A-Train is such an interesting character, because is season 1 he is clearly the bad guy. He is basically Hughie's arch enemy because he killed Robin and barely cared, it's not just enemy stuff because they're on different sides, it's personal for them. That caused Hughie to join the boys and created their feud, where the Boys blackmail Popclaw, A-Train kills her and blames Hughie for using her, A-Train goes to his house and threatens his dad, Hughiehas Kimiko break one of his legs, when A-train is healed up he goes after Hughie personally and has a heart attack after beating Starlight. Hughie however saves his life but they aren't even in A-Trains eyes, but they're both alive by the end. That's kind of the last time A-Train specifically is 'the bad guy' in the show because once season 2 rolls around, he has other problems than Hughie to deal with and so does Hughie. They don't like each other, but they're forced to ally up for their own advancement.
The things is, as the show goes on, we see how dark the world is and unfortunately, while Hughie hates him personally, A-Train is one of the better Supes, and even people in the main cast. It doesn't make him a good person by any means, but just by showing how terrible the rest of the world is, it changes the curve and puts him on the better side, despite his actions being very personal. As far as we know, his 3 big sins are killing Robin, killing Popclaw, and betraying Supersonic to Homelander so he killed him. There might be more but that's why I can remember. I'm not counting standing aside to let Deep and Newoir kill the homelander stans, or taking Bluehawk to the community meeting because while that was dumb and ended tragically he was trying to do some good with it. And don't get me wrong, he's done plenty of terrible things and threatened to do more, but wasn't able to follow up on it so it's hard to judge. I'm not downplaying what he's done, it's just that 3 people are a lot less compared to what other people have done. And yes, the implication is that Robin wasn't the first or last person A-Train killed like that, but it's hard when it's just the implication of something that happened off screen.
Everyone in the Boys has blood on their hands on both sides and it's hard to judge A-Train given how horrible the other characters are. Because the thing is, there's a difference between personal and actual when it comes to judging a person. You hate the person who bullied you in school more than someone who committed a mass shooting hundreds of miles away. It's not that you like the shooter more, it's just that while you condemn them, it's not personal, you don't hate them, you think they're horrible and but you stop thinking about it because it doesn't impact your life. Whereas even if you adulthood you might hate your childhood bully for what they did to you, you might never actually recover or get closure for it. That's what it's like Hughie/the viewer and A-train. Because Hughie is the audience surrogate and we see the shit that happens between him and A-Train, we're trained to hate him. However he's still only the middle of the pact in the Seven that we meet. Homelander is homelander, The deep is a serial rapist, Black Noir has killed a lot of people on missions and cleaning up after Homelander, but is also Edgars hitman until he's ousted. Then there's Translucent who I'd put on the same horrible level as A-Train, he's a pervert who sexually harrasses at least his teammates and went to silence Hughie, but we don't really see him (for lack of a better word) do anything else as horrible as the other 3, partially because he dies so quickly. Below A-Train's level are Maeve who is apathetic, but does still do hero stuff and is more broken than evil. And finally Starlight who genuinely wanted to do good in the Seven, but then realized what they actually were.
The thing is, even Starlight has blood on her hands. She murdered someone in season 2. It was to save Hughie's life and he drew a gun on her, but she still killed him. You can't even call it self defense because the only reason why he drew the gun on her was because he didn't want to get his car stolen, and even then a handgun wouldn't have hurt her anyway. He died so she could save Hughie. I don't think it makes her a monster, but it does mean she has blood on her hands that she kind of ignores for the rest of the series so far. The point isn't that she is a monster or just as bad, but she has done bad stuff to protect herself and the people she loves, or in the name of the greater good.
The rest of the boys are even worse because MM is probably the cleanest besides Hughie, he is still an accomplice to a lot of horrible stuff that they do for the sake of taking down Supes. Butcher, like Homelander is Butcher, he's willing to do horrible things to get what he wants, he has more restraint than his arch nemesis but he's still done a lot of horrible things to kill Homelander, murder included. Frenchie has done tons of horrible stuff when he was working for Nina, he is trying to make up for it or at least do good and be kind now, but it doesn't change he murdered innocent people because his boss told him to. Kimiko murdered a lot of people, most were bad, but she didn't do it because ti was the right thing to do, she did it for money and because they were bad so it made it okay. And let's not even get started on the stuff she did as a brainwashed child soldier of the Shining Light.
But it's okay that the Boys are doing bad things, because for the most part supes are worse. Every Supe that is mentioned is horrible unless they're a joke of fodder. Racists who kill black people because they're 'criminals,' or target migrant workers because they know they can get away with. Rapists who know vought will pay to cover up their crimes and keep their victims silent one way or another. the list goes on.
The point isn't that A-Train is innocent or not a bad guy, he's done both and has been sympathetic since season 1. then kind of became the butt monkey of the show that no one really respects by season 3, before getting his powers back. He is a complex character in a gray world. The more time goes on, the more messed up the curve is. He isn't a saint, but I think he's sympathetic and it does mean that it seems like currently he seems to be on the path to redemption, and I hope he is redeemed and survives switching sides.

Alright yall here’s my take on a gf season 3
(note: I firmly believe there probably won’t be a season 3 and I myself don’t necessarily want one. The story is over and the show is already peak, I’m good fr)
…….HOWEVER
My hypothetical season 3 would go back to FULL season 1 energy. No overarching plot, no crazy demon battles. Just episodic and character driven fun.
It’s a couple years later and the twins are maybe 15 or 16. They haven’t made it back to Gravity Falls til now (with their parents divorced, there were a couple moves, etc) but with the Grunkles back in town, they just had to make it back up there for the summer.
And from there, we’re right back into the interpersonal coming of age stories we’re used to with lots and lots of family bonding. There are episodes like:
Dipper and Mabel babysit Soos’ toddler
Pacifica working at the diner
Mabel and Ford bonding time where Mabel can show off her smarts and maturity when not looking after Dipper. Ford gets to relax and be creative for the first time in I think his life
Wendy freaking out about going into senior year and/or college. Deciding whether or not college is the thing for her or what she wants for her future.
Rich Fiddleford shenangins
Dipper and Stan bonding time with a lot of deconstructing the toxic masculinity that Stan grew up with and echoed back on to Dipper. Dipper getting to choose what kind of person he wants to become.
The gang helping Gideon as he goes around town desperately trying to find a new hobby
Dipper has a noir detective episode for some reason
Grunkle Ford ace reveal please please please please please please please please
Mabel and the girls get really into a trashy ya series and get to be delightfully cringe about it. They accidentally find Stan on a fan forum and they immediately drop it
Blubs and Dubs gay wedding
I could go on literally forever but I will not.
And don’t get me wrong, there still will be a strong element of the urban fantasy and cryptids we’re used to. We see the gnomes and the manotaurs and maybe Mermando again idk. Maybe we get to see actual vampires this time (could tie into the ya series episode) or see an alien or they get stuck in a time loop. Anything goes! As long as it’s self contained.
And will there be any Bill content? I honestly don’t know. My instinct is to say no (or at the very least keep it to the finale again). But whatever it is, it should NOT have redemption for Bill- only closure for everyone involved. And maybe the Pines family can hit him like a piñata again…this is 100% included in family bonding time category.
Ok I think that’s it.
K bye <3

IS revealing the Books 1-3 FEH height chart made me feel even sadder for Helbindi because not only does he [probably] lose his only & little sister, what little family he had left and failed to protect, but IS chose to make him stand quite literally in Surtr's shadow at 5'8"-5'10" vs Surtr's 6'10", despite all his artwork making him seem as huge (I thought he was 6'8") as the overgrown despot.
I will still stan the short king though, and I'm glad Ylgr does provide some closure for him to still be a good big brother.

Dragons Rising season 2 spoilers below
So I know Morro's probably permanently dead and all, but with all the merge and blood moon stuff going on, I think it would've been so cool if we got a bit of a cameo of Morro in the season 2 part 1 finale when Euprashia was trying to hold up the falling cloud kingdom, she basically trained herself and I couldn't help but think it'd be a nice touch if the writers added maybe Morro popping in briefly and just giving her a bit of guidance and then disappearing again, I feel like that'd also be pacifying a lot of the Morro stans and Euprashia haters that want morro back cause it'd give more closure than what we got in day of the departed and really solidify that Morro is truly at peace with never coming back and someone else continuing the legacy of the elemental master of wind.
Just a thought I had that I wanted to share but alas, I have no friends that are into Ninjago 😔✊

gravity falls guardian au where the mystery twins are assigned Bill mid season 1
Bill doesn't know why he feels uncomfortable when looking at the twins but he keeps his distance, so he starts helping the twins with their adventure only when called upon.
think of the drama, THINK OF THE FORSHADOWING WHEN THEY INTERACT WITH FIDDLEFORD!!! god when hes summoned for the first time, we could get a shot of the portal, crackling with Bill's power before we cut back to the main scene.
he could have some nerf, like he only can be summoned a few times per year without it coming with the price or smtg idk
i like the idea of the twins reminding Bill of Ford and subconsciously wanting the best for them because he feels like he cant get closure BUT HE WONT ADMIT THAT..
The post pines reunion argument between stan vs ford vs bill would be wild.

how do the kids react to the nightmare realm possessing Ford's body au (or how would they if it doesn't happen, memory is fuzzy about what you said about that)
gasp yippie thank you jacky :3333
so! in the au, the nightmare realm does in fact possess ford's body (it's just that stan, ahem. '''exorcizes''' it much later on)
this occurs in the middle of the day while the stan twins are visiting gravity falls. of course, a measly metal plate can't keep the entire nightmare realm out and, thus, it has no problem just sorta. gta gif of guy opening car door, throwing driver out onto the street, and then driving off
the only problem is that because it's, y'know, the entire nightmare realm, it 1. kills ford's instantly, blowing his mind quite literally, and 2. releases a large burst of energy that weird-ifies most of the town around ford (and also lights it on fire a bit, y'know how it is)
from this point, the nightmare realm begins wreaking havoc, makes an example of fiddleford, and, eventually, finds its way to a rift where both it and stan leave gravity falls (pretty much...forever)
this leaves a lot of the town in ruins and a lot of folks hurt, or even dead in some cases. the niblings are in piedmont at the time, so they don't actually see it. what they do see is numerous texts and calls from their friends, a few obituaries, a small-scale restoration effort get set up, and, probably the worst, video that was captured of the nightmare realm-possessed ford destroying everything. and now both him and stan are missing
they react about as you would expect: horror, grief, and an intense desire to go to gravity falls to help. they also start to get really anxious and panicky, because- did that not look just like weirdmaggedon?? and ford's the epicenter?? and he's not here to help guide them anymore?? to them, it ended way too soon to be good, and they're waiting for the other shoe to drop, and for the chaos to come back in full force. and the worst part? ford and stan never make it back home. the niblings never get closure on what happened, so that fear sticks with them for a long, long while after

Hi! I don't remember if anyone, including me, asked this, but do you have any headcanon about Dipper and Mabel's parents? Especially when scared Dipper has woken everybody at home because of Bipper nightmares.
This is gonna sound like a bit of a cop out; but honestly?? My biggest headcanon about them is that they're Whatever They Need To Be To Not Impact The Story I'm Telling.
Outside the matter of sheer necessity I've got a few small headcanons for them. It's the dad, not the mom, who's part of the Pines family (just because that's how surnames usually work round these parts). The dad's Jewish but the mom isn't (operating under the assumption that this is yet another place where Dipper & Mabel's upbringing echoes Alex Hirsch's), and I feel like they still recognize some big events that are important to the extended family (like making sure Mabel & Dipper got their bat/bar mitzvahs), but otherwise they're fairly distant from Judaism and the dad hasn't done very much to pass it down to his kids.
Since Mabel has a picture in her scrapbook of them all kickboxing, I imagine that both parents are into it and did it a little (though not much) with Dipper & Mabel; the dad got into it as a kid because Shermie decided any kid of his should learn to be tough for his own good, because Shermie's dad wanted his kids to be tough for their own good, and that's been passed down the family tree.
The dad moved to California probably to go to college and definitely to join in the burgeoning tech industry in the 90s, then got married and settled, so the only Pines on the west coast are his branch of the family in Cali, and Stan (and now Ford) in Oregon.
The dad never met Stanford before he got portaled, and he grew up believing that "Uncle Stan" in Oregon had been a child prodigy who'd burned out after college and became a recluse rather than slink back home a failure. He was probably told he had an Uncle Stanley who got kicked out for being a dangerous criminal in the making and it was a sad but relieving bit of closure when the family heard he died: at least now they know what happened to him. That's all he knew about Stanley.
And that's about all I've got. Everything else is a matter of convenience.
The story I'm telling right now doesn't involve D&M's parents and I don't particularly want to get them involved; so, by logical necessity, they need to be people who wouldn't have a detectable impact on this story. I wanted D&M to go back to Gravity Falls the next summer, and I didn't want D&M to come into the story dealing with heavy trauma from last summer—light trauma, sure, but not something that weighs on them day and night—so this is my most salient and important headcanon about their parents:
They're the kind of people who could hear all about the Stanley/Stanford switcheroo, the portal, the evil triangle guy, and the end of the world, and then: 1. believe their children, 2. send them to therapy, and 3. somehow still decide to entrust these kids to the same grunkles the next summer. That's it. They need to be whatever kind of people they need to be in order to play that role.
Beyond that: they have to be whatever kind of people they need to be in order to have raised someone like Dipper & Mabel. Everything else about their identities is subservient to these necessities. And I haven't really felt compelled to dig into them further.

i was a rina since season 1 so i am so happy that like i called it….
but the way they just used EJ as a plot device, ruined his relationship with Gina by making it romantic (tho they were very cute) and then don’t even allow him closure rlly makes rooting for rina hard
I am an EJ stan first
that being said i will be enjoying the ricky and gina dynamic and disney are cowards for not making them a throuple 🫡

sorry one last post. as a member of the writer's tale stan community. I don't really see the load bearing point of the bigeneration. I guess the boringest truth is it's just a pleasant closure coda either for normie fans to go "aw:)" at with their families or so fic writers can kick off crazystyle. But reading rtd's reflections on unpicking eg Doomsday as a screenwriter over and over until he could see exactly what parsimonious solution he needed to convey. It feels odd. The same way the weird essentialist "women just say #no to trauma" metacrisis moment in ep 1 did. Because you already had a handwavey solution (had a child. Offset the energy. Sure!). like. sure i know that
- They probably wanted David and Ncuti to interact
- they probably liked the narrative wash of "he's entirely not you / we're starting a new era". but.
Wwhy not have a bigeneration as a silly moment more explicitly of the toymaker's doing that then gets heartbrokingly, classic dw-style, Fixed. by fourteen dying in the fight. I know that's not the same soft landing of his arc but it's NOT his arc. he's not ten he's fourteen! and he could have literally killed off a part of himself FOR himself! That would have ruled. I'm so mad but i haven't had the urge to re-write doctor who for so long. I feel energised. I'm going to go punch a hole in a wall or gently replant a tree

Hello ✌✌
I know I'm kind of a bit late, I just found out anti tags are actually a thing. I just wanted to say that I love Fitz but at the same time I don't (for obvious reasons) and I wish his stans would actually stop using him being sick as an excuse. Like sure that was bad and he really needs professional help but given their situation at that moment they couldn't, and I'm pretty sure his stans are forgetting that he said he doesn't regret doing it and to mention, he wasn't having a psychotic break when he said that.
And also I'm sick and tired of people siding with Fitz when he said "do you want me to recall all the times that you did?" Like, the times where Daisy "turned her back against them" was because she was manipulated and swayed and she "left them" because maybe she thought that was safer for them. (Don't forget she was having suicidal thoughts and was having withdrawal from Hive)
Like sir??? Turn her back against them??? What about all the times when you ALMOST GOT DAISY KILLED??? (When Fitz jumped into the monolith for an example)
Also I'm kinda pissed that no one went on to comfort Daisy, hell not even Jemma. She only cares if Fitzsimmons are still together or not
I still love the Bus Kids but I deserve the fitzdaisy closure. They could make a whole episode about fitzsimmons in s6 but couldn't for fitzdaisy.
Sorry if this is long 😬😔
Hey nonnie! See I used to love Fitz too. But it was with the assumption that he isn't perfect and lately his behaviour with the team has been getting problematic and that most fans realise that.
Finding out they don't was an experience.
I actually came across a thread on reddit a while back where they were hailing the "do you want me to recall all the times that you did" as such a gotcha against Daisy. And then listing all the times that "she turned her back on them". Which consisted of her trying to help Miles in season 1 (the guy she obviously knew longer and she didn't owe them anything at that point, moreover she turned against him when she realised what he'd done), her siding with Jiaying (completely ignoring the fact that her mom who she had been looking for forever manipulated and lied to her and that SHIELD themselves blindsided her by sending Gonzalez when they were actually expecting Coulson, and still she saw through it all and chose to fight her mother), that time she was under Hive's sway (I don't think I need to elaborate on this), that time she went rogue in s04 (once again not caring that she was grieving Lincoln's death and was freshly free of mind control, lost and suicidal and needed help, not a yelling).
And not to mention that not once did she do anything remotely similar to ambushing a member of the team, strapping them to a table and cutting into them. False equivalencies much?
For a show that's all about empowered women, they not only let a white man get away with violating an Asian woman, but also let him flip the story, discredit her as a victim. These tactics are what domestic abusers use. They make their victim feel as if what happened to them was their own fault. So guess Fitz is a classic abuser now. Good luck with that Jemma.
But hey the fans have decided that Fitz can do no wrong, and the show creators have a huge part to play in that. So really at this point I am not even sure who pisses me off more, the fandom or Whedon and Maurissa.
But honestly I wish I had interacted with fans like you instead of the raging a-holes who were bitching about Daisy being a hardass to Fitz. So thank you for the ask, and for giving me your very nuanced take on the whole thing.

Last rant aside S26E04 was good. Best in the season thus far imo. Had been a while since south park elicited sincere laughter from me and I felt like the pacing worked because they stuck to their guns and expanded their basic premise. It was more centered than Cupid yew ep and had better closure as result.
Kept building unto the joke of AI generated text within the context of the boys cheating their essays +Stan and Wendy's relationship but finding ways around making new jokes about it and expanding instead of relying on the 1 gag repeating throughout the episode with a some semblance of a plotline thrown in there at the last 5 min like toilet episode.
>women ruined slavery joke explained in the second half of the episode without being the entire b plot
Matt and trey? Doing an elaborated joke set up in 2023? impossible!!
When Cartman shouted at the kid to get out! I legit thought they were just going to go through the same scene again lol. There's a lot of ways the premise could've gone that could've resulted in a mediocre episode. I can very well see them having the gag of submitting AI text loop through the episode as the punchline of the situation(picture branching away from stan and showing a montage of people using it at every level of society, same joke different setting/application) but it was used in an expository fashion to move the plot between stan and wendy forward which allowed them to exploit their remaining screentime with derivative ideas.
It's not complex stuff but failing at this bare minimum tends to be modern south park's biggest undoing in succeeding at both being funny and also immersing you in a situation involving characters and it makes the difference in entertainment value like day and night imo
we oughta make AI shit a permanent implementation in the south park writers room maybe it'll get them inspired me thinks
#just saying#south park season 26#south park#lowkey wished there had been some kyle involvement though i'm sure he's writing his own essays!!

I constantly get dreams of a GF, TOH and Amphibia Crossover so i'm gonna list all the stuff I remember distinctly from it.
Part 1 The Crossover was mostly Hexsquad (Luz bringing the portal door with her, and Odalia carving a small bug palisman to spy on Amity secretly following and listening on everything) and The Calamity Trio heading to Gravity Falls for a fun trip taking place after the Amphibia Timeskip The Pines Family are mostly grown up (Except the Stans who accidentally touched a magic artifact that made them 20 years older) and uh... Waddles lived his full life Dipper and Mabel discussed about waiting till they were old enough to go their seperate ways only for that to backfire and them still being together Dipper had a makeshift plasma gun that still had a missing part and a small dagger in case he needs to resort to melee Mabel... Kept her old Grappling Hook and it still works Pines Family have a family trip to the Alien Crashsite to get the last piece to finish dipper's plasma gun (with Hexsquad and Calamity Trio trailing behind curious about what they're doing) Suddenly Stan holds the other pines Hostage and Bill's shown to be living in Stan's Head.. and the hostage situation didnt last long after Willow restrained him and finally the 3 groups meet so back at the Shack Bill loses control and Stan is back and they still need to find a solution. till realising they could put a metal plate (a spare one for Ford) in Stan's head since it worked well for ford, but they'd need magic to implement it Which Luz calls up but during the process they need someone to hold bill down in the Mindscape But they still need someone outside to keep an eye on everyone Ford decides on Mabel coming with him to the Mindscape with Dipper being Fine with the plan So while Mabel and Ford deal with Bill, Dipper decides to give them all a trip around the shack, where Luz and Marcy fall thru loose floorboards into Ford's Lab and Dipper calls Soos to fix the floor while he goes down to help the two Luz and Marcy find DD and more D and join dipper in Playing before Marcy accidentally finds the Infinity Sided die and accidentally rolls it ...and suddenly Sprig, Polly, Hop Pop, and Frobo are transported to the human realm with a set timer before they return to amphibia
In the mindscape Ford and Mabel had a one to one talk, Ford knows Mabel was part of the deal with weirdmageddon because Bill kept talking about it, But Bill ALWAYS assured Ford Mabel was just a pawn and that it was all HIS doing. Ford brung Mabel because he wanted her to have closure against Bill Meanwhile Gus finds Dipper's DVD collection of the Tales of Arcadia Trilogy and Everyone ends up binge watching it while Ford and Mabel lock Bill in the metal plate Part 2
After getting that mess sorted out Hexsquad and The Calamity Trio decide to see more of Gravity Falls and its wonders, but meanwhile Odalia's bug secretly makes its way to a mysterious statue in the woods and makes contact with it, Moving Bill out of the metal plate and into a different mindscape where She makes a Deal with Bill to possess Amity Meanwhile Luz realises that the Tales of Arcadia trilogy felt unfinished so she confronts Dipper about it, He fesses up about rise of the Titans but said that it kills the franchise and he doesnt want to ruin the franchise for them. Now uh... This part is very clunky, forgive me i only really dream the action parts Dipper finally finishes his Dual Plasma guns with Infinite Fuel, With three different modes, Blast, Beam, and Shield only downside is, whenever he fires away he's always knocked back by the recoil.
Meanwhile, Bill takes over Amity's Body in secret and makes their way to Odalia Blight so they can discuss on how to unleash Bill into the 3rd Dimension again, Their plan being to rebuild and reactivate the portal under the shack
Filler and other plot points that makes the other characters Relevant i just cant think of anything rn
After all that succeeds and Weirdmageddon is unleashed ugh... again Luz activates the portal door and evacuates a bunch of people from Gravity Falls and they seek refuge in the boiling isles and need to plan for another Revolution against Bill But... bill is prepared and sits right in front of the shack waiting so while that happens everyone starts planning a bunch of things like a Shacktron 2.0 but made with better parts since Polly and a Few others we're a lot more experienced in that field, some Training with weaponry (and Mabel gets a Mace)
They all end up realising Amity is Missing, Luz decides she'll go find her and when she does she finds out Amity is possessed and tells the rest of the team Dipper suddenly has an idea, tells Mabel to make a sock puppet of Amity and to just put it on the ground, where Amity (Currently in the mindscape) can communicate with everyone since Bill is puppeting her body so, they need to find a way to free amity from the possession permanently
Meanwhile Bill ends up recruiting Terra and Adrian since his Henchmaniacs don't trust him anymore and tasks them to kidnap them all, especiall the Pines Family Everyone Came to the conclusion to Free Amity from the possession they need another Metal Plate, only... they used the last one on stan, Thing is Ford remembers He had a few of them in the old Bunker so Dipper decides he and a few others will go get it and chooses Hunter, Marcy, and Willow to help him, but for them to make it there they need to get past bill, so Gus uses his illusion magic to fool bill into killing the four of them while the real ones ran off to the bunker. Bill is satisfied with "killing" the illusions so he retreats back to the Fearamid since he knows theyre probably gonna be kidnapped When he does everyone starts putting their plans into action and start building a better shacktron while also finding a way to stop bill without the Zodiac Ford realises if the Shack can stop bill from entering then what if they could seal him in to give them more time so tells Dipper Marcy Hunter and Willow about getting the Mercury, Moonstone, and Unicorn Hair so they get all the materials when suddenly.. in the Boiling isles, Terra, Adrian, Odalia and Amity (Being possessed by Bill) raid the Owl House and took almost all of the inhabitants (Except Gus) after the 4 return they see the Shack in Shambles and Find just Gus The Portal Door was ransacked too! So They hatch a plan to get them all back from the Fearamid
Meanwhile Terra suggests that they use the memory tweezers except it doesnt work due to the metal plate Gus will illusion Himself as Dipper and get Odalia, Bill and Terra to chase him, while Hunter lays down the Unicorn Hair outside Willow will deal with Adrian and Amity and subdue both of them while Dipper frees everyone and Marcy preps an Airship as an Escape Vehicle The plan works well and Bill is locked on the top of the fearamid till Dipper realises Ford is missing, turns out he's been taken somewhere else so while Marcy evacuates Everyone (And a Knocked out Amity) Dipper and Hunter go back in to find both the Portal Door and Ford, Dipper finds Ford but Hunter comes by and tells them that Adrian, Odalia, and Terra found them, and they couldnt find the door so they decide that will be something for another day As the three escape Dipper hops off before closing the door behind Hunter and Ford, Tells both of them to get out of there while He deals with the witches meanwhile Amity woke up and got ready to attack till Luz lunged at her and knocked both of them off the airship. I’d say that the Wedding Fight would necessitate the creation of the group chat- Nick (or whoever finds out about it first) creates it to loop in the other Lucases + Macy, to help logistically manage things so nothing goes wrong on the day of the wedding. And then after the wedding the chat stays active so they can keep each other informed of how Stella and Joe are doing, etc. they’ve probably informally exchanged info but this is the first concerted effort they’ve made to discuss the elephant in the room probably.
First texts were something like:
Macy: So we’re all agreed that this is going to end badly right.
Nick: Absolutely
Frankie: yup
Kevin: 😿
Nick: And here is how badly [voice recording of Joe & Fiancée arguing, maybe like 1 min?]
Macy: Yeah, tears and turmoil coming at us in 3 years or less.
Frankie: good, we’re all on the same page. So, what’s step 2?
And then you get the text bubbles of multiple people typing
probably it doesn’t get the name changed to “Joella Update Account” until after they’re both divorced and finalized. And at some point it becomes “Joella Stan Account” once they’re married.
Sorry for the late response bestie I trying not to spiral over something fucking DUMB
Macy creates the groupchat after Stella vents to her about how ridiculous Joe is because why would he bring up feelings from years ago when they were both kids after she gets married and the night before his wedding
Meanwhile Joe is venting to Nick because he just wanted to get closure which he didn't get because Stella didn't want to talk about it and her saying that even if she did still have feelings it wouldn't matter because she has a husband and tot at home was the opposite of closure
Something about Kev only communicating in emojis is so on brand and Frankie is the only one who can interpret his emoji charades
Everytime the groupchat name has changed it was Kevin
He names it "Wedding Disaster Prevention" the night it's made and it stays that until it becomes "Joella Updates" and then "Team Joella"

Just read through your two cars and a kid au, and I was wondering some things, feel free to ignore any/all of them obvs.
Does Steven ever manage to get back to his old time?
Do you plan to catch up to canon so to speak, like where Ford asks Stan to come over, or even up to the main run of the show?
How much acsess does Steven have to his powers? Is there ever a moment where they’re in trouble and wham! Big glowing pink shield?
In a similar vein is there ever a bit where stevens backstory gets revealed? Or does he just drop random bits out of context while Stan gets an increasingly concerned look on his face?
If Steven does ever return to his own time without just aging there, is there a bit where he finds the mystery shack and a bit of a Spider-Man moment happens where Stan recognizes his old friend?
Sorry if this is annoying, your au just gave a bit of the brain worms
Okay, so first of all:
I love this whole ask and all the questions because this AU has given me the brain worms too ❤️ Answers under the cut, because this will likely get long!
Does Steven ever manage to get back to his old time?
I was originally debating between two possible endings for this AU: one where Steven returned home, and one where he didn’t. As I think about it more, though, I’m coming to realize that the story makes more sense and has more closure if he does, so the answer is a 90% yes
Do you ever plan to catch up to canon?
Up until the point where Ford sends Stan the plea to come to Gravity Falls. My reason for this being that, if Steven were present for the reveal of the portal, a lot of GF canon storybeats wouldn’t end up happening. A mediator during Stan and Ford’s first interaction after ten years (especially one with Steven’s abilities) would basically guarantee that the inciting incident for Gravity Falls wouldn’t occur. Steven has advanced knowledge of other cultures/species/technology, and his opinion on the portal might sway Ford’s resolve to use it. Even if everything DOES go according to script (which would require a lot of OOC choices by several characters) and Ford gets lost in the multiverse, Steven could call on resources to fix it long before Dipper and Mabel get there. So while Stan’s ten years homeless are marginally better, by the time he reaches Gravity Falls, he’s on his own again.
(I wonder if he would’ve approached Ford’s request with more maturity after spending so much time with Steven? Or would the fresh loss of a long-time friend provoke him into irrationality?)
How much access does Steven have to his powers?
All access! He hides his gem half because 1) he’s enjoying ‘playing human’ for someone who has only known him as such, and 2) he doesn’t know how a relatively conservative kid from Jersey would react to an alien and it’s in his best interest to hide, since he’s in a completely different time period and location and for the moment he’s dependent on Stan for survival. The more time passes, though, the more uncomfortable he is with the notion of sharing. One of his obstacles in this story is that he still struggles with the unintentional release of his Pink powers.
Is there ever a bit where Steven’s backstory gets revealed? Or does he just drop random bits out of context while Stan gets an increasingly concerned look on his face?
Plenty of the latter! A lot of Stan’s concern comes from listening to what Steven says and then forming his own (albeit incorrect) conclusion of what’s happened in his past. Since he’s a Big Strong Man who doesn’t talk about Feelings, he never brings up his suspicions to Steven and that’s how the gem secret has been kept so long. I doubt Steven would be able to lie to Stan if asked outright about his backstory.
As to the former, it’s one of my most anticipated scenes. It involves a song, an accident, and a crater ☺️
If Steven does return to his own time, is there a bit where he finds the Mystery Shack and recognizes Stan as his old friend?
I like to think so. The reunion might be an epilogue piece, but the story of Steven and the current Gravity Falls Gang has been done better by other creators, so this AU basically ends with Stan getting Ford’s postcard.
I think that answers most of the questions, but if you have more or want further clarification, please don’t hesitate to ask! This AU lives rent free in my brain and (as shown) I can talk about it at length lol

Bloody Bug Season 2 Chapter List
Alright! Bloody Bug had its "season 1 finale" and we move on to season 2. As I had stated in another post, this will see a mix of my writing style with the heavy focus on drama, relationships, and character development akin to what was seen in Chapter 18, Promises that heavily focused on Alix's trauma and the beginning of her closure. This is mostly due to the characters needing that time to breathe, but also because I'm cutting out a lot of episodes from season 2 as they are no longer possible/necessary.
And, I'm gonna say this right now, to the Marinette stans, you're not going to like season 2's chapters. This will be when she's at her absolute worst, but things will turn around for her later. She does need to go through this development if she's going to get better. Chloe stans, you're getting your redemption as planned (and don't expect a Queen Wasp chapter!)
Without further ado, let's go:
These are the monsters/akumatizations that will be cut (as of writing this, plans may change):
The Collector
Robostus
The Dark Owl
Zombizou
Frightingale
Malediktator
Queen Wasp
Sandboy
Santa Claws (technically the Xmas special, but it's listed as in season 2, so I'm just gonna put this here)
Anasi
Catalyst
As of now, these will be the ones I'm doing:
Guitar Villain is being moved into season 2.
You better believe I'm going to add in Despair Bear
Prime Queen is being added to the roster.
Swapping Befana for Dark Cupid to place Marinette's birthday more in spring than mid-late winter
Not gonna have Kagami akumatized, but she will be introduced.
Gigantitan for that sweet, sweet fucking angst and tension (because I'm a whore for that shit)
Glaciator getting moved to "season 3"
Sapotis I'm on the fence about and is a hard maybe
Syren is being moved to "season 3"
Captain Hardrock because Anarka is queen
Reverser because we need Marc in our lives (Marcaniel FTW)
Troublemaker is another hard maybe
Frozer for some fun, if not sad, moments
Style Queen is being moved to "season 3"
Mayura is a no brainer for me plus I got special plans which will cancel out GabeNath, but give us something else just as juicy.
