I can't stop drawing him... In any case, this is for my FFXII fan book. He's wounded and is being healed (by Cidolfus, the current best healer in the story). I love drawing Noah's sideburns.

Also, I think I made Cid a little too handsome with his Balthier coloured hair. (*μ_μ) But he's quite nicely developed as a character in the book.

I really dislike drawing armor and details... which is ironic considering most FF characters are detail-rich OTL So simplifying and removing parts is the way to go---

Gabranth's altarnative outfit is based on the artwork that had younger Basch and younger Noah Vayne dressed as Larsa was just for fun though.

Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia Ceodore and Cyan Banner

The Supplication for Catastrophe event just started in the Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia (DFFOO) mobile game. This event came with 2 banners.

Supplication for Catastrophe Banner 1

The Supplication for Catastrophe banner 1 features the following chars and their weapons:

Ceodore Harvey from Final Fantasy IV - 15cp, 35cp, Ex, LD, and Burst or BT

Cyan Garamonde from Final Fantasy VI - 15cp, 35cp, Ex, and LD

Gabranth (Noah Fon Ronsenburg) from Final Fantasy XII - 15cp, 35cp, and Ex

My Ceodore’s 15cp, 35cp, and Ex are fully MLB. His Ex is at base Ex only. Missing his LD and BT. 

My Cyan’s 15cp is MLB. His 35cp has been limit broken once. Have his Ex but it hasn’t been limit broken at all. Missing his LD. 

Have all of Gabranth’s weapons fully MLB.

Ceodore Harvey from Final Fantasy IV

Ceodore Harvey from Final Fantasy IV is a mix between a DPS and support. He has okay enough buffs and auras. He can enchant the party and imperil enemies with the holy element.

Cyan Garamonde from Final Fantasy VI

Cyan Garamonde from Final Fantasy VI (#ad) is a DPS with some utility such as being able to remove the party’s debuffs.

Thoughts about Cyan Garamonde and Ceodore Harvey

Both Ceodore and Cyan are nice to have but not necessary. Honestly, I don’t need either of them. 

Already have other chars who can fulfill their roles. Have plenty of DPS like Machina Kunagiri from Final Fantasy Type-0. Have Eiko Carol from Final Fantasy IX who can enchant and imperil holy. 

Have Yuna from Final Fantasy X who can remove the party’s debuffs. Even have chars like Aeris or Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII who provide party-wide 100% immunity to debuffs.

Not only do I not need either Cyan or Ceodore, neither are also faves or anything. I could and should just skip the Supplication for Catastrophe banner 1.

Supplication for Catastrophe Banner 1 Tickets Pulls Results

But I decided to toss some tickets here anyway. Currently have 545 tickets on hand. My plan was to just use like a hundred tickets then walk away even if I fail to get anything.

Aside from the usual bronze and silver trash and the occasional 15cp and 35cp dupe, also got dupes of everyone’s Ex weapons. 

Got way more dupes of Ceodore’s Ex than Cyan’s or Gabranth’s. Too bad their Spheres aren’t all that good. 

The Ceodore Ex dupes were especially annoying because I remember getting multiple copies of these on the last banner he was featured in. 

I also failed to get his LD on that banner. Now it looks like that might be happening on this banner as well.

Got a few 10-pulls that didn’t have a single gold which sucks. Thankfully, I soon got a gold orb which gave me my first copy of Cyan’s LD. Yay!

Super pleased to see this. Also got dupes of Cyan’s 35cp and Ceodore’s 35cp on this draw. Still have 484 tickets left when Cyan’s LD came home.

In retrospect, should have stopped here. This was already more than good enough. I don’t need any of these chars. 

Ceodore’s LD isn’t even new. I’ve been able to manage just fine without it, which just goes to show that I really don’t need it. 

So I really should have just saved the rest of my tickets instead of continuing to pull. But couldn’t seem to help myself. Kept tossing tickets on this banner. 

Eventually, I did get another LD. Too bad it was the wrong one though. Yeah, that’s right. Just got my second copy of Cyan’s LD. Eff! At least I had yet to limit break my first copy.

I really should have stopped now but no, just kept on going. I regret this now because Ceodore’s LD didn’t even have the decency to show up. Instead, all I got was my third copy of Cyan’s LD. Ugh. Ceodore LD, doko da?

Also, Cyan, stop trolling me, please. This is utterly ridiculous and feels like some kind of joke but Cyan’s LD kept on trolling me. 

It was like every time I actually got an LD, it always turned out to be Cyan’s. But if I got an Ex, then it turned out to be Ceodore’s. Argh! So frustrating. Even started doing single draws, but still no dice.

When I finally managed to tear myself away from this banner, I ended up with enough dupes of Cyan’s LD to be able to fully MLB my first copy without having to use a single Power Stone. In contrast to that, I only got 1 dupe of his Ex.

It was nice to get Cyan’s LD but I really ended up spending way too much on this banner. I really regret that now, especially since I didn’t even get Ceodore’s LD or BT. Sigh.

The Republic of Landis: a small country destroyed by the Empire

The struggle for power between the Archadia and Rozarria empires led to the demise of numerous nations, among them the Kingdom of Nabradia. Basch's place of origin, the Republic of Landis, suffered a similar fate. Initially, Landis was a small city-state on the Valendia continent. In the year 687, Archadia forcefully conquered Landis, effectively assimilating it into the Empire. While some former Landis citizens integrated into the empire, many chose to flee, unwilling to live under imperial rule. Some of them are still wandering around as refugees nearly 20 years after the war's end.

Hailing from the former Republic of Landis, Basch doesn't openly disclose his Landis origins to everyone he meets.
