I just noticed that the French canadian DS release of "The World Ends With You" use a french translation of Reapers japanese name :

In the japanese version the name used was "God of Death" (死神/Shinigami) and the french canadian version translated the name to "Angels of Death".

Btw : Only the cover was translated the game is only in English (and that’s the same for the France release).

Hi ! I saw your Code Lyoko list of DVDs around the world and I'd like to add some stuff here to help you : Canada released a season 2 volume 1 (it also had the last 2 episodes of season 1), the serbian volume 7 contains episode 27-30, the DVDs that you called "Sweden" are in fact Norwegian DVDs (but the DVDs have the Norwegian and Swedish dub) also the volume 2 is named Virus, Italy had a rerelease of their DVDs (the 2nd version added subtitles to the episodes)

Thanks for all the info, it's much appreciated! I had a draft updated version I hadn't touched in a while and this will be useful for finishing it off.

The Norwegian/Swedish ones confused me - I found the info for volumes 1 and 3 on a Swedish DVD site with Swedish writing on the covers, which is why I had volume 3 listed as "Panik i fabrik" instead of "Siste opptak," but I couldn't find any photos from anyone who owned them. Then I found the Norwegian ones on secondhand shopping sites, so I guess maybe they were planning to release them with Swedish covers at some point but then changed to Norwegian? Thanks for helping clear that up!

And interesting to know about the Italian ones! I know a couple of other countries had re-releases with minor changes as well - I don't think I'll add that to the main list but it's good to know 👍

Why is Hellraiser III so queer ?

I recently watched Hellraiser 3 for the first time and why is nobody talking about how that movie is queer-coded ?

I mean the two main female characters (Joey and Terri) literally have a couple dynamic :

-Joey asks her to live with her even though she doesn't even know her

-Terri makes a breakfast for Joey even though she doesn't know how to cook

-Terri runs away from Joey's flat because she thinks she's going to abandon her

(They are definitly a lesbian couple)

And let's not forget Munroe who looks like a rip-off of the "Ken Earring magic" doll (also known as GAY KEN)

My thoughts on Heartbreak high season 2 (spoilers) :

The writers forgot to remember important information from the 1st season

The majority of the issues could have been resolved through communication

Amerie is still hated by writers (leave her alone, she can't have any good moment in her life)

Most of the storyline were already concluded in the first season (Darren dealing with Cash asexuality, Quinni not liking how people treat her)

The new characters introduced are annoying af, bring back Peter Rivers

That whole storyline about the PE teacher was useless and the only thing it shows is that Woodsy doesn't give a shit that because of him the students were lost in a forest (and Quinni nearly died)

Quinni and Malakai were the best characters of that season (but that was also the case in the first season so nothing surprising)

What are they waiting to release it ? People have been asking for the pilot to be released for years now but they still manage to gatekeep it.

[SPOILER : About the game NEO : The World Ends With You]

I just finished playing NEO : TWEWY yesterday, and was I the only who thought that Rindo was dead since the beginning of the game and was reincarnated as a sort of clone of Tsugumi (or maybe was reincarnated by her) ?

-The two literally looks alike (same skin colors, same hair colors, same eye colors, also Tsugumi mostly wears red colors and Rindo orange colors)

-He's hiding part of his face during the whole game, and the only explanation is that he likes to wear his mask that way.

-In week 3, Fret is talking about his bestfriend or maybe friend, I think that the french version translate it to bestfriend who committed suicide and in the game the only friend of Fret that we know is Rindo (also some stuff that he's saying about that friend can be linked to Rindo).

I recently played the game "Dead Plate" and I just loved the experience, so I felt compelled to do an edit on it.
