So i’ve recently become a little fan of yours from your small, silly tadc comics and im just wondering how you come up with them and generally just how you make them (like how you set up scenes and what not lol). I’m pretty new to procreate and digital art as a whole and wanted some little tips since i’ve sort of hit a wall with trying to make comics digitally.

I'm so glad you've enjoyed the comics - Oh boy so -

How I come up with them: Most of the time I have a central idea I want to explore like 'What If Caine had the Players go through a Grueling Medieval Adventure with a Promise of a REWARD, but the Reward is literally the thing they want least (Princess Caine smooches, anyone?') or 'What if Ragatha was the one to do something Really Bad (descriptive, right?) because It's hard to imagine she, out of everyone there, ever would' .

Most start out super loosely, not super planned out, and with a rough bit of dialogue written down (Not for the Princess Caine one...and you can tell, the dialogue is repetitive and meh, I came up with on the spot lmfao)

As for setting up scenes: Most of the time I very roughly plot out each page/panel/ 'scene', trying to figure out the angle that will give me the emotion I'd like to portray most.

Something as simple as this, I meant to evoke a sort of 'tired, long journey come to a close' sort of vibe with a flat distance shot without detail and sleepy coloration. Almost cozy idk

I purposefully left out Ragatha's facial expressions here and foreword to give a bit of unease in her decision, and angled shots down at Jax to give the impression that he's not in charge here. For once he needs her help. (there's no way he couldn't have climbed that himself tho asdjhdlsdh)

I aLSO only put detail into panels where I wanted to evoke the most feeling. Some panels took literally 5 mins, others a lot longer. Pick your battles!

Not great examples? But both of these I made pretty quickly without too much plotting - just a 'strong' central idea I wanted to explore. I hope that gets the idea across!

Honestly I almost didn't post the Ragatha and Jax one - didn't like how it came out! But I did anyways and most seem to enjoy it, even if it's highly non-canon and a little iffy. (I also didn't plan each 'scene' out, just doodled only enough pictures to get the idea across, it could have benefitted from more but...eh.)

I'd say just GO FOR IT when it comes to comics! Try to get a strong idea or emotion across, it doesn't have to be a super detailed or long comic. Don't worry about how people take it, people have different opinions. The important thing is you learn with every page you post! Look at lots o' references, or just explode colors and shapes over the page (A healthy mix of both, perhaps); sounds lame but most importantly make sure YOU are having fun with this!

okay i did a little searching, since i often don't understand such ship names. if google doesn't lie to me, then the first one is Pomni/Jax, and the second is Pomni/Caine.

damn, I thought funnybunny was the name for Ragatha/Jax 💔💔

i don't ship Pomni/Jax but i find the pairing cute. i don't sense any special dynamic between them, Jax just makes fun of her the same way he makes fun of everyone else because he's a jerk (i say this lovingly). when i discovered that this pairing was the most popular in the fandom, i didn’t really understand why, since i wouldn’t say that there was anything particularly interesting going on between these two. I think the dynamics between Jax and Ragatha were more distinct, which I immediately noticed, they had tension and i really liked it x) but then, after thinking about it a little, i realized why Pomni/Jax is the most popular ship (I guess?? it's just my supposition) — people combined two of the most main characters, one of whom is a badass-tumblr-sexyman, and the second is an angsty ordinary person with whom people could identify themselves. anyway i just find it funny that so many people like this ship. i saved fanarts of these two a couple of times because i thought they were cute. to be honest, kitsch's (@ bunnyjesters/ nuzipilled) works probably influenced my opinion about this ship the most. arts with Pomni and Jax from kitsch is probably my favorite among all the other fanarts for this couple, i think that he well preserves their canon behavior and characters despite the fact that the pairing itself in the cartoon is non-canon, and their interactions in his art feel quite realistic for me! i love how kitsch draws them and how he uses gestures and body language to show their emotions, it's very, very cute. so yeah, i don't ship them, but i do find some of the fanart of them cute. i drew this a while ago, so have this if it will make you happy 🌸

now Kaine/Pomni...ahmmm, to be honest, i was even more surprised that this is probably the second most popular pairing in the fandom? :D apparently it really comes across often and haha, i don’t understand it... i’ve never been interested in the dynamics of student/teacher or employee/boss, in my understanding there can be no romance in their relationship, maximum platonic, family relationships, understanding each other. Kaine is very quirky and doesn't seem like he's interested in romance (i generally like Kaine/Moon, but i really think Kaine is just confused by Moon's behavior since he's not interested in her romantically x)). it's more like he treats all the guys in circus like friends, colleagues or something like that. so yeah, it's weird for me to see romantic stuff with Pomni/Caine, but like the first one, occasionally i might come across fanart with them that i think is cute. once I saw a mini-comic (don't remember the author) dedicated to that circus teaser, in the comic Caine suddenly appeared in Pomni's room. Pomni, out of fear, hits him sharply, after which he got upset and she began to apologize <з

if we talk about my fav ship, i love Ragatha/Jax! i don't remember this "name" for the pairing, but yes, that's them. dynamics like theirs are my favorite dynamic in couples, i just love it when characters can't stand each other lol. i love the tension between them and i'm afraid i paid too much attention to it while watching the pilot... oh my god, a moron, who pisses everyone off, with a good-natured girl, who wants to help everyone, but she has to deal with this asshole. i guess it's the "from hate to love" trope, right? i like that the first thing that manifests itself in such couples is negativity, they just piss each other off and cannot calm down. but after a while the annoying cools down and they begin to open up to each other. ofc i don't know Gooseworks’ plans, but you guys probably thought that Jax is actually not such a jerk as he shows himself to be, and in fact he is a deeper character, with his own traumas and trials? let's not turn this into a tragic sob story, but nevertheless, Gooseworks said "every tadc character has a reason why they behave the way they do" and i believe that we will be revealed that. it seems to me that to some extent Jax and Ragatha can complement each other. Like, you know, it’s like N helps Uzi cool down and be calm, and Uzi helps N to be confident and defend his positions. maybe Jax can show Ragata that her toxic positivity is not the best option and sometimes you need to be tough, and Ragatha can help him open up, share his problems and well...to be less jerk-like. and yes, of course i can't get it out of my head that Jax called her "dollface" while he gave the others rude nicknames haha

also i like Ragatha/Pomni, i probably don’t pay much attention to them, but they're good. there are cute interactions between them and it seems that Ragatha was better than the others in being able to approach her and become somewhat of a friend. Ragatha has this energy of a caring mother or something, so her desire to help Pomni get comfortable in the circus and direct her to positive thoughts is cute. at the same time, Pomni looks extremely confused, but Ragatha is the one she turns to because she seems the most adequate and friendly of the others. i liked to draw how they hug, but in i think that most likely Ragatha would not have allowed herself to hug someone without asking, at least she would have asked permission x) however, it seems to me that physical contact and kind words are Ragatha's way of support, so simply holding hands with her would calm Pomni down

also i like Pomni/Gangle and Gangle/Kinger and i don'tind other ships as well !!

Bugmi can be rather Emotional when it comes to things it enjoys, finding comfort in things like music, acting like a child, and plushies. It can run away from situations it doesnt like, warning signs can go from dissasosiating and zoning out to feeling overwhelmed or too energized. xey get uncomfortable around negativity and often dont like to be told if somethings wrong with someone.

Backstory: As a human bugmi's name was Lylla Linzi. Xe usually spent most of its time hanging out with friends, taking bike rides, or taking random train rides. It was a wanderer, never really settling down, this can apply to relationships, hobbies, and living situations. It usually was shifting with its style and looks, exploring who it wanted to be but never feeling whole or content. The most time xey spent living in one place was when xey lived with xeir dad. One day it was packing up to move away again, it was rather upset and overwhelmed, on a walk to its new place xey saw a flier. xey grabbed it and continued walking. The flier was advertising C&A's opened job position, Lylla called the number on the flier. A few weeks later xey got in, confused by why it was so easy, xey shrugged it off and got ready for xeir first day of work, and xeir last day in the real world unknowingly.

Either way they both find you very funny

They both try to be there for you and give you a safe space to express those emotions you suppress, they understand it will take time and it’s hard to break habits like that but they’re there for you if and when you need them

Jeanist especially will be sensitive to this and I think really dotes on you more than usual when he can sense you’re dealing with negative emotions

It’s good that you are sociable because both of them are also social, but they understand wanting to stick by people you know and are comfortable around

Both of them have a lot of expectations in their lives; the hero society and general public, the demon slayer corps, as well as internal pressure so they understand people pleasing well and might even have those tendencies themselves

They will help you to not do it too much to where you burn yourself out, if you want their help that is. If you just want them to be understanding and love you through it they’ll do that too

Honestly I think they are both so doting and wrapped around your finger they virtually never say no to you. Whatever you want is yours

Y'all I got a TADC oc named Clef

If one word could describe Clef, it would be: Theater. He's extremely loud, boisterous, cartoonishly flamboyant, and will make constant Broadway and musical theater references. They love to put on a show and even sometimes up show others just to show them that he's the best of the best in terms of playing a role in the digital circus. Of course, this personality is most likely from their time before, however the constant references seem to be the only way to comfort them with the fact that they only VAGUELY know where the mentions even come from. He's a very empathetic person as well, able to read people's emotions well and relate to them in a sense

In his non-digital life, they were once a Broadway star. He adored the stage, making musical after musical from side character to the main character. Have you heard of it? They’ve played in it. He was also incredibly open to being themselves, and hoping others would do the same. But in all actuality, he was merely someone who their mother was projecting over. Their mother relished in the fame that her child gave her, but once that was the case and everyone found out, that stardom dropped like a brick. He was quickly forgotten due to more prominent and “relevant” stars, no one willing to give their mother fame- and as a result HE was left in the dust, giving them a bit of an imposter syndrome. Now only doing occasional side gigs, he ended up finding this link on an old hard drive. They wished for ANYTHING to make himself feel better, so with a borrowed VR headset- they went into the world…. A world they’d never awake from

Clef in terms of design was based off of a Dragon City dragon called the Wonderland Dragon

In terms of age, Clef is 34 years old (I do not ship them with anyone in the TADC cast) and he is 5'11''

He's a very expressive character as well! The yellow around their eyes changing color and his eyes changing shape to further express how they feel Examples:

Although I don't have art for it, his main ability is being able to pull a horn out of their stomach mouth and play it with ease- the horn itself being able to sound like just about anything

Pomni: Although sometimes doesn't enjoy how bombastic he is, at the same time they're one of the more 'I guess you're okay' people, but I promise they bond with one another eventually

Caine: Doesn't like having the attention on someone else when it comes to performances, so sometimes Caine does get on their nerves, however overall he's FINE around the ringmaster

Gangle: Father daughter dynamic. Almost instantly Clef practically adopted Gangle due to her love for the arts as well. Although he can't save her from Jax's bullshit, he tries to protect her nonetheless

Jax: Absolute hatred. Not even because of his dynamic with Gangle either, they just HATE "hecklers" and considers Jax as one. Jax's nickname for him is 'maestro' and they really don't like it

Kinger: Literally no thoughts on him. Clef's hardly interacted with the chess piece due to how uncomfortable they find themselves around him. Nothing AGAINST Kinger, Clef just... really doesn't like his eyes

Ragatha: If him and Gangle for the father and daughter dynamic, them and Ragatha are team mom and team dad. They probably get along due to how close in age they are, as well as their people pleaser attitudes

Zooble: He finds them very nice, but Zooble is REALLY annoyed with how Clef speaks and therefore having to deal with them a lot is a bit of a pain in the eyes of the mismatched individual

I'm opening up my art commission's full time for 2025!! I have a lot of free time on my hand so come at me >)

Please DM if interested and send an ask on my page if you have any questions about prices and other details.

There will be a Google Sheet sent to you when the commission is agreed upon to keep track on where your art piece is at.

Q: How does payment work? Do I pay before hand Or After?

A: Payment will be split in half.

The first half of it will be paid at the start of the commission as a type of deposit, when the commission is completed that is when the rest of the payment will be paid.

You can keep track of how much you owe in the google sheet.

Q:How do prices work for adding additional characters?

A: When you Commission a art piece lets say you ask for a Flat Full-bodied with a additional singular character the price will look like this

(The Flat full-body) $75+ (one additional character) $30 = the total of the commission being $105.

Q: What do the $50 Backgrounds look like if I ask for one?

A: When I do backgrounds for that price they will tend to look like this.

Q: How do I keep track of the status of my Art Commissions?

A: A google sheet will be sent to you once the offer has been made final, it will only be sent to you or other artist who have made a commission.

However I will also message you when ever a status is completed and updated.

Q: Do you accept refunds?

A: If I can no longer do the commission, you will be noticed at the time being and I will send back the deposit that was sent at the start.

If you change your mind mid way of progress, I will not be able to give you the deposit back since it counts as time I was spending on for your commission. However if not work was started yet, a refund will be sent out.

Update: Hey guys. After a while I feel a little better, I’ve decided I’m gonna try and do this. So what’s gonna happen?

Well for starters: My previous TADC fanfics are non-canon for now and I’m canceling the continuation of Twig City. I’m not giving up on it or anything I just feel like I jumped into a world with no real plot and introduced characters way too early, so I’m planning on continuing it in a comic form and have a proper introduction. That being said, I know nothing about making comics on Clip Studio Paint so I’m gonna ask you guys for help.

I’m also gonna be working on a Monsterverse fan series, a Smiling Critters fan series/AU, and last but most certainly not least a Helluva Boss fan series/AU (this won’t star any of the major players however).

This stuff won’t be made immediately, I’ll start production on them once I get my own art style that I feel comfortable with.

I haven’t forgotten about it. Production for One Night at Existy’s is going to start as soon as possible.

Yes I’m pretty much biting off more than I can chew, putting all my eggs in one basket, and any other metaphor.

So please if you have any art skills, not just in Clip Studio Paint but in general, please let me know. Also thanks for the support it meant a lot to me.
