summary: you and lily have been polar opposites from birth, disconnected in everything. but when the one thing she has crosses the bounds, you can't avoid it even if it destroys you.
warnings: eventual smut! 18+ heavy angst, cursing , jealousy
a/n: so this is the winter special, yay! this chapter is kind of a teaser/chapter 1 but the next chapters will be longer and more angsty with james and y/n.
i hope you enjoy and as always, i apologize if you hate this!
chapter 1
You Loved Lily.
It wasn’t a strange or unusual thing to say—it was simply the truth.
Most people would have expected the two of you to hate each other. To be cold, distant, maybe even hostile. After all, she was Gryffindor, and you were Slytherin. In their eyes, that was all that mattered.
But you never saw it that way.
Lily was your sister—maybe not by blood, but in every way that counted, you knew she was. You’d been adopted into the Evans family at five, after the tragic death of your parents in a horrific house fire. Most believed it was because they had refused to bow to the Dark Lord's ideals, but no one could prove it.
Before that, your parents had distanced themselves from magic, moving next door to the Evans family, where they quickly became as close as family. And when they died, arrangements had been made for you to be adopted by the Evans family, should anything ever happen to them.
This had been because all your blood relatives believed in the same blood supremacy and Dark Lord bullshit your parents had fought against.
And you were glad to have been embraced by the entire family, maybe not including Petunia.
It was only a small blessing that you and Lily both received your Hogwarts letters in the same year. You’d felt for Petunia—who had never been particularly warm toward you—but Lily had always welcomed you with open arms. From that moment on, the two of you were inseparable.
The train ride to Hogwarts had been full of excitement—laughing over exploding bonbons, discussing what the Sorting Hat might decide for you. It was supposed to be the start of something unforgettable.
But then the Sorting Hat made its decision for you both.
Lily was placed in Gryffindor.
And you, despite everything you’d hoped and fought for, were sorted into Slytherin.
The moment the Hat’s decision was final, it was like a wedge had driven itself between you and Lily. It felt as though the very essence of who you were had been split down the middle: she was good, pure, and noble—Gryffindor. And you? You were suddenly cast as the enemy, the ‘dark’ side.
It was devastating.
At first, you tried to stay close to Lily. You would try to hang out with her at breakfast, walking with her on her way to classes. But it didn’t take long before everything started to unravel.
The argument that broke you both came in third year, right after the winter holidays.
“Lily, I would never have let Snape call you that!”
You were furious, your arms crossed tightly over your chest as you faced her, desperate for her to see the truth.
How could she not see it?
But Lily’s eyes were filled with hurt, the same hurt she’d worn for weeks.
“You’re friends with his kind,” She spat, her voice breaking as she said it, the words full of disappointment. Marlene, Mary, and James stood close by, eyes narrowed, almost as though they were guarding her from you.
You felt a surge of anger. "I came here to comfort you, and none of my friends believe in that bullshit! You’re being irrational!" The words slipped out before you could stop them.
James stepped forward, his eyes burning with contempt. “I think you should leave. Snakes aren’t appreciated here,” He said, his voice dripping with venom.
It stung. More than the insult itself, it hurt that James was speaking for Lily.
You scoffed, looking at her one last time before turning your gaze back to him. “I think this is between me and my sister, not her fanboy,” You snapped, trying to hold back the trembling in your voice. Then, more softly, you added, “I would never let anyone call you that, and you know it. I would’ve stopped him. Why are you acting like you don’t know who I am?”
There was silence. You waited, your heart in your throat, hoping for some kind of response. A softening of the tension. But nothing came.
Lily didn’t mutter a word.
Instead, she looked down, her face hidden in her lap, tears streaming down her cheeks.
“Fine,” you said, your voice cracking under the weight of it all. “I don’t need this.” You turned sharply, your heart heavy as you strode away from her.
It was never the same after that.
Lily had tried to fix things. She reached out time and time again, but you couldn't find it in yourself to forgive her. Yeah, you were kids but she didn't believe you, and in a way, that hurt in a way you couldn't explain.
As time went on, you found comfort in the only people who understood your world: Pandora, Regulus, Evan, and Barty. They didn’t judge you. They accepted you, as you were, and that was enough.
You missed having a sister, but you couldn’t help but think how different things were now. Now that you were in your seventh year and she was a Prefect, getting top marks, it hadn’t been a good time.
And now, seeing her laughing with the Marauders or walking through the halls with her Gryffindor friends, the gap between you both seemed impossible to bridge. She had changed. You had changed. And even though she gave you shy smiles in the halls or a wave, it hadn't been enough to fix everything.
And that’s why a part of you dreaded winter break.
You loved going home, but you and Lily always had to pretend everything was fine, that you were still inseparable, so your parents wouldn’t think you had drifted apart.
It was hard enough to answer their questions about each other when you weren’t even in each other’s lives anymore.
Your plan had been simple: retreat to your room, listen to the new ABBA album, and enjoy some much-needed peace. That was until Lily approached you in the library.
"Hey Y/N!" Lily greeted, her voice chipper yet low, as she bounded toward your table. You looked up from your book, offering her an awkward smile.
"Hello, Lily," you replied flatly, trying not to show how much her presence was already stirring your emotions.
"Um," she started, fiddling nervously with her fingers. "I just wanted to ask you something."
You raised an eyebrow, curious but guarded. "And that is?"
"Okay, so, you know how we always go to Niagara Falls for winter break, to the lodge?" She paused, waiting for you to nod. "Well, I was kinda hoping you'd come with me to James's cabin instead. Mum and Dad said I can only go if you go, and it would mean the world to me. I really think it would be fun—"
She rambled on, tripping over her words, but you were too stunned to respond at first.
You blinked at her, feeling like a deer in headlights. Deep down, you didn’t want to disappoint her, but.
"No offense," you began, keeping your tone as flat as possible, "But I think I’d rather die."
Lily’s face fell, and she looked at you with pleading eyes. "Y/N, please! It’s the one thing I’m asking of you, and I think it would be good for us."
You scoffed, looking back at your book as she moved to sit across from you. "With all due respect, Lily, your friends are not my type of crowd."
"They aren’t all that bad," she insisted, clearly trying to convince you.
You snorted. "Oh, and that’s why they decided to dump yellow paint on all the first years last spring?"
"That’s the Marauders, and they’re only, like, 60 percent of my friends. I really only like Remus and Peter," she argued, her frustration and humor mixing together.
You couldn’t help but laugh lightly at her defense. "Sorry, Lily. It’s gonna be a no."
You grabbed your book, standing up to leave.
But Lily stood in your way. "I’ll do anything! Your chores, your Potions homework—anything!"
You smiled in spite of yourself and tried to move around her. "Please, I just want to get to dinner."
"Please!" she begged, giving you her best puppy-dog eyes.
You rolled your eyes. "Okay, fine."
"Really?" she asked, her face lighting up in excitement.
"No," you grinned mischievously, moving past her and out of the library.
She groaned, clearly defeated. "You’re impossible."
A part of you wanted to help her, but you didn’t want to be stuck with the Marauders and her other friends for two weeks. It would be too long, and you’d be the outcast. The thought alone made you shudder.
But you were glad Lily was kind enough to accept your answer—at least, you thought she did.
--
You were sitting on a bench near the Black Lake with Pandora when the first nuisance of the day arrived.
"Hey, Y/N!" You turned to see Sirius Black striding toward you with that all-too-familiar charm and golden smile.
Pandora’s eyes nearly popped out of her head. "Is Sirius Black seriously coming over to you?"She asked, her words half-mushed with the cookie she was eating.
"That was a really odd phrasing for a question," You said, raising an eyebrow.
By the time you turned back to face him, Sirius was right in front of you, out of breath from his slight run.
"Wow, with that much stamina, Quidditch must be a useless sport," You joked as Pandora giggled.
"Nice one, madame," Sirius said, slipping onto the bench beside you without invitation, and you groaned in annoyance.
"What do you want?" You asked, trying to gently push him away.
"Well, a little birdie told me you said no to coming to James’s winter cabin," He said, grinning.
"If Lily thinks sending you is going to make me change my mind, she’s got another thing coming. I mean, I might’ve gone with Remus," You added sarcastically, watching as Sirius pretended to be wounded.
"That actually kind of hurts," He pouted, and you almost considered hexing him for real.
"Well, tell her you failed. I’m leaving this conversation," You said, standing up and moving toward the Great Hall, Pandora following quickly behind.
"But it will be fun!" He yelled.
"God, he’s truly insufferable," You muttered.
Pandora chewed thoughtfully. "His efforts are cute," She said as you glared at her, before adding, "But pointless and insufferable. I agree."
You laughed. "That’s certainly enough Marauder for one day."
And you thought that was the end of it.
--
You were packing up your things in Potions when another Marauder approached you, much to your dismay.
Before Remus could speak, you cut him off. "So, Sirius actually took me seriously when I said sending you could work?" You asked, raising an eyebrow.
"That’s seriously Sirius for you," Remus said, trying to joke. You raised an eyebrow, glancing at Barty and Evan, who were stifling laughs.
Clearing his throat, Remus tried again. "You know, we don’t bite."
"What if I do?" You retorted, as Barty and Evan snickered.
"Then perhaps you could be something new for us. We’d love to have you," He said with a serious tone, though you weren’t convinced.
"I'm sure you would, Remus, but I can’t say the same for Golden Boy himself," You muttered, grabbing the last of your books and shoving them into your bag.
"James holds no malicious intent toward you," Remus said earnestly. "He promised Lily he wouldn’t."
"That’s great, but I hold malicious intent toward him," You snapped, walking away from Remus as you left Barty and Evan to their conversation.
And, as if that wasn’t enough, they sent in the Lion.
You were lying on the common room couch with Regulus when you heard the door creak open, and there he was—James Potter.
Regulus blinked at him in surprise. You groaned. "How did you even get in here?" You asked, already annoyed.
"It was actually quite easy. You Slytherins are predictable," he said, clearly trying to insult you, though you didn’t care enough to react.
"Well, I’m glad, but if you think you can convince me to go, you’re bloody mistaken," You retorted.
He stood in front of you, towering over you as you sat up and fixed him with a dangerous glare. "Come on, Y/N. You know me!" He tried the nice-guy approach.
"I know you?" You asked angrily, "I certainly don’t know you and don’t want to," You shot back, stubbornly.
He huffed. "Then why don’t you do it for Lily?" He asked, arms crossed.
You stood to face him, matching his height with a glare of your own. "Because none of you actually want me there, and I refuse to go somewhere I’m not wanted or where I don't want to go," You stated firmly.
"Well, maybe we can get to know you. Maybe you don’t have a stick up your arse after all," He replied, sounding more teasing than serious.
"The only stick in my arse is you trying to wedge yourself into me and Lily’s relationship for the billionth time," You shot back, your patience wearing thin.
"I think if you actually cared about fixing your relationship with her, you’d come and enjoy this with her," He said, his words hitting a little too close to home. "But hey, it’s up to you. Just know, she’d do the same for you," He added, walking out of the room.
You stood there, staring at the door, trying to process his words. You didn’t want to be selfish, but you didn’t want to spend two weeks with people who didn’t care for you, either.
Regulus broke the silence. "So, I guess you’re going to the cabin tomorrow," He muttered, glancing up from his magazine.
You groaned, flopping back onto the couch.
"I guess I am."

'A Fresh Start 𓏲*ੈ✩‧₊˚🎐[part iv]
She's weird, she's creepy, she's a total stalker, and now she's... loitering outside your door...? [part iii]
Tumblr media
You paced your living room, arms crossed tightly over your chest, teeth chewing the inside of your cheek. You felt like an idiot.
What were you thinking showing up to her house uninvited, banging on her door and shouting her name like a lunatic? No matter how hard you tried, you couldn't help but feel that showing up like you did had been a mistake.
The look in her eye when she opened the door haunted you. It wasn’t anger, not really. It was something else entirely. Fear? Guilt? Whatever it was, you hated that look on her.
You stopped pacing for a moment, your arms falling to your sides as you let out a heavy sigh. What was the point of trying to fix things now? You’d probably just scared her away for good. Why did you always have to push things? You should’ve just left her alone, I mean clearly she didn’t want to be friends.
But then you couldn’t help but wonder: why the hell had she been following you then??
You groaned and flopped onto your couch as your mind raced. It didn’t make any sense. If she didn’t want anything to do with you, why had she gone out of her way to be near you? Why had she constantly stared at you from afar as if she wanted to say something?
None of it added up, and the more you thought about it, the more frustrated you felt. Maybe you were overthinking it. Maybe she wasn’t following you at all, and you’d just misread the whole situation. But… no. The way she’d looked at you when you confronted her, it was written all over her face. She’d been following you. You were sure of it.
“Ugh.” you groaned, dragging your hands over your face. This was hopeless.
Every time you thought you had a grasp on her, she’d do something to throw you off completely. She was impossible to read, like a puzzle missing half its pieces, or a windup monkey without its gears. And as much as you wanted to forget about it, about her, you couldn’t.
Because deep down, you cared. You hated seeing her so… isolated, so withdrawn. And even if she didn’t want to be friends, even if you’d scared her away, you couldn’t help but feel like she didn’t deserve this.
Pushing yourself off the couch, you started pacing again. You wanted to fix this, to figure out some way to show her that you weren’t just trying to bother her. But how? After the way she’d turned you away, what was the point?
Part of you wanted to march back to her house and try again. But the other part screamed at you to stay put, to not make things worse, to wait until she was ready.
But god did you want to see her.
You huffed again. You felt like a stupid teenage girl kicking her feet and hitting her pillows while whining about her latest highschool crush. You wanted to see her, you wanted to see her so bad it was driving you crazy. It was irrational really. She was a total freak. New in town, avoidant, creepy, and frankly, a little bit of a bitch. All negative traits associated with someone you shouldn’t be seeing. So why did you want to so badly? All your alarm bells were going off but it was hard to tell if they were yelling or singing.
Either way, you decided that this time you wouldn’t be impulsive. You’d choose logic over feeling, because obviously that’s what any other responsible adult would do… obviously. Logic over feeling. Rationality over impulse. It sounded easy in theory, but as you sat there, staring at the blank wall across the room, it felt impossible.
What if she thought you hated her? What if she thought you didn’t care? Or worse, what if she thought you pitied her?
She’d probably slam the door in your face again if she thought for a second you were pitying her. You knew nothing about her yet you couldn’t help but feel like she would be the type.
You groaned, flopping back onto the couch. "This is ridiculous," you muttered to yourself. "I'm ridiculous."
You stayed still for what felt like hours, the only sound you could hear being the faint ticking of the clock. You couldn’t sit here forever, pacing between guilt and worry. But you’d already decided: no more impulsive decisions.
So why were you halfway to the door before you even realized it?
Your hand froze on the doorknob. You couldn’t go over there again. What happened to all that logic over feeling talk? Before you could scold yourself and retreat back to the couch, a sound from the other side of the door made you pause.
A shuffle. A creak. The distinct sound of someone sighing.
Your heart skipped a beat, and for a moment, you wondered if you were hearing things. After a short pause you decided that it wouldn’t hurt to just check, for your own peace of mind if not anything.
Turning the doorknob to quickly open the door, the sight made your breath hitch.
Powder was crouching on your doorstep, looking up at you like a deer in headlights. Her eyes were wide, her hair messy, and she looked just as nervous as you felt.
“You!” You shrieked.
She opened her mouth to say something, but nothing came out.
"What... the hell are you doing here?" you managed to ask after a long pause, your voice softer this time so as to not freak her out.
She shot to her feet so fast she almost lost balance, quickly tucking something into her pocket. Her eyes darted to the ground as she fidgeted with her fingers. “I don’t- I wasn’t-”
“You weren’t what? Just crouching on my porch for fun?”
She looked back up at you with a sour expression, her cheeks flushing a bright pink. “I didn’t think you’d open the door!” she blurted out defensively.
“It’s my house!” you said, exasperated.
“I know that!” she snapped back, louder than she intended. Her eyes widened, and her voice softened almost immediately. “I just... I wasn’t ready.”
“For what?” you asked, but she didn’t answer.
The air was heavy and the atmosphere was thick as you waited for her to respond. Her lips parted again as if to say something, but instead, she shook her head and spun on her heel, dropping onto the top porch step with a huff.
You took a minute to look at her. Just a couple minutes ago you were telling yourself to stay away from her, and although you agreed, you couldn’t help but feel grateful for her visit. It felt right, y’know, her being around.
Staring at the back of her messily cut hair, you wondered why she’d dropped by in the first place. Two days ago she was shooing you away like a fly, but now, for whatever reason, she came to you this time. You wondered what changed.
You sighed as you followed her, sitting down a few feet away. Neither of you said anything at first, the silence filled only by the far away sounds of the townsfolk heading home as the sun set.
Finally, you spoke first, your voice quieter this time. “You know, you don't make much sense.”
She didn’t look at you, her eyes fixed on the sidewalk below.
“I know.” she muttered.
“Then help me out.” you said, trying to keep the frustration out of your voice. “What’s going on here?”
“I... I don’t know.” she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.
You turned to look at her, noticing the way her fists tightened. For someone so closed off, she looked more lost than anything else.
You felt a pang of guilt, and although you knew she'd never stand for being pitied, you couldn't help but feel bad.
“Well...” you said after a moment, leaning back slightly, “whatever it is, there’s no rush.”
She glanced at you out of the corner of her eye, her lips pressing into a thin line. She didn’t say anything, but the fact that she didn’t immediately run away felt like progress.
‘There's no rush’ the phrase replayed in her head for the millionth time. It was just like you to say something like that wasn’t it? Sweet, patient, so sure of yourself. Meanwhile, she felt like her insides were about to explode.
She hated how much she cared about your words, how they lingered in the back of her mind, how they actually managed to reassure her.
“You’re being too nice to me.” she said finally.
“How so?” You asked, keeping your tone light.
She shook her head. “You just are.”
You groaned dramatically. “You’re so confusing.”
She laughed dryly in response.
After a short pause you leaned forward, resting your elbows on your knees.
“I like being nice to you.” you said simply.
She froze. For a moment, neither of you said anything.
“I don’t know how to deal with that.” she admitted finally, her voice small.
“Then don’t” you replied. “Not right now at least.”
Powder looked away, blinking rapidly. She stood abruptly. “I have to go.”
You stood too, subconsciously copying her. “Powder, wait–”
She turned to face you, looking at you fully for the first time since you two sat down, before quickly cutting you off. “Here, this was for you.”
She extended her fist towards you before opening it to reveal a crushed and wilted flower.
You hesitated before accepting it, it was a cute offer but you were more confused than anything. You stared at it for a second before the sound of her boots rushing down the steps caught you off guard.
“H-Hold on!” you called out.
She stopped in her tracks, turning her head slightly to look at you through her peripherals.
“Are you… free tomorrow?”

Jealousy, Regret, Reconciliation
Tumblr media
Pairing: Regina Mills x fem!reader
Warnings: none?
Word Count: 2k
Summary: In the midst of a lively evening at Granny’s Diner, Regina Mills becomes increasingly agitated by a misinterpreted situation between her secret lover (you) and Ruby, sparking a heated argument. The night brings a storm of emotions, keeping both you and Regina awake, haunted by the recent conflict.
A/N: Heyy, this is my first ever fanfiction and I honestly don’t know how to feel about it. I just wanted to try writing a jealousy fic of Regina because… why not? Also I’m not sure how to tag this because, again, I’m very new to writing fanfiction. Anyways feel free to leave any advice or criticism on how I could improve my writing (please be nice though, because I am sensitive af lmaoo). Oh, and the classic "english isn't my first language" applies to this
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The atmosphere at Granny's Diner was as vibrant as ever, filled with its customary chatter and laughter. Regina Mills sat in the corner booth, seemingly focused on her drink. Yet, her gaze intermittently drifted towards you, engrossed in what seemed like an innocent conversation with Ruby Lucas, your laughters blending in with the diner’s ambiance.
Despite the celebration for a milestone achieved in Storybrooke, Regina's attention remained elsewhere. She noticed the way Ruby's gaze lingered on you, and a flicker of unease sparked within her. Though typically composed, Regina couldn’t help feeling a twinge of jealousy seeing Ruby direct playful banter at you.
Regina had always been protective, especially of you. The two of you had been friends for years, your bond growing stronger as time passed. Recently, however, your relationship had shifted, blossoming into something deeper and more intimate. You and Regina had been secretly dating for several months now, relishing the clandestine nature of your romance, keeping it hidden from the prying eyes of Storybrooke's inhabitants.
As the evening progressed, Regina found it increasingly challenging to ignore the growing jealousy that had taken root within her. Each playful exchange between you and Ruby fueled the flames of her simmering frustration, her jaw clenching with suppressed emotions.
Inwardly seething, Regina took a deliberate sip of her drink, a facade of composure masking the turmoil raging within her. The cool liquid did little to quell the storm of emotions churning beneath the surface as she maintained a poised exterior, concealing the inner conflict brewing within her.
As Ruby leaned closer to you—a gesture Regina interpreted as flirtatious—her jaw clenched further, the surge of jealousy nearly escalating. Her grip on her drink tightened, the glass threatening to shatter under the pressure of her clenched fingers. She had to look away, fearing that her emotions would betray her in front of everyone.
Ruby's laughter crescendoed, a sound that grated against Regina's frayed nerves. Each interaction between you and Ruby felt like a dagger twisting in her chest. Regina's mind raced with irrational thoughts and deep-buried fears. The ache in her chest had morphed into simmering anger, a blend of jealousy and frustration.
Eventually, the tension proved too much to bear. Regina abruptly rose from her seat, the sharp clicks of her stilettos echoing across the wooden floor of the diner, drawing your attention. Your eyes met hers, capturing a glimpse of something raw and untamed within Regina’s usually composed expression before she stormed out of the diner, her sole focus on escaping the suffocating atmosphere.
You watched her leave, a furrow forming on your brow, a mixture of confusion and concern evident. Sensing the tension that had soured the once cheerful atmosphere, you quickly excused yourself from Ruby's company.
Outside the diner, the cool night air failed to offer any relief as Regina briskly walked down the sidewalk, the echo of her heels punctuating the silent night with each determined step. The weight of unresolved emotions hung heavy in the air, evident in her gait and tense posture.
“Regina!” you called out, your voice cutting through the stillness of the night. Regina hesitated for a moment, the rhythmic click of her heels faltering before she continued walking, determined to distance herself from the scene that had stirred up a storm of emotions in her.
Desperate to bridge the growing distance between you, you quickened your pace, the echo of your own heels resonating as you tried to catch up to her. “Regina, please!” you called out again, the urgency evident in your voice.
Regina slowed down, hesitating for a fleeting moment before reluctantly turning to face you. Despite the distance, the streetlights illuminated the conflict etched on her features, a blend of hurt and frustration.
As you finally caught up to her, you were slightly taken aback by the look on her face. "What's wrong?" you questioned, worry lacing your voice.
"What's wrong?" Regina scoffed, her eyes flashing with suppressed frustration. "Can you not see it? How you entertain every flirtatious remark from Ruby as if it's some kind of game?"
Your brows furrowed into a puzzled expression. "Regina, Ruby and I are just friends." you defended, a hint of frustration creeping into your tone.
Regina's facade cracked, her voice rising with pent-up emotions. "Friends? Can't you see how she looks at you? How you laugh at her jokes and bask in her attention?
"I don't know what you're talking about," you retorted, a surge of defensiveness colouring your voice. "Ruby is just a friend, and you know that."
"Don't play ignorant!" Regina's words cut through the air like a knife. "I saw the way Ruby practically threw herself at you, and you seemed all too eager to indulge her!"
Confusion swept over you. "Indulge her? Ruby was just being friendly!"
"You don't see it, do you?" Regina's voice wavered between anger and hurt. "I've watched the way she looks at you, and it's not just harmless banter!"
Caught between Regina's piercing gaze and the unexpected accusation, you felt a surge of frustration rise within you. "Regina, it wasn't like that! Ruby and I were just having a conversation—"
"You can't be that naive!" Regina cut in, her frustration boiling over. "She was flirting with you right in front of me!"
You let out a scoff of disbelief. “Are you serious, Regina?” you questioned, eyebrows raising in astonishment. “Are you actually suggesting that? Or are you just fucking jealous?” you shot back, your disbelief now mixed with irritation.
Regina’s eyes widened, her initial frustration giving way to a mix of surprise and indignation. “Jealous?” she snapped back, letting out a breathless chuckle. “Don’t flatter yourself. I’m just pointing out the obvious.” Her words carried a sharp edge, her frustration still palpable.
“You’re overreacting!" you retorted, anger and hurt evident in your voice. "Sorry I didn't realise I needed your permission to talk to someone!"
The words hung heavily in the air, each sentence fueling the fiery argument. Regina's jaw clenched, her emotions unravelling with each passing second. "This isn't about me. It's about you and your constant need for attention from others!"
Her words cut deep, and you felt a surge of frustration mingled with hurt pride. "Is that what you really think?” you questioned, the words coming out with a mixture of hurt and astonishment.
Regina’s gaze hardened, the tension palpable in the charged air between you. “It’s not about what I think, it’s what I’ve seen.” she retorted sharply, her voice tinged with a mixture of exasperation and lingering hurt.
You stared at her, a lump forming in your throat. The air around you seemed to disappear, making you feel suffocated. “After everything—” you paused, struggling to contain the tumultuous emotions threatening to spill over. “Do you not trust me?” you whispered, tears threatening well up in your eyes as you swallowed the lump in your throat.
Before Regina could say anything, you turned away and stormed off, leaving her standing there in the chilly autumn night. Regina watched you disappear behind a corner before she let out a frustrated groan.
Regina got into her car, slamming the door shut with an echoing thud and driving away. Both of you retreated to your respective homes, leaving the echoes of the heated argument haunting the empty streets of Storybrooke.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As the night settled in Storybrooke, both you and Regina sequestered in your separate residents, enveloped in the lingering aftermath of the argument. The thunderstorm raging outside seemed to match the intensity of emotions both you and Regina were experiencing, leaving you both unable to sleep.
Regina sat by the window of her dimly lit bedroom, the occasional lightning illuminating the shadows that danced on the walls. Her mind was a chaotic whirlwind, replaying the argument with you over and over again. Frustration mingled with regret as she pondered her rash actions. She knew her emotions had gotten the better of her, unleashing a torrent of pent-up feelings she had desperately tried to conceal.
Regina continued watching raindrops race down the glass pane, mirroring the tears she had refused to shed. Her thoughts drifted back to the moment she had stormed out of Granny’s Diner, her heart aching with the realisation that she might have irreversibly damaged something precious with her outburst.
Meanwhile, you sat in your own dwelling, the distant thunder echoing the turmoil in your mind. The argument replayed in your thoughts like a broken record. Confusion and frustration gripped you as you pondered the misunderstanding that had spiralled out of control.
Despite your best efforts to push the heated exchange aside, you couldn’t shake off the unease that lingered. Regina’s words cut deep, leaving wounds of misunderstanding and hurt. You hadn't anticipated this level of conflict, especially with someone as close as Regina.
As the night wore on, the storm showed no signs of relenting, as if mirroring the unresolved tension between you and Regina. Each raindrop that splattered against the windowpanes seemed to echo the unspoken words and emotions that lingered between you.
In a sudden surge of determination, Regina couldn’t let things remain this way. She couldn’t shake off the unsettling feeling of discord that had settled between you two. Despite the pouring rain outside, Regina made a decision.
Grabbing her coat, Regina dashed out into the storm, the raindrops pelting against her skin. She hurried through the deserted streets of Storybrooke, the only sounds being the rhythmic drumming of the rain and the occasional distant rumble of thunder. Each step towards your house felt heavier than the last, fueled by the urgency to clear the air and mend what felt irreparably broken.
Lost in your thoughts, you were startled by the sharp knock echoing through your home, interrupting the solitary brooding. You hesitated, puzzled by the unexpected visitor in the midst of such a storm. As you approached the door, the knock came again, more urgent this time.
Opening the door, you were taken aback by the sight before you—Regina stood there drenched, rainwater streaming down her face, making her usually impeccable appearance dishevelled.
"Regina, what—?" Your words were cut short as Regina closed the gap between you in an instant, her hands softly cupping your face and her lips meeting yours in a passionate kiss.
Your initial shock quickly gave way to a surge of warmth as you reciprocated the kiss. Despite the storm raging outside, this moment felt oddly serene—the only thing that mattered was the feeling of her lips against yours.
Regina pulled back slightly, her eyes searching yours, a mix of apology and vulnerability reflected in their depths. “I’m so sorry.” she murmured, the words tinged with sincerity. “I didn’t mean for things to escalate earlier. I just...”
Regina’s lips parted, but no words escaped. You reached out, gently brushing a rain-soaked strand of hair from her face. Your gaze held a silent understanding, an unspoken acknowledgment of the tangled emotions that had led to this moment.
“I overreacted.” Regina admitted softly. “I let my insecurities get the better of me. I never meant to hurt you.”
The sincerity in her gaze was undeniable. You could sense the walls she had meticulously built crumbling down, exposing her raw feelings beneath the surface.
You gave her a sympathetic smile before pulling her into a tender embrace. Regina’s arms wrapped around you and her breath hitched slightly as she buried her face in the crook of your neck, breathing in your familiar scent.
"I didn't mean to upset you either." you whispered into her hair. Regina’s embrace tightened slightly as a silent acknowledgment of your words.
You both lingered in the embrace, finding comfort in the closeness that transcended words. However, as if nature had its own timing, a sudden rumble of thunder echoed through the sky, reverberating around you. Regina instinctively pulled away, her eyes widening slightly in realisation.
You glanced towards the downpour outside, the intensity of the storm painting the world in shades of grey. The reminder brought a faint chuckle from both of you, a brief interjection in the midst of the emotional intensity.
"Come on, I don’t want you to catch a cold." you said softly, a playful smile tugging at your lips as you pulled her inside your home, away from the rain-soaked night. As Regina stepped over the threshold, you closed the door behind her, shutting out the storm and the chaos of the outside world.

might i request f! jedi reader comforting tech after her death as a force ghost as he mourns her?
i saw the rule of 'no major character death' and im not sure if this falls under it, so if it does, sorry! love your stuff
Death Is Just A Word*** 🌊
🫧 Pairings: Tech X Jedi!FemaleReader
word count: 1.4k
prompts: none
Tumblr media
When everything gets too much for Tech, he finds himself entering a forest to relive his stress and emotions. He just didn’t know that his fallen Jedi will be there to meet him.
Warnings: death warning, heavy angst, comfort, reader is a Jedi who has died via sacrifice, mourning, can be a platonic or romantic relationship, Tech fears failure and is emotional, can also be read as gender neutral.
Tumblr media
The Marauder was a mess of tension. Failed mission after failed mission, constant arguments over strategy, and a void in the team’s dynamic that no one could ignore. Every time they fell short, Tech felt the sting deeper than he ever let on. The others thought his frustrations were just his usual pursuit of perfection. They didn’t realise it was the gnawing guilt beneath the surface; a guilt that whispered it was his fault you were gone.
You had sacrificed yourself for them a month ago, throwing yourself into the path of certain death to save them all, especially him. Tech had replayed that moment a thousand times. Each calculation, every step, and the single flaw in his plan that led to your choice. No matter how much he tried to logically categorise his grief, he couldn’t find a solution that brought him any peace.
Now, every corner of the Marauder reminded him of your absence. Your datapad still lay in the corner of the cockpit, untouched since that day. No one had dared to move it. It was absurd, really. Tech wasn’t one to let sentimentality interfere with logic, but there it was: an irrational need to leave your things as they were, as if by doing so, he could somehow preserve a piece of you.
One night, it all became too much. After yet another mission gone wrong, with tempers flaring and his mind buzzing with thoughts he couldn’t stop, Tech couldn’t stay aboard the ship. The tightening in his chest, the erratic pounding of his heart—these feelings were new and unnerving. He was usually so controlled, his emotions filed away in neatly ordered compartments, but now they were spilling over in ways he couldn’t manage.
“I need a break,” he muttered, barely audible to the others. He didn’t wait for a response before heading down the ramp and disappearing into the darkness of the nearby forest.
The cool night air felt suffocating as he stumbled deeper into the woods, branches snagging at and clawing at his battered armour. Tech’s mind raced familiar patterns of calculations and probabilities that were now distorted by flashes of grief, anger, and regret. His breath hitched, the sharp ache in his chest refusing to go away. The weight of it drove him to his knees, collapsing against a tree as he buried his face in his hands.
“Why can’t I just… process this?” he whispered to himself, voice trembling with frustration. He was supposed to be the logical one, the one who could solve anything. But how could he solve the emptiness left by someone who wasn’t supposed to be gone?
The forest was silent, save for the rustling of leaves in the wind. And then, something else.
“Tech.”
His head shot up at the sound of your voice. No, it wasn’t possible. He was hallucinating, his mind frayed by exhaustion and grief. But then he heard it again, softer, more familiar.
“Tech, darling. Look at me.”
Tentatively, he lifted his gaze. There, just a few steps away, was your figure, glowing faintly in the moonlight. You looked as you always had—serene, your eyes filled with the quiet understanding that had once brought him comfort. But there was something ethereal, otherworldly about you now, your form shimmering like mist.
He blinked hard, certain he was imagining things. “This this is not real,” he muttered, his voice laced with desperation. “You can not be here.”
“Maybe not in the way you’re used to,” you replied, that familiar teasing lilt in your tone as you fold your arms over your chest. “But I’m still here.”
Tech took a step closer, bewildered. “I was under the impression that only Force-sensitive beings could perceive Force ghosts.”
You simply smirked, raising an eyebrow. “Makes you wonder, doesn’t it?”
He stared at you, his mind racing even more, trying to find the answer that fit the parameters of what he understood. But there was no logical explanation, no way to rationalise why he, a mere ‘defective’ Clone, could see you. He was about to press further when the weight of his unresolved emotions crashed over him again, overriding his curiosity.
The confusion morphed into anger as he shook his head. “You sacrificed yourself. You… you did not have to do that. You could have stayed. I would have found another way.” His voice cracked on the last words, frustration and grief intertwining in his chest.
You laughed softly, the sound light despite the tension in the air. “Oh, you’re upset with me? That’s rich. If I didn’t know better, I’d say you’re ungrateful.”
“Ungrateful?” He stared at you incredulously, his logical mind struggling to keep up with the emotions crashing over him as you teased him. “Do you think I wanted you to throw your life away? We needed you—I needed you!”
Your gaze softened, and you took a step closer, though the distance between you still felt insurmountable. “I made my choice because I care about you all. Because I care about you. It’s what a Jedi does. I am to protect those I care about, even if it means sacrificing something precious.”
Tech clenched his fists, struggling with the reality of seeing you again, with the overwhelming mixture of relief, anger, and loss. “I really miss you,” he whispered, voice barely above a breath. “I keep trying to carry on like I always do, but nothing feels right without you. I can not focus. I can not summarise reasons as to why the missions have been failing. I can’t-.”
“Not everything can be calculated, Tech. Sometimes, you have to trust what you feel.”
You reached out, your hand hovering just above his chest, over his heart. “I’m still here, Tech. Not in the way you want, I know. But as long as you carry me with you, I’ll always be a part of you.” Your gaze was steady as you met his eyes. “It’s okay to miss me. It’s okay to grieve. But don’t forget that I believed in you—just as you are. You don’t have to solve everything.”
A single tear slipped down his cheek, and for once, he didn’t hide it. “You always had a way of getting under my skin, making me feel things I didn’t think I could,” he admitted, his voice thick with emotion. “I never got the chance to tell you what you meant to me.”
Your smile turned wistful. “I already knew, Tech. I always knew.”
He swallowed hard, his gaze turning pleading. “I know it is no longer physically possible, but I wish I could hug you. I never got to when you were alive.”
The pain in your eyes mirrored his as you shook your head slowly. “I wish you could, too. But I’m afraid you won’t be able to feel me.” You looked down at your hand, as if willing it to bridge the gap between you. “This is as close as we can get now.”
Tech’s shoulders sagged with the weight of that truth. He wanted so badly to reach out, to feel the warmth of your presence again, but all he could do was hold onto the memory. “I don’t know how to do this without you,” he admitted, his voice subtly breaking.
“You’re stronger than you think,” you said softly. “Trust in yourself, just like I trusted you all these years. And when it feels too heavy, remember that I’m still right here, where it matters most.” Your hand, still hovering near his chest, flickered slightly, as if you were fading.
He nodded slowly, unable to find the words as he watched your form begin to dim. “I will try.”
Your figure shimmered in the moonlight, a final, lingering smile gracing your lips. “Goodbye, Tech. Until we meet again.”
And just like that, you were gone, leaving him alone in the darkness of the forest, the echoes of your words lingering in the stillness. But for the first time in weeks, the silence wasn’t as unbearable. There was a small comfort in knowing that you were still with him, in some way, in the space that mattered most.
As he stood there under the canopy of stars, Tech wiped away the tear that had escaped, a quiet resolve settling in his chest. He wasn’t alone. You had made sure of that, even in death.
And somehow, he found the strength to take a deep breath and walk back toward the Marauder, where the others were waiting. For the first time since losing you, he allowed himself to believe that he can move forward.

Hi I saw you are looking for request!!
pierre gasly/baby sainz
where shes dating pierre post breakup with his ex. Kika is just disrespectful of the new couple dragging them on the internet and keeps showing up to races in the paddock looking for his attention. Baby sainz handles business by getting into a fist fight with her in a club after celebrating Carlos P3 and it's all over the social media. It makes headlines. Maybe Pierre was a bit drunk and kika baby sister!sainz showed her what's up. Pierre finds it funny and super attractive.
Thank you x
THE OTHER WOMAN
Hi guys. I hope you like reading this request.. THIS IS NO HATE TOWARDS KIKA! She actually is one of my favourite wags. @spookystitchery My requests are always open. Please send some! Feedback is always welcome. -XoXo
The music boomed loudly through the nightclub. In the middle of the club, Pierre and Amira danced sinfully to the rhythm. Little did the couple realize that they were being watched by none other than Kika.
Now, let’s rewind a bit.
After a massive fight about his job in Formula 1, Pierre and Kika decided to break up. Three months later, Pierre was frequently seen with Amira Sainz, Carlos’s precious little sister. However, it took another three months for them to officially confirm their relationship. And let’s just say the announcement garnered more attention on social media than any World Cup finale ever.
Of course, Kika got wind of their new relationship. Initially, she thought she could live with it. But as she witnessed how much Pierre and Amira became the “it” couple, she couldn’t help but start to harbor resentment. Specifically, she despised their relationship.
When Kika saw what Amira posted, she copied her actions, trying to make it seem like a coincidence. It only took a couple of posts before fans realized what she was doing. Kika even liked every comment that went against the couple.
The situation had escalated beyond mere jealousy. Kika’s emotions churned like a tempest, fueled by resentment and heartache. Pierre and Amira, blissfully unaware of her turmoil, continued their dance—a celebration of love and shared moments.
Kika’s anger simmered as she watched them twirl, their laughter echoing through the nightclub. She clenched her fists, her mind racing with thoughts of revenge. The Suzuka GP had been the tipping point—the final straw that snapped her fragile restraint.
When Pierre excused himself to fetch drinks, Kika seized her opportunity. She descended to the dance floor, her steps purposeful. Amira stood there, an unwitting accomplice in Kika’s vendetta. The room pulsed with music, drowning out the chaos in Kika’s mind.
“Look at what the cat dragged in,” Kika sneered, her voice dripping with venom. Amira glanced up, her eyes wide with surprise. “Oh, Kika. Hi,” she replied, her tone lacking enthusiasm. Amira wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, but even she couldn’t defend Kika’s irrational hatred any longer.
Kika leaned in, her breath hot against Amira’s ear. “You stole him from me,” she whispered, her fingers grazing Amira’s arm. “But tonight, I’ll steal your joy.” With that, she spun away, leaving Amira bewildered and Pierre’s fate hanging in the balance.
The nightclub pulsed around them, unaware of the storm brewing on the dance floor. Kika’s heart raced; revenge tasted bittersweet. She would ruin their night, even if it meant sacrificing her own sanity. The music swirled, a backdrop to her unraveling resolve.
As Pierre returned, drinks in hand, he found Kika gone and Amira staring after her. The dance continued, but the harmony had shattered. Kikas wrath had ignited a fire—one that threatened to consume them all.
And so, under the neon lights, the tangled threads of love, hate, and desperation wove a dangerous dance—one that would leave scars long after the music faded. When Carlos called Pierre over, Kika took her cance to ruin Amira' sainity.
"You know, when Pierre and I were together he used to performe phenomenal. And the only results with you as his partner are horrible." Amira was more than confused. "What…."" You might think that all the things he does with you are sweet and lovely." The more she talked the more Amira was getting annoyed. And her blood started heating up. "Everything he ever did with you, he already did with me." And now it was truly boiling. "I bet i'm even better in bed than you will ever be. He even said so himself. That i was always leaving his world rocking." Amira started balling her hands in fists. "Did he take you to meet his parents? Did he tell you that we were talking about our own kids? Thinking about marr-" Before she was able to say another word, the Sainz woman already hit her in the face.
"Perra estúpida. ¡Cállate la boca! Si te quería tanto, ¿por qué te dejó por mí, estúpida?" she yelled in Kika's face. In less than two seconds the attention was on them. Before Kika had the chance to hit her back, the two of them were separated.
Pierre picked her up around her waist. Amira however wasn't done. "Es patético que dediques tu tiempo a odiarnos. ¿Quieres pelea? Soy de la puta España. Puedo darte una buena, estúpido idiota." Pierre quickly took her out from the nightclub
"Amour, what the fuck was that? Are you hurt? What the fuck were you thinking?" he ranted angrily. She quickly turned to him: "The fuck was i thinking? Was defending our relationship because that stupid girl was being disrespectful. She said-" Before she could utter another word, Pierre started kissing her.
"Ma cherie, you have no idea how incredibly sexy you are right now. Let's get back to the hotel so we can….."

-------------------------------------------------------
Kakashi had tried his best to put Y/N out of his mind throughout the day, but the thought kept pestering him. He kept imagining her laugh, throwing her head back at something Genma said, and he would almost see red at the thought of it. Even worse, the idea of the two of them hooking up, would send him spiralling. As the evening drew nearer, he selfishly decided he needed to intervene.
He felt so guilty spying on them, as they stumbled towards her flat, but more than anything, he was annoyed at the fact that she'd invited him back. Deep down he knew how unfair and irrational his actions were, but he just couldn't stop himself from pressing further.
He hadn't even dropped his book the previous night. He just needed an excuse to interrupt their evening. Kakashi had used a substitution jutsu on a random box he'd found hiding under her bed, in support of his alibi. Despite his shame at how low he had stooped, part of him felt a sense of satisfaction from stepping in and showing the other jōnin who's territory this was. Then again, he had no right to claim Y/N as his own.
Burdened by these contradicting thoughts, Kakashi fled to his usual haunt - the park bench, where he'd bumped into her all those nights ago.
Back at her flat, Y/N sat down heavily. Although feeling mostly sober by now, her thoughts were at a disarray. She was upset by Genma's departure, she thought they had great chemistry and felt disappointed by his easy surrender. Having said that, she couldn't entirely blame the guy. Kakashi's notoriety followed him around, the awful nickname 'friend-killer' on everyone's minds when he walked passed. She wasn't afraid of him, but she could understand Genma not wanting to get on his bad side.
Oh, Kakashi. Just thinking about his antics earlier made her furious. What was he playing at, storming in there like that, pretending he'd spent the night with her. The more she played the scene over in her head, the more riled up she became. His nonchalant tone and sarcastic manners burned inside her mind's eye. He must've done it on purpose. But for what reason?!
Starting to feel herself go crazy, Y/N decided that she needed to confront the gray-haired trickster. And she knew exactly where to find him.
Unsurprisingly, he was in the park as if expecting her. She stormed towards him, unconcerned by the late hour.
"What the hell was that back there?" She demanded, letting her anger loose on him.
"I don't know what you mean." Kakashi acted casual, not looking up from his book.
"Oh please! You and I both know you have a million copies of that book, stashed in your house. This was deliberate!"
"I take it he's left, seeing as you're here, shouting at me."
"I'm not..." she had to consciously lower her voice. "I'm not shouting at you. And yes, what did you expect after that scene you caused. How did you even know he was there?!"
"I hear things." His sarcasm was infuriating.
"Why, Kakashi? What could you have possibly had to gain from embarrassing me like that?"
"Well, if you must know, Genma's a notorious playboy. I didn't think he was good enough for you." He replied, trying to convince himself as much as her that this had been his motivation.
She was astounded by his audacity. Recovering her composure, she spat back at him:
"Frankly, that's none of your business!"
"As your friend, I thought it my duty to intervene and..."
"No!" She cut him off, losing her nerve entirely. "You lost any authority over my lovelife the second you refused to be the focus of it." Her voice was no longer angry, but riddled with sorrow. Refusing to let herself fall apart in front of him, Y/N turned around and ran back to her flat, leaving a guilt-riddled Kakashi behind.
"Oh, boy...what have I done." He sighed into the night.
His earlier satisfaction from achieving his goal had completely disappeared, substituted by shame and regret. He'd recognised the hurt in her voice, forcing him to realise how he'd toyed with her tonight. He put his head in his hands in desperation.
One thing remained unclear to him; why had he done it? He'd acted almost impulsively, refusing to acknowledge a simple truth. Whether he wanted to or not, he was finally faced with an answer - he'd been jealous. Of course, he knew he had feelings for her, but he'd tried so hard to repress them for fear of losing her like so many before, that he'd hardly acknowledged them. And now... In his ignorance, he'd acted foolishly and threatened to lose her anyway.
"I have to fix this." He said to himself, still unsure of his next move.
Over the next few days, the rookie genin teams competed in the preliminary round of the chunin exam, where their numbers were significantly depleted. The remaining kids would go on to face each other in the finals, a month later. The Hokage called an assembly of all chunin and jōnin of the village.
"As you all know, many influential lords and politicians will be joining us during the final stage of the chunin exam. We need to showcase not only our village's strength, but our financial merits as well." The Hokage spoke.
"This is why, we are hosting an event to gain new investors, who will support our shinobi training program. It'll be held in one week, and I have personally invited some of the wealthiest merchants and title holders. I expect you all to attend and work towards charming our guests."
Great, Y/N thought, she only had a month to prepare Shino for the final matches, and now this.
None of the attendees seemed particularly pleased by the news, but one look at the Hokage's stern expression, and they all knew they had to do what was expected of them.
Leaving the meeting auditorium, it was Kakashi's turn to pull Y/N aside.
"Can we talk?" He said. Seeing her reluctance, he added a please at the end of his question.
She sighed and led him to a corner in the hallway, where it was quiet. They hadn't spoken to each other since that awful argument, but it still felt as fresh as the night it happened.
"Y/N, you have to know how sorry I am. I acted stupidly and things got out of control. I never meant to hurt you, truly." Kakashi looked genuinely remorseful as he spoke.
She'd planned on staying mad at him, but his sincerity cracked her stern exterior. There was no point in denying it, she had a soft spot for him, and she would forgive anything. But things couldn't go on like this.
She took a deep breath, letting her guard down.
"I want to be your friend, Kakashi, I really do. But I think we should stop with the late nights and surprise visits...both of us." She trailed off, avoiding his eye. She knew he'd be disappointed, upset even. She knew it, because her own heart was breaking as she spoke.
"We've gotten ourselves so emotionally intertwined, I think we can't lay any boundaries anymore."
He didn't interrupted her, didn't argue. How could he, when what she was saying was the truth.
"We can be friendly around each other... just not in the way we have been so far." She concluded.
Kakashi nodded silently. They remained in place for a moment.
"If that is what you want." He finally spoke, then promptly turned around and walked away.
Y/N sighed. What she had wanted was to be with him, but he'd taken that possibility away. Now it seemed they were both hurting.
The following week passed quickly. Between training with Shino and her other jōnin duties, Y/N had hardly any time to dwell on her recent personal drama, and she was glad for it. Only at night, when sleep would undoubtedly evade her, she desperately wished to see him, fighting the urge to seek him out with all her strength.
"It'll get easier." She kept telling herself, never fully believing it.
Kakashi applied himself vigorously to training Sasuke, even teaching him the chidori. He was somber and quiet the rest of the time, which wasn't unusual for the typically withdrawn copy-ninja, or at least so it seemed on the outside. In truth, he was suffering at the loss of Y/N more than he wanted to admit.
He would roam around the village at night, hoping to bump into her, if even for a second, then quickly hiding at the faintest of sounds, ashamed of his actions. He wanted to respect her wishes, yet his heart ached more and more with each day he kept away. He was beginning to realise that the most foolish thing he had done, was deny his feelings for her. He'd shown her everything, up to his rotten core, and she hadn't looked away. Kakashi loved her for that. Kakashi loved her. But wasn't it too late?
The investor event came along. It was to be held in the assembly halls, with live music, drinks and dancing. Although not entirely willing, the village shinobi put on their best clothes and their brightest smiles, to fulfil their duties for their homeland. Even if those duties were to charm the wealthy businessmen and women, whose money they needed.
Y/N wore her best yukata to the event, her hair neatly pinned back and with flowers tucked in it. As she walked into the brightly lit room, she was met by a dazzling Gai.
"Y/N, you're a vision of spring and beauty!" He said, taking her hand in his. "With your good looks and mine, we're sure to get some hearts racing tonight! And some money in our pockets" He whispered the last statement and winked at her.
She giggled at his usual flamboyance and allowed him to lead her away towards some guests. She was listening to a boring conversation between two merchants and politely smiling along, when she spotted Kakashi walking in. He wore a dark grey hakama over his kimono, which made him stand out in the crowd. Her first thought was how handsome he looked, but she quickly scolded herself over it and instead motioned a wave, when he looked her way. To her surprise, Kakashi didn't respond, but quickly ducked and disappeared amongst the pool of people. She wondered if he maybe hadn't seen her.
As the night began unfolding, music started playing and couples came out on the dance floor. Suddenly, Y/N found herself swarmed with suitors, asking her to dance one after the other. Bound to her duty, she obliged the guests, but every time one of them spun her around, her eyes would seek out Kakashi. And without a doubt, every time her gaze fell upon his, he'd turn away.
A group dance was organised, where couples would join in and switch partners at different intervals. An older gentleman, who traded with ships (or so she was told) asked her to dance. She smiled sweetly and offered him her hand, despite feeling exhausted by this point. At least she'd stumbled upon a good dancer, as he expertly led and twirled her around.
Upon switching partners, she was pulled in by a familiar embrace. Kakashi held her tight, as he maneuvered them both swiftly along the dancefloor.
"He dances." She said, feigning surprise.
"Well, when the Hokage's wife drags you out, it's hard to refuse." Kakashi let out a slight chuckle.
She scoffed at that, the cheerful glint in her eyes betraying her true feelings. It was a relief to see him smile again.
"You've been avoiding me tonight." She said matter-of-factly.
Kakashi cleared his throat.
"I'm surprised you noticed with all the men throwing themselves at you." His voice sarcastic, yet strained.
"Does it bother you?" Her eyes widened in curiosity. She couldn't help but push on.
"Of course it bothers me." His sincerity surprised her. Usually with him, it was all cloak and dagger, so why the sudden reveal? She felt the familiar feelings of confusion and hurt rising up in her.
"You must know by now that none of that matters to me." She whispered, loosing the grip on her emotions somewhat.
"And why not?" His gaze intensely focused on her expression, trying to read it.
"Kakashi..." She hesitated.
"I want to hear you say it." He pressed further leaning into her ear, his voice just above a whisper.
Sensing the exhaustion take over, she felt like she was going to crack. It was too much, being so close to him, wondering if he was toying with her again.
"I... I can't do this!" Y/N pulled away from him, running towards the entrance. A few heads turned to look at Kakashi, eyes filled with curiosity. Kurenai ran over to him.
"What happened?"
"Nothing."
"I better go and check on her." The female jōnin looked concerned.
"No, don't. I'll go after her." He interjected, leaving the dance floor.
Once outside, he spotted her walking away in rushed steps.
"Y/N, wait!" He called after her, running to shorten the distance between them.
She stopped and turned towards him. When he reached her, he could see tears gleaming in the corner of her eyes.
"Wait for what, Kakashi? I can't keeping doing this with you. This back and forth, this game..." She trailed off, her voice shaky.
Kakashi reached his hand and gently wiped her wet cheek.
"Y/N, I've been a fool." Was the only thing he managed to say.
"What on earth do you mean?" She was still angry with him, an anger born out of hurt.
"Denying what my heart has been aching for, this whole time." His palm rested on her cheek, the way hers once had, when he'd shown her the sharingan.
The sorrow in her eyes turned to surprise, then to hope. She leaned into his hand, taking a step closer to him.
"And what is it that you've been aching for?" She asked softly.
Kakashi sighed.
"You know."
"I want to hear you say it." She echoed his words from earlier.
He watched her for a moment, taking in her beautiful, tear-stained face.
"You."
At those words, she closed the remaining distance between them, pulling him into a passionate kiss. Weaving her arms around his neck, his own wrapping around her waist, their bodies intertwined as their lips devoured each other. When they finally pulled back to take a deep breath, they were both smiling widely.
"Take me home, Kakashi." She whispered.
He took her hand in his and led her back, both hearts soaring at the feeling of surrender.

A Heart Fiercely Protected
Summary: Sanemi, the Wind Hashira, battles jealousy as his protective instincts flare when Y/N, tends to Tanjiro and his friends. After a tense moment, Y/N reassures Sanemi of her love for him.
Warnings: None.
Note: I do plan on writing for someone that isn't Sanemi.
Tumblr media
The sun had just begun to dip below the horizon, casting a warm, golden hue over the Butterfly Mansion. The peaceful sounds of the garden mixed with the faint chatter from inside the mansion, creating a serene atmosphere. You moved gracefully through the corridors, your gentle smile lighting up the faces of those you passed. Your caring nature had earned you the admiration and affection of everyone around you.
Sanemi Shinazugawa, the Wind Hashira, watched you from a distance, his usual stern expression softening as he observed your kindness. You were tending to Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu, who had just arrived, helping Aoi with their treatment. Sanemi's chest tightened with an unfamiliar sensation—jealousy. He clenched his fists, feeling an irrational surge of anger. He knew how much he loved you, how fiercely protective he was of you, and seeing Tanjiro, someone he already had a strained relationship with, taking up your attention was unbearable.
Earlier that day, there had been an incident with one of the mansion's servants. The servant had raised his voice at you, and Sanemi had nearly lost control. The memory of your startled expression, the way your eyes had filled with tears, haunted him. He had come within a hair’s breadth of ending the servant's life, his anger only tempered by your soft plea for mercy.
"Sanemi, please," you had whispered, your gentle touch on his arm the only thing that had brought him back from the brink. He had glared at the servant one last time before storming off, his heart pounding with the intensity of his emotions.
Now, he stood in the shadows, watching you laugh softly with Tanjiro. The boy’s earnest expression as he spoke with you only fueled Sanemi’s jealousy. He should be the one making you smile like that. He should be the one basking in your warmth.
Unable to bear it any longer, Sanemi stepped forward, his presence immediately drawing the attention of everyone in the room. Tanjiro looked up, his smile faltering slightly at the sight of the Wind Hashira’s intense gaze."Y/N," Sanemi's voice was gruff, betraying his inner turmoil. "I need to talk to you."
You turned to him, concern flickering in your eyes. "Of course, Sanemi. Is everything alright?"
He nodded curtly, not trusting himself to speak further. You excused yourself from the others and followed him outside, where the evening air was cool and refreshing. The garden was bathed in the soft light of twilight, the flowers around you adding a sweet fragrance to the atmosphere.
Sanemi stopped by the koi pond, his back to you. You could see the tension in his shoulders, the way his hands were clenched at his sides. Gently, you reached out, placing a hand on his arm.
"Sanemi," you said softly, "what's wrong?"
He turned to face you, his eyes filled with a mix of emotions. "I can't stand seeing you with him," he confessed, his voice barely above a whisper. "With any of them."
You blinked in surprise. "Sanemi, they're just friends. I'm helping Aoi take care of them. There's nothing to worry about."
"It's not that simple," he muttered, looking away. "I can't help it. I get jealous. I know it's stupid, but... I love you. I can't stand the thought of anyone else taking your attention away from me."
Your heart ached at his words, and you stepped closer, placing a hand on his cheek. "Sanemi, you don't have to be jealous. My heart belongs to you. You're the one who protects me, who loves me. I care about them as friends, but you... you're everything to me."
He looked down at you, the fierce protectiveness in his eyes softening slightly. "You mean that?"
"Of course I do," you replied, smiling gently. "You have nothing to worry about."
Sanemi let out a breath he hadn't realized he was holding, his shoulders relaxing. He pulled you into his arms, holding you tightly as if afraid you might slip away.
"I'm sorry," he murmured into your hair. "I just... I can't lose you."
"You won't," you whispered back, wrapping your arms around him. "I'm here, Sanemi. Always."

Jealous? I'm not jealous!
Tumblr media
Mike Schmidt x fem! Reader
He's tired of this suspicious cop visiting your job
Warnings: hurt/comfort, fighting, jealous insecure feelings from Mike, fem! Bodied and presenting reader, you/your pronouns, no use of y/n, soft smut, subby Mike, p in v
Love this scenario feel free to send in requests <3
Vanessa's laughter echoed in the air as you exchanged warm farewells after your shift.
Your attention, however, was soon captivated by a different scene unfolding nearby. Mike, a brooding figure, rested against the hood of his car, unable to mask his emotions in the fading twilight. His arms tightly folded, and his gaze, sharp and unwavering, remained fixed on Vanessa as she sauntered into the distance.
He caught your gaze, a harsh sigh leaving his lips before abruptly turning away.
"Woah, what's got you worked up hun? " You spoke curiously, unsure what his reaction would be
“Don’t worry about it.” Mike said curtly, “It’s none of your concern.” You put your hands up at his sharp tone
"Okayy, just wanted to make sure your okay" you say taken aback
“Honestly, I could use some peace and quiet right now.” Mike’s tone was sharp and short, making it blatantly obvious that he did not want to talk. But you couldn't just let him be upset
"Ok I know you probably don't want to talk about it but if some things bothering you, you can always tell me, no matter what okay” you say frowning
Mike didn't respond immediately. Instead, he stared into the ground with a heavy sigh. Finally, he reluctantly nodded his head.
“There's...something, alright.”
"Are you comfortable telling me hun? " you say sincerely
"Well...we might as well talk now. So yeah." Mike paused, before starting. "I hate when you talk to Vanessa."
You look surprised "Vanessa? She's my friend" you say confused by his distaste for her
"That's what bothers me." Mike said sharply, "Why are you so close with her anyway?"
"We just get along well at work, it's not anything else than that" you look at him brows furrowed
"I'm still not comfortable with it." Mike paused, his gaze flickering away as he continued. "You spend more time with her than me.”
"I don't see he outside of work like ever I mean yeah I have long shifts but I'm not spending more time with her" you say defensively
“It feels like it.” Mike argued, his tone a mix of anger and irritation. “You’re constantly talking about her, and it’s like you don’t even acknowledge me anymore.”
" Mike she nothing compared to you! She just a friend I like talking to, I'm excited about making a new friend nothing more! " you say aggrivated
"Well, it's bothering me. I'm sorry, but it is. And I can't help the way I feel. When you talk about her, it honestly hurts...it's like you're choosing her over me." Mike's voice was a low hiss, his eyes narrowed.
"That's ridiculous! Your my number one, always, you can't let these jealous feelings convince you otherwise! "
"Jealousy?" Mike’s eyes narrowed further. "I'm not jealous. Why would I be? Vanessa means nothing to me. She's not important. It hurts seeing you two so close, and knowing that you're having a good time with her...all the while, I'm here, just a second option you could take or leave..."
"It's obvious you are, because if you weren't jealous, you'd see that your obviously more important, why can't you see that! You spit angrily
“All I see is you giggling at Vanessa, and the two of you whispering to one another while she’s clearly flirting with you!” Mike raised his voice, not wanting to believe in what he was seeing. “Face it, you enjoy the attention you get from her.” You gasp in response
"She is not! We're just friends and even if she was flirting with me I would reject her, I only have eyes for you, your being irrational! "
Mike scoffed. “Yeah. Sure. Maybe I am letting jealously get the best of me, but tell me...why do you talk with her more than you talk with me? Why is she so fun to hang around with, while I apparently am not?”
" I don't know it's just nice to have a friend I can talk to about girly stuff! I talk about you and Abby! I talk about my day, what I plan on cooking for dinner, funny things I've seen, just little things that make me happy, she listens it's just nice to have a friend for once, it's literally nothing more! "
"Well...whatever." Mike glared at you harshly, trying to ignore the fact that a majority of his jealousy had just left his heart. It was obvious that he was a stubborn man who didn't like changing his mind. "It still bothers me."
"You are so frustrating sometimes, what the hell do I have to do to for you to get that your the only one worthy of my love, your the reason I get up in the morning, your who I want to spend my life with, friends come and go we stay together! " You say in a Huff
Mike paused, not sure how to feel after your words. As stubborn as he was, he couldn't help but feel a lightness in his chest as you reassured him of your love.
"You're right," he admitted softly. "I'm sorry for getting so angry...I'm being irrational. Just promise me that you'll talk to Vanessa a little less, alright?"
You sigh calming down a but lowering your voice "Fine, I'll keep my distance okay, I was just excited to make a new friend, I didn't mean to make it seem like I liked her more. It really hurts that you think I'd ever do that to you, I'm trying my best Mike"
Mike nodded, his anger dissipating completely. "You're right. I was just letting my jealous feelings get a hold of me. I'm sorry for acting so irrationally."
Though he was clearly still agitated, he was trying his best to remain calm. "I'm glad you've found yourself a new friend...I just hope that she's not making any advances or flirting with you."
"I don't even think she likes girls, and if she was I'd shut it down in a heartbeat, I've told her about you about a million times"
Mike smirked, unable to completely hide his embarrassment. "That's good to know. I'm glad she's not as big of a problem as I imagined...and, well..." He paused, his expression shifting from embarrassed to annoyed. "You've told her about me a million times? Wow, that's just great..."
"What it's not like it's anything bad, your the main person in my life " You say tilting your head
Mike rolled his eyes but couldn't manage to be angry for long. Instead, he pulled you into a tight hug, smiling slightly.
“I know, I know...I’m just being an idiot. My insecurities got the better of me, and that’s not fair to either one of us.”
You hug him back "I know it can be hard, but you can't bottle it all up inside it's not good for you"Mike paused, realizing in that moment that this was probably the first time you’d ever seen him this outwardly emotional.
“You’re right...I’m sorry, I’ve been letting it all build up too much. I feel like I keep taking it out on you with these accusations, and I hate myself for that.”
"Your human your going to make mistakes, it's apart of learning and growing, in the end mistakes are just little lessons learned along the way, and being together, means we learn and grow together"
Mike felt your words hit him in the exact way he needed them to. While it was true that he was stubborn, he wanted to be a better man. Maybe he could learn a thing or two from you.
“You’re right...I guess I’ve just let a lot of things build up in the past. I know now that I need to do better.” He paused, pulling away to face you. “Do you forgive me?”
"Of course I forgive you, you know I love you right? "
A smile crept onto Mike’s face as the feeling of guilt left him, and he wrapped his arms around you once more.
“I love you too. More than you will ever know.” You look into his eyes lovingly then give him a gentle kiss
Mike was surprised by the tender kiss, his breath catching as your lips embraced his. He was taken aback by just how much he needed the affection, his body responding to the feeling of warmth and love.
When you pulled away, he couldn't help but feel intoxicated by the sensation of your lips against his. "God...I didn't realize just how much I needed that.
"Now let's get home, have a little alone time" You smile sweetly
Mike's eyes widened, but he nodded in agreement with the biggest smile on his face. After all, alone time with you was exactly what he needed to feel rejuvenated.
"Definitely..."
After a quick drive home, the two of you pulled into your driveway and exited your car. The night air was cool and relaxing, and the sky was dark and empty, making it the perfect time to unwind.
Mike locked the car and tucked his arm around your waist, a small smile gracing his lips as he started to walk you towards the house.
Mike was excited for you two to return home, and you could see it in the way he looked at you with an affectionate gaze. It had been a night full of emotional highs and lows, and now all he was focused on was spending some alone time with the love of his life. You finally made it to the house, and Mike escorted you inside. It was clear that he was eager to get cozy and cuddle, as he immediately took your hands and led you to the bedroom. He closed the door behind you two, sealing you two into a room of intimacy and privacy. The air was comforting and warm, and there were few places you'd rather be. Mike wasted no time, immediately leading you to the bed and pushing you gently against the soft pillows.
You couldn't help but let out a soft gasp as Mike began to shower you with kisses. It had been a long night of emotional strife, but Mike was making it up to you in ways that could only be done behind closed doors. His touch was gentle and passionate, sending a wave of warmth through your body and making you feel safe and loved.
You humm loving the affections
Mike's lips trailed down the side of your neck, his mouth exploring every inch of your skin. You sighed softly, the sensation of his touch making you feel safe and cozy. It was clear that he wanted to take things to the next level, but he wasn't in any rush, letting you savor every delicious moment.
Mike’s hands began to roam, slowly but confidently, and soon their fingers were interlocked. Their lips continued to meet with each other in long, lavish kisses, their tongues teasing and exploring. The feeling of his body pressed against yours, his breath lingering against your skin was the most sensual and euphoric experience you’ve ever had.
You let out little noises in content, loving the feeling of him against you
Mike's kisses became more passionate, his hands trailing lower, caressing your hips as you laid back on the bed. His eyes scanned you body, taking in every inch of your warmth and beauty. You wrap your legs around his waist pulling him closer
Mike paused, feeling both surprised and pleased by the sudden show of affection. His hands went back to your hips, his grip tightening slightly as he was pulled in closer.
Your bodies were now pressed together, the feeling of him pressed against you was intoxicating and exciting.
Slowly he grinded his hips into you through his jeans, placing kisses along your neck. You let out a moan, loving the feeling of him hardening against you
He reaches for your shirt taking it off for you, before unclasping your bra. He pulls back earning a frustrated whine to his amusement he takes of your pants and underwear leaving you completely bare in front of him. He takes if his shirt, pants and underwear, reclaiming his spot between your legs. He rubs against you letting out a deep groan. “Fuck.. You don't know how much I need you.. “ he says kissing up your chest. He's rubbing through your slick folds, head rubbing right against your clit perfectly. You moan “Please need you now” He wastes no time, lining up with your entrance, slowly pushing in. He moans as the squeeze, he never fully gets used to how good you make him feel. He starts slowly rocking into you, feeling every drag along your walls. Your moans are all he wants to hear “more~” you purr. He happily complies thrusting into you at a steady pace. Cursing under his breath he can feel how your walls squeeze him so well when he hits your g-spot. With every thrust he whines more, letting out moans face pressed into your chest. ““ F-fuck so close, so close “ he whines. He reaches down and begins to rub little circles on your clit. You buck into him with a loud moan at the sensation. “Just like that baby fuck! “ you moan out. You both are close to meeting your end. Mikes moans have turned to desperate whimpers “Fuck baby.. Tell me you love me,tell me you need me” he moans out whines your both about to come “Fuck, love you-only you Mike, need you so bad! “ With that he cums inside you moaning and rutting into you. The tight coil in your stomach snaps eyes rolling back as you feel his release inside of you. He continues the thrust riding out both of your orgasms before coming to a stop kissing you deeply. He pulls out laying down next to you holding you close in his arms “I love you so much baby” you sigh contently
“I know… “

I wanted to ask your opinion on the way TLoVM treats Vex's character in comparison to the campaign?
It feels like it started great on the first season, did some great stuff on the second, but nose dived on this last one
Sorry, second question but it's a continuation Vex and Keyleth both feel like they stepped down on the series, and Pike is the only one that had something to do other than look sad for the majority of the season Like yes yes, arcs tend to have a character in the forefront, and there is a time limitation for character development over on the plot B side, but also this doesn't feel great.
Truth be told I don't have a problem with how Vex was adapted in this season; I thought that, on the whole, the changes they made were fine and even good! I'm disappointed that Saundor had no presence, but that's a minor change in the scheme of things. Her insistence on the FWB thing lent a real gut punch to how badly Percy's death affected her; it felt real and was one of the changes I liked.
Keyleth, though? Just abjectly awful. She's a nothing character in the show itself, never mind compared to her campaign counterpart. She's literally just Girlboss Aang. None of her relationships have any bearing on her except her boyfriend and some token references to "my friends". She complains no one listened to her about Raishan but no one's close enough to her or willing to point out that half her accusations made her sound like a child because guess what? The one guy who would have done that hasn't had a conversation with her since season one. Her actual, canonical lifespan angst is given to Vax, because god forbid he not be the rational sturdy one compared to those silly emotional women in his life. Her anger at Raishan is irrational or played for laughs half the time. Her only flaw the narrative will ever acknowledge is that she doesn't believe in herself.
Like this is not a question of "it's an adaptation they didn't have time". It's not about the writers' strike, because they were writing scripts and recording dialogue in 2022. They HAD time. They PLANNED how to use their time. And they used it like this.

I felt like writing the femslash Spirk version of one of my absolute favorite scenes in TOS, from my beloved "Balance of Terror", so I stayed up until 3:30 AM doing it :D
S'paak regularly pretended not to understand the idioms of Federation Standard when she comprehended their meaning perfectly well. She preferred a more exact use of language, and reminding those around her of their imprecision prompted them to speak more directly and clearly. None of her crew mates appeared to notice the small deceit, but then, their prejudices so often did her work for her. Also, it was funny. Captain Kirk's arrival had made S'paak's pretended ignorance still more enjoyable. It soon became apparent that the captain was not deceived—but she was amused. She rarely challenged S'paak's assumed confusion, but just smiled and shook her head while responding as if she believed her. It became a game, of sorts, a silent understanding between the two of them that required nothing further and went nowhere. From all that S'paak could see, the captain did not actually wish her different: and she couldn't remember the last time she had interacted with anyone who did not wish her something other than what she was. Most likely she had never done so, in fact, and this was one more way in which Jessica Kirk had turned out to be entirely unique. Now and then, though, S'paak encountered some niche phrasing or metaphor she mostly didn't have to pretend to find strange—something she could interpret with effort, but had to consider first. Back at the Academy, she'd overheard other cadets talking about how someone had angered an instructor and you could just about feel the room temp dropping. S'paak had been puzzled until she remembered encountering similar figurative language in literary and cultural texts of her mother's people that she had read as a girl, novels that spoke of atmosphere or air chilling as a result of some tension or rage felt by the characters. The wording might be different, but the concepts were evidently the same—even though anger naturally had no effect on external temperature, and she found the metaphor awkward and poorly conceived. Both their peoples associated anger with heat, whether the consuming flame of unrestrained emotion for Vulcans, or the more endurable but still hot, intemperate fury so natural to humans, their skin ruddy with its warmth as they whirled towards each other, gestured violently, shouted, sometimes turned to aggression and even violence. Anger was hot; indifference was cold. She had long known this, and she knew it until the day the Enterprise pursued a ship filled with humanity's old enemies, the Romulans.
The humans had never actually seen a Romulan. Neither had S'paak when they managed to capture some of the video footage of the enemy ship and display it on their own screens. With the disagreeable clench in her stomach that always accompanied unexpected emotion, she gazed at the faces of the Romulan crew—faces that could have belonged to her uncles, cousins, any number of kinsmen. This, she had not foreseen, and her brows had already risen before she controlled the jolt of surprise.
Embarrassingly, the captain revealed less of whatever she thought or felt than S'paak had.
"Decoding?" Jess asked, as if the obvious relationship between S'paak and Starfleet's enemies meant nothing.
"Cryptography is working on it, ma'am," said Lieutenant Uhura, in her usual crisp way.
Stiles, the unpleasantly irrational navigator manning weapons, was not so professional. He muttered in a clearly audible voice,
"Give it to S'paak."
S'paak turned to look at him. She was used to distrust from her peers—had rarely known anything else—but not barely-concealed insinuations of treason, and felt no need to hide her distaste. Stiles glowered at her, not even slightly trying to modulate his contempt.
The captain, standing not far away from him with a hand on her chair, straightened a little.
"I didn't quite get that, Mr. Stiles," she said.
S'paak didn't believe her. But she didn't think anyone did. Or that anyone was meant to.
"Nothing, ma'am," he mumbled.
Without a twitch of expression, Jess walked further away from them, stepping around the far end of the helm panel controlled by Mr. Sulu, and dropping her hand on the panel itself. Stiles stiffened where he sat, very obviously nervous as Jess strolled towards his station on the other end of the panel, her hand trailing after her until she lifted it to tap a nail on the weapon controls immediately in front of him.
Her posture was not visibly tense. Her voice had not raised in volume. The literal temperature of the bridge had not altered in the slightest.
"Repeat it," Jess said softly.
In that instant, S'paak understood that foolish old figure of speech. She could feel an almost palpable chill settling over the bridge, her skin cooling well beyond the usual as everyone except Stiles, the captain, and S'paak glanced at each other uneasily.
Jess hadn't stopped moving. Locking her hands behind her back, she wandered right past S'paak without a glance at her, over to the rear of the bridge, where Uhura stood with the tapes. Her fingers weren't clenched. She betrayed no sign of human temper.
Jessica was not merely affronted, S'paak realized. She was angry. Very angry.
Stiles exhaled, still rigid with the kind of smoldering, resentful fury S'paak found more familiar among his kind. It would have struck her as pathetic and trivial in any circumstance, really, even without the icy disapproval of the captain. But the contrast between his impotent tantrum and the quiet but unmistakable menace emanating from Jess certainly did him no favors. S'paak watched them, unwilling and perhaps unable to speak, some part of her feeling little but distaste for the man before her, another part illogically thrilling at the scene unfolding before her eyes.
Staring at the weapons controls, Stiles said,
"I was suggesting that Commander S'paak could probably translate it for you, ma'am."
Jess retraced her step back towards the panel, standing beside Stiles's station with every appearance of calm, her hands still loosely joined behind her. She didn't even look at him.
"I assume," said the captain, her voice still very level, "that you're complimenting Commander S'paak on her ability to decode."
Commander S'paak. Her. Beyond all logical concern with what all this signified—the facts that the man operating the weapons on this ship could so easily question her integrity, that the Romulans would not have looked out of place in Shi'Kahr, any of it—she felt anxious, excited, light-headed, uneasy, more things than any Vulcan should feel at any time. S'paak bit her lip.
This was for her.
"I'm not sure, ma'am," Stiles said sullenly.
At last, Jessica turned to look down at him with something of her usual expressiveness, regarding her own crewman with more contempt than S'paak had ever seen her direct at anyone. Her hand reached out for the back of his chair and spun it, hard, forcing him to look right into her eyes. Even in profile, there was no missing the implacable intensity in her face.
"Well, here's one thing you can be sure of, Mr. Stiles," Jessica said, leaning slightly down, her hand still gripping his chair and preventing him from turning away or evading her stare. "Leave any bigotry in your quarters. There's no room for it on the bridge." Her clear voice hardened. "Do I make myself clear?"
Stiles at least had the sense to realize his danger. He looked afraid, as well he might.
"You do, ma'am," he managed to say.
Without so much as a reply, Jess released her grip on his chair and headed back towards her own. Stiles returned his attention to the weaponry—at least, they could only hope he had, though by his manner, S'paak wouldn't have been surprised if he had relieved himself.
Se turned back to her own station, somewhat relieved that its position forced her to turn her back to everyone else, even the captain, and shielded her expression from view. She forced her breath to its normal pace, ignoring the thundering of her pulse throughout her bloodstream, thinking about the glimpse they had of the Romulans, what the source of that raging, ruthless violence must be, and about Stiles's folly, and how many might share it. And she thought about her lingering sense of a very different kind of rage, right here on the bridge, far colder and more dangerous.
Jessica, thought S'paak, would never cease to surprise her.

Title: Webpits Roadtrip
Chapter: 1/5
Description:
He keeps concise, with none of the strange flare she normally associates with his demeanor and none of the irrational anger that normally comes with talk of his family. It’s cold, and to the point, “A while back, the dumbass created a sword for my mother. Allowing it back within her ranks is dangerous. We need to destroy it before it becomes something we must more directly account for.” She looks out towards the field of web and rock, the rusted and shattered weapons, and the way a few spiders scutter and dance across the webbing. “So where is it?” She asks him. “Ah. That’s the question,” He turns, a placid looking smile across his face. It’s not very encouraging. His smiles rarely are, “I have no idea.” = Vhaeraun looks for a sword.

Less Talking, More Kissing: Miguel O’Hara x Reader
Summary: You tell Miguel that every time he gets mad at something he has to take you aside and make out with you.
Words: 1.0k+
Warnings: slightly suggestive
Author’s Notes: 100% convinced that if Miguel just got a kiss kiss he wouldn’t be such a dick.
-
-
-
It’s no secret to anyone in the Spider Society that Miguel is an angry man. Understandably so, considering what he’s been through. But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t affect the entire team negatively. His anger often clouds his judgment and his ability to sympathize with others, and you know he’s aware of it. People don’t listen to him when he gets irrational and dramatic, and quite frankly he’s sick of not being taken seriously.
You know it’s partially a side-effect of his mutated DNA, giving him a bit of a feral, animalistic side that’s difficult to fully turn off, but when he comes to you feeling hopeless, you’re more than happy to do what you can. You’ve been together for a long time now, and you’re the one person he fully trusts.
“You’re the only person who can actually keep me grounded, you know,” he mumbles into your neck, cuddling you close on the couch. “How do you do it?”
“Nothing special,” you giggle as his fangs slightly tickle your skin. “I just love you as much as I can,”
“Even when I’m a jerk?”
“Especially when you’re a jerk.”
He groans, adjusting position so he’s propped up above you, “I wish I could just make out with you whenever I get like that. You’re the only one who can calm me down,”
You smirk, “Who says you can’t?”
“You...you want me to do that?”
“Why not?” you shrug. “If I have the power to turn you into a nicer guy, even if it’s temporary, why not let you do what you want with me?”
“Don’t tempt me, love,” he growls, leaning down to kiss you.
“I’m serious!” you push him away playfully. “Just try it tomorrow, okay? See if it works,”
“You’re too good to me,” he grins, leaning back down to capture your lips.
-
It’s not long into the next day before he needs you. He’s alone, glaring at his monitors and getting increasingly frustrated at all the issues rising across the universe. He tells Lyla to send you in, and before you can get a word out to ask what’s wrong, he grabs you and slams you against the panels, kissing you passionately until he gets all the irritation out of his system.
This continues to happen several more times over the next few weeks. At first it’s limited to only times when he’s alone, but eventually it bleeds into times others are around as well. Anytime he starts to get heated in some sort of mission briefing or meeting with people from the Spider Society, he’ll step out to call you and get his fix. People start to wonder why Miguel keeps randomly leaving meetings for 10-20 minutes and then returning completely composed, but none of them are about to complain that he’s gotten nicer recently. He’s been yelling a lot less and is overall a less negative person now, and people are a lot more chill around him now. They don’t feel scared to talk to him, and they’re finally listening to him as much as he wanted.
The day he hears about the newest anomaly on Earth-1610, though, is when his coping mechanism is really put to the test.
You haven’t seen him this angry in quite a long time, as he goes on and on about something involving a spider biting a kid in the wrong universe, and that kid’s actions causing the creation of a dangerous super villain. He tells the newest recruit, Gwen Stacy, to go to that universe and check it out, but to avoid Miles at all costs. She retaliates, due to Miles being a close old friend of hers, but Miguel doesn’t back down. He reminds her once again of what’s at stake and how important it is to maintain canon events, refusing to listen to her point of view.
“Miguel.” you take his hand and pull him aside, waving to the others. “We’ll be right back. Just need to take care of something,”
You take him out of the room and push him into the wall, wrapping your arms around his neck to pull him down to you and kiss him ferociously.
“Mmph-” he grunts. “They just-they just don’t understand…”
“I know sweetheart, I know,” you sigh as he kisses down your neck, lightly biting the skin. “But you really were being a jerk in there,”
“I could’ve been worse. I was holding back,” his hands graze and squeeze down the sides of your body, making your squeak at his strength.
“She’s just a kid, Miguel,”
“A kid who doesn’t know what she’s talking about-”
“Alright,” you cut him off. “Less talking, more kissing,”
He does as he’s told, continuing to kiss every piece of skin exposed. His hands move from your hair to your waist to your legs, and he lifts you up from under them. He turns you around and slams you against the wall, pressing into you while your hands cling to his giant shoulders.
“I need you,” he growls.
“You still have to go back in there eventually, you know,”
“But I haven’t gotten all my anger out yet,” he smirks against your lips.
“How much more do you have?”
“Enough to last all night, sweetheart,”
Your stomach flutters, and you slither your fingers into his hair. You’ve created a monster.
“Hey man,” you hear a voice several feet away. “Can we go home now or what?”
Miguel drops you down and you turn to see Hobie, Gwen, as multiple Peters from the mission briefing staring at you. You both feel your faces grow hot.
“Lyla will finish giving you all the details of the mission and then you can go your separate ways, yes,” Miguel speaks up.
They nod and awkwardly walk away, and Miguel grabs your hand and starts storming down the hall.
“Now they’re never going to take me seriously,”
“You don’t know that. Sometimes showing people you have a soft side actually makes them respect you more,”
“Hmmph,” he grunts, pulling you inside your shared room at the end of the hall.
You laugh, “Still need to get that anger out?”
“You have no idea.”

I HATE when people dumb down Jason Todd “he’s impulsive/irrational/erratic/brash/dumb/the angry robin!”
WRONG
let me break it down for you fools because he’s actually like one of the most nuanced and complex characters to ever bless my presence (and he’s the best ((my fav)) robin argue with the wall) (tldr at the end but please read the post)
Starting out as robin they are ALL orphans. because that’s like bruce’s thing. BUT dick and tim had families before bruce adopted them. Jason did not. HE GREW UP ON THE STREETS. (+10 points for truama✨) which led him to grow up to be independent and resourceful. Bruce literally met him because he was trying to steal the bat mobiles tires with the intent of reverse engineering them to sell to the people of gotham because bullet proof tires in that kinda city would save lives source
As for being brash. Yeah. he is. he lacks people skills because HE GREW UP ON THE STREETS. yet he still knows how to sympathize with people and not be an ass ALL the time. he’s cocky sure but it’s a defensive mechanism after years of being treated like he doesn’t have value/having to prove himself. and damien is worse lets bsffr.
He’s impulsive. (likely adhd) Teenager. next question.
He’s the angriest robin! he only ever wants vengeance! WRONG. dick is angrier! he was so petty he left gotham and got a new identity just as a fuck you to bruce. any anger Jason has is not unmatched or outdone by other robins and he is rightfully angry he’s been dealt a crappy hand in life. he’s jealous of dick because bruce was ALWAYS comparing him and telling heroic stories of dicks feats. it’s hard not to push yourself to be as good as or better than the og and not to crack under said pressure.
He’s dumb! NOPE. he is as smart if not smarter than tim. He is BRILLIANT when he wants to be. (see above: resourceful) if you take titans (cw) as canon (why wouldn’t u its as canon as any other tv show??) he is a GENIUS. he taught himself chemistry so he could invent and mass produce drugs. he had a genius strategy to fuck with the titans; the puzzle of clues for which dick needed scarecrow, kory, gar, and conner to solve. Not to mention him finding doctor light earlier in the season. He leads the outlaws bc he is a natural leader and good at handling the details!!
He’s a villain! OKAY AND? SO WAS HARLEY BUT WE LUV HER !! DAMIEN WAS A TRAINED ASSASAIN! he puts so much effort into helping people (see above: resourceful) HE RISKED/LOST HIS LIFE FOR IT. HE IS FIERCELY LOYAL. even as red hood he obtains a strict moral code; no drugs to kids or by schools, don’t kill innocent uninvolved people(depends on which media you’re looking at). serve karma on a gold platter. unlawful but USUALLY NOT unethical. he also becomes a vigilante (and the JL for a bit) and does so much good! none of them are perfect ALL of the time. and considering the other DC villains, he’s not that evil.
strength?? no problem! he almost beat dick and bruce several times in the comics!! source
not to mention his proficiency for new things (see above: chemistry) his whole time as robin he uses bat tech. but redhood uses guns and knives. he just picked that up and was a skilled marksman immediately. (also truama response after nearly dying to death stroke)
so what hes kinda fucked in the head. aren’t they all? isn’t that… the point? it’s justified after everything he’s been through AND it makes hims a better character, more 3D more realistic and relatable.
also for the sake of this thesis partially disregard the wonderful work of art that is WFA it’s a fixit. for a reason. because the it was broken and needed fixing.
TLDR; you don’t have to like Jason Todd, or think he’s the best Robin, but you have to admit, he is a complex, layered, well written character. And stop mischaracterizing him and dumbing him down to this impulsive, angry, weak kid.
bonus: my Jason playlist

I remember back when episode 4 aired, the way people were interpreting that moment between Agatha and Rio that screeches to a halt when Rio tells her "that boy isn't yours" was that Agatha actually thought Billy might be Nicky, that Rio was giving Agatha her son back, that her seemingly sudden openness to Rio was because of that and then her walking away was because Rio shattered that idea.
But I think it's pretty clear from what we got in the finale that this probably isn't the case. I really don't think that Agatha ever actually thought that Billy was Nicky. She might have had a little irrational flicker of "maybe" in her mind, but it does seem that from the moment she saw that door to the Road appear that she was pretty sure it was Billy, even if she wasn't 100% certain.
So I think that really reframes what was happening between Agatha and Rio in episode 4, and in that moment in particular. It wasn't that she thought that Rio was making amends by bringing Nicky back, it was that even though she knew it almost certainly wasn't Nicky and that as such none of what Rio had done that she was so upset about had changed. It was the fact that the situation, walking the road with this kid (that she'd already had some interaction/connection with), teaching him magic, felt familiar enough that she could sort of imagine. It wasn't her son, it wasn't the road they'd walked in their trials, but it was close enough that, probably without her even realizing it, she allowed herself to slip into this sort of fantasy mindset of what things could have looked like for her if it all hadn't happened the way it did. A headspace that maybe alleviated the pain, temporarily, just enough for her to let her emotional guard down with Rio for a while. To maybe not necessarily forget her pain and anger, but to put her mind back into a space and time when she didn't feel it.
So when Rio said "that boy isn't yours" and Agatha sort of snapped back to her anger and her walls slammed back up, it was because Rio saying that was like her saying "I can see what you're doing". Having the little fantasy she probably didn't even know she was leaning into so much called to attention by Rio shattered that mindset she'd been able to get into that allowed her to let her walls down a bit. And it probably embarrassed her a bit, having Rio see so easily what was going on in her head.
And I think that it's really interesting that Rio saw what Agatha was doing, and even though it was the first time during the whole thing, and probably in centuries, that Agatha started to let her in at all, she shut it down. That's something that episode 8 kind of reframes, too. Because we see in episode 8 that this whole thing, Rio's continued pursuit of Agatha, is just because she loves Agatha, and she wants Agatha to want her again. She almost had that, could have had that, during episode 4. Agatha was finally letting her in. But she shut it down, because it wasn't real, and it wasn't good for Agatha. She didn't want her that way.
I just think that's so interesting, and helps to create such an interesting dynamic between them, that Rio wants Agatha so badly that she pursued her for centuries, sicced the Salem Seven on her, waited for her at the end of the road to torture her, but when this moment came where she could have maybe had her, she didn't take it because she didn't want her that way.
I feel like it also maybe comes from the way Rio sees what happened with Nicky. I think her reaction when Agatha calls her evil when casting the protection spell says a lot about this. She seems offended and even upset that Agatha thinks she's evil, and she knows that Agatha thinks she did something wrong in taking Nicky. I also think the expression that she makes when Agatha says that she gave her nothing, only took, says a lot. It bothers and confuses her that Agatha thinks that because she knows it's not true, she knows that death is just the natural order of things and that she doesn't choose to take anyone, it just happens. So I feel like when you take that with the fact that she did shut down Agatha in that moment, it speaks to the possibility that it's not just that she wants Agatha, but that she doesn't want Agatha to think those things about her. She doesn't want Agatha to think that she did anything wrong in taking Nicky. If Agatha will only be with her when she's in a situation that's put her in this headspace where she's viewing the situation as "fixed" or where her feelings about the blame she's placed on Rio are simply being stifled, then Rio doesn't want that. She wants the reason that Agatha wants her back to be because she recognizes and accepts that Rio didn't do anything wrong.
And I think a part of that does come from what an act of love, in Rio's eyes, giving Agatha more time with Nicky was. As Death, Rio is just a part of nature. She doesn't get to choose when people die how they die, or whether or not she gets to take them. It just happens. She tells Agatha that no other person in history has received special treatment, so she obviously saw bending the rules like she did as an act of love. So to have Agatha turn the whole thing around as some terrible thing that she chose to do probably hurt Rio a lot, and continues to hurt her.
So I think it would make a lot of sense that Rio wouldn't want Agatha in the way it would have happened in episode 4. She wants Agatha to recognize that she didn't do anything wrong and that what she did was an act of love, even if it was a miscalculation.
Which is something that I think adds a really interesting layer to Rio's character and to her dynamic with Agatha.

Angsty angsty headcannons for my favourite men ever :(
Some of these are really long, sorry :(
CW/TW: abuse, depression, anxiety, implied attempted s€w€rsl|de, weight insecurity, head injury, homophobia - I don’t want anyone to feel bad about reading this
* Mel was in an abusive relationship before he met Gretta. His mental health was really bad and, being desperate to feel loved, he got with the first person he could. After the first few weeks, she began to make little digs at things like his appearance or him dancing that eventually grew into full-blown and constant insults. She manipulated him into giving her money and he didn’t argue because he was scared of confrontation. When she started beating him, Mel did nothing because, having never been in a relationship before, he thought it was normal. It wasn’t until one of Mel’s colleagues noticed bruises on him and interrogated him about them that he found out that none of this was normal. Still, he did nothing because he didn’t know what to do. When he met Gretta, he immediately fell for her. After a while, Gretta found out about Mel’s relationship and helped Mel leave his abuser. Since then, Gretta has tried her best to help Mel move on but he still wakes up in cold sweats, remembering what happened to him
* Lon used to be very insecure about his weight - he hated his body and tried everything to lose weight. He was constantly worried that one day his weight would get in the way of his job (even though he was just a bit chubby). His wife having an affair and leaving him only made his self esteem worse because he thought it was because of his weight. It wasn’t until Rachel came along that he realised to love himself and he began to try to lose weight in a healthy way with her supporting him <3
* After his head injury, Ron’s memory was never the same :(. At first, he forgot basic things like his phone number and passwords but one day his kids ran into his room, shouting about one of their birthdays, which he had completely forgot. He felt awful about it all day and decided that enough was enough and he started going to therapy to improve his memory. He sets reminders on his phone a week in advance for his children’s and wife’s birthday so he wouldn’t never forget again but he still feels so guilty about the times he forgot :(
* Peter was so angry at the world after his dad left. He was about to go to university, having worked really hard to get a scholarship, and then his dad up and left, leaving him with the responsibility of looking after all of his siblings and his mother. He had to take a ‘gap year’ where he didn’t nothing but work to provide for his siblings, all the while holding an intense grudge against his dad for leaving. If ever someone mentioned his dad to him, he’d snap at them and he often had random outbursts of anger that turned into sadness. He found every (irrational) reason to blame himself for his dad leaving. Even when he finally got to university, he was constantly worried about his mum and siblings and sent them any money he could. He still hates his dad for abandoning his family
* Thom’s dad is the most supportive man ever but his mum and stepdad are the complete opposite. They were both really christian and openly against gay people. When Thom finally got the courage to tell them, they made him pray for hours before throwing him out of their home and telling him to never come back. After this, Thom had a huge identify crisis and went through a period of trying to convince himself that he wasn’t gay. Peter helped pull him out of this way of thinking and helped him embrace who he is. Thom still tries to contact his mum and stepdad every so often but is met with coldness and homophobic abuse
* I said in a previous post that bullying put Mel in the hospital a lot of times and I wanted to expand on that. Mel, who was just trying to live a happy life doing the things he loved, got viscously bullied for all of his passions. He nearly quit dancing but his parents convinced him to stay. His grades never slipped but he stopped asking questions in class and stopped offering to answer questions. Even after he made himself virtually invisible, the bullying continued and eventually, Mel couldn’t handle it any more and tried to (I don’t know if I can say it on tumblr but you know - I hope) multiple times. Each time, he begged to be taken out of school but the school wouldn’t let him. It wasn’t until he very nearly passed that they took him seriously and let him be homeschooled. Mel still remembers the long nights spent in hospitals being held by his parents, sobbing and begging for the bullying to stop
Sorry about this :(
I’ll try to come up with some happier ones now <33

Hii I have a request for Jamal Musiala, maybe him and the reader get into an argument and he makes her cry and she leaves the house and his all worried and goes out and looks for her (ending in fluff? )
Loved your last Jamal fic 💓
A day to forget - Jamal Musiala
Jamal Musiala x fem!reader
Warnings: None, I guess
Hello! I am so sorry for being late but I am in the middle of my finals.
Hope you like it tho! xx
“Sorry, sorry, sorry...” at this point, he lost the number of times he apologized, “Look, I didn’t mean that, at all. I swear I didn’t-”
“You didn’t? Why did you say it, then?” Your eyes were red of how much you cried. Both of you were in the middle of the salon, of your best friend’s apartment.
(Earlier this morning)
Jamal was angry and furious about everything. The team wasn’t at the best moment and he couldn’t do anything about it, he was distracted and every little thing could irritate him, every single one. Months have passed since you started to live together, however, you were stressed and occupied with your finals.
He just finished cleaning your bedroom, the bathroom and the guest room when he made his way to the living room. He cleaned to distract himself from overthinking, a tip recommended by Goretzka.
He couldn’t believe his eyes when he arrived there. You were sitting on the floor, in front of the table. The computer was in the middle of the table, millions of sheets everywhere; in the sofas, some under the chairs, others in the big table, and two of the were even next to the TV. Moreover, there were two bowls of food next to the computer.
“What’s this?” He asked trying to maintain his calm
“Oh babe, I’m so sorry but I just need to finish this assignment by tonight and I am so stressed, but I promise that I will clean once I finish” You quickly got up and made your way to him
“It seems as if a hurricane has passed” He said in a cold tone
You let out a small laugh as you thought he was kidding, “I promise” you approached him to put soft kiss his cheek, but he quickly turned away from you. It hurt, really, it felt like a stake in your heart, he never refused your hugs, nor your cuddles let alone your kisses
“Jamal...” your voice sounded weak, you hated it but you couldn’t hide it. True, you were occupied, busy and stressed but you weren’t dumb and you knew that he was distancing himself not only from you, from the whole world.
“Why do you have to be so messy? I mean you could study in a more proper way” he said without looking at you.
“Jamal I said I’ll clean it”
“You’re always a mess y/n, you could- I don’t know be more polite, study like a normal person, no need to throw your things everywhere” he still didn’t look at your eyes
You could feel your anger heating up. You weren’t very patient and that’s own of your flaws, however, he was being unfair and irrational.
“Jamal, stop I-” you started to say calmly
“No y/n, you need to be more polite, you are enough old to act like this!” he let out, and you couldn’t believe it
“Jamal seriously you either calm down or this is not going to end well” you tried to look at him in his eyes but no, he didn’t
“I really regret living with you”
That was it. That. Those six words, six damned words.
“I honestly- I don’t even know what to say!” you started and there was no turning back, “if you are going through a bad moment well, I am sorry but I can’t do anything about it! I tried to give you some space and time for you because I knew you needed it, but now, you fucked up so bad… so bad. You don’t have the right to come at me and relief your stress over me, alright? I don’t deserve this… I really don’t!” you screamed releasing the anger from your body “I am leaving to Claire’s, you can clean up this and live with your tidy house” you kicked the sheets on your way and quickly made your way to you shared bedroom
(Now)
“I didn’t want to, okay?” he tried to touch your arm, but you immediately refused “I am just so… I am a mess and I really shouldn’t have said you didn’t deserve it, I was an idiot and I am very sorry”
You looked at him, in his eyes. There he was, there was Jamal, his eyes were full of honesty and repentance
“Forgive me?” he asked with a small smile, and you couldn’t stop yours
“Yes” you hugged him tightly as he kissed your head and your cheeks repeatedly.
“Please, don't cry anymore” he wiped softly your tears
Any comments about my writing are welcome. Thanks for reading!
