For real though, I wanted to be able to better track stuff for myself and maaaaayyy have gone a bit overboard. Ended up making it shareable so if anyone else wants to use it they are able to, they just need to make their own copy to edit.

i forget that marius is taller than luke so in my head im like “heck yeah marius on his tippy toes” and then i realise “wait no luke is the shorter one!!” anyway i feel like marius is the sort of person to teasingly hold things above lukes head and be like “hehe youre too short” and luke is. not impressed.

10/10 - the phrase i keep using for him is a place for everything and everything in its place, because i don't think i'm actually wrong there.  i mean, my god, the man moves into the lighthouse and he and manfred are doing an inventory - an inventory - of the shit he brought with him.  like, he had a list of things ready to go to be checked off.

this man would love him a spreadsheet, is what i'm saying.  (why do i keep ending up with characters that do/would love spreadsheets, spreadsheets are literally my mortal fucking enemy, it's like being in a special type of hell.)

anyway, no, emmrich is highly organized.  he has a banter with neve at one point where he tells her he once shared an office with someone that kept their notes the way she does and when pressed is like i'm glad we have our own spaces (paraphrased).  his shelves, while full of stuff, are neat as pins.  his desk is neat and uncluttered.  the only time, actually, we see him with any clutter at all is when he's moving in, when he's tearing apart his library after the first time he confronts johanna, and when he and harding are going camping (his stuff is laid out to be packed to take on that trip).  and i promise you he knows where every last thing is.

i recently have been getting really overwhelmed with my Daily life and i'm sadly Single and i was wondering if you had any tips/tricks of what sort of chores i should do in my day to feel a bit more In Control

mm I’m not sure if I really have anything! I know I try really hard to maintain a daily and weekly goals checklist on my phone that I use! The trick is put everything you have to do in a day on there, not just the “big” things you want to get done. So on mine, I have things like getting out of bed in the morning and getting dressed on there, even if those are things I do every day, they still require effort and a worthy of a place on your to do list. It helps to have those cause even if at the end of the day I didn’t get anything big done, I can look at it at the end and see that I got up, I brushed my teeth, I got dressed, I ate breakfast, all things I sometimes struggle with in rough patches, I can see I did do more than nothing. And I also try to put fun stuff on there too! My weekly goals checklist has fun goals I set myself like 100%’ing a new song on guitar hero every week or reading one book! It helps me make time to enjoy my hobbies and gives me a clear focus to them because I have a goal, and that helps me feel less like I’m rotting and lazy when enjoying them, moreso like I’m pursuing my hobbies! And I also never try to hold myself to a checklist. Sometimes I’ll do another chore that wasn’t on my list for that day and I’ll get to add it in! Or sometimes I’ll only get the basic stuff done, and that’s okay! It’s a tool to help me, not a tool to use to punish myself if I don’t meet an arbitrary requirement of productivity in a day!

i do have other dead dove fics you can find on my masterlist here, but that fic is the only lobotomy fic i have. i have plans for a lot more dead dove-esque fics i'm working on to come out hopefully soonish, though none of them are going to feature lobotomies. i might add more to that fic though, i've got some ideas i want to explore, but there's so many other things i'm working on first. i have a whole rough schedule of fics to work on. but if people really like the lobotomy fic™ i can definitely prioritize writing more for the universe! or other lobotomy fics in general, i've got some other vague ideas in that vein.

Kaede's stats are actually a good 70% of the reason for this week's maintenance poll. She's so prolific that it's a guarantee to find F/F content for less popular girls getting shipped with her. But that means that the vast majority of V3 rarepairs...further increase...the Kaede presence. Kaede is essentially holding minimum 30% of all V3 F/F ship content hostage all on her own.

Just found out abt the elaborate lore of Princess Cordelia and it might be my fav sims lore since Bella Goth and Olive Spector and it all spawn from an in game item 😭

Okay so full disclosure I didn't even know who Princess Cordelia was until I received this ask. I'd never given much thought when her name came up honestly, and as a lover or lore I feel like I really fumbled there! But I am deep down the rabbit hole now and kind of obsessed with her story!!

From what I know just from my preliminary diving, I would agree that it's for sure some of the best lore since (my beloved) Bella Goth and Olive Spector. We usually only get decent lore with occults in my opinion, but I think they should keep up with this kind of storytelling and world building for all sim households. For me that's what made the Sims 2 so great - I loved the messy relationships, connections, and unsolved mysteries.

What boxes does a movie need to check to be considered a Christmas movie ?

☑️ The movie has to take place on or around Christmas Day.

☑️ Usually has to contain a moral or some sort of lesson.

☑️ I would like there to be Christmas/holiday music but it's not a necessity if the story is obviously based around Christmas/holidays.

☑️ There has to be some form of holiday/Christmas scenery.. This can be Holly, Christmas trees, Stars, candles, angels, bells, snow, etc... somewhere in the imagery in the movie. (Doesn't have to be obviously outlined.. it can be on a desk in an office, but it has to be there.)

☑️ The movie has to have something to do with family, friends, or loved ones in general as the main reason.
