Vlad returned early next morning to charge the Bond. Reluctantly - he's still embarrassed Ji Ho cought him in that silly mud fight with Jack... Vlad doesn't want Ji Ho to think he's childish. He knows how hard it is for Ji Ho to get over his anxiety and he so tries to act dependable and 'grown up' for him...
And shortly after Vlad arrived, the sun began to shine and Jack made pancakes for breakfast! He's so glad Vlad can finally eat real food, that he eventually learned how to cook! (That was about time ^^')
Tumblr media
Ji Ho and Jack would love to go swimming but they have to care for Saiwa. No way they let him alone after his breakdown.
Tumblr media
Vlad: "Go. I'll stay here for a bit longer." Jeb and Kiyoshi are in a bad state too and they need Vlad, but he would do anything to see Ji Ho happy. And Ji Ho is the happiest when he swims.
Tumblr media
And while the two youngest went to the beach, Sai got up. Saiwa: "I should get myself together. I'm a burden for everyone around me." Vlad: "So Jack is a burden for everyone around him too?" Saiwa: "Of course not!"
Tumblr media
Vlad: "See? We are there for each other. That's what friends are for, hm? None of us is a burden. Take your time. We will be fine. Look how happy they are."
Tumblr media
Vlad can feel through the Bond how happy Ji Ho is.
Tumblr media
And the Bond tells Ji Ho how happy Vlad is because he's happy. That's so odd. Ji Ho: "Jack, Morgan said I put a Siren's Spell on Vlad to beguile him. Do you think that's possible without me knowing? That the Council maybe used my grandfather to make me do this to gain access to his powers? Vlad is so so happy just because I'm happy right now. This isn't normal, don't you think? That he's so obsessed with me. I know now it's also the Bond - but he had been like this long before. He died for me - without hesistance." Jack: "Don't you forget about Val and Jino! Your souls travelled through time and space just to be reborn in you two. Your love is epic!" Ji Ho: "But if it's real - why can't I love him?" Jack sighed. He has no answer to that either. He is still struggling to wrap his head around Kiyoshi. That he's a diety now and that he did not torture them at the Lab and saved them instead. And almost got executed for this. And on top of it all, Jack tried to kill him... How is he supposed to deal with all this? On top of with all his other disorders?
Tumblr media
The chirping of the birds is driving Saiwa crazy. It reminds him of his unutterable fake relationship with Kiyoshi... And now it's getting even louder! Is there a bird in the house?
Tumblr media
Saiwa: "Oh I know this noise!" Vlad: "Saiwa! Wait!"
Tumblr media
Saiwa: "What is he doing here!? There's no way I will let him mess with our brains! We know nothing about Arturo and why he gave us this board! What if the Council sent him!" Vlad: "Tiny Can followed them here because he missed Jack. They hid him because they were afraid it would upset you. But they need help, Saiwa. Professional help. We do what we can for them but we can't do everything, hm? Look, there is no internet or other remote connection to anything here. Just the PACKs device you've built. And you could set up the AI so, that it does not send our data anywhere, right?" Tiny Can looked sideways sheepishly and let out a sad chirp.
Tumblr media
Vlad left. Kiyoshi and Jeb need him. Saiwa sighed.
Tumblr media
But then he started to ponder about how to make the AI safe to use. For Jack and Ji Ho. And maybe also for himself. Maybe the tin can can point him a way back to Jeb...
Tumblr media
Meanwhile Jack found a TukTuk at the beach and he's disappointed. Why couldn't it be a spaceship instead? (Opposed to Vlad, Jack has no problems acting childish ^^')
Tumblr media
Outtakes
They have a hunch they are in a simulation! Or - maybe... we are? o.o'

Marvel vs Miraculous: How to Do a Final Battle
I finally put my finger on the heart of the issue with Miraculous Season Five's final. To explain this, I'm going to talk about another superhero franchise that actually did the final fight well: Avengers Endgame. While that movie has a lot of issues, the final fight wasn't one of them and I'm picking it for one reason: the big, climactic moment does not go to the whole team. It goes to one character, but I've never seen a fan complain that the other characters were left out.
The trick is that Endgame has the excitement and the tension build and build as the final fight goes on. It starts with a massive hype moment (portals opening) and goes through lots of narratively satisfying moments like Captain Marvel punching out a spaceship or Thor and Captain America trading Mjölnir back and forth. Every major, living character gets an "Oh shit!" moment to drive their fans wild.
Miraculous tried to do the same thing and completely failed.
Because Gabriel still had all of the miraculous, no one had powers, so there was no one to show up and make the audience get excited other than characters from the specials and team Luka, which was literally introduced during the final!
None of these characters feel like a big payoff for five seasons worth of buildup because they weren't part of the seasons! Some viewers might not even know who Fei and the Americans were! They're from specials that you have to specifically know about and search out. If I pull up Miraculous on Disney+, they're not included in the episode list. They're separate entries.
These characters also don't actually help Marinette. They just save the resistance, who really aren't important to the story. You can ignore all of those fight scenes and the big fight between Marinette and Gabriel wouldn't change in the slightest because there's nothing Marinette needs from them. The closest we get is Plagg getting the ring to Marinette, but that's Plagg's solo mission that no one else helps with. He just lucks into the knowledge of where Marinette is.
You may be starting to see where I'm going with this.
Here's my thought: Luka knows Adrien's identity. Why not let that have a payoff? While we're at it, why not have all these random characters work together so that randos are useful to the characters we know and love?
Here's the rewrite with no major changes to the payoff and no changes to the rest of canon:
Adrien breaks out of his prison in London and gets the ring to Paris, but he's been plagued by nightmares the entire way. He's barely holding it together and he knows that he's in no shape to help his Lady. But wait! Luka's in Paris. He sees Chat Noir flying in and meets him while the others hold off the bots. Adrien detransforms and hands the ring off. Luka promises to take it from there.
Luka rejoins his team (who didn't see Adrien) and starts fighting through the streets of Paris, knowing that they have to find Ladybug, but they've got no idea where she is.
Enter: the resistance!
Nino, Alya, and team are also fighting their way through Paris and they run into Team Luka, who tells them that Chat Noir is down and needs them to get the ring to Ladybug, but no one knows where she is. They get bogged down by goons. Luka and co are trying to protect the resistance, but it's not working. They're going to lose.
Enter: Dragon Fei!
Only she's not here for a solo mission. She can't take the ring and fight after all. Someone needs to become a dragon rider. Luka is torn about leaving his sister behind, so Alya tells him to stay and she'll be the ring bearer!
Dragon Fei and Alya take to the skies and the moment Plagg saw repeats, letting them know where Ladybug is. But how do they get inside and find her?
Oh look, it's the Americans with magic door man! Fei lands and joins the Americans in fighting while Alya talks to door dude. He opens a portal, but the place is full of enemies and they can't fight their way through, so Plagg takes the ring from here and flies off to find Ladybug. He finds her, we get Bugnoir, and the final proceeds as originally planned.
We still get the disappointing ending with Gabriel winning, but at least the lead up was epic, no identities were revealed, and Adrien got to do something meaningful.
Thoughts?

~ he has crashed the One and Only several times, the most recent being into the Express
~ i love the headcanon that his hair was originally white/grey and years of endless bloodshed in his hometown and the omen of evil(s) he had to slay, it slowly dyed red until it started growing like that
~ he has consistent nightmares of the former knights of beauty that he has slain because they turned into omens of evil
~ he is both terrified of what they had become and wishes it could have gone differently
~ those nightmares recently replaced those of his hometown, he has never been without nightmares

[WIP] 🧪 Shockwave & Overload 💫
Tumblr media
icon for me TBA
Transformers: Animated AU [TBA]
Ship name/tag: 🧪 mad scientist power couple
Anniversary: April 26, 2023
F/O source: Transformers: Prime
My backstory: I'm a Cybertronian who, after creation, developed an interest in fauna of all kinds - including both Cybertron and alien fauna. I begin a program of study in biology, eventually graduating and beginning work under a scientist as an intern of sorts.
How we meet: I am assigned to work as an intern under Shockwave, serving as an assistant to him. This mostly starts off with me taking notes for him and providing help with experiments as needed, but eventually, I become his lab partner and we work equally on experiments.
First impressions: We're both neutral toward one another when we first meet. Neither of us is very conversational, so most of our time together when it comes to speaking stems from our lab work rather than personal lives. Shockwave especially can come across as cold when he does not know someone well (or does not respect them).
Getting closer: As I progress in my training and eventually become Shockwave's lab partner, we form an actual friendship. Shockwave, while still not a conversational bot, warms up to me, and we start conversating during our working hours. Eventually, I end up inviting him out for the evening, and we start going out around once a week to relax and catch up.
I had already found Shockwave physically attractive and developed a crush on him but kept it to myself for the sake of our professional relationship. However, Shockwave surprises me one evening when he admits that he has developed romantic feelings for me - something that he was not at all experienced with.
Beginning our relationship: I am taken aback by this confession but confirm that I feel the same way toward him. Though we prefer to keep our relationship strictly professional, I end up moving into my own lab eventually as our scientific interests diverge. Shortly after, I begin courting Shockwave, and we become Conjunx soon after.
Canon introduction: I stick closely with Shockwave as time passes and eventually end up joining him as a Decepticon - though I don't fully agree with Megatron and his methods, I wish to follow Shockwave wherever he may go. I primarily work as a lab partner to Shockwave, doing some research of my own on the side as well. I stay behind with Shockwave on Cybertron, using a spaceship to start exploring other planets to document their fauna. When Shockwave is injured after Cliffjumper and Arcee destroy his laboratory, I help him repair his wounds and stay at the lab to assist him as he heals. Once he meets Knock Out, Shockwave comes back for me on Cybertron, noting that I am a necessary asset as his laboratory assistant.
Ship trope(s): None ATM
Aesthetics: Experiments, space/stars
Our song(s): "Who Wants to Live Forever" by Queen
Favorite forms of affection: Very subtle forms of affection in front of others are our favorites - gently brushing our fingers or touching the other's back are favorites. In private, we will gently touch our heads together as a "kiss" (since neither of us have proper mouths). Shockwave also enjoys having his ear fins stroked gently (though always in private).
Favorite kind of date: Spending time out of the laboratory is how we like to bond. On Cybertron, we would go to a bar and find our own corner to sit in and talk. After making our way to Earth, we like to go for drives/walks together and enjoy the scenery.
Ways we comfort one another: [WIP]
What we love most about each other: [WIP]

ok hheres an actual question... how did you three acquire this spaceship. and does anyone here have an actual license to drive it or...?
Ah, what a glorious day that was. After we left the military, we ended up taking an emergency ship and hit the ground running.
Tumblr media
I remember the adrenaline from that day vividly. Unfortunately, that ship didn’t last long, so we had to find a different one. - 💢
viz had, and still has, a habit of sending me to do things. i had to steal him a ship , i had to fix him up after he crashed it, i had to deal with the police, i had to steal him a new ship, and we’ve been using it since. no, none of us have licenses, but we all know how to drive safely. i see no issue. - 🌀

My current daydream scenario is a Star Wars portal fantasy. This has led me to realize how truly awful a portal fantasy would be. Especially for the neurodivergent.
You fall into a world that only has foods you have never seen, tasted, or even heard of. Do you have safe foods? Not anymore, you don't! Have anxiety about food or asking for foods you can eat? Every meal is now hell!
Do you have comfort media? Nope. All gone. No familiar songs. No familiar stories. Maybe not even any familiar instruments. That doesn't account for the fact that they may not use the English alphabet! Good luck learning to read all over again!
Have texture issues with fabrics? Good luck there, too. Who knows what type of textiles production they use! What natural fibers do they use. It ain't cotton or wool as you know it! Do their synthetic fabrics breathe? I hope you were wearing one of your most comfortable outfits when you fell through space time. Who knows what's on the other end!
Need to get somewhere? Can you drive a spaceship? No? How about ride an animal that definitely isn't a horse? It may not even be a prey animal! No? Looks like you're walking!
And how does the bathroom work??? Three seashells! What do those do? Does the water taste weird? Because the water probably tastes weird.
Really, how does anything work? Good luck figuring out how to make coffee! What is coffee? They sure as hell don't know!
And if you're lucky enough that English is analogous to their basic, common, or trade language, I'd like to remind you that English likes to mug other languages and rifle through their pockets for loose grammar. What's a phone? They don't know. They only have a comlink. Want to see a movie? What's a movie? Car? Automobile? Nope. They have speeders because they speed you along. And you can through euphemisms and idioms right out the window!
On the plus side, they don't have the word "fuck" either. So, you get the pleasure of explaining all its uses and nuances.
I sure hope you don't have immune system issues. Because here is a whole world of germs and viruses and bacteria you've never encountered before! Inoculations, you need all of them. That is if they have them, if you can find them, and if you can afford them.
Do you suffer from seasonal depression? I sure hope their sun(s) stimulate the production of norepinephrine and vitamin D! Hell, do they even have vitamin D? Because they sure don't call it that.
Let's return to anxiety for a moment. Do new places make you nervous? Every place is new now! How about new people? Maybe you're lucky enough to land in a somewhat familiar world/galaxy/au. Will there be anyone you know nearby? Will they even speak to you? Because you might know them, but they sure don't know you!
None of this accounts for differences in currency or time or measurements or even culture. Do you have any skills that you could use to survive? How much are those skills worth monetarily? How much is a sandwich? Do they even have sandwiches???
I know I've missed many other issues and terrors. Please add more. I wanna know what I haven't thought of yet!

Worldbuilding: Best Left Unexplained
“Roger, Dispatch. That’s a UTL on the UFO.”
UTL meaning unable to locate, and yes, that’s a sentence various law enforcement officers have had to use in the past and will have to use in the future. There’s always someone who mistakes a spotlight or an air ambulance for Weird Lights in the Sky....
And then, sometimes, there are weird lights in the sky.
Aurora? Shooting stars? Black ops helicopters? None of the above? The explanation will depend on your world, and how close you want to hew to realism. Because in our real world, sometimes things happen that we cannot explain.
Odd noises, lights, smells. Spotting a person you know across the street, when they’re half a continent away. People wandering into a deserted area, and wandering out hours or days later, swearing they were only gone a few minutes. These and many other odd phenomena, have been recorded by humans throughout history, and are still experienced today. Some people group them as paranormal, others as Fortean phenomena. In the past they were often thought to be the work of fairies, trolls, youkai, spirits, what have you. What are they now? We don’t know.
To me, that is the key: we don’t know.
Contrary to popular usage, a UFO is not an alien spaceship. It is an unidentified flying object. If you know it’s an alien ship, it’s not unidentified, is it?
Here’s the paradox. The difference between reality and fiction, it’s said, is that fiction has to make sense. In a story everything should have an explanation. The reader may not always have it written out for the, but they should feel it exists. Yet in real life things aren’t so neat and tidy. Unexplained things happen.
So how do you split the difference? How do you keep your stories realistic, yet plausible?
Honestly in a lot of stories you don’t have to worry about this if you don’t want to. Your readers are coming for a tale that makes sense. Anything weird can be chalked up to magic, alien tech, or possibly a murderer using fancy magician’s tricks. Even if an incident isn’t directly explained, we can assume an explanation exists. Think of the X-Files; the weirdness was assumed to be explained by the end of the episode, even if that explanation was “he had psychic powers all along” or “actual demons.”
What if you do want weirdness in your story? Fine hairs up on the back of the reader’s neck, because something strange happened there?
First, ignore The Exorcist-style massive showy paranormal events. Look up books on poltergeists, hauntings, fairy encounters in history and modern. Most of the really spooky stuff is subtle.
Second... the more fantastic your setting is, the harder it’s going to be to show that something Just Went Weird. Readers have their background assumptions about what worlds are like. To show them something is off-kilter, they have to have a very good idea what “normal” should look like. This is easier in a modern setting. You can also pull it off in a fantastic setting if you’re using a POV character who can realize exactly why all this is Not Quite Right.
Third, again, be subtle. If the paranormal becomes a driving force in the story, readers will demand you explain it. So don’t use it that way. Make it a feather dropped on one side of the scales, barely tipping the situation this way instead of that. “If I hadn’t flinched from the ghost I’d have stepped on the snake” is classic for a reason!
Last, don’t let it change who your characters are. Heroes should be heroes whether the fay reward them or not; villains should be villains even with the whiff of brimstone in their nostrils. They might pause, they might have second thoughts, but their actions should always be their own. After all, if you’ve been supernaturally warned, and still choose evil... that’s even creepier.
What would you leave unexplained?

Watching the Rise movie, my reactions (I've heard a lot of clips and spoilers so I know what I'm getting into)
Oh, Leo and Mikey have talked about this before. Mikey knew the plan without even him saying anything
Leo you're never gonna beat that record by talking
Leo making a drinking game but it's with pizza is great
Why is Warren Stone the Worm driving?! He's in a booster seat!
Nice job Leo, you actually punched yourself in the face
Leo's face healed up awfully quickly
Poor Mikey and Donnie keep looking at each other in worry and discomfort
PB&J duo watching their leaders fight through windows and then immediately trying to keep them from physically fighting (nice try)
April! You were doing so well! Those flips were great! And you dropped your phone?
Poor Casey Jr, didn't stand a chance
CJ has Donnie's logo on his clothes
Donnie's planning to crack time travel so future him can send past him the winning lottery numbers
"We ate leaves and rats...no offense" "None taken, we are delicious" Excuse me?! What?!
Casey may have just killed a guy with his chainsaw hockey stick...
Why are the Krang so big? And why do they kinda look like flesh-y Minecraft Creepers?
And there goes their powers.
Raph protecting Mikey and Donnie <3
"If you two don't mind, I haven't killed anything in ages" who am I to argue with such a polite request? Go ahead, I'm sure there's some Foot ninja left somewhere
The Krang brother is so small (affectionate)
Cool Leo action shot!
Ooh... ouch
Leo's panicked cries as he's sent away from Raph
Even Donnie wasn't sure the escape pods were going to work, he'd never had to use them before :'(
"How would everyone rate that rescue experience?" "Sorry. Data collection calms me down" Same, honestly. I do list-making whenever I'm stressed or anxious
The perspective change over to Leo with ringing muffled voices was cool
Leo's so angry that Raph got taken
Donnie comforting Mikey again, poor boys
"Commander? I like the sound of that" no one will be able to call her anything else ever again, she's now commander. She might outrank everyone else title-wise
"Last I checked, we weren't the ones trapped in a prison dimension for a thousand years" burn!!!
Ooh eye horror, yikes
"We live to serve" "you will serve me, whether you live or not"
Oooh we're going full body horror
"Hold onto your glutious maximi!"
Even Casey Jr's mad about Donnie putting trackers on everyone
"They told that to kids?! Man the future is harsh"
"We're doing it my way, remember?" Donnie and Mikey don't look confident about that one, Leo
"Ninja in, ninja their faces, ninja out" that's not a verb Leo
"I'm not sharing my hand sanitizer" there's a reason why Rise Donnie in particular got me to look into autism, and that's because he's too relatable (this is in reference to Donnie's disliking of the texture, which looks horrendous)
Why is "Donnie's Stomach" on the whiteboard of key destruction ideas?
Donnie and Mikey protecting each other so much
Oh no, April's school actually was creating herbicides to cause deforestation
I love that Donnie has backup battle shells in the tank, he's prepared for everything
"Remind me never to get on your bad side" as if you need a reminder?
Casey's angy
Casey insulting and traumatizing Leo at the same time
"Skyscraper caper" is the best headline ever and I love it
I don't think this is something the police can handle; even with a basic understanding of what it looks like from the outside they should have sent the military
Donnie's having a breakdown, poor kid
Leo stopping Casey from interrupting Donnie, letting Donnie rant for once (only for him to be stopped by Splinter instead)
And the body horror returns
Oh, the body horror really came bac- is that a train?! A Krang Train?!
Krang Helicopter
The Eye of Souron causing explosions was pretty cool
"Donnie! What do those big, beautiful eyebrows have to say?"
"What do you say, Donnie? You ready to fly a spaceship?" "Literally, the greatest question ever asked."
And the duo of Donnie and Mikey continues!
"Where's the character development?" a question I ask frequently. Splinter gets me
And here's the height of sensory horror. Also, the horrible wet sounds that come from everything Krang are perfect. Disgusting but perfect.
The angle of the Krang pulling Donnie out of the ship makes it look really painful but thankfully, I don't think Donnie was connected enough to feel it
Ah, the Wolverine Claws. People working on the Turtle franchise love those
The body horror's back, not as bad as before
Donnie's starting to pass out
Powers back! And Donnie gets to be really cool with how he uses his
Third battle shell of the movie is summoned
The return of April's crane license
Ick, Krang-lady's impaled -oh gross, she's un-impaling herself in the most disturbing way
Mikey just threw a building. Truly the strongest of the four
Donnie protecting Mikey again <3
"Don't worry Donnie, this is not a hug! It's a rescue!"
"How would you rate that rescue? Unsatisfied, very unsatisfied, wish Donnie had done it"
Donnie's about to pass out again (this boy needs a nap after all this)
Leo about to sacrifice himself and scaring everyone (poor Donnie's comforting Mikey again)
Krang shut up, let Leo encourage Casey!
"What you failed to understand was I missed on purpose." Smug
Poor Leo. He's pretty sure he's going to die and he's okay with it
Krang-lady laughing after everyone thinks Leo's gone and April's about to kill her
If I had a nickle for every time I've seen Donnie hit a Krang in the face with a giant drill, I'd have two nickles...
"Our HEROES 💙💛💜❤" (we only see the first three in the text, I added the red heart"
Aw, they all got Casey Jr his first pizza <3
"So much better than rats" Splinter... why do you look offended? Why are you offended that Casey Jr likes eating actually food more than your rodent brethren?!
Splinter using his tail as a selfie stick
"That's my mom!" poor CJ's having a crisis. He knew he'd see his mom some time, right?
"Our home. What a town."
Movie ends with everyone cheering on Raph as he tries the insane pizza carrying challenge from earlier
....
These kids have a lot of trauma to work through but they're already looking better/happier while eating pizza. Hopefully they get the chance to rest later though
Also they should have let April kill the Krang-lady...
Apologies for spelling errors and lack-luster reactions, I'm not very good at being expressive through written text :p

infinities within infinities
Tumblr media
"Don't get me wrong," Xie Lian says, "I'm really grateful for the donation, but I don't think it's right to name the library after me."
But the man in the three-piece suit seems insistent. "You're a groundbreaking force in the world of philosophy," he says ardently. "I've read your Man, Thrice Ascended at least ten times. What you have to say about the concept of self as the infinite is revolutionary." He grins. The leather of the eyepatch over his right eye gleams in the sunlight. "The least you deserve is to have libraries named after you."
Xie Lian looks him over. This Hua Cheng is known as a reclusive billionaire, but there’s nothing withdrawn about him now, as he surveys Xie Lian with a bright eye. Instead, he’s almost preternaturally relaxed, hands in his pockets, smiling as bright as if he’d captured the sun. Despite the money and the insistent words, there’s nothing intimidating about him.. Xie Lian rather likes him.
“Well, thank you, I suppose, Mr. Hua,” he says carefully. He still isn’t sure about the Xie Philosophy Library concept. He looks up at the building and tries to imagine his name on the placard; it just seems preposterous. The dreams of a very young graduate student who thought he could change the whole nature of philosophy. Now, a fool’s wish. That it would be granted so suddenly, and by the young man in front of him who can’t be out of his twenties? Unimaginable.
“No need to thank me,” Hua Cheng says, shaking his head. “The very least I could do. Do you need a ride anywhere, Professor?”
**
Hua Cheng’s car might as well be a spaceship for how much it sticks out among the dumpy minivans and compact cars that surround it in the parking lot. Black, sleek, and gleaming, it truly seems to have beamed here from some point in a glittering future. Hua Cheng unlocks it with the touch of a button, and then, with another, the passenger side door swings open of its own volition. Xie Lian peeks inside. The interior is black as well, but for some touches that stand out in burning crimson.
“Go on, Professor.” Hua Cheng is leaning on his side of the car, casting a sideways glance at him. “Make yourself comfortable.”
Xie Lian obeys, ducking his head to get in. “You really needn’t call me Professor,” he says as Hua Cheng joins him on the driver’s side.
“What should I call you, then?” Hua Cheng’s smile is devastatingly brilliant, and Xie Lian is glad he’s sitting, because his knees have just gone to jelly. “I could call you gege, if it’s not too informal.”
He’s teasing -- at least, Xie Lian thinks he’s teasing -- but honestly the word comes out of his mouth more naturally than professor, and Xie Lian likes the sound of it better. “Gege is fine,” he says lightly.
“But in return,” Hua Cheng says, starting up the car, “you have to call me San Lang.”
“Why?” There’s something buzzing in Xie Lian’s brain now about the concept of naming, what we call ourselves versus what others call us, but he shunts it aside.
“Why do you think?” The car pulls out of its space, and a low rumble echoes in Xie Lian’s gut as it starts to navigate the parking lot. Hua Cheng is glancing at him between peeks in the rearview mirror. “You know what they say about us billionaires, we’re eccentric. Humor me.”
“Very well, San Lang,” Xie Lian replies, and he likes the sound of that, too.
It’s ten minutes of buzzing around the downtown streets before Xie Lian realizes he never gave a destination. “San Lang,” he says carefully, “where are we going?”
“Here and there,” Hua Cheng says. “I want to pick your brain about Man, Thrice Ascended.”
“Oh.” Xie Lian is flattered, and honestly the concept of riding around aimlessly in this sleek machine appeals to him. “Go right ahead, then.”
“To tell you the truth,” Hua Cheng says, “I have trouble wrapping my head around the concept of the self as infinite. Unless you believe in a higher power, the concept of self seems painfully finite to me, as it only exists between birth and death. Isn’t that a pretty limited span?”
“Only temporally,” Xie Lian replies. “Did you know that there are 22 million seconds in the average lifetime?”
“22 million is a lot, but it’s not infinity,” Hua Cheng counters.
“Ah, but a second isn’t instantaneous. Seconds take time. If you’ve ever tried to hold a plank for more than a minute, you know that well.” And he really does look like the type who could hold it. If not for two. “The unit of time I’d rather use is the moment.”
Hua Cheng glances at him. The car pulls onto the highway. “The moment?” he asks, gently spurring Xie Lian forward.
“Exactly,” Xie Lian says. “The moment is instantaneous. Maybe there are hundreds of millions of moments in the span of a single second of time. Maybe more than that. We can conceptualize, then, that each second of a lifetime contains within it infinite moments, and each lifetime 22 million infinities.”
“But a moment is hardly an appreciable measure of time,” Hua Cheng says. “How many moments can we experience as moments with our limited consciousness? The moments experienced are still finite to the mind of the human who tries to count them. Even if you count as fast as you can, you can’t count to 100 within the space of a single second, much less infinity.”
“You’re asking good questions,” Xie Lian comments.
Hua Cheng glows a little. “I told you, I’ve read the book a thousand times.”
“Well, if you did read the book, then you know that our concept of moments here is merely a framework.” They’re driving along the coast now, the bay blue and the sun starting its daily fizzle from yellow to red. “The infinities that truly populate the self are not of time, but of possibility.”
“Infinite choice in each moment.” Hua Cheng nods. “Explain it to me one more time, please, won’t you, gege?”
There’s a little plaintive moan in his voice - just a sliver of an entreaty - and it gives Xie Lian the goosebumps. Here is someone who’s truly appreciating his work, and he’s pleasant to look at and his voice is pleasant to the ear, and Xie Lian is reeling with how much good sensation is rolling into him with every second of this drive. It’s like the best of good dreams, and he doesn’t want to think of it ending.
“In any moment -- and I do mean moment, with our earlier definition,” he says, “I could lean to the left. I could lean to the right. I could blink. I could lean to the left but just a little bit harder. I could think of the color red. I could think of the color blue. I could speak. I could stay silent. I could open the door and throw myself out of this car, if I wanted.”
“Please don’t,” Hua Cheng interjects, sounding a little unnerved.
“It’s just a possibility,” Xie Lian reminds him. “There are, essentially, an infinite number of things I could do with each moment of my life. Each of them takes some time, but the process of choosing is instantaneous. So you have infinite possibilities in every single moment of infinite moments.”
“Not infinite possibilities," counters Hua Cheng. "What you decide to do in one moment, as you said, takes time. The time it takes to perform that action necessarily negates the infinite nature of the next moment. You can’t make certain decisions while performing other actions.”
“Your possibilities are still infinite in each moment,” Xie Lian argues. “Just because some actions can’t be taken doesn’t mean there aren’t still infinite possibilities open to you. Think of numbers. An infinite number of numbers end in the digit 4. It’s still an infinite set, even though numbers that end in the digit 5 aren’t included.”
Hua Cheng frowns. “Perhaps my limited mind isn’t fully able to capture it,” he says after a time. “You’re very impressive, gege.”
Heat blooms in Xie Lian’s cheeks. “Thus,” he says, “we have the three ascensions. When the mind is able to grasp the concept of infinity within limited time, it ascends once. The second ascension comes when one accepts that infinite actions can be performed within that limited time. And the third ascension…”
“...is when the mind grasps that the possibilities are infinite for each of an infinite number of moments,” Hua Cheng fills in. “Infinities within infinities, all within the self.”
They’ve pulled off to a scenic outlook point on the bay. Hua Cheng eases the car into one of three parking spots and turns off the engine. He turns to Xie Lian. “Gege always explains it so well,” he says brightly. “Thank you for indulging me.”
Xie Lian can feel the flush creeping into his cheeks. He looks away. “You’re welcome.”
Another beep, and the car’s doors are opening again. Hua Cheng gets up, rounds the car to Xie Lian’s side, and holds out his hand.
They stand for a time side by side, watching the reddening sun dip its toes into the rippling water of the bay. There’s a strange peace to standing here, Xie Lian thinks, with this person he barely knows but is so ardent about his work. I’m safe. I’m appreciated. The sureness of that is unexpected but so, so welcome. Xie Lian thinks back, trying to remember the last time he felt that way. He can’t recall.
“It’s beautiful,” he murmurs. Cars thunder past on the road behind them.
“This is one of my favorite spots,” Hua Cheng says. “I’m always taken by the vastness of the ocean here. It seems so full.” He gestures down to where the water buffets the base of the cliffs below them. “Like it’s a moment from overflowing.”
Xie Lian ponders this. “I’ve never thought of the ocean as full or not,” he says. “The implication being that no more water can be added; that it’s complete as is, existing within its bounds.”
“It’s a philosophical puzzle, isn’t it?” says Hua Cheng lightly. “Of course, climate change is solving it as we speak. Rising sea levels and all. It seems the ocean has the potential to be boundless, even as we denote lines between sea and shore.”
“And the question then becomes, how accurately can we draw those lines? And is it human folly to even attempt to do so?”
“Of course,” Hua Cheng says, “none of these problems has practical application.”
Xie Lian laughs. “Most of philosophy has no practical application. That’s why it’s philosophy.”
“I wouldn’t say that,” Hua Cheng replies. “Your philosophy has had effects on my psychology, at the very least. To think of myself as infinite has changed the way I look at the world.”
“And how does it look?” Xie Lian inquires, tilting his head.
Hua Cheng gazes at him, then turns back to face the sea. “Boundless,” he says.
Xie Lian nods. The wind whips past them, whispering coldly against his cheeks and ears. He shudders.
Without a word, Hua Cheng removes his long coat and drapes it over Xie Lian’s shoulders. The coat is warm with his body heat, and all that heat seeps into Xie Lian in a rush. He draws in a breath. When Hua Cheng’s fingers touch his neck to adjust the collar, he wants to shiver again, this time not from the cold.
“Gege.” Hua Cheng’s honey-rich, low voice touches his ear like the strains of a cello. “Would you let me take you someplace nice?”
Xie Lian looks out at the darkening bay. He thinks of the view from his office window, the wall of an adjoining brick building. He could go back there, write and read until the early morning hours. Perhaps he would sleep on the cot he’s laid out in there. Staring at the mottled ceiling, contemplating eternity.
Or he could go with Hua Cheng, who is holding out his hand, looking hopeful.
Xie Lian takes it.
They drive for another 10 minutes along the coast, then take an exit into an area filled with green fields. Huge houses dot the landscape -- this is the domain of the super-rich, Xie Lian thinks, because these fields aren’t used for farming. They’re simply green as far as the eye can see, well-manicured, sometimes interrupted by copses of grand old trees with outstretched branches. Some of the houses are surrounded by lush flower gardens. It’s not an area Xie Lian’s ever been too, nor does it seem like the kind of place he would want to live. But it’s fascinating just to see it for the first time.
Hua Cheng pulls down a narrow road, then turns onto another. Xie Lian squints as he makes out something odd on the horizon. Whatever it is, it’s silver, and a cluster of buildings sit low and flat around it. When wide concrete paths start to interrupt the endless greenery, he realizes what he’s looking at.
“I thought,” he says gingerly, “when you said someplace nice, you meant a fancy restaurant.”
“We can go to a restaurant,” Hua Cheng answers airily. He pulls the car into the yard, and they park. Holding Xie Lian’s fingers loosely, he leads him along the paths toward the airfield. The private jet sits on the runway like a horse at the gate, already humming. A movable staircase leads up to the main entrance. A number of people are working around it. One of them sees the pair approaching and offers Hua Cheng a bow.
“How soon can we be ready?” Hua Cheng asks him.
“Twenty minutes,” the man says. “We’ve been prepping since we got your text.”
Xie Lian wonders when Hua Cheng had managed to text them. “This is your plane?” A silly question; Hua Cheng nods easily, as though everyone has a private airfield with a jet ready to go at any moment. “Where are you taking me?”
Hua Cheng meets his gaze with a smile. “Where would you like to go? Tokyo? Hong Kong? Thailand is stunning this time of year.”
“San Lang,” Xie Lian starts, his heart pounding. Hua Cheng smiles that much more widely at the sound of the name. “Isn’t this a little…”
“Much?” Hua Cheng finishes for him. “Not at all. Not for gege.” He lays a hand on the small of Xie Lian’s back -- Xie Lian gasps at the touch -- and ushers him forward until they are both standing at the bottom of that staircase, the airplane’s door a wide unblinking eye at the top. Hua Cheng bows and makes a gesture with his hand toward the staircase -- after you.
Xie Lian’s brain rockets into high gear. He has brought nothing with him but his briefcase, and even that is still in the car. No one knows where he is or where he’s going. He’s traveled a little in life -- nothing too far from home -- but this would be a trip like no other, totally unplanned and utterly irresponsible. Every ounce of common sense in his brain is urging him to shake his head politely and back away.
But this man. This fascinating man, who is offering him the world. For every voice inside Xie Lian that says no, there’s a current of pulsing blood in his veins whispering yes, yes.
“I’m not sure,” he begins, tentatively.
“Gege,” Hua Cheng murmurs, “You speak of self as containing an infinity of possibilities for every moment of life. But the paradox of infinity is that some infinities are larger than others. At this moment, you have more possibilities than ever before. Given those infinite possibilities, at this moment, what will you choose?”
He’s right. The possibilities facing him right now are truly endless. And hidden in Hua Cheng’s words, there is a challenge -- do you dare? And Xie Lian finds, to his surprise, that he does. He not only dares, he wants. To see this through, to learn more about this man, to take a crazy chance. His heart is pounding with the force of his desire. And once, just once in his studious, conservative life, he listens to it.
He smiles at Hua Cheng, lifts one hand to the railing of the staircase, and begins to ascend.

thanks again to @dykerory and @willowcrowned for this genius au. this is an incomplete collection of very specific set of headcanons/daydreams i had about a tangential version of your au that made me emotional in the middle of the woods. whenever you feel the time is right, i’m very eager to hear your og version on the ‘but obi-wan, tho!’, because i admittedly pushed this one’s resolution really far chronologically because i wanted batman to be involved.
continuation from here
note: my understanding of dcu is as sporadically informed as my understanding of the gffa.
newly graduated clark kent gets his first journalism job and starts settling more and more into the superman thing. the rest of the justice league has been around but his entrance onto the scene is the one that really inspires the various heroes to actually start coordinating to deal with the weirdness magnet that is dcu Earth. Clark is in his early 20s. Anakin is in his late 30s.
He’s been living on Earth, without the force, for nearly 2/3rds of his life. He has a close knit circle of friends who were kind to him even when they thought he was just a weird and crazy emo cult victim (the gradual increase of public encounters with aliens and superpowers sparks some awkward apologies, Anakin at 38 just waves his friends off, smiling and changing the subject, neither confirming nor denying his high school ramblings of spaceships and magic. it doesn’t really change anything).
He lives an hour’s drive from smallville, and runs a successful auto shop. people travel from pretty far to check out some of his more wild and specialized motorcycle abominations. makes enough money selling them to rich idiots to fund his free auto-class and auto-repair programs for impoverished communities.
It took a while but he eventually came around to the idea of helping people without physical force (ironically, this is happening around the same time Clark is coming to the realization that he can help people with physical force). Generally respected as a pillar of the community. When people start to realize how profoundly weird he is as a person in a number of inexplicable ways, someone will generally pull them aside and quietly whisper that he was in a cult at a child, no one really knows much about it except that it’s what inspired his anti-modern-slavery work, which is a little telling. Not married. Was in a long-term relationship for like 9 years. It didn’t end well but no-one knows the details.
Has several cats.
He’s- wistful but settled. He’s been through a lot of therapy. He meditates every morning and night, clearing his mind and examining his emotions in the way Obi-Wan taught him. He thinks Obi-Wan would be proud of him. He know his Mom would be.
Once he gets used to the idea, he never really stops loving the concept of learning just because. Duel bachelors degree in in african american history and american literature, masters in engineering, masters in astrophysics a phd in theoretical physics, another phd in medieval folklore. He’s worked a lot of jobs.
He was already pretty well versed in astronavigation back at the temple. Over the course of his time on earth, he gets more educated in earth astronomy and physics. With is increased knowledge, his theory for ‘how did i get here’ shifts from slight hyperdrive miscalculation, to big hyperdrive miscalculation, to some sort of hyperlane incident. he realizes that none of the stars he knows are familiar in any NASA database. He must be beyond wildspace, which helps him let go of the last bit of hurt he felt that Obi-Wan never found him.
Then he really learns physics- and- light doesn’t exactly work like that right? He thought it was just primitive Earth understanding but... he gets a phd more or less accidentally, trying and failing to disprove that the speed of life is constant constant.
Get’s another even more accidentally, explaining how alternate universes might form if we assume slightly different universal constants. He publishes his thesis anonymously around the same time metas are becoming a household term, and at least one science journalist speculates on it and how alternate universes might explain the increasing prevalence of wildly different superpowers. He doesn’t claim credit for the honorary diploma awarded to the unknown theorist- he doesn’t want to risk drawing any attention to him and by extension Clark, who’s alien differences are far more of the ‘military experiment interesting’ variety then his.
He stops tinkering with Clark’s ship. He finally gets how it works. Now that he realizes how FTL travel has to work in this universe, tinkering with the mechanical generation and harnessing of the massive quantities of energy necessary to do is startlingly familiar. But it doesn’t matter. No matter how far and fast he travels, he’s never going to be able to get back to the life he used to know.
Perhaps this is what being the chosen one actually means- he’s meant to live a life without the force, so that when he returns to it in death he’ll be able to somehow...educate? the force? maybe?
Ok, he’s not great at the metaphysical spiritual side of things, but he does accept that going back is out of his control, and he’s doing good here, even if it’s not galaxy altering.
Despite all the therapy, he never doubts that his early life was real. He has his saber and deep, deep down he can feel a spark in the kyber. He can’t do anything with it, but it’s there. There’s also pieces of the utter wreck that was his ship in the cellar, next to the sleek unblemished pod that Clark arrived in. Shortly before Clark becomes Superman, he asks for his help in melting down his old ship to make unearthly alloys.
He’s not surprised when Clark tells him he met a ‘real’ ‘magic’ user- it stands to reason that considering how relatively easy it is to convert energy from one form to another in this universe (Clark can fly), at least one kind would bend to sentient willpower in a similar way as the force does.
It’s still a little nervewracking showing his lightsaber to someone new for the first time in a decade. Zantana scrutinizes, bewildered.
“There is some sort of power locked within, but it’s unfamiliar to me,” she admits finally. “I could probably brute force it and force the energy to release itself, but it would likely destroy the container.” Anakin politely refuses.
Later, after the justice league’s formation, Clark mentions to J’onn that he has a friend who might be able to work on his ship. J’onn is extremely doubtful when he’s brought to a bizarre autoshop in the midwest that looks half-like a roadside attraction. Anakin sighs and digs his hands into the guts of the craft, muttering incomprehensibly and yelling at clark to melt down some pieces from the special scrap pile. A few days later he explains the patches he’s done to an impressed J’onn. When he asks how a human came to learn such things, he’s absently informed that,
“I used to work in a junkshop in Tatooine. All sorts of ship parts came through.”
“I’m unfamiliar with this world.”
“Tell you what, if you ever meet anyone who’s heard it of it, send them my way, and I’ll make your next repair free.”
“Oh! I’m afraid I don’t have any earth money...”
“Ugh, of course you don’t. it’s cool, capitalism sucks anyway and everyone’s entitled to free transportation, regardless of the area they happen to live. I do ask that if you can’t pay for the repairs that you spend an equivalent number of hours either attending one of my free auto classes, or volunteer at a community-led charities of your choice, here I’ll get you a pamphlet-”
So the Martian Manhunter becomes a weekly volunteer at a Midwestern Food Waste Reclamation Facility. J’onn J’onzz ends up becoming Anakin Skywalker’s friend well before he becomes comes truly comfortable around Kal-El. For a telepath, 39 year old Anakin’s Jedi orderly mind is a soothing relief.
(again, Anakin has spent far more time meditating on Earth then he ever did at the temple. Before all this, spent five years dutifully memorizing the Jedi way even as he struggled to live up it’s basic practices. For the first few years on earth, religiously practicing every meditation technique Obi-Wan ever taught him, thinking obsessively about the philosophies he never had time to really process, is just a desperate attempt to reconnect with the force, prove himself worthy of it. But even after he gives up on ever touching the force again, he keeps up the practice, he can’t release his emotions exactly, but he does find peace. The tendency to stop mid-rant to earnestly pronounce made up zen bullshit and then sit quietly for an hour before picking up on his tirade again as though there was no interruption is one of the things many things people find profoundly weird about him)
Kal-El doesn’t stop asking new aliens and dimensional travelers if they’ve ever heard of Coruscant, or Hutts, or the Jedi Order. Anakin might have given up, but Superman remembers his older brother scrubbing away his own tears to focus on helping Clark calm down enough to touch the floor again. The more the Kryptonian’s powers developed in alarming ways, the more Anakin set aside talk of missing his home galaxy. Anakin might have claimed it wasn’t like that, but Clark was determined to take every chance his increasingly weird life threw at him, no matter how vanishingly small.
In the middle of his first battle with Braniac, Clark starts insulting his incomplete database. The world collector pauses, demanding a more precise explanation. Clark complies, giving his best technical description of Coruscant’s cityscape, Tatooine’s binary star system, and so on. Braniac is so distracted that Superman recovers completely from his kryptonite poisoning and easily saves the day.
Neither the lantern corp or the denizens of the neutral zone have the answers. Superman doesn’t mention it it Anakin, but he never stops looking and listening.
“How did you even meet that guy?” Flash asks curiously after stopping to say hello on one of their after work laps of the country.
“Aliens among us support group,” Kal-El responds deadpan.
“Oh. Wait, what? He’s an alien? I thought he was from the future or something! You’re messing with me. No way that’s a thing. How many people are in the support group? This is a joke, right?”
“Sorry, most of them aren’t out and I don’t want to violate their privacy- a lot of them have high profile jobs. How do you think I met J’onn?”
“SUPES I’M FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW YOU’VE GOTTA STOP”
Anakin is just sort of vaguely known by a solid chunk of the super community as ‘that one midwestern zen space mechanic’ and no one really questions it because everyone’s life has just gotten so goddamn weird. A few of them know he used to be a space wizard of some kind. Space wizards now being a regular hazard of life on earth, no one has reason to doubt this, and it’s as good an explanation as any for Anakin’s general vibe.
well. almost no one doubts this. Batman does not simply accept Anakin’s general bullshittery without carefully investigating and drawing his own conclusions. He does not share these with anyone.
But one day Clark- this is well after Superman became Kal-El to him, and not long after Kal-El tells him to call him Clark- comes up to him and asks for his help finding about an alternate universe. Knowing and dreading where this is going, Batman stalls,
“Shouldn’t you be asking one of the league members who regularly travels between universes?”
“I have, over the years,” Clark admits, awkwardly scuffing a boot on the floor of the cave. “But no one’s familiar with the exact one I’m looking for, and I thought since you’re a detective, and also one of the smartest people I know, you might be able to help me...”
“You’re an investigator yourself, and you can survive the vacuum of space,” Bruce shoots back flatly. “I’ve told you before Gotham is my priority, and this has ‘personal project’ all over it.”
“Come on, B, please,” Superman pleads, trailing Batman around the cave like an overgrown puppy. “In a few months it will have been 30 years! He’s my brother! Just let me see the research you’ve already done!”
“Who says I’ve already done research on your brother?”
Clark shoots him a look. And Bruce concedes the point with a grunt.
“I’ll need need to talk with him first,” Bruce finally concedes. “Bring him by the cave. Take the-”
“Take the tunnel entrance, I know, I know,” Clark agrees with a grin. “This doesn’t mean he’s authorized to know your secret identity. Thanks Bruce, this means a lot. I’ll ask him tomorrow about his schedule.”
Superman flies off and Batman scrubs his face with a gloved hand. After a moment he pulls up Anakin’s file on the main monitor. Bruce honestly respects and likes the man, as much as he respects and likes anyone who’s not family. He admires his sense his style, appreciates his upgrades to the batmobile, and is impressed by both this civil rights work and his additions to the scientific community.
That doesn’t mean he’s not convinced that Anakin’s brother is a bit insane. Again, he’s not judging! He dresses like a bat to scare random henchmen and beat up actual demigods! He wishes his rogues gallery was as capable of directing their ptsd-inspired delusions and staggering intellects towards such productive pursuits!
Bruce was already in quiet awe of the Kent’s ability to raise an outrageously superpowered being without blowing up a chunk of the country; their success in derailing a supervillian origin story just puts him over the edge. He stares at the three most likely profiles he’s pulled together. Christen Jones, from a negligent family, death certificate filled out suspicously sloppily at age 3. Earl Lucas, went missing at age 9, both parents dead in a violent assault. And Jake Hayden, who at age 5 disappeared along with the rest of his family in a seismic accident later linked to Luthercorp.
Anyone of them could have suffered on the streets for years and coped by establishing an elaborate fantasy world, aided by self medication, only to eventually be picked up by the Kent’s and start healing. Certainly Anakin had the intellect to create worlds in his mind. All his rogues were smart enough to create their own little realities in their heads- it doesn’t mean they were actually reachable.
Unfortunately Anakin had a Kryptonian younger brother who was determined to actually find the space wizard knight homeworld, even as the 'Jedi’ in question had slowly moved away his reliance on the delusion as an adult. Batman really didn’t see any way bringing up his conclusions to Anakin or Clark could possibly be helpful, and so many alien allies had a ‘If you find about the Jedi please contact Kal-El of Krypton on Earth’ pamphlet that it would be excruciatingly awkward to try and discretely correct anyone.
Bruce was not looking forward to this conversation.

Clones vs Caf
I'd like to think that on Kamino the Clones aren't given caf or sugary things, to like keep them in top condition. So, the first time they would have those things would be in space on the job, right?
The clone wars is still new, its only been about a few months and Obi wan is in space on his cruiser and notices that none of the clones have touched the caf machine. He talks to Anakin about and his former padawan says he noticed the samething. Next time Obi wan is with Cody, planning for the next battle, he casually mentions that they are allowed to drink from the caf.
Which leads to a group of clones all huddled up around the forbidden caf machine all too afraid to go first. They all know what caf is, they read about it when learning about what types of cargo pirates go after and what supplies should be prioritised when evacuating. All it's supposed to do is give them more energy. That doesn't sound like a bad thing.
"I'll do it." Cody says, grabbing one of the disposable plastic cups. The liquid is warmer than he thought, but it's nice, comforting.
He takes a sip and his eyes go as wide as dinner plates. The rest of the clones follow suit, wanting to know exactly why their brother looks like he knows exactly how to end the war.
Chaos runs rampant.
There's no more caf.
Obi wan is in his room when it first starts. The force warns him that something is wrong, but he assumes it is just a warning to be extra careful at their next battle, general Grievous was going to be present. There's a loud bang in the halls, like a body hitting the wall then thudding to the ground, followed by cheers. Reluctantly, he pokes his head out, raising Anakin he has some idea of what's going on outside. The hall is just filled with clones running into each other at full force, helmets first. Some of them are just running, arms flailing behind them going somewhere. There is someone in the vents. Maybe more, but someone is definitely in the vents. And there is so much talking that it doesn't sound like basic anymore, or mando'a.
Walking through the chaos, trying not to get hit with a clone, Obi wan concludes that it's not just the clones who fight, it's also the ones in charge of piloting and other stuff.
Obi wan sighs, realising that this was going to be a long battle, and goes into responsable dad mode.
"No, Boil don't put your knife in your mouth."
"Please don't climb the hyper drive while it's active."
"Cody? Cody where are - What are you doing?"
(cut to Cody with crazy hair in the briefing room as that meme with the dude trying to solve the conspiracy - you know the one).
Obi wan slowly backs away and closes the door.
We will never know what Cody almost figured out. Order 66 He's super big brain right now.
The escape pods. Obi wan runs through the mess of bodies that clutter the ship to find a window. Outside the blue streaks of hyperspace greet him. He sighs with relief there's still time. The Master Jedi begins to make his way down to the escape pods, only stopping to help a trooper who got stuck in the ventilation system.
He locks all the pods in place to make sure none of them got to the planet sooner once they were in orbit.
Now all he had to do was come up with a plan that super charged super soldiers would pay attention to.
"Alright." Obi wan begins, "A group will come in from the left and then-"
"We'll use the missile launchers." Cody interrupts.
"Yes Cody, but first we-"
"Charge at them full force." Waxer chimed.
"With canons!" said another.
"We could ram them with the laats!"
"And use the missiles!"
The room erupted into cheers. Kenobi feels like he's aged about a million years.
Meanwhile on the Resolute, Anakin is taking every, and any, idea that is being thrown at him with enthusiasm.
Finally reach the planet surface. The separatists are already there, waiting. But the cruiser hasn't stopped to orbit and no-one is going to the gunships. They are headed full speed towards the surface and there's no turning back now.
By some miracle they land in one piece with everyone thankfully still on board. All the clones are geared up, fully decked out from head to toe, standing ready at the cruisers exit. Waiting with baited breath.
With one last, desperate attempt to have some semblence of order, Obi wan asks in the unsettling quiet that has been created.
"Does everyone remember the plan?"
The large door opens, the planet's natural sun shining in and someone in the crowd yells "Take 'em out!"
With one thunderous battle cry they come swarming out like ants. Every single clone on the ship.
The droids don't stand a chance. They're being ripped apart by bare hands. Clones are being shot but aren't staying down, as if the wound was just a minor inconvenience.
In the distance Obi wan can sense Anakin leading the charge. He signs hopefully for the last time today, and opens a chair watching the battle. General Grievous spaceship flies away off in the distance.
"Wish I could do that."
Once the caffeine has worn off none of the clones can be commissioned for like a week.
Word gets to Palpatine and he immediately sends word to Kamino to give the clones caffeine, this war can't end that quickly.

Awaken the World (oneshot)
Pairing: Wayv Ten (Nct Ten) x Reader
Word count: 11k im sorry
Warnings: smutty smut, pure filth, Ten is an alien with two dicks... that’s it, that’s the warning, mention of suicide, (keep in mind, this is a fiction and has nothing to do with real people in real life, also, use protection!!!)
*new Years party*
-You deserve a break from time to time, Y/N, - Trish said while talking to you, - besides, you rarely go out, it feels like you are stuck in that apartment of yours.
-I know, I know, you and Shin always tell me that, give me an hour and I will be ready, ok?
-Yes, we will get a taxi and let’s go!!!
Your friend hung up and you went straight for the bathroom to get ready. It was unusual for you to go out, but you did like it from time to time. What you didn’t like in fact was the “gropers” as you called them. People who randomly grab other people, it did not matter how drunk were they, it’s just one of the things that you disliked, and your body proportions did not help either. Being tall and curvy (can be any other description, remember Y/N has a variety), always gave you peoples glares and staring, which did not pay any compliment at all, it made you more insecure.
What if people stare cause I’m ugly?
That was always there in your head, but your friends reminded you it is not like that, they stare because you are gorgeous.
*La Wanderlust club* two hours prior.
-Jack, I don’t think we can do that, - Michel spoke softly, he was new to the business and this was the first time he was about to do something bad.
-They will pay us near hundred grand for every girl, I ain’t gonna lose that money, if you do not participate you might as well leave.
Michel bit his lip, he knew this was bad, and if ever anyone finds out, they will all go to prison, but money like that did not grow on trees, and despite the fact, that their club was doing great, extra money for themselves for a “tiny” thing like that, would not be so bad.
-Fine, - he finally spoke, - I will do it.
Couple of hours later the club was getting busier, girls, loners and couples kissing in the booths that they provided. Everyone having a drink in their hands, enjoying themselves. Michel checked the pills under the bar, in total just 10 pills. Ten girls.
Tonight he will spike drinks for ten girls, and later send them away, no questions asked, spike the drinks and get the girls in the back on the club until the buyer collects them.
Shin was the first to drag you to the bar.
-Cosmos for the girls!!! – she nearly shouted while Michel prepared your drinks. He was watching you all carefully, thinking about who’s drink to spike. It was a hard decision, he was not yet able to make, so all the pills stayed where they were.
A couple hours later Trish was dancing with a random stranger while you were sipping coke by yourself at the corner, your eyes looking Shin who said will be back after she went for a fag. You felt a light tap on your shoulder.
-Hey, sexy, want a drink? – a stranger asked you, he could barely stand on his feet. Michel was fast to approach you and take you to bar.
-Annoying, huh? – he asked, and you nodded. – Anything to drink at all?
-Yeah, uhm, gin with tonic, please, - you said and gave the bartender bank card, while you turned around to spot your friends, he smoothly put one of the pills I your drink. In fact, that was the last pill. His brothers had already taken the other girls to the back, stripping them from their ID’s and purses, putting them in separate boxes.
Their buyer said they will sort It out themselves, so the guys do not have to worry about anything.
The dizziness hit you like a brick and two minutes later you were dragged away, your friends both busy with their newfound partners (always make sure your friends are not like this, yeah? They should care about your well being as well as their own), not noticing how you go missing, in front of their eyes. You were half asleep, half awake, you felt how you got thrown on the ground, and your beating heart knew nothing good will come out of this, but your body was shutting down faster than you could react.
You were out cold when the buyer got here, paying the bar owners huge money, taking your belongings as well as all ten bodies, putting them in a trunk, driving to a different place. They gave all girls sedative to keep you out for the hours needed. You were being prepared for an exceptionally long drive, far, far away from home.
Noticing lights further down the road, the buyers didn’t waste no more time and drove to where your destiny would start.
Up on the entrance pass code was required, which was sent to one of the buyer’s phones, the gate opened and what looked like some sort of “space station” was waiting for them. A big looking fella greeted them when they got out of the van.
-I assume you did well, - one of them spoke, as he was approaching with a bag full of cash.
-Yes, just like you wanted, there is ten of them, you can check if they are your liking, - buyers face smirked. Truth to be told, the “big man” did not care at all, the girls would probably look a lot different after quite a while, but it was none of his concerns. He had a hand in this business for a very long time and no one had ever suspected a thing.
Traveling from country to country, every five years some girls go missing? Who cares! People go missing every day. Business is running like normal.
Buyers unloaded the package and left with the cash, while “big man” made sure they were far away from sight before the center of the building ground opened, a platform moving higher until a spaceship was spotted. Opening the doors, he entered, taking the girls in one by one, taking of their shoes, putting on something that looked like a onesie of someone who works in a chop shop, smearing their make up with wet wipes so they looked ruined, make up running down like that.
Not that his clients needed their faces to look good anyways.
Walking through the ship towards the controls he noticed that an error had come up.
“ERROR 401, assistance needed, fuel tank”, to what he checked and decided it still would be enough for the journey, and if his clients will require some more of the product transported, they will provide him fuel generously.
-Safe journey, - he whispered before setting the coordinates and walking out, securing all bodies, making sure the spaceship is set for its destination. Walking back and starting the system up he fare welled with a bow and watched how the spaceship disappeared into the sky with a speed of lighting. This would be the last time you would be seen at all, and he had no regrets. A smile formed on his lips and a yawn; it had been a long day preparing. Time to rest.
*10043567901;1102033149001. PLANET DYVLONY*
Detective Ten pulled his spent cock out of his partners mouth, smirking.
-What a good girl you’ve been, - he said, while wiping her smeared lips with his thumb, his sperm glistening on her chin, - but I have one more in need of a touch.
His partners eyes widened noticing that instead of a one graceful phallus, he indeed (as the rumors had said) had been gifted with a second one, which even with one glance was visibly thicker and more veiny than the other.
She licked her lips in anticipation.
-Get on all fours for me, lovely, will you, - she did as Ten told her to, and soon her entrance was filled to the brim with just one thrust. Ten was still wearing all his clothing while his partner was borne down to nothing. She mewled at Ten’s sharp pelvic movements and thanked him for each slap she received. His hands moved to grope her breasts and pinch her nipples, while his thrusts never stopped. Her core was clenching, she was close, but Ten would not have this. He pulled out, grabbing a hold of the ceiling chain and tying her hands, pulling her up in standing position, before she even could comprehend a sentence to somewhat – bastard, how dare you!
His interrogation room, which normally was used to invest in pains of criminals, was now used for the pleasure of sex, and Ten spanked his partners bottom, he swatted away her bare cheeks till they were red in color, and the sounds his partner was making, didn’t make no sense. Ten lifted her leg up, and found her opening with his fingers, two of them making their way inside her body, thrusting as fast as he could manage, finishing her off within a minute, but before riding her orgasm, pushing his cock in her again, till tears were streaming down her face.
-I cccaaa…nntttt… - she was trying to say, but Ten would not stop, she was climaxing again, her core muscles milking Ten for all he’s worth, his hands letting her leg down, and his front pressing against her back.
His cum was leaking down her thighs, together with her essence, both of them breathing heavily. He whispered.
-So, is it true what they say about me? – he smirked against her shoulder. While trying to come up with a proper sentence, his partner turned to face him, she stood 6`1 tall, - taller than him by all means and, bit her lip.
-Ah, you know what, - she whispered, - you are not too bad.
Ten laughed.
-You could not even say anything five minutes ago, so I take that as a lie, - he said, setting her down on the ground, letting the chains rest on the floor, before securing them up again, Ten zipped up his pants.
-There is a shower, you can clean up.
-Well, - his partner spoke up, - you do suck at aftercare.
With that she stood up and left to where Ten had pointed to. Ten was all she wanted in a man, he was fearless, strong, good at what he does, and yes, oh yes, great at sex, but she knew this would be the first and last time they would sleep together, which does not even count as sleeping together, it was just raw fucking, her abused cunt convulsing around nothing imagining how great it was.
Dressing up, she was greeted by Ten, who as a gentleman he was, had opened the car door, where he would put a seatbelt on her, give her a bottle of juice, driving her to the town. His phone went off.
-ALERT! ALERT! ALERT!
Ten put the phone on speaker.
-Detective Ten, this is Xiao Dejun from the High court, there has been a crash at the GYPE beach, and it has been secured by SWAT teams who have cleared the area, we are waiting for you and your colleagues to arrive, it is an emergency. Sir, are you alone?
-I will be in a couple of minutes, - Ten stopped the car and gave the woman a sympathetic look, before she stepped out of the vehicle and slammed the door, well, at least it was not his face, she slammed. – I am now.
-It is…, - Xiao Dejun stopped before continuing, - it is a spaceship, we are on a high alert now, I am surprised no one had called you.
-I was occupied elsewhere, no one dared to trouble me, but I will be with you ASAP.
-See you soon then.
Couple of minutes later Detective Ten parked his car and was trying to get through the public crowds and reporters, who were trying to catch a glimpse of what is happening. Ten showed his V card as soon as he was approaching the secured area. It was crowded with SWAT teams of all sorts. White, none see through plastic covering all around the area, police teams in full gears and weapons. Ten stepped inside.
It was dusty, the ships landing must have created a sandstorm of some sort, the spaceship itself was covered in dust, the electronics on the other side being ripped apart from the intact with ground, the wires spiking an electric volt from time to time.
-What are we seeing here? – Ten asked, when he was approached by High Court man, Dejun in front.
-We were waiting for you, you have worked with anomalies like this, so we are in need of your assistance with this.
As they talked, they had approached the entrance of the aircraft, as they had assumed. As a detective, Ten had come across various forms of UFO’s that had probably drifted away from their main coordinates, but they had always kept things from public eye, since it was nothing harmful, just something that had proved they are not the only ones in universe.
The fire rescue team were waiting for a signal to cut the door out, the SWAT teams ready to shoot at any point, officers from the station were Ten works, standing next in line after SWAT team. Ten put on a west and secured his weapon. Putting his hand up, two fingers signaling for action, fireman cutting down the metal door, taking it out, putting ladder board to the entrance, he was ready to enter first.
Slowly moving towards the entrance, careful as they could, detective Ten with two swat members went in. Sweeping the aircraft bit by bit (since it was quite small), shouting -CLEAR, after checking every corner they spotted, moving forward until they reached a clearance, where they stopped, eyes widening.
-What the… - Ten spoke, in front of their eyes was bodies of girls/women, dressed in weird clothing, but it didn’t seem like they would be able to operate this aircraft. Ten spotted a movement, approaching straight away, putting his gun down and checking the pulse of the girl. Both SWAT members ready to shoot if she would attack the guy.
-We need ambulance, - he shouted, realizing that they are alive, but not in the “mood to fight” and heard the response teams through microphones, soon the medics were there, untying girl bodies, ushering them in ambulances, sending them away to a secret facility that lies below the High court for special occasions such as this. Teams provided with extreme medical equipment, wearing full gear, in case this was some sort of diversion, or something far more dangerous or poisonous for that matter, were ready to start working as soon as the bodies would arrive.
Once the ship was cleared, detective Ten with some of his teammates, were doing the “detective work”.
-Does not look like they were supposed to crash here, - one of them said, - coordinates are not ours.
-There is a glitch in the system, - Ten said, - but to check what is that this ship is in need of fixing.
-Like hell it is, - other one said, - this is nothing like ours, Ten, it is probably near to impossible changing any parts, this is not as advanced as ours, if we could find a clue to where it comes from, that would be a record.
-I know, but you also know how good I am at my job.
-Detective Ten? – he turned around to see High court man coming in his direction.
-How may I help?
-We will move this aircraft to a different facility, location we will let you know once it will be secured, we need to make this as clean as we can, is that right?
Ten and his teammates nodded.
-Of course, sir, - Ten bowed, and cleared the ship.
-We should be heading back, detective, - his mates said before leaving, Ten’s phone rang at the same time.
-Detective Ten speaking.
-You should come to High court, there will be a member of staff to greet you and take you to us, they are coming to their senses.
Ten nodded and hang up. Soon enough he was going down the elevator with a member of staff, going lower than Ten had imagined of how deep the facility was build. And how?
-Detective, - Xiao Dejun greeted him, taking him though corridors, - so far, we have discovered all of the bodies are female, we are checking their health balance as we speak, they are definitely from another place, even Planet… so we have given them an injection of microchip, and also a vaccine, looks like they have taken them well. Also, since we do not know why they are here, do not think of this being uncivil, when they have not given us any answers either.
Ten ached a brow.
-You’ll see, - Dejun opened the door. On a high platform was ten chairs, all girls seated on them, tied up, all looking scared as ever, - and if you can get a criminal to talk, I assume this will be a piece of cake for you.
Ten smiled and nodded. Oh yes. He would enjoy this.
-Greetings, aliens, - Ten said walking towards the platform, none of the girls said anything back. – I am Detective Ten, and I will ask you some questions, if you do not answer there will be consequences, and I am sure none of you would like the ones I have in my mind.
You were shaking in your chair. You had no idea where you were, why were you tied up, how you came to this, and the detectives look was even more terrifying, especially his smirk.
He stood in front of one girl.
-Who are you? – when she didn’t respond, Ten walked over to the girl next to her and slapped her hard across the face. You jumped in your seat.
-Let me make this clear, if I ask, you answer, if you don’t answer, I make sure the person next to you pays for it, clear?
You and others nodded. A tear slipped from the corner of your eyes. Ten walked over to the girl next to you. Which meant- is she did not answer, he would slap you in return.
-Why are you here? – detective asked again, it looked like she was trying to formulate a sentence but trying to speak was getting difficult. The language felt strange on her tongue, the microchip that was planted, was only now starting to work. The question was understood, but to speak was a difficulty.
Not satisfied with “no answer”, detective was striding towards you with his hand ready, but before he could smack you, you found your voice and shouted loud and clear.
-I WILL TELL YOU ALL YOU WANT TO KNOW, - and then you went quiet, Ten leaned closer, - just don’t hit me, o-o-o-or anyone, p-p-please.
The tears you had felt frozen in place, and the saliva in your throat seemed to dry out too fast. The stare the detective was giving you, sent chills through your body.
-Who are you? – he asked.
Your throat was dry, and you couldn’t speak. Ten took this as a sign for water, he knew this face well after a long session of sinful pleasures, even his mouth was dry at some point. He was handed a glass, that he put to your lips and gave you a small sip. A little bit of water dripping down the corner of your lips. Ten’s cock twitched in his pants. His previous activities coming to mind.
-My name is Y/N, - you stated.
-Who are you, Y/N? – detective continued.
You were thinking to yourself- what do I say? Who am I, really?
-I am a regular girl, - you said, detective eye-level with you.
-And?
Ten was pushing you for answers, and you were trying hard, really trying, he walked to the girl before you and smacked her, since you had not given an answer.
One of the girls started sobbing, and Ten went to her.
-Who are you? – she sniffled, and tried to speak, Ten gave her water as well.
-I am Anna, - she spoke softly, trying not to cry, - I c-cannot remember…
Ten turned to Dejun.
-Had they been on drugs?
-Here is a report, - Dejun’s assistant handed Ten a piece of paper, various blood tests showed signs of unknown supplement in their blood. Even their blood was nothing they had ever seen. DNA looked completely anomaly, compared to theirs.
-We were trying to make a sample, but it was too fast to clear from their blood stream.
Ten nodded, thinking to himself. He looked at all girls, eyeing them carefully. They were female. Why would someone send females to attack? He checked photos of the girl naked bodies, curves and a bit of chubby thighs, so they were not sent to war, fighters have fair share of muscles, which none of these girls possessed. Their bodies were free from poison, so they were not sent here… or not meant to land here in the first place.
-I need to see the ship, - detective Ten spoke, - for now, leave them here, I will be back as soon as I can.
With that he left the building together with Dejun’s assistant.
The facility was located a few miles from the GYPE beach, the ship cleared from all the dust, all parts, that had broken apart, next to the ship. Engineers were working to recover any sort of information to help them.
-Detective Ten, this is the engineering team A, specializing in UFO’s, you have worked with them in past, - a man in his fifties shook hands with Ten. -My name is Leon Yah, I am their team leader.
-Yes, I remember, anything yet?
-A little bit, - the man said, taking Ten closer to the team. – This is Jungwoo, one of our best  new mechanical engineers and biochemists, he is helping us with this case, - Leon proudly presented Jungwoo, even putting his hands on the guys shoulder, - tell them what you know.
-So, I found a piece of electrics that I actually can use to pinpoint the location this ship came from, it carries the information, sort of like the black box, if you will. It is trying to get it now, so, then at least we might get a clue, what is the reason for crashing here, or any info at all.
Two beeps later, Jungwoo was the first to run towards his computer.
-Just what I though, - he said and then stopped, - what? How is this possible?
-What’s that? – Ten asked.
-There are fragments similar to CASE 101, 1992… but I have no idea of what that is.
-Whatever do you mean? – Ten asked, seeing Jungwoo’s face expresion, and the team leader Leon came closer.
-A while ago there was similar crash, only partly one, there was a ship that contained 2 people, and at that time we came across a different DNA, using one of the bodies, one of the females died, and the other…
-What’s with the other? – Jungwoo asked surprised, he had not heard of this.
-The other is my mother, - detective Ten spoke.
Jungwoo’s jaw went slack, he could not say a word. How had he not heard of this? This is important information.
-At that time, your mother told us, she was sent as a prostitute, because when she got drugged, she hadn’t used alcohol, so she was half awake when it all happened. And your father as a doctor, made sure she was taken care of. I remember that, as if it was yesterday…
“And fucked her like a prostitute he thought she was,” Ten gritted his teeth thinking about this.
-And a few years later I was born, half human half DYVLONY, - detective Ten never liked this part of the story, first of all, who knew, humans could carry a DYVLONY child, even be able to copulate in the first place, also, that is why he was born different. - Could they all be human females then?
-They might be, there is documents about your mother, that could be used to identify if they indeed are human, also maybe there is still metal research of the previous aircraft, that we could use. They should be with the High court, I will ring Xiao Dejun and let him know.
Jungwoo was checking through the information that he had received and sighed. For him this was indeed the first-time seeing UFO and hearing about different species gave him a weird tingle.
-This ship was not crafted by humans, that’s for sure.
-How can you bee certain? – Ten asked.
-If we do not possess this sort of metal, I do not think there is a possibility that this would come from humans, maybe the older report had more on that.
Yes, humans. Fragile creatures. Ten sighed, his mom was human, but heck she was strong woman, whom he loved dearly, and his father, who might have taken her for the wrong reasons, later fell in love and married her.
Team leader came back a few minutes later, giving the papers of what they had discovered to Ten, so he could get back to High court.
Stepping through the threshold, Ten was greeted by the ten females again, all still sat on the chairs provided, all still looking scared, but a bit more relaxed. After checking the papers about his own mother, Ten came across the idea of these females being sent to a different Planet as whores, the same as his mother once was. He just needed some answers to see if it is true.
-How did you end up in the aircraft? – Ten spoke, this time more softly.
-All I remember is me and my friends on a night out, - one girl spoke. You nodded, you remembered that as well.
-I had a drink, and then… - other one spoke, your memories were there as well, you remembered being dragged to the back.
-They took our identification, - you spoke, - and that is all I remember.
-I cannot even remember that, - another girl said, - I wish I didn’t drink that much.
Ten left together with Xiao Dejun to have a chat about further actions.
-It is clear that they were meant to be sent somewhere else, and they are harmless, - Ten said.
-What do you think we do?
-The same as thirty years ago, - he said, - we take them into our community, make sure they are taken care of, and see where it goes.
-How?
-I propose, we put each female together with a person who would take care of them, teach them our culture and see.
-Yeah, true, it’s not like putting them in prison, they are not criminals, - Dejun agreed.
-What about members of society council? There is plenty of men capable, - when Ten said those words he nearly choked, he knew half of the council would have them girls eagle spread on their beds in less then twenty hours, and he would be one of them.
-And you? – Xiao asked, Ten nodded, - let’s ask and see, shall we?
Two days later, all females were dressed in casual clothing, they were cleaned and fed, taught a few things about ownership, since that’s what they would be, OWNED. That meant that the household they would stay in, would have their own rules to follow.
You were anxious. Who are you going home with? Before your parting, all of you had a small chat, just expressing your worries and fears, since this was not exactly a trip to Maldives, or a trip in general. Besides, you were not friends, you were bunch of randomly selected girls for prostitution.
-I hope he will be nice, - Anna spoke, and then the thought of you going away with some random men started to scare you. It could go two ways, either way nice or, he would treat you like shit. All these men want is just one thing, which with your lack of experience would be -nothing. If he even would dare to touch you, you’d probably kick him in the balls, run away and hide.
At that point it didn’t seem like a bad idea, oh boy, how wrong you were.
You were the last one waiting for the person to pick you up. You never got to see who was here to collect other girls, so it was possible, that you would not see any of them again. Not unless, the person who you are going home, could tell you were they are.
Minutes turned to hours, your palms were sweaty, your heart was beating fast until…
-Miss Y/N, - you nearly jumped out of your body upon hearing your name. You stood up and walked through the door. – There is a paperwork to get signed and you should be able to leave as soon as it is done.
Next thing you know, detective Ten walks through the door.
-Ready? – his gaze found yours within seconds. Surely there must be a mistake… no way you are going home with this crazy dude… When he was in front of you, you realized that you must have spaced out, but detectives face looked like he was about to hit you.
-Ah, yes, - you managed to speak. He handed you paper where you had to sign, and after you followed him, no questions asked. When he opened the car for you, you sat down, Ten put a seatbelt on you, got in the drivers seat, started the engine and got going. It was silence. Long silence.
-So… - you wanted to start a conversation, and turned to your new “legal guardian”, he put his hand up and you put your hand on your mouth to shut it, turning your head to the other side, feeling the tears threatening to fall, he was about to smack you. So, he was abusive… oh no.
-Let’s make some things clear, - he started in a low voice, - you do not speak when you are not spoken to, no asking questions, you will not get any answers, make sure not to be in my way, when I leave for work, you do not leave the house at any point. Understood?
You nodded.
-I need words, Y/N, - he said it in clear language, even though normally people struggle with your name pronunciation.
-Yes, - you said quietly.
-Yes what? – he re-asked.
-I do not know, - you said your voice smaller than before.
-Call me Ten, better yet sir, if you wish, that’s more polite, yes?
-Yes, Ten, - you spoke in barely a whisper. Minutes later Ten turned left and you approached his house. Once inside the garage, Ten helped you out of the car, and you took in your surroundings. Everything was neat. Things on shelves, DIY items, you could not spot a dust anywhere. You noticed doors with password access, wondering what could be there, but were cut short with Ten waiting for you at other doors, which were the entrance to the house.
-You can walk through the whole house to see what’s where, but do not disturb me when I work, also since I am a detective, there is a few things you do not need to know or see. I will show you to your room.
You followed behind keeping your mouth shut. You did not want to anger a guy who was abusive, it terrified you to the bone, so you better stayed quiet. Your room was simple, it contained a bed and a nightstand next to it, the bedding was white, like half of the things in his house. There was a wardrobe, which was empty.
-There is a passage to bathroom, I will get you a towel, give me a second, - Ten walked inside, coming back with a towel, putting it on your bed. – how do you sleep?
-Huh?
Ten bit the inside of his cheek. His patience was running thin, the whole idea of a female staying at his house was somewhat disturbing, but also alluring in some way. Maybe soon he could have you tied up in his interrogation room, naked, pussy dripping and ass on display, he licked his lips.
“What is he thinking about? Pervert!” you thought to yourself.
-What do you wear?
If you were on Earth, you would crack a joke how you would sleep naked, but this was not the place or time to do so.
-Pajamas, - you answered, - really, it’s just shirt and trousers, - something more on, god know what this guy could be up to! Duh! Your brain signaled crazy thoughts.
-Ok, I will get you some, - with that he disappeared. You felt like you were in boarding school, not that you had a clue to what that feels like, but hey, imagination. You sat on the bed, your eyes were threatening you with tears that were gathering, but you looked up and thanked the gods for that you were alive. Could have been worse. You could have been sent to another Planet and could have been sold to some asshole as a whore.
Alright, he might not be the nicest guy, but he is providing you with a place to live so you were grateful. For the time being, once you figure out how to get away.
Ten was just about to get his car keys and go to store, when he received a message from Xiao Dejun. They used to be students, going to the same school when they were kids, as hard as it was for Ten, Dejun was always there to protect him, so they became friends.
-A video? – Ten said to himself and transferred the video to his tablet, - I will watch it when I come back.
With that he left. Once you heard the door being locked, you got up from the bed and went to explore. Passing by Ten’s room, you noticed it was not personal, there was no pictures, but at least he had a plant. A very weird looking one, but still a plant. Walking further through the house, you went in the kitchen. There was a tablet left on the table, you didn’t pay much attention to it at first, but walking past it caught your eye. It lit up, a video had been received and you checked if no one was watching you, and pressed “play”.
-??? – what you saw, made you question if the girls that got drugged were actual prostitutes. High court magistrate Xiao Dejun was balls deep in Anna and looked like she was enjoying it as much as he was. But she left only what, like two hours before you?! What the actual fuck was going on? Was this expected of you? To give your body to some alien? Did detective Ten fancy some good old human-alien pussy or what?
-Guess what, he ain’t getting nothing! – you nearly shouted, not noticing how detective Ten was right behind you.
-Getting what?
You jumped, before turning around, not even looking him in the eye.
-Getting what? I asked you a question!
-Uhm, nothing, sir, - you managed. Your back was covering the tabled, the video left on “pause”, as if nothing has happened, you had not seen nothing.
-Were you watching that? – detective Ten asked and you nodded a “no”, did not have to be a detective to see how your eyes darted elsewhere but him to know that you were lying, - I won’t tolerate liars.
Was he about to smack you? You couldn’t really tell, one thing for certain, he was not pleased.
-Let me ask you again, - he warned, - were you watching the video, that is my private property, and you did it without any permission?
You nodded your head. You felt like being scolded by your parents.
-I need words when I ask you question!
-Yes, sir, - you said quietly.
-Turn around, - he ordered, and you looked up at him as to ask “huh?”.
-Was I not clear? – he said again, - turn around, - so you did. – press play and watch the video.
Only then you noticed the length of it. A solid hour… You pressed “play” and closed your eyes. Ten didn’t see that you had closed your eyes. When moans and slapping sounds echoed through the kitchen you were trying not to cringe. Behind you, detective Ten was near enough grabbing his own crotch to relieve some stress, but he needed to punish you first.
-Are you getting wet listening to them? – you thought “what the fuck”, - I bet you are. Dirty girl, cannot wait for me to do that to you, yeah?
You were biting your lips in hopes of him stopping talking. On Earth you would have turned around, smacked the asshole and told him to fuck himself. Here… uhm, you stand and wait. A whoosh reached your bottom cheeks. A smack so loud, louder than the video being played, had reached you. You jumped and opened your eyes.
-How do you like it? – he was so close, you felt his breath on your neck, he smacked you again, groping your ass, - you are a good girl, aren’t you? Letting your hair down, biting your lip, teasing your partner just to see a reaction, well then, baby, I am all yours, besides, I have something others do not possess.
Your eyes were bulging out from your eye sockets. Was he dirty- talking you in sleeping with him? How to politely decline? Yikes.
-I apologize for watching this video, and I won’t do that again, I promise, - you stated, getting out of detectives grasp and running to your room, leaving Ten in the kitchen with growing tent in his trousers, squinting his eyes, trying to figure out what just happened.
His dirty talk always works, so why it had not affected you?
You were no virgin, but your past experiences were not the best either, so might as well count yourself as a reborn virgin. You were not the type of person to sleep with someone just like that, it just was not your thing. Being on a different Planet does not help either. Remembering how magistrate Xiao was even able to fit in Anna’s delicate body, had your body shutting down, ah a migraine was on its way.
You would think about that all night.
Duh.
Ten didn’t return, at least you didn’t hear him. Only later he came by your door to announce that dinner was ready.
-It’s not much, since I don’t know what you eat, it’s spicy though, - ha warned, you thanked him and sat down, having the first spoonful only small, in case it was something you would not be able to eat. He was studying you, there must be something about you, there was no chance he had lost his charms.
The food was fire.
Your run to the sink was so fast, Ten burst out laughing.
-You eat this? – you cried, pouring cold water on your tongue.
-Too spicy? – he giggled, you would have laughed as well, if it didn’t burn your mouth or lips.
-This is poison!!! – you still kept watering your mouth, while Ten continued eating. When you sat back down, your face red and puffy as if you just had an allergic reaction, Ten looked up at you, standing up and walking towards the cupboards, he opened one up.
-What of this can you eat? – he started a conversation.
You turned around and saw something similar to oats.
-Do you have milk?
Ten opened the fridge. At least a porridge, that will do, nothing much, but hopefully will be edible.
Few moments later you were enjoying a porridge that actually tasted like porridge.
-I bought you clothes, - Ten said, - left them in a bag by your door.
-Thank you, - you stated, and Ten didn’t incline that he was angry with you for not addressing him “sir” like you were meant to. You washed the dishes and went back to your room. Opening the bag detective had left you, surprised laugh left your mouth. He had bought you jumpers and trousers, shirts and even a couple of underwear, at least you though that was an underwear, some holes missing, he must have bought them from somewhat “kinky” section.
From time to time you started to hear screams, loud, so loud, you could not sleep. Turns out, Ten as a detective did quite a lot of methods in catching criminals, that no one knew about. Forbidden methods, the ones, you cannot use, if you work for police task force. He assured you, that it is nothing to worry about, but how can you not?
-It just sounded like someone was about to die, - you stated at the dinner table, chewing on your porridge.
-I did tell you not to ask questions… - Ten warned.
-I don’t, - you talked back, - it’s a statement of the sounds I heard.
-You wanna see how I do business? – Ten offered, - I can take you downstairs and show you how I deal with criminals.
-No, thank you, - you turned around, going to sink and washing your bowl.
-Come on, don’t be scared now, I will show you, - to be true, Ten wanted you to see what happens if you become a perp. Also, that would work as a warning in case you want to do something that Ten would not approve of, like- running away, which, you have thought of every night before going to sleep.
Ten dragged you downstairs, typed the code for the other doors, which you were curious about, and you stepped inside.
Blue colors, chains from the ceilings, a table further down, your eyes had to get used to the lighting, until you spotted a chair, before looking around to see other “interesting” instruments, that gave you creeps. Ten walked further, opening a cupboard, taking out and loading a gun, pointing it at you.
-What the… - you choked on your saliva, - uhm, are you doing?
-You know what this is? – he asked, still pointing a gun at you, you nodded. – this is paralyzer. Guess what it does?
-Paralyzes people? – you asked in a small voice.
Someone coughed, diverting your attention, turning around, you noticed the criminal, who was beat to a pulp, looking closer you noticed sharp pointers in his back from the chair he was sat in.
-Wh-what are those? – you whispered.
-I did an acupuncture, - he stated easily, - tell you what, - he kept a pause, - it works miracles...
You swallowed. The blue light made Ten look especially evil. You watched as Ten pressed a couple of numbers on remote control, and the spikes disappeared. The gun was now pointed at the criminal, and without a single thought, you saw Ten shoot the guy, without remorse, not even a flinch. You jumped. On Ten’s command, the spikes went back through the guys back, he screamed in pain.
You did not want to end up like the guy, your feet moving faster than your brain, out of the room, through the door, through the garage entry, running away, not even knowing where. You ran till you were out of breath, stopping randomly to breath in, catch your breath and get going. You were sure, detective would hunt you down, and if you don’t move faster, he might catch you, and god knows, maybe torture you like that guy.
Lungs on fire, seemed like you had run for hours. Taking in your surroundings you smelled freshness from something close, walking further you found out you had come to beachside. Blue water, clear and see-through greeted you with opened arms. There was something else that caught your attention – police tape, surrounding what looked like a hole in the sand.
-This must be where they found us, - you said to yourself.
-And here I thought you were a good girl, - a voice not much further behind you startled you. You turned around to see detective Ten with a serious expression on his face.
-Why? – you asked, Ten didn’t say a word, - why do you treat me like that, huh?
Not knowing, your body moved closer to Ten’s, your pointer finger poking at his chest.
-What do you want from me? – you shouted, - I am not like Anna or anyone else, I won’t do what they are doing, I should not be here! Why are you abusive? Do you want to hit me? – you breathed in, - I am from another planet, I do not know how to be someone I am not, I do not wish to be owned, and certainly not by someone like you.
You finished your sentence in barely a whisper. Ten got a hold of both your hands.
-I don’t like your tone, - he started, and you laughed in his face.
-So what? – you laughed, - what now? I end up like the guy you tortured?
You got out of his grasp, fleeting towards the see as fast as you could. Ten was after you, as you ran in the water, he chased after you. Your feelings on high alert, there was no turning back if you wanted to go back home.
Not even reaching deep enough you got on your knees without holding your breath and getting under water. Ten’s strong arms pulled you back up.
-No, - he said in warning voice, - this is not how we do things here.
You still were trying to get underwater.
-No, - he said again, grabbing you towards his much stronger body, - STOP!
Tears felt down your cheeks. You really thought that killing yourself was the exit. When you didn’t struggle anymore, Ten started to pull you out from the water. He was completely silent. Bringing you with him to the car, he put the seatbelt on, got in the drivers seat and drove.
Both of your bodies were soaked, and the closest person to help him was his own family. Pulling up in the drive- way, Ten got out of the vehicle first, then helping you out. Soon a knock on the door, they opened with Ten’s fathers face.
-Hmm, what do we see here? – he asked and smiled, opening the doors wider, letting Ten drag you inside, - honey, we have a visitor.
His mother came rushing from the kitchen, when you saw her you had to blink a couple of times, she was a bit shorter than you, near Ten’s height, looking not at all alien- like (if that was even a thing), and you started questioning things.
-Ten! – she greeted with big smile on her face, and then she noticed you, - hello!
She came straight for you.
-Let’s get you all cleaned up, shall we? – with that she took you upstairs, towards the bathroom, opening drawers she took out a bathrobe and a towel, she made sure water was warm in the shower, she helped you undress, not saying a word, she washed your hair, helped you get out of the shower, she took care of you, not even asking questions.
Meanwhile downstairs.
-What did you do? – Ten’s father asked, handing him a change of clothes, that looked like parachute on Ten’s smaller body.
-I did nothing, it’s a new case.
-Case? – his father ached an eyebrow, Ten nodded, - don’t tell me she’s an…
-Human, - Ten sat down, his father handed him a beer, - I’m driving, - Ten stated, declining.
-What happened? – his dad questioned.
-Another ship crashed, with ten females, all alive, we just took them in, I got her..
-What’s her name?
-Y/N, - Ten said sighing.
-She’s beautiful, - his dad stated, - so what’s the problem, she’s not giving you any, or is she bad at it?
Ten looked at his dad with “??” (what the fuck) expression.
-It’s complicated, - Ten said quietly.
-Hey, I know what is complicated, - his father let out a small laugh, - I have lived with that for a while now. But let me give you some advice. You must be clear about your wishes, if you wanted her for sex, I trust you have no issue with that…but ask her first, yeah? I am a doctor after all son, but humans are more than that. They have feelings, they have issues, they have past, if she is here, think about what she was like back on her planet, she is missing what she had, doesn’t matter if that was something special or nothing, heck, she might have not been anyone, but even that she might miss.
Ten nodded. He hadn’t thought about that. His penis was thinking first, by the looks of the situation.
-Never forget that there is trust in any relationship, you do not have to be a couple to have some kind of relation between you, even if she just lives in your house, or you “own” her for now, you got to look deeper, - Ten smirked, his dick would be up to your cervix, cannot go deeper than that, and his father re-phrased, seeing his reaction, - Ten, you know what I mean.
-I can’t help it, - he stated,- that is all I think about, all of them are something I have never seen before, it’s like a desert I didn’t think I needed until I saw… wow!
-I believe so, you know your mom and I, that’s how I feel.
DYVLONY people were all sorts – there was not a single one that Ten would count as somewhat other-worldly, all his sexual partners were gorgeous, taking him the best ways possible, but he had not felt any attachment to any of them. It was sensual acts with no strings attached. But being with you even for a dinner time, his thoughts always travelled elsewhere.
Upstairs.
You were sat together on their bed, while Ten’s mother combed your hair.
-He is not a bad guy, - she started a conversation, you looked up, - I don’t know what has happened, but I am sure whatever it is, you can talk it through. But first, do you know anything about me?
You nodded a “no”.
-A while ago I was out, clubbing with my friends, when I saw a girl being dragged out forcefully, she didn’t look like she was moving, and I saw that only because I went to use restroom, so, instead of getting my friends first, I headed straight into something I should not have. Hours later I found myself on spaceship, eyes wide opened, seeing outer space, solar system, until I was knocked out when transferring into another galaxy, and later, naked on a medical table.
You were shook, not knowing what to say.
-Turned out I had landed on a planet, while the other girl I tried to save, had died from the impact when we crashed. I was an alien to them, was taken to the doctor’s home, he was collecting material on me via my DNA. I was so, so shy, while he was doing his job, I had to remain without clothing. When he discovered that my body was similar to his fellow female mates, he wanted to experiment and so…
-I don’t think I want to know more, - you said in low voice, - it’s horrible.
She giggled.
-No, no, I will give you advice, - she smiled and whispered in your ear, - we are much tighter in that area than woman here, so, guess what I did?
You looked surprised. She continued to brush your hair.
-I let him sleep with me and he gave me everything, on top of that, he did not touch me if I said no, and trying for a child, even unexpectedly, was our common decision, until we married before Ten was born. Our bodies are more appealing to them than their women, and we can use that to our advantage from time to time. If you want something from my son, use your sex-appeal and body, he will be at your feet in no time.
She leaned again closer to you and whispered.
-Besides, you are where fantasies come from… - you looked at her and she wiggled her eyebrows, - and my son has been gifted very well… - It was weird listening to his mother speaking those things, but you guessed she was not wrong. Remembering how Ten had eyed you up and down, thinking you don’t notice, it was perfectly clear what his intentions were.
Soon enough you were downstairs eating hot soup together with Ten’s parents. Looking closer you saw similarities between him and his dad, and him and his mom. His charms definitely came from his mom.
What if you did use your body, until you would be ready to give it to Ten?
Later saying farewell’s, you left, going back to Ten’s house. A sudden phone call startled your calm journey, detective Ten picked up.
-Hey, tiger, - a female greeted, and Ten didn’t hesitate to answer.
-What do you want?
-Oh, is that a way to treat someone? I thought we might meet up and have a chat, - she moaned in the speaker, - have that fat cock of yours stuffed deep in…
Ten ended the conversation. You felt your face warm up but didn’t look up. You both had not spoken a word to each other.
-Don’t mind that, - Ten finally said.
-Ok, - you nodded.
Ten opened the doors for you like he usually did, locking them behind both of you.
-I will be down here, so keep upstairs will you? – he said, you nodded and left to your room.
Nothing was heard from downstairs, and you fell asleep.
Ten moved the ceiling chains, washed up, cleared table and disinfected all his toys and torture equipment. He looked at the butt plugs, taking one, he thought of how much time he would need to prep you, till you could be rewarded with one of his cocks. Assorting vibrators by speed, size and use, he also put various lubricant bottles next to them.
Giselle was on speed dial, and he was hesitating.
-Ring, rriiingggg, rrrrringggg!
-I thought you will call me back, tiger, I suppose it was not the best timing?
-No, I needed to speak with you without others listening, - Ten’s words were soft, - whatever we had going on, it’s over. I want you to respect the decision I have made.
-What? – Giselle felt angered, - who is she? Does she suck you off better than I do? Can she squirt like I do? What is it Ten?
-It is nothing like that, Giselle, you were brilliant and we had much fun, but that’s it, I hope you understand.
-No, I don’t, - she was honest, - I cannot believe you are leaving me for some other hoe!!!
-Just let go, - Ten spoke, - we were never together.
He ended the call, deleting Giselle’s number from his contact list. The same time he received a photo from Xiao Dejun. Selfie with him and Anna tangled in bedsheets, text under the picture “she is all I wanted”.
Passing by your bedroom, Ten stopped.
-You are all I want, - he whispered and went to bed himself.
***
-Ten, I had to show you this, - Xiao Dejuns voice echoed through his earphones, Ten was re-watching the video he had received, one hand down his trousers. Anna walked over to Dejun, while he sat on the edge of the bed. Her hands was massaging Dejuns legs through his sweats, and she continued to bite her lip, while moaning sweet nothings.
Ten rested his head against the headboard, slowly attending to his member, Anna in the video, had just pulled down Dejuns trousers, licking on his penis at no time, her hand wrapped around the base. Her pretty lips wrapped around Dejuns cock, sucking on the head, then licking it up and down.
-She’s a naughty girl, -Xiao spoke to both, Anna and Ten to hear, - aren’t you?
She just nodded and continued to suck. Ten felt the wetness from his cock onto his hand and used it as a lubrication to continue his masturbation. Going up and down, a little harsher each time, stopping in between to see the video.
Anna was wiggling her butt while lying on her stomach, and Dejuns dick was seen in the picture, she got on her knees, spreading her ass cheeks, showing herself of. Seconds later Xiao had his dick spreading Annas lower lips, sliding in her opening a little by little.
-Ugh, it’s gonna be…- Xiao swallowed, - so… so tight…
He couldn’t even formulate a sentence, and Anna continued to tease him, wiggling her booty, allowing Xiao’s member to slide deeper and faster, until it turned into a proper pounding, which Anna gracefully received.
Ten felt his balls tighten, the orgasm was near, through his earphones he heard a noise of something crashing, getting out of the bed straight away, headphones and tablet on the bed, trousers up, he was ready to search for wherever the sound came from. Mentally kicking himself, it was hella hard to put his dick in his trousers when it was like this.
-Fuck, - he swore under his breath, going through the corridor, spotting the light from kitchen. You were on your knees, picking up pieces of smashed glass, until you saw a figure approaching, nearly jumping back.
Seeing it was Ten you quicky apologized.
-I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you, - you said, - It’s an accident.
Somehow for whatever reason, your eyes travelled from Ten’s face to his disheveled shirt and trousers, where it was as clear to see outline of his penis as it was to know you were an alien on this planet. It was long and hard, begging for attention. You looked away, continuing to “be looking” for some glass pieces that you could have left behind unnoticed.
Ten was just standing there not saying nothing. You disposed of the glass, he still said nothing. While washing your hands, his mother’s words came back to you – use your sex appeal and he will be at your feet no time.
Harder done than said, but all or nothing, you thought to yourself.
-You need help with that? – you asked, not turning around. Ten looked at you.
-What’s that? – he asked.
-Do you need help with that…? - you turned around to point to his lower body. Ten ached a brow, there must be a catch, were you referring to his dick or were you playing him?
He stepped closer.
-What do you mean? – he asked still moving closer, and the next thing you did, surprised your inner self as much as it surprised Ten.
You grabbed his penis through his trousers. Ten nearly choked, you were kicking yourself mentally. Shit. What now?
Looking him in the eye, you moved your hand on his length a couple of times, only to reach in his pants to stroke his naked member seconds later. Ten was used to his hands doing the job, and he had no problem finding a partner either, so why was this so weird?
-I want… - you started, - I want to make a deal.
-Mmmh? – Ten questioned, your hand stroking him ‘oh so well’, if you would continue, he sure would give you everything. You got down, pushing his trousers down as you went, not far enough to see his other dick.
-You could… - you were about to strike a deal while performing a blow job, this was just ‘no’, if you would see yourself right now. Your lips licked his tip, Ten could have come right there, he waited patiently. Your mouth was wet and warm, Ten groaned from the sight and feeling, how your cave welcomed him, your tongue licking the sides of his dick, and then you started sucking. Pre cum tasted bitter on your tongue, but you managed to deepthroat him in no time, letting Ten control your movements a bit, holding on his hips, now using your mouth only. You stopped to breath in. – you could let me leave the house from time to time… for walks… maybe go to the shop… etc.?
Ten nodded. He definitely was not thinking straight.
You took one of his hands and put it at the back of your head, taking him back into your mouth, letting him finish. Ten’s hand grasped a handful of your hair as he fucked your mouth mercilessly, quiet moans (but still moans) left his mouth, until he stilled, hot liquid filled your throat and mouth, all you could do was swallow. Coming down from his high, Ten noticed how your nipples were pressing though the fabric of your pajama shirt, so you were enjoying it. His charms were working.
Ten didn’t let you say or do anything, pulling you up quickly, just to push you closer to living room where the sofa was. Not saying a word, he pulled your pants down together with your underwear. Staying on the floor, Ten made you sit on the sofa, spreading your legs opened for his hungry gaze. You sat back up to say something.
-Shh, - he whispered, - I won’t do anything to hurt you, let me take care of you, - you nodded. Kissing the inside of your thigh, he let you put your guard down and relax a bit. You hadn’t shaved, but he didn’t seem to care either. To test the waters, Ten slid his tongue through your pussy lips lapping up all the nectar that had gathered there, moaning at the taste, diving back in, grabbing onto your hip, pulling you to him. He watched you through his eyebrows. He looked hungry to say the least.
This was the first time someone performed oral sex on you. Your hand went down to play with Ten’s hair, but he grabbed it before you could reach him. He moved your fingers to your clitoris, pressing onto it, your nerves coming alive, his hand together with yours circling your nerve bundle, his tongue sliding in your vagina, with a couple more thrusts you came, a powerful orgasm (which you were sure had never reached before) making you close your eyes, as Ten still was licking you up and your bound hands continued assault on your clit. All of the sudden there was something else, a new sensation, your eyes shot opened straight away. Ten watched your reaction. One of his fingers was massaging the tight rim of your ass, his lips came back to latch onto your clitoris, the feeling nearly making you lunge forward. His finger was now the first knuckle deep between your butt cheeks.
It was as scary as it was exciting. Your body grew used to it, and then Ten would push his finger deeper, penetrating you slowly and then faster, stretching you out, your legs were near to giving up on you, your sticky substance providing Ten’s fingers with more lubrication. It went from one finger to two. Another orgasm going through you in vibrations, only then Ten let go of your clitoris, licking up last time, you shying away from his touch, as it was too much. His fingers were still in your other entrance moving in and out, your vagina convulsing around nothing.
There was a sound of silence. Only the clock announcing it’s 1AM. You looked at him, and Ten back at you. He smiled.
A?
He freaking smiled!!!
Only then his other hand left your other entrance, now resting on your legs. His other hand was touching your hip tenderly. A long pause of silence in between the silence.
-I want you, - Ten spoke, - I want to do so much to you… and I won’t hide it. I want to fuck you so badly you won’t be able to walk for days…
You silenced him leaning in and smashing your lips onto his. Your hands holding on his shoulders, your tongue tasting yourself on his lips. The kiss was gentle, you were exploring each other’s mouths, Ten was standing up from the floor, taking you with him. Your legs around his lower back, as he carried you to his room.
This would be the first time he would make love to someone on his bed/ in his bedroom.
Once on top of the bed, Ten took of his sweats, revealing his other counterpart, your eyes widened. How was that even possible? Ten pulled up your shirt, throwing it somewhere kissing your chest with chaste kisses, sucking on your nipples for a short period of time, discarding his own shirt next. His body was lean, no abs, but inviting, with a tattoo decorating his chest and you licked it, swirling your tongue around his left nipple.
He laid you down, disposing of whatever was left on his bed, and it landed with a thud, his body finding it’s way between your legs, a trail of kisses left all over your body, your hands in his hair, no restrictions this time.
Ten reached your lips, an eye contact was made, and he whispered.
-Which one? – you didn’t understand at first, but he grabbed your wrist, and you were soon touching his cocks. – this one?
He let you touch it briefly before moving onto his other dick.
-Or perhaps this one? – the same pattern of you touching him happened again, and you were confused. It was clear that one of them was thicker, but the other was longer, and you didn’t know which one to choose. Ten kissed your lips seeing your hesitation. – are you worried?
He asked, and you nodded. The stretch will definitely hurt, you were sure of it, so you chose randomly. Little did you know, that the one you chose was the longer one. Ten fondled with your breasts, while kissing you, slowly moving his hand down, to position himself at your entrance. He was holding his breath when he slid inside an inch, and you gasped at the intrusion, spreading your legs to make more room, he looked down, pushing in a bit more then looking up at your scrunched face.
-Just a bit more, - he said quietly, tenderly stroking your hips and your waist, your sides and back down, sliding in a bit more every time. Kisses reached your lips again, he tasted blood from them, it was clear that he had hurt you a bit, but he would make up to it.
-I am going to move now, - he spoke softly, you nodded. Ten pulled out almost all the way just to thrust back in, earning a whelp from you, shallow thrusts were changed for deeper ones, as he studied your features and body language to what you enjoyed more. Once he discovered that longer/deeper thrusts make you arch your back from the bed, he would suck on your nipples and penetrate you like that just to hear the volume of your moans. Your body was like a violin he enjoyed playing.
Ten felt the pressure coming in slow waves of pleasure, he needs you to come first, your hands leaving scratch marks on his back as a proof, that you needed the orgasm as much as he does. He changed the tempo. Shallow thrusts, faster tempo, quick kisses on your lips, quiet whispers in your ears.
-Will you come for me, - he questioned, you could not answer with words, so you nodded.
-More, - you whispered, - more Ten, give me more…
Wet squelching sounds echoed in the room, your essence dripping on the sheets, thrust after a thrust, Ten was providing you generously, his hand coming between your bodies to give you that one last push, when he circled your clit, your core clenched furiously straight away, and you screamed, reaching your high, grabbing onto Ten.
His thrusts became faster only to go slower when he came after you, your core milking him for all he’s worth, his cum dripping from your entrance. Pulling out he leaned in.
-Hold on for me a bit more, - a quiet whisper reached you. His other cock was being pushed inside of you as you nearly cried out. It stretched you a lot more than the first one. You had never felt fuller of something, like in that moment.
Your muscles kept on clenching around his other member, the sliding in and out was making your head spin, you felt like you were about to burst.
-Ten…. Ten… - his name was the only thing on your lips, - Ten… I can’t….
You begged.
Your erratic moans and pained whispers were edging Ten towards another orgasm of his own. He kissed you as he stilled inside you and came, quickly rushing his thrusts to not to hurt you, when your body started to convulse again, trapping Ten’s cock in a vice like grip, Ten thrusted forcefully a couple more times, and when the pressure felt too much, he pulled out only to witness a clear fluid squirt on his lower abdomen, your body going limp in the process.
He placed you on the pillows carefully, cleaned you up, got a glass of juice, waking you up with soft touches.
-Hey, - he greeted giving you a sip.
-Hi, - you said back.
-How are you feeling? – Ten asked, you reached for him and kissed his lips. – I see.
He giggled, earning a laugh from you, he looked at you again, kissing your lips.
-About your request about going out… - he started, - you think after this you are leaving the bed?
You smacked his shoulder playfully.
-Come here, - he smiled pulling you closer to him. Maybe staying on this planet won’t be as bad as you thought it will be. - DYVLONY is now home… will you stay with me?

Monsters in the Closet
Title: Monsters in the Closet
Summary: “You’re so much nicer when you’re bigger.”
Roman knows he can’t change the past. He can’t change the way he treated Virgil horribly, driving him to feel the only way he could be accepted was to be the villain of the story. But he can sit there and feel guilty knowing he is not worthy of any of the trust this young Virgil has placed in him.
(Part of the Tiny Virgil verse, takes place after An Itsy Bitsy Nightmare)
Word-Count: 2.7k
Pairing: Brotherly Prinixety
Warnings: Guilt, Panic/Anxiety, Treating Someone Wrongfully in the Past, Deaging, Hurt/Comfort
This part of a very late birthday present for @theeternalspace! I’m so sorry this took so long, please forgive me and I hope you enjoy! :)
-
Roman lets out a sigh and opens his eyes. Virgil is still snuggled close to his chest, asleep again after waking up what appeared to be a horrible nightmare. Roman can’t find himself to fall back asleep. His mind refuses to settle, refuses to let go of what Virgil said to him moments ago.
“You’re so much nicer when you’re bigger.”
The words rumble in Roman’s mind like that of a great and fearsome thunderstorm. How could it not? All the more confirmation that regardless of the unfounded trust young Virgil placed in him, he’d still expected to inevitably be treated terribly.
And that? The guilt of that stings deeper than any sting of the blade or a bandersnatch’s ferocious bite.
It also makes him wonder what exactly the Ankle-Terror thought was going on. Kids aren’t stupid. Naïve, yes, but that’s different from being stupid. They’re creative and innovative in ways adults couldn’t dream to be. Plus, they tended to love engaging in-depth conversations about Disney.
Sometimes, Roman misses the days when Thomas was a kid. Back when they were free to run around in the backyard and reimagine the swings as a spaceship or the underneath of the trampoline as the lair of an evil sorcerer. Back when they weren’t bound by inane things such as time constraints and the logistics of translating an idea into a real-world possibility.
He could get Thomas and the others roped in a fantastical make-believe for hours. Weeks even of stretching an incredible imaginary world to its limits. The only things that ever stood in their way was the outside forces of school, parents and bedtime.
Nowadays, the reminiscing with a tinge of regret. There always had to be villains to fight, you see. An evil mad scientist. A corrupt king. A greedy dragon. The list goes on and on. He never ever played the villain. He’d always cast himself and Thomas as the heroes. Logan and Patton were the supporting stars. Virgil and the rest? The villains through and through.
Virgil at this age would be used to this treatment. Rather than in his rightful heroic role as Protector, Defender, Watcher of All Perceived Threats--he played roles such as a wicked sorcerer who cast fear and disgrace upon the entire kingdom with his heinous sorcery.
He took to the roles without much grumbling. Oftentimes, he didn’t perform to young Roman’s expectations. Roman would chastise his performances, critiquing every bit. He wasn’t ever scary or evil enough for a Side responsible for making Thomas scared of monsters under his bed.
Virgil would also veto actions such as climbing super high up a tree and using it as a crow’s nest for a pirate ship. Much to Roman’s dismay, the others would side with him. Logan because Thomas could break a bone if he should fall and Patton because their parents wouldn’t approve. Thus making Virgil a major downer at times in Roman’s eyes and all the more deserving of the villain title.
It wasn’t until Thomas was older, closer to middle school, that Virgil started lashing out. He refused to play along, slinking off to sulk in his room. His influence had also grown and suddenly it wasn’t just monsters under the bed anymore--the monsters were everywhere. Homework, Teachers, Friends, Family. Roman worked overtime to help Thomas escape to worlds unfettered by these fears.
Of course, back then, he presumed this was Virgil fully showing his true colors as an antagonist. Thomas himself believed it, wishing vehemently for Virgil to just disappear. It was Roman’s responsibility, nay his purpose, to make Thomas’s dreams and desires come true. He was the Fairy Godmother to Thomas’s Cinderella. So for years and years he’d pursued this dream, desperate to make Thomas happy, proud even.
Now, he knows better. He knows that Virgil is more than just Anxiety, just like Roman and the others are more than what their title implies. He is vigilant, he keeps Thomas safe from external threats. Sometimes he can be overzealous, but he means well. And shutting him out isn’t the answer. It never was.
With all that in mind, he wonders if the Boy Terror thinks this is one of Roman’s elaborate make-believe games. Roman could easily picture a younger him coming up with a make-believe game involving himself and the others being adults. True, Thomas back then liked envisioning himself as a kid defeating the evil dragon like kids his age did in the media he watched.
But all kids at some point wonder what it’d be like to be an adult. They imagined themselves in the most exciting professions that made a real impact on the world. Then they’d grow up and very few of them made it to such professions.
(Except Thomas of course. Roman is incredibly proud of him and his accomplishments as an Ex-Viner turned Youtuber. Yes, they are still far from achieving feats such as Hollywood or Broadway, but still! For a while Thomas had to settle for a real, sensible job such as a chemical engineer. While science interested him, it didn’t drive him the way that creative pursuits such as singing and acting had. Thomas is lucky to be able to have a platform to do what he loves. Roman tries reminding himself of this during incredibly rare moments of insecurity.)
Kid Fright must be ecstatic about this. For possibly the first time in his life Creativity is including him in a game without making him the villain. Adult Virgil doesn’t talk much about the past--the few times Roman has tried to breach the topic it’d been an instant shutdown.
But Virgil has always cared for them, even before they’d all realized this. He must’ve taken any part Roman gave him out of a desperation to be with them and keep them safe. It sickens Roman just thinking about it. He doesn’t know how Virgil stayed strong for so long. Roman doesn’t know if he could’ve lasted a day in Virgil’s place.
He is probably also terrified and waiting for the other shoe to drop. Regardless of his age, Virgil always expects the worst out of any scenario. Even now that’s been a year since he’s been accepted among the core sides that make up Thomas. He can’t help it, it’s in his nature. Roman can’t blame him for it. One year isn’t enough to undo the damages that the other twenty-nine years caused.
One thing is for certain: if he does think this is one of Roman’s make-believe games, he must think Thomas is still a kid. And Roman’s not sure if he should let Virgil know any different. In fact, it might be best to keep Virgil distracted while the others work to find the solution to this strange vexing problem. Because he knows Virgil won’t take it well to finding his host all grown-up. He thinks that none of them would in his place.
So he’ll keep Fall Out Kid safe away in the mindscape and continue being the Prince he deserved. He’ll allow Virgil to be the hero and he’ll play all the other roles. Sidekick, damsel-in-distress, villain--if he must. It’s silly, but he’s almost buzzing with excitement at all the worlds they could explore from within the common area. Cowboys, Spaceship, Space Cowboys. The possibilities are endless!
A small hand tugs at his sleeve, tugging him away from his thoughts altogether. He looks down at the inquisitive eyes slightly shrouded by a mop of dirty blond hair.
“Yes, little prince?” He says, trying to blink away the prickling sensation in his eyes.
He refuses to cry again in front of the Little Shop of Terror. He knows he will have to confront his bubbling guilt and sorrow at some point, but for now he must push it aside. He is used to this. Being a hero means sometimes remaining strong and not showing vulnerability to loved ones.
“M’hungry.” Virgil murmurs into his chest, little arms wrapped around Roman’s neck. It’s almost endearing with how much he resembles a baby possum clinging to their mother. Roman isn’t used to a Virgil so physically affectionate.
Virgil is like a feral cat. You couldn’t hug or pat him on the shoulder without warning. You had to ask and very rarely did he accept, even if it came from Patton. No, the best way is to let him initiate it. Let him lean his head against your shoulder, or his leg overlapping your own during a movie night.
You also don’t acknowledge it and by not acknowledging it, Virgil then inches his way more until it grows into a proper hug. Then he would withdraw and promptly act like nothing  happened. Like you were to forget the interaction ever occured in the first place.
Logan has a theory that it’s because Virgil is the Fight-or-Flight instincts and physical affection lowers his guard in a way he isn’t completely comfortable with. Roman now has a theory that it’s a lot more heartbreaking than that.
“You’re hungry?” Roman asks, attempting to steer his mind out of Despairing Drive and into Present Place.
A small growling noise occurs and Jack Smallington ducks his head down, embarrassed.
Roman isn’t entirely surprised considering that it’s been about eight hours since they discovered approximately five-year-old Virgil in the place of grown-up Virgil. Who knows how long he’d been like that, alone in his room, before that. Virgil also rarely eats so the poor kid probably woke up hungry.
Roman feels so stupid. If it’d been Patton or Logan watching him, the first thing they would’ve made sure is if he was hungry. Because kid or not, it isn’t in Virgil’s nature to be self-advocating. That type of stuff freaks him out. Yet another reason Roman is completely unqualified to watch over Virgil.
“Okay,” Roman breaths in, smiling, “thanks for letting me know, big guy. To the kitchen at once!”
With that, he hoists Virgil up, settling him on top of his shoulders. There’s a squawk of surprise and Roman’s almost worried until it turns into a gleeful giggle. When Roman lets out a neigh, pretending he’s a horse, Virgil’s giggles grow louder.
“You’re not a horse,” Virgil says.
“Neigh I am!” Roman says, “I am your trusty steed and we’re embarking on a perilous-but-completely-safe journey to the kitchen!”
He treks towards the kitchen, clicking his tongue in an imitation of a horse clip-clopping along.
“Faster,” Virgil urges, resting his hands on top of Roman’s head.
“Faster?” Roman asks, almost stopping in surprise.
“Yeah!” Virgil insists, “We gotta get there as fast as possible before any monsters come and eat us!”
“Never fear,” Roman says, “For I shall get us there before any monster even thinks of gobbling us up!”
With that Roman quickens his pace, ensuring he had a firm hold onto Virgil to keep him falling off.
“Faster, faster, faster!” Virgil chants in an anxious yet excited tone, “I think I see one!”
“Oh?” Roman turns his head back, “Oh, I see him too! Neigh, we better hurry!”
There isn’t an actual monster there. No sharp fangs or numerous eyes glaring menacingly in their direction. He can’t tell if Virgil is making up a game or if he actually believes there is one there. Either way, Roman is Creativity. If there’s one thing he knows best, it’s how to combat imaginary foes. Such as reaching the threshold of the kitchen.
With one great bound, he makes it onto the black-and-white checkered tiles.
“Aha! Now no monsters can attack us while we feast in the dwelling of this noble kitchen!” Roman grins, setting Virgil atop the kitchen counter before jumping up to sit beside him.
Virgil beams up at him, face wide with utter delight and awe. Roman is left dumbfounded at this. Even as a kid, Virgil had been very closed-off with his emotions. So shy and distrustful of everyone and everything. But here he looks at Roman like he’s some great hero or something.
‘How,’ Roman wonders, ‘how can you look at me like this when I’m the obstinate villain of this story?’
“Princey,” Virgil swings his legs, “won’t Dad be upset if he finds us sitting on the counter?”
Roman blinks. At first he thinks Virgil is referring to Thomas’s father until he remembers Patton also goes by Dad. For the longest time, Pat had even been insistent that was his name. In the way that young children believe their parents’ real names really are Mom and Dad.
“Well,” Roman says, offering a pinky, “I won’t tell if you won’t.”
“Okay.” Virgil hesitates before interlocking his tiny pinky with Roman’s.
“Excellent! Now what would you like to eat?”
“Ummmm, I--I don’t know.” Virgil bites his lips, eyes flickering around the kitchen. Roman’s heart squeezes at this. He should’ve known such an open-ended question would set his anxiety off. They’ve learned recently that it was better giving Virgil the option of clearly-defined choices rather than vague ones.
“Would you like grilled cheese or spaghetti?” He asks kindly instead.
“Grilled cheese? With applesauce?” Virgil doesn’t meet his gaze, as if afraid Roman will condemn his choices.
Roman smiles, “Your wish is my command.”
He could’ve just snapped the food into existence right then and there. A few years back, it would’ve been enough to suffice. But as much as the Sides influence Thomas, the same holds true the other way around. Thomas once saw a fanart of Patton cooking breakfast for the sides and the idea stuck.
Now Roman could still summon fully prepared meals but they weren’t super filling. Roman didn’t mind too much; contrary to popular belief (Logan) cooking could be a very creative endeavor. As Thomas’s creativity he could make up steps to dishes and still have them turn out perfect in the end. He may or may not enjoy it simply because it frustrated Logan to no end.
He hops off the kitchen counter, snapping a finger. Instantly cabinet doors magically open as the ingredients and the materials he needed floated out onto the countertop beside the stove. Okay, so he cheated a bit, but just because the others lacked a little imagination didn’t mean he couldn’t bend reality in a place where reality is inconsequential.
Roman turns to Virgil, unable to hide his smile at Virgil’s gobsmacked expression.
“Here, you can help put butter on the bread,” He tells Virgil, handing him a butter knife.
Grilled cheese sandwiches are a quick and easy meal. Before too long, Roman hands the kid a plate with a plain grilled cheese cut in halves and a cup of prepackaged apple sauce.
“Thank you,” Virgil squeaks out before digging in.
“Of course.” Roman says, resisting the urge to ruffle the Little Terror’s hair. Instead he takes a bite of his own grilled cheese. Admittedly, he went a bit overboard with his own grilled cheese sandwich; three different types of cheese with lettuce, tomato and pickles. He isn’t quite sure if he’s a fan of the pickles but ah well. So it goes when in the pursuit of creativity.
They eat on top of the kitchen counters with relative silence. Roman hums a bit between bites of grilled cheese. Halfway through, he notices Virgil sending him glances when he thinks Roman isn’t looking. The kid squirms a bit in place, his face twisting in apprehension.
“Is there something troubling you, Little Prince?” Roman asks at last.
“Princey, where are the others? A--are they okay?!”
Oh. Oh, of course. Roman’s heart aches knowing how much Virgil worries and cares for everyone, even at such a young age. He’s so quick to reassure him that he doesn’t even pause to think about the phrasing of his words.
“They’re perfectly fine, rest assured. Logan is shut away in his room reading like the insufferable nerd he is and Patton is simply checking up on our dear Thomas--”
“Thomas?” Virgil breathes in, eyes bright with alarm. His shoulders raise to his ears like hackles raising on a frightened cat.
It is at this moment Roman knew that he messed up.
“Virgil, wait--” Roman pleads, attempting to place a placating hand on his shoulder.
Roman is too late. His hand meets air as Virgil disappears in front of him with a loud crackle. All that’s left is a plate of half-eaten grilled cheese clattering to the countertops and a terror that shakes the entirety of the mindscape.

The Year 2052
Astra burst through the front door of the house, almost screaming at the top of her lungs, “IT CAME! IT CAME! Dad, it finally came.” Her dad got up from where he was working on the kitchen table. “From the academy?” “YES! We need to call EZ.”
Astra pulled out her laptop, calling EZ on a video call. He answered within a second. “I was just about to call. Did you get yours?” She held the big envelope in view. Felipe and Marisol were standing right beside their son, waiting for him to open up the envelope. “Let’s open them up and then read it at the same time,” EZ said. She could see the terrified look on his face; hers must look the same as well. This was the moment of truth, what both had been working towards for years. Tearing it open and pulling the letter out. “Alright, EZ, on three, and then we read it. Ready?” “1, 2, 3.”
Dear Astra Beckett,
The Celestial Academy would like to congratulate you on your place in our space program.
“WE GOT IN!” EZ and Astra exclaimed at the same time. “I’m so proud of you, sweetheart.” Her dad embraced her hard and tight. A single tear was falling off his face. In the background, it could be heard EZ’s parents congratulating and hugging him as well. “What more does it say?” Felipe asked his son. EZ read the rest of the letter.
We would like to welcome you and your family for a tour of our top-class institution, where you will be getting an introduction to our one of a kind program, our teachers and teaching, our revolutionary technology, the dormitories, and so much more.
We can’t wait to make you a part of our family and spend the next five years with you, making you a one-of-a-kind astronaut.
“We did it, Astra.”
“We did it, Ezekiel.”
Packing a few clothes, some books, space-themed posters and decorations, her telescope her dad got her when she was ten years old and a few other things. She didn’t need a lot with her since this was a new chapter of her life, and she was sure she would buy a lot more stuff in the five years they would be there.
The next day
The next day they were early on their way. The drive to the academy wasn’t a long one. It was just 4 hours from Santo Padre. It was a nice little road trip for all. EZ’s brother Angel tagged along as well, who was also a good friend of Astra, so it was good that Felipe had space for all in his seven-seater car.
The Celestial Academy was like a little city, a city full of nerds and the newest technology in the world. Just getting into the area required special permission, and guards were standing at every campus entrance.
“Holy shit,” Astra and EZ said at the same time as they entered the gates with the car. The buildings stood tall and proud, different holograms showcasing the academy’s various aspects, hovering supply trucks moving from building to building with supplies, and so much more. It was so much to take in, and it would take a long time for them to get used to it all. Felipe parked the car at the visitor’s parking garage.
The walk up to the academy’s main building was short but long at the same time, with the nerves running through both of them. Astra could feel her heart almost jumping out of her chest with how fast it was beating. She grabbed EZ’s hand for comfort. “It’s gonna be fine. We can do this,” he comforted her. She knew she would be able to do this with her best friend by her side. “I know. I’m glad I have you by my side EZ.” He smiled at her, showing that he was grateful that she was here with him as well.
When they entered the building, they were welcomed with a big sign that said “Welcome New Recruits” written on it. They followed the rest of the people into the big speaking room where all the other recruits and their families were seated. The lights dimmed down, and the one and only founder of the academy walked out on stage and started speaking but not before getting a big welcome from everyone.
“Welcome recruits. My name is Damien, founder of this institution, and it is my pleasure to welcome you all here. When I started this program some 30 years ago, I didn’t think that it would turn out to be the best and most desirable space program in the entire world. But in the 30 years we have operated, around 200 individuals have become world-class astronauts with various specialties.” The room burst out in applause. “For the 30 of you that have made it into the program, I congratulate you for the hard work and sacrifice that has made it possible for you to have been accepted. But there is no time for celebrations yet. Not all of you will make it.” The room was dead silent now. “Almost 50% of you will buckle under the immense pressure of the program and leave within the first year. That’s when the real competition begins. Just 6 of you will be picked out for space travel after three years here and start the real training while the rest of you will be guaranteed education and a job at this institution. It’s going to be a hard five years, folks. The rest of the people on this campus, and I wish you good luck.” Damien got sent off with applause and hollering from everyone in the room. “Fuck, that was scary,” EZ whispered to Astra. “We can do this, Ezekiel. I know we can.” Now it was her turn to encourage and comfort him.
There was given some information about what was going to happen throughout the day. Free food, games, and a tour of the facilities was on the plan before eventually, all friends and family needed to leave.
Later in the day
After a fun last day with the family, it was time to say goodbye. Astras' dad tried his best not to cry, but he couldn’t help himself. His little girl was all grown up, and now her real journey would begin. “Dad… don’t cry… it's gonna be fine,” Astra hugged her old man as hard as she could. “I’m just so proud of you, my little star. Your mom would be so proud,” he said as he kissed her forehead. “Stop it, now I’m the one that’s crying.” “Just promise me you'll visit… I’ll be all sad and alone in the big house without you.” She nodded her head at him, “I promise I'll visit as much as I can… I promise, dad.” “Pinky promise?” Holding his pinky out for her to interlock with hers, she gladly did so, “I promise.”
“Come here, Ezekiel. My little astronaut,” Marisol hugged and kissed his cheek repeatedly. EZ loved his mom and the affection she would give him, but now it was kind of embarrassing since there were so many people. “Mom… mom.” “I’m sorry, baby. I’m just so proud of you, and I love you so much.” “I love you too, mom.” He gave her a final hug before he moved on to his dad. “Proud of you, son.” “Thanks, pop.” They gave each other a quick hug.
Last but not least, it was Angel’s turn to say his goodbyes. “Proud of you lil bro, you fucking space nerd.” “Shut up, Angel,” EZ said playfully before giving his big brother a big hug. “Don’t cause any trouble now that I’m not there.” Angel held his hands up in defence, “Hey, can’t promise anything.” EZ just shook his head at him.
Saying the last goodbyes to each other, and then they left, leaving Astra and EZ to watch them walk away. When they were out of sight, he turned towards her and grabbed her hand, “come on, let’s get settled into the dormitory.”
Astra walked into her assigned room and was greeted by the girl she was going to live with. She had already set up most of the stuff on her side of the room. The room was huge and spacious, and it even had a private bathroom. “Hi, I’m Mia, nice to meet you,” she reached out her hand, which Astra gladly accepted, “I’m Astra, it’s nice to meet you, Mia.” “I hope you don’t mind that I took the left side of the room.” “Go ahead, no problem.” They talked and got to know each other as they packed out their things and put them in place. Astra liked Mia a lot, they had a lot in common, and she knew that they would be great friends. “I can’t believe we are here; it’s so surreal,” Mia said as they got done packing out and sat on their beds. “I know, right! I’m afraid that I’ll wake up tomorrow, and it was all a dream,” Astra answered.
Before bed, all the recruits meet up with the teachers to get their plan for the next few upcoming weeks and the whole five-year plan as a whole. EZ was already buddies with his roommate, Mateo, and all 4 of them clicked immediately, already forming a good group and friendship of their own.
Later in the evening
Astra was trying her hardest to fall asleep; it was a big day tomorrow, the first official day ever, but her mind was racing like crazy, and she couldn’t get it to quiet down. She decided to get up and go out to the common room to take her mind off it for a while, sitting down by the window that overlooked the futuristic town. After a few minutes, footsteps could be heard, and she turned around to see who it was. Her frown turned into a smile when she saw him coming towards her.
“Couldn’t sleep?” EZ asked as he sat down beside her. She shook her head no, “my mind won’t shut up.” “Yeah, me neither.” They sat in silence for a few moments before EZ spoke up. “In 5 years, we will be up there,” he pointed towards the sky. “You don’t know that Ezekiel… there are 30 of us, and only 6 make it.” “I know we'll make it. We have each other, Astra, and you are the smartest girl I know. Even if I don’t make it, you will.” “You know I will never go if you aren’t going either.” “I know… but I will force you to go. Even if I have to push you in the spaceship myself.” Astra looked down on the floor, getting shy for a moment, “I know you will, Zeke.”
She started biting her nails, a habit she did when she felt nervous, and EZ knew that, he knew everything about her. “Hey, stop that,” EZ took her hand in his, “it's gonna be fine.” “It’s gonna be fine,” she repeated in a whisper.
They sat like that for a little while longer. Just holding each other’s hand and looking up towards the sky, getting prepared for the next five years of their life.

Humans are Space Orcs, “The verdict.”
Was writing very quick today, so forgive the typos, and I hope you like it
The detective woke to a familiar face only a few feet away from his. He was being shaken back and forth and with every shake his head pounded. Despite being able to see it took  him more than a few minutes to finally understand what was even going on.
“Detective, detective! Wake up, there we go, that’s it. You hit your head pretty hard.”
When his vision finally focused down and he took the time to recognize the face in front of him, he yelped in sudden surprise and tried to leap to his feet. However, his legs had other ideas, and he sagged hard towards the ground, his head pounding and nauseous.
Admiral Vir laid a hand on his shoulder, “Woah there hotshot take it easy. Gonna need you to stay still so I can take care of this.”
He groaned and tried to swat the other man away, “You-!
“Didn’t do this.” HE said, grabbing the Detective by the wrist and holding it tight as he used his left hand, and a damp cloth to wipe blood from his head, “Think back a little and maybe you’ll remember.”
Confused by the man helping him, and his own throbbing head, he did his best to think back.
He remembered being outside the cells watching the cameras. He remembered dozing off in his seat a little.
And then it came to him.
He remembered being violently dragged off his chair and into the dark bak room, a hand over his mouth only to be set upon by the three escaped human prisoners. Things were so silent and so quick that it was hard to rationalize what happened. His eyes, still trying to focus, looked around the room and the wide open floor which constituted some kind of bar or club, with chairs and tables and seats, and a dance floor. However, everything was deserted as of now, and he was sitting back against one of the couches, his legs sticking out straight before him.
Admiral Vir leaned forward a bit, eyes narrowed in concentration as he parted the matted hair on top of the detective’s scalp. The expression the detective had come to know, one of indignant, childish petulance, was gone, and in its place was a serious expression of worry and concern that made the man look nearly twenty years older than he was.
This was the man he had expected when he heard admiral, not the sass mouthing over talkative prisoner he had been trying to interrogate for the past day or two. Admiral Vir sat back on his heels, his expression serious still, but less worried now, “So, you got yourself whacked pretty hard. Luckily for you the bleeding stopped and the cut isn’t too deep. Normally I would suggest finding a doctor to make sure you haven't badly concussed yourself, but considering the circumstances, we don’t really have that option.
We? He thought with some incredulity repeating the phrase before he knew what he was saying, “We…. What do you mean by we. I am the detective and YOU are the suspect.”
A little bit of the sarcastic childishness returned as the Admiral rolled his eyes to the heavens, “You are a pretty shit detective if you haven’t figured out by now that I am on your side.” Admiral Vir sat back on his heels, his one green eye staring the detective in the face, surprisingly devoid of any sort of malice.
“I’m going to be honest with you about exactly what happened, no sarcasm this time, no jokes. I was called into this planet as a consult to a murder.” he held up a hand as the detective went to protest, “Yes, I know, I am no detective, but I was asked by the GA, so I went. When we got there we found a dismembered Tesraki body in the back of his shop, based on the tourist area and and violence of the crime, I determined that humans had done it. WHen I saw the missing limbs I immediately assumed this was some sick plot about trying to find exotic meat or something, but it turns out I was wrong on that front.”
The admiral Stood and went over to toss the damp rag into a trashcan before returning, “I returned to our hotel room later that night with Krill and Sunny and sat down to compile a list of possible names. I found about twenty, but by the time I was done, it was already too late at night to do anything. I tried to sleep, but none came, so I left to go on a walk. Naturally my preoccupied mind let me towards the part of the city where those twenty names were registered.
It was only by luck that I ran into that alley at all. I couldn’t let the Tesraki die, so I stupidly jumped in and nearly got my throat cut once or twice. I did knock two of them out and break the sternum of the other one.” He patted the leg which the detective happened to know was mechanical, “I always forget how strong this piece of hardware is, but anyway, I called the authorities and the men were carted away. The Tesraki was fine when he left. I remember wrapping my jacket around him and carrying him out to wait for emergency vehicles. That was the last time I saw him. WHen we returned to the precinct the day after, was when you showed up and arrested me.”
The detective sat, his head reeling slowly in confusion and suspicion, “But I saw the security tapes. That’s not what happened.”
“Can you guarantee those security tapes werent doctored. Were you the first person to have your hands on them?”
He paused and then shook his head, “Well, no.”
“And do you admit it is kind of weird for me to be arrested the day after the three men in the alley?” “I mean a little.”
“And based on all the research you have done on me, isn’t this a bit out of character.”
The detective paused unwilling to admit that he had been having some doubts. Sure he had been given a preliminary report of the Admiral’s criminal history, but when he got a better look at it, most of his actions had been justified. In the Drev war, he had been a member of operation Steel eye, a drugged young man being taken advantage of by a system. During the first contact incident, his excitement had led to the discovery of aliens, though the bran had misinterpreted his enthusiasm as hunting. His return to the Drev home planet had involved him spending time to learn their language and about their culture. And his murder of the burg that had inevitably caused the war was an act in self defence, and he couldnt have known that spitting on the creature was going to kill it.
He sighed deeply, “Alright, you have a point…. But I still think your an annoying asshole.”
The man smiled, “I get that a lot.”
“Anyway point of the story is, I woke up to something last night and the cell was open. I think they were trying to frame me for your murder, but the Tesrak idetective came into help at the alst second, and told me to get out as soon as I can.”
He supposed that made sense, and fit into his experience, “And what do you plan to do now? How are you going to get out of this. IF this is really a plot to frame you, and the department is involved, we can assume it comes from high up, with someone powerful enough to at least consider themselves above the law.”
The Admiral paused, tapping his fingers against his knee, “Did you come here in your own ship?”
*** “You must find the admiral and the detective. Leave admiral Vir alive, but make sure the detective dies. In the meantime, I will take this evidence and present it to the GA council, they are unlikely to disbelieve video evidence of the crime.”
The Kree sighed, but nodded, “It will be done.
At that announcement Sunny suddenly grabbed krill by his shoulder and hauled him back into the darkness just in time for the Kree to step out of the office followed by the Tesraki senator.
WIth one hand over Krill’s mouth, Sunny pulled the two of them behind a very large potted plant, watching as the two made their way down the hall.
They had just disappeared around the corner, when Krill turned to look at Sunny, “Why didn’t we jump them?”
Sunny turned to frown at him, “Because what were we going to do, threaten to eat him? Besides, no one would believe us, at least not here. I have a better idea.” “A better idea?”
“Just trust me”
***
Admiral Vir pulled his jacket up against the rain as they came to the launch field. It wasn’t that far away from the department, so they had to keep a low profile, which was hard as two humans, though the cover of rain helped some. The Detetive checked around the landing strip and then motioned the admiral to follow him quickly. Adam did as told and hurried after him, until they came upon  a little black/silver ship at the back of the lot.
Adam raised an eyebrow, “A rundi short cruiser, how did you manage to score one of these babies.” he ran his hand along her smooth aerodynamic hull.
“A what? Oh this thing.” He shrugged, “It was given to me for this mission.”
Adam frowned, “This thing? You mean this work of art.
The man just stared at it, ‘It’s a spaceship.”
“It is a shuttle that can warp! And you are calling it just a spaceship. It’s one of only ten ships in existence like this. The Detective shrugged unimpressed, and Adam sighed long and loud, “You have no appreciation for the finer things in life. I bet you don’t even know how to drive it.”
“Its autopilot, why would I want to drive it?”
Adam put his head in his hands, “You’re going to make me cry.”
The door to the little ship hissed open, and the two of them climbed inside. The interior was almost as sleek as the outside, and Adam couldn’t help but run his hands over the console and controls as he went to take a seat in the copilot chair as the other man sat down and began slowly flipping up pre programmed controls.
Adam sighed as the detective flipped through the instruction manual.
“Do you want to drive/” The other man snapped
“I thought you’d never ask.” Adam retired, reaching out a hand for the controls.
Just then the two of them were blinded as a bright spotlight beamed down upon them.
“Admiral Vir, step away from the controls and come out with your hands up.”
“Shit!”
The detective was just reaching out to power down the shuttle, when Adam reached forward, and flicked up the last few switches with lightning speed, turning over the engine and grabbing the controls.
“What the hell are you doing!” The detective yelled “You can’t fly this thing manual, it's too fas-”
He punched the throttle, and they rocketed into the air, doing a tight barrel roll to the left narrowly avoiding the emergency shuttle and equipped high beams. The detective screamed, and then choked off as the G force slammed him back into his seat.
Adam caught their spin and leveled out, coming face to face with another three cruisers. Pulling back on the joystick with his left hand, they shot up vertically before he took them into a spinning vertical dive that had them cutting past the two shuttles, now spinning in confusion.
The Detective screamed again as they pulled out of the dive and back into a vertical climb. On the rear cameras, he could see the three shuttles meandering around in confusion, and thought they were out of the woods for a moment before another set of beams fell on them, and a sleek black ship, of a make he could not identify, fell in behind them.
He punched it harder, pulling into a tight backward loop. WIthout his flight suit the G forces behaved brutally causing his vision to blacken at the edges, but by tensing his belly and chest, he continued to force blood into his head. Off to the side, the G force had been to much for the Detective who was hit with a sudden bout of G-lock and passed out, flopping against his harness like a fish.
He pulled out of the dive just behind the pursuing shuttle, and then quickly cut up and left, pushing the ship to the extremes of it’s speed. As they rose higher into the atmosphere there was an automatic cachunk as the atmospheric engine moved over to the compressed warp/funsio nengine.
The detective flopped around like a dead fish for a few more seconds before his head slowly rolled back upright. He looked horribly green.
“IF you throw up I swear to the Leviathan, I am going to kill you.”
Behind him the little black ship was maintaining a distant pursuit with some difficulty.
Once out of the atmosphere and heading into high orbit, Adam reached down and engaged the warp.
The detective reached out a hand, “Wait!”
But it was too late, the universe around them began to spiral, folding over on itself and reflecting back the space like a mirror. The feeling was terrible like being folded in half or pulled apart as everything far away appeared close and everything close appeared far away.
Admiral Vir felt himself getting ready to pass out against the full power of an undampened warp his brain unable to fathom what he was seeing as space around them was compressed.
They came out with a sudden jolt that threw them against their seats jerking them forward and then back with a sudden halt.
The Detective groaned piteously where he was passed out in his seat Ad had barely retained consciousness, but shook it off as he reached out to grab the controls.
A soft dripping noise had him turning his head to the side, upon which time he grinned rather smugly and turned his head back to the front where the rundi planet, Irus, glowed like a blue and orange marble against the sky. The Detective didn’t wake up for a good few minutes, but when he did, he was soon followed by cruising and a face reddened by embarrassment, “Your first undampened  short warp I take it?” Adam said grinning.
HTe man didn’t answer.
Still grinning, adam laughed, “Don’t worry, it happened to the best of us at one point. Most people aren't able to keep their bladder in check during thief first warp.”
“You’re an asshole, you know that.”
“Well aware, but at least this asshole isn’t sitting in a puddle of his own urine.” His merriment was shut up a few second later as their shuttle jerked violently forward, “Shit!” He yelled, forcing the ship back onto it’s trajectory. He took a look at the back camera to see that, somehow, the other ship was still following them.
“Hold on to your hat!” He yelled, punching the throttle and rocketing them towards the blue surface of the planet.
THe Detective screamed again as they roared into the atmosphere at incredible speeds, fire licking up at the sides as atmospheric friction caught up with them. Adam knew what he was doing, he knew just how much power it would take to burnt through the hull or rip off her wings. Knowing his opponent had a less advanced ship, he hoped that they would either, overestimate their abilities or pull back.
And he was right, they did for a while, though not in time as a contingent of Rundi defence ships shot up after them demanding identification over the radio. He was too busy flying to respond, and the Detective could barely function as a human being. The other ship was swarmed, but Adam managed to pull them down into a tight inverted roll backwards and vertical before pulling up and rolling to the side.
The manuver was more than the rundi ships could handle and they lost him as they roared towards the planet.
The city was closer now, close enough that he could see the spires of the GA council chamber.
He soared over the launch filed.
“What are you doing!” The detective yelled
“We don’t have time!” Adam snarled pulling back on the joystick and reversing the thrusters to come to a halt right over the open GA courtyard, WIth steady hands he lowered himself into the open plane as delegates divided out of the way. Guards ran from the outer edge and inward surrounding his ship.
He turned and threw open the doors running out into a wall of heat that battered against him without mercy. The guards froze in confusion as they saw him, and he took the moment to push past.
Behind him the detective staggered out onto the marble barely able to walk, moving about like he was drunk.
WIth a steady stride, adam made his way towards the council chamber.
***
“And as the presented evidence shows, Admiral Vir is a murderer.” The Tesraki delegate announced shocked whispers rising up around him as they stared as the video footage, “In light of these events, I move to-”
At the end of the hall, a door onto the floor slammed open, and everyone turned in shock just in time to see a vrul and a Drev step onto the floor. The Drev was just about to open her mouth to speak when another door slammed open.
The entire delegation moved to their feet with shouts of shock and surprise as Admiral Vir stepped onto the floor, “I OBJECT!.” he paused frowning, “Wait, that’s for weddings isn’t it.”
The chairwoman stood, “Admiral Vir, What do you have to say for yourself.”
Before he could say anything Sunny cut in, “He’s being framed!”
The Tesraki counselor rose to his feet, “Lies, do you have proof?”
“Uh, well no.”
“YES!”
Adam turned to sunny, shook himself and turned back to the delegation, “Er YES!” he turned his head to look at Sunny, “We do/”
She stepped forward, “I have evidence that admiral Vir was being framed, framed by.” She turned and jabbed a finger at the Tesraki, “YOU.” He stepped back in shock, and a muttering rose up around them.
“How dare you.”
Sunny marched forward and past the guards, reaching up to hand something to the chairwoman, who took it and passed it to an assistant, who hurried over to insert the chip into their system.
A voice rose over the speakers, “Get out there, FIND HIM and make sure he doesn’t ruin this for me. If this all works out, by the end of the month I will be chairman of the GA, and the humans will simply be an afterthought.” said the Tesraki delegates voice.
Hundreds of eyes turned to look at him in open shock.
He stepped back hand raised, “I have no idea where this came from.
THe second Tesraki delegate stood a look of absolute rage on her face, “How could you!” she snapped, “How could you betray us like this.”
He stammered, “But he, he escaped prison, he killed the detective!”
Just then, the doors at the end of the room opened up and the Detective came waddling into the room looking miserable and nauseous, but very much alive. Following him Came the Tesraki detective, hauling an unconscious Kree in his wake, who he dumped on the floor as soon as he made it to the center.
The Tesraki was looking a little more worse for ware, his ear torn, green blood staining his fur
He raised a hand and pointed a finger at the delegate, “The Admiral is telling the truth, he was framed, and THIS TESRAKI threatened my department to do it. I was scared at first as my family is in grave peril but I couldn't stand by and watch a good man be framed for selfish reasons.” He turned to the delegation, “He is angry that the humans have taken so much Tesraki economic power, despite the fact that.” he turned an accusatory eye on the Tesraki, “The average citizen has never been so well off. Because of human tourism, we are thriving. The only one’s different are the corporations, and now this Tesraki would have it so we go back to the old days when the average citizen was poor and the elite ruled.”
Sunny nodded, “There is more to that recording. We tracked it by following the a spy who was charged with making tampered video footage to incriminate Admiral Vir. You know him, you know him as a human who has always worked for the betterment of the GA. There is no chance that he could have done anything lie what they are saying.
There was a pause in the crowd for a moment, and then Lord Celzex stood, “IT is as I said, Admiral Vir would never do such a crime, and we have no reason to believe he would start now.”
The Tesraki delegate snarled, though was almost immediately cold cocked in the face by the other Tesraki delegate as guards moved in from the sides of the room to detain the Tesraki and the Kree.
In the chaos Admiral Vir and Sunny were pushed to the side, pinned into a small corner.
She looked down at him, and he looked up at her.
“Thanks for having my back.”
She smiled, “no problem, I’ve decided I want to keep your around for a while.”
He grinned, “I hope you do.” He stretched up on the balls of his feet and she leaned down, their foreheads pressed against one another for a quick moment before disengaging and beng swept away on the tide of questions and confusion.
