Tbh as a Butch ™ I kinda get what people mean when they say the most popular lesbian flag (the pink stripey one) isn't really representative of our community as a whole bc like... It's just a lifted and modified version of the lipstick lesbian flag first and foremost, a femme symbol, and it's alienating to nonfemme lesbians who want a pride flag that Better represents lesbians as a whole

But also every alternative flag I've seen suggested is from a terribad op and there's a million of them so like

#can we just like..... have one we all agree on #that has meaning and isnt like #just another flag repurposed #idk man the more i think about it #the more i feel better abt the rainbow flag than touting whats basically an abridged femme flag #and all the alternatives ive seen are from ppl who believe things like 'youre only a lesbian if you want to fuck' so like... lol #(and i mean me personally as a butch bc obviously femme lesbians are typically fine with a femme flag)
