Excerpt from The Journals of Warden Nobori: A Glimpse into the Mundanities of Hisuian Life.
Part of Sinnoh Historical Society Digital Collections.
Klio Mizuki
Documents of the late Hisui Era, vol. 16, no. 10.
Once again, I find myself in the infirmary, though despite Warden Yūgao’s insistences, I feel that the reason this time is far less frivolous than usual. Unfortunately, the injury is far more serious- it is likely that I will be unable to walk far for quite some time. I have been told that my pelvis is fractured. This is not surprising, but it is painful and irritating. Still, I believe it was worth it.
I was sent to forage in the icelands. While I was told of the Alpha Garchomp that makes its territory in this area, I believed that I was outside of its range- unfortunately, I was not. At first, I thought I was rather lucky, as it did not seem to notice me, but it was not good luck for me. Rather, it was bad luck for some poor Gligar, who the Alpha Garchomp was focused on defeating, presumably to eat. While I am no longer squeamish about hunting and butchering Pokemon for sustenance, something about seeing a Pokemon that normally sports a distinctive grin no longer “smiling” wounded my heart.
What I did next was foolish, I will admit. I should have thrown snowballs to stun the Alpha Garchomp. I was not thinking. Instead, I ran directly to it. The next time I see Warden Hamarenge*, I will be sure to thank him, though he may not appreciate the implication that his self defense lessons emboldened me to punch an Alpha Garchomp in the snout. This did work to temporarily stun it, and the Gligar immediately took the opportunity to flee. I was not as quick as him. The Garchomp grabbed me in its mouth and, to tell the Truth, I thought that I would die right there. Thankfully, the Gligar had not fled far. Perhaps he felt indebted to me, because he attacked the Garchomp, causing it to drop me.
The two of us were able to flee, if only barely. The cold atmosphere of the icelands seems to slow even such a swift Pokemon as Garchomp, and a mixture of Mud Bombs and snowballs eventually convinced it to leave us alone. As I write this, he clings to my shoulders, watching as if he can read the words I am writing. He was wary at first when Warden Yūgao began to inspect my injuries, and became angry when it became apparent that her treatment was causing me pain, though I managed to calm him. I shall have to remember to ask her what is in the poultice that she applied to the bite mark, though I am certain that she will tell me anyways, considering my track record with injury.
If nothing else, it soothes my heart to finally have a Pokemon as a companion. While it is not all that common in the Pearl Clan, I have often felt jealous at the sight of Clan Leader Kai^ with her Eevee, or Warden Yūgao with her Bidoof. Perhaps, wherever I was before Hisui, I too had a Pokemon as my partner. Perhaps they are even wondering where I am. I am uncertain if the naming of Pokemon is a common practice here, but it feels right to me to do so. I feel that I should consider the matter more carefully, but for now, when I look at this Gligar’s smiling face, only one name comes to mind: Em. Perhaps this shall suffice.
*[This is the Hisuian name of the Warden known as Gaeric.]
^[This is the Hisuian name of Clan Leader Irida.]
[The translators do not recommend punching any wild Pokemon, let alone an Alpha. Warden Nobori’s actions were reckless and should not be imitated.]

Consider: Pokemon Yuu, but specifically from Legends Arceus.
• They're extremely distrustful of adults because of their unlawful banishment after the sky turned red and later their betrayal by a Certain Someone during the postgame (if you know you know).
• They can dodge attacks (both magical and non-magical) like it's nothing due to their experiences with the Nobles and pissed-off Alphas.
• They kept their satchel and somehow have access to the pastures in Twisted Wonderland (because Arceus is playing favorites again), so they carry around Smoke Bombs and stunning items for emergencies and when using their Pokemon isn't an option.
• Their team consists of all Alphas, the starter they picked when they first joined the Survey Corps (could be any of the three but for now I'll say Samurott since that's the one I picked), and a Sylveon for emotional support.
• They use the same strategies on the Overblots that they used on the Nobles: dodge like your life depends on it, throw things (in this case Sticky Globs) to stun and slow them down, and then sick their Pokemon on them to beat them into submission.
• They're unfazed by Ramshackle's conditions because they've lived in worse conditions. They like the ghosts, though, because they remind them of the ghost mons they had back in Hisui. Grim doesn't faze them either, as they've dealt with far worse things than a weird, fire-breathing Glameow.
• They are So Tired and the next person who tries them is getting Cheesecake the Alpha Garchomp sicced on them.
1) first off amazing these are so good and valid and I woukd live for a feral yuu used to wrangling worse. Imagine this crazy cat (animal?? Idk) person just going up to each blot and lifting their sleeved ready to throw down
2) Okay this gives me an excuse to rant about this bit I'm replaying the BW series
What everyone had pokemon right? Malleus would have a bunch of Dragons as expected HOWEVER
what if his Ace pokemon was Zekrom? And Yuu was summoned with the White Orb (Reshiram)
It would make perfect sense for foreshadowing. Think about it. Yuu is gonna have to go against Malleus with the opposite dragons who used to be friends. But also it shows their values.
Malleus doesn't wasn't Yuu to leave. He wants to be treated normally. He doesn't want Lilia to get old. He wants an ideal life. An ideal world
Yuu on the other hand? They have to poke around and help others by making them face the truth. They need to learn the truth of this world in order to go home.
When they fight its a clash between truth and ideals, but they both lack the resolution (Kyrem)

The Warden's Daughter
This is part of the au where Ingo adopts Rosie in Hisui. Her parents were killed by an alpha, and Ingo managed to save Rosie, then adopted her. Anyway, I've been having thoughts about this au, so like any normal person, I wrote a 2800 word fic and drew this! Enjoy!
Fic below the cut!
Ingo looked down at the small freckled girl lying in the cot. She was asleep in the medical tent in the Pearl Clan settlement. Thanks to him, she was no longer at the receiving end of an alpha Garchomp's attacks. Unfortunately, he had been too late to save her parents.
"She should wake up shortly," Calaba said as she was busy cleaning up her tools and packing away her med kit. "Luckily, she only sustained a few scratches and just one nasty gash on her forehead. Her wounds should heal eventually."
Ingo nodded, but he knew that even if her physical wounds healed, her life would never be the same. Silently, he promised himself he would help find someone who could take care of this young girl.
~~~~~
Ingo woke up about a week later to the sounds of sniffling and stifled crying. He groggily opened his eyes and blinked a few times as his vision adjusted to the darkness. (Luckily for him, that wasn't much of a difficulty due to his natural ability to see well in the dark.) As he looked for the source of the noise, his eyes landed on Rosie, the little girl he had saved.
After lots of discussions with Irida and the other wardens, as well as a few of the clan elders, it was decided that Ingo would take care of her. She had grown to be the most comfortable with him over anyone else, she had no other known family available, and Ingo himself agreed that he could take care of her. And now, here she was, sitting up in her bed across the tent from him, crying.
"Rosie?" Ingo's voice was rough from disuse during the night as well as general tiredness, but he at least managed to keep his volume low. Rosie still jumped a little as she watched him sit up.
"M-Mr. Ingo! I'm sorry!" she whimpered in between sniffles. "Did I wake you?"
"It's alright," Ingo said as he was already making his way over to her. He sat on the edge of her bed. "What's wrong?"
"I... I just had a bad dream," Rosie replied. Being reminded of her dream, a few new tears slipped down her cheeks. She started to hiccup in between sobs and sniffles.
"Do you want a hug?" Ingo held out his arms. Rosie nodded and quickly flung herself at him, burying her face in his chest as she cried. Ingo held her and rubbed her back, wrapping himself around her protectively as he did so.
"It's alright. Everything is okay now. You're safe with me, I promise," he assured her quietly.
It took a little while, but eventually, Rosie's sobs died down and she was able to relax a bit. She leaned against Ingo, now visibly tired out.
"Do you want to try sleeping again?" he asked. She hesitated a moment, then nodded.
"...Can you stay here with me in my bed?" she pleaded, looking up at him. Ingo nodded and wiped at a few of the tear streaks still on her face.
"Of course, if that would help you feel more comfortable."
With that, Ingo helped tuck Rosie in again like he had done earlier that evening, but this time, she scooted over to make room as he got in bed with her. She cuddled up against him and Ingo wrapped his arms and the blanket around her.
"Good night, Rosie."
"Night night, Mr. Ingo..."
~~~~~
Rosie was afraid of pokemon. Ingo realized it a few days later while they were still staying in the settlement. Calaba had insisted she wanted to monitor the four-year-old's injuries to make sure they were healing properly before they left. Ingo normally didn't like to be away from his noble for too long, but he completely agreed with his fellow warden in this situation.
Now, not many pokemon were in the settlement apart from a few curious Bergmite or the partner pokemon of the leader and the wardens who were staying there. But Ingo noticed that Rosie never got too close to the Bergmite around the edges of the settlement and she always hid behind Ingo whenever Irida passed by with her Eevee, or Gaeric with his Glalie, or Calaba with her Bibarel. She even hid inside Ingo's tent whenever he let his Gligar, Tangela, and Machop out for their meals or to let them have some play time outside.
It made sense though, as Ingo thought about it. Her parents had no pokeballs on them and they didn't seem to have any partner pokemon with them, so she didn't grow up around the creatures. And she was recently attacked by an alpha, which would scare anyone. But there was a problem with this situation. Ingo had three pokemon, and he was the warden to Lady Sneasler. Rosie would have to be around pokemon if he was going to be her caretaker.
It was just after they had dinner in their tent that Ingo decided to bring this up to her.
"Rosie, can I ask you something?" he asked as he piled their wooden dishes in a bin so he could take them out to wash later. He could vaguely remember being able to wash things easily indoors before at some point, but the memory was hazy and just a vague fact at best.
"Uh-huh!" She was now wandering over to the dresser, standing on her tiptoes to reach the notepad and pencils Ingo got for her to draw with recently. Ingo walked over and grabbed the desired art tools and handed them to her.
"Rosie, are you afraid of pokemon?" His question made her freeze for a moment. She then looked down as she lifted the notepad up to hide the lower half of her face.
"...Maybe," she mumbled.
"It's okay if you are," Ingo told her. "You're not in any trouble here. I just wanted to know."
Finally, Rosie nodded.
"They're just scary! They're so strong and-and they have powers to hurt people!" Rosie exclaimed. A few tears formed at the corners of her eyes as she hugged her notepad to her chest. Ingo knelt down to be closer to her height.
"I know they can be scary," he said calmly as he used his sleeve to wipe at her tears. "But they can also be great friends and partners. Wild pokemon can be dangerous, yes, but once you catch them and they can agree to be your partner, then you can make a bond for life. A wonderful two-car train. I love my pokemon dearly, and while they are all very strong, they are also very friendly and happy to get to know others that I'm close to because they trust me. And they'd never hurt anyone outside of a regular pokemon battle."
Rosie nodded along, still looking scared and a little doubtful.
"But I also understand if this is a fear you can't get over right now," he added. "But I work really closely with pokemon. I have my own team, and as a warden, I have the noble Lady Sneasler to take care of. I wouldn't want you to be in an uncomfortable living situation though. So... if you would feel better not living around pokemon, I could always help you find another caretaker."
"What?" Rosie's eyes grew wide with horror. "No! Don't leave me! I like you, Mr. Ingo! Please!"
"No, no, I'm not leaving you, I promise!" Ingo assured her quickly. "I was simply suggesting something. I'm sorry if I upset you. I'm very happy being your caretaker and I promise I won't leave you." Rosie nodded and dropped her art supplies so she could hug Ingo as tightly as her little arms would allow. Ingo hugged her back, giving her a gentle squeeze.
"I promise I'll be here for you, Rosie," he said, while trying to keep his voice down since she was so close. "But since I work with so many pokemon, would it be okay if I helped you get over your fear a little? I could introduce you to a few smaller pokemon that might not seem as scary."
There was hesitation, but Rosie nodded.
"Okay. If it means I get to stay with you," she mumbled into his shoulder.
~~~~~
The next week was spent introducing Rosie to various pokemon. First, Irida introduced her Eevee. The small fluffy pokemon was a perfect candidate for this situation since it was rather cute with its big eyes and soft fur. Rosie still hid behind Ingo for a majority of the time spent with the little normal type, but Irida and Ingo did finally manage to convince Rosie to hold out her hand to Eevee. Rosie held tightly on to Ingo as she watched Eevee sniff her hand, then she squeaked a little when it licked her hand. But then Rosie did giggle a bit at the sensation and Eevee's happy cries, so they considered that a success.
Next came Calaba's Bibarel. It was an older, more calm pokemon. For most of the time, Rosie hid close to Ingo again, while Bibarel sat next to Calaba, not really seemingly caring about the small girl. Luckily, Ingo managed to coax Rosie into approaching Bibarel. She stood next to the pokemon and Bibarel sniffed her, but luckily there was no freak out. After a few moments, Rosie returned to the safety of being nestled within Ingo's black coat. But she did wave at Bibarel when Calaba said it was time for them to go have dinner. So, another success.
After that came Ingo's own pokemon. He sent out his Tangela first. His Gligar was plenty friendly, but maybe a little too friendly. And Machop liked to give hugs, especially to children since they were closer to its same size. So, he chose to go with his calmest pokemon first.
Again, Rosie hid behind Ingo. He kept one arm around her as he fed his pokemon some springy mushrooms. Its blue vines happily wrapped around the treat before bringing them close to wherever its mouth was hidden.
"Would you like to try feeding Tangela?" Ingo asked Rosie as he offered her a springy mushroom. She hesitated, then shakily nodded.
Ingo kept an arm around Rosie to offer her more comfort as she slowly approached Tangela. The little vine pokemon watched patiently as she held out the springy mushroom in shaking hands. Tangela was very careful in its movements as it took the mushroom from her, then happily ate it.
"Bravo, Rosie! You did it! And look how happy Tangela is!" Ingo exclaimed proudly. Rosie giggled and hopped a little in excitement.
"I fed a pokemon! I did it!" She then looked at Tangela, then back to Ingo. "Can I pet it?"
"Of course. Just be gentle with its vines, and if it starts to back away or push your hand away, then that means it wants to stop. We all have to respect each other's boundaries."
Rosie nodded, then slowly reached out towards Tangela. The little pokemon knew what she was going to do, so it met her halfway there and gently bumped its head against the palm of her hand. Carefully, she then started to pet it.
"I'm doing it! I'm petting a pokemon!" she gushed. She was smiling widely, which made Ingo smile too.
"Bravo! I'm so proud of you! You've come so far already these past few days!" Ingo exclaimed. Rosie then turned to him and hugged him tightly.
"Thanks for your help, Mr. Ingo!"
He hugged her back and gently pat Tangela as well to thank it for the assistance.
"You're welcome, Rosie."
~~~~~
Over time, Rosie slowly started to get over her fear of pokemon. She met each of the other wardens' pokemon, as well as the rest of Ingo's pokemon. She had even been excited to pet Irida's new Glaceon once it evolved. But after over a month in the settlement, Ingo had insisted they head back to the highlands so he could take care of his noble. Irida had agreed with him and was glad that she had advocated for such a kindhearted and responsible man to be Sneasler's warden.
But she was also a little sad to see Rosie go. Everyone was. She was such a sweet little girl, and even though Irida knew she'd see her on visits to the highlands or when the wardens came north to the settlement every three months or so for their usual meetings, she knew she'd miss getting to see the little girl as often. She was at least glad that Rosie was in good hands with Ingo as her caretaker.
The next time Irida saw Rosie, it was three months later. They had had their last warden meeting during Rosie's initial stay with the clan, so after another three months, Ingo and Rosie came traveling back up north along with the other wardens.
Irida had heard from Palina that Ingo and Rosie had finally arrived. She was eager to see them both and hear about how Rosie had acclimated to living with the highlands warden. As she and Palina walked out of Irida's tent, she saw Rosie run off to play with some other children. Ingo, not far away from them, called out to her.
"Rosie, remember not to leave the settlement! And keep your pokeball with you! Don't lose your Hippopotas!"
"I'll be careful, Daddy!"
Irida and Palina both practically snapped their necks towards Ingo before they approached him.
"Did I hear Rosie correctly?" Irida asked.
Ingo turned to them, a little confused for a moment, before the realization hit him.
"Oh, right! A little while ago Rosie decided that she wanted me to be her father, not just her caretaker," he explained. "She said I treated her like a daughter already, and I was happy to call her as such." His normal frown was still there, but the corners of his mouth curled up a little and his eyes squinted in that way they do when people smile. He wasn't as facially expressive as most people, but once Irida got to know Ingo, it became easier for her to tell when he was happy.
"Oh, congratulations!" Palina exclaimed with a little clap. "You're a father!"
"This is great news! We'll have to make part of the meeting into a celebration!" Irida added.
"I don't think a celebration is totally necessary," Ingo argued as his cheeks turned a slight pink.
"No, no, this is something to celebrate!" Irida insisted. "We celebrate whenever someone in our clan has a baby, and we're going to celebrate you becoming a father."
"I appreciate it, both of you," Ingo said as he smiled a little more.
"Of course! Now, let's go get some things prepared for tonight!" Irida then grabbed Palina's hand and rushed off towards her tent to make some plans.
That night, they went over their usual updates rather quickly. Each warden discussed any changes with their nobles or any issues with their Diamond Clan counterparts, Irida went over her updates, then finally, Irida asked Ingo to announce his biggest update.
"As all of you know, I've been watching over Rosie these past few months. But I am no longer doing so as just her caretaker. Rosie asked me to be her father, and I have been happy to take on such an honor."
He was met with applause from everyone. Calaba smiled and nodded approvingly, while Gaeric gave him a hearty pat on the back. Irida and Palina both chuckled a bit as they clapped, while Lian turned to Rosie and declared that he was the first one to officially welcome her as the daughter of a warden to the Pearl Clan. Rosie herself just took this all in with a smile and shy giggles, while Ingo was blushing quite a bit from all the attention.
Then Irida and Palina brought out some small cakes they had hidden away in a storage trunk, and they all just celebrated as Ingo and Rosie shared more stories from the past few months they had been living together in the highlands. Rosie even let her Hippopotas out of its ball so she could introduce her partner to everyone. Ingo had caught it for her so she could learn more about pokemon and have a partner to protect her. The little Hippopotas was extremely friendly, and it was nice to see Rosie so comfortable around pokemon.
By the end of the night, Rosie was cuddled up in Ingo's arms, fast asleep. He recalled her Hippopotas to its pokeball, then carried her back to his tent. Irida waved to Ingo as she watched him leave. He waved back, then turned to Rosie and affectionately planted a kiss on her head. Irida couldn't help but chuckle. Little Rosie truly was Warden Ingo's daughter.

WtST Masterpost
Finally compiling all things related to Welcome to Sinnoh's Temple into one post.
The order of content is:
Fanfictions
Spinoffs
Artwork
Text Posts/Miscellaneous
If I receive fan content, then I'll make add a section for it for ease of organization.
Be aware that much of the artwork and fanfiction linked below contain spoilers for the plots of WtST and Pandemonic Paradise, if you have yet to read either fic and want to avoid spoilers.
This masterpost will be edited as new content is posted.
I hope that this makes it easier for everyone to find stuff if they're interested.
Have a good day!

Fanfictions:
Main Story:
Welcome to Sinnoh's Temple -- the eponymous fic of the series - chapter 1 - chapter 2 - chapter 3 - chapter 4 - chapter 5 - chapter 6 - chapter 7 - chapter 8 (final)
Yellow Lily -- a short oneshot taking place during WtST, after the Rift has been closed
Healing is Done in a Gradual Way -- a post-WtST oneshot
Spinoff Fanfictions:
Pandemonic Paradise -- an alternate storyline picking up between chapters 5 and 6 of WtST - chapter 1 - chapter 2 - chapter 3 - chapter 4 - chapter 5 - chapter 6
Nonomori -- a hurt/comfort oneshot taking place in the Multi Line variant of WtST
Spinoffs:
Title links lead to the tag on my Tumblr, topped with the most recent post.
Pandemonic Paradise AU -- between chapters 5 and 6 of WtST, things go horribly wrong, and Volo gains Arceus's power. As the world starts to fracture, a distortion drops of a very confused Ingo, who, needless to say, takes the news of his twin's presumed death very badly
Broken AU -- tentatively full-titled as A Promise Broken is a Lie Told, this is a variant in which Ingo handled his grief less-than-healthily, takes all the blame for Emmet's disappearance himself, and isolates himself from his family, eventually taking the title of Unova's Champion
Illusory Lives AU -- a variant in which Emmet died during the red sky incident and came back as a Hisuian Zoroark. Lots of found family here (and Ingo may drown in guilt a little bit)
Multi Line AU -- one year after Emmet disappears, Ingo is taken and lands in Hisui a few years prior to Emmet; essentially, WtST, but Ingo is there
Paradise Frozen AU -- after spending four years in Hisui, Emmet returns home with Akari and Rei only to be separated from them midway. The three of them land, alone, underground in a frozen Unova under the reign of Ghetsis and Kyurem

Hi I would like to ask you something
What are the odds of a Pokémon passing down the gene that alpha pokemon have from ancient times in hisui
I ask this becuase when my gible evolved into gabite its eyes turned red for a short period of time (because it was battling when it evolved) and acted much more aggressive in battle then he usually does at first I thought it was just a side effect from evolving and that it would pass and I was somewhat right his red eyes did go away but when he was battling another strong opponent they came back and I barely had any control over him. When he finally evolved into a garchomp though he finally managed to get ahold of himself and control it . I read about it in books about alpha pokemon how they were larger than normal pokemon and were very aggressive and they usually had red glowing eyes.
The thing is that my garchomp is the normal size for one and isn't huge like the books described.
What do you think
Hm, interesting!
I talked to the modern Hisui people about Alpha Pokemon, they didn't seem to know if it was a trait that could be passed down.
But I wouldn't rule it out! Maybe something got lost over the years, and that's why Garchomp is normal sized?

So basically frenzied/alpha pokemon are in a constant, forced berserker rage? I.e. incredibly strong and violent, but only because they're so out of control and lost in it that they can't reason or process when they're being hurt, including the hurt they inflict on themselves by pushing through the exhaustion of stomping around and being perpetually hypervigilant. They probably have pretty short lifespans then, dying either by one of the fights they seek out and get into, or by simply pushing their body to stay awake and keep going and going until it eventually gives out.
re: your tags, do you mean that the alphas literally came from the rift like the distortion pokemon or that they were frenzied by the rift and that's why they're so aggro? Because the jumbo size could possibly be natural, if you take into account that the nobles tower over the regular ones. But it's sort of implied I guess that they're so big because they're influenced by a higher deity, since the Growlithe was normal size and then when he evolved he was huge, and that wouldn't make sense for the random pokemon to be too. The Growlithe also apparently couldn't be super extra frenzied until he evolved, so either whatever's making them and the alphas big also makes them more susceptible to being frenzied, or the nobles are naturally big because of spiritual energy that coincidentally made them targets but the alphas are unrelated and are bigger and frenzied because of... something to do with the rift. I feel the huge size of alphas probably has some connection or parallel to how big the nobles get, but I can't figure out how. But anyway! Tell us your theory, please!
okok my theory/hc (it's kind of both) is that alphas are regular pokemon, born in hisui, that are contaminated by energy from the space-time rift and go mad from it. it might be bc they were one of the normal pokemon whisked away by a distortion bubble, or wandered into one after it formed, or were zapped by a little bit of lightning, or some other form of influence that doesn't have an in-game equivalent. we can kind of infer this from the fact that laventon comments that alphas are unique to hisui (and possibly also from hisuian snow? i don't remember off the top of my head if they said that garchomp was maddened by the distortion)
the size question is one thing i'm actually not. sure about. it might be that the distortion lightning is naturally drawn to the biggest, toughest members of a given species and it's just a correlation thing. or it might be that, like you said, for some reason getting zapped makes them bigger. maybe, and this is something i'm just coming up with now—we know pokemon can change their own size, right? that's how pokeballs work. maybe, the frenzy madness is forcing them to go the other way: make themselves bigger rather than smaller. it's not something a pokemon usually does bc bigger==bigger target and more spread-out strength, but the alpha frenzy makes them do it to exercise some of the power burning through them. or maybe it gives them the power to go slightly bigger that they wouldn't have otherwise. hmm.
#the nemesis answers#the nemesis speaks#anonymous#pla analysis#oooh i never noticed growlithe wasn't big until he evolved but you're so right. mmm

Back on the Seeds of Hope au, co-creator is @cryptid-kratt-kid
After a few months of them having Pomegranate the Alpha Zoroark, Arceus gifts the Kratts another alpha pokemon, this one an alpha Garchomp. This one isn't stuck in a ball, but it arrives during a "the villains snatch an animal and we are going to save that animal" adventure/mission.
Honestly, Arceus trusts the Kratts to make sure those pokemon are kept healthy and safe. And yes the Tortuga does get an overhaul, still a turtle-shaped ship, but they do make it bigger and comfier for their two new buddies they can't let out into the wild because they aren't even normal animals. They're pokemon.
Chris names the Garchomp Crunch. It gets just as attached to the wild kratts as Pomegranate did. Martin and Chris try to figure out what Crunch likes to eat.

FOUL PLAY omg it must be the govt again….trying to get more trainers SMH
The calculus jumpscare I can’t LMAOO bro not Barou watching out for us from heaven I’m imagining your Barou doodle plus that one so sorry I died audio SHSHSHSS
Ok I changed my mind I’m merging them all back together oops
Omg bro the itoshi sae effect is crazy I need to know what ppl see in him (or don’t see LMAOO) whatever suits their fancy ig im very shocked there was no Nagi though considering he’s also pretty big
LMAOOO I remember searching up the lore for it once and being like wtf wait the fact that there’s fire grass but no rock normal is kinda baffling like huh there’s none????
SHSHSSH NOEL NOA BEFORE NAGI they got the wrong light haired striker imagine the Noel one hits 50k LMAOO
SHEHSH Rin nation really cut it close it’s funny how they actually did manage to get one in though
Ok wait yk that theory of like Prof oak getting with Delia (ash’s mom) while ash is away (this is a WILD theory but) imagine aiku tries to rizz up nikos mom while he’s journeying LAMAOOOOOO anyways
HAHA notion coming in clutch fr I used to just scroll through your blog occasionally or rely on my memory (bad move) but now I’ve just given up and saved if separately LMAO
Mmmm yes pokemon and their trainers developing hand in hand we love to see it
LMAO YES joltik alpha wolf moment that’s also why the next time Karasu has to go against it he throws out his garchomp LMAOO the Gordon Ramsay meme has me gone consider this too Karasu channels his inner step bro Barou moment x Gordon Ramsay chemical reaction and goes “otoya you fucking donkey”
Charles Shidou and hoopa is a recipe for disaster they’re about the change the tilt of the planets axis there goes the peaceful wedding reception
The word count inflation is actually insane I’m not sure I’ll ever look at a wc under 1k the same way (jk some are still fire but ykwim)
KARASU TIME ok serious more angsty right make him drown this time.
/hj LMAOOO I mean if you’re so inclined itd be interesting Karasu truly very versatile though so many avenues for suffering!
- Karasu anon
LMAOO okay lowkey if we want to throw some team x drama in there maybe his house was victim of a larger scale team x raid?? hehehe we will see…either way it’s rough for the poor guy
I’M SORRY I LOVE CALC 😭 i always get funny looks for it but i must speak my truth i think it’s so fun (specifically integration i LOVE integration) but HAHAHAHA that’s exactly what i was picturing like that one fuck ass sketch of him like 😢 with that audio LMAO
honestly i feel like sae is the kind of character i would usually like?? i tend to like prodigy/genius characters that are super good at what they do (so like yuta and megumi in jjk for example) which fits sae super well but for some reason i just never got into him like that (also his early manga appearances are so cursed omg i better never see a sae fan slandering 8bit they saved his entire career) anyways ig that description also fits my actual top 3 (nagi obviously, karasu as no3, and barou again is kinda clear) plus those three are much more my typical type…karasu and barou with the spiky black hair and nagi with the soft white hair 🤩 NAH FR I KNEW NAGI WAS ON TJE OUTS W THE FANDOM LATELY BUT ZERO REQS FOR HIM?? truly insane work…tbh i actually don’t mind because i’m so particular with how i write nagi that adhering to someone else’s vision might stress me out so it’s not a huge deal that he didn’t get requested i just think the composition is hilarious there’s so much much sae and karasu (karasu fr pulling through if nothing else ik i’ll always get a req or two of him…the kuni love triangle with him is abt to go crazy)
YEAH I WAS LOWKEY SURPRISED ASF TOO but apparently rock is also the only type that’s never been paired with ghost?? i think that’s really interesting kinda random but huh the more you know
THAT’S WHAT I’M SAYINGGG WDYM WE GOT NOEL NOA BEFORE NAGI 🧐⁉️ but they requested a crime au and said they’re not super married to how it goes but they just want a happy ending you know i’m abt to go full murder mystery in this bitch 🔥 jkjk ofc but i think it’ll be really fun considering i’ve never written noa OR anything crime related before!! tbh i wasn’t expecting anyone to pick it but it should be fun 😈 ngl i’m surprised forbidden love, supernatural au (as in vampires and werewolves and shit not the actual show which i haven’t watched), historical au, and arranged marriage didn’t have ANY takers but oh well all of the tropes i do have lined up look like they’ll be super cool so i am excited 🤩
i was sitting there like “hm i wonder who the last req will be for…lowkey can’t believe we haven’t gotten any rin” and then BAM there the notif was i was like holy shit i just closed the app 😭 rip nagi yukimiya otoya you’ll get em next time (at least i get to try writing reo for the first time hehehe i loveeee reo 🥹) wait if you think abt it we got the entire opp squad on the masterlist…kaiser sae isagi AND rin those four truly are inescapable 😩 WAIT YKW WOULD’VE SLAYED AN AIKU REQ pls i didn’t even care abt aiku pre oaeu but now he’s like a silly fav LMAOAOA like i don’t even find him that attractive as you know i just think he’s hilarious and so fun to write (ig the aikulations will have to be reserved for the oaeu fr)
ok wait now that i’m thinking abt it once bllk s2 comes out and the fandom hopefully grows i lowkey might hit another milestone kinda quickly so everyone who didn’t get a req this time around can hopefully be redeemed then 🤩 especially since more people will remember/know/care about tabieitaken and nagi right after third selection and u20 (although sae will def be big too atp i should just change to a sae theme /j)
HELPP AIKU TRYING TO RIZZ UP NIKO’S MOM the craziest part is technically they’d be in the same age group considering aiku’s older than reader and co (he’s in the barou age bracket so it’s only a few years but still) and niko’s the same age as nagiy/n’s daughter here so he actually could become niko’s step father…or dare i say the father who stepped up 🤔
karasu bringing out garchomp against joltik is so funny bro is NOT playing…joltik (or ig galvantula because it def evolves before karasu’s gible gets all of the way to garchomp status) puts up a good fight but in the end it’s overwhelmed 😩 so then reader busts out the big guns and tosses in hydreigon or gyarados and karasu’s cooked 😭
PLS karasu and gordon ramsay is such an iconic chemical reaction it’s too good and omg i almost used the gordon ramsay you fucking donkey quote but then i was like “nah this is too barou” he def would say that though and reader would like start crying because it reminds her of barou meanwhile karasu’s like damn i didn’t know you took the anti bullying campaign that seriously 😟
HAHA charles and shidou are bad enough on their own adding hoopa into the mix is CRAZY hoopa’s a psychic/ghost type so it’s 4x weak to ghost and dark types i bet houndoom and aegislash get put on legendary babysitting duty (hydreigon would also be involved but it’s too busy networking w yveltal…bro is fr in his mira era trying to get those linkedin connections and whatnot)
proud to be a word count inflator nah fr though whenever i see someone post a 3k word one shot and be like “i got carried away this is so long” it instantly recalibrates me because to me 3k is mega short and tiny…like carried away with a one shot means 10k+ (depending on the idea…like i wouldn’t say i got carried away w barou’s oaeu even though it’s abt 10k words meanwhile freaky friday at 8-9k ish definitely got carried away…not to mention both bfbs which are drastically different in length but both long given the time frames of the plots and what they’re trying to achieve???)
LMAOOO I DON’T MEAN CHARACTER DEATH ANGST more so smth along the lines of the instrument (specifically the first part) and wicked game (kiyora fic) idk if you know what i’m saying…not angsty depressed vibes or anything but like i want there to be a tinge of melancholy and maturity to it instead of the typical karasu goofiness (bfb isn’t quite crack but because they’re kids for so much of it there’s not that same punch yk) idk if i’ll actually get around to doing it for a sec though…much to be written not enough time to be writing it all i fear

Sorry for the delay, but welcome back to my Pokemon Legends Arceus nuzlocke run! With all 5 regions and nobles beaten, we've reached the endgame. Can I beat it?
Part 6: The Shattered Sky
The morning after I finished the Icelands, I and everyone else in the village woke up to find the sky… not right. Naturally, bossman Kamado blames me, and I get kicked out. Volo decides to help me out, and I meet Cogita. If you know the story of Legends, you know how this all goes, and frankly I don't have much interesting to report when it comes all this. I did go back to the Icelands for a hot minute to catch some pokemons, and picked up Dinah, an Alpha Froslass, and then my team solidly trashed the alpha pokemon at the lakes with ease, so making the Red Chain was painless. From here though, I have to go back to the Mountain. The Icelands may have taken the most from me, but that Mountain wanted blood, and I have to go back.
I head up there, and my first test is Beni. Beni has a Mismagius, a Sneasler, Gardevoir… and a Gallade. The Mountain, and a Gallade? The death flags are piling up, and I don't like it.
Mismagius is his first pokemon, and its a little tricky, as my easy answers to it (Azure and Adapt) will die rather easily to the rest of his team, and LadyRidge will die to it. I can go Goop, Dinah, or Batgirl, and I decide to go Goop due to his defensive capabilities, and the fact that the next pokemon on his team will be Gardevoir. Goop finishes it, but then something I didn't expect happened. See, I assumed Beni will throw out his pokemon in order, like a decent chunk of trainers in pokemon games do. Oh no. He sends out Sneasler, who is so fast compared to Goop it gets off two Quick Attacks and then a Strong style Close Combat. Goop… is gone.
Batgirl comes in and takes out the Sneasler, but I'm devastated. It's not been that long since I lost Kodiak and Lilith, and while Goop hadn't been around as long as them, he left an impression (1 person on twitter even replied to the tweet saying Goop was dead with a emoji screaming "no", so I'm not the only person who loved him). What's more, Goop was essential to my battle plan versus the next fight, Kamado. But I pushed that aside and kept the attack on. Batgirl finished off Beni's Gardevoir, and then the Gallade came out, and immediately Agile styles a Psychic, than a normal one, and Batgirl falls as well. I send out Dinah, and she finishes off the Gallade, but I leave that battle once again down a third of my team.
Congrats Mountain, you got 2 more kills. And I can safely say I've developed a burning hatred of Gallades.
At this point I took another break and time to train, and Twitter didn't hear from me for almost a solid month (for comparison sake, everything before this happened roughly in 1.5, 2 weeks). I looked at all my potential options, trained several, did some research, and then put together this team for Kamado:
Azure (Samurott), lvl 74
Adapt (Umbreon), lvl 74
LadyRidge (Lilligant), lvl 75
Dinah (Alpha Froslass), lvl 78
Underdog (Garchomp), lvl 61
Chaucer (Arcanine), lvl 63
Chaucer made his return to the front lines (he had shown up once or twice for random fights in the Icelands, but this was his first return to consist teammate), and I introduced Underdog to the group. That Gible, when I caught him, had been a measly lvl 30-something, so it took AWHILE to get him ready, but I valued a ground attacker, and no one can argue a Garchomp is a strong asset to any team. I would have preferred to get the two of them to 70 like the rest of the team, but to be honest, I was tired, and in the process of training Underdog the others had naturally grown 7 or 8 levels since the Beni fight, meaning Chaucer and Underdog were actually pretty close to where the team had been when I last progressed the story. So with that determined, I went after Kamado.
So Kamado has 4 pokemon: Golem, Braviary, Snorlax, and Celfable. Azure takes down the Braviary, and the combination of Dinah and LadyRidge take out the Clefable. Kamado sends out his Snorlax, and I take a second to determine my next move. LadyRidge is currently out, and while the Snorlax is weak to fighting, it also knows Zen Headbutt. Leaving out LadyRidge is a risk, but I decide to take it. Sure enough, that headbutt hurt bad, but Lady's Drain Punch heals her up and takes out the Snorlax. One weak Golem later, Kamado is finished. The training paid off, and everyone survived. Didn't even use the new mates.
A bunch of story stuff happens now, as you know, and long story short Adapt holds the line until I can acquire a Palkia now affectionately named… Frank. Dialga (aka the soon to be Bob) pops out, and with the mcguffin (aka Red Cord) gone, we retreat. We need to build a special ball to catch it, so LadyRidge and Chaucer take down the thieves one last time and we acquire the ore we need. We get back to home base, where I'm reminded I have to take Frank with me to fight future-Bob, so Underdog stays behind (don't worry, I wasn't planning on keeping Frank on the team, Underdog would return). Time for another boss fight.
Either I've gotten good, or this boss battle is different, cause as I ducked, dodged, and threw balms, I got future-Bob's bar significantly down before I had to throw out a pokemon. LadyRidge comes out, I have her do a Victory Dance first, and future-Bob tries to take the opportunity to gut punch her out of time. She survives the hit though, and double Drain Punched future-Bob down to oblivion. I begin to throw the balms again, and somehow… I finished it. The easiest boss fight yet. I catch myself a Bob, and with a Frank and a Bob in my possession, the sky returns to normal.
While everyone celebrates, and the "Thank you for Adventuring" card pops up, I almost consider this nuzlocke a success. But no. I have one more fight left to do. The real villain needs to be brought to justice, no matter the price.
Shattered Sky completed
Current Team:
Azure, Adapt, LadyRidge, Dinah, Chaucer, Underdog
Teammates lost: 2
Goop, Batgirl
Total Teammates lost: 12
Diorite, Nutmeg, Cordyceps, Lily, Gari, Timelord, Lilith, Kodiak, Justice, Cranky, Goop, Batgirl
Retired Teammates: 1
Mom Shipton
Annoying Legendaries: 2
Frank, Bob
Next time... well, either way, it's the end.

Palkia's pearls.
Hi, yes, I'm a decent person to ask about this. That is not the normal Milotic size, no. Though there does tend to be normal variance in size range within a species, when you have that large of a difference... for context, I'm 6'5", and Coronet here is slightly under the average.
[A picture is attached of Cynthia standing next to her own Milotic, who is definitely very long herself but is more along the lines of twenty feet long.]
Normal variance within species aside—have you heard of an alpha pokemon before? They're a well-documented phenomenon most common in ancient Hisui where certain pokemon end up being much larger than normal, can be more aggressive in the wild, and tend to be stronger in battle.
Today, they're not exactly common, but there are quite a few documented examples in present-day Sinnoh (such as my own Garchomp.) Honestly—you said Professor Juniper, yes? So you're in Unova?
...If you were in Sinnoh, yeah, I'd definitely call that an alpha mon. And while they certainly were most common in ancient (as well as not-so-ancient) Hisui, pokemon migrate and genes intermix and so I'm not really surprised if you ended up with one in Unova.
Also, setting my researcher role aside for a moment: wow. That Milotic is utterly massive and I honestly already would have wanted to battle a Water/Dragon one as-is, but with yours being an alpha?
We definitely don't share a universe, which is a shame, because I would love to battle you. It's possible that there might be a version of me in your Unova, at least—once you've taken down Plasma, I'd recommend asking around in Undella Town, because at least then maybe some version of me can battle you!
I think it would be fun :)
@legendsobsessions Hiiiii I have no idea if you're the right person to go to about this but my professor juniper is asleep so she can't answer and you seemed pretty knowledgeable!
This Cannot Be The Normal Milotic Size, Right?? Saif, a completely average Haxorus, for scale.
[Photo ID: This is a fucking humongous Milotic with a shiny Haxorus standing next to her looking up. If you're in the business of accurately guessing sizes when provided with a neat benchmark, she's something close to the ballpark of 60 feet long, easily three times the size a Milotic should actually be. She's gorgeous, visibly well cared for, and still has that "recently evolved" sort of glow, but she is MASSIVE. Good lord.]

i didn't actually leave it half done by accident that was on purpose buuuuut here's a part 3
Ingo's completely gone by the time Emmet yanked him off. He's babbling nonsensically drool trickling down his neck from just how intently he was eating your slick. Yet even neck deep in rut he can't bring himself to hurt his brother, the only Alpha he'd let near his mate while you were in such a vulnerable state.
He needed you. He needed to be with you completely, utterly ravaging your desperate cunt with his swollen cock until it leaked with his seed. The pleas flow from his mouth like water to a faucet as he weakly struggled in his brother's hold.
Emmet is not doing much better. He's just barely holding on and desperately clinging to whatever was left of the suppressant in his system. Rut boiled in his blood just underneath his composure and his control was waning fast. He wanted to mark you up, to follow after his brother's begging and go down that same hole with him. But he couldn't, not with you being so out of it that consent was beyond you.
So he tried. Fighting off his own selfish needs he asks, "(Y/N). I am Emmet. You must answer me, do you want this?" You go to beg again, the words just on the tip of your tongue when he stops you, grasping your jaw and squeezing your cheeks until you pouted, "No. I am not speaking to the Omega. I want (Y/N)." Your whimper is met with another squeeze, "Answer me."
The rut coils in his voice; it's demanding. Commanding that you listen and obey. He cannot help it anymore. He's spiraling and losing his sense of self the longer he breathes in your intoxicating scent, so sweet and begging for him. For them. His hand shudders on your skin, clutching the last straws of his patience.
And then your hand is on his wrist, faint gleams of clarity in your eyes, "E-Emmet.....please...." You're begging him. Begging for both of them, "...Please help me...I want both of you....please..."
Ingo's growl rings in his ears as he lets him go. They both descend upon you, their new mate.
It's well over a few hours later when a Depot agent goes to fetch them. Your family was too far out to retrieve you and would not make it until tomorrow. He does have the sense to knock first, announcing his presence before trying the door.
He should have known better given how silent it had been until then.
The door only opened a crack, exposing a sliver of a trashed office before a loud snarl boomed out. Something slammed into the door and knocked it back closed, nearly taking the poor Beta's fingers with it. Frantic scratching tears into the other side, feral growls far too close for comfort as the Alpha tried to tear through.
The door is barred shut. No one is allowed to enter the hallway to their office, the sounds of rutting Alphas too much to bear. The poor Depot agent is traumatized and likely only escaped due to being a Beta.
The Battle Lines are shut down for the day with little complaint. The bosses were likely just busy or tired, definitely not fucking an Omega within an inch of her life.
And it's even longer when you three finally leave. Night had long since fallen, a few stray Depot agents left to finish business or keep watch on the still locked door-well, formerly locked door until Emmet got tired of waiting. That's another expense added onto the thrashed room.
And then there's you, a limp in your gait as you stumble up the stairs with both Bosses at your sides. They look rather immaculate, whereas you look like a Garchomp got to you. But with both jackets tossed over your still shaking shoulders, it makes it verrry difficult to see the twin bites on either side of your neck.
No one stops them as they lead you out, terrified by the rabid gleam in their Alpha's eyes. No one notes that they didn't lead you down your normal route towards your home, nor that they turned their onto their own route back to theirs. They keep quiet. They know better than to get in their way now.
You still needed to finish your heat after all.
Oh I know bestie I just wanted to add on
Hooo Lord this shit was poetic! thank you hgdft
Only the Twins and s/o knows what happened in that room before the poor depot agent opened it.
Also I'm a little too amused by the fact that Emmet just let ingo go at you like a rabid dog Ingo was really like:
Also x2 Emmet being so stern was 😩😩😩

Volo Drabble
(Kinda did a self insert here lol, basically had the reader/player have the starter I used when I first played through Legends!)
Volo would admit he was surprised to hear someone had fallen through the rift, the ragged man that spoke in such odd terminology peaking his interest. But alas, the man known as Ingo had no memories, or anything worthwhile of Volo’s interest.
Volo’s interest had moved on from him, seeing as he held no knowledge of beyond the rift, and left Ingo in the Pearl Clan’s hands.
But it wasn’t long until news of a second person to fall, this time with a fancy looking device that simmered inside Volo’s mind with the thoughts of the true creator.
He’d met you in Jubilife Village, accompanied with a Cyndaquil at your ankles. At first, he’d expect you to be brave, like everyone was saying. After all, it isn’t everyone that can run up to a Pokémon without fear in Hisui.
But when he saw your face, you looked almost timid. Afraid.
Lost.
At the time, he figured it was natural to be afraid, being thrust into a world so different than your own. But as he began following you in your journey, checking in every now and then, he noticed you would light up at the sight of him.
Your eyes, which were usually a bit dull and distant with your thoughts, always lit up when you spotted him, giving him your full focus. And yet you were oblivious to your affects on him.
While you sat and rambled on about the plates you were being given, or about the insane size difference between normal Pokémon and their alphas, or even legends you’d come across, he couldn’t help but listen to every word, even if it wasn’t useful to him or something he’d already known about.
He found his heart warming at the sight of you interacting with Pokémon. In this time and world, it was so rare to see someone care for and adore Pokémon in the way you did.
Even his own.
He’d watch as you took time out of your days to tend to any hurt Pokémon you’d come across, even if it meant getting hurt as you did so. Most people would shy away from a hurt Garchomp, too afraid of its temperament and its rough skin. But unlike them, he found himself fascinated as you ignored all that, murmuring softly to his Garchomp whom had gotten hurt while traveling through the Icelands with him. You ease the aches of its bumps and bruises, not caring one bit how its skin would scrape and nick your own.
You had both been camping in the Highlands when he knew.
A storm had rolled in, forcing you both to take shelter in a grotto.
“Is something wrong?”
He had asked you those three words, noticing your far off look as you stared out into the storm.
You had devolved into a small vent, a frown tugging at your lips as you confided your troubles into him. How you felt crushed by the pressure of the task entrusted to you.
‘Seek out all Pokémon.’
Those words haunted your dreams from time to time, fears of failing or dying before your task’s completion echoing in the back of your mind.
Volo’s plans had been set in motion long before you’d arrived in Hisui, but when you told him you had hoped for some help, help from someone like you, like him, guilt pierced his heart like a Poison Jab.
He almost hated getting so attached to you, knowing exactly what your reaction was inevitably going to be when he scooped up your crying form after you were banished. When he urged you to seek out the three Lake Guardians, when he helped you in getting the last remaining plates.
He wouldn’t look you in the eye atop the Temple of Sinnoh, he didn’t need… he didn’t want to see your tears. He could already hear them perfectly, sounding far too loud as they dripped onto the stone beneath your feet. Your hitching breaths and quiet sobs sounding like knives cutting into his ears.
A part of him was mad, mad at the world and how it treated him, and a small piece of him was mad at himself for ruining things between you both.
You’d once promised him you’d let him see Arceus with you, after all.
His grin was broken, perfectly fitting for a madman such as himself. If he could defeat you here, then you wouldn’t have to live with the heartache he’d brought to you. You could move on from this life, forget each memory and start anew…
A great beast of darkness rose up from behind him, but all you could see were Volo’s own tears trickling down his cheeks.
“Strike them down, Giratina!”
I have more Pokémon Drabbles! Found here!

More things that I’d do to mess with Jubilife (+The Clans Edition)
-Catch the gods/Legendaries they worship
-Treat Dialga and Palkia like normal Pokémon by training them to battle better. I would introduce them to human food from the future using those dishes to get them to behave.
-Establish a “Platinum” Clan to live in the Distortion World cause Giratina deserves followers too. Even if all the inhabitants end up being Pokemon, it’s still progress.
-Tell Adman about time capsules and Irida about us distorting space casually to teleport.
-Be a cryptid in photos where I rarely face the camera photographing me. Will allow me future anonymity if I am stuck in poke-verse.
-Have Pokémon with artificial sleep negating abilities (Insomnia, Vital Spirit) live on New Moon Island alongside Darkrai.
-Test Uxie’s limits on what they are comfortable knowing. I bet it doesn’t like thinking about when people procreate.
-Recruit Anthe to remake modern clothes to wear in the village, nothing to outlandish I only want something like a hoodie…
-Civilly ask Melli for help raising Poison-Types. Yes, I am annoyed by him. No, I won’t let the warden of literal living bombs know that.
-Introduce games like capture the flag to help the Survey Corps get used to working with Pokémon in large groups. Don’t know if that would trigger any memories from recent wars.
-Pull an Itachi pranking both clans by gathering as many Murkrow as I can for a morning flyover.
-Reform/Collect all of Vessa’s wisps.
-Make sure Vessa still be around people even if she/they can no longer disguise as a human all together. And find out who knew her back when she was alive to give both parties closure.
-Tell the first Hisuian Zoroark’s story so everyone knows how they came to be. I am sure I could find them somewhere in the region.
-Give Arezu “ideas” for her haircuts. :)
-Find if any villagers have medium potential so they can look after my Ghost Types.
-See if there are plans to build the Old Chateau in Eterna Forest yet.
-Drill into everybody’s heads that Magikarp can evolve from sheer rage so if they don’t have anything nice to say then stay quiet! Also under no circumstances are they to kick a specimen, James learned the hard way.
-Get Captain Cyllene to teach Abra other moves than teleport.
-Tell the stubborn pricks who probably don’t accept me even after saving the region real ghosts stories. And casually admit non-ghost type Ghosts exist in the world.
-Find alternative ways to make the Noble Lord Basculegion’s food so Iscan can save himself some fright of being around a Dusclops.
-Catch Alpha Pokémon.
-Get strong enough to lift my smaller Alpha Pokémon with ease.
-Ask how the Noble Pokémon deal with Alphas of their same species. Is there a special pecking order in authority they needed in at the start?
-Baby all my Alphas even the ten foot tall Garchomp that can look Dialga in the eye.
-Gift Professor Laventon a Gabite as a Pokemon partner due to its funny dex entry.
-Find out whether Rei, Akari or both of have any family. I might need to adopt them.
-Gather interviews progressively over my time in Jublife to record how everyone feels. I want their future to know that the threat of Pokemon was entirely real. And the hardships they went through learning to work together.
-Make sure the Miss Fortune sisters don’t get themselves killed so the timeline is preserved. Record Agatha and Bertha’s shared grandma.
-Ask how in the world Kamado snuck having a Snorlax and feeding it before I arrived.
-Have my most experienced Zoroak replace me so I can check out Michina Ruins if this is the Anime continuity.
-Catch all the mythicals.
-Ride Heatran up Mount Coronet from the very base to Spear Pillar. A challenge to us both.
-Organize Shaymin races if my own can get in contact with others.
-Travel exclusively through Darkrai’s shadow transport ability to scare people for a week.
-Talk to Regigigas about why it created only one Regieleki and Regidrago.
-Give Doran the biggest Alpha Buizel I can find.
-Question the Forces of Nature on why they traveled to Hisui.
-Find out where the Lake Guardians have feathers/claws.
-Visit Alola using the Creation Trio’s ability to get an Alolan Raichu. (They’re cute, sue me.)
-Attend Palina and Iscan’s wedding.
-Take so many freaking pictures with my God Phone. Hopefully, I can take it along.
-Make sure Rei and Akari know about type balance on their teams! Why does one canonically have two fairies?
-Keep the Porygon line a secret until I have Alphas of each stage. :)
-Start the Legend of Meltan and Melmetal if there are no mentions of them.
-Get Beni to teach me how to be ninja-level stealthy, plus how to parkour as easy he can.
-Complete Ingo’s Path of Solitude for every unevolved Pokemon. I will teach Magikarp to use Hydro Pumo so help me.
-Go an entire day without saying a single word (after solving red sky) to freak people out.
By Checklist Anon
checklist anon has chosen violence and i wholly support it because i wanna watch the chaos unfold! might as well, after all the protag goes through during the games, like sheesh
bravo! will we be getting little drabbles of these things you're doing? these would all be darling one-offs!

There’s already two to three people that know all this, but making it a definitive four can’t hurt. So, buckle up and get comfy, ‘tis about to get long.
So, Hisui. Absolute dumpster fire of a place back then. I by now have confirmation my egg was not laid by anyone out of my pack. I, like everyone, basically had to be mostly self-sufficient the second i could stomach berries or whatever else we could scavenge together. You were there to ensure the pack survives, nothing more. Stealing eggs from other packs, eating whatever died recently enough, you name it. It was all about not dying out.
To my “Luck“ our packs leader, a shiny alpha, took me under his wing and trained with me. Made me his second in command. And we got our pack to a somewhat stable state. The threat of some Garchomps or the likes to feast on us still wasn’t gone, but the icelands learned the hard way not to mess with Zoroarks, if you can’t find one alone or something. Except of course that one alone happened to be a shiny alpha. Damn, Satan was a beast. And yes, weird name nowadays, i know, but back then it meant... something with “Wrath“, that much i remember.
Anyway, we struggled through the years, survived, adapted, overcame and Satan and i grew kinda close. To the point where we planned to leave the region with one of them human boats and see different places. I even planned to confess my feeling for him on the ride. When the day to leave came though, he stopped at the pier and he told me to go on without him. He handed me a pokeball, just in case and spoke of “when we see each other again” and “maybe then“.
As the naive little fool i was, i believed him, went on to see the world alone and actually found this kind old lady i accepted as my trainer. Which mostly meant living with her and the others... i think it was an Eneco and a Meowth. Until she was attacked. She didn’t make it. I swore no harm shall come to her, but i grew to accustomed to this simple, easy life to protect her, or anyone else for that matter.
So i set out again, training myself harder and more fierce then Hisui ever dared trying. By the time i got my special little technique down, i emanated an aura visible to the untrained eye and had to continuously do something with my spare energy to retain my stealthiness.
Then i found this really chill, young couple. I liked them and they liked me, thus i lived some actually nice years for once, with them as my trainers. The region was beautiful, the food good, the battles fun, what more could i’ve asked for? And then, of course, they passed away. Old age. Which i was kinda prepared for.
What i was not prepared for was the dawning realization that i just outlived these two humans. And have been running around just as long before even meeting them. Was i supposed to live this long? Is that normal? Because it never felt normal. So i went back “home” for answers.
Though, as it turned out, everyone i could have gotten these answers from also died. My pack? Avalanche. Satan? Vanished, hasn’t been heard from since shortly after i first left, presumed dead. Even by me. There was not a single trace about him just silently leaving the region or anything alike. Just one day, Poof, gone.
From then on i have little to no memory for the next 250 years. The clearest memory i have was of a bright, pink light and pain. Lot’s and lot’s of instances of pain. Bites, burns, cuts, lightning strikes and more. Hell, straight up disintegration from that pink light.
If Shayna wouldn’t have relentlessly searched for me and done all that she has done, I’d still be some feral, mindless beast.
And for most of the rest, you’ve been there. Except maybe for, well, Satan returned. That was one wild clusterfuck of emotions. Which quickly turned into anger when i realized that he fucking time traveled! He left me alone when i truly needed him. Twice. And even didn’t have the guts to properly dump me when he should! While i understand none of that had any malicious intent, it still hurts.
And now, here we are. I’m just trying to loose stuff that still loads more and more to deal with onto me. Just to much to ever... well, be dealt with. I’m not doing this for a convenient way out of my suffering. Again, i can handle that. I’m doing it because i want to get rid of what gives me all this pain. I’m to strong for my own good. For any ones good. And since i can’t die, and everything else we tried failed horribly... What else could i even do?
Ah, crap. I forgot something important at my house. Ugh... BRB, i guess. Need something while i'm out?

Do you have a full-body concept art of Pokémon AU Mari? I think you said before the context is set in Legends: Arceus, and I’m looking at the clothing options (you can find them on Serebii in case you’re like me, too lazy to fire up the Switch lol) and I think the Patterned Kimonos Fletching III or Harlequin I would fit Mari well, if only because they’re purple. There’s also the Everyday Kimono Amethyst if she wants to go plain. :)
Oh, actually, when I talked about with others, we have it that Mari doesn’t really stay at Jubilife Village lmao like, at all ^^;
The headcanon I have is that when Mari does end up in the past along with Hero and Kel (that’s the context for this specific scenario) Hero’s the only one out of the 3 who still keeps his memories- so Mari ends up with amnesia and unlike Hero, she isn’t found nearby the village.
She’s found out in the middle of the Coronet Highlands by a group of Gible being led by an Alpha one. Said Pokemon gathering materials from humans for her to use- including cloaks and things like that. So, really, she’d kinda be wearing her sweater vest without her little red ribbon and basic jeans, both being torn and ripped up a bit and then topping it all off with a long cloak she wraps up in and wears it like a cape/cloak.
Her also having some fabric wrapped around the right side of her face with healing herbs due to her heavily damaging that eye when landing in the past. Her eye does eventually heal in the form of it not getting infected but that side or her face is now pretty scarred and her right eye is blind. Her covering it up with her bangs most of the time.
But over the 4 years she stay’s in the past, due to her having little to no interaction with anything that could help her remember who she originally was, her personality hardens heavily. Going from a very shy, nervous and scared young girl at 15, to a brutal, stubborn and hardcore battler at 19. She also sharpens her canines, further adding to her “intimidating dragon tamer” appearance. She does out-grow her old outfit and shoes so it is eventually replaced, but when she raids other people’s camps for supplies lmao
I’ll see if I can provide a full profile of what I mean later as for right now, all I got is an old drawing I did of 19-year old Mari and her Alpha Garchomp, Rush. (Btw- all of Mari’s Pokemon are male- they are very overprotective of their girl lol)
As for the Reaper cloth as the hanker-chief on her head. Big no lmao if you asked her to try that, with her normal personality, she’d probably say yes, but uh, as an amnesiac Dragon Tamer, she’d order her Hydreigon to Dragon Pulse you into Alabaster Icelands xD Do not test her lmfao
