Can we just normalize body hair on women already…?
•| ⊱✿⊰ |•
Like I mean, seriously y'all... I don't want to spend four hours in the shower every two nights shaving every part of my body to appear smooth and hairless like society sells us to be… ;-;

˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ I AM A WOMAN. ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥
I HAVE NORMAL BODY HAIR, ON MY ARMS, FACE, TORSO, LEGS, UNDERARMS, BACK, BUTT, WOMAN PARTS, FINGERS, AND EVEN MY TOES!
SOME OF IT IS DARK AND COURSE, SOME IS LIGHT AND FINE, SOME MIGHT JUST BE PEACH FUZZ…
💖 IT’S NORMAL. I’M BEAUTUFUL. 💖
☆‧͙⁺˚*・ IF YOU THINK OTHERWISE YOU GO HUG ON A RAW CHICKEN IF THAT’S WHAT YOU LIKE, YOU PIECE OF UNREALISTIC TRASH… ☆‧͙⁺˚*・

Body hair on women is totally normal and natural. A woman having chest hair is okay. Women can grow a beard or a mustache. Women can grow hair on their forearms. Women can grow body hair. Body hair on women is totally natural. Not just the hair on your legs and armpits but the hair everywhere.

Me: so anyway yeah the doctor's appointment went fine
My mom: gee I wonder what they thought about your Hairy Unshaved Legs
***
Me: yeah I had a great day hanging out with my friends
My mom: oh I wonder were you wearing shorts? Shorts that showed how you don't shave your legs?
***
Me: I met x new person today they seem nice!
Mom: hmm. Do THEY shave their legs
***
Me: yeah I just read today on the couch it was so nice and chill
My mom: oh? Reading about other women who don't shave?
***
Me: yup just doing some cooking currently
Mom: right, right from the cookbook "Recipes for Women with Hairy Legs"?

*in body hair debate*
“I don’t like body on hair on women OR men, I think it’s gross no matter what therefore it’s not any societal conditioning, I just don’t like it out of personal preference. Everybody should shave.”
Why do you think that preference is there in the first place? Can you think and tell me where that came from🧐🧐🧐

saw a post of someone unironically claiming there is some large conspiracy of cis women with PCOS identifying as transfeminine... so out of touch. ime the vast majority of people with PCOS are cis women who are offended to even be considered intersex. online spaces focused on PCOS are kinda transphobic and mostly focus on weight loss and restoring your natural (read: female) hormonal balance and whatnot. like sorry but the vast vast majority are not doing that. and i trust the few ones who do to have a legitimate connection to the term.

We need feminism so I can have more points of reference for hirsutism without going thru Google images circle of hell. One day it suddenly occured to me that some people might not have an ass thats hairy as hell and tbh that's kind of sad! Its warm and fuzzy back there its great

Thinking about the time when I heard my kid say, "[Indiscernible mumbling] armpit hair is really long!" And, knowing that I hadn't shaved in a while and was wearing a tank top, I assumed she was talking about me, so I nodded and calmly said, "Yep, all adult humans have body hair!"
And then she looked at me like I had two heads and said, "I was talking about Romeo!" *points at the cat lounging on top of the kitchen cabinets with one arm propped over the edge, shaggy black armpit hair clearly visible*
Me: "Oh. Ok, yeah! You're right! Hahahahaha!"

it annoys me so much to see women who look so well put together all the time like you have no business looking normal after a day at a race track when it was 30°C +

‘net zero information’ of the day: was wondering why i have so many hairs that are actually two hairs in the same follicle and apparently it’s ‘pili multigemini’ which is a ‘rare developmental disorder’ except the one paper i’ve found that actually looked for it (rather than discovering it incidentally) found that every single participant had it to some degree, yet every website talking about it still says it’s rare. a bunch of them also recommend their skincare products for preventing it so wow shocking
