just realizing that one of my Signature Things™ as a lancer GM seems to be taking the big bad evil guys and making them women. i'm running a heavily modified version of In Golden Flame, and the cult leader in that was originally written as a guy, but now she's a woman. i've also turned the main villain of No Room for a Wallflower into a woman. this just happens in my games i guess

i'm the #1 supporter of women's wrongs and i've got to show it

Bc my group is on its last few beats of Wallflower and I'm gonna be running IGF afterwards, there is a nonzero chance that there's gonna be egregs among my players. My question is, how would calliopeans see the moths?

This is a question I get asked a lot but I never get tired of answering.

I think Calliopeans would be genuinely astounded by the concept of sentient alien life for about twenty minutes, and then would be like "okay so you can like, fix a water filter, right"

Calliopeans would not give a shit that you're a giant alien moth with a partial hivemind, and I mean that in the most positive possible way. Like, there's probably Calliopeans who'd be interested, who'd ask questions...

Redback: a spider-like Defender/Controller that protects allies by turning their Soft Cover into Difficult AND Dangerous Terrain for enemies.

Robberfly: a super-agile striker that gets more dangerous the more it moves.

Aireina: born as a one-off custom Robberfly for a Boan pankrati, this Alt-frame combines the Robberfly's agility with a giant sword that scores devastating critical hits and gets more accurate if it strikes thorugh another enemy
