list of young actresses of color who deserve to have more recognition and opportunities as actors like Florence Pugh, Anya Taylor-Joy, Kathryn Newton, Millie Bobby Brown etc. It would be refreshing to see more of these talented and underrated actresses of color
*Note, the list consists of actors born within the mid 90s-2000s. This might not be a complete list so whoever sees this is welcome to add more actors that I missed. I might update this post from time to time
This list has gotten so long that I have to make a separate one for male actors of color
Rachel Zegler-(she deserved way better than the hate over snow white)
Tumblr media
Lana Condor-(aside from x-men apocalypse and the to all the boys trilogy, she hasn't done much blockbusters compared to Noah, despite her being the lead in the latter films)
Tumblr media
Dominique Thorne-(She has her Ironheart and deserves more opportunities, both in the mcu and outside)
Tumblr media
Halle Bailey
Tumblr media
Maitreyi Ramakrishnan
Tumblr media
Lola Tung-(same example with Lana, pretty jarring how her male co-stars are getting work beyond the summer i turned pretty and yet there's nothing from Lola)
Tumblr media
Ashley Liao
Tumblr media
Megan Suri-(another cast member from Never Have I Ever who also deserves all the opportunites)
Tumblr media
Joy Sunday-(Bianca from Wednesday, deserves as much love as Emma Myers)
Tumblr media
Iman Vellani-(Ms Marvel/Kamala Khan herself, deserves to have a thriving career and be as big like Tom Holland)
Tumblr media
Ayo Edebiri-(2023 was a big year for her, hopefully it continues and she's not overlooked or overshadowed by her white co-stars in The Bear)
Tumblr media
Savannah Smith-(Carried the gossip girl reboot, she deserves to have as much recognition as Leighton and Blake did after the original Gossip Girl series)
Tumblr media
Madison Reyes-(Julie and the Phantoms deserved better than to be cancelled after one season and with a cliffhanger. Let her star in a musical and or disney film)
Tumblr media
Simone Ashley-(One of the main leads in Bridgerton yet Phoebe and Nicola have more upcoming projects than her in Hollywood)
Tumblr media
Charithra Chandran
Tumblr media
Arsema Thomas
Tumblr media
India Amarteifio
Tumblr media
Madeleine Madden-(Carried season 2 of The Wheel of Time and if you watched the whole season, you'll understand why)
Tumblr media
Moses Ingram-(Did not deserve the hate over the Obi Wan Kenobi series)
Tumblr media
Minnie Mills-(She deserved to appear in season 2 of The Summer I Turned Pretty)
Tumblr media
Amrit Kaur
Tumblr media
Alyah Chanelle Scott-(it's frustrating that both the main leading ladies of color are overshadowed by Renee Rapp and Pauline, who's related to Timothy)
Tumblr media
Letitia Wright-(Pretty jarring how she's been in plenty of mcu projects yet it's easy to count the number of roles she's been in outside the mcu, and has been acting since 2011, longer than Florence Pugh, Anya Taylor Joy and Millie Bobby Brown. Wright has even acted as long as Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams and they've been in more projects than her)
Tumblr media
Yasmin Finney-(She's done both Heartstopper and Doctor Who)
Tumblr media
Imani Lewis-(First Kill deserved better than being cancelled after one season. Let her do more horror and supernatural themed
Tumblr media
Leah Jeffries-(Deserves all the support especially once the Percy Jackson series comes out)
Tumblr media
Auli'i Cravahlo
Tumblr media
Erin Kellyman-(After the Han Solo film, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Willow, let her appear in more sci-fi and action blockbusters)
Tumblr media
Sadly, tumblr has a 30 limit on adding gifs. I definitely missed so many on the list. Anyone is welcome to add more to the list. All of these talented actresses deserve all the love, appreciation and more opportunities and roles
I might do a part 2 which will include male actors

*Dates approximate based on press photos
Now, I don't work in anything film related, though I do know a decent amount about how daytime soaps film from actor interviews and they've talked about differences in primetime vs daytime filming. I believe primetime shows more usually film in order. So, we'd still have episodes 1-8, but then they filmed 15 (which I believe was originally supposed to be 9 anyway), 12, 13, 14, 9, 10, 11. Obviously they haven't released much for the final three episodes of season 1, so we can't know where those would slot in until they release photos.
Crew Week has the least released press photos with only 11, which would go with the re-shoot theory since most other episodes have 30-40 photos released and we know there was supposed to be baby talk in this episode (from the winter break preview), which I personally think got cut (cause Avery's not pregnant anymore) and replaced with that early scene of Max and Avery talking about the drink and him leaving the ship for a while. Shark Attack! only has 22 photos, leading me to believe that episode received some re-shoots/cuts as well, since I believe that was originally supposed to be the season finale before they got the full season pick up.
It's also interesting to me that photos from episodes 11, 12, and 13 don't feature the main Odyssey cast as much and instead focus on the guest stars for those episodes (Angela Basset (911 crossover), Donna Mills, Shania Twain, Jaclyn Smith, Kathryn Newton, Ava Phillippe, Paris Jackson, and Noah Beck). Which, fair, those are some big guest stars, but also not the main draw of the show overall. Episode 13 (Spring Break) has the most photos of any episode so far with 80+.
I could also be completely wrong about everything and just spent way too much time looking at photos and dates for absolutely nothing. Oh well. Anyway, I need more than just 18 episodes of this show, ABC please renew it.

So, I've watched this weeks Emmerdale episodes for the first time since early 2020, and here's my thoughts. Positives first.
I still absolutely adore Jimmy, he's wonderful and I'm glad he's still there. Him at Home Farm this week was really funny to me.
It was really nice to see Charity and Cain again, and that they haven't really changed.
Kim seems to have mellowed a bit, which I'm liking. (Maybe just this week of eps though, who knows?) Sam's also still a sweetheart.
There was one Aaron scene this week which firstly, felt chucked in to a week it didn't belong (literally, no other mention of him or the storyline), and secondly just had this really weird feeling. Like Aaron wanted the floor to swallow him? Idk, we all know Danny is a great actor, so I'm assuming this is direction and intentional and it's for a point. But, you know, one scene, so.
I really dislike who's living in the Mill (Caleb and co? Idk the names) I just get a really boring vibe from the lot of them and want them to kindly fuck off. Also, why TF is Ross there? Can't stand him. They're the only characters (right now) that I hate.
(A me issue, rather than a show issue) It's really odd to see the kids Noah, Gabby etc as adults now.
Another me problem. Iain Maclouds name is back on the credits, which terrifies me. Last time he had creative control... well.
The credits! I wanted them changed the last time I was watching in 2019 and they're still the same!
So, when exactly am I meant to start paying super close attention again?

ooouuuuu izzy i have so many thoughts about izzy within dramaturgy. so many
so im gna keep it a little nebulous here bc again im not entiiirely sure what im keeping/changing within WT, but this is smth fun i want to cover
to rehash another post: noahs behavior, his detachment, comes off to izzy as a kind of strategy. actors recognize actors or something and she does goes on to become one. she can tell hes compartmentalizing. this could also serve as a kind of reason for her to be so eager to swap teams, but again she sees how he flaunts his worst and gets voted off basically unanimously.
^ her intrigue in his lacking and finding out it wasnt in fact a strategy to further himself in the game, could also serve for why she picks him to team-up with in tddddi.
okok, so beginning this at the end to the tddddi special, i established in the post covering it that izzy basically drags noah into the water with her, thus making him apart of the action cast (that is, as an additional competitor and not actually replacing anyone). izzy sees this as an opportunity to learn more about noah, since he has to compete, right?
but come the time theyre on their way to the film lot, noah is nowhere to be seen. and izzy learns though being eliminated that somehow hes apart of the peanut gallery and not the cast.
< i imagine that her hearing about the [*]lawsuit courtney filed would make her think that maaaybe it has something to do with why he wasnt on the show.
and its izzy. shes been intrigued by him from the start and come finale she has every intention of seeking him out after the show if only to satiate her curiosity. only noah is nowhere. nowhere. and nobody knows anything either!
[*learning at the award ceremony/red carpet event that noah was working as chris' PA confirms this to her, for behind-the-scenes-adjacent reasons that im going to get into in this next section]
so noah has his whole disappearing from the public thing post-action, but he isnt the only one who goes on to do something notable after the show: izzy, for one, has an acting career.
and its shown explicitly that izzy is someone with a small-scale example of 'discipline/punishment' in her on-set freakout. she, unaware of the cameras still rolling, blows up in a manner that is made severely public and therefore completely dashes her livelihood and reputation.
this, in tandem with the fact that her even being an actress puts her just behind noah (and s2 geoff and bridgette but ill cover them later) in terms of former contestants getting close to Behind The Cameras, meaning that izzy has had a taste of both contestant-ship and employment (which are wildly different), alters her view on noah drastically.
and after having lost her career, it makes something abundantly clear about why and how noah behaved on camera --- being, this is the kind of thing he's trying to avoid.
and even coming back to the offhand ideas of sierra embodying the casts 'punishments' (as seen in the rb chain really kickstarting this au), theres izzy.
she meets sierra and the obsessive way she rewatches the show and picks it apart, and it confirms to her again why noah separates himself so heavily. and its not like its her speculating; noah is the one cast member that sierra knows nothing about.
^ hes just... so little. he has no audition tapes for her to reverse engineer his name or school from, no bonus clips, nothing useful in his interview, no cast anecdotes. compared to the sheer amount she has on everyone else -- she has a relative guess at his age and height just comparatively to the rest of the cast, but nothing concrete beyond his first name.
not even mentioning how he's completely disappeared socially. nobody in the cast has any contact info, no one knows his whereabouts -- hell, is this guy even alive? does he exist? was he a collective figment of the casts imaginations or something?
^ coming back to izzy; she picks up rumors about the rest of the cast and helps sierra run her mill. but theres something so distinct about the ones pertaining to noah -- unlike the others, based around paparazzi photos and interviews and gossip sites and behaviors from On The Show, his are just... there. they're so inherently baseless they might as well be worthless.
as far as izzy can tell, reality TV as a machine has chewed everyone up and spit them out to try and break themselves catering to the whims of the Public, and the only one whos going unseen is noah.
im sure this means something important and focal to their dynamic as teammates in WT, but i havent worked out everything for that season so i cant say definitively what it would impact.
you could spin it so izzy and noahs dynamic (and to some extent with both being Pieces in the Business giving them vague history/shared experience) is much more focal to the overarching story and his character growth as a whole and keep her in the game longer, or just have her influence his motivations to a much greater degree.
idk!! not entirely sure on that front, but izzy having that small-scale example of what 'being unaware' can do is pretty interesting in the context of this au!!

My most controversial take is that I have a bit of sympathy for Fillie stans. Kinda, hear me out.
It probably really sucks for your 2 favorite actors who were clearly close friends for a long time (they were idk why some say otherwise) to just suddenly seem like they don’t Fw each other anymore. Just thinking about how some foah people get when Finn doesn’t mention Noah’s name or like his Instagram posts but times 1000x. With clear evidence that something negative changed in their relationship. Same with Millie’s other friendships with like Sadie and Noah. It’s probably sad for them and I think at least the majority of them are teenagers so I give them some grace. The only thing I don’t like about them and that sets them apart is how they take the content drought, constantly making edits of them from 8 years or ai stuff and tagging the actors in it. There’s other ways to go about it. Rant over :)
Hmmmm. I think it's very mature and kind of you to think this way. It's honestly something to think about, healthy to put yourself in the shoes of people you fundamentally disagree with - and not to say one must try to adapt to their thinking, but to understand and have human empathy, and see the other side to compare and contrast and even strengthen your own beliefs through alternate perspective, and you probably will come out of it with much of the same feelings, but at least you've considered a human angle.
And we don't have to exactly sympathize - and I don't think I do for the most part. But in theory, I can see some threads here I do have a human empathy for. First - yeah. A lot of these people are young. I don't know when they started getting into the show or the actors but I've seen profiles of people who are into it and get struck with an ohhhhh that's a 14 year old, that's a teenager. And it's difficult because I stop and think - yall were in like, kindergarten when this show first came out. And the version of the actors yall focus on are the ages you might be now and they have moved on, a decade moved on. They've grown up. Everything you romanticize is so far removed. It's so weird.
So to me it's like... when did these Mileven or more importantly, Fillie fans get into this? Are they people who have stanned those actors for the last decade and can't move on? Adults my age or older now? These actors are grown, they're living their own lives, they don't even spend time together. At that point, I don't really feel bad because it's not healthy to insist upon this deep of a removed reality.
People might call Foah fans hypocritical for strongly believing in some narrative and hmmm the difference is several:
-Neither Noah or Finn are in a high profile MARRIAGE to someone else. It's not like most Fillie fans are just shipping to say they like the dynamic - they genuinely think it's something. If Finn or Noah got into a heavily public relationship with someone else I'm not gonna waste my time pretending there's conspiracies etc. Will I still think the two of them together is a hot image and enjoy the things we've talked about here? Wistful for earlier ponderings? Yeah, I would have had fun and I'm attracted to them both, but it's not conspiracy territory.
-Another point - I think RFP is totally fine, even when the two people involved aren't together or could be together. Controversial - but it's true. If Finn or Mille wanted to log on to Wattpad or AO3 and search their names, THAT'S ON THEM. If Finn or Noah wanted to log onto Tumblr and search for content about themselves THAT'S ON THEM. Twitter and Instagram and tiktok just fundamentally work different. The way the websites are designed boost EVERYTHING potentially public, it's the kind of service that does that. And everyone tags everything, tooooo many people WANT the people the content is about to "notice it" which I can't say I love that concept if it's outside their fictional characters.
So I don't sympathize with the hyper public RFP adventures for any of the actor combinations in this show. Not when people make that too visible. Could it be youth, could it be immaturity? Most definitely and I do in a way feel for people who don't know any better and are hostile to critique of their behaviors.
Like I said and you said - there are other ways to go about it, but in the age of this type of social media, it's like you need to be visible or it's not worth doing. If people were a little quieter about it and didn't harass others and maintained the reality of situations (and stopped making ugly as all fuck unethical AI slop art) it wouldn't be so controversial and contentious, just something we all could side eye and complain to our friends about...

I have a question about the Great Gatsby musical and you appear to be the resident expert, so where is Nick? Does the main character of the book not exist in the musical? All the promotional material is just Jeremy Jordan and Eva Noblezada but objectively the book has a third guy, so where is he??
a very good question lol
this got way longer than i think you were asking for, so the tldr is that yes he absolutely is there. his lack of showing up in the promotional material is due to jeremy and eva being a marketing draw far more than it is indicative of his presence in the show.
-
the main reason the promotional material is like that is because, while noah j ricketts, the actor playing nick, is incredible, he's not a Big Name like jeremy and eva. he's not gonna get bitches like me flying across the country.
he is there for the majority of the show, though, and he's excellent!
but it's not his pov like the book. and that's probably what the biggest criticisms of the show boil down to- he's still the protagonist, but he's not the main character. (that's arguably true in the book as well, but not nearly as much.)
which i agree with, to a large extent. while it's not as gatsby and daisy focused as the marketing, the amount of scenes without his point of view does make the social commentary take a back seat at times to the romance. it is a LOT better than it was at paper mill, though, from what i've heard, for what that's worth. (i typed and deleted a whole essay elaborating on why that is lol)
when they do commit to nick, though? i love it, and i will be much more vocally unwell about him when we get the cast album and i can chew on his songs. i'm not saying the songwriters understood the assignment for him better than the book writer, but i'm not not saying it.
at the end of the day, yeah, the show could benefit from more nick, but he is for sure there and wonderful.

Noah Mills is ready to go back to work!
Following the official end of the SAG-AFTRA strike, the NCIS: Hawaii star is ready to make his return to the Big Island and spring into action -- literally.
"It's all pretty quick now, I think," Mills tells ET's Kevin Frazier via Zoom in Los Angeles. "Tentative like Dec. 4. We start shooting, and you know we have such a great crew and such a good machine over there going from the first two seasons that we can be up pretty quick."
He adds, "Everybody's really excited. And just super grateful to be able to go back to this fantastic job. NCIS Hawaii, that's my fam. Right now, I miss my castmates, miss making the TV, the episodes. I know we have amazing stuff written for the season. Time to not leave the fans hanging. Get some episodes out."
The 40-year-old action star says that he found out the exciting news while walking his dog, and knew as soon as SAG made the official announcement, it was real.
"I got the call from my manager, and he was like, 'Hey, it's over.' I was like, 'Oh, really? I gotta wait to see it to believe it.'  Then SAG announced it," he shares. "I gotta give a lot of respect to the crews and stuff. That's hard. I haven't been a member of the union that long, this has been my first union strike. It was really interesting to see the solidarity, what that means and also sharing in that, because we all have our different guilds. I know a lot of those guys were going through it kind of before us. So I was very aware of that. And just, you know, wanna give them a big shout-out and make it up to you guys, you know, get back."
Getting back to work means making sure he's in shape. Mills says that he's been staying in the gym during his time away from work and is ready for whatever stunts he has to do.
"I'm so excited," he tells ET. "I'm so excited for that because it's a big part of our show. I think they want to amp that up a little bit. I think the action and the island and the water work, and everything that people like. I think there's plans to do a lot of that. So I've stayed ready."
He adds, "We have a fantastic stunt team out there, too. So I trust those guys with my life, literally, when you're hanging from a carabiner and doing stuff. I'm excited to see what they have drawn up for us."
Joining Mills and the rest of the NCIS: Hawaii fam in the new season is LL Cool J -- who starred as Sam Hanna on NCIS: Los Angeles for 14 seasons.
"Are you kidding me? I'm so excited," Mills says about the superstar's addition to the cast. "I'm like, really, I'm gonna be, you know, sitting out with LL Cool, J. I got to work with him on the NCIS crossover The Mothership. He's so cool and just has such a strong presence and is an experienced actor. I mean, he was telling me stories, that guy was going to Studio 54, when he was 16 in New York. He's done it all. So I'm so excited. And you know, he's just like one of those people who's really interested in me and what we're like over in Hawaii. We got a heavyweight coming. So it's gonna be great."

Hello everyone!
Today I'm going to talk to you about a series that disappointed me, but I'll come back to it later. It's a police series that aired on NBC between February and May 2019 and that only had one short season because it was canceled after its broadcast. Produced by Ken Woodruff, I'm going to talk to you today about the series The Enemy Within!
To start, as always, a little synopsis: In 2015, Erica Shepherd is the deputy director of operations for the CIA. When Russian terrorist operations leader Mikhail Vassily Tal threatens her daughter Hannah, Erica is forced to reveal the names of four agents who will be killed. Erica is then arrested by FBI agent Will Keaton and sentenced to 15 consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole. Three years later, Tal strikes again and Agent Keaton is ordered to break Erica out of the maximum security prison where she is locked up so she can join the hunt for Tal and his growing network of spies. And a little technical presentation: - Created by: Ken Woodruff - Music by: The Haxan Cloak - Main cast: Jennifer Carpenter, Morris Chestnut, Raza Jaffrey, Kelli Garner, Cassandra Freeman, Noah Mills.
As I said above, the series was canceled after its first season and unfortunately, the stories built during this season have a botched aftertaste, so much so that they were treated until the end... But I will still try to present this story to you.
PLOT
The series follows an FBI team led by Will Keaton -played by Morris Chestnut (Rosewood)- during his hunt for the Russian terrorist Mikhail Vassily Tal. On the orders of his superiors and against his will, Agent Keaton receives help from Erica Shepherd, a former CIA agent convicted of treason against her country -played by Jennifer Carpenter (Dexter). Indeed, when four FBI agents were assassinated -including Agent Keaton's girlfriend, Erica had been convicted because she was suspected of being an undercover agent on behalf of Tal and of having leaked the names of these agents.  It is therefore understandable that Agent Keaton does not want to collaborate with her and does not trust her at all. Nevertheless, he still admits that Erica Shepherd's knowledge of the case and her skills as a CIA agent are crucial in capturing the terrorist.
CASTING
Unfortunately, although the basic subject of the series could be interesting to develop and the two leads are used to police series, the development of the subject remains too superficial and the acting rings false during most of the interactions, especially between Keaton and Shepherd. The rest of the main cast - Raza Jaffrey (The Serpent Queen, Homeland, Code Black), Cassandra Freeman (Luke Cage, Atlanta) and Noah Mills (NCIS: Hawai'i, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier) is not left behind in police series and despite everything, I do not know if the lack of credibility of the casting is only due to the script. No real alchemy seems to have been created between the characters or between the actors, and this makes many of their interactions hollow.
We have to wait until the fifth episode (out of 13!) before seeing any semblance of gripping action. And even then, the feeling fades very quickly….
PRODUCTION
But I think what bothered me the most about all this is that I felt like I was watching a bad reboot of The Blacklist. It's a show I'm writing about so I'll tell you more about it then but overall, the story tells the story of Raymond Reddington -played by James Spader-, who was the FBI's most wanted criminal, and his work with the FBI after his surrender to help them capture other criminals thanks to his blacklist. The ins and outs of the story are more complex than this simple paragraph yet the parallels are still quite easy to make. And the show dates from 2013 and was also ordered by NBC!...
I can't say if it's a coincidence or if it was indeed an inspiration that served for The Enemy Within, but I couldn't stop my brain from comparing the two. And it wouldn't have been the worst if the series had been able to reinvent itself and move away from The Blacklist, but  unfortunately that wasn't the case for me. Whether it is the use of a criminal as a key to dismantling other criminal organizations or the relationship between this criminal and their child, the stories overlap too much and sorely lack originality. And I think that, unfortunately, even a person who has not seen a single episode of The Blacklist and who does not know the story of it- would still have difficulty getting hooked on the story and the characters as everything is cold and almost caricatural in the writing. None of the characters are really given much depth in their story, even the two main roles who, despite the few details we know about them, do not emerge more than as simple extras and not stakeholders in the story that is being told to us.
MUSIC
Not having much more information to give you about this series and no more constructive opinion, I will simply leave you with the link to the soundtrack of the series which, for the pieces listed, is rather nice although not extraordinary either. I advise you in particular to go and listen to the pretty piano minuet on episode 6!
CONCLUSION
That's it for me! I am sorry for the quality of this article but even though I watched everything, I did not feel more invested in the story and for once, I understand why the series was canceled after only one season. I am disappointed because, having seen Dexter and Rosewood, I expected a lot more from the two headliners, and I was left wanting more. But the failure of this series is not only their fault, so do not ignore them if you see them cast on other programs!
In the meantime, as every week, I wish you great viewings and I'll see you next Friday!
Eli

It’s almost hard to believe, but the NCISverse reaches quite the milestone with the April 15 episode of the mothership, and to celebrate that, Entertainment Tonight put together NCISverse: The First 1,000.
The special both looks back at the very beginnings of NCIS—introduced as a two-parter on JAG—as well as the spinoffs that already exist, and ahead to the 1,000th episode itself and the two new shows still to come (the prequel Origins and the not-yet-titled Tony and Ziva series set in Europe). NCIS is currently in its 21st season and Hawai’i its third. Sydney is coming back for a second. Los Angeles aired 14 seasons, while New Orleans ended after seven.
Below, we’ve rounded up all the fun reveals from the special.
Cast’s Most Shocking Moments
Over the years and across the shows, there have been some unbelievable moments, from deaths to big relationship steps to major returns. And just like fans, the stars have the ones that surprised them the most.
Both Sean Murray (McGee) and Brian Dietzen (Dr. Palmer) name Kate’s (Sasha Alexander) death at the end of Season 2. “No one saw it coming—except if you go back and you look at the actual footage, you see Michael Weatherly [flinch] before she gets shot because he knows a burst of blood is about to hit his face,” Dietzen adds.
Tumblr media
CBS
Rocky Carroll (Vance) says his character’s wife being killed off, while Noah Mills (Jesse) points to Tennant (Vanessa Lachey) getting her arm broken in the Hawai’i Season 2 finale.
For Diona Reasonover (Kasie), hers is probably the same as many fans’: Ziva’s (Cote de Pablo) return in the Season 16 finale after she’d been presumed dead. “They didn’t tell me. I found out with America, and boy was I surprised,” Reasonover recalls. “I literally pulled the script up on my phone and was like, ‘That’s not supposed to happen.’”
Mark Harmon Made It All Possible
ET‘s Kevin Frazier, who hosts the special notes, “None of it would have been possible without the distinguished service of this man, who seemed to know right from the start just where the series was going.”
Gary Cole, whose Parker has taken as team leader following Harmon’s Gibbs retiring to Alaska, says, “He’s the reason the show got on the air, pure and simple. Solid movie career going. He was a go-to series lead actor.”
Weatherly (Tony) recalls the first thing Harmon said to him: “‘You eat lunch with the crew.’ And it wasn’t a question.”
In a 2003 interview, shown during the special, Harmon said, “This show will work as a team or go down as a team, and that’s how I’ve always looked at it.” (We’ve seen how true that is over the years with the various cast changes.)
NCIS‘ Early Days, Starting With JAG
Weatherly notes that he did over 300 episodes of the mothership (he’ll be returning in the upcoming Paramount+ spinoff about Tony and Ziva) and what stuck with him from his first day on set. “In the middle of my first paragraph, [creator] Don Bellisario walked onto the set and said, ‘What are you doing, modeling? Don’t just stand there. Surprise me! Entertain me!’ and I just changed my simple thing, which was I didn’t care who found me entertaining. I just entertained myself, and I’ve been doing that ever since.”
Two JAG Season 8 episodes introduced the characters of Gibbs, Tony, Ducky (the late David McCallum), and Abby (Pauley Perrette), who would go on to be part of NCIS. They were joined by Robyn Lively as Vivian Blackadder, who didn’t make it to NCIS—and is the role that Jennifer Aniston had been considered for. (Harrison Ford, Alec Baldwin, Kevin Bacon, Andrew McCarthy, and Patrick Swayze‘s names were all brought up to possibly play Gibbs.)
Harmon reveals that his character almost had a different name. “I read Leroy Jethro Gibbs and I said, ‘Wow, I like that name.’ Then for a brief second when I’d decided I really liked the idea and the project, the name changed. All of a sudden it was Bob Johnson or something like that,” he shares. “I just went, ‘What? No, it’s gotta be Leroy Jethro Gibbs,’ and the creator said, ‘No, you can’t play a guy named Leroy Jethro Gibbs.’ I said, ‘Why not?’ Then it went back, so I was happy about that.”
Originally, NCIS was pitched as Law & Order in the navy, half case and half courtroom, according to Frazier. But the investigation part tested best with audiences, who were also impressed with Harmon.
“Because it was two episodes of JAG, it wasn’t really a proper pilot,” says Weatherly. “And even when we started airing, they called it Navy NCIS, which is Navy Naval Criminal Investigative Service. You can’t make that up.”
Remembering David McCallum
NCIS Season 21 paid tribute to McCallum and his character with its second episode, which saw a surprise return from Weatherly, reprising his role as Tony. “That was a very emotional day, seeing everybody,” Weatherly says. “Not a dry eye on that set.”
According to Carroll, “David McCallum was 70 years old when the series started, 21 years ago. And the story goes he told his wife, ‘I’m 70 years old. What if this show goes seven years? That’s a long time.’ And he ended up being with the show for 20 seasons.”
What’s to Come in Episode 1,000, Prequel Origins & Tiva Spinoff
First of all, the good thing about the ever-growing franchise is that characters from shows that ended could easily come back; LA‘s LL COOL J is currently recurring in Hawai’i Season 3. Eric Christian Olsen (Deeks on LA) does point out in the special, “I’ve always said that Marty Deeks ain’t dead. I think there’s plenty of room for these characters to come back.” And Harmon acknowledges that he’s asked “a lot” about returning.
Harmon is returning to the franchise, in a way—as narrator and executive producer on the prequel Origins, following Gibbs beginning in 1991 as he starts his career as a newly minted special agent at the fledgling NIS Camp Pendleton office where he forges his place on a gritty, ragtag team led by NCIS legend Mike Franks.
“I think seeing Gibbs coming up as a young guy is going to be fantastic,” says Murray. Weatherly suggests, “maybe Mark Harmon can play Gibbs’ father.”
As for the Tony and Ziva spinoff coming to Paramount+, they’ve been raising their daughter, Tali, together. When Tony’s security company is attacked, they must go on the run across Europe, try to figure out who is after them, and maybe even learn to trust each other again so that they can finally have their unconventional happily ever after.
“Cote de Pablo and I are also getting ready. Moving to Budapest for the summer of 2024, and it is Tony and Ziva now trying to raise their tween daughter and save the world. What could go wrong?” Weatherly asks. “We’re incredibly happy to be making something for the streaming platform because it gives you a little bit more latitude and shooting overseas.”
But first, there’s the 1,000th episode of the franchise, NCIS‘ “A Thousand Yards,” NCIS comes under attack by a mysterious enemy from the past. Also, Vance tries to mend fences with his estranged son by explaining why, despite the ongoing dangers of his job, he still chooses to stay at NCIS.
“All of NCIS is suddenly put under attack, so now you get to see NCIS: Hawai’i, NCIS: LA, NCIS: Sydney coming in to help,” teases Katrina Law (Knight). We already know Lachey and LA‘s Daniela Ruah (Kensi) are guest starring.

Here they are. Say hello to my new babies
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Face Claims:
Noah Schnapp -> Henry Theodore "Theo" Waters
Finn Wolfhard -> Jacob "Jake" Elliot Dernier
Joe Keery -> Steven James Hill
Charlie Heaton -> Adam Christopher "Chris" Waters
Maya Hawke -> Carly Isabelle Mills
Natalia Dyer -> Thalia Grace Haylen
Fun Facts:
Theo and Chris are brothers. Their the great grandsons of James Montgomery Falsworth one of the howling commando, who fought alongside Steve Rogers and Bucky Branes.
Jake is the great grandson of Jacques Dernier, who was also part of the howling commando. He was named after him.
Steve is a attampted clone of Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes. He was created in secret by a corrupt SHIELD scientist and his team. He is the result of an attempt to recreate the DNA of Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes, which they wanted to use to create an army of Super Soldiers. He was named after Steve and Bucky by the scientist just like the other attempts who didn't survived. When SHIELD found out about this experiment they ended this immediately by shutting down the lab and imprisoned those responsible. They took Steven to the SHIELD HQ, where he was eventually adopted by Maria Hill. Because the scientist didn't used the real DNA of Steve and Bucky but one that was created by himself he's not an exact clone of both of them and doesn't really shares the same DNA as them. He was about 10 when he was adopted by Maria. Later he became a trainee for SHIELD before he joined the young Howling Commando to keep an eye on the other kids.
Chris and Steve are best friends. Through Steve him and his brother Theo joined the team too.
Thalia and Carly are also best friends and classmates of Steve and Chris. They joined the team after Chris and his brother and were invited by Steve and Chris.
To be continued...
Side Info: The idea of Steve being a clone is from zimnyayavdova. At first I planed to make him just some guy who happened to be part of the team and who was a trainee from SHIELD. But then she pointed out that he kinda looks like the clone of Steve and Bucky and that he could have been adopted by Maria Hill so I just adopted this idea and added some extra infos. Which is pretty good because so I could name him Steve too just like the character the actor played in Stranger Things. When I was looking for names, I couldn't see him with any other name than Steve. But then again I didn't wanted him to be a complete clone of them so I came up with the idea that a crazy scientist wanted to clone Steve and Bucky but didn't had their complete DNA so he tried to creat it by himself and therefore changed the DNA. That's why despite being a clone of them he doesn't completley shares the same DNA but only a part of it. So basically, if a DNA test were done, there would be some matches like it would be with close relatives like an uncle etc.
@zimnyayavdova There you go. I hope you're happy now because I am.

sooooo do you know of any noah "look-a-like" porn actors? there's a couple of the famous ones that i think kiiiiinda look like him or that give me vibes of him and how i like to imagine he's during sex, but no one that's close to being a really good fit imo (the killer combo of his face, mannerisms, body and ass seems to be truly unmatched 😔)
Tis rare I get asks on my main blog! Hello darling, what a treat you've sent me this fine cloudy morning
It is hard finding the right combo of things because Noah's face is what sets him apart. He is so uniquely fucking pretty, handsome, boyishly cute, a man exuding sex appeal all at once.
He reminds me, in some ways, of Eli Lincoln, one of my all time faves. He's also short like Noah and alsooo has an amazing bubble butt. It's actually bigger than Noah's lol. He doesn't look like him all that much, but you can easily ignore that in some scenes. My fave Eli porno is him getting an erotic massage, there are plenty of moments of him being face down, so standing in Noah with that butt is easy there.
For face (werk), Joey Mills is pretty close. he and noah have that slight, natural darkness around their eyes and somewhat similar structure. But of course, your words rings true as ever, because Joey is the quintessential twink and has no bubble butt like Noah.
I would recommend searching through amateur scenes and such, and just porn that is generally not as produced as studio things. It's easier to find what you want most, and in this case I would prescribe scenes where the face is simply not as visible but the fat ass is, allowing you to imagine Noah as the bottom. Xvideos, Xhamster, and gayporntube (formerly gayboystube, apparently) have a lot more locally sourced stuff that can suit your needs.
Happy hunting! If you find anything you like, please send it my way in ask or dm! Good porn is work and art

TMNT 2014
I know it's been 10 years since the movie came out and I'm still angry and disappointed how the movie turned out
Mistakes list.
1. The characters is Cgi instead of Practical effect suit.
2. Story and didn't follows the source material exemple from mirage comics or archie comics or 1987, 2003 and 2012.
3. They were April pets and she was the one that name them instead of boy by name Chester Manley that bought them.
4. Splinter was lab rat instead of him being pet to Hamato Yoshi or Hamato Yoshi and Splinter being same person. Splinter learning from book ninjutsu.
5. Splinter and Shredder didn't have backstory
6. Hamato Yoshi and Oroku Nagi was erased
7. Erik Sachs and Oroku Saki that they mix up who should be Shredder. Not to include Tatsu.
8. Foot clan was not even Foot clan more gun clan.
9. They race and gender swap Burne Thompson instead of Linda Temilesand.
10. They cast and took familiar face for exempel known actor and actresses instead of unknown actors and actresses.
11. Writer and director didn't know how make the movie.
12. Not having Purple Dragon gang.
13. Casey jones didn't appeared this movie but sequel he appeared but it was not good either the movie and him.
14. This movie should have not been made or sequel.
Next
How to fix the movie and how
they could have done:
1. Practical effect suit by Jim Henson company or Spectral motion instead of cgi.
2. Follow the source material from mirage archie comics.
3. Chester Manley is one who had as pets before dropped them from the well into the sewer.
4. Splinter being human turn to rat in this version and having backstory with Shredder.
5. Include Oroku Nagi in story because he is reason why Oroku Saki became Shredder.
6. Tang Shen could be the stepdaughter to Saburo who is the master Sensei to Hamato Yoshi and Oroku Saki in Mutations (Archie) comics.
7. Tatsu as Shredder right hand man
8. April being lab assistent to Baxter Stuckmann like in comics.
9. Not race and gender swap Burne Thompson
10. Let unknown actors and actresses to play the characters instead of known actor and actresses.
11. Nimród Antal could have directed this movie because he directed Predators movie 2010 and used practical effect.
12. Jim Henson company and Spectral motion could have made robber suit.
13. Casey Jones having backstory with Purple Dragon and including his rival Hunter "Hun" Mason.
14. This could have different results.
Exemple of practical effect suit
Splinter suit
Tumblr media
Or this Splinter suit
Tumblr media
Turtles suit
Tumblr media
Exemple of actress could have played April O'Neil instead of Megan Fox
Tumblr media
Tiffany Dupont
Tumblr media
Aubrey Dollar
Tumblr media
Ellie Kemper
Exemple actors could have played Casey Jones instead of Stephen Amell
Tumblr media
Noah Mills
Tumblr media
Sean Faris
Tumblr media
Daniel di Tomasso
Hollywood should try harder to look after unknown actors and actresses instead putting A-lister actor and actresses.
I made about Alternative TMNT 2014 with story and cast in this previous page

there was something mesmerizing about the news report. noah was certainly entranced and ramy, though mostly watching her watch the news, was sure to steal glances at lora harrington's not-so-riveting testimony of bearing witness to one of america's greatest mysteries. he wasn't quite as entranced, but he was interested. his comics borderlined on supernatural horror. he'd never really described himself as a believer, but he certainly enjoyed the idea of sasquatch or the jersey devil or the run-of-the-mill ghost.
the pair of them were jarred from their shared distraction by a server offering to refill waters. the sudden change of focus was all it took for him to lose out on the tab and he was kicking himself for not getting to it sooner. "that's messed up." he told her, smile on his face, as he jutted his chin toward the server taking her card to the register. "but i'll get next time." they could probably write off this and the next five meals as business expenses, but ramy wasn't super good at that kind of thing and even worse at saving his receipts so someone who was good at it could make the necessary adjustments.
"jesus," ramy let out as more of a scoff than a word. picking up his recently refreshed water glass, he offered a cheers. "here's to never getting that famous." except maybe that was always the goal for actors like noah. the best he could really hope for as an author was stephen king or the character from murder, she wrote. recognizable in the wild to a select few, but a household name nonetheless.
if noah seemed disinterested in her meal, ramy didn't really notice. he was half starved from living out of vending machines at the convention center and wishing he had more time to himself to just get a meal more than once a day. he dove into his chicken sandwich with fervor, happy to listen while she spoke, only shrugging when she cautioned him it was gonna get weird.
only it didn't get weird. if anything, that sounded more fun than getting drinks with other comic book authors. taking a drink of water to make sure he wasn't talking with any remaining food in his teeth, ramy laughed. "okay, no, we're gonna circle back to whatever childhood story you just glossed over on the way, but that sounds like a blast, honestly. i'm so tired of being inside for the last few days."
Tumblr media
"Yeah, right." And yet, Noah continued watching anyway, eyes narrowing in attempt to focus on the screen. God damn leaving her glasses in the hotel room.
The woman—white, middle-aged, definitely a Karen in her free time, named Lora Harrington—being interviewed went on about seeing a mysterious, tall, bipedal, hairy creature walking around in the woods behind her house. The reporter, off screen, had asked her:
Michael Barnes, VGC 53: Are you sure it wasn't a coyote? A bear? An animal of some sort? Harrington: I've been livin' in these mountains for years. With all due respect, I know the difference between a harmless chipmunk and Sasquatch himself! Barnes: Did you try to chase after it, or scare it away? Harrington: I ain't stupid. Barnes: There you have it, folks. A possible Bigfoot sighting, right here on Blueberry Lane...
"...water?"
Noah, ripped from her trance, looked up at the waiter in front of her, mouth agape. "Huh?"
"Would you like some more water?" The waiter smiled.
"Oh! Uh, yes." She pulled out her credit card and passed it to the waiter, who furrowed his brows. He topped off Noah's glass and took the card anyway. "Please put both meals on there. Thanks."
Facing Ramy again, she wore an apologetic expression. It was not like her to not pay attention to someone, especially her friend, extra-especially the friend that sat across from her. The pair were always on the same wavelength; she felt a tad guilty that she hadn't been paying attention to him. But there was something enthralling, a sort of invisible magnet that pulled her to the screen—to the story of the first sighting of this said creature. It was not clear enough to be labeled an intuition, and it wasn't dark enough to feel like a premonition. It was...
Well, she needed to forget it for now. She returned to what he'd said about being creeped out by too-close fans. "Anyway, I totally get it. And I always see these viral videos online about fans not knowing celebrities' boundaries, sneaking into their dressing rooms, waiting for them at restaurants, going to their houses. How much worse can it get?" she asked him, picking up another cheese curd. Except, this time, she didn't eat it. She let it fall onto her plate.
A moment later, the waiter returned with Noah's card and their meals. Noah muttered a polite thank you, but she didn't feel as excited about her meal. Her hunger had faded away, and in its place, in her stomach, was a growling for something else. She picked up her fork, stabbing some fries and dipping them into her ketchup, before looking up at Ramy.
"Hey. So. This is gonna sound weird," she said, "but when I was younger, I had this... Well, anyway, long story short. It's gonna sound crazy, and you can 100% say no and I won't be offended. But I was wondering if you maybe wanted to go check out where that lady claimed she saw Bigfoot and, uh, explore a little bit?" She smiled, but it was more like a grimace.

i dont know why i am sharing this...
https://youtu.be/GAv1YugWNXA?si=YuSMJHQRUCcTScpY.
which celebrity would actually play a good demogorgon? 1:38
They all brought up their crushes (kind of).
Millie: Leonardo, Noah: Zendaya finn, Finn: bruce willis.
Then it hit me—why does Bruce remind me of Mr. Schnapp (noah's dad)? wait, Finn has a crush on Noah’s dad too? LMAO
Sorry if this is odd, but I can’t help but keep thinking about it. this was weirdly funny.
Interview deep dive starting! Going in the the depths of my inbox for some older ones to start.
This interview is fun - a rare segment where nothing here made me cringe, the Mille-Finn-Noah vibe is actually good. This one was fun.
It's finny because when posed with "who would play a good demogorgon? it seems like they just spin it to who do you want to see on set all the time, but then it also feels like a crush thing? Finn - wild card, but he so wants to be the funny one and we can see him have his little moment with his joke - later in the interview he flat out says he prefers and wants to be funny on screen. Remember the Architectural Digest home tours we reviewed? How actor types (the conjecture was that it was male actors, but from watching some actresses doing the AD tours - they behaved the same way) lean into putting on a persona on camera. I think Finn does this a little. I think Millie does this a lot. I do not think Noah does much.
Anyway, we have Millie saying Leo because she likes to look at him, Finn is a wildcard we can joke about it being a man crush but I think it's Finn jumping at his need to be funny (and he is - he does what he needs to haha) and then Noah comes in with Finn as his choice? Wants to see Finn more? Hmm. Because Millie talks over and I think tries to suggest Zendaya, who we know was Noah's bearding straight guy celeb crush name, but nah, he did say Finn. Ha.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
But also - I think they were also roasting Finn for being skinny and tall. Love his indigence here.
Tumblr media
This is my favorite bit from the interview though, Noah's response to what he stole off set. Underwear. WHY??? And then the classic Finn "good boy" moment. Had to include it. He's so smug.
