Wow, it's been a few months. Can people tell me what I have missed?

Once Crunch is settled in with the Kratts, the bros get the idea to convince Aviva to make creature power suits based on the pokemon and it goes about as well as you expect. Creature power suit malfunctions, shenanigans. All gets solved and the suits work excellently. They work in a tight pinch. Kept on hand at all times.

Since it's Christmas, we get to find out what a special for Moss Green would be like

It all starts, well normal, Zach wants animals to make living toys out of, and the wild kratts crew finds out, but Chris also finds out because of him staying in Zachs neighborhood. So he sneaks onto his ship to get him to stop. But ends up being kicked out onto the African savanna. Which is where the kratt team followed Zach.

The crew follows Zach everywhere until they manage to get stuck on the ice. A creature power rescue is done by Martin, they save the animals. And they return each baby animal taken to their home habitat. The last place being Africa.

Chris on the other hand was stuck in Africa the whole time. Wondering where he went wrong in life until the Tortuga lands nearby, he goes to investigate and well, finds his brother, he sees him for the first time in years. And he runs towards him, yelling his name.

It's a teary eyed reunion, but the other crew members are a little confused about who this green color coded person hugging Martin is. Until Martin introduces him as his missing brother.

Chris gets to spend his Christmas reunited with his brother.

If we’re inserting the au into the canon special Chris could be trying to stop the villains as well, but refuses to do it with the crew. After realizing he can’t do it on his own he’d fly by to help them when they’re trapped on the ice. He doesn’t stay for the party, but Martin and him can at least bond over the first time they’ve worked together in 10 years

I’m thinking each au gets its own special. Maybe it replaces the canon one, maybe it happens after, whatever. AG’s starts out with Zach wanting to turn baby animals into toys, which Chris negotiates into modeling the toys after them instead, his part of the deal being that he has to help get them. Chris doesn’t exactly like it, but it’s better than the alternative right? If he takes the babies, he can make sure they’re safe and get back to their mothers afterwards. It’s for the best

The crew of course tries to stop this, leading them on a wild goose chase across the world to save their various animal friends. The whole time martin has his backpack and is very protective of it, but doesn’t explain why it’s so important. When they’re fighting, Chris grabs it to snatch a baby and finds,,

Martin knew Chris wanted nothing to do with him. He just wanted to pretend like they were close again for a little while. That maybe- just maybe- he’d have the chance to give it to him. An olive branch of sorts. Seems pretty stupid now, huh?

Whether out of genuine guilt or from the shock of being offered a gift at all, Chris can’t go through with it. He gives back the baby and breaks the others out, telling Zach he can shove whatever consumerist junk he had in mind up his ass, because Chris isn’t bending his morals for him anymore. The day is saved and though Martin tries to convince him to stay, Chris leaves while the crew returns the animals. During the credits we see a shot of him outside his apartment wearing the new jacket and playing with Biscuit in the snow

Same as the first: if we’re talking in the canon special than he could be helping the villains catch water creatures, but bails to sail the crew back to shore in the end

In its own special we start with the crew of Martin’s ship, The Wellermen, celebrating the holidays with a night of drinking. But uh oh! Turns out they have one last quota to make- seal skins. Well boys, we don’t want the buyers to be a few pelts short for the holidays now so we

The bulk of the special is the crew’s attempts to stop the ship from attacking the nearby seals, hijinks and shenanigans on both sides. By the end the crew saves all the seals but one, a baby harbor seal Chris named Little Flipper, which Martin had stolen from its mother earlier and hid in his jacket. A baby’s pelt is much softer and more valuable than an adults. He has the chance to save the night for the wellermen, to be praised and appreciated by the people who’ve beaten him down ever since he set foot on their ship

Instead he goes to the crew. Chris is ecstatic and hugs his brother for the first time in years, and it’s hesitantly requited. He invites Martin to celebrate with them but he declines

But Chris… he did good, he really did. Martin doesn’t always like how his brother does his job but this time he can say he really made a difference. Even if just to Little Flipper. Merry Christmas bro

More Seeds of hope au, i am on a kick for it honestly.

Pomegranate is a pokemon. Pokemon usually battle, for whatever reason, be it training for strength, or territory. Pomegranate likes to battle, but without another pokemon to battle, she's been restless. At least until Crunch the Alpha Garchomp shows up.

It takes a few days, and when they're happily in a rocky place that won't be destroyed as easily as say a forest or a grassy plains area would be, she engages in a battle with Crunch. It freaks the Kratt team out when they first see her engage in a battle. But then calm down when they realize it's probably like how Buffalo fight to get stronger.

They learn to get used to the practice battles Crunch or Pomegranate engage with eachother.

Back on the Seeds of Hope au, co-creator is @cryptid-kratt-kid

After a few months of them having Pomegranate the Alpha Zoroark, Arceus gifts the Kratts another alpha pokemon, this one an alpha Garchomp. This one isn't stuck in a ball, but it arrives during a "the villains snatch an animal and we are going to save that animal" adventure/mission.

Honestly, Arceus trusts the Kratts to make sure those pokemon are kept healthy and safe. And yes the Tortuga does get an overhaul, still a turtle-shaped ship, but they do make it bigger and comfier for their two new buddies they can't let out into the wild because they aren't even normal animals. They're pokemon.

Chris names the Garchomp Crunch. It gets just as attached to the wild kratts as Pomegranate did. Martin and Chris try to figure out what Crunch likes to eat.

I wanna know what everyone’s social medias would be like in Wild Kratts universe, and what they’d post and like. This has probably been talked about before, but I feel like making fake posts with the characters would be so funny.

Like the WK team probably has a joint account where they all post. Then like irl, the bros have a joint account where it’s just the two of them. Then the others in the crew have their own separate accounts.

Koki has like every social media under the sun, and so does the shared account of Tortuga HQ, because Koki runs it, because of course she would, she’s head of communication. Aviva sticks to twitter and instagram. Jimmy has twitch, discord, twitter, tiktok, and youtube. The bros, like irl, have tiktok, instagram, twitter, and a partnership with PBS/other broadcasting companies since I think they make animal documentaries. And they’re a well known group of scientists who partner up with animal conservations and national parks around the world, so that’s why they’re so well known.

Honestly the bros probably have facebook accounts too. I know that in Wild Kratts they’re supposed to be younger then irl, but these guys still have the old dad spirits. They have Facebook and use the large texts and look at memes in utter confusion. They use their stock images of themselves for their profile pictures instead of actually taking a new picture, because they can’t do one for themselves. They use tech daily yes, but not when it comes to phones that everyone else uses. If it’s not Aviva grade tech, then they won’t know how to use it.

Then the Villains would also be pretty funny to see, especially since they’ve got money and are probably considered celebrities. So they’re posting the most awful takes every time and all their comments is just people eating it up, or full of trolls and people posting memes.

Dabio’s probably got a massive fanbase of simps too, because he’s a world renowned model that works for one of the world’s best fashionistas.

Zach’s the equivalent of capitalist bigot on social media for the exposure and to cause scandals. Probably has a block list that’s so unbelievably full that it takes up like 5 pages, or he’s reached the limit. Aviva and Koki have like 70 alternative accounts just to bully him.

But the thought that the villains and heroes follow each other is also incredibly amusing to me. Because they’ve canonically got each other’s numbers/contact info.

Perhaps every post they make that doesn’t mention the other group is just full of shade and is a silent call out post. Like they all just live for the drama when they’re bored.
