I noticed in other translations of the monster high comic frankie introduced themself by saying they use they/them pronouns and yours didn’t so I was wondering why you excluded that

I didn’t actually exclude anything, Frankie just simply did not include their pronouns when introducing themself! I translated that panel word for word and there was no pronouns, the other translations you have seen likely just added it in because it is something Frankie says in the show and movie in English when they introduce themselves.

I tried to keep things as “in character” in English as I could, like I didn’t call Bloodgood “Miss NoHead” and I tried to keep some of the monster puns, but Frankie simply did not say anything about their pronouns.

They/them pronouns also aren’t a thing in French, I know some people use “iel” (combination of il (he) and elle (she)) but in French there are also more gendered terms than just pronouns. Something that they say in the comic is “nouvelle” which is the feminine version of the word new (referring to Frankie as a new student), the masculine version would be “nouveau”, because the feminine version was used for Frankie I am assuming they are keeping them a girl in the French version but I actually don’t know because in this little 8 page comic no pronouns are used to refer to Frankie!
