He's not the 'Team Dad.' He's a guy who is being friendly with his companions. He's an older guy acting as a guide to his teammates. He's a man being supportive to his friends. You just can't imagine a man being kind for no reason.

They're not 'Sibling Coded.' They're a guy and a girl who care about each other platonically. They're two people who are friends that bicker. They argue a lot, but still value each other deeply. You just can't imagine a guy and a girl caring for each other without it being driven by attraction.

It's 'Found Family', not 'Found Nuclear Family.' You just can't imagine people caring about each other as a unit in any other way.

THIS is what i meant in one of my previous posts, sry this is like a collection of lovely edits, but specifically at 3:28, its mourning who Tony and Steve were, mourning the friendship they've lost, the once best friend now an enemy, the person they used to be able to turn to for anything and everything now no longer there, this person doesn't take a side but rather sees it the way I do, the way I hoped more people would but sadly don't, they are mourning the friendship lost, what they've lost in the other, who mourns what has become of them and what's come between them. Tony and Steve,

Their: "Hes my friend." "So was I." Is meant to be heartwrenching Because it is. Because he was. Because they were close friends, because they relied on each other, because they trusted each other over all the rest, went to bat for the other time and time again, vowed to be there for each other, made promises they couldn't keep, and no that trust is broken, those vows have fractured.

They weren't Captain America and Iron Man to each other, they were just Tony and Steve, Cap and Ant, their relationship stretched and flowed from "Mr. Stark" and "Captain." To "stark." and "rogers." To fond eye rolls and loving "tony"s and "Steve."s and now thats gone. Now... now its back to Captain. To Rogers. To Mr. Stark. Now its back to informality, to hostility, to a loss of respect.

I love this person and I hope they feel immense pride over his edit because it just... it hits all the feels and its perfect and captures the feeling of loss and mourning and reflection and grief over those few words and now im gonna cry 😭
