Tbh homestuck really isn't that bad at all like you really hear nothing but its horrible reputation but it is actually terrifyingly good and so far from the horrors you would think. Ok actually it is very much the horrors you think BUT in all honesty I am telling you the CHARACTERS and the MUSIC are EASILY the BEST characters and music I have come across in my entire life. These painfully painfully incredible aspects are quite honestly more than enough for me ro completely override any fears you would expect

In honor of the Journey to the West reading group I moderate reaching some particularly violence-laden chapters, I just wanted to take a moment to express both both my wonder at the fact this story has be the base for centuries worth of stories for adults and children, but also my bafflement as to why more horror creators haven't taken advantage of some of the most casually inflicted and mentioned acts of violence and mass death that you'll find in classical literature.
