Hi! I’ve absolutely loved all of your headcannons-
I was wondering if I could request a: vox/mammon x reader where when they (the reader) gets frightened they literally jump into vox/mammons arms?
Could the characters be separate? Idk how to request it’s sorta my first time doing it
Mammon | Vox [Romantic]
In which when frightened, you opt to get as close to your significant other as possible.
Tumblr media
Both of you are easily frightened people
You are way easier to scare, but still, you really would think Mammon could take a jumpscare
If something ever sneaks up on the two of you, you aren't just jumping into his arms; no, he's sweeping you off your feet and turning tail
Probably makes it worse for you
Because yeah, you, the small demon are scared, but a sin? The prince of greed? Scared? Then it must be really bad
There is no scenario where he would leave you behind; even with a real threat, he opts to run even if he could overtake them
Any risk to your life is too great a risk; he can hire whoever the fuck he wants to handle the people later
Tumblr media
Vox has seen it all
Snuff films, brought the knife down on someone himself, terrified hellborns and sinners into his whim
Not scared of anything, maybe something niche, but hes way more likely to hate and be angry at something than to be scared of it
He is the fight to your flight
The first time someone jumps at you two, he already has guards shredding them into a pulp
More surprising is that he has to register that you are literally clinging to him, and hes rushing to support you with his arms so you dont slide down him
He laughs at you
Sorry not sorry! But that is absolutely hilarious to him, he will tease and prod at you over and over until you threaten to let go
Then he shuts up real quick, because no, he likes what this does for his ego
" Tch. Don't worry, angel; we all know you need the big and powerful Vox to protect you. "
Just wait until you find out what hes scared of and he jumps so high that his head slams into the four-metre cieling
Tumblr media
Author's Note - A small little smth smth, which was nice to cleanse my palette,,, sorry for the delay and thank you for requesting!!

*vibrating in excitement for platonic yanderes*
Ok, so I haven't watched black butler in years, imma re-watch it soon tho, so if none of this makes sense it's cause my memories shit and you can just ignore this lol
Anyway, here's my idea/request, Obv platonic yandere Ciel with a young reaper reader (14-16)? Like maybe they meet through Grell who mentors the lil reaper. Or maybe like a young ghost reader, he meets during an investigation or smth.
Your free to pick which one obv, anyway. I hope you are having a wonderful day luv, make sure to eat and stay hydrated!
Tumblr media
.。*♡ A/N: Lemon, I made you wait a little but I finally finished this request hehe, despite having changed it a little and distorted some historical facts. Funfact: Ouija boards were created in 1891, but for the sake of this fic let's all ignore that Ciel was born in 1875; btw yesterday was his birthday. Congratulations Ciel <33. Also, many people have a hc that his real name has something to do with stars, hence the nickname present in the fic. Having said all that, I hope you enjoy Lemon, I loved writing this! Happy reading everyone!!
.。*♡ Warnings: Platonic yandere content, spoiler about Ciel's brother in case nobody knows about it, ouija board and some typos probably!
Tumblr media
Ciel likes to watch the sky. He likes to watch how the clouds race to overtake each other, he likes to watch the sun dancing alone in its place, twirling its colorful skirt of orange, yellow and pink during the hours that pass until finally the moon takes its place.
Quiet moments like this now, where he just sits in his armchair, his work all done and Sebastian far away, is when he can think about the things he's lost. But also the ones he won. If Sebastian had any knowledge about such thoughts, Ciel would certainly be subjected to his jokes and mockery.
The demon, while bound by the contract, could still make fun of his little master and he knew exactly how to embarrass the young lord. But Sebastian didn't need to know how the boy thinks about his twin brother, his parents, the employees and his childhood friend, Y/n; If they were alive now they would be maybe thirteen or fourteen, just like him and his brother. It was a fateful day, indeed.
The murder, the cult, Ciel hates remembering it, but he doesn't know how to let it all go. He's a child and there's no one he can ask for help - even if there was, perhaps his pride wouldn't allow it. He didn't ask for help when he was kidnapped, he didn't ask for help when he went through countless assassination attempts, nor did he ask for help with difficult tasks that the queen assigned him. He was the Phantomhive heir, the family's leader, he couldn't just simply ask for help.
The count narrows his blue eyes at the brooding darkness that has settled in his office, counting how many grains of sand fall into the hourglass and how long he has left in peace before Sebastian shows up to annoy him.
Maybe fifteen minutes.
With enough time for the boy to put his small plan into action, he pulled a wooden board from one of the drawers and placed it on the table. Ciel, by and large, was not superstitious, but recent events had left him puzzled. Moreover, he had a demon as his butler, a boy with super strength as his gardener, a sniper as his maid, and a soldier as his cook. In any case, he had even encountered death gods.
Therefore, if he suspected that the presence lingering over his shoulders while he worked or the entity hiding his items and making them appear in different places was something to be investigated, then he would investigate until his doubts were cleared. The giggles and whispers were becoming unsettling. Of course, he heard voices, but they were the voices of occultists, screams and cries from when they died at the hands of Sebastian.
But this particular voice was incredibly irritating and almost familiar.
Ciel scanned the wooden surface, wondering if he was a fool for buying it. The boy was almost certain that Sebastian knew about the board, but he decided not to comment; the butler had been rather distant since they returned from London that morning. Ciel didn't mind, quickly reading the rules and holding the pointer in his hands, trying to see something through it.
There was nothing… yet.
Ciel laid the pointer on the board and sighed, placing his fingers on it, ready to start. He hadn't said anything yet, but an aura already seemed to completely envelop his office. Or maybe he was anxious; he couldn't tell.
"Is there anyone there?" Ciel murmured, his firm voice echoing in the silent room.
For several moments, nothing happened. He really didn't expect anything to happen, judging this whole thing as something foolish that only became popular because of the horror stories that circulated in cities. He stared at the board intently, each letter in cursive, every mystical symbol adorning it, waiting for a response that would satisfy him. Impatiently, he repeated the question once more.
"Is there anyone there?" He looked at the pointer and then around. "If there is, give me a sign."
This time, the pointer began to move slowly across the board as if the entity on the other side was drowsy, gliding from one letter to another with a calmness that Ciel himself didn't possess. Ciel watched with intensity, his expression impassive. But inside, a strange feeling took hold of him.
It was real, after all. As real as shinigamis or Sebastian. He stifled another sigh in his throat.
"Who is there?" He asked, the words leaving his lips with determination.
Who behind the veil was tormenting him, holding on to him tightly so as not to be pulled into the forgetfulness of eternal sleep. He put more force on the pointer as if everything depended on the answer he would receive.
The letters came together to form words, and Ciel remained focused, but a hint of skepticism was present in his gaze when the words spelled out a name. Your first and last name.
"Y/N?" He wondered aloud.
Ciel may have lost a lot, but he also gained a lot. He gained another family, gained new friends allies, gained a new chance.
And yet… He hadn't gained you back. Or had he?
For a second, he let the pointer rest on the board, feeling a heavy sensation settle in his chest as he thought about the days when you used to stay by his side when he was bedridden with asthma, telling him your silly stories and jokes, all while holding his hand and looking tenderly at him. You were his best friend. And he missed you a lot.
And now you were here. You were here.
He placed his finger on the pointer again, still feeling doubtful if it was really you or some other spirit. Confidently, he asked something that only you knew. "What was the nickname that only you called me, and why?"
The nickname you used for him when it was just the two of you. Not for his brother, not for Ciel. If it was really you there, you would notice the small differences, as you did when you were alive.
The pointer moved, taking with each movement a beat of the young earl's heart. One by one, the letters formed a nickname forgotten by time and bitter memories of the only Phantomhive still wandering through this tedious world.
"Pleiades, that's what I used to call you." There was a pause, and Ciel felt his entire body trembling with the confirmation that yes, it was you on the other side. He straightened up in his chair, trying to show that he was calm — little did he know that you could perceive how surprised he was.
And you would tease him about it later.
"Just like your hair, they are blue, an optical phenomenon caused by the dispersion of light in the Earth's atmosphere." You explained, nodding as if he could see you. Ciel rolled his eyes but almost unconsciously smiled.
"I see you remain a know-it-all." He teased.
And you stuck your tongue out at him, moving your arms to make the chair he was sitting in slide backward. Ciel's cheeks immediately turned pink as a little yelp escaped his lips. He hadn't expected you to have more tricks up your sleeve, but soon he regained his composure and cleared his throat, watching you move the pointer.
"One of us has to be clever," You chuckled. "Obviously, I'm the smart friend."
Ciel let out a long sigh. "Your knowledge is all random, though."
You shrugged. What importance did any kind of knowledge have now that you were dead? You said nothing for a few minutes, running your fingers over the wood of the board and the supposedly mystical symbols. Being dead was boring, different for everyone, and you weren't even sure how your soul managed to escape the shinigamis for so long.
But you had one certainty; you were stuck in this world for some reason still. In many stories, there would be an unfulfilled desire or a want, and you had several, but you had made peace with the fact that you could no longer fulfill them. So what was still keeping you there?
"Hey, can I ask you something?"
Ciel nodded, gesturing with his hand for you to continue.
"Can you free me? Can you invite me out?"
Ciel had already broken some rules, especially the one that said he couldn't play alone and that the player should have a form of spiritual protection, whatever they had faith in — a crucifix, a talisman, anything. Ciel, however, had a mark on his eye, so you assumed that nullified this rule. Did that thing serve as a protective mark, though?
The boy remained silent for some time, seemingly weighing the pros and cons of taking such action. To bind a spirit to himself, to the world of the living, when he knew he should let you rest in peace, when he knew such agreements were dangerous.
But he was still the selfish earl who liked to monopolize your time; he was still that same sickly boy who needed a friend. And no one else could be his friend but you. Only you understood him, after all.
He nodded.
It was foolishness, but not even Sebastian could have stopped him. He pressed the pointer harder, desperate for it to work, but of course, it would work if you were already in front of him, the dead proof that there could be life in death.
"I invite you, Y/n, to leave this board."
A warm feeling flooded your chest, as if your skin were kissed by the sun again after so long. You savored it for a moment, smiling, feeling strangely more alive than before, and withdrew your hand from the pointer.
"Can you see me?" You asked, your voice hoarse from not speaking for months.
But Ciel didn't seem to understand, not yet at least. So you touched his cheek as you did when congratulating him on a chess victory, and he felt it, his eyes widening as he assimilated the situation. You figured that now that you touched him, he could hear you, so you asked the question again.
And slowly, he nodded. You could only imagine what he thought of your bloodstained shirt and disheveled appearance, so different from the one you once proudly preserved. Times change, and so do you, and you were like this now, a lost ghost that not even death seemed to want.
You smiled, squeezing both of his cheeks and watching him shudder. It was good to see him, good to be back, even if nothing would be the same. Nothing could ever be the same again, but being able to touch him again after so long, you didn't hesitate to hug him.
You were together again.

Hiii can you make an Undertaker one? It’s okay if you don’t :D
It's the Undertaker! I had to do something for him! Hope you Enjoy!
Tumblr media
When Ciel arrived at the Undetaker's funeral palor for information regarding to his current case, he wasn't expecting company. Well...live company that is. When he entered the palor he wasn't expecting to see Undertaker interacting with someone that was actually living and breathing.
When the bell rang over the entry door. The conversing duo stopped and looked at the door. Noticing the Young Earl and his faithful butler. "Oh! Sorry. I didn't know you'd be expecting guests". A male with (hair color) hair spoke standing. His eyes were a dark purple. Which immediately Sebastian noticed.
He gave a small smirk. "Hello (Name)." The male now introduced as (Name). Looked confused. Ciel was equally confused on how his butler knew the male and not him. Unless...."He isn't human?" (Name) looked surprised. "How...." (Name) took a good look at the butler and noticed Sebastian's eyes and nodded. "Demons."
Ciel looked between the two extremely confused. "How the bloody hell?" (Name) gave the Young Earl a smile and bowed. "You must be Earl Phantomhive. I've heard so much about you!" Ciel looked at the Undertaker Furious. "Why the bloody hell would you tell other supernatural creatures about me!" The Undertaker laughed loudly. That's when Sebastian cut in. "He didn't Young Master. (Name) is a Fairy. He lives in the forest surrounding the Manor."
Ciel stared at the young male. "A Fairy? Like in the fairy tales?" (Name) gave a small huff. "I hate those fucking stories." The Undertaker laughed harder hanging on the young male. "Interestly Fairys are almost completely different from those children stories. So my little (Name) here is nothing like the stories you were told." The Undertaker hugged the male close to him.
"Your little (Name)?" The sliver haired male nodded excitedly. "After so many centuries he's finally accepted my marriage proposal!" Ciel looked flabbergasted at the "Young" male. "Centuries?! Just how blood old are you?!" (Name) laughed at his reaction. "I'm only 1,900 years old. I'm actually still quiet young." ONLY 1,900!? Sebastian looked surprised."Why you are still quite young then aren't you."
Ciel turned to Sebastian Furious. "You knew about them?!" "Well of course Young Master. How do you think I was able to rebuild the Manor so many times. (Name)'s tribe is quite helpful when it comes to issues like that." Ciel whipped to the other male. "Wait! You were the one to build my Manor?" (Name) nodded with a smile. Undertaker smiled brightly. "My little Fairy is quite the worker isn't he?"
The fairy blushed and pushed the Undertaker off him and brushed the "dirt" from his clothes. "Well since you're here that must mean you need help with a case. I shall see you later Taker." (Name) gave the male a short but passionate kiss. He turned and looked at Sebastian with a raised brow. "My elders are wondering when you'll come again. Apparently you missed the last meeting."
Sebastian gave a small bow smirking as he did. "Yes, unfortunately we were caught up in a case. I shall visit as soon as my master excuses me later." (Name) nodded and gave a deep bow to the Earl. "It was nice to finally meet you Young Master. I'll see you again soon." Then (Name) was surrounded by a pale green light and disappeared. Leaving a small (Flower) in his place.

Something I find really funny as I revisit Black Butler is Sebastian’s character.
It’s been years since the last anime arc release, and an arc that’s animated as a full season rather than a movie. And I haven’t kept up with the manga as much because I will binge read and so I like to let ongoing series rack up chapters and preferably finish whatever arc they’re in so I don’t have to be left on a cliffhanger for a month.
But that’s neither here nor there. Onto Sebastian Michaelis! I’ll be brief!
I find him so absolutely funny because as we see from his cinematic record in the Book of Atlantic, and later as they showed us the specifics of how their contract was formed, he kinda sorta fr hated “Ciel” and found him to be punitive human not worth anything other than a potentially delicious meal lol. He wanted his soul for sure, and he came forth upon Ciels cries because he recognized a high quality meal, but he a) didn’t expect the job to go on for so long, b) didn’t know his new master wanted to do all the investigating rather just letting him run off and kill everyone and return to eat him, and most hilariously c) he didn’t think his new master would expect and demand of him to do a butlers job in a more “human” fashion.
Things like cleaning each room with dusters and brooms, etc. or cooking food step by step rather than just waving a hand and it all being done.
But what I find so funny is that despite him being a demon, and us seeing that very often, him voicing his thoughts on how pathetic and futile a humans life or goals or aspirations to be, he has found some actual pleasure in doing things the human way.
And it’s pointed out so obviously in the pride he takes in being like “ah yes, the linens are all perfectly pressed, dinner is exquisitely prepared, I was able to do XYZ for the Funtom Company, truly I am the best butler to ever butler,” rather than the “best demon to ever act like a butler”
Like he’s lost in his role, the method acting is so strong I wonder if he realizes.
And what’s even funnier is when he’s interrupted. Cuz he’ll be in the zone getting preparations done, having the butler aesthetic going on and then Bard, Meyrin, or Finny will do some off the cuff nonsense and he’s pulled away from what he was doing, like god dammit! I was JUST whisking the meringue to the perfect consistency but now I have to replant our entire greenhouse garden. Etc.
Like he really started out so feral and petty with Ciel when he started, loathing being a butler, finding it annoying, not thinking he was gonna have to do it for over 3 years and now he’s here acting as mother, father, teacher, uncle, aunt, daycare instructor, and on occasion male prostitute to perform his duties as butler to the queens guard dog.
He’s still feral for sure, but there’s a sorta domesticated feeling I get when I look at him being such a loyal demon servant. And he doesn’t hate all humans, he can still find their lives otherwise short and pointless, but he’s respectful in a real meaningful way to people like Tanaka, Agni or even Elizabeth, and despite being a demon the chivalry he’ll show at times is sincere, and once again, he’s been there for so long. It cracks me up sometimes.
Anyways, rant over <3

You've mentioned that Sebastian a a very powerful demon and that Charlotte is the first of her kind. This makes me wonder whar exactly is Sebastian's position in Hell and what are its denizens reaction to his husband and child? Do they cause trouble? Do they keep away out of fear? Love your AU to pieces!
Hiiii Anon! Thank you so much for liking this AU! And sorry for the late reply!
Well, since Hell isn't exactly like human's society, it's hard to equate. But if I have to compare, I'd say that he's like an Arch Duke or a Marquess in Hell.
Oh, Hell doesn't take kindly to the news of Sebastian's progeny being carried by a human pleb. It's a shame to its denizens. To fool around with human and use them for all sorts of pleasures, sure. But for someone so strong to sire a child with such weakling, a hybrid at that, it's unspeakable abomination!
They tried many times to attack and end both Ciel and the child's life. If Ciel thought he had a huge target on his back before being the young Earl Phantomhive and the Queen's watchdog, that was nothing compared to this... Hell and heaven both out for his blood. But of course, Sebastian handled them all; absorbed all his brethren into the endless shadows of his being with such ferocity never seen before in the ancient entity. Eventually, Morning Star understand that Sebastian was not relenting his protection on the boy and his hybrid child, and wanting to see how this hybrid might survive, maybe even disturb the set order of the universe, he ordered the demonic legions to stand down.
But that doesn't means all is well for Butler and Earl. There's yet another struggle they're faced with; this one isn't so easy to deal with by force.
As I have said before, the demon fetus, with its demonic appetite feasting on human life force, is nothing short of a parasite. The reason Ciel was still alive was because the fetus needs him. The moment it’s no longer reliant on its host, it will kill Ciel. As such, at the beginning of the pregnancy, Sebastian wanted to remove the thing,(he'll even do it without Ciel's consent, just to see him live a bit longer, despite knowing Ciel will hate him). But Ciel saw through him and ordered Sebastian to protect them both. Sebastian could only obey. But he hated that parasite and was struggling to come to terms with the fact that Ciel’s already short human life (and their time together) is cut even shorter still because of this thing. And Ciel won’t let Sebastian save him, just because it’s theirs. Just because it’s his. Human are so different from Demons like that.
For the first time in eons of existence, Sebastian learned to mourn. And what a weird thing that was, when Ciel is still right here. But the end is nigh and it’s inevitable.
Tumblr media
Sebastian is unsure whether he could ever come to love a thing that would take Ciel away from him. But Ciel is confident that he could, and he would. It’s their child after all.

Hello, I was wondering if you could do ciel x ftm! Reader, in wich Reader is very dysphoric about their big chest but also likes it a lot.
They get nervous and pick on their chest a lot and when Ciel asks if they want top surgery, reader breaks down because they don't know yet.
Like, they really want to but are also very scared.
Have a good day/night
This sounds so sweet, i struggle with this a lot too so i enjoyed writing about this so much!
Ciel Phantomhive with a big chested ftm reader!

Being transgender is hard enough, being transgender in the 1800's where you're held to a certain standard is even harder, it's almost impossible for you to feel comfortable in your body especially since you're forced to wear a damn big dress all the time.
Everywhere you went it felt like you were just hiding your true self from everyone, everywhere except for Ciel's manor, you had told your boyfriend that you were trans after you started to trust him with that information and he surprisingly reacted really well! He tried to make you as comfortable as possible and when you are at his manor you don't have to wear those damn dresses, you get to raid his closet and he even orders Sebastian to specially design and make clothes to your liking. Although, being in 1800's, binders or other methods of hiding your chest were not invented yet, part of you didn’t mind, a bigger part of you hated it, you didn’t fully feel comfortable with yourself.
One day you were hanging out in ciel’s manor, he thought you were both having a great conversation but that was then he saw you picking at your chest, again. He always hated it when you did that on the off chance you could hurt yourself and stops you immediately. He had enough of it though and asked if you wanted to have a surgery eventually to get your chest removed.
That made you snap, you never told ciel you actually liked your breasts and did not know if you wanted them off, you started crying, hard and in that moment ciel rushed over to your seat, kneeling to your level so he’s not hovering above you and wipes your tears, asking what’s wrong and ordering Sebastian to get water for you.
You broke down telling ciel how conflicted you were, you liked your breasts, you hated having to be called a girl in public and those breasts being one of the main reasons why. You didn’t know what you wanted to do! Were you going to regret it after it’s done? What if something happens!?
You started mumbling all possibilities that could happen in result of a surgery until ciel cut you off.
“You don’t have to get the surgery if you don’t want to, it’s your body and if you’re not comfortable with taking the risk then you shouldn’t, you are who you are and no matter what body parts you have the only person who can define you is you. If you want to go through with it, I’ll be with you every step of the way. If not, you’re still my boy”
Those words made you feel just a little safer
You didn’t need to know yet, you can just go at your own speed, if you don’t know about surgery, you know one thing, ciel cares about you enough to love you either way.

Counterpoint: Undertaker not with Cloudia
While many people, including ones I respect, are fond of the Cloudia and Undertaker pairing, I can't quite get behind it. I don't hate it, mind you, but looking at things both in the period and in the story setting, it kind of doesn't work for me. Here's some of why. 1. Humans are fireflies. Undertaker is one of the oldest, and would have the least connection to the human world. Hence he finds the stage of human life "absurd". He watches it as a play while attempting to stay detached. While some of the Reapers do dally with humans (Grelle in her macaroni get-up in The Story of Will the Reaper, and Ron flirting with a girl in Book of the Atlantic), they aren't long-term things. Reapers have too much to do to easily maintain such relationships and what do you do when someone wants to ask questions like "where do you live?" and "what do you do for a living?" These are some basic things people want to know quickly to assess your social status. Not only can Reapers not easily answer those questions, when they can get away to see someone (lover or no), it could be a month later or more. When they don't have a clear answer for their absences, like being in the military or a deep sea fisherman, it would be hard to wait for such a person. If Undertaker knew Cloudia from when she was a little girl, would he really see her as a woman? Wouldn't that feel weird, like Jacob from Twilight level weird? I kind of think he'd just have the affection and desire to watch over and protect Cloudia throughout her life if he formed a bond with a bright, little girl who didn't see him as scary or creepy, but rather funny and kind. She might have been the reason he discovered the value of laughter. That would be a greater gift. 2. Virginity was still a goal in Victorian times. Remaining a virgin until death was still a goal, especially with the influence of the Catholic church. You wanted to enter Heaven pure. Those who did got a special crown. With Reapers being in Purgatory already, some may wonder if it's wise to get involved with anyone when the goal is to get out of there.
3. It would ruin Cloudia. Virginity was also important to be able to marry well, as having dalliances before marriage could kill a good match. Undertaker was not her social equal. Even if he could have vied for her hand, he couldn't have offered her the life she deserved, and people would definitely have talked. If she had a relationship with him outside of marriage, it could alter her life - i.e. alter the course of human events by keeping her from the life that was originally planned. That would not be a good thing for Undertaker to do to someone he claimed to care for, nor would it be wise given how the Grim Reaper Association might come down on him. Unrequited love? Absolutely! Feeling friendship or a kinship to the girl who then died at 36, causing him to reach the point of wondering what his own life and efforts amounted to? Sure! Getting romantic with someone when you know that giving into your passions would only hurt them, especially when you know that in 5 minutes (to you) their desires will calm down or they will be married off and those emotions can find purchase elsewhere? Not so much. That isn't love, just desire. 4. Demons don't eat Reaper souls. Neither Sebastian nor Claude showed any interest in munching on Reapers, so something fundamentally shifted in them. So even if humans and Reapers can have kids, how would that have affected Vincent and Francis? Is one of them a half-Reaper? How would Heaven and Hell treat that soul after their life ended? (Angels and humans together produced Nephilim, would the Grim Reaper Association even allow such a pregnancy to reach full term? Would the other Powers That Be?) How would that soul get judged or sorted? While having Ciel be a quarter Reaper is a fun concept it also comes with a severe complication. 5. It ruins the story. The whole premise of Black Butler is about the pact between a DEMON and a HUMAN. If Ciel was 1/4 Reaper, i.e. inedible stuff, why would that pact even form? (Let's face it, he'd be like a dog dropping sandwich. No matter how little dog dropping is in it, you don't want it anymore.) What special powers would it confer? It certainly robs the tale of the struggle that makes it poignant if Ciel isn't really a fallible mortal like everyone else. His choice to walk the road not taken and giving everyone else a glimpse into a Faustian pact where instead of pleasure and power, the maker of the pact wants revenge is what makes it interesting. If Ciel isn't fully human, maybe the pact can't be properly formed in the first place. It can undo the very premise of the show, and that makes it not fun. I like it more for an AU concept than the main one. This tale is a tragedy. We are about to see it play out as a version of Hamlet. I'm more wondering who will be the one(s) left to report that Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead. Let's see if we get to learn Cloudia's fate. I DO suspect her death, and her close ties to the Undertaker, undid the best Reaper of the association and set him on the path of ending death itself so no one had to die anymore so he might find his own end/peace. And realize, if you do like the Cloudia/Undertaker ship, good on you. I'm still going to read posts and fan-fics about them and get some popcorn. The idea is intriguing, but comes with a lot of plot holes that I need to see filled to fully get behind the match. That said, if anyone can fill holes in plots, it certainly would be Undertaker. Ciao!

So This is How it All Ends….
Tumblr media
They finally made it to the end of the bridge. The moment of where the demon must take the soul of his child has arrived. But… was it all worth it?
Based on an artpiece by @moneyisthebestlawyerinh3ll :(
———
Darkness.
That’s all Ciel can see. Nothing but the pitch black surrounding him, accompanied by the soft, ghostly sounds of swishing water. He feels light rocking back and forth and wood underneath his body - all of this means he’s currently in a rowboat.
He wakes up, one eye opens to see a sea of fog and mist, and in the middle of an ocean it appears. Still feeling a bit woozy, he looks around with nothing interesting to focus on… but there is one other figure on the boat with him. A tall man dressed in black, jet black hair and red eyes that are all too familiar to the young boy, rowing the boat with ease as he stares and smiles down at him.
Of course, only his butler Sebastian Michaelis would be doing such a thing; who else?
“Master, I see you have awoken.” He softly acknowledges.
He seems very calm for whatever reason, for which got Ciel to sit up and look around the sea some more.
“Where is this? Where are we?” Ciel asks, composedly.
“You wish to know?”
“Why else did I ask?”
Ciel pauses. He doesn’t care to know anymore, for some unknown thought is telling him that it doesn’t matter now… and he listens.
He glances around the water surrounding their transport, but there’s something peculiar about it - as if it’s something very familiar within. Over in the distance, he can see the day of when he was a small child being lifted up by Sebastian, back when he called him his father, and closer to him is the day when he witnessed his Aunt Red’s death not too long ago. Many more images displayed the events throughout his past 13 years; now they float on through the fog disappearing as they appeared.
Sebastian explains they are part of his cinematic record, apparently it came along to greet Ciel in what will be his final moments. His child goes on to say in such a relaxed, unbothered tone:
“I see. This is my life, this is how I lived. But… I’m dead now.”
Sebastian can’t bare to show his sadness on his face nor in his voice; so he replies as calmly as possible.
“No, not yet. Your death will come to claim you soon enough, Master. And I shall be here until the end.”
If only he could be more satisfied than he should be. To think not too long ago (for his ageing that is) Sebastian was just like any other demon whom would carelessly devour any human soul that he acquires, all to fulfil his undying hunger. But this one tiny human boy was enough to change him. Throughout these 13 years he did nothing but show compassion, teach and took good care of Ciel’s health more than any human he’s ever met. He feels proud to have earned the title of ‘Papa’ and to call the young boy his own child.
Even if Ciel eventually learned the truth, and grew to hate him for lying all those years and formed a contract, he’s still very dear to the demon whom raised him. Sebastian remains sad however; especially when looking directly at the emptiness within his child’s eyes. To think his little bluebird no longer cares that his life’s about to end too soon, no feelings for what his life could be once he grows up, nor for the servants and friends he’s leaving behind, and even worse… the young Lady Elizabeth who loves him deeply and now she’ll be left alone with her grief on wondering why he left her.
At this moment, a distant sounds calls for Sebastian. He turns his head to face the water and there’s something that gets him to gasp quietly. One part of the record plays the night where he saved the little infant Ciel from the raging housefire, the night when he saw that innocent face for the first time, those teal sapphires stared up at him as his tears went away, it brought a genuine smile to the demon.
Such a minor memory which Ciel doesn’t even remember but means so much more to Sebastian. He stares at the scene before it can float away and disappear into the fog forever - leaving but a miserable frown upon his face which Ciel notices.
“What are you looking at?” He asks annoyingly.
Sebastian’s goes back to focus on the depressed shell that his little one had grown into. He cannot bring himself to tell him, he will not like it. For it is part of their contract for Sebastian to never be referred as his father again; and it shall remain that way. Besides, one duty of being a parent is to put your child’s wants and needs over your own as he learned. So he simply answers with a fake smile:
“Nothing.”
-
They finally made it, to an unknown island far away from any shore, with no trace of any other human in sight. This place is destined to be Ciel Phantomhive’s resting place.
The boat is left by the sand, the demon walks along into the forest, carrying his child in his arms as Ciel claimed to be too tired to walk himself. Sebastian recalls always carrying him like this before, but of course, it’s the way he always did ever since he was a baby. He’d held him close to his chest, Ciel’s head rested on his father’s shoulder and Sebastian would rub soothing circles on his back until he fell asleep. A fitting callback for Ciel will be put to sleep one final time.
They come across an old stone bench in the middle of some ruins; this seems like the perfect spot for their trail to end. Sebastian whispers next to his child’s ear, wanting to keep the situation tranquil.
“We’re here, Master.”
Nothing is said while Sebastian (reluctant to do so at first) gently lays his child down on the stone, only after there’s a relatively good distance between the two did he speak.
“So this is how it all ends….”
Ciel takes one last look around before facing back towards Sebastian, his face directly saying to the demon that he’s accepted his fate, but has Sebastian?
No, of course not. He’s grown to love his boy, to the point where he doesn’t consider this to be right anymore. But he can’t go against orders of the contract either, it’s in his nature, and there’s no turning back the clock anymore. What has been done is now done and here they are. Once again his thought process is broken by one question Ciel had left about the so-called payment.
“So will it hurt?” There’s slight worry in this tone, and Sebastian knows it.
“It will a bit, I’m sorry.” Sebastian speaks in a fatherly way in hopes to calm him. “I will make sure to be gentle-”
“No.” Ciel interrupts once more. “Be as brutal as you want. Push the pain into me, it’s proof I had a life worth living.”
He doesn’t say anything. Only surprise plasters on his face. What else can he say at this point? Other than to give in to his child’s final request. So he smiles… and bows.
“Indeed, my lord.”
Everything is now sealed. With that one last sentence, Ciel is at ease.
Sebastian gets back up, stands in front of his child, removes the eyepatch which covered the seal, and glances once more at Ciel’s other eye. He feels sad, but cannot show it. He feels unwilling, but cannot show it. He feels the need to take Ciel back to their home, to tuck him into bed after such a tiring night, but cannot do so.
Ciel will not appreciate the tardiness, nor the sentiments of their past father-and-son bond, so Sebastian pushes it all to the back of his mind… and let those hideous instincts take over.
Red glowing eyes, pointed front teeth, and the darkened breath of the demonic man he once called family… that’s the last image Ciel ever does see.
Just as he thought… a monster.
Silence.
That’s all Sebastian can hear. Nothing but the cold air surrounding him, accompanied by the bitter flavour stuck inside his mouth.
The demon opens his eyes only to see the literal empty shell lying on the stone. The body of what was once a cheerful yet shy little boy is now drooping its head to the side like an inanimate puppet, its eyes are fully closed and he knows they’ll never open up again.
What does he do now? He cannot make himself move from this spot, he just continues to stare at the lifeless body in front of him. He feels his eyes widen, his hands and arms trembling, and his breath shaking as he breathes. Those hands reach out again to feel the coldness on the boy’s cheeks; colder than artic ice it felt. Rather quick for a living being that just lost his soul.
Sebastian didn’t know what to think as many different thoughts rampage through his mind. Only now does he give in that he could’ve done something to prevent this:
Telling him ‘This is wrong. You still have a life worth living, my son.’, bringing him back to the manor even if he kicked and screamed, anything!
But it’s all over now. The boy he called his family is gone. His stomach may be full, but his life is again empty.
Sebastian sits down on the stone and picks up the body, cradling it in his arms just like the old days, he holds it close tightly just to keep his child’s soul connected to his body in some way. All of the emotions he kept bottled up for the last hour have come loose: sadness, worry and regret.
He’ll never see that little smile or hear that little laugh or even the scowl of annoyance ever again; and it was all because of him.
One last thought ran through his head during all the grief and it’s the one last thing he can do for him now. One final lullaby as he rocks the corpse back and forth.
…Frère Jacques, Frère Jacques. Dormez-vous? *hic* Dormez-vous? Sonnez - matines… sonnez les *hic* matines. Ding… dang… dong. Ding… dang….. dong.

I was wondering if you could do a request that’s slightly crack but at the same time angst and fluff? Or you can just read this as crack because idc.
Ciel x reader but basically the reader is a criminal who is almost constantly doing things that go against the Queen but every time she gets caught, Ciel is so just—
Ciel: … Are you sorry for what you did?
Reader: yes…☹️
Ciel: she’s innocent.
Sebastian: what no—
He’s like a gentle parent that gives a gentle hit on the wrist then apologizes because he doesn’t ever want the reader to hate him or be taken away from him because he already has had all that he loves taken from him. So no matter if the reader is using him or not to get away with things he will always vouch for her innocence. So he makes Sebastian frame people for the readers crimes. And Sebastian is getting sick of it because of how repetitive it’s getting.
Turn The Other Way - Ciel Phantomhive
Tumblr media
A/N: I had a lot of fun writing this one! I hope you like it! Also, today is the first ‘fanfic Friday’ as I’m gonna call it. And requests are still open! <3
Warning/s: mentions of murder, arson
You were much like Snake, a lost ally of the Earl Phantomhive with nowhere to go. Similar to Snake’s upbringing as a servant, you met Ciel and Sebastian during one of their missions from the Queen. You were actually not involved with the case what-so-ever, but got caught up in one of the duo’s man hunts as they chased after someone they thought was the criminal. They ended up chasing you, mistaking you for the man they were looking for.
The man in question was a skilled arsonist, setting fires all throughout London without being caught. One would call it a coincidence that you had nothing to do with this case until you were caught by Sebastian and CIel. They apologized, releasing you and explaining what they were trying to do and who they were trying to catch. You brushed them off, rushing to get home. What the two didn’t know was that you had just robbed a small store, and were on the run back home.
It didn’t take much longer for you to run into the two again, accept this time it was much worse. You ran home to see smoke billowing into the dark sky common from the direction of your apartment. You arrived on scene, seeing someone hiding in the dark smoke of your now-burning home.
Being a skilled criminal, you knew a thing or two about escapism, making it easier to catch the man who had burnt your home to a crisp. He was fast, and you’d admit he was also very skilled, but so were you. It didn’t take long at all to catch him and tie him up.
You were dragging him by the rope you tied him with, swearing at him and threatening to end his life when you bumped into someone. Being in your current terrible mood, you began yelling at the person you ran into, not realizing it was Sebastian until you managed to get a good look at him.
“Here’s the guy you were looking for,” you growled, shoving the skilled criminal into the butler. “Too little too late.”
Ciel stood close by, watching as firemen attempted to quell the flames of the burning apartment building. “Is this your home?”
You glared at the Earl, then growled, “Yeah. Like I said, too little too late. I caught the guy and I wasn’t even looking for him.” All you had left of your belongings was a small backpack field with a spare outfit and everything you had stolen just hours ago. You adjusted the bag on your shoulder and turned to leave. “Thanks for nothing, guard dog.” You turned your back to the two, stomping away in anger.
“Wait!” Ciel exclaims, gripping your wrist to stop you from leaving. “Come with us.”
You raised an eyebrow, turning back to the boy. “What?”
“Come with us,” Ciel said again. “You are clearly skilled in something, and you caught the man we’ve been looking for for 4 days, in just an hour.” Ciel smiled ever so slightly. “We could use you. Come be a servant at Phantomhive Manor.”
You shook your hand from his grasp with a scowl. “Why would I want to serve you?”
“We can make a deal,” Sebastian offers. “If you serve Lord Phantomhive, we will provide you with housing and meals, free of charge. All we ask is that you accompany us on any missions we may require you of, as well as completing daily household chores.”
That’s how you came about becoming one of Ciel Phantomhive’s maids. You were spiteful at first, and you had the right to be. Afterall, the Queen’s guard dog failed to save your home, and all of the very few belongings you possessed. But after a few months, you got used to your new life, and dare you say you even enjoyed it. Your room was small yet larger than your old one, and you were allowed to decorate it any way you pleased. The food was excellent, incomparable to the scraps you had to eat as a criminal.
Living with the Earl made it difficult to keep up with your hobbies. The manor’s other servants kept a close eye on the property, making it nearly impossible to sneak out. So you took your off time on missions to sneak off and break every rule the Queen had set in. You weren’t entirely sure why you found it so enjoyable to be rebellious against the Queen, but it filled you with adrenaline that you couldn’t find anywhere else.
You were staying in London with Sebastian and Ciel. You were used to the system by now, hunting day and night for whoever, or whatever, you were looking for. You were often left to your own devices, since Ciel ended protection 24/7. This left you open and available for whatever you desired. Today’s task was vandalizing a new monument the Queen was having built in Central London.
You gathered everything you needed, buckets of brightly colored paint, gloves, and paint brushes. You snuck through the quiet city, enjoying the peacefulness of it all. The unfinished monument left vulnerable, practically asking to be messed with. Smiling widely, you dipped a gloved hand into an open bucket of yellow paint, taking a handful and splattering it across the monument.
You were 3 colors in when you felt someone grab your hand tightly, keeping you from flinging more paint.
“Y/N?” You froze, breath stalling as you hear Ciel’s voice from behind you.
“Yes master?” you say quietly, afraid of what the boy would do to you. Was he going to fire you? Kick you out and make you live on the streets?
“What are you doing?”
“It seems as if she is vandalizing the Queen’s new prized monument,” Sebastian answers with a glare. The demon awaited for Ciel’s punishment with great joy. Sebastian liked you, don’t get him wrong, but he knew there was something up with you since day 1. His glowing red eyes turned to Ciel with a wicked smile. “How should I punish her, my lord?”
Ciel did not look at Sebastian, eyes still on you. He looked over you, and then your new work of art. He sighed, then asked, “Are you sorry?”
You raised an eyebrow in confusion and Sebastian’s smile dropped almost instantly. “Huh?”
“Are you sorry for what you’ve done?” Ciel asked again, staring at you as he awaited your response.
“Sir, with all do respect,” Sebastian interrupted. “Y/N deserves to be punished and turned in to the Queen for her crimes.”
Ciel raised a hand to silence his Butler. “Y/N, are you sorry?”
You were beyond confused but answered the boy with a soft, “I’m sorry master. I feel awful.”
Ciel straightened, then finally turned to Sebastian. “She’s innocent.”
Sebastian shook his head with shock. “What?!”
Ciel began walking back towards the place the three of you were staying. “Y/N, follow me. We must get you cleaned up. Sebastian, pin this on someone else. We will continue our search for John Doe tomorrow morning.” Turning to look at Sebastian one last time Ciel sternly said, “That’s an order.”
You shot a sly smile towards Sebastian, then followed the Earl. “Yes, sir.”
Sebastian grumbled, but bowed slightly. “Yes, my lord.” He shot you a glare before disappearing.
You weren’t sure why Ciel let you off the hook, but you didn’t complain. In fact, you pushed your luck, letting yourself get caught every time you tried to steal, vandalize, or rob. Each time, Ciel asked you if you were sorry. You’d say yes, fein a pout, then watch as Sebastian would growl, then grumble as he’s left to clean up your messes.
After one night where picking up after you was particularly brutal, Sebastian came grumbling to Ciel. “Why do you excuse her behavior?”
“I’m sorry?” Ciel asks with a raised brow. “Who are you to question my actions?”
“She’s a criminal, my lord,” Sebastian continued. “She should not continue to be around you with this behavior.”
“Has she ever harmed me or my name?”
“No, but-”
“Then leave it.” Ciel barked, standing from his spot on the bed where Sebastian changed him from his night clothes. “I cannot lose anyone else. As long as she is safe with us, you will continue to watch after her and keep her from being caught by the queen.”
Sebastian took a deep breath. “I did not know that you felt this way about Y/N.” Bowing lowly, he continued. “I will protect her as I do you, my lord.”
“Use me as an excuse if you have to,” Ciel sighs. “I don’t care. Make sure she stays with us.” He couldn’t risk losing you. Whether you truly were using him, or just doing this due to old habit, you were all Ciel had left. He couldn’t risk anything happening to you or the other servants, so as long as he’s alive he is going to see you as innocent and keep you out of harm’s way of the Queen.

What if demon mothers have certain instincts and habits only they have.. But Sebas starts developing those instincts because he's dealing with a human child!
Considering the deluge of unwarranted Dadbastian hate in the tag these past few days, I figured it was high time I answer this ask and balance out the negativity with parental fluff (*passive-aggressive demon purrs*)
It starts innocuously enough, with Sebastian fussing over his boys’ hair and outfits to an unusual extent, even by his standards. Their shoes must be spotless, their shirts cannot have a single fold or crease out of place, and those unruly locks simply have to be combed 3-5 times a day.
“What’s gotten into you, Sebastian? You’re turning into Aunt Frances,” O!Ciel grumbles. Finnian’s just confused, but it’s nice to know that Mr. Sebastian cares! >w<
Things get a bit more serious with the nest-building. One night, a voice in the back of Sebastian’s head starts screeching, MAKE SONBOYS COZY!!!!! Gardener and earl alike are tucked in with several extra sets of soft blankets. And surrounded by feather pillows. And given a dozen Funtom plushies (at minimum) with which to cuddle. The kids are rather bemused, especially when this new bedtime routine persists long-term, but neither is about to protest such a comfy setup. Sebastian rationalizes that this compulsion is born out of a desire to better fulfill his butler’s aesthetic (the contract stipulates that he cannot lie to the young master, but the demon remains fully capable of lying to himself).
Then, the heightened protectiveness hits. A couple of stuffy dowagers visiting the manor sneer at Finny’s botched attempts at gardening. When tears of hurt well up in those green eyes, the butler’s psyche snaps, and his lips contort in a snarl as he bares gleaming fangs at the spiteful old biddies (Later, the newspapers report that they both perished of double heart attacks. How curious). On another occasion, Sebastian is forced to watch while a dinner guest repeatedly belittles and condescends to his young master on account of his age—until the fury smoldering in his chest can no longer be contained. Smoky tentacles lash out to wrap around the buffoon’s neck, strangling him to death before he has a chance to enjoy so much as a bite of his pudding. O!Ciel scolds him afterwards for losing his composure, though he offers the butler a hint of a smile when he adds, “But it’ll be much easier to enjoy my dessert without his prattling.”
Sebastian is left shaken by these incidents. He swore to defend the earl from his enemies, and he’s under obligation to look after Finny since he’s part of the Phantomhive household…but this all-consuming desire to shield them from the slightest pain runs deeper than that.
Other behavioral quirks crop up. The way he instinctively purrs when comforting O!Cirl after one of his nightmares, or accepting a spine-crushing hug from Finny. The discordant snatches of satanic lullabies, recollections from his own childhood, that he hums when putting them to bed. The times he lapses into his original demonic tongue while talking to the boys, not realizing anything’s amiss until he notices their uncomprehending stares.
But the situation really comes to a head when the hunting urges kick in.
YOUNGLINGS NEED SOULS!!! cries the same voice that commanded him to make safe nests for his wards. Thus, at teatime, Sebastian proudly waltzes in to his young master’s study with the mangled corpse of a would-be assassin.
“I’ve brought a soul for you, my lord!” he beams, the victim’s blood still spayed across his face. “I caught another for Finnian, of course, but he’s busy with weeding at present—“
The Watchdog, who was anticipating a nice cup of Earl Grey and (if he was lucky) a slice of chocolate cake, goes deathly pale.
“What’s gotten INTO you, Sebastian?!” he cries, leaping to his feet. “Have you lost your mind?!”
While sitting in his room later that evening, face buried in his hands, Sebastian wonders much the same. The pressures and anxieties induced by his butler’s aesthetic are finally taking their toll—
Yet, inexplicably, his thoughts venture back to centuries past, when he was an amorphous little monstrosity frolicking in hell. How his mother used to preen his wings and smooth out tangles in his shade. How they’d snuggle in nests fashioned out of feather and bone. How she tore older devils that tried to attack or eat him limb from limb. And how she’d go on hunting forays when her tiny eldritch blob was too smol and inexperienced to catch a human for himself.
Sweat beads on his forehead.
No.
No, no, no.
Nonononononono
Yet he can no longer lie to himself about the transformation irreversibly under way.
Sebastian Michaelis isn’t in danger of a nervous breakdown, but he’s helpless against the relentless onslaught of parental instincts.

Random ask, what do you love about Sebastian and Ciel's dynamic? What made you ship them? What are your fav SebaCiel moments from the series and your fav headcanon for SebaCiel?
I'm so late into sebaciel fandom, just realized that many sebaciel blog are not active anymore. Imagine my surprise when I found your blog and your fics. Thanks for still being here for newbies like me. Now I'm still reading your fic "The Spare" (and it's so good feels like I'm reading canon divergence au novel version, because all of them are in characters) 😄😁🤩
One of my moot, said to me that Sebastian and Ciel's relationship are like father and son. And tell me please ignore sebaciel shipper if I got into the fandom. Now, after I read the manga and watch the anime, I'm confused of those who hate sebaciel shipper and insist that the relationship is just wholesome platonic (including my dear moot)....
Hope you have a wonderful day, @sebadztian ....
Hello! I'm so sorry it has taken me so long to answer your ask!
First of all, welcome to Sebaciel nation!
What I love about Sebaciel dynamic is their power struggle. On one hand, Ciel is the master, but on the other hand, Sebastian is a powerful centuries old demon. Ciel might be the one holding the leash, but at the end of the day, Sebastian is the one who gets to decide how far he could go. He's a very tricky demon who'd try to find loopholes that benefit him or those that allow him to mess with his little lord (like in BoC with the snakes).
But then that changed. Slowly, but surely, he grows to care for Ciel and now he's finding loopholes that would benefit them. He sees himself as Ciel's butler and whatever he does now is for his master's benefits (and his too, of course). However, despite all that, he still continues to challenge Ciel at every turn. It's that complexity of their relationship that makes me ship them. They're constantly trying to out-power the other, but at the end of the day, they're a team.
Another thing that makes me ship them is because they're the only ones who know each other's true self. Ciel knows who, or rather what Sebastian is, and Sebastian knows who Ciel really is. Everyone else saw him either as the weaker, sick little brother to r!Ciel, or they know him as r!Ciel (because he's inpersonating him), but nobody has truly know him as the boy who has grown into his own person. He's not that weak, sickly boy anymore, nor was he the boy that he's trying to impersonate, and Sebastian is the only one who knows him better than anyone.
Headcanons... Funny you ask... I have two kinds of headcanons. If you've read any of my fics, you'd see that my Sebaciels are mostly fluffy & romantic, with some angst here and there, but when it comes to canon, I don't ever see them kissing, let alone saying 'I love you' or anything of that effect. Of course, I'm hoping to see them kiss in the last panel of the manga, but for them to be all lovey dovey? Eh... I don't think they have it in them...
I have some headcanons, but my one consistent headcanon is that they're soulmates and that Sebastian has finally find his match in Ciel. Even from the start, he's acknowledged that.
My favourite Sebaciel moments... BoM might be my favourite arc, but I really love Germany. From how worried Sebastian is about Ciel that he's willing to lower himself and serve Sieglinde, to how devastated he is that Ciel keeps rejecting him, and then he tries to eat Ciel and Ciel chooses him, and how relieved Sebastian looks afterwards, and of course, the part when he admits that he enjoys playing Ciel's butler. And then I love what happens after, ehen they're just hanging out in Ciel's room and teasing each other. This arc is the turning point of their relationship, or at least, these moments are when Sebastian shows us (the readers) that he has changed.
Thank you for your ask!

Hello! I have a Black butler request if you don’t mind! (It can be yandere but If you can make it not to noticeable??? If that makes sense.)
If I may could I request a Ciel Phantomhive x Cruella De Vill reader? I mean not exactly like Cruella but the fact she was born with hair spilt between black and white, she owns multiple Dalmatians which are really aggressive guard dogs for her. And she has a wonderful sense of fashion, even though most her clothes are only black, white or red. She even has a nickname that combines her name and Cruel together (like “Cruel-(/N)”) because she can be really honest and it comes off as rude. She is short temper but unlike Cruella she is only occasionally sassy but most of the time she is quiet because she used to get made fun of for her hair.
Also I was hoping it would be a oneshot, with a few hc. But if that’s to much it can just be hc! Thank you and have a nice day!

.。*♡ A/N: I hope I did this rq justice because I absolutely loved it. Detailed rqs my beloveds. As you ask, I did some hcs and then wrote a little drabble, though I do apologize for such delay in answer it. Hope you like darling <33
.。*♡ Warnings: Platonic content. Maybe typos too.

☆*: In Ciel's ears, the news of a figure with two-tone hair who only dresses in black and red reaches him through gossip that Lau felt the need to share. The rumors, however, were not enough to capture the earl's attention at first. Who cares if Londoners are talking about this girl because she acts different and has a sharp tongue? Who cares if she has some protective dogs who can attack on command?
☆*: Certainly not Ciel. He has better things to worry about being the Queen's Watchdog besides running his own company. Gossip and rumors are not something that holds his attention unless they are related to the murderers who killed his parents.
☆*: So it takes a while before you finally get to know each other and he can get a glimpse of your strong genius. And heavens, he's enchanted, even if he doesn't know it, feelings aren't Ciel's thing. One thing he knows, this night will be one he would never forget.
...
Reluctantly, Ciel was participating in the celebration. A glass of juice in his hand as he watched each of the nobles approach the throne, kneel and say their rehearsed congratulations. So typical of nobles, so insincere. He hated it here, he could be doing so many things right in the comfort of his office. Still, he smiled and played his part when all adults around him looked down on him just because he was the only child here.
The starry night became filled with light and laughter; The Queen was throwing a party to celebrate another birthday well spent. Her age-kissed skin was still glowing, her eyes carrying a tinge of unforgettable joy, and her voice a jovial tone. As usual, she sat on her throne and waited for one by one the nobles to greet and boast about the gifts that were certainly better than the others.
It was funny to watch though. They all just seemed like jealous peacocks, huffing and puffing their feathers, wanting the queen attention on them.
Sebastian when can we leave? was what he wanted to ask to the butler at his side. What he almost asked. But right at that moment he heard a commotion.
A few meters ahead stood the notorious Cru-y/n DeVil, your presence commanding attention. Ciel couldn't help but be drawn to you, his gaze fixating on you with a mixture of intrigue and caution. Despite your reputation, he couldn't deny your beauty, a striking contrast to the darkness that surrounded your name. You were young, much like himself, yet exuded a confidence that belied your age, almost as if you too had to grown fast to protect yourself.
You seemed to be fighting a much older and powerful woman. The duchess who was always looking to fight someone and today had just found her new victim. But you aren't having any of that, making exaggerated gestures and smiling mockingly at the duchess.
Ciel observed the scene with a mixture of amusement and exasperation, at least the party turned out to be entertaining with this little fight happening and the queen was also watching you two too intently, curious, not at all bothered by it. Ciel couldn't help but roll his eyes when the duchess continued to argue and pointed her finger at you.
"Your hat is adorable" You say in a loud and clear tone, with the sweetest smile you can produce. "I'm sure it was worth sacrificing Big Bird, its poor beautiful yellow feathers wasted on this hat that perfectly fit your head."
A murmur starts around the two of you, some are laughing loudly, others are whispering among themselves, repeating what you said. The duchess, wanting to appear strong and resilient, fixes her khaki yellow hat - that barely fits in her head, lifts her chin an extra millimeter and leaves. However, Ciel knew that your comment would still haunt her for months to come. Today she had lost a fight and was insulted.
Undeniable was that the hat was horrendous.
Holding back a laugh that seems to want to escape him anyway, Ciel takes off his hat in greeting to you as soon as your eyes meet. He understood now why everyone was talking about you so much. To the court you were like a fresh breath of air, devastating if you hate it, great if you like it. And he absolutely like it. Not a lot of younger aristocrats behave this way and he really needs someone different to spend time, as Elizabeth is quite overwhelming with her affection and Sullivan is busy.
He approach you and with this gesture, plans to know more about you. He is now curious and his curiosity must be satisfied.

How do you think Black Butler will end? 😭 Most people think that Sebastian will eat Ciel's soul and that will be it. Which does sound the most likely I guess but I also see people saying that R!Ciel and Undertaker are planning something to save O!Ciel. I hope for this more than Sebastian eating Ciel's soul. And I think it's possible too. I just find it really odd that R!Ciel seems to hate O!Ciel now after everything. Like surely he understands why O!Ciel did what he did? Plus, they did have a special bond too. I just don't think R!Ciel truly hates him
It's hard to say what R!Ciel is capable of understanding at this point, considering he's no longer a living human. It's possible he doesn't have all his memories, or that those memories have been altered. It's also possible he does have his memories but he isn't the person he used to be. People have referred to R!Ciel as yandere, and that seems to be the vibe that Yana is going for. I think R!Ciel does love his brother, but something about that love seems twisted and jagged. Still, I think in the right circumstances, he may be capable of gentleness and honesty again.
Undertaker has explicitly stated he doesn't want to lose any more Phantomhives, so he probably is trying to "save" Ciel, whatever that means for him. We've seen that his actions are slightly counter-intuitive, like he's trying to challenge Ciel by putting him in dangerous situations with the knowledge that Sebastian will come save him. He seems to both admire and dislike Sebastian. He's weird and I won't pretend to understand him.
Ciel is my favorite character in the series, and it will be hard to see him die. It will be harder not to see him die. The story has showed us every step of the way that Ciel is doomed by the narrative, a boy who lives under a false identity and is not capable of preventing his own death but simply of prolonging it. He brushes away all attempts for others to get closer to him. He kills people and lies to his family. He tells himself he's unbothered, but his crimes haunt his dreams and he wakes up screaming. How long can he go on like this, especially when his motivation for living in the first place is revenge?
If we had perhaps seen a steady inclination in Ciel towards love and kindness over the course of the series, I would wonder if he might fight for his life in the end. But instead I feel like Ciel has been a pretty stagnant and unchanging character. I think he did remember how to smile, and he seemed perhaps a tiny bit more comfortable around his friends right before the Blue Cult arc began… but he's also happy to use them in his schemes and refuses to acknowledge that they mean something to him. He doesn't want people to die, but he's still willing to kill. He doesn't live for the sake of life anymore - he lives with the knowledge that his soul will be taken, and sooner rather than later.
Ciel being as unchanging as he’s been is a little boring to me, but it can at least be thematically relevant if his inability to waver off the path of revenge is what ultimately kills him. If Ciel doesn't reach out to anybody, doesn't try to change his fate, and doesn't become more interested in living, than what is the narrative purpose of saving Ciel? What would his being alive mean? If Ciel were a real child, none of this would matter, but he's a character in a story, and if the writing is good, his life or death should serve a greater purpose.
You could say that his survival would mean "everyone deserves to live," but that would be weird because Yana has already showed us via her own storytelling that not everyone in her universe deserves to live. You could say that his survival would play into the story's themes of rebirth, but Ciel already had his "rebirth" moment when he chose to return as his brother. Not to mention, "being alive" is not the same thing as "living." Is it rewarding, again strictly narratively, if Ciel is alive when he no longer knows what it means to live? Isn't that a tragedy all the same, only now it's one that doesn't match the themes Yana's already presented?
This got a little winding, and I'm starting to lose my train of thought here, but ultimately my point is, I think Ciel has to die or else the story unravels and loses its larger meaning. But I know others will feel like Ciel living would give the story meaning instead and I'll happily be disagreed with! I love discussing writing, so please feel free to add a rebuttal. Thank you for the ask!

I'm starting to hate undertaker after this chapter, like is he behind all of this? Doing this to innocent children just for the sake of blood? I know he is bad because of the campania and all,but this just pure evil( I really hope he is not behind this and it turns out that someone else is doing all of this)
This was also originally submitted in August of 2023 (sorry!), so it's from many chapters ago.
Behind the curtains
He and real Ciel do seem to be behind it all, as far as the orphanage is concerned, though what Sebastian says brought the place to his attention was a donor associated with the Aurora Society. I wonder who that is, though it might not matter too much right now -- it's likely someone Undertaker dupes into helping, just like with Stoker, Ada (to an extent), and Heathfield.
It's not just about blood, even though that's what we mostly expected. Now it's blood and organs... and potentially their somewhat malleable souls.
I don't call him evil. Yana-san has said Undertaker isn't the villain. I call him misguided and morally grey.
