beside him.
"Yes; she told me he was seen in this building and it's not around any area of New York. I know for a fast he's in there with his followers hunting down others for something." she explains looking forward again. She felt happy deep down that Sai was here to help her. Ever since the two would always hunt down dirty criminals and sick freaks like this one, it was better than trying to fight against one another way back on their first meeting.
"Even so, the target is in there." she said but it was enough for him to nod.
"Fair enough. Lets go and invite ourselves in. I'm sure he wouldn't mind some company." Shdwkyz looks to Vivi who nods as well as the two head down while going towards the building. What Vivi didn't know is this night, the past has come to haunt her.
Both Shdwkyz and Vivi gets to the near seen entrance of this place, seeing the building looking rather rusty and old but new none the less. Could be due to trying to make it seem like it's abandoned. Well, with the guards walking by and all, it didn't seem like it for sure. Thanks to Fosh and Mouse they gave them a heads up about the location.
The two shadow demons goes into hiding seeing two guards on either side. Vivi and Shdwkyz looks to one another before going after one. He slithers within the shadows to show up behind the guy and cover his mouths pulling him into the dark then heard a grunt of pain then a thud. He knocked the guard out. Vivi was behind the other but she had a void snake quickly wrap around him but it bit his neck causing him to pass out after getting dizzy. She saw him being dragged away and hidden. The two look seeing the door but goes ahead and heads inside.
The inside was quiet, cold, and damp from the looks of it or could explain the rain. The walls were painted a dark brown color with the windows painted black so not much light can be shown outside. The floor was dirty and had some pieces of metal, rocks, concrete, and broken glass. Some of the doors were broken but that was the least of their worries. She looks around along with Shdwkyz seeing nothing here but many old items and computers?
"Seems this guy isn't the one to keep things clean is he?" she heard Shdwkyz said but his arms were crossed with her looking to him.
"No but he tends to be messy I guess..."she said reaching to touch her ear piece. "Mouse, where is the main target located?" she asked.
"Hold on and let me check.." She said checking right away while Fosh was working with her as he was checking the surrounding area on a map. "The target should be on the lower right side. Their should be a hidden doorway going down in the next room." she said.
"Are their any guards in that room?" Shdwkyz said asking Fosh and her.
"Nothing picked up but it seems their are two guards guarding the door from there. I have the code so you can get in when getting close to the door." Fosh said to him.
"Alright. We'll make our way there now." he said lowering his hand. "Come on Vivi.."
"Right.."
So the two kept going heading to the double metal doors going in deeper of this place. This whole building felt more like a warehouse, seeing nothing but older machines and broken down ones. She wonders who would keep this sort of building up or wouldn't it have been torn down. Well, it wouldn't matter.
The two demons kept walking through before getting to a railing that shows they were on the top floor of this level. They walk to look down, seeing their target.
A door was guarded it seems but the two had guns with them. Wearing gas masks as well while Vivi and Shdwkyz's eyes were glowing in the dark from where they were hidden.
Looking down, they move back into the darkness to take care of the two. The guards didn't do anything but while standing guard, they heard some noise before the light flickers.
"Huh? Ugh, is the damn light flickering again? I swear the boss picked a lousy place for a hideout." One said with the second looking to him.
"Oh don't be like that. I'll go and check on it just wait here." She said going to do that holding her gun. The guy shrugs waiting for her to come back as the light kept flickering. However, he didn't see a white masked youth behind him before the lights went out.
"Tch, damn it. Laya, did you-" that's when he got slashed deeply in the back spilling blood. He tenses from the cut feeling warm blood spilling and turns seeing no one. He wonders what hit him to get another slash on his side this time.
"Hello?! Who's there! Show yourself you coward!" he keeps looking even in the dark but he hopes the other would hurry up with the lights.
"You know it's not nice to call someone a coward..even when your not able to see in front of your face." a voice said in a hiss making the guy look around.
"Huh!? who said that!?" he said but the lights flickered for a moment to show a white masked youth there but he panics before it disappeared.
"The hell?! Who are you?! What are y-" he got stabbed in the shoulder but wincing in pain till he got knocked out moments after. Shdwkyz looks to him as the light came back on but he saw Vivi come back as well while looking to him.
"Did you take out the other guard?" he asked seeing her nod. "Alright...." he looks to see the door. "Fosh? Mouse? We are in front of the door. Ready when you are."
"Alright. Just a second. Hold your phone to the door or near the key panel there." Shdwkyz did that while seeing the jellyfish icon on his phone. He waits seeing Fosh now using a wi-fi signal to start hacking the key panel door while the two watches. Moments after the red light on the key pad blinks to ding showing green as the door was unlocked opening up for them.
"Were in. Thanks Fosh."
"No problem. You both can continue but be careful, it seems like something is down there." He said warning the two as Vivi and Shdwkyz looks down the stairs leading down deeper. Yeah, something about this felt...off. However, they went down slowly and quietly. The sound of their footsteps was heard as they went down. Dripping noises was heard while some light was seen but not much.
The two kept walking down the stairs but noticed some light there. Huh? Their was something there! The two look at one another but hurries down to the bottom of the stairs to see the main location. However, they were shocked in what they found. The bottom was holding some underground lab it seems. Their was some scientists there working on something with some guards and hunters there.
Some was doing things but Vivi and Shdwkyz said nothing before their looks looks up seeing a male standing in front of something. He seems rather old, around his 50's. His hair was cut low but it almost seems like he was bald. He was wearing an assassin outfit, scars are visible on him but his hand was scared from old burn marks. His eyes (One normal and the other faded of it's color) was touching a giant black spear that seems to be holding something inside. Or something.
Vivi didn't say much but she felt the energy coming from that spear to make her frown.
"What..the hell is that?" Shdwkyz said but Vivi said nothing that her eyes slowly looks at it.
"......Cries of pain...I can hear cries of demons from that spear...." he heard her say to look at her, but was quiet. Vivi's voice was cold but suddenly dark like she wanted to kill the man there. She didn't know why but something about him made her want to. "It seems we stumbled upon something dark...like it's powers of other dark demons and creatures." she said but Shdwkyz was shocked. That's not possible is it? If that's the case then the spear was.....
Before they heard, something grabs the two from behind as Shdwkyz and Vivi struggles. They tried to break free but both got violently shocked screaming out to alert the guards who now had the two. Vivi kicks the one holding her away with Shdwkyz elbowing the other hard in the face.
Damn, the other guards saw and flicked the switch that shows the two fighting off some. However, they got ambushed by more guards to make them get taken. Both their weapons were taken from them in the struggle. Both were forced to move now to the lower area but getting a closer look they didn't like the view.
Their was other demons and others here but they were either cut open, blood spilled over the table. Some was strapped down but was drained of something. Others were chopped up into bits and would be sold off later. And more horrors the two can see.
Now both Shdwkyz and Vivi were grabbed from behind on their knees by the guards but the man that heard this was told of the intruders while seeing he might have more guests.
"Well, this is unexpected. We got more guests tonight. That means more money." he didn't face them but Shdwkyz and Vivi can see the ring on his finger.
"........"
"......."
"But I'm more shocked...I was not expecting to see 'You' again, little Isabella."
Huh? He knew her? Vivi looks at him but her eyes were still hidden under the hood of her cloak. "What are you talking about? I don't even know who you are.." she hissed but the man sighed to smile.
"That's a shame..because I do." He said slowly turning around to face them. Shdwkyz saw the man and yeah, he looked messed up. However, his eyes looks to Vivi's hidden face but her purple eyes widen.
"............Hello again little viper. Long time no see.." he chuckled but she only remains quiet.
"N..n..no way. No fucking way.." Shdwkyz looks to her, not expecting to hear that sort of tone from her. Wait, did she knew this guy for real?!? She didn't say anything but from how she said it, she sounded hurt as he walks to look at her. He even forces the hood off her head showing her long white hair braided with a black bow at the end.
"How..." she whispered looking down but her hands tighten into a fist. "How the hell are you still alive?" she snarled looking up at him but the man smiled.
"So you do remember me. I'm touched and here I thought you would forget me. It's been so long even after that night." he said but Shdwkyz was confused.
"Who the hell are you? How do you know her?" he asked but he had a feeling or a guess as the man looks to him.
"How I know her? Well, I was the one that met her many years back...when she was just a poor sweet little girl. But, I was doing a bounty that night going after targets and lucky me..she with her parents were on my list." he smiled but Vivi looks down shaking.
"...Her.....parents? Wait, if that's the case.." he started to say seeing the guy chuckle.
"Yep. I was the one that made her young life a living hell. A nightmare where I kidnapped her, her family and had fun. I will say she grown up to be a nice young lady hasn't she? Just like her mama...." he said but he grips her chin forcing her to look up but got angry. "Killed her mother first with a bullet to the head....then forced her father to drink snake venom so she can see them suffer...It was fun right?" he laughed as Vivi looks ready to cut his head off.
"I did kidnap her and her family in the past, even broken her down a few times as a kid to a teenager but.....this little bitch destroyed everything and got out. She thought she killed me but I slipped away before the place burned down. Since then, been in hiding till I was fine to get back and find her. And lucky me..I have." he said but pushes her back as she was forced back up.
"But..didn't work did it." he said but Vivi winces that her eyes glares at him. "But I had fun doing it......seeing that fear in your eyes...it was nice along with seeing the pain of losing your parents.." he said that Vivi was glowing darkly to her shaking.
" Y..You….you fucked up son of a.." she started to say but got kicked in the gut making her cough bending over.
"Vivi!"
"Oh well, now I can get back at her. I guess your wondering about what is happening to. I'm already hunting demons on my part and lucky me; you two seem to be on that list.....what better way to get revenge by draining the very dark power that other old snake gave her?" he laughed to look. "This orb behind me has a lot of the dead shadow/dark element demons in New York. I found so many I was able to have this much. And with you two, that's more power....all I have to do make sure to drain you both dry but..I'll let you see it first hand...but you...you'll be the first to get drained." snapping his fingers, Vivi was forced up and moved over to the orb as she was struggling in their holds.
"Vivi!!" Shdwkyz looks but glares at the other with his yellow serpentine eyes. "Let her go!" he said but two guards punches him in the gut having him cough hunched over.
"No. Your going to watch as I add her power. The void grim reaper! With this, her power will be wonderful to boost this...even better better. I get my revenge on the bitch....I finally can have closure after so long.." he laughed as Shdwkyz hisses twitching.
"D..damn you..." he growled but saw Vivi strapped down as she sees two guards now forcing her head back while she was wincing. They even saw the darkness in that orb reacting towards her as the dark energy was flowing.
"Now...lets sit back and watch. She will be such a nice addition but who knows? You might end up working alone again because you'll never see her again!" he said laughing but Shdwkyz struggles again. The guy walks over to her but grips her white snow hair making her look up.
"Finally..after so many years..I caught you again. The little sneaky bitch as I say. You'll pay for what you did to my base, my men, and me. I'll be sure you are fully drained.." he chuckled but he pushes a button as Vivi struggles when the machine begins humming powering up. She was unsure of what is happening before black lightening shocks hit her making Vivi cry out.
"ISABELLA!!" Shdwkyz shouted now angry but the man slams his foot in his face or mask making him lay back. He felt the blow from that but hisses at him as the guards keep him down.
"I said just watch! After I drain her of every drop, your next! You don't have long to wait!" he laughed hearing her screaming behind. It hurt like hell but Vivi winces that she saw her own void demonic blood boiling while being drained of her power. She shuts her eyes from the pain even if she was angry. She didn't want to die like this! She was going to get him back for this! What he did to her and her parents!
However, her old memories did flash before her eyes while she was remembering. The final smile of her mama; the reaching of her father's hand. She then sees new memories too:
Meeting Jinx and the other girls. Meeting the fractions of NYC. And....even seeing Sai's gentle expression with eyes closed and that normal grin. He was someone closer to her but she grits her teeth mad. As the machine was draining her of her dark power...something was wrong.
The man didn't notice yet but he will when hearing some alarms from the machine. "Huh?"
"Sir! Something is happening! The dark essence in the orb is being drained!"
"WHAT!? Drained!? Turn up the power then! I want her drained dry!" he orders seeing him doing that. The machine did more trying to drain her but it only got worse with the place shaking violently now. Yeah, something was wrong. The orb then cracks as he looks to Vivi who was now glowing but the dark energy from that orb was being drained...it was being absorbed by Vivi!
The area was now shaking worse and worse, seeing shadows and cries from the other deceased demons that was killed. She couldn't stop screaming as the orb was drained faster and faster until...it was empty and the machine crashes and smokes. It stops to show Vivi lowering her head smoking now but the dark area was flowing from her body.
"...Vivi!! Vivi can you hear me!?" Shdwkyz said struggling in the now scared guards hold but she didn't respond. The man got angry seeing her not move but he got angry walking over with a gun in hand.
"Damn little....you know what?! I'll kill you instead! You broke it but I'll be sure you pay for this!" he said about to shoot her till.....something sliced in front of him by the gleam of metal. The guy's eyes blink seeing red as he heard a thud. The guards gasped seeing their boss's hand was cut clean off from his wrist leaving a bloody stub. It took a moment before he screams in agony but Shdwkyz still felt something wrong. The straps on her burned up in a purple flame as she was free but she didn't move.
"What...the fuck?! What the fuck happened!?" he said but the area was showing a mix of black and dark purple as Vivi was looking down. That's when giant mouths with sharp teeth begin showing up to gobble up the scientists as each screams in a panic being eaten alive. Some got ripped in half, others chewed up whole. Some of the guards tried to shoot them but ends up killed or stabbed. The man said nothing trying to shoot Vivi but they got deflected by a void shield that was dripping like slime. Vivi then lifts her head up but Shdwkyz saw some scars on her. The shadow aura was coming off of her like smoke, her white hair had some black tips at the end along with her demonic markings glowing a dark purple.
She slowly opens her eyes but Shdwkyz noticed something new. Her purple eyes didn't look normal; she had the eyes of a viper snake. Her iris looked thin but still shows of a demonic look, the white part was still visible but it was a bit darker. Her neck now had some demonic Mehndi design on her as she looks to the male. He was about to shoot but his other hand got cut off. He screams as the two guards holding Shdwkyz down got killed or eaten by corrupted looking ghouls as she slowly walks over to the now bleeding hunter.
"Stay back you fucking bitch! Stay back!!" he said but she she had void vipers wrap around him pretty tightly as they were biting into his skin. He winces feeling the venom flowing in his blood as she walks over. Her white hair went undone by the braid while it flows behind her like some cape.
"Come o..on, let me go! Spare me alright!? I'll stop hunting others! I'll stop! Please!" the man now was scared but Vivi's eyes widen hearing his plea. She only got more angry feeling the place corrupting by her power or boosted power. Did the other shadow demons's area give her a power up!?
"¿Te atreves a pedir que te perdonen? No, no te perdonaré. Hiciste de mi vida un infierno. La destruiste y te la llevaste…" (Translation: you dare ask to be forgiven? No, I won't spare you. You made my life a living hell. You destroyed it and took it away..)
The man got scared but Vivi looks down at him while she also bared viper teeth that shows.
"Mataste a mi papá, a mi mamá… ¡me los quitaste! Incluso cazaste a las pobres almas de otros demonios oscuros en la ciudad de Nueva York" ((Translation: You killed my papa, my mama..you took them from me! You even hunted down the poor souls of other dark demons in New York City."))
She saw the void snakes show more as others wrap around him now starting to coil around him breaking his bones as he winces. She slowly held her hand to the side, summoning her scythe but even it was made of the void darkness with the blade sharper and more deadlier.
"Tú… no mereces el maldito derecho… de ser perdonado. Mereces sufrir por el dolor que trajiste. Esta vez…" ((Translation: You….you don't deserve the fucking right…to be spared. You deserve to suffer for the pain you brought. This time…."}}
She slowly raised the blade as his eyes was wide. "Wait, wait, wait!"
" ¡Esta vez, sufrirás en el pozo más profundo del infierno demoníaco! ¡No dejaré que me quites a nadie más!" ((Translation: "This time, you will suffer in the deepest pit of demon hell! I won't let you take anyone else from me ever again!"))
As the guy tries to talk, Vivi swings her blade clean down in front of him. He didn't talk feeling the cut but he chocked feeling blood running down from his eyes and chin. Vivi saw him bleeding as it drips on the ground only for the ghouls to begin coming up and rip his body apart. She was silent watching him but she heard him screaming in pain while Shdwkyz was shocked.
He's never seen her this angry before, snapping like that but..he even sees blood pooling around the guy as he was brutally murdered right there. He saw her look quiet but hearing more of the screams of hunters dying and scientists being killed. Or maybe it's due to the large human sized viper snakes slithering around. As he was trying to take this in, he heard a static noise in his ear.
"*Static* Sh...*buzz and static noise* in! Shdwkyz can-*buzzing noise* hear me?! What is going on!? The energy of demonic power is...off the charts!? What's going on!?"
".....It's Vivi! Something happened after the shadow energy from the other demons the target killed was absorbed!" He said seeing the place now starting to rot now.
"Shdwkyz, you have to calm her down!! I just got a message from her devil, Vivi can't control that yet and it's too much on her body! You need to calm her down before she-"
"Before she what!? Mouse!? Fosh!!" he looks to Vivi as she was looking down but he was wondering what is happening!? She was crying now but before moving he got another message or three in his head.
"Shdwkyz! Can you hear me!?"
'Huh? Goa!? How did y-'
"Nevermind! You need to calm her down! Orochi and Naga are sensing her losing control. You need to bind her and calm her down before she goes on a rampage!"
'Rampage!? How the hell can I do that if she's like this-'
'If you don't, she'll end up attacking New York City by mistake! Just do something!'
"She's right. Vivi is trying to keep it contained but it's hurting her. You have to get through to her before she loses it!" Nagi was speaking to him while Orochi was worried.
Calm her down or talk to her!? How the hell can he...wait. Shdwkyz looks seeing Vivi still rotting this place but he had to try something before going to her. "Vivi!" she tenses to hear his voice looking at him while her eyes were darkened.
"Vivi, calm down! It's me, Shdwkyz. Come on, snap out of it!" he said but the building got worse while the energy was worse now. She was holding her scythe tightly in her hand but she turns about to raise it.
"Vivi, listen to me. I know you can hear me! You have to stop! You stopped the asshole from hurting anyone else. It's over now!" he said as she listens to him but the scythe was held up more like she was going to.......he dodges seeing her swipe it but he then quickly sees his katana to take it out and block her blade.
".........."
"I know it must have hurt to see that asshole after what he did to you! To your family! I get it! I know you must have been in so much pain you thought he did but didn't...But it's over now! You already stopped him and he won't come back but if you don't calm down you'll end up destroying yourself and your home! Do you want that!?" he said but her eyes widen as he looks to her.
'Keep going Shdwkyz!' Goa, Nagi, and Orochi said but he looks to her but did feel the shaking easing off. He saw her then lower the blade but he reaches to see her tense and tighten her hold.
"Easy..it's alright now. Please just calm down......it's over now Vivi.." He reaches to touch her shoulders that she brings her blade down right onto his shoulder. He winces feeling the blade cut into his shoulder as it was showing blood but he quickly looks at her to hold her shoulders. He then pulled her to hold her.
"It's okay......Your alright, You got your closure. You won't get hurt by him anymore. Please..please snap out of it Isabella."
The building shook worse and worse that it was almost like a earthquake but as she was looking up Shdwkyz felt something else. He saw the void shadows disappearing while he sees it all retreating back towards her. Vivi didn't move but her white hair returns to normal being the same snow white but it was loose and out from the braid. She didn't say a word but he then felt something else.
Her hands were gripping the back of his hoodie while her eyes went back to normal too with the scythe disappearing too. She was weak but she was back to normal with tears forming. Shdwkyz said nothing but only looks ahead seeing the now destroyed rotted lab and building.
"..It's okay......your alright now." he said as she was crying but he only feels her not doing much but a slight whisper was heard.
' Yo… yo… lo… lo siento. Lo siento mucho…' ((Translation: "I…I'm..s….sorry. I'm so sorry….')) She said this to him but before he responses, she went link in his arms to show she passed out.
"Isabella!?" he said pulling her back but she was really really weak. "Isabella, wake up-"
'Calm down, Shdwkyz, she just passed out. She over did it but she'll be fine in a few hours.' He heard Nagi say but he keeps silent but sighed. 'For now, just get out of there..I think thanks to what she did, this place will be condemned and broken down. But for now, go...'
"...What happened to her? What was that?" He asked.
"We don't know, it was something new to us....seems our little viper got a power boost...but we'll speak of that later. Please take her out and leave this place. The place is done but leave before the police show up."
Shdwkyz said nothing but he looks to Vivi's tired face to carefully pick her up and carry her on his back. He saw and heard the rotted place with the squishing noises of the slime like rot left behind. He hurries up the stairs with Vivi as he was wondering himself. Moments later he got back out but hurries off with Vivi before the police arrived. Looking back, he saw them surrounding the area before looking at a very exhausted Void grim reaper. Her face was looking peaceful but he saw her white snow long hair moving in the breeze.
Looking ahead, he goes to return Vivi to her team but also ask Ophelia to help with the healing if need. However, from what he saw, he didn't know but he felt his very soul almost leave him when seeing what she did. Even so, he hopes from this night, Vivi finally got closure. However, the new demonic markings on her neck remained and the ones on her hands and up to her arms improved. Seems he'll learn more about in the future for now, he wanted her to rest.

A North American Break.
I've spent the last couple of weeks in New York and Toronto - New York for Dan and Kara's wedding, and Toronto just to drop by home and see family and friends since it was so close. Clark picked me up from JFK and as we were driving along the highway into the city, I felt a steadily rising affection and nostalgia for North America. I love the skyscrapers, I love the grid-laid streets, I love the inexplicable and boundless sense of forward possibility. I stayed with Clark (and his girlfriend Rathna, who I happily met for the first time) in Williamsburg, which was super convenient because that's where the wedding and all the wedding events were happening (a fact I did not realize beforehand). We got pizza the first night and everyone we interacted with was so full of character, personality and energy. Williamsburg is a hip and creative part of Brooklyn, and people walked around with a kind of selfless entitlement I find difficult to properly capture in words - kind of like an obvious yet understated confidence that never veered too far into outright cockiness - like everyone knew they deserved to take up space but weren't rude about it, and understood that everyone else deserved to take up space too. I can see myself living in a place like Williamsburg after London, and my stay there has really got me considering it. It was hot the whole time so I almost exclusively wore various tank tops and pairs of shorts, and cute boys would smile at me and nice girls would compliment my outfits. The city felt joyful and alive. The wedding itself was beautiful. I was there when Dan and Kara first met, so it was incredibly touching to see how far they've come and be part of the beginning of a new stage of their lives. I love love, and the sweltering heat of the day could not take away from the tender beauty of it. I unexpectedly got to see a lot of people I didn't expect to see while I was in the city. It turns out Renee was there for the same weekend, so we went dancing the night I arrived and hung out with a bunch of her friends a bit the next day. I saw Wusky (who I haven't seen in years) for dinner and got to meet his lovely wife. And my brother was also in town visiting his girlfriend Alison, so they joined me, Clark, Rathna and a couple of our friends at Birds of a Feather for dinner the last night I was there. And then I went to Toronto, which will always always always feel like home. I got to see my friends, and hang out with my siblings, and it was nice to spend a bit of the summer there. I had ramen with Megan on Wednesday night, met up with Conor, Renee, Joff, Gemma and my sister on Thursday night (and watched Legally Blonde at Corktown Common), hung out with the Meta crew + Bram on Friday night (with a special and coincidental guest appearance by Bre at Petty Cash), went to Bre's BBQ before going out dancing with Camilla, Conor and Keyana at Beam Me Up on Saturday night, and then had my goodbye/congratulatory dinner with my family on Sunday night. I flew back on Monday, walking through a storm to St. Patrick station with all my luggage. The rain poured down harder than I remember it pouring in Toronto and I would later learn that I had walked through the beginnings of a flood. Now I'm back in London, wiling away the days until I start my new job. I'm going to make a list of things to do on weekdays that I won't be able to easily do once I start working. And maybe play a video game or two. It's strange: while I was in Toronto I realized I've missed it a lot, but I also feel happy to be back in London. I've gotten used to the energy here and my life and routine. And I think once I start my new job, I'll really start feeling more settled and attached to the city. I'm excited to get back to work.
