seen a number of forcefem jokes recently about turning twinks into trans women that really seem to rely on the idea of twinks being the most feminine (or at least most easily feminizeable) type of guy, and idk. these are definitely my own biases and what i'm sensitive about showing through but given how closely the image of a twink is tied to thinness, these jokes come across on relying on thinness as a shorthand for femininity. it all leaves a bad taste in my mouth, even if it is ultimately just a few jokes online that happened to get some traction in particular circles.
