so she is definitely a star of some kind. i mean she is an angel but in that story in particular The Stars are kind of angels. like they’re otherworldly beings and they jus kinda hang out. cosmically. it’s a different dimension separated from the human one but like, obviously stars still exist for humans, they just don’t do anything crazy because the rules of the world dictate that their realities shouldn’t interact. angels can observe the other world from far up above yet they still exist on a different level. But tbh zavijava had never enjoyed the otherworldly ethereal whatever lifestyle—she just didn’t feel like she fit in there. she is a #1 humans fan though so she knows that’s where she’d fit in. so she does just that. she fits in perfectly :) and normally :) yay :)

Vegeta's never gotten a massage before.

He's not really sore; that's not something that happens to him. And he's always grumpy. And it's not like being tense is new, either, but he just feels...off. And gross. And weird. More out of sorts than usual, and it feels like it hurts, even though it doesn't.

Bulma eventually reaches her Had Enough of His Shit level and orders him to lie down. He knows better than to argue, so he grumbles and fusses, and rolls his eyes, but he does it.

And when she gets deep into working his shoulders, he figuratively goes completely cross-eyed and starts tripping absolute BALLS. By the time she gets to his back, he's become a new class of viscous liquid that introduces novel fields of fluid dynamics. He transcends.

It's not just that she's sitting on his butt the whole time. It's not that she's much stronger than she looks, and maybe all the time she's spent with wrenches and ratchets and stubborn machine parts has done something with those scrawny arms and fragile-looking hands. It's not that he's never been touched that hard with intent to heal. It's not even that it's just her. Maybe it's the combination. Maybe it's something entirely different that's part of his Saiyan DNA. But it's MAGICAL.

When she's done, she peeks in the direction of his face and asks if that's better? He makes A Sound, something between Tuvan throat singing and a Tibetan singing bowl, that reverberates a peculiar resonance in her own being, and her eyes grow round as a winter moon bearing omens.

She puts forth a tentative, "...Vegeta?" and pokes his shoulder. Begins considering a paper on fluid dynamics. Backs away slowly, muttering, "Oh...oh fuck, I broke him..."

Hours later, he blurs past and dashes a, "Thank you, never do that again," in his escape.

Her eyes go gibbous, bearing merely whispers and rumors to accompany a firm, wooden, "Yep," of affirmation. A Pandora's box brimming portents, murmurs of force equations, and fluid dynamics.
