Non-cullable-mutation of the day: TAILS

Well, mostly only non-cullable for indigo and higher, or jades because of their low numbers.

We all know about tails! Mostly flexible appendages on the lower back.

Most commonly seen on seadwellers (though, not necessarily because they have it the most common, if you know what i mean).

Tails, as a part of a troll that is not usually there, can resemble the tail of practically any animal. Though they usually resemble the tails of lusii that commonly take care of trolls of that caste. It seems to be a form of lusii mimicry, to up the chances of getting picked and therefore the chance of survival.

Personal rating: 8/10. Harmless and cute. Especially when they wag!

Hi! Very sorry for answering this ask later than usual! Work got a bit hectic. 😅

Wings are not exactly cullable, but they aren't exactly not cullable either. winged trolls are usually prized for military work and deliveries, but it's still a mutation that might lead some highbloods to violence anyway. 🪽

Surgically removing wings is possible, and actually very easy. And since you can't fly, there's not really any reason to keep them, especially if they cause you discomfort. If you're preban, I can DM you the location of the cavern I work in and I can help you. I have a strict non-disclosure policy about my patients, so there's no need to worry about being culled on my watch. 🏥

Turning my quirk off to send this ask. I'm not a lowblood. In fact, I'm a seadweller (i AM a fighter for the lowblood cause and I've been a main contact for signless followers for a little over 780 sweeps! I'm quite proud of it, they're a very passionate bunch). I do, however, have some... pretty cull-worthy disabilities summed with a few benign mutations, but thankfully I've been able to keep the juicy bits under the covers. Is this a safe space for me as well? I DO need medical help and I'm willing to pay as I'm decently well off. I'd really just like the opportunity of not being judged while poked and prodded for my issues. But i understand if seadwellers are a bit over your patience/willingness level.

No, patternç are a relatively common occurrence in both çea- and landdwellerç, they're conçidered a non-cullable mutation but becauçe of the çtigma around having any çort of mutation people don't uçually talk about having them [^w^]

1. Depends on the person honestly - if it’s someone Chimer likes or at least somewhat knows of, she’ll be flattered and delighted by getting flowers, but if it’s someone she doesn’t know at all or is an anonymous gift she has to hand it over to be tested for poison and to check the species, lol. She always has to be wary of assassination attempts.

2. The best gift for Chimer is more time to spend with her moirail and friends, but that’s kind of hard to do, so in lieu of that she always appreciates a donation to a cause she supports, like lowblood rights or caverns allowing more non-cullable mutations or something like that. If you want to get her something for her personally, she always loves anything duck-themed and a lot of surreal and unusual stuff. 

3. If Chimer gets a gift she doesn’t like she’ll give it to someone she knows would like it or ask her contacts who shelter illegal trolls if one of them would want it. She rarely ever throws something out; she does her best to not be wasteful.

5. I like to think @threetrollsandadryad‘s Ection once probably gave her something really nasty he found in the dump and she had to do her best to thank him and not throw up. HE MEANS WELL. SHE LOVES HER TRASH SON AND MUST SUPPORT HIM. 

7. Chimer once gave @uprising-trolls‘s Sevenn a play production of one of his historical books, the ones about the ancestors that were dangerous for him to even write, and Sevenn pretty much cried.

I just don't want it and don't find anything or any one "sexy" by way of actively wanting to bone down. I also tend to be easier to gross out and push past my limits of what I can deal with in terms of talking or writing NSFW faster than most people, but it doesn't mean I don't enjoy writing or drawing smut from time to time! But if my partner wanted to do something sexy with me, I would probably be obliged to agree.

Xhialo on the other hand really does not like the idea of it, and while he might be inclined to pail with someone if he had to or if someone he was close friends with needed to pail to survive, he would much rather not have sex with anyone. Though again the whole "cullable mutation" thing generally keeps him far away from pailing anyone out of necessity, so he really doesn't have any plot driven "need" to have sex with anyone.]
