*leans back in chair*
Gardevoir is a great metaphor / way of explaining the experience of being a feminine trans masc / trans assumption fuckery in general
Everyone expects you to be a Gallade but you've already evolved and you are a Gardevoir, you're just male. You arent fighting type and quite frankly thats wasnt your idea of masculinity anyway?
Everyone assumes male Kirlia will evolve into Gallades and they treat male Kirlia as eventual Gallades. When you say you want to be a Gardevoir everyone gets confused and wonders if you're really male, and why you want to evolve in the wrong direction.
Everyone sees you and, because you're a Gardevoir, and look like a Gardevoir, that you must be female, because why would a male Kirlia choose to evolve into Gardevoir? Is something wrong?
You literally always wanted to be a Gardevoir before you even ever saw a Gallade. No one minded until you evolved the 'wrong' way. You heard lots about male Gardevoir growing up, but it was mostly jokes or in the end it was revealed they were female the whole time. It still felt nice to know you could exist, but no one ever seemed to want to stay you, or become you, on purpose.
Lots of Kirlias become Gallades just because they're supposed to. You wonder how many really want it, or just feel pressured. You wonder if life would be easier if you just fit in.
But that wouldnt be you, would it?
#thisnwould work in reverse if pokemon was not sexist and didnt restrict gallade to male only#something something it being harder for trans women to transition hormonally?#i think it also touches on that it doesnt matter if its 'easier' one way or the other#when not everyone wants the 'easy' route#nonfemme transfemmes (handshake) nonmasc transmascs#handshake -> people ignoring your existence and being trans friendly... until you actually contradict their expectations and assumptions#pokemon#i guess#transgender#trans#drakepost

“ psst ! huddle in close, quick! the show is about to begin! ”
[an audience cheers and claps as the curtains open as a small spotlight lights up the face of an angel.]
come one, come all! watch now my audience, as we are dazzled by an angel sent straight from the stars!
this angel will be performing a trick called... “ trying to navigate in the radqueer community. ”
["Ooh, Ahh."]
hello reader !! we are a radqueer system that collectively goes under the pseudonym of Starz (or Star).
to those who need it, we use he / it pronouns collectively, but we also are comfortable with any angelic + nonfemme pronoun sets !
as of current, we are an avid transid user, a radqueer student (constantly learning new terms and labels with history of radqueers included), and we venture into plenty more labels ! (a hoard, if you will.)
( blankqueers include :: flutterqueer, worthqueer, anxiqueer, jellyqueer, &&...)
we're not extremely active, but we typically lurk the tags every now and then nonetheless ! ^_^;
★ — PSA AND SPECIAL THANKS.
have it be known that we are ramblers ! as a couped up being with cisadhd, we say stuff a lot ! but as a system, we also don't all agree on the shit we say all the time !!! if we switch up on opinions, it's likely because it's someone else. and we'll do our best to make that clear !
special thanks to @shxtaloid for helping us not only commit to the bit (of making an account), but also assisting with our matching set ups ! thankyew friend !
before you leave , here's a quick DNI list !
> pro-harassment, people who believe in "cringe culture" (as in validating calling things cringe solely to hate on them), alt-right beliefs, radqueer antis, close-minded individuals who aren't up for debates or conversations of our beliefs, those who try to separate the art from the artist when the artist has done unexcusable things or includes their bad behavior in their art, pro-contact, zionists + nazis and those who support genocide .. that's about it for now !
[ and with that, the curtains close. ]

Genderdae Pride Flag
Genderdae: An experience of gender-fluidity that never encompasses feeling masculine (n)or feminine; a fluid gender never encompassing masculinity (n)or femininity; the gender neutral of genderfae and genderfaun.
Different from genderflor, which never encompass male or female genders, combining concepts of antifeminine/unfeminine/nonfeminine and antimasculine/unmasculine/nonmasculine genders (nofingender/nomingender, m/f-antigenders/ungenders/nongenders), instead of nofiaspec/nomiaspec (nofiagender/nomiagender, no/viagender spectrum).
Coined by anonymous (or anon’s friend/s). - AP

pangender non__ flags! for a submission
above: pangender nonmasc! (a light-blue to dark-blue gradient “no” sign overlaid on the pangender flag. the no sign is small enough to fit within the pink stripes.)
color meanings: light to dark blue gradient signifies the variety of masculine identities and how they can blend together.
symbol meaning: the individual does not experience masculine genders, hence the no sign.
colors:
light blue -- #00CCC
dark blue -- 0099FF
___
above: pangender nonenby!
description: a light-purple to dark-purple “no” sign overlaid on the pangender flag. the sign is the same size as the one on the nonmasc flag.
meanings: light to dark purple signifies the variety/blending ability of all nonbinary identities. i chose purple because it is between pink and blue.
the “no” sign means that the individual doesnt experience any nonbinary/genderless/abinary identities.
colors:
light purple -- #FF99FD
dark purple -- #660099
___________
above: pangender nonfemme!
description: a light-pink to dark-pink “no” sign overlaid on the pangender flag. the sign is the same size as on the nonmasc and nonenby flags. meanings: pink gradient signifies the variety/blending ability of feminine identities. the no sign means that the individual doesnt experience feminine genders.
colors: light pink - #FF99CC
dark pink - #FF0033

other notes!
- im sorry, i have a hard time with 0′s and O’s. if you arent getting the right colors, switch out the 0s in my color codes with Os. c
- pangender non___ is simlar to genderfae. genderfae doesnt include masculine identities and could be a synonym for pangender nonmasc.
however genderfae does include fem. n enby identities. so pangender non__ is for ppl whose “exception identitiy” (the one they don’t experience) varies beyond just masculine.
___
sorry i didnt know how to submit three at once! i hope that this is okay n thank you!! @gender-resource

hi!! have you heard of pangender nonmasc? i mightve coined it for the first time. its a pangender experience with the exception of masculine identities. (there could even be pangender nonfemme too!!) would you be able to make a flag for it?
Please send all requests to my main blog, @whimsy-flags! And be sure to check my rules, and whether or not requests are open!

Tbh as a Butch ™ I kinda get what people mean when they say the most popular lesbian flag (the pink stripey one) isn't really representative of our community as a whole bc like... It's just a lifted and modified version of the lipstick lesbian flag first and foremost, a femme symbol, and it's alienating to nonfemme lesbians who want a pride flag that Better represents lesbians as a whole
But also every alternative flag I've seen suggested is from a terribad op and there's a million of them so like
#can we just like..... have one we all agree on#that has meaning and isnt like#just another flag repurposed#idk man the more i think about it#the more i feel better abt the rainbow flag than touting whats basically an abridged femme flag#and all the alternatives ive seen are from ppl who believe things like 'youre only a lesbian if you want to fuck' so like... lol#(and i mean me personally as a butch bc obviously femme lesbians are typically fine with a femme flag)
