Just wanna give a heads up for some of my new followers- there's a lot of potentially triggering posts I don't really tag for. I just never had many followers that it was an issue lol.

That being said if there *are* any triggers you want tagged just let me know and I will do my best to accommodate! I am very forgetful so if it's something that's kinda rare I might not remember to but yeah :')

I had a brainrot about how the Harbingers kept in touch with their s/o when they're away on a mission or just have not seen each other in so long because they were very busy. I thought of FF15 wherein Noct and Luna would have this journal that gets delivered to them back and forth. And now I thought of how the s/o would write from one side of the journal and the Harbingers would reply on the other. When the pages meet at the center, both say "I love you" and that journal gets archived in an enchanted time capsule before they make a new one until it just becomes a series of archived journals. If this was about fragile!reader or poly!reader, this would be even cuter.

This would also be so much more meaningful to Scara when the journals remained untouched after the Irminsul incident and the last page he filled in is, "This is not goodbye as long as you choose to not forget about us." And his s/o replied, "I will always wait for you." And although his s/o was confused about who this mysterious lover is, she oddly believed in the journals so when he returned for her in Snezhnaya...she smiled and did not hesitate to take his hand to start a new life together.

CRYING SOBBING. I just looked up the "Lovers' Notebook" on the FF wiki and I'm in tears, that'd be so cute for the Harbingers and their lover.

For fragile reader I can imagine them writing to the clones on missions in other nations, they get bored really easily there but now they can look forward to you writing them sweet messages in the notebook! They always fight over the journal (unbeknownst to you) and eventually after many rock-paper-scissors (a game you taught them to use to sort out their problems peacefully) they work out an order of who gets to write to you first... they each sign their message off with the name you gifted to them <3

Hehe, for poly reader, the Harbingers would definitely subtly compete with each other over how many notebooks are filled out (hah, [name] definitely likes me more than you, we have more pages filled out) (foolish, quality over quantity. [name] and i have much more fulfilling conversations than your useless prattle.) I imagine each of them has a different design on the notebook to make it even more personalized <3 They definitely read through the old ones while they're during paperwork ;(

For Scara it would be so bittersweet ;( You would be so confused about why you have this stack of journals, one page has your writing, which is oddly lovey-dovey, but you can't remember having a lover... plus, even stranger, the next page is left completely blank. No matter how much you think about it, you can't come to a conclusion other than skipping a page is just weird! You try to forget about it, but some nagging feeling inside you beckons you to read all of the journals you have for some clues, and that's when you realize the lone sentence on the opposite page of your writing - you have absolutely no idea who it is, but your body moves before you can think and you're writing out a response, one that fully welcomes this mysterious presence.

Dream Smut Time:

Noct wakes up in some penthouse suite/or maybe just his chambers in the Citadel in the Crown City, clearly before everything went to shit. He feels a little confused by why there are another's clothing and random things strewn about (including toys that he is trying to ignore seeing). He then goes out to the pool/balcony extension and sees Ardyn, which he really only knows at the Chancellor, hanging about. He then goes out to speak to him, confront him about his confusion. When he does make it over, there are certainly Nocts around the lounging man, in various states of undress and costumes too. Then other people appear around, and some start taking Nocts to use in however they please. Noct can't believe his eyes, before Ardyn pulls him onto his lap and tease and start fucking out here among all the debauchery.

Noctis then wakes up in his room, which is back to normal from the dream.

(If it is just a dream and not Ardyn manipulation.)

managed to write a little bit on my phone while I'm here at my mom's house for the holidays but nowhere near as much as I idly imagined in my head while half asleep adjusting to jetlag this morning. I feel like I had some brilliant ideas at like 4:30am but I think they boiled down to me mentally writing yet another blowjob scene where someone's mouth waters when they're gonna suck a dick. I need some way to ratchet up this tension before the dick sucking happens, which means that I need them to have an actual conversation, alas.

In other news today we had our traditional holiday dim sum feast! I wish I knew the actual names of all the foods we ate because "the sweet fried glutinous rice ball with meat inside" is not a good way to specify any sort of food. In any case my one kid ate an entire order of xiao long bao and an entire order of sesame balls by herself, while the other kid had her own fave, cha siu bao, in much smaller quantity. Thus is the difference between "actively in a puberty growth spurt" kid and "maybe gonna start that growth spurt sometime soon" kid 🥲

(at dinner the active growth spurt kid ate FIVE pieces of the manicotti I made, while I ate two pieces which is the actual serving size. no clue where she packed all that food, she's only like 4'11" and less than 90lbs. Not-active-growth-spurt kid had 2.5 pieces)

since @stxrrbright was curious about sorcerer cat Noctis here is some lore about him...

Noctis & Ignis are talented sorcerers in this verse, Noctis soon discovered he was able to understand the thoughts of animals; especially cats. He ended up finding a spell that allows him to transform into a cat, once in this form he is able to talk much more easily to animals.

Ignis initially thought that he was stray cat when he first came back after using the spell, until he transformed back into human form. He finds him quite endearing as a cat though he has put a collar on him when he goes off on little intrepid kitty adventures, it's quite easy to pass him off as a familiar in that form.

It's not uncommon to find him with a bunch of stray cats, or napping in the sun somewhere; he also is amicable to pets sometimes but don't touch his belly 😂

i know people are tired of versus 13, but i've been thinking about if anything from the trailers will be made relevant to kingdom hearts 4 lately so i want to just dump my thoughts here. also a little bit about the 4 trailer because a certain line is bugging me and i’m going stir crazy waiting for news. like for one "there is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so" was so important that it was in all of the trailers until the direction change and could possibly be mentioned by mom or yozora himself. if maybe "the true figure is still hidden in sleep" is still important with how much sleep still seems to be (sora and yozora sharing dreams but also riku’s dreams and sora’s apparent coma upon arriving in quadratum). strelitzia is the new white-robed figure & it’d be so cool to maybe see a variation of yozora vs strelitzia or even sora vs her:

i kind of feel like maybe the conversation between noct and stella might have been mostly scrapped

i think mainly the parts about a select people being able to continuously see a light in the sky after a near death experience from which they gain power from at the cost of another's life. but the stuff about etro opening the door for the dead and a light shining down could easily become “door to kingdom hearts” related or even related to the meteor shower that happened on destiny islands. maybe worked into the characters we know arriving in quadratum the way kairi arrived on destiny islands.

there’s also the whole “eyes that see the light of expiring souls” and “there are things i just ‘know,’ and i have no idea how.” which i guess could now be yozora being able to go to the final world in his dreams. 

plus an conversation that happens directly after noct talks to stella after their first trailer interaction which boils down to a disembodied voice asking who noct is and him responding that he was going to ask them the same thing. a line added in a later trailer is him saying “goodbye. whoever you are.” which i’m thinking could either be now yozora talking to whoever stole his appearance/whoever told him to “save sora” or completely reworked into his meeting with sora in the final world. i think it’d be super interesting if yozora had spoken to the person who stole his appearance before hand and maybe even become friends before it happened, but i’d honestly be okay if that isn’t the case. it being whoever told him to “save sora” could also lead it to him not knowing who stole his look and that maybe the same person took nameless star’s name.

i’m also wondering if “the heart resides within the soul, which in turn is guided by fate to its rightful place.” and “the choice is yours once more.” form the kh4 trailer is related to yozora saying “if you are who you say, and it was fate that brought us here, then... my path is clear.”

i also wonder if “guided by fate to its rightful place” is more related to yozora or sora, or perhaps everyone who isn’t supposed to be in quadratum and it’s clear that it’s up to sora to decide what to do. sorry if this is all something people have already talked about at length. i just figured i might as well use this tumblr dump my hyperfixation thoughts somewhere.

There's a sly glint in Pryna's eyes as she comes closer and sits, and her happy panting is a little too smug as Lunafreya approaches her. Umbra can see her tactics already, the way she’ll take advantage of his absence. Extra pets, extra treats! Opportunist! Scoundrel!
