"Lestat would get woken up by the macarena" "No he'd get waken up by dubstep" "No he'd get waken up by Call Me Maybe" You fool's. You absolute fools. Lestat is buried/out in the dump of New Orleans, a city that's 60 percent black. He's getting woken up by Back That Azz Up by Juvenile
I wonder what Alastor did for a living before getting into radio. He’s said to have been born some time between 1884 and 1903, and New Orleans didn’t get its first radio station until 1922, so there would’ve been at least a couple years there where he was working in a different field.
This scene right here was so well done. The fact that Aegon is complaining that no one listens to him. The fact that Alicent replies with “those men at your council table earned their seats.” The fact that she sits at the table and Aegon doesn’t.
You know, I’m surprised (well, maybe not surprised, but kind of disappointed) that everyone seems to think Alastor had an abusive father. I’ve always gotten the vibe that his father was just never in his life at all; maybe his maternal grandfather was there, but that’s it for male parental figures in his early life.
