“Shiny”
Summary: After a few complains from worried troopers your master ordered armor for the 2 of you. And now some boy were excited to help you customize!
Paring: Cody+212th x Reader (guess what?!? Plaaaaaaaaatonic!!! WOO)
Warning: None! Just teeth rotting fluff!
Word Count: 1375
Read here on ao3! (✩)
Tumblr media
You wouldn’t say your reckless on the battlefield, nor was your master Obi-Wan Kenobi. It just seemed when it came down to it all you were shot at a lot.
Like all the time.
So after a few bullets caught in the ribs or the arms here and there worried some troopers of the well being of their beloved Commander and General.
*Cough cough Cody cough*
Your comm buzzed as you made your way to the training rooms to meet your master, it was odd though because you were supposed to meet with Obi-wan later for your scheduled training.
“Hello master. Cody” You waved to them both already eyeing the boxes that layer by their feet. “What’s this? I though training wasn’t until 01600.” You stopped in front of the two.
Obi-wan let out a laugh and then explained. “We finally got our shipment in, apparently the GAR thought it be a good idea for some armor for the two of us Y/N” He with the help of Cody opened the two packages. “Even if it’s minimal it’s still better then none.”
“You can say that again.” Cody said under his breath.
“Aww Cod’ika gets nervous when we’re shot at.” You joked bumping arms with him.
Obi-wan passed you a breast plate with shoulder coverage as well, some arm and hand braces were included. He himself also had a set similar.
Your mouth hung open as you ran a hand over the white plaster. All the possibilities running through your head.
The awe clearly showed on your face and for the second time your master laughed. “Please go enjoy decorating it Y/N it’s lovely to see you this happy.” Obi-wan placed a hand on your shoulder
You bowed slightly trying not to drop everything you had in your hands and smiled at Cody hoping he would follow you.
“Everyone is quite excited to help with the painting.” Cody strolled next to you. “It’ll be good to touch up our own armor as well.”
You laughed as you started to run a little faster down the hall, making Cody try to keep up with you.
“Slow down there Shiny before you drop something.”
You turned to look at him. “Oh no don’t you start that-“
Cody’s cheerful laugh cut through your sentence. “Sorry sir buts it’s the perfect opportunity.”
You rolled your eyes as the pair of you turned down one more corridor and were finally met with the doors to the 212th barracks.
“Hey commander.” You herd Boil as he started to lay some tarps around the floor of the conman room.
You saw Trapper watching from a perch on one of the couches “We don’t want anything getting ruined now do we.”
Boil and Crys joined the commotion in the room arguing quite loudly as they fought over what seemed to be a can of paint.
“No no the shades all wrong! It’s brighter than that.”
“Are you color blind or something Vod? Maybe got hit one too many times?”
You laughed at the too rolling your eyes simultaneously with Cody.
You finally dropped all the fresh armor on the trap after Waxer finally got it nice and smooth.
Wooley, Longshot, and Gearshift all stumbled into the room, arms filled with piles of armor. Some were definitely in better shape than others.
You flashed them an excited smile with everyone joining you around the pot of orange paint that was so special to the entire battalion.
Peel finally joined the group with extra colors such as red, white, and black.
“Now let’s get started.” Cody clapped and everyone dug through the pile to find their own individual armor.
You grabbed the center piece and started at it for a moment. Carefully you reached for a paintbrush, chatter from your brothers around the room filled your ears.
“You know cyare if you wanted I could help you make your own sun design and then we could match.” Cody suggest grabbing a paint brush of his own.
“I love that idea Kotes!” You smiled back finally getting brave enough to dip your brush into the orange paint.
Waxed and Boil chimed in. “Could we do a form arm brace if the commanders getting the chest plate?”
“Of course, and if anyone else wants to do the other feel free.” You added. The brush touched down on the white, you mapped out half a circle at the cut off that would be right about your belly button.
One more stroke, then another. “Kriff.” You swore quickly, a rouge line got away from you.
“Woah there shiny need some help.” Waxer leaned over your shoulder.
“Really everyone’s doing that now?” You asked in question of the nickname.
“Why wouldn’t we?” Waxer questioned again now bending down, grabbing your paint brush to assist you.
You watched him for a moment before he went back to work on the other part of the set with Boil again.
About a quarter inch above the half circle you made another think line, making a ring.
Cody joined now in the painting of the rays that matched his own sunshine. At one point even Wooley joined trying to speed up the process.
You looked up to see that Waxer and Boil now finished their respective brace, it was in the geometric points that adorned the patterns of their own armor.
The other brace was being occupied by Gearshift who was painting a small ring of yellow that would circle the area where you could put your comm.
The armor was coming together now, every seemed to be just finished up their touch-ups when you announced ‘done’ very proudly.
“Wow it’s looking good commander.” Trapper smiled.
“Yea not bad for your first time Shiny.” Crys laughed with his brother.
“Now how longs that gonna last? Hmm?” You questioned leaning back into Cody as the armor had to dry.
“At least until the first campaign you wear it in.” Cody explain. “Until then your the teams new Shiny.”
The woosh of mechanical doors made everyone freeze. “Huh it seems the council meeting made me miss all the fun.” Obi-wan came to sit down beside you a Cody, resting a hand on the other man’s thigh.
Chatter filled the air once again as the group waited for the paint to finish drying on all of them.
After some time passed your master said. “Well now Y/N I hope you plan on trying it on for us.”
You couldn’t agree more, just up from your spot of the floor you rushed to the newly dried armor and slipped the first piece over your head. The clasp in the front was definitely easier than the ones in the back, thankfully Longshot was there to click them in for you.
The left shoulder covering was designed with the Jedi Order symbol in red matching the one your master also had. The other was the same stark white that you started with.
You slipped on the arm and fore arm piece each side coming together nicely.
Some cheers went up around the room as you spun round for them all to see.
“Now where’s the lightsaber holder on that one?” Cody quipped.
Obi-wan leaned into him to try and suppress his laughter.
The armor felt right, how you fought so many battles before without it was insane.
“Oh one more thing.” You added before you forgot, unhooking the front chest piece you laid it in the middle of the room. “Everyone needs to sign it.” You pointed to the empty backside still without marking.
Obi-wan and Cody were the first the sign. The Boil, followed by Waxer in what could be argued as an obnoxiously large font.
Soon everyone finished there signature, some neater than others but it was the different personality’s they all had that really blew you away. No it was just to get the other troopers that weren’t here to sign it as well.
“It looks pretty good for a shiny.” Cody came up to you as you clicked the armor back into place, he did the same with his own.
The two of you stood side by side, the painted suns never seemed brighter

On the 8th day of Batchmas I gave to all of yooouuuu!!
Bad pick up liiiinneees! (And a good one)
I’ve decided to post little snippets up until our boys finish cleaning their guns…errr season 2
Now this will take place in the universe I’ve built for my fic A Star Above the Rest! Some may be sneak peaks at future events, little glimpses into past events, or things I wanted to do but couldn’t work into the story! I hope you all enjoy them and Happy Holidays!
Day 8 of the 12 days of Bad Batchmas- Bad pickup lines!(and a good one)
Tumblr media
“You call that a pick up line? As if.” A sultry Twi’lek in a red glitter dress scoffed and walked away from Kix. Unimpressed by his lines. Just because she was in a clone bar didn’t mean she’d hook up with any clone.
A group “oh!” Came from his fellow vod in the corner booth. They’d all seen the failure that was his pick up attempt.
Dejectedly, the medic made his way back to the table. Accepting a shot glass that was passed to him. “Not another word.”
“What exactly did you say?” Echo smirked as he leaned back in the booth. Glad to finally be spending time with his brothers. It had been quite some time.
Kix sighed as he repeated the pickup line. “ I asked her if she could take me to a medic because I broke my leg falling for her.”
The group of clones all broke out in loud laughter. Some visibly cringing at the horrible line.
“It’s amazing that it didn't work.” A beautiful voice made the group go silent. Zirena stood behind Kix on the arm of Rex. A short black dress stopped just below her ass and her five oh first blue stilettos clicked across the floor as she playfully waited for all of them to stop staring at her. “Boys” she snapped at all of them to draw their attention. “My eyes are up here.” She knew the cut of her dress was distracting, it made her breasts look massive. Which was why Rex picked it for her. He loved showing her off and she loved being shown off.
While it was true she belonged to Rex, she was also the jewel of the GAR. All the men at the booth took her in slowly, enjoying every delicious curve on her. Zirena chuckled once more before walking over to Kix and running a painted nail under his chin. Bending over slowly, Rex watched as she teased the poor medic.
“A woman doesn’t want a cheesy pick-up line. They want to be swept off their feet by heroic soldiers.” Standing back up she watched as Kix picked his jaw up off the floor. “100 credits to the first clone to pick up a date.”
All the men suddenly stared at her in surprise. Was she being serious? Rex chuckled as he motioned for Echo and Fives to move so they could sit down. “Rules, Kar’ta.”
“Ah, right. You get one shot each. Once you get struck down, return to the table and buy a round.” Smiling as Echo offered his hand to assist her in sliding in, she watched as the others slowly filed out.
“What if none of us succeed?” Jesse crossed his arms already loving this bet. He’d easily win it.
Zirena smirked as she sipped at her drink. “Then I’ll show you boys how to truly pick someone up.” Winking, she motioned for Kix to slide next to her other side. “Good luck.”
-*-
One by one each of her boys made their way back to the table, no number or date in hand.
Jesse was the first to strike out. Failing with “do you believe in love at first sight? Or should I walk by you again?” A line that had earned him a laugh, but nothing more.
Next would be Fives, a splash of alcohol to the face over “If I make a spice joke will you let me cumin you?” Even Zirena had slapped him on that one.
Sweet Tup was next and though his line was cute, the woman was already seeing someone. When he returned, Zirena had sweetly asked him what he’d said. “I’m confused. Someone said happiness starts with an ‘h’ , but mine seems to start with ‘u’.”
Rex watched as Zirena swooned at that and he had to admit, it was good. He watched as more shots were placed on their table by the bartender. A woman that even Zirena had stated was gorgeous. “Only two left. Wrecker and Echo.”
Zirena hummed as the warmth of her whiskey shot went down her throat. “I wager Echo will win.” Her best friend was sweet and funny. Women loved that, if they could get past the metal.
The Captain chuckled as his fingers traced little circles against her deliciously thick thighs. “I believe Wrecker will be our surprise victor.”
“Are you thinking of a wager, my love?” Zirenas fingers walked up her fiancés chest slowly.
“Indeed. If I’m right, then you do that thing I like later tonight.” He watched as she smirked slyly.
“Mmm, and if I win. You do that thing I adore.” With a giggle she felt Rex kiss her cheek. Their bet was set.
It didn’t take long for Echo to return to the table. A defeat under his belt. He’d actually been having a great conversation with a beautiful Twi’lek when another, buffer clone had interrupted them. He didn’t stand a chance then. Kix sweetly moved so Echo could sit next to Zirena where she placed a loving pat on his hand. When asked what had gotten him that far, he happily proclaimed. “ I was wondering if you had an extra heart? Because you stole mine.”
An “awww” came from Zirena as she passed him a drink. “With this adorable face, how could she say no?”
“Easy when that size man comes sweeping in.” Fives pointed towards the clone in question. Though he couldn’t see what was so great.
Everyone watched the final contestant as he patiently waited at the bar. It took a while, during which the table received more rounds. Some they hadn’t even ordered but were courtesy of some shinys trying to hit on Zirena. She made sure to thank them before kissing Rex. Finally, after almost thirty minutes of waiting, Wrecker returned.
“Strike out too?” Fives watched as the large clone sat down with a satisfied thud.
“Nope.” Rex held up his communicator to show the bartender's number. Looking over his shoulder to her, he winked and she smiled.
“How?!?” Jesse was flabbergasted that Wrecker out of all of them won.
“She asked what I wanted. I simply told her that the only thing that would quench my thirst was her sitting on my face.” Wrecker shrugged happily as he took his own shot.
Zirena loudly choked on her own drink at his words. She didn’t know Wrecker had that side to him. Rexs hand slapped her back a few times trying to help clear her throat. “Fuck.” Reaching into her bag she pulled out a hundred credits and passed them to the clone. “You defensively deserve those.”
Wrecker smiled victoriously as he pocketed the winnings. He’d have to tell Crosshair that it actually worked once he went back to the ship. Which from the way the bartender had smiled and looked at him? Wouldn’t be until the next evening.

Fives had been quiet, since Echo had marched on. To all onlookers, it seemed like Fives had just shattered. He didn't smile. He didn't laugh. He didn't crack jokes, or pull pranks.
He didn't speak at all.
And then, he started talking. All at once, a flow of words, fearful ones.
The chips.
And no one believed him. And he was shot for his troubles, and the Vode could do nothing but watch as he fell back into silence. He, they, lived on.
And then, word spread. A program, an algorithm, knew them, personally. Maybe someone survived. The bad batch came, and the clones descended.
Fives came. Covered in scars and silence, broken and in pieces, empty and echoing, but he came.
And Echo was there. Rex and the others had gone in, had pulled the shaking, broken body of their lost vod down, yet Fives had stood there, tears leaving silvery scars to match the rest.
And then he ran.
Faster and faster, shoving all aside. And as Echo finally opened his eyes, finally pulled himself from the cold digital hell hed been forced to crawl through, finally felt a familiar warmth again, his first words were
'...Fives? Is that you?'
A broken whisper, hoarse from disuse, floated back.
'I'm here. We're here.'
.
Echo did wake up, surrounded by vode, free. But he had his closest, and thats what mattered. Fives was different now. Fives had lost the carefree, boisterous laughter, but he had kept his hope, tiny and feeble as it may be. And now, with Echo back, maybe he could rekindle that hope.
Fives and Echo both left to join the batch. The 501st had lost too many boys in blue, but as they watched two more leave, they didn't fight. They had lost both when one had left, and having them together was better than losing them again.
So they left. Not permanently. Never permanently. But they left. They joined the bad batch, joined at the hip as they had always been, scarred and shattered as they had become.
But they were healing. They were laughing again, talking again, one more the ARC Twins, once more fated to be together. Maybe the force was involved, maybe it was luck. But to hear more
'Vod, i swear to the little goDS'
Float down hallways, echoed by roaring laughter and possibly glitter - that, that was what really
Truly
Mattered.
.
(Leave me alone, im crying and desperately looking to make it stop)

Would you mind doing a jealous Echo (of Hunter or Tech) x reader? 🫣
They aren’t in a relationship yet but Hunter or Tech brothers try to give Echo an incentive to ask the reader out.
Thanks 🙏🏼
Tumblr media
The music was loud and the lights were flashing, it was a regular night at 79s and Echo was ready to relax....until he saw you.
He swore he couldn't breathe when he caught sight of you, up at the bar surrounded by your friends, throwing back your head to down your glass.
Hunter noticed right away, and nudged Tech's foot beneath the table before nodding to Echo. The newest member of the Bad Batch had been quiet all night long, and this was the first time they'd seen Echo take an interest in something that wasn't strategy on the battlefield.
Across the bar, your eyes met his, and you offered a shy little wave. Dumbfounded at his luck, Echo waved back, his eyes shining with joy.
"Are you going to buy them a drink?" Tech asked.
"Wha- who?" Echo stammered over his words as his cheeks grew hot.
"Don't deny it, vod, you've been staring at 'em for half the night," Hunter leaned back in their booth, giving Echo a clear field of vision as you laughed at one of your friend's jokes.
Echo almost stood up, then stopped himself. "You really think they'd say yes to someone like me?" He asked.
"They're at the one bar on Coruscaunt that actively caters to clones. It's not completely insane to assume they'd be interested in you."
Echo held up his scomp, "Even with this?"
Hunter sighed. Despite The Bad Batch's efforts to show Echo how their differences made them stronger, Echo struggled with his cybernetic enhancements. It made sense of course, none of them looked the way he did, and he'd only had a few months to get used to them as compared to them with their entire lives.
"Then you won't mind if I ask them for a dance, would you?" Hunter stood up and slid out of the booth. Echo made a few noises of protest that were lost to the music. Hunter winked at his brother, and expertly wove through the crowd to the bar. Echo could only watch in horror as Hunter asked you to dance, begging that you would say no. Unfortunately, you accepted with a smile that made his heart stop, and Hunter led you out onto the dance floor.
Echo shriveled back into himself, completely missing the look in your eyes as you scanned the bar for him again. But Tech didn't.
Tech leaned back in the booth and sipped his drink. "Cheer up, Echo, there's always next dance." Echo kicked him under the table.
Tech slammed his datapad on the table, "Echo, if you continue to feel sorry for yourself without even trying I'm afraid you won't get much pity from us."
"It's easy for you and Hunter, you have mesh'las lining up to talk to you everywhere we go. Of course they were gonna say yes to him!"
Tech pinched the bridge of his nose, "Echo, if they were to reject you purely on the principle of your prosthetics, then they were never worth knowing in the first place."
Silence hung over the Batch's booth as the music screamed around them. Tech sighed and picked up his datapad again, intent on finishing the scientific article he'd been reading. By the time he looked up again, Echo was gone.
Above the beat of the base, Echo could hear Hunter's discussion with you, and it sounded like you were talking about him.
"I've got this brother of mine who's helpless when it comes to romance. Would you mind giving him a few pointers?"
"I'd love to, where is he?" You asked.
Hunter turned just as Echo pulled up alongside you both, "Aha, here he is!" Hunter clapped Echo on the shoulder, pulling him towards you, "This is Echo, the GAR's most brilliant strategist."
"Thanks," Echo coughed out.
Hunter stepped aside and clapped his hands with a smug smile, "Well, I'll leave you to it!" He slipped back into the crowd, humming along to the music as the song changed.
That left you and Echo in the middle of the dance floor.
"Uh, hi. I'm Echo." He mumbled, rubbing the back of his neck.
You smiled that heart-stopping smile again. "I know. I was hoping you'd ask me to dance tonight."
Echo blinked. "You were?"
"Of course! I've only been making eyes at you all night," You teased. You took one of his arms and placed it on your waist.
"Your brother said you needed some pointers on romance?" You prompted. Echo could hardly believe you were actually talking to him, much less think of a reply. You pulled him close and gently draped your arm across his shoulders, gently swaying to the beat of the music.
"Is this okay? I'm not making you uncomfortable, am I?" You asked, all hint of teasing vanished from your voice for a moment.
Echo quickly shook his head and went for your other hand as he'd seen all the vode doing with their dance partners, only to realize at the last second that it was his scomp arm. Not missing a beat, you grasped the scomp as you would anyone else's hand.
"You're not as bad at dancing as your brother made it out to be," Your light teasing returned, and Echo was just relieved he hadn't completely messed things up.
"That's a relief," He laughed nervously, "I was afraid they'd given me two left feet."
You threw your head back laughing, and in a burst of confidence, Echo spun you back into a dip. He was pretty sure he heard a whoop of encouragement from Hunter.
The song ended, and Echo brought you back up to your feet. His own started wobbling as you gave him that smile that had been making him melt the entire night. Fortunately, you looped your arms around his.
"So this is the part where we get drinks together. Am I paying, or are you?" You tapped the skull symbol on his chestplate.
Echo allowed himself to grin for the first time all night, "Allow me, mesh'la."

benchsquad meetup // benchtrio (& others) + reader
i know nothing about london zoo
word count: 1,485
(this hasn't been proofread or anything pls forgive how bad it is smh)
---
You hadn’t felt excitement like this since you received your invite to the Dream SMP, barely containing your smile as you sat on the train on your way to spend the day with your three best friends. You’d known Ranboo, Tubbo and Tommy for a good few months now after you met them through the server, and your friendship quickly solidified and morphed into an iconic group known as the “Bench Squad”, and today was the day you’d finally be meeting them in person.
It’d been agreed that you’d meet in London, film a Tom Simons vlog, and then meet up with Wilbur, Philza, Jack and Niki to film another vlog for your own channel before spending a few nights at Tubbo’s house. You had a busy few days ahead of you filled with recording and streaming but you couldn’t care less; you knew these were about to be the best days of your life. You passed the time with your airpods in your ears with your guys’ collab Spotify playlist blasting through your ears and catching up on missed vods and YouTube videos, when eventually the train came to a halt at your stop.
This was it. You were about to meet the people who meant the most to you.
You pulled out your bags as quickly as you could, not wasting a single second that could instead be spent with them. Shoving through the congregation of people and stopping one or twice to greet fans who recognised you, you made your way over to a less crowded area of the train station to shoot Ranboo a quick “where are you?” text. It took a few anxious minutes for him to reply, but once he did there was nothing stopping you from practically running to where they waited.
And there they were. You could see them not too far away now, two tall figures and a slightly smaller one stood in a row, looking around as if they were waiting for someone. It was then that you were struck with an idea, what if you just…
You snuck round to the other side of where they stood, making an effort not to be seen. You crouched down a little and creeped towards them, praying none of them turned round.
“BOO!” you shouted, successfully scaring the three of them and even a few poor strangers around you. With a smile you jumped straight into Ranboo’s arms, and you held each other tightly as the four of you grinned like children on Christmas day.
“Y/n!” Tommy and Tubbo exclaimed in unison, while Ranboo simply commented on the pun you accidentally made. You chuckled as you pulled away, wiping the tears from your eyes and readjusting your bags. This is the moment you’d been waiting for for so many months now.
“How was the journey?” Tommy asked after you’d greeted them properly and had begun to make your way out of the train station and to the location of where the vlog was going to be filmed.
“Wasn’t too bad, it was a bit scary doing it on my own and it took way too long but it could’ve been worse, I guess.” you replied, the smile seemingly glued to your face. “Where are we going again?”
“This way,” Tommy led you through many busy roads and you really wished you had somewhere to put your bags, which is why you were grateful when Ranboo offered to carry one of them for you. You thanked him profusely, rubbing your sore shoulder from where the heaviest bag had been resting. It took a while to get there so Tommy decided to film the vlog intro while you were all walking, though soon enough you found yourselves standing outside the great entrance to London Zoo.
“Here we are,” Tommy said as he held his phone up to the sign, clearly out of breath from all the walking, “We’re at the zoo!” he showed you and the other two on camera and you all waved, just as worn out as he was.
You went in and got all the registration sorted, and now you were free to do as you pleased! As you walked into the main area the gorilla enclosure immediately caught your eyes and you ran to see them, Tubbo in tow. Tommy started complaining to the camera as he caught up to you and Ranboo simply laughed, standing back and watching the “argument” you two were putting on for content.
The four of you walked around the zoo for a while, filming the majority of it and laughing and joking around with each other. You were having the time of your life, and it was far from over; you couldn’t wait to meet the others.
“Hold on a minute…” you interrupted Tommy filming Tubbo trying to get an Alpaca’s attention as a certain species caught your eye, and being close to the one and only Wilbur Soot made it impossible to miss. “Are they anteaters?”
“Thank God Wilbur’s not here, huh!” Ranboo chimed in, walking over and standing beside you. This still didn’t feel real.
“Can we go and see them?” Tubbo asked, but there was hardly a chance of anyone saying no. So now you were on FaceTime with Wilbur (who was already with Niki) as he gushed about how much he hated those damn creatures, pulling up the infamous list. None of you could stop laughing rather loudly and you certainly got many dirty looks, but you didn’t care.
The aquarium was quite something, too. One of the staff members got particularly mad at Tommy for tapping on the glass and shouting at the fish while you recorded him for a bit, which was definitely a sight to see. Needless to say, you rushed right past that woman the next time you guys saw her.
You saw so many incredible animals and had so many laughs with your friends, and you didn’t leave until late afternoon. It didn’t really matter though, there wasn’t much planned for your vlog. You guys made your way out of the exit and caught a taxi to take you to another place, wrapping up Tommy’s filming there. You admittedly almost fell asleep, but the calm conversation you were having with Tubbo kept you awake.
The taxi eventually pulled up outside a post restaurant which is where your vlog was going to be filmed. You didn’t choose anything too extravagant, the plan was for a short but entertaining video with you and your friends. It took about ten minutes of standing and waiting for the other four to turn up. First it was Philza, of course he was the only one on time. You suspected Niki would’ve been too, but she was probably being held up by Jack and Wilbur.
“OLD MAN!” you shouted, zooming in on him as the first clip of your vlog. He burst out laughing as he greeted you, asking if the others were here yet. “Nope! Bet they won’t be here for another two hours.” you joked, stopping the recording and talking to Phil and the others until they did eventually turn up.
Soon enough all eight of you were sitting at a table in a fancy restaurant, trying to decide what on earth you were going to order. You were squished in between Ranboo and Wilbur which made you feel particularly small, and Tommy was laughing at you from the other side of the table, Niki jokingly scolding him for being mean.
“What? I didn’t do anything!” he retorted, amping up his personality for the camera again.
“Neither did Y/n and you’re being mean to them!” Niki said, a smile evident on her face as you caught her eyes and laughed.
“Thank you, Niki, I believe Tommy should learn his lesson from a responsible adult.” you thanked her, Wilbur tuning in from his conversation with Ranboo, Tubbo, Phil and Jack.
“Tommy, stop being a dick.” He said bluntly, causing you all to burst out laughing.
“I agree.” Jack said with a deadpan face, earning an eye roll from Tommy.
“Oh, shut up Manifold!” He whined, failing to notice the very confused waitress standing over the table, waiting to take everybody’s orders. Phil was, of course, the one to apologise for all the commotion and you all took turns to let her know what you wanted, going straight back to your previous antics the moment she left.
You left the restaurant hated by most people who were in there, and you all found it funnier than it really was. You said goodbye to the adults and finished up your very chaotic vlog, making your way to another train station and taking the train back to Tubbo’s house. You got back quite late and all of you pretty much immediately crashed after such a busy yet fulfilling day. And it was the first of many.

maniac :: cc!tommy x reader
angst (?) , platonic (?) , gender neutral ! ib: conan gray’s maniac
this is satire & note that i write the reader to be a few months younger than tommy (besides that, i think it is fully inclusive !)
synopsis : you put all your hard work towards a useless crush. with no expectation for reciprocated feelings in the first place, it still all ends in a bittersweet slap to reality.
Tumblr media
you grew up with minecraft and it was an understatement to say it was part of your childhood
even years later, you still maintained interested in the game
it wasn’t just a simple video game, the community inspired you to do many things
you aspired to be like the creators you watched at a young age like sky, dantdm, cupquake, stampy, and many more
making people happy and entertained was a dream
and when minecraft slowly began trending again in 2019, you started making your own content whenever you felt like it out of fun
you never got much views but it was an enjoyable experience nonetheless
but it wasn’t until the first minecraft monday you decided to push a bit more with your hobbies and worked hard to make it somewhere
however balancing your passions with school wasn’t the easiest
given, you were still only around 15 and your content wasn’t even that good
with not much of a goal or plan with your youtube channel, you fell out of interest eventually
you loved minecraft but you always a rocky relationship with it; getting back into it for a few months then pretending it never really existed for another few
besides the occasional videos you watched in your pass time, you didn’t stay that updated
then lockdown happened
it changed everything and even got you regressing back to old interests
soon enough you were back to minecraft
there was so much to catch up on
hermitcraft season 7 just started, there was minecraft championships, and smp earth and smp live, and so much more to look forward to watching
you were a bit late on both of the smps but your interest peaked specially towards smp earth and it didn’t stop you from watching the past videos
you first gravitated towards a certain youtuber’s videos first since you remember stumbling onto his videos before from your recommended page; wilbur soot
besides recognizing him from his you laugh you lose series and making parody-type of songs, you didn’t know much
however with a few clicks, you had binge watched his smp earth series effortlessly
you found yourself falling down the endless hole, finding more creators to watch through wilbur
one in particular caught your eye in an interesting way
tommyinnit
my god, how can someone be so annoying and pushy in these videos? like shut up already
and to find out he was barely months older than you frustrated you
you just wanted to be better in some way
if someone like him could be popular, why can’t you? yelling at others and causing problems didn’t seem that hard
and so you went back to working hard on your previously failed youtube channel but this time with a goal; be better than tommyinnit
it was a weird aspiration in your head but it worked
he was your age and successful, why need a better motivator?
tommy wasn’t the sole reason why you strive to make content since you truly did want to create videos to entertain people like the youtubers you originally grew up watching
and with the amount of free time you had, you thoroughly analyzed his content; what was the most popular, how he streamed, edited his videos, everything
you just completely studied the algorithm in general
along the way, tommy’s personality grew on you
tommy was undoubtedly a very loud and energetic person but you became fond of his ambitions
you understood why he was popular at such a young age; he was a natural entertainer
your spite towards the boy turned into a hope
a hope to be at par with him someday and even be mutuals
and it was like your dreams were suddenly manifested into existence
you gained a large following in the early months of lockdown and even was recognized to be apart of minecraft championships
it felt like yesterday that you were just watching your favorite youtubers livestream the same competition
and now you were situation in a team to play yourself for the first time instead of being a viewer for once
not to mention, with tommyinnit as a teammate
how did you manage to get so lucky?
under the excitement, you felt beyond never nervous waiting in the empty discord call for your team to join you to practice the mini-games
in the middle of gathering your thoughts together, you heard a sound from discord signaling someone joined the call
“uh, hello?”
you heard the familiar british accent you spent hours listening to from countless streams and videos
“h-hi! i’m y/n, how are you?”
you hoped tommy couldn’t hear the strain in your voice due to fighting your nerves, but you quietly celebrated that you didn’t freeze up altogether
“oh i’m good, thank you. and i’m tommy by the way, this is the first time we’re speaking, yeah?”
“yep! it’s nice to meet you”
“yeah, i’ve seen your name around the timeline a few times, you seem cool”
oh my god what?
“thanks! um i actually really enjoy your content not gonna lie”
“oh wow, good shit!”
and the conversation smoothly went on, bouncing back and forth between you two before your other two teammates joined the call
once everyone was situated, you decided to start streaming since it was your first mcc and you wanted a vod of you practicing to look at later on as a memory
your chat immediately noticed how much you were enjoying yourself, especially after all the short stories of talking about who inspired you in the past
the smile plastered on your face never left
after stream and your other teammates went offline, it was you and tommy left in the call once together again
“it was nice talking to you tommy! and the practice was really fun, i cant wait for the actual competition!”
“yeah definitely, we’ll for sure place high”
“hopefully. it’s my first time and i hope i don’t cost us the dub”
“nah, you think so? i mean rt and plumbella are also our team mates so you know, it’s all for fun in the end”
you knew tommy was implying the teamwork wasn’t going to be the best compared to the other teams but at least in the end you’ve both made a new friend
“yeah you’re right!”
“anyway it’s getting late imma hop off”
“okay tommy, talk to you soon?”
“yep!”
“alright byee”
“bye!”
the moment he left the call, you felt a sense of relief before a small wave of sadness took over
you wanted to continue talking to tommy but you knew you had other responsibilities to tend to
for the rest of the day, you couldn’t stop thinking of the call and mcc practice
the funny jokes, singing random songs, screaming for no reason, everything
it even kept you awake until the early morning
you buried your head in a pillow and screamed into it after realization hit
y/n no
no no no no no no no
you tried to recall anything that remotely related your other teammates which you remembered that didn’t include tommy
even if it was a few hours ago, you couldn’t pin point something specific
no
i must just be forgetful, right?
what the hell did rt and plumbella even say that whole call?
you vividly remembered everything with tommy and it was clear to you why
surely not
with putting a hand on your chest above your heart, you confirmed that you couldn’t lie to yourself based on the rapid speed
you liked tommy for a good while but it hadn’t clicked to you until now
eventually you fell asleep due to exhaustion but that’s to say you didn’t do so without imagining spending more time with tommy
ever since that day, time went by in a flash
your team didn’t do the best in mcc but it had been a while since then to have that as a concern
sadly you and tommy didn’t talk as often as you hoped but that didn’t make you have less feelings for him
on some days you felt bad since you thought you didn’t know enough about him to even be allowed to crush on him
it was a bit unprofessional but you were nearly 16, it’s normal to have these little crushes right?
eventually time came to rescue when tommy asked you if you wanted to accompany him in the dream smp
undoubtedly, you said yes
and for the few months during summer, it was where you two became even closer than before
however, once both of you two had to go back and attend school, it was harder to catch up with each other
even on calls together off stream, the occasional snapchat notification going off irked you in a way you couldn’t explain
only winter break was the small pause on your disappointment
but even then, it was a slow but steady hill of repressed sadness and frustration until early spring of the following year
you had hoped 2021 would be better than last year but after scrolling through twitter one day and seeing stans making rumors about how tommy had a crush on one of his classmates gave you the same pain you felt when school started last fall
you dreaded to look over at tommy’s most recent story time stream vod where all the gossip arose from; it was him stumbling over his words with the mention of a girl during a certain part
jealousy wasn’t the right word to describe the way you felt
you would never go out of your way to make tommy reciprocate the feelings you had for him
and if he liked someone else the way you saw him, you wouldn’t mind
having a crush is ecstatic, and if he has someone like that too, you should be happy
right?
you tried
what finally broke you was seeing a tiktok a few weeks later of tommy in college with eryn and another girl talking
you didn’t know how she looked like or anything but you wanted to sob
good for him
she didn’t even say much in the video and you dont know enough about tommy’s personal life to jump to conclusions like this
you knew you were acting irrational and you couldn’t be upset at tommy for something he couldn’t control
if anything, you never directly showed interest in him
you didn’t want to in the first place
it was a bad idea from the start
you looked back at the past year and all your intentions
what kind of sick fanfiction did you think you were living?
becoming a content creator, hoping to blow up, just to talk to a big youtuber you had a crush on?
oh my god
y/n what is wrong with you?
listen to yourself, y/n
you need to get some help
whether tommy was dating or even just had interest someone was none of your business
you had to move on no matter what it was and be good and supportive friend
it was dreadful to get over a stupid crush like this but after so much work you put in, you gave some sympathy for yourself
in a friend perspective, you were happy with whatever tommy did and was satisfied your friendship together, but you hadn’t realized how much you gambled from the beginning
and just for a crush?
you couldn’t comprehend how far you gone because you fancied someone
it wasn’t like anyone could get famous and become a popular content creator either
and now with you being on the dream smp along with a successful youtube channel at 16? you were grateful something pushed you enough to work this hard
but you’d never forget the fact everything that lead up to this point was a crush on no other than tommyinnit which first spurred from complete spite
“who’s the one better off now?” your thoughts mocked you from the complete irony
sigh
y/n, you maniac

Suicidal Misunderstanding XXIV
Part I - - - - - - - - - - Part XXI - - - - Part XXII - - - - Part XXIII
Star Wars Time Travel AU #27
Ahsoka watched normal space slip away with a numb sort of disbelief.
Somehow she couldn’t quite accept that her Masters would actually—she felt small and selfish to even think that this was them abandoning her, considering Obi-Wan’s life might—but still—she was rapidly exiting the inner-rim and Obi-Wan and Skyguy were...somewhere else. Even after breaking orbit, she had childishly half-expected one of them to jump out with a wild explanation of how the whole thing was a huge misunderstanding, or a crazy scheme—or—some kind of explanation. And now she was back in hyperspace, on her way back to the front, alone. Master Skywalker’s presences felt closed off, and far-away—she hadn’t even sensed Master Kenobi on Coruscant.
She hadn’t even gotten to see him...
She was startled out of her slowly sharpening melancholy by the sudden clasp of a hand on her shoulder.
“You alright there, Commander?” Rex asked softly. Ahsoka stiffened her spine. Right, Obi-Wan and Anakin hadn’t just disappeared on her—she wasn’t actually alone, and she had a duty to the men who were here.
“Just thinking about crushing some Clankers,” she replied over-brightly. “How’s the Resolute holding up?”
“Same hiccup with gravity in the kitchens during the jump—it seems they didn’t have time to actually fix the issue when we were in dock, but we were prepared for it so it wasn’t too messy,” Rex replied, hands falling into a loose grip behind his back as slipped into his ‘Captain Reporting’ voice. “A few odd issues with our communications systems, but I’ve got men on it; I’m told it’s nothing to worry about, and should be back to normal by tomorrow. I’ll let you know if anything changes.”
Ahsoka nodded. “And the troops?” she asked lightly.
Rex was silent for a moment. “Perhaps we should speak somewhere more private,” he responded finally.
“Of course.”
She followed him from the observation port to an unused briefing space a few decks down, cheerfully greeting each vod they passed, all of whom radiated relief at the sight of the familiar Jedi commander. Another pang of guilt passed through her. She should have already been greeting the men, not wallowing in self-pity. They knew even less than she did about their missing Generals. She had to be more of Jedi than usual, not less. What would Skyguy think of her moping? What would Master Kenobi—
She smiled at another passing group, one of whom she recognized as a Snow Wolf.
“Commander Tano!” he cried. “We had heard rumors—” Another soldier shut him up with an elbow to the gut.
Ahsoka smiled harder. “At ease, Mit,” she said, relieving him from his hasty salute. “I know there’s rumors flying around about, ah, General Skywalker’s and General Kenobi’s special assignment, but I’m sorry to say that you guys aren’t getting rid of me that easily.”
Mit and the others chuckled briefly at the admittedly weak joke.
“Rex and I have to be off now but It’s a long flight to the Expansion Zone; I’m sure I’ll see your faces again,” she said with a snappy two-fingered salute, striding off before they could work up the courage to ask any follow-up questions.
“As you were,” Rex ordered, and the Captain and Commander continued on their way.
Finally they stepped into the quiet room, door snapping shut. Ahsoka composed herself for a moment, plastering on a confident smile before turning to face Rex.
“What did you want to talk about, Captain?” she asked, falling backwards into a seat and looking up at the Captain with careful casualness.
Rex pulled off his helmet. His expression cracked Ahsoka in half.
“You don’t have to do that with me, Commander Tano. I know General Kenobi’s not on a mission,” he said quietly, voice as sad as his eyes. “Cody and I—and I think Waxer, we’re the only vode who’ve been read in on...what Kenobi tried to do.”
She looked away from that pitying, pitiful gaze, eyes suddenly burning.
“The last direct news I got was more than two days ago,” she finally said, giving up on the act and slumping forward as Rex set his helmet gently on the table. “Skyguy called me to ask a bunch of weird question and told me...you know. I felt Master Kenobi’s presence earlier this—kriff this was just this morning...” she trailed off.
“Language,” he corrected automatically. She chuckled wetly and absently pulled out a chair for him with a wave of her hand. He settled into it stiffly.
“I found out the night of,” Rex admitted. “They called Cody to ask about—about possible toxins. I think they were just searching for any kind of explanation. They let me visit him yesterday—”
Ahsoka hunched further and Rex paused for a moment before continuing awkwardly.
“It just looked like he was sleeping—healers said he was physically doing fine, so. I’m not a medic, but he’s definitely really well cared for.” Rex cleared his throat. “In terms of General Skwalker, I, uh, got a message from him the night before it happened about something completely unrelated, then nothing for three days, then a message before dawn this morning saying he had to ‘step down due to personal failures’ and he ‘trusted me to lead the 501st in his stead.’ Wrote that he needed to ‘earn his current rank.’”
Ahsoka’s head snapped up, intense focus charging the room. Rex let out a frustrated sigh, running a hand through his hair.
“I commed him right back, and he said that it was ‘partially about Obi-Wan, but more about past wrongdoing’. He apologized for abandoning me and the rest of the 501st, but told me he had to work on ‘his judgement’ before he could trust himself to act as General. The official memo about their temporarily absence from the command structure, for ‘undisclosed reasons’ came out about 5 minutes after we talked. Along with the promotion of Krell and General Tiin.”
“He messaged you this morning? He stepped down voluntarily?” she asked, feeling betrayed all-over again. “What the kriff?”
“Did he—he told me he was planning on comming you once you were closer to Coruscant...” he asked, looking at her hesitantly.
She let out a frustrated snarl, chair falling to the ground with a clatter as she began pacing the room. “Well he didn’t!” she ranted, attempting to stalk off her frustration. “Something more must have happened, and the council doesn’t want us to know what! What you saw on the loading dock was all the information anyone gave me! For all I know they’re both dead!”
Rex inhaled sharply and the padawan attempted to backtrack her words. “No, I don’t mean that, I can sense Skyguy he’s just—distant.”
“But you can’t sense General Kenobi,” he said grimly.
“I don’t have a direct training bond with him,” she replied severely. “And he’s good at shielding, and he’s usually—it’s not like he’s the loudest Jedi, you know?”
“You said you felt his presence this morning?” he pressed. “General Tiin and Krell did too, I think. Tiin seemed relieved at first but then—”
“He disappeared,” Ahsoka said quietly. “It’s like he reached out and then—it wasn’t even like letting go he just stopped.”
“Krell said he died,” the Captain reported matter-of-factly.
Ahsoka flinched. “There are—there’s other explanations. He might have just pulled up his shields really abruptly. It—I’m not saying it’s impossible, but I’ve felt Jedi die before and it doesn’t usually feel like that.”
Rex shifted awkwardly. The tortugan padawan paced back and forth, trying to release her helpless uncertainty into the force.
“Do you think it’s possible they might be on a special assignment?” he asked wearily. “I mean, it makes more sense in some ways that General Kenobi was just setting up some really intense cover for himself, and—and—General Skywalker got—accidentally wrapped up in it.”
Commander Tano rubbed her temples. “I wanted to think that too...I mean, it would be a pretty messed up choice of cover story, but...I really don’t think so” she said finally. “Skyguy was trying to put on a brave face when he talked to me but he was pretty—I’ve never seen him so destroyed—I mean getting shot down on the battlefield is one thing, but losing someone because—because you didn’t tell them how much you appreciated them, or because you added to their alright insane workload just through your presence—”
Suddenly Rex was in-front of her, chair scraped back and hands on her shoulders. “I’ve been through this was Cody, and I’ll go through it with you again as many times as it takes—you cannot blame yourself for this.”
She looked away. His hands tightened. “I’m serious,” he said emphatically. “I don’t know what’s going on, but you and Cody are the best of the best—if there was any warning sign to see, any enemy to fight, you would have identified it, fought back, won. I’m sorry, but the whole high council was surprised too, and they see him often enough! It’s—the whole situation’s kriffed up but it’s not your fault.”
“I know,” Ahsoka said quietly. “I’m sorry Skyguy stepped down on you—”
“That’s not your fault either—”
“Yeah, I know, you’re repeating yourself Captain—”
“Well, it’s hard to tell if you’re listening sometimes—”
Ahsoka gasped theatrically. “Is that anti-montral sentiment? I think it might be, after special Kamino sensitivity training too—”
“More like anti-anti-helmet sentiment. Seriously you’d think—”
“I’m a Jedi and I practice ataru. Armor would just—”
“—’slow you down’ I know, I know.”
Ahsoka giggled and the two of them found themselves wandering over to the small viewport, watching stars distort and stretch as they sped along the hyperlane.
“Have you—are you familiar with Krell?” Rex eventually asked.
“Not really,” Ahsoka admitted, wrinkling her brow. “I know he’s a pretty talented duelist—he’s got his own four armed Jar’kai style that’s apparently almost impossible to do anything against, but I’ve never actually gotten to see it in action—I don’t remember him hanging around the temple much growing up, and I’m not really certain where he’s been stationed during the war. I guess Master Windu assigned me to 501st duties so specifically so I wouldn’t bother him too much for sparring practice while he’s figuring out his duties? What’s your read on him?”
Rex radiated discomfort and Ahsoka eyed him cautiously.
“I haven’t—seen him on the battlefield. I’m sure he’s very capable. He’s not the most...respectful Jedi I’ve met.”
Ahskoa smirked. “Well, that shouldn’t be too much of a problem, right? If he gets the job done? I mean once you got a jetpack you made it your personal mission to throw Anakin of a cliff as often as possible! And Kix stole all of Anakin’s pants after he kept escaping bacta and messing up Medical.”
“I don’t mean respectful like that, Commander,” Rex said quietly.
“What do you mean, then?” she asked, feeling a prickle of unease.
“It’s nothing to worry about right now, but I’d—appreciate if we could talk about your...impression after our limpet meeting with the Negotiator tomorrow morning.”
“Of course, Captain. We’re—we’re in this together, right?” Ashoka replied hesitantly. For the first time that conversation, she reached out to him, softly placing a hand on his arm and desperately trying to press her tangled feelings of friendship, loyalty, and gratitude through the force.
Rex smiled, seeming to get the message. “Yeah Commander,” he responded hoarsely. “We’re in it this together.”

Reluctantly, Cody and his brothers untangled themselves. Cody, Luke, and Ahsoka were ushered into the room so they could have some privacy. Rex gave Ahsoka a quick hug while Cody examined Helix. Helix, thank the Force, had also not grown any more facial hair. His hair was still pulled into a nerftail, streaked with grey like the rest of them. Helix examined Cody with a critical eye, probably making a list of things to berate Cody about later. And Cody, for the first time, was going to be more than happy to listen to Helix’s mother-henning.
“So, you’re the prince that’s got everyone in a fuss,” Wolffe said, breaking the silence in the room. Luke straightened his back as the attention turned to him.
“Hello,” Luke greeted with a smile, “I’m Luke. It’s nice to meet you all finally.”
Cody rested a hand on Luke’s shoulder, looking at his brothers. Daring them to say something rude to Luke.
Being the normal one of Cody’s brothers, Helix said, “It’s nice to meet you too, Luke. I’m Helix. The one-eyed grump is Wolffe, and blond with a beard is Rex.”
Luke’s smile grew more genuine and, before Cody could stop Luke from saying something embarrassing, Luke asked, “Do you still bite people?”
            That little osi’kovid.
Helix, Ahsoka, and Rex all tried to stifle their laughter. Only Helix was successful. Wolffe’s eye twitched, and he glared at Cody.
            “I’m about to.”
Cody bared his teeth at his ori’vod.
Helix sighed and looked at Luke, clearly figuring out that Luke’s princely persona was a sham. “It was a nice decade of peace and quiet.” Rex snorted and patted Helix’s shoulder in sympathy. Helix glared at him. “Don’t act so innocent, Rex’ika. You’re just as bad as the both of them.”
Luke seemed to realize that Wolffe wasn’t joking about biting Cody as Wolffe took a step forward. Luke stepped in front of Cody, smiling awkwardly. “Uh, please don’t bite buir, gedet’ye.”
Wolffe froze at Luke’s words. And then snorted in amusement. “Adopted another blond ad’ika, huh Kot’ika? This one as feral as the last?”
“You’re calling me feral?” Rex asked in mock outrage, stepping into the conversation. Rex wrapped his arms around Wolffe’s shoulder, ignoring Wolffe’s glare and huff. “Who do you think I learned it from?”
“Ok, we get it,” Helix rolled his eyes, clearly not wanting to deal with the investable bloodshed this conversation was leading to. “Your entire batch was feral, and you managed to corrupt Rex. It’s a miracle Alpha-17 was able to deal with you all. Now please, stop threatening bodily harm to each other- or at least let me leave the room, so I don’t have to deal with it.”
Cody noticed that Luke had tensed up a bit, and Cody immediately reacted, having not realized that Luke wasn’t used to the way Cody and his vode showed affection. Luke had spent his life being around threats of violence that weren’t jokes or affectionate. Luke probably thought that Wolffe’s annoyance was genuine.
Cody gently moved his hand in between Luke’s shoulder. “Udesii ad’ika, we’re not actually going to hurt each other. It’s just the way we interact. I’m sorry I worried you.”
Luke released a breath and turned to look at Cody, his smile soft. “It’s ok, buir. I should’ve guessed that, after all the stories you’ve told me.”
Cody chuckled and messed up Luke's hair. “I guess our communication has gone downhill recently, huh?”
Luke shrugged but was still smiling. Rex, Helix, and Wolffe watched Cody and Luke interact will fondness in their eyes. Cody imagined they were probably thinking about their shines and their vod’ike from their battalions.
“It’s good to know you haven’t changed all that much, Kote,” Wolffe said. “We were worried about you.”
Cody nodded. “I was worried- well, I guess I had always just assumed you were all dead. It was the kindest possibility.”
Ahsoka, clearly sensing that an emotional conversation was about to happen, asked, “Do you mind if I steal Luke for a little? I have a few things I’d like to talk to him about.”
Cody looked at Luke to see what he wanted to do. Luke considered it for a second before agreeing. Cody gave Luke a side-hug before he followed Ahsoka out of the room. After they left, Rex sat down heavily on one of the beds.
Wolffe spoke, “How the kriff did you end up adopting kriffing Vader’s son?”
Cody sighed and sat down next to Rex. “It just happened. When Vader took Luke, he assigned me to be Luke's caretaker and bodyguard, for some reason.”
Helix frowned and rested against the wall next to the bed Cody and Rex were on. “Vader thought a mind-controlled clone was the best childcare option?”
Cody shrugged. “Beats me. But I got pretty good at it. Managed to come back to myself some, too.”
“So what I’m hearing is that you buired so hard you overcame the chip?” Helix asked with a sigh. “Why am I not surprised?”
“Because that’s who Kote is,” Wolffe shot back. “What I want to know is why you specifically? Or you know, why not some nat-born?”
“Because Vader knew you,” Rex muttered, resting his elbows on his knees and covering his face with his hands.”
“I mean, I had done a few missions under him,” Cody said. “But I doubt it was enough for him to ‘know me.’ I just always assumed that Vader just chose a clone at random since he knew we were unfailingly loyal. He’s not exactly a good buir.”
“No,” Rex said a little louder, sitting up, “No, he knows you. Knew you. Whatever.”
“Rex’ika,” Cody said slowly, concern growing for his upset vod’ika, “What do you mean?”
Rex didn’t answer. He just stood up and started to pace. After a minute, Rex stopped and looked at them. “Vader is Skywalker.”
            What. The. Fuck.
“Skywalker? As in your general, that Skywalker?” Wolffe asked incredulously. “As in Tano’s master, that Skywalker? The jetti that died in the Purge, with the other jetti, that Skywalker?”
“Yes!” Rex exclaimed, cutting off Wolffe’s question, tears forming in his eyes. “Yes, that Skywalker! He turned, ‘Fell', or whatever and became a dar’jetti and helped kill the other jetti.”
It was silent after Rex’s outburst. Rex was breathing hard and wiping away tears. Cody’s thoughts had stopped working, making connections between his sweet ad’ika and the bastard Vader.
And kriff-Luke did look like Skywalker, didn’t he? Then who was Luke’s mom-
Never mind, Cody knew who it was. At least Luke had taken after her in personality.
“Well, shit,” Helix said bluntly, perfectly summing up every one of Cody’s current feelings.
“Yeah, you can say that again,” Wolffe muttered, looking ready to march into the heart of the Empire and kill Vader.
If Skywalker had fallen, had been involved with Order 66, had Obi-wan known? Had Obi-wan known that his padawan, someone whom he had confessed to Cody was like a vod’ika, had been involved in the death of the Jedi? Or was the universe kind to Obi-wan for once and let him die thinking Anakin was still in the Light?
Why did Skywalker get to live instead of Obi-wan?
“Breath, vod, breath.” Helix was gently shaking his shoulder. Cody looked at him, having not noticed Helix moving. “Cody, breath.”
Cody inhaled sharply, his chest burning with the lack of air. And he took another breath, perhaps too quickly. But it felt like he couldn’t get enough air in. There was a band constricting around his lungs. Was this what Obi-wan felt like as he fell from that cliff, knowing the vode had been the one to shoot him?
Arms wrapped Cody’s chest, pulling him back into a broad chest. Cody could feel the chest moving in exaggerated breaths. Cody forced himself to try and copy the movements, vaguely recognizing the technique for helping someone through a panic attack.
Was that what was Cody was having?
A smaller set of arms wrapped around Cody’s neck. A voice murmured into his ear, “It’s ok, buir. We’re gonna be ok.”
Cody recognized Luke’s voice, recognized the twinge of concern in it. Cody wrapped his arms around Luke, pulling him into Cody’s chest. The person behind him hadn’t left. Cody recognized the stylized wolf tattoo on Wolffe’s forearm.
Cody released a deep breath and rested his head against his ori’vod’s shoulder. It was an unfortunately familiar position between their batch from their youth on Kamino.
“You back with us, Cody?” Helix asked from Cody’s side. Cody opened his eyes to look at Helix. Helix was kneeling on the bed next to Cody, Wolffe, and Luke. Behind him, Ahsoka was standing with an arm wrapped around Rex.
Cody grunted in response to Helix, causing Helix to roll his eyes at the typical response. Cody felt Luke chuckle into his shoulder. Cody removed one of his arms from around Luke, held it out to the room's other occupants, and closed his eyes again. Helix moved closer, wrapping an arm around Wolffe’s shoulder and resting his head on Cody’s. One of Wolffe’s arms moved from underneath Luke to wrap around Rex, who had moved to sit on Wolffe’s other side. Luke shifted slightly to let Rex rest partially on Cody. Cody felt a little proud that Luke had quickly adjusted and accepted how vode-piles worked.
When Cody didn’t hear or feel Ahsoka join them, he grunted again. “Get over here, al’verd’ika.”
Ahsoka curled around Rex and Wolffe, resting one of her arms across Rex and Luke. Both she and Luke practically melted into the pile, and Cody was reminded that Obi-wan had once mentioned how safe and comforting the vode-piles felt.
“You’re a kriffing Tooka, Kot’ika,” Wolffe grunts at the bottom of the pile. Cody didn’t respond; he just smiled smugly.
He tightened his hold on Luke, swearing to himself, Obi-wan, and Senator Amidala that he would never let Vader even look at Luke.
And that, given a chance, he would turn off Vader’s life support.

How the Bad Batch react to Omega being upset (HC’s)
Hello there!
I have written more Headcanons! I do so enjoy writing these.
This one is a sort of continuation of the last one I did, that you can find right here.
So, as the title stipulates, this one is about the Bad Batch reacting to Omega being upset. It’s gonna be slightly AU, as I will be including Crosshair. Our boys aren’t really shown to be processing their emotions as they are constantly on the move (and are apparently built to withstand stress), so I thought I’d write a little something about how I think they would help Omega process her emotions.
Warnings: Fluff galore! Lots and lots of it. There will be quite a bit of angst and minor mentions of violence. Slightly AU. Some swearing (both English and Mando’a – forgive me if the Mando’a isn’t right. I relied heavily on the internet for the translations). Also, I never got it proof read so sorry in advance if there's any grammar/spelling mistakes!
Happy reading!
Hunter:
· We all know Hunter is stoic and acts like a tough, no-nonsense leader, but under that dark and broody façade is a sweet man who loves Omega with all his heart. She is very precious to him and he’s very glad that they took her with them when they escaped from Kamino.
· She managed to push past his tough exterior and unlock emotions within him that he didn’t even know he had. Watching her grow as a person and experience the galaxy brings him so much happiness and he’s glad that he gets to experience it with her.
· So, when Omega is hurting, he hurts too, and not just because he can sense when she is upset by the way her breathing changes or the sounds of her very quiet sobs that anyone else would struggle to hear.
· He doesn’t like seeing her sad but, in the beginning, he doesn’t quite know what to do when she’s upset, as he’s never really had to deal with an upset child before.
· He doesn’t really go for physical contact with anyone because of his enhanced senses, and at first, he is reluctant to hug her back when she hugs him usually he would just put his hands on her shoulders and try to talk to her.
· But Omega is too sweet and pure and deserves all the love in the world, so the resolute walls he built up from being a soldier came crashing down and he finally hugged her one day when she was particularly sad and exhausted.
· He just held her close and gently rubbed her shoulders, telling her that everything would be okay, and promised her that he would always be there to look after her. He would never leave her, and he would never let anyone hurt her.
· The hug also puts him at ease too and after a while even his senses become used to it and it doesn’t bother him. He also needs this as much as she does, even if he doesn’t realise it at first. (Tech was right all those months ago when he was rambling about the benefits of a hug).
· He will never push for her to tell him what’s wrong, but will let her know that when she’s ready to talk he will be there to listen and offer support.
· Omega will often fall asleep, safe, and warm, in Hunter’s arms. He sometimes falls asleep too, relieved that he could be there for her and that she was safe in his arms, protected from harm.
Wrecker:
· A lot of people think that Wrecker is just big and loud, so how could he possibly be a comforting presence when someone is upset?
· Well, for one, he is the best hugger out of the Bad Batch and when people are upset, particularly Omega, he is usually the first to notice (after Hunter and his enhanced senses).
· He took to Omega basically straight away when the Bad Batch escaped Kamino with her. They have the same excitable energy and constantly hype each other up.
· They have a very special bond, and he hates seeing her upset and will do anything to see her smile again. Seeing her sad makes him upset and angry. He just wants her to be happy.
· He will scoop her up in his arms and hold her until she calms down, humming a random tune to soothe her.
· He will try to make her laugh by telling awful dad jokes and he will let her hold Lula because Lula helps him when he’s upset. He will also grab the Tooka doll he made her, called AZ, because double the tooka, double the happiness.
· When Omega does finally smile, Wrecker’s heart will soar. He feels that sometimes people judge him and fear him because of his appearance, but when Omega seeks him out when she is upset and he can make her smile again, it makes him realise that maybe people are wrong about him and that he’s wrong about himself - maybe he’s not so scary after all. He does in fact understand the need for subtlety and softness when it comes to comforting someone, despite what appearances suggest.
· When she has calmed down and is ready to talk about what’s wrong, he will be like “Who made you upset? Was it Crosshair? Because I’ll kick his shebs!”
· Once any ass-kickings have been given (if needed), they will seek out some food together (Mantell Mix is a favourite, of course).
· They will laugh and joke and have the biggest grins on their faces, happy to be in each other’s presence.
Tech:
· Tech, the clever clogs that he is, knew how special Omega was from the beginning when he analysed her DNA.
· However, he was still a little awkward around her at first because he, like the rest of his brothers, wasn’t used to having a child around, but they ended up bonding over their mutual love of knowledge and Omega hanging on his every word, especially when it came to teaching her about the Marauder. He likes that she doesn’t brush him off when he tells her facts, and actually asks him more questions and genuinely likes learning what she can from him.
· Now, Tech is a very smart man and has gathered knowledge about what to do if someone is upset, you know, just in case he ever needed to comfort someone.
· In theory, comforting someone seems pretty straightforward, but putting it into practise? Not as straightforward as it seems!
· Omega was upset one day, and usually she would seek out Hunter or Wrecker, but they weren’t there. He knew he had to do something, as he didn’t like to see her upset. But the thought of trying to console her made him slightly uncomfortable. What if he made her feel worse rather than better?
· He pushed his anxiety to the side anyway and asked her what was wrong, but she just sniffed and shook her head, leaving Tech to search his brain for what he should do next. He internally berated himself for being slow in providing comfort, because the longer he took to think of something, the longer Omega was upset.
· After a few long, slightly uncomfortable moments he said “You know, I have read that hugs have been proven to reduce stress and they also release oxytocin- “
· Before he could even finish his sentence, Omega threw her arms around him and held tight. He awkwardly patted her back at first, but then relaxed and hugged her properly. He held her tight and sat quietly for a few moments, letting her get her breathing back under control.
· He also started to feel the benefits of the hug and finished telling Omega why hugs are healthy. She looked up at him and smiled, thanking him for making her feel better. Seeing her smile at him like that made his heart melt and he was so relieved that he could help her feel better. He knew that information about hugs would come in handy one day!
· Omega would then tell the rest of the batchers this and try to get all of them to hug regularly, for the sake of their health! This idea was met with varying degrees of enthusiasm.
Echo:
· Echo wasn’t so sure about having Omega aboard the Marauder at first, mostly because he didn’t think she would be safe travelling with them.
· But then he saw how well she fit in, and he realised that she belonged with them.
· During his time as an ARC trooper, Echo saw some pretty messed up shit on the dangerous missions he was sent on (often with Fives). Some of these missions gave him terrible nightmares, and he would wake up shouting and terrified. Fives would calm him down and hug him, saying “It’s okay, vod, you’re safe”. He would also do the same for Fives if he ever had nightmares. He still has nightmares from when he was imprisoned at Skako Minor.
· One night, Hunter, Wrecker and Tech were out getting supplies, leaving Echo on the ship with Omega and Crosshair. Omega had retired to her room at his request to get some sleep a few hours before.
· He then heard small, quiet whimpers coming from Omega’s little room and immediately went to see if she was ok. By the time he climbed up the ladder, she was awake and looked terrified, and the scared look on her face reminded him of himself and Fives, when they would awaken in the dead of night, from dreams plagued with war and darkness.
· He asked her if she had a nightmare and she nodded her head, so he helped her down the ladder, and took her to sit down in one of the chairs in the cockpit, stopping to get a blanket along the way.
· He put the blanket around her, and she immediately leaned into him, searching for comfort, and he hesitantly put his arms around her, worried that his cybernetics would hurt her.
· However, she didn’t make any sign that his cybernetics bothered her, so he held her more firmly and let her cry, while he whispered, “It’s ok, vod’ika, you’re safe”, just like Fives would whisper to him.
· He let silent tears of his own fall, thinking about how unfair it was that Fives wasn’t there with him, about the war that had taken so many of his brothers. He hated that Omega was going through this, she was too young! He composed himself, putting on the mask of a tough soldier, and asked Omega what her nightmare was about.
· He vowed that night that he would always be there for Omega, no matter what.
Crosshair:
· Crosshair was very against having Omega aboard the Marauder. She was a child, had no combat experience, and would be a liability.
· He found her irritating at first, she and Wrecker were always doing something and were too energetic for his tastes. He tried to avoid her as much he could, which was difficult to do on the Marauder. He was even sarcastic and downright rude to her a few times, which the rest of his brothers reprimanded him for.
· Yet, no matter how sarcastic or unpleasant he was, Omega would still try to talk to him. She always made an effort to ask how he was, to engage him in conversation. And she always made sure he was included in every discussion the group had. She even came to him for advice about shooting her bow on a few occasions.
· She started to grow on him, and after a while he got used to her presence and even started to enjoy it, and he stopped trying to avoid her and actually held conversations with her. She was a little ray of sunlight in their ragtag group. But there was no way in hell he would ever admit that to anyone, he even had trouble admitting that to himself!
· One day, he was asked to stay behind with Omega because she needed a break, whilst the other batchers went to do an easy job for Cid. Apparently Hunter had decided that Wrecker’s, Tech’s and Echo’s skills would be needed more than Crosshair’s for that job.
· He heard Omega crying, and he froze. What the kriff was he supposed to do with a crying child? That was usually Hunter or Wrecker’s territory. Kriff, even Tech and Echo would be a better choice than him.
· But they weren’t there, and he couldn’t very well leave Omega to sit and cry on her own, could he? Even he wasn’t that cold.
· He approached her slowly, and knelt in front of her, intent on asking her what was wrong and trying to fix it as fast as possible. Before he opened his mouth, she threw her arms around him. He sat frozen for what felt like hours, arms limp at his side whilst Omega held him and cried. He brought his arms up and patted her on the back a few times before drawing her slowly away from him and looking at her.
· “Come with me,” he said, and he took her to a little makeshift target practise range he had made for himself to let off some steam when he needed to, making sure she brought her bow with her. They stood side by side like that for a while, Omega shooting her bow and Crosshair occasionally giving her advice on how to shoot more accurately.
· From that point on, Crosshair and Omega became closer and would use the practise range together when everything got a little too much for them. And Crosshair vowed quietly to himself that he would never let anyone harm their little ray of sunshine.

Soothe You
pairing: Hunter x fem reader
Category: hurt comfort, fluff
Warnings: angst, brief innuendo
Rating: PG
note: for my dear friend Lynn, it’s not my best work but I hope it makes you smile 💞💞💞💞
Tumblr media
Being part of Clone Force 99 wasn’t an easy job at all, full stop. They were loud, rowdy, and every job they took was very dangerous, and when they weren’t on a mission? It was still as wild. Not many people meshed well with them either, and they were well aware of it, Crosshair would scowl at people so harshly sometimes that would be all it would take to scare someone away, but luckily they had you there.
When you first showed up on the job as their new mechanic, the first thing Wrecker bellowed to his brothers was “WE GOT ANOTHER!” Leaving you a little more concerned about exactly how hard this new assignment would be, but it turned out pretty well. You were a very hard worker, and very pleasant to be around, the only time they had seen you snap was at some rude patrons at 79’s and when you shot some droids when they needed some help, but your dedication sealed the deal. It didn’t matter what the task was, you worked it through til the end whether it was fixing their ship up, helping Echo with his cybernetic parts, or being a comforting presence, they all liked you a lot.
Especially Hunter.
Echo was the first to notice the way the Sergeant would watch you, a soft look on his face as he’d shuffle his feet, and when he decided to mention this observation to Tech one day quietly, he was surprised to see him get a mischievous look on his face and call over Crosshair and Wrecker, claiming they needed to do something about it. Their plan started with testing the theory a bit more, and they couldn’t help but snicker watching their vod pout a bit as he watched you work on Echo’s arm, Wrecker laughed even louder when Hunter spoke up “(y/n), can you check something with the engine real quick? It....sputtered.”
You didn’t notice his crush on you at first, but you certainly felt the same way about him, how could you not when he looked like that? Not to mention how skilled he was and that voice...it was too much. Now, actually telling anyone about those feelings was a different story, but apparently the rest of the Batch had apparently hyped Hunter up once they finally got him to open up, and he approached you one day with a handful of flowers from the fields nearby, telling you “I looked in that field for hours, but none of the flowers came close to your beauty, but these were the best of the bunch,” leaning closer to whisper he had added. “It’s not near as good as you deserve, but I hope you like them mesh’la.” You thought you’d combust from happiness at the moment, but instead you let out a happy squeak and Hunter almost melted.
You two had been dating for almost a month now, it hasn’t gotten too serious yet since you were both busy and wanted to take things slow, he refused to do anything you were 120% comfortable with and would glare at the boys whenever they made any jokes about you two. He was really the best, and he loved having you around even just to sit and look at the stars or help each other with a project, he had never smiled this much before you, and his brothers noticed. It was perfect, slow and sweet, but of course life outside of your relationship wasn’t always so nice.
Hunter and his brothers had a very difficult job for sure, and that came with lots of tension and instances of very grumpy or upset clones, and you did your best to make it through it and be a good shoulder to lean on, but sometimes it felt like a little too much to handle. You’d been having a rough day, and the problems with the ship you were trying to fix didn’t seem to be getting resolved and you finally snapped from the stress and threw your tools down to go outside, needing to escape the dark hull of the Havoc Marauder.
“I just can’t keep doing all this,” you huffed out once you found a tree to lean against, hugging your knees to your chest as you let out a sigh. “I’m failing them...” burying your face in your knees, you closed your eyes and tried to calm down, not wanting them to see you like that.
You could faintly hear the Batch off in the distance returning to their ship, Wrecker loudly laughing about something before it got silent, they must have noticed you weren’t there. Stiffening a bit, you hoped they wouldn’t find you right now, but when you’re dating the leader of Clone Force 99 who has enhanced senses, you weren’t going to be alone for long.
“Cyar’ika?” you heard next to you, flinching a bit. You knew he was quick at this tracking stuff but that was too fast. “Are you hurt?” He asked with a worried frown, putting a gentle hand on your shoulder as he kneeled next to you.
You tried not to look at him, feeling tears start to build up from his worry and gentle touch, but he gently turned you to face him. “(y/n), can I hold you?” He asked carefully, and that broke your restraint as you sobbed and let him cuddle you to his chest like a kitten.
“I’m sorry,” you hiccuped. “I’m just upset and I don’t know what to do, and I feel like I’m failing you.”
“Cyar’ika, you’re not failing me, you do more work than we do at times, and not feeling good isn’t a failure, its just a sign that you need some help and love,” he shushed you as he ran his hand through your hair, his rough voice calming you slowly.
“But how do I make it stop? I don’t want to be this way all the time.” You sighed.
“When I get overwhelmed, I go to my bunk and lay down to take deep breaths, and I think of things that make me feel good—like you.” He grinned. “You’ve seen how I get when I get sensory overload, that stuff happens to all of us. You help me through it, may I help you?”
Looking up after a moment, you were met by his earnest eyes as he seemed to hold you tighter, refusing to let you go til you felt better. Smiling softly, you nodded. “Yes please...”
You yelped a bit when he stood up and scooped you up, still holding you to his chest as he walked to the ship, ignoring his brothers who started asking him a million questions, scowling at them as he held you protectively. “Where are we going?” You whispered as he swatted away Tech. “My bunk,” he flushed when he noticed your look. “No no not like that! It’s just the closest quiet spot.”
Reaching his bunk room, he laid down and let you rest next to him, pulling his weighted blanket over both of you as he let you get settled. “Now what?” You asked with a giggle.
“Just lay down and close your eyes ok,”
He answered.
Closing your eyes, you almost rolled back over to gape at him when you started hearing humming. Staying still, a small smile spread across your face as you listened more closely to him. If anyone had told you Hunter was a great singer you wouldn’t have believed it but your proof was laying next to you.
He mumbled some of the lines of the soft song he was singing, but his rich voice and gentle hum was slowly helping you relax into a drowsy state. You started to hum along with him, and after a brief pause, he sung with you with more confidence, curling against you tighter as you both started to drift off to sleep.....
*********************
Blinking your eyes open, you stretched slowly before turning over to look at Hunter, smiling at how peaceful he looked in his sleep. Unfortunately the peace was interrupted when someone started knocking on the door. “Breakfast is ready, hurry up, it will be cold in about five minutes, or eaten by us in ten.” Tech said through the door, walking away with a sigh as a ruckus came from another part of the ship.
“Kriff how long were we asleep?” Hunter yawned as he woke up, frowning a bit from the sudden noise of his brothers. “Ah they were fine by themselves I’m sure. How are you now mesh’la? Feeling better?”
“Yes, thank you Hunter,” you smiled at him, before asking. “Have you ever sung around anyone before?”
Looking a bit sheepish, he shrugged as he sat up and replied. “Ah no, I didn’t think I was very good and didn’t want the boys making fun of me.”
Sitting up, you threw your arms around him and gave him a kiss, smiling when you felt him return it, a pleased hum rumbling from his chest. Pulling away, you sighed. “Thank you so much, that means a lot to me that you trusted me with that, I love you so much cyare.”
“I love you too, and thank you for trusting me to help you.” He smiled, helping you to your feet as you both got up.
“Oh and one other thing,” you grinned as you reached the door. “I’ve never heard you talk so much like you did yesterday—and in your sleep.”
Trotting off to get your breakfast before it was eaten, Hunter followed after you sputtering “In—in my sleep? What did I say? Come back!”

Heart Of A Wolf
This is just a random thought I had and may make it into a series, not sure yet but I hope you enjoy. This is a 3am thing, so it may not be as good as it could be.
Translation :
Evaar'la wolf means young wolf
Buir means Father
Jedi Master Plo Koon must face the past when an unexpected arrival at the Jedi Temple causes certain events to unfold and Commander Wolffe is entrusted with his Generals most important possession.
The force works in mysterious ways, it lives in every creature, big and small, taking many shapes and forms among the vast populations of living organisms. But it was not the force that had brought you to the Jedi temple on Coruscant, it was fear of the darkness that had followed you halfway across the universe, nipping at your heels as you ran away. Everything that had been, everything you knew was gone, now ashes on a planet that many had overlooked and forgotten.
Ever since you had landed on Coruscant, you had made your way to the temple, your mind focused on one task, to find the one person who would be able to help you in your time of need. Now you stood, staring up at the towering structure of the Jedi Temple, the setting sun bathing its stone walls in a warm glow, like a beacon of light, like a beacon of hope. Taking a deep breath, you made your way over to some temple guards who were stationed at the entrance, they watched you as you approached, observing your every movement to ensure you weren't a threat.
"Sorry, but no civilians are allowed inside the temple without permission from the Jedi or other personnel." One stated when you stopped in front of them.
"I've heard, but I need to find someone. A Jedi who has this emblem, its important." You replied, pulling a small necklace from your pocket, a wolf head pendent dangling from the chain.
The guards seemed slightly taken aback by the sight of the necklace, they shared a look between each other, seeming to have a silent conversation before finally moving to let you pass. Two of them followed alongside you as you entered the temple, leading you down a few halls, already you had lost your way and you wondered how they remembered what hall led to where. You received many looks from passersby, temple workers, clones and even a few Jedi themselves. After a while, the guards stopped you outside a pair of double doors, asking you to stay put while they went inside to sort things out.
You watched as they disappeared, shuffling awkwardly in the empty corridor, alone once again. You turned to the open windows, deciding to sit on the ledge of one while you waited, the city of Coruscant spread out before your eyes. It was so different to what you had known, there were no open fields of green, no birdsongs to coax you from sleep, no rushing rivers to guide you home when you lost your path. It made you feel small, as if you were a child again but now you did feel lost, lost in the vastness of the galaxy.
It seemed like forever when the doors of the room finally slid open, you expected the guards to come out and tell you to leave but instead, you were greeted by the figure of a Kel Dor. You slowly got up from your seat, nervously playing with the necklace in your pocket , you opened and closed your mouth, trying to find something to say. Yet you couldn't find your voice, eyes downcast to stare at the floor as if were suddenly the most interesting thing in the galaxy. Did he remember you? Was he even aware of who you were? or of where you came from. Would he even believe you? You were so conflicted, your mind was too loud for you to even think clearly, every thought making your chest tighten with fear and anxiety.
"Evaar'la wolf"
The words made tears well in your eyes, the memory of the name spoken softly to you as a child suddenly swam in your mind, a younger version of yourself clinging to the side of the Kel Dor as you drifted to sleep.
"Buir." You whimpered, flinging yourself at him, arms winding around his waist in an embrace.
Despite being watched, Plo Koon wrapped his arms around you, pulling you closer as you cried softly into his chest. It had been many years since he had seen you, many years since he had left you in the care of your mother to continue his life as a Jedi. He remembered the few times he had seen you, never truly having a stable presence in your life. You were two by the time he first held you and you were five when he had last held you in his arms and you had cried like you did now, clinging to him like he would suddenly vanish and he had. He always wished you would understand why he had done what he had once you had grown. Now you were here, a young woman, as beautiful as her mother. Your lack of resemblance to him had always put him at ease, making him hope you could have a peaceful life without being ridiculed by some for being the child of two species. You were Mandalorian, like your mother, but you had his heart and spirit.
"Come now, young one."
He kept his voice soft as he let you go, guiding you into the room he had been occupying only moments before. You huddled into his side, greeted by the eyes of a few clones and what looked like two other Jedi. Plo Koon took you over to a create for you to sit on, along with two clones wearing grey and white armour, they were two of three that wore it, the last standing not so far away. You sniffled softly, feeling your father wipe away a few of your tears before turning his attention to the others in the room.
"Obi-wan, Anakin. If I may ask, would you do me the favour of rescheduling the meeting until tomorrow morning?"
"Of course Master Plo, I believe more important matters need to be tended to." Obi-wan replied, bowing his head respectfully before leaving the room with the Anakin and their clones.
The other clones stayed, looking towards their general for orders to leave but none came, so they were left to watch as Master Plo Koon crouched in front of the girl that had called him father. The clones were use to the caring side of their general, he treated them equally and fairly, making them feel like they were more than just numbers from a cloning facility. Yet it felt different now, as if he was treading in uncertain territory.
"You are a long way from home, young one."
"Home is gone father." Your voice trembled as you spoken, filled with sadness. "Its all gone, home, mother, everything."
"What happened?" One of the clones asked, his hair cut into two rows, savage scars running down the right side of his face and his amber eyes watching you closely.
Silence feel over the room, the words dying in your throat. You didn't know how to explain it, maybe they would think it was all your fault and your father would hate you for getting your mother killed. You knew the laws of the Jedi about attachments but you knew he cared for your mother nonetheless. You didn't want your father to see you like this, weak and broken, you weren't a damsel in distress but you needed him now more than ever.
"It started with the nightmares, mother said it was just my imagination running wild. I saw the forests set ablaze, the animals trapped among the flames, mother calling for me and then everything fading into nothingness, it all felt so real. It was the same dream, every night until my name day. Instead of the normal dream, a wolf came to me, telling me it was time to embrace my destiny and to allow the force to guide me down the path presented to me. It was the same day the separatist invaded our home, searching for something."
They listened to every word you said, even though you didn't go into detail, they were able to understood what had happened, Plo Koon more than the clones.
"It is possible, that a spirit of the force was able to contact you and warn you of the coming danger." Plo Koon hummed.
He stood up, stroking his masked chin in thought as he paced for a moment. To attack your home, to attack you and your mother in a place so far from the war was a concerning matter, one be would have to bring to the council as he sensed something else was at play. Right now, he was just happy that you were alive and thanked the force that you had found him.
"Commander Wolffe, I require a audience with the council. I trust you to keep my daughter safe until further notice."
"Yes General." The clone in question nodded briskly, saluting your father.
You shared a look with your father, knowing the unvoiced question and nodding. You would be fine without him for a few more hours, you had commander Wolffe to look after you so hopefully no harm would befall you.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Within the long hours you spent with Wolffe after your fathers departure, you had managed to become quite close with the other two clones, Boost and Sinker. They had made it their mission to ensure you felt better, every small giggle of smile encouraging them to do better until your mind was rid of the thoughts that invaded your mind. Sometimes, they would get to far with their jokes and almost hurt themselves or potentially you, which meant Wolffe would have to intervene and tell them to reel it in.
Eventually, the two headed off to what they called 79's while Wolffe took you to his office to he could keep an eye on you while he finished some work. Sinker and Boost had invited you to go along with them but Wolffe declined their offer for you as he didn't want you to be overwhelmed with the likely bombardment of questions from other clones after his drunk Vod let loose that you are Master Plo Koon's daughter.
You sat in the chair opposite Wolffe, looking around at his plain, bland office with a look of empathy, you had heard of how badly clones were treated. He was a soldier and yet, he couldn't even get a decent office because of how people looked down on him. You sighed softly, crossing your legs and adjusting yourself in your chair, trying to keep yourself somewhat entertains now Sinker and Boost were no longer around.
"I like your scar."
Wolffe looked at you in shock, he was halfway through one of his datapads. He had suspected there would be some small talk, but he hadn't expected you to make a statement as bold as that, especially about the one thing he himself, felt very subconscious about.
"Thank you." He mumbled in return. "Though, it scares a few people."
"Of course it scares them." You scoffed. "The people who sit back and relax while you fight their war, are scared by your sacrifice to make their world a better place."
Wolffe stared, from the crying girl he had met only hours ago, you had suddenly become another version of his general. He hadn't expected you to be so caring towards him despite the reason you had ended up here. He could still seen the pain in your eyes but he could also see a small spark, hidden deep in the depths of your iris. He had been sceptical of you at first, merely out of wanting to protect his general and his brothers from a possible trap from the separatists, after all, you could be someone in disguise, the Jedi had done something similar themselves with Kenobi.
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be." Wolffe reassured you, gracing you with a rare half smile. "Not many see us the way you and Master Plo do."
"Dad has always seen people for who they are, rather than what they are. Life is the right of all beings after all, we have no control over how we are created so we shouldn't be judged by our places of origin."
"Whats your place of origin?" Wolffe asked before he could stop himself.
"My origins are a planet far from here, where a Mandalorian went to hid from her people, outcasted and branded a witch for her shapeshifting ability. A woman who saved a Kel Dor from a crashed ship and nursed him back to heal and in return, he gifted her a child, so she would no longer be alone. A child with the heart of a wolf and the spirit of a Jedi."
You smiled at one another, continuing to chat into the late ours of the night, talking about anything that came to mind. Eventually, you fell asleep in your chair while Wolffe explained a story about how Boost had eaten a spicy fruit from of of the planets they had visited. Wolffe chuckled softly at your sleeping form, moving to scoop you up in his arms. He carried you bridal style to his general quarters and tucked you into bed, knowing Master Plo Koon will be a few hours more and would likely take the couch. Until Plo Koon arrived, Wolffe took a chair and sat it outside the door, his blaster in hand, ready for any threat that might come for you.

I’d love a platonic Boba Fett x Mandalorian! reader where reader worked with the clones as a kid, so she got really good at telling them apart by the tiniest details! So when he meets her on a hunt or something she recognizes him immediately and they catch up over a meal. Then they maybe finish the hunt together or just just talk about fights they’ve been in? Thank you dear!!
“Reunion” Boba Fett x Mandalorian!Reader
(A/N: Requested by the awesome @the-and-sign-anon.
Here’s some platonic Boba Fett fanfiction for yah! I feel like this has taken me a year to do, but it hasn’t, obviously. I just want it to be cool. I hope you like it! This is my first time writing for Boba Fett.
Aliit - family
Beskar’gam - armor
Buir - father
Vod - brother
Warnings: Canon violence (blasters). Death (no details).
Word Count: 1,445 words)
Late afternoon on an Outer Rim planet was not out of the norm for you. The system’s small sun casted long shadows behind the roughly structured buildings. A coolness crept into the air as evening grew near.
Perched atop of a well used cantina, you awaited a clearing near your intended location across the main square. You preferred less attention where you were going. The less people at small tucked-away building’s entrance the better.
It should not be much longer, you thought.
Earlier in the day, you had staked out the surroundings and where exactly you were to get the object. The bounty of the hunt. Was the objected named by the one who hired you? No, they had only told you who had it and where. Then added that it was valuable and quite decorative.
Helpful, you mused sarcastically.
Standing up, you decided that you would make it the right time to grab what you needed. The shortcut route would be best. Not the fastest way per se, but more your style. Rooftops were fine walkways in their own right. You were more interested in keeping the high ground. Only being in the area for less than twenty-four hours was a semi-followed rule of yours. Plus there were sightings of other bounty hunters.
It was prime opportunity to get the object of the bounty and leave. No more further delays.
Armor glinting in the sunlight, you kept your shadow hidden within the growing darkness cast by buildings and their antennae.
Three buildings and clothesline away from the unguarded door, you paused.
A bounty hunter.
You knew of course that there were others hired to grab the same object, however the one that caught you eye did not tickle your fancy nor did you care for their style. Too flashy with his large weaponry and inflated attitude. He was strutting a little too close to the door of your objective. Not to forget he was causing more trouble than needed. Pushing citizens around physically and verbally was unnecessary.
Can easily get passed him while he’s occupied. You thought, boot pointed in the direction of a small balcony below. Just—
Green paint grabbed your full attention. A very specific colored Beskar’gam in the next structure over. The sight of the colors and their arrangement lead you into a pursuit. The Mandalorian was steadily leaving a building. Closer. A small dent on his helmet.
You smiled, your thoughts on the bounty pushed aside.
Time to say ‘hello’, you thought as you leaped down into the dusty path.
A blaster was already lowering from its aim as you rose to your full height, meaning he recognized you.
The Mandalorian’s stance was slightly relaxed yet bent and ready to move. There were a few moments of long silence. Two Mandalorians watching one another.
“Are you just gonna stand there quietly?” A modulated male voice spoke from the green helmet. An accent in his voice pulled the air from your lungs. The familiarity striking and comforting.
“I wanted to give dramatic effect.” You said as you lifted one of your blaster pistols.
“Not sure your knees will approve.”
“Probably not.”
The grin you held disappeared as someone rounded the corner. A tall weapon in their hand. The bounty hunter you had spotted before. Not a well known one, you had not heard much of him. Only disliked any time you crossed paths, however briefly.
“Two Mandalorians? What…are you two after the bounty?” He laughed. “Why don’t you go shine your armor.” With loud steps, he walked closer. “Something you’re good at, right?”
That one’s unreasonable, you thought.
“If you’re after the bounty, why stop and chat?” You asked.
“What are you gonna do about it?” They clicked their tongue. “I’m going to get it anyway. Can’t have dusty troopers in my light.” A gloved finger edged to the trigger of his weapon as he continued forward. “Rona Olien. I’m that good.”
You and Boba turned your helmets to face one another. A silent conversation and decision transpired.
click
You charged forward in a crouch as the first round of blaster fire came from the bounty hunter’s modified weapon. The blasts stopped as the bounty hunter, Olien, staggered back as a blasterbolt hit them in the shoulder. Boba’s doing. Using the blunt end of your blaster pistol, you hit the side of the man’s head. The bounty hunter landed on the ground in a heap, groaning.
Walking up beside you, Boba kicked the large weapon out from Olien’s grip.
“If you’re going to shoot a Mandalorian, next time have better aim,” said Boba.
The two of you started walking away from the man. That was until a laser fire hit the wall of a building beside you.
In a flash of color, Boba had angled in a twist and had fired his blaster.
thump
“They were quite rude,” you said as Boba turned back to you.
“No honor.” Your brother lowered his weapon and walked with you to the destination.
It did not take long for the both of you to enter the building and find what you were after. A little digging and Boba had it in his grasp.
“A vase?” You tilted your helmet-protected head.
“An expensive vase.” Boba clarified. Rotating the piece, he examined it.
“Is it more or less than the job?”
“A bit more. Not by much.”
“Is it enough for you?”
His green and silver helmet turned in your direction. “It’s enough that we can split the difference for the job. And don’t tell me you don’t need it.”
You raised your hands in mock defense.
“Come on,” Boba turned on his heel. “They can wait one more day for their vase.”
His words surprised you. Yet you knew deep down that family meant a great deal more to him than a job.
You and your brother walked to a decent hotel and rented a room for the night; after grabbing some food of course. Neither of you wanted to part ways immediately. Besides, communicating via two separate ships was not an ideal way of spending time with family you had not seen in years.
Once in the quiet and privacy of the room, you relaxed. The food, vase, and weapons were put aside.
“It’s good to see you, vod.” You walked up to one another and inclined your helmets together.
“I’ve missed you.” Boba took a step back. “There’s a dent in your shoulder piece.”
“I know,” you groaned. “Too bad it wasn’t on my helmet then we’d match.”
“Hardly.”
You shook your head, smiling. There were more scuff marks on his armor than you remembered. Then again, so did yours. You had not seen one another in more than two years. Taking different opportunities tended to do that.
Living in an Empire was much different than whatever it really was when you were younger. You and Boba practically grew up together on Kamino. A rainy world where all you two saw was the insides of the cloning facility. The three of you, your shared father included, stayed there together. Jango Fett, your buir, had found you on a battle-worn world and brought you into the aliit, family, where Boba was your constant companion. A vod who was your only aliit after the battle on Geonosis.
Lives could always change so suddenly. Ones who lived together and depended on one another could find themselves on opposite ends of the galaxy.
Comfortable where you were, you started removing your armor and setting it down in your preferred arrangement. It was strange to have your helmet off while in the presence of another, however your vod was a major exception. The was a freedom to it all, the familiarity and the opportunity to just be yourself with on you trusted.
“That guy from earlier…,” you started as you yanked off your boots. “Have you seen him before?”
“Once or twice. He’s sloppy.”
“And had an ego the size of a rancor’s butt.”
He chuckled at your comment.
“Tomorrow,” you sat back in your seat, “I think you should give them the vase. Just in case they think of shortening you credits because I’m with you.”
“Changing subjects fast….They wouldn’t dare.”
“Just in case. Plus the whole bounty hunter image…”
He scoffed. “You’re my aliit.” Sighing, he nodded. “Fine.”
“Now that’s settled.” You grabbed the food and brought it closer. “Let’s eat.”
And eat, you did. Lounging about, the two of you talked and joked about the past. Catching up was half the fun. Making new memories was even better.
“I really have missed you, Boba.”
“I’ve missed you too.”

Hello! I was wondering if I could ask for hc’s for the bad batch with Echo for if they found one of their crew sleeping somewhere(like maybe passed out after cleaning or doing desk work or something) how each would react? Tysm and I hope you have a wonderful day! ☀️
Hunter finds you slumped over your desk, holopad still glowing blue.
he can’t help but chuckle and smile, before moving some hair out. of your face (he loves your hair its a secret of his)
you mumble sleeply about getting back to work in a second
he chuckles again
“ I don’t think so.”
pulling you into his arms as your limbs become jelly due to Exhaustion
“where are we going?” you ask with your head buried in his neck, nose touching the ends of his hair
“To bed.” He tells you
“Buy me a drink first.” You giggle at your own joke, you’re that tired.
“very funny.” he smiles as the doors woosh open.
he kneels on your bed to lay you down softly. adjusting your pillows and blankets.
“you better not be leaving.” you mumble into a pillow, noticing the difference between the sheets and his shoulder.
“...” he doesnt move or say anything, wondering if he even heard yo correctly
“Here.” you say pointing to the spot beside you, eyes closed.
when he slides in. next to you, you latch onto his side like a squid.
echo  finds you cleaning in-between the cracks of the powered off Gonk droid.
he sighs unimpressed. you’ve been fighting sleep for the past few days.
eyelids drooping as his hand takes the cloth.
“mesh’la you need to stop.” He coos, pulling you into his side.
with another sigh he gives up and pushes the droid away so he can lay flat on his back.
pulling you so that you lay on top of him.
“I’ll watch for the nightmares.” he promises you
“I dont get nightmares.” even sleep deprived you’re still so stubborn.
“yeah and im not half robot.” he scoffs. “go to sleep.”
with a moan and a groan you finally relent, echo is so warm and cozy and home
He stays awake like he promised watching you snooze on his chest.
Crosshair finds you guys n the exact same position an hour later.
“You stuck vod?”
“by choice.”
Crosshair takes a photo, echo keeps it by his bedside.
Wrecker finds you passed out leaning on a post, after a long mission off world.
wraps you in one of his shirts because thats all he has on hand.
takes. you to his bed because its the biggest and comfiest.
is so gentle he doesnt even wake you
when you do wake, he’s tugging. off your socks so you don’t have to sleep in them.
“thank you”
“anything for you cyare.”
you make a note to ask him what that means later.
Crosshair wakes you when you begin twitching in your sleep, passed out on. one of the seats.
“go to bed.” (A+ bedside manor.)
you don’t wake, and now he’s more worried.
you’re mid nightmare he realizes.
Immediately picks you up, causing you to wake.
“Cross-”
“it’s okay.”  he hushes you.
you’ve never been in his room before but you like it.
smells like blaster oil and something thats just him
doesn’t hesitate to lay down with you.
“... Not on my watch.” you only catch part of his whisper as you fall back asleep
tech looks over to find you passed out in the co-pilot seat.
takes his glasses off and activates autopilot
picks you up so he can sit inn the chair and you can lean on him.
carrying you to a bed would be difficult (everyone would see and most certainly never let it go) and he can still fly the ship like this.
“you’re cozy.” you tell him, burrowing into his neck, arms around his neck.
“yeah? you’re comfy now?” He asks, kissing the top of your head. you hum contently.
Hunter comes in later, before getting very confused and retreating.

my privilege, my honor | rex
Tumblr media Tumblr media
this was a concept i could not pass up when i got into this conversation with someone on twitter. dad!rex is life. this’ll be split up into parts within a whole (finding out you’re pregnant, pregnancy, birth, life after, etc) and is au in which the war is won by the republic and the clones are freed because i SAID SO.
this is long rip me - i worked all afternoon on this please give me something
also, rex&munitions!reader live on naboo in the back country where padmé wanted to raise the twins and does because AU!!!!
tag: @obiorbenkenobi // @icanbringyouincold // @thegoodbatch // @amazinggraceling // @cxptain-rex // @spaghetti-666 // @kaikai1324 // @jellyfishpoptart // @colorfulloverbatturkey
In the back corner of the lake country on Naboo, there lives a soldier. Well... he doesn’t call himself that anymore. Not since they won the war. The story that you are familiar with is different in other universes. Less people die. Grief is openly felt and not hidden, mourning happens for the fallen, The Republic works together to unite against a common enemy.
In this story, Anakin Skywalker does not fall. Ahsoka Tano is soon treated with dignity and respect and eventually returns to The Jedi Order. Obi-Wan Kenobi is given the help he needs to be the best Jedi he can be. This story is much happier because they won the war here. Anakin discovers the threat of the Sith far before it’s too late, and Sheev Palpatine remains nothing but a corpse with a soul that has gone to the stars.
In this story, darkness does not prevail. Light does.
Padmé Amidala-Skywalker is a genius. A renowned politician of The Senate and former Queen of Naboo, she works closely with the clones and specific Jedi who advocate for them to ensure they are no longer treated as Republic property and are treated as the people who have earned their right to freedom.
When Cody comes to the barracks to announce to his vod that the bill was passed through the senate, the clones are too riled up to sleep and thus throw the biggest celebration of a lifetime.
In a back corner of Seventy Nines far away from the prying eyes of his brothers and against a wall adjacent to the rear door, Rex kisses the living daylights out of you. You are no longer committed to the GAR and he’s free - he didn’t think he’d ever get to the point where he’d be considered a man and not a weapon - but the way your fingers thread tightly through his hair and your knee slots between his legs to pin him against that wall is the most freeing thing Rex has done in his life.
Because he can do this now. He’s allowed to show his love in front of everybody.
“Rex,” Your voice is thick with the drink you’d been consuming before you’d dragged him over here as you pull away just enough to meet his eyes in the darkness. “Take me.”
Had this been a year ago or more, Rex would’ve been so stunned by your demand that he would’ve paid for a cab like the good gentleman he was (with Skywalkers credit chit of course) and taken you back to the barracks to hide away in your quarters where he could take you in a bed.. but that’s not Rex now. No. Rex now is desperate and wanting.
  “Bathroom?”
  “Bathroom.”
The spare bathroom at the back of the bar is exactly what you need, and before you know it, the Clone Commander has your legs wrapped around his waist and your body poised on the sink. It’s a good thing you’d jimmied the lock on the door to buy yourself enough time to be ravished.
By the time Fives and Echo find you both, you’re walking out of the bathroom looking more guilty then you should but you can’t stop smiling because of how flustered you’d managed to make Rex in..
“I think that’s the fastest quickie we’ve ever done.” You nudge his hip with your own and sling your arm around his waist to pull him against you.
  “What’s the record now?”
Oh, of course he’s been keeping track. Kriffing di’kut.
  “Six and a half minutes.”
You’re really hoping that Rex isn’t the type to brag about this to his brothers, but if he is, you’d rather him do it when you’re not around. He has to clean up his meager amount of belongings from the GAR barracks before meeting Cody to discuss transport to the planets that gave given permission for the clones to be granted citizenship.
One of them is Naboo. Skywalker and Amidala have already made their way there after the birth of their twins and Anakin leaving The Order, but you have a couple of people you want to say goodbye to before this is really over. Before you all go your separate ways to live your own lives.
But oh.. no matter where, you’ll love them all. They’re the only family you’ve had and will always have. It’s not goodbye forever. It’s just the end with another beginning on its way.
“I’ll see you later, cyar’ika.” He kisses your temple and allows Cody and Jesse to take him away for one last night together with his brothers. You watch him go with a fond smile. He deserves this.
The minute you get back to your quarters, the first thing you do is call Padmé Amidala.
***
Well, if you’re gonna find out about this, you’d rather it be this way then by your own panic.
You and Rex are welcomed by Padmé and Anakin on Naboo in the Naberrie family home until they’re able to procure their own house, and Anakin seemed to be.. ah.. attuned to something in The Force that was swirling around you. Rex and Padmé are in the nursery tending to the twins - he loves them and you love how much he loves them - but Anakin has kept you behind to talk about what is clearly bothering him more then it’s bothering you.
“Wait-Are you serious?” You ask skeptically. “I know you had your opinions about me, Skywalker, but I treat your former commander with reverence and if this is some cruel joke-”
Anakin held up a hand. “I could tell with Padmé pretty quickly. It’s not hard to tell with The Force, and you’re practically glowing even without being Force Sensitive.” Both your eyes slid to the balcony where you could very clearly see Rex sitting in one of the chairs while Padmé fed Luke, who was now a couple of months old, and blew raspberries on Leia’s stomach to elicit a screech from the baby girl.
Your heart clenches. That’s... that’s so stupidly cute. And he’s.. he’s smiling.
“You should tell him.” Anakin whispers. “I know Rex was skeptical about having a family at the start of the war when he met that deserter.. but honestly, I think he’s reconsidered it since he met you.” The man who had very very quickly become like your brother rested his head against your own as you exhaled a very slow breath. “Tell him.”
You do tell him later on that night long after Padmé and Anakin go to bed. He goes wide eyed at the remark - because how on EARTH are YOU going to create and carry a human inside your body?! - and you’re almost expecting him to cry, which he does, but there’s happy tears and disbelieving laughter and before you know it, he’s spinning you around the living room and burying his face in your shoulder as you celebrate yet another victory for you both.
When Rex goes to sleep that night with Luke in his arm and Leia against your chest (you’re really interim parents so the Skywalkers can sleep) he dreams about Cody and his brothers joy for his future niece or nephew.
The first thing you see upon waking up that morning is the life-size holo of Cody, Wolffe and Jesse who are cheering in strings of Mando’a that you can’t make out well, but you know what they’re so joyful about. They’re gonna have a niece. A nephew.
In front of them, your former soldier smiles so widely that it sharpens the tears that pool in his eyes.
***
In the back corner of the lake country on Naboo, former soldiers get to work building a house. A house not made by hands - that’s not all - but by and with love and hope.
Laughter echoed in the fields of wildflowers as you watch Cody and Rex hurl insults at one another when something doesn’t quite go the way they want it to. After your pregnancy announcement and the wedding - which was just as exciting as the pregnancy - Rex had ultimately come to one decision: He loved General Skywalker but not enough to live with him, his wife, and his two twins.
Rex wants his own home which means he’s gonna build it with his own hands and the help of his insufferable brothers.
Walking through the fields of wildflowers that are just outside the area Rex has chosen to hold the foundations of your new home, you hum quietly to yourself as you take flowers and begin to braid them into your hair.
In the distance, Wolffe yells something crude in Mando’a that makes Jesse laugh hard enough to the point where if Kix hadn’t been there to catch him by his blacks, he would’ve fallen off the roof.
  “Cyar’ika, c’mere!”
Rex appears just inside what’s supposed to be your front door. He’s really acclimated to the climate of Naboo - even going as far as to let his hair grow out more then it had been during the war - and he’s wearing a shirt with no sleeves which shows the tattoo he’d gotten when the Clone Wars had ended.
He’s beautiful. Seriously.
“Is someone injured?” You cast a skeptical look at Cody, Boil and Wooley who are looking at a rough sketch Rex had done on his datapad for what he planned for this house to look like. “Maybe Jesse’s dignity? Fives will to live?”
  “I heard that!”
“No.. no.” Rex shakes his head and wraps his arms around your middle, hands coming to comfortably rest on the swell of your stomach. You’re only a couple of months along and are just barely beginning to show, but that doesn’t mean he won’t touch that bump every single change he gets. “I just want you to look at it with me.” Both pairs of eyes flicker to the house in front of you. “It’s ours. Our home.”
Yours.
That sounds like a dream.
***
Rex is, without a doubt, the best person you could’ve chosen to be the father of your child. He purchases a speeder after a little haggling with a trader in Theed and accompanies you to all your appointments, uses the credits Anakin had given him that he’d accumulated from his time in The Order to buy the food you most crave, and wakes up to be your personal pillow when you’re heavily pregnant and cannot for the life of you find a comfortable sleeping position.
By the time your delivery comes, he’s practically a walking disaster that somehow manages to inform Padmé, Anakin and Ahsoka (who had been there that week to visit her brother and her nephew/niece) about the delivery and to meet you at the medical station in Theed.
You don’t know this, but his brothers come too. The waiting room is filled with anxious uncles.
After a nearly effortless delivery on your part, you were staring up at your husband as he was handed your daughter by the medical droid.
It’s like the sun admiring all the stars in the galaxy. Rex looks at your daughter like he cannot believe you just birthed something so beautiful, and for a moment... you allow yourself to weep at just how awed the man is by the sight of his own child.
“Rex-” You croak, gasping for breaths between your tears as you motion to your husband. “That’s your kih ad.”
Amber irises flicker over to meet yours as your daughter lets out a wail so loud that Rex cannnot seem to comprehend that a creature that tiny just made such a sound.
“What do you want to name her?” He asks as he hands his little girl back over to you reluctantly, clearly wishing to keep hold of her for a little while longer before handing her off to the medical droid for cleaning. “She’s not just my daughter, you know.”
“Alaia.” You say it so quickly and without hesitation that Rex is taken a back by how sure you are. “It means joy.”
Considering how much joy that little girl ends up bringing to your lives, there’s no surprise that’s the name you choose. And oh.. speaking of joy.. it’s only mere days later when Rex finally lets his brothers - who had barely left the waiting room other then to go back to your cottage and refresh themselves - see their niece, it’s like a stampede of over eager children coming into your hospital room.
Cody brings you flowers. He’s respectful like that. Jesse is just too thrilled at the prospect of having a niece that he too brings you flowers, but they’re native to Naboo. If you’re right.. they come from outside your home.
The sight is enough to make you lean out of bed just enough to kiss his cheek. He swoons at the gesture and nearly passes out. Di’kut.
The remaining members of The Wolf Pack who had been given citizenship on a world in the Inner Rim with the help of Plo-Koon follow suit the day that you’re discharged from the hospital because they’ve been tending to your house in the absence of their brother, and Wolffe is the one you see first.
He doesn’t tend to come around alot but the sight of him and how he gasps at the sight of the child in your arms is enough to make you beam for the millionth time. All the clones are surprised by the sight of a baby. That doesn’t address the fact that said baby is the child of a clone.
It’s like a dream come true for them.
“Skywalker’s wife said you’d like this, and so did Tano.” He holds up a bright pink onesie that reads proud niece of a million uncles and the sight of it is enough to make you laugh so hard you wheeze because that is so something Anakin and Ahsoka would find hilarious.
Alaia wears it to bed for her first night in your home.
***
alaia - five months old
Maker.. there’s alot of stars out tonight.
At the cry of your daughters voice, Rex peels himself away from the warmth of your body and rubs the sleep from his eyes before moving across the master bedroom to retrieve his little girl from her crib.
The same crib that had taken him, Fives, Cody and Echo to build. Cody and Echo ended up having to do it because Rex had Fives in a headlock by the time they were halfway through assembling the kriffing thing.
“Alaia, ner ad,” He whispers lowly, scooping the baby from her crib and moving to the balcony before quietly shutting the door behind him. It’s not often that he’s unable to sleep anymore. There are rare occasions, like tonight, which memories of the war keep him awake. The nightmares stopped a long time ago. He’s at peace now. Mostly. “Sh.. sweet pea. We don’t want to wake your mother.”
Just as he’s done since you made him aware that she was teething, Rex nudges her lips open and allows Alaia to suck on his fingertip. She goes quiet immediately at the relief it brings.
“You know, I don’t know if you dream.. but I do. I dream about the war. If you dream... I hope you dream about me and your mom. I want to be a good father. It’s better then not having a dad at all like I didn’t.”
He goes silent at that. The closest thing he’d ever had to a father was Kenobi, and even he had been more like a brother to the clones by the end of the war. Anakin was just... he had his own struggles, he’d trusted Rex with information he couldn’t even trust Obi-Wan with and the thought of being so wholly trusted by someone again terrifies him.
That will be his daughter. His undoing will be how much she trusts him, and it’ll be how much he loves her and you.
On the balcony of a cottage home in the lake country on Naboo, a former soldier sleeps, and his infant daughter dreams. Together they are bathed in starlight.
***
Alaia - five years old
When Alaia is old enough to take into the fields outside of your house, you sit on the porch and watch Rex trek into the wildflowers with his little girl on his shoulders.
You watch from the porch with a cup of tea as your little girl toddles through the flowers that have just recently sprouted from the ground, and she yanks with all the might her little arms have to begin pulling them out.
Rex has been rather - ah- adamant that he’s going to keep his hair longer then it’s been in years. It’s not too long to curl over his ears, but it’s definitely not the normal haircut you’d grown so used to seeing on him.
Conveniently, for Alaia, it’s just long enough to stick flowers in.
“Oh, oh no. This I have to take part in.” You set down your cup of tea and move from the porch to meet your husband and daughter in the field. “Rex, cyar’ika, you know what this means.”
“Flower crowns, Mommy!” Alaia yells. “Flower crowns for daddy!”
The man is beaming as you sit down crosslegged and begin weaving the flowers together until you’re confident in your crown, and you turn towards Rex to place it gently against his forehead.
“A crown fit for a King.”
He smirks at you in that way that reminds you way too much of Anakin’s smugness and you quietly curse under your breath at the effect your former General had on his former Commander.
“Now we need a crown fit for a Queen and a princess.” Alaia screeches as Rex’s arms wind around her waist and his fingers dig into her stomach which elicits such a high pitched laughter you can’t help but smile at, and while you work on weaving two more crowns, Rex lays his daughter across his hands vertically and begins waving her little body around.
“Look Mommy!” Alaia cries out, face pinched in concentration as she sticks her arms out in front of her. “I’m flying!”
Fly high, little one.
***
In the lake country of Naboo lives a former soldier, a former officer and their daughter. Their daughter grows up surrounded by her uncles - Jesse, Fives, Echo and Cody are her favorites - and she learns Mando’a so quickly that by the time she’s eight, Alaia is as fluent as her uncles.
She grows up hearing stories about the uncles she lost. Her uncle Boil cries when he talks about Umbara and Waxer, and she reaches up and wipes tears from his face as he buries his face in waves of blonde hair. The uncles who survived Umbara don’t like to talk about it, but if they do, they leave out the stuff about war and talk about their fallen brothers.
Mama doesn’t want her to know anything but peace, and neither does Daddy. She trusts Daddy’s decision. Maybe it’s for the best.
“It is my privilege and my honor to be your father.” Rex’s fingers are nimbly braiding her hair back into the usual braid she’s kept it in since she was a child. The day is comfortable and her uncles are here with the twins while you’re in the capital city with Padmé.
“You’re talking like it’s the last time you’ll ever say that.”
“Well, if your mother finds out what I’m letting you do, yeah it’ll be the last time I ever speak.”
Anakin wants his kids to learn how to defend themselves. They probably can with a lightsaber just as well as he did at that age, but they’ve never done hand to hand before today’s training lesson. There’s no threat of war looming on the horizon but given that they’re both force sensitive, he wants them to have a good partner and for some reason that means Alaia gets to volunteer. All three kids are close enough in age to learn together.
  “I’m gonna win.”
“It’s not a-” Rex pinches the bridge of his nose as Wolffe comes up behind his vod’ika and clasps her shoulders gently in his hands. If anyone is good at sparring, it’s him. “Oh, kriff it. Go on.”
Wolffe waits until you’re out on the porch and wrapping your hands to say it, “You’re too much like your buir bal ba’vodu.” He had feared initially that she’d be afraid of him because of his cybernetic, but after he’d told her how he lost it to Asajj, she hadn’t looked at him with fear one time since.
  “Ni kar'taylir.”
Anakin stands on one side while Rex and Cody stands on the other, their spectators on the sidelines watching with wide eyes for something to go wrong.
“Alright. Luke,” Anakin nods to his son who tosses his saber behind him at the same time Leia does before they both turn towards Alaia. “Leia.. remember the rules. No Force Use.”
“What fun is that?!’’ Luke whines. “She’s not even Force Sensitive!”
Alaia, Luke and Leia are between the ages of fourteen to sixteen the first time they do this. Alaia has been raised to not fear Jedi, much less the children of The Hero With No Fear, so she simply approaches this as an obstacle to be conquered.
The daughter of the former soldier and officer of the Republic cracks her knuckles and eyes her opponents head on. The way she looks so much like Rex makes Anakin laugh. It’s downright terrifying.
Her ba’vodu cheer her on as Leia downright launches herself at Alaia, to which the girl simply pivots sharply on her heel and throws her hands up to defend herself from Luke’s attack. She isn’t aware of this, but Luke uses The Force to calculate each movement she makes. Leia doesn’t. He was the more attuned of the twins.
  “Get him, vod’ika!”
  “Show them who’s boss!”
Rex is utterly stupefied by the way Alaia moves. Of course, Luke and Leia do catch her off guard a couple of times, but part of him has always wondered if the ‘’soldier’’ part of him would be passed off his kids. That part of him that was a fighter from birth. It seemed he was right.
You’re gonna kill him when you get back.
His daughter throws her elbow right into Luke’s nose - Leia had yielded when she’d been subject to a pretty brutal chokehold - and flips him over her shoulder without so much as an issue, and the older Skywalker twin slams his hand against the ground before she can so much as try to incapacitate him further.
  “Do you yield?”
  “I-I yield, you-you insufferable gundark!”
The two teenagers are too busy arguing with each other while the clones laugh hysterically in the background and Kix tends to Leia to ensure she’s alright to notice the return of both you and Padmé.
“What’s going on here?” You question, arching an eyebrow at the pair of husbands in front of you who both turn around and are so guilty that they’re both blushing deep scarlet. “Rex?”
  “Cyar’ika, I can explain-”
You extend your arm to where Alaia is being held back by Fives and Jesse and Luke is cursing fluently in Huttese while Kix tends to his nose. “I was waiting for the day you’d crack and see what she could do!” You exclaim. “Kriff, Rex.. She nearly broke my nose when she was a toddler because I told her she had to eat her vegetables! Or do you remember the time we took her to see Obi-Wan and Ahsoka on Coruscant and she yelled  ‘’leave my dad alone you di’kuts’’ to a bunch of Jedi?!”
“Yeah-Yeah, I do.” He’d laughed at that when it happened and he’d laugh at it now.
Rex slings an arm over your shoulders as Echo and Cody exit the house beckoning you all for lunch before murmuring, “It’s good to be home.”
Your eyes flicker to the Skywalkers and to the clones who are all chattering along in a way that just feels so alive. So unlike any dream you’d ever had before the war ended, and it makes you realize that yeah... it is good to be home.

🍒 Okay tub time with Kix? 😗👌🏻 Exquisite. So good. Where do i find such a caring man ugh and a clean bathtub chores suck
New Cherry Thot of the Week… This one’s hella self-indulgent but don’t worry bestie, i’m dragging you along for the ride too… Picture it: The Marauder, 19 BBY (did i spend 3 minutes looking that up for this dumb joke? yeah…) Somehow, you and I have joined up with the Bad Batch on some kind of mission. Details don’t matter because the important thing is we’re sharing a tiny spaceship with 5 hunks. 🥰 But obvs we have our favorites… I’m going with Wrecker for you (i know you love Hunter too, but just hear me out, this thot has a purpose) and Crosshair for me.
But here’s the thing. We somehow figure out they like us back (maybe Tech spills the beans), AND they have a bet going… Who can win us over first? Because these 2 are always competing over something with each other right?
And like hot damn, but also ohh there’s so much we can do with this info 😈 We both start teasing our respective guys, leading them on a little, not giving in to their flirting or anything so they can’t say they’ve won the bet for a while. They get more frustrated. More… pent up… And… well… so do we…
Uh oh. Maybe we can’t play this much longer. Maybe one day it’s too much, and one of us races to our crush prepared to just kiss them silly, only to find they had the same idea. And then afterward we try to find the other, and discover they couldn’t hold out with their guy either 🙈 And maybe it’s awkward, maybe Wrecker and Crosshair argue over who actually won forever, but it was kinda weirdly fun anyway. We’re happy, and happy for each other. /EndofSappyStory 🍒
cherry. my love. my life.
this might be the best thing that you have ever gifted me holy fuck the way i BLUSHED while reading this??? whooooooo jesus i love this so much!!! 😭 okay lots to unpack here:
1. excellent golden girls reference again. made me giggle and i appreciate the research tech would be proud of u hehe
2. you and i being bffs in this thot made me so happy aw
3. EXCELLENT CHARACTER CHOICE FOR US OMFG i couldn't stop thinking about the "don't worry wrecker you'll top him next time" "no he wOnT" while reading bc omfg those lines applied to this kind of bet????? AAAAHHHHH IM HAVING A CRISIS
i'm gonna write this in sections, actual encounters with the boys happen in sections 3 and 4 with our sexy murder toothpick man being up first! also this is gonna be pre-omega but post-echo joining the batch
self indulgent filth and fluff in the form of some reader insert thots below ;)
18+ as always kiddies. i really hope you enjoy! this was so fun to write
section 1: the bet
so i imagine this happening right after you guys joined the squad
and it certainly didn't take long for crosshair and wrecker to realize their feelings for you two beautiful women, although one was more brazen about his feelings than the other
one day when hunter had sent you and your friend into a market to pick up a short list of supplies, they got to talking
crosshair made an offhand remark about his girls’ ass which made wrecker fidget, he never was very composed when it came to pretty girls and this caused all the other members of the batch share knowing looks and smirks
“wrecker if you’re trying to be discreet about your feelings for ___ you’re going to have to do stop fidgeting.” tech noted, rolling his eyes when wrecker started stuttering out excuses but he was cut off by echo
“give ‘im a break. at least he isn't as vulgar as crosshair”
“you’re just jealous she doesn't flirt with you, mir'osik” (i had to search up insults in mando’a and this one means shit for brains and when i tell you i died laughing okay anyways sorry)
this made echo roll his eyes, deciding it wasn't worth it to fight over whatever stupid insult the sniper threw at him
wanting to stir the pot juuust a bit, hunter proposed a challenge for his vod. he should be the good influence on his brothers, but he couldn't help but want to see where these crushes would take them
he could hear the girls’ heartbeats intensify around their respective crushes anyways, so he had a pretty good feeling that they felt the same about his batch mates
“don’t know about the rest of you, but i want to see who can win his girl over first” this was met with a smirk from crosshair, a blush from wrecker, and side glances shared between echo and tech
“easy.” crosshair drawled, he knew he had this in the bag
he may be quieter than the others but boy was he was observant, taking note of the way her words had a hard time flowing out of her pretty mouth when he was in close proximity of his girl
wrecker on the other hand didn’t want to make her uncomfortable, in his eyes she was just so sweet. innocent, really. she wouldn’t want the same treatment he knew crosshair had in mind for his girl
the peering eyes of his squad made the large man cave with a sigh, “fine.”
section 2: the slip up
weeks had gone by since the boys established their little competition and you, your friend, and tech were working on some small repairs around the ship
you and your friend had noticed some increased...flirting from your respective guys
crosshair paid more compliments and lingering touches that seemed genuine
and wrecker flirted the best way he knew how; lifting too heavy objects and reaching for items in the tall cargo holds, handing them down with a gentle smile
tech, being the most blunt member of the squad, commented on the whispers you exchanged, dropping a surprising truth on both of your ears:
“well of course they are trying to flatter you. how else do you settle a bet to win each of you over the fastest?”
tech watched the two women freeze before him, sharing shocked looks before turning their attention to him, realization hit his gut like a crate of durasteel, and he swallowed under your stern gazes
“what do you mean, goggles?”
“they...like us?”
tech’s cheeks burned red hot, was his brow beginning to sweat? maker, it felt like it
this was the one time he didn’t feel like explaining himself, instead choosing to coyly excuse himself from the two pairs of watchful eyes
he left you and your friend to stare at each other before both rolling your eyes, “well now we know who spills secrets the easiest” your friend chuckled, shaking her head
after a few moments of silence you both spoke up, deciding there wasn’t that much harm in playing along with the two members of the batch. you were fond of them, after all
you both continued chuckling about the situation, mostly out of disbelief that the flirting and teasing wasn’t just a hopeful facade your minds made up
once the repairs were completed, you both retired to opposite ends of the ship, minds full of deliberation of how you would handle this new information
section 3: the gunport
you were sat in the gunport, musing the situation you found yourself in, hands picking at your fingernails in an effort to curb your nerves
on one hand you didn’t want to ruin the bond you had with the marksman
what if he was just flirting out of pure boredom? there isn’t much to do in a confined ship like this anyways, he might as well pass the time flirting with a woman in his general vicinity
but it just had to mean something
no way the whispered compliments - most of them accompanied with a wink, no less - meant absolutely nothing to him
you decided that you had enough, this was going to eat you alive if you didn't get to the bottom of what was going on in that head of his
with a huff, you stood straight and turned around to exit the space
but you were met with a silver haired man climbing up the ladder
you both froze, both internally freaking out at the basically forced confrontation
oh gods what is he doing up here? did he read my mind??
...shit what do i do i forgot everything i was going to say to her
you nervously chuckled, figuring that you were going to go talk to him anyways so might as well get this over with
“crosshair... um i need to ask you something”
“no, i need to tell you something cyar’ika. i’m tired of sitting here and watching you walk around all day, not being able to show you how i feel.”
now that left you speechless, mouth slightly hanging open in shock to which he deeply chuckled at, “hope this isn't the first time i leave you speechless.”
there it was, that smug attitude that made you roll your eyes but also ignited a heat in your lower abdomen
with a smirk, you decided to play it back to him. two can play at this game, lanky
“well it’d be pretty rude to not demonstrate what you had in mind, trooper”
this was the green light crosshair needed, quickly heaving himself up the last few rungs of the ladder, his hands immediately finding your waist and snatching you close, pressing a firm kiss to your lips
your hands flung up to catch the sides of his sharp cheeks, humming at the feel of his scruff under your palms as you coyly push your tongue through his lips, hoping he’ll welcome your tongue into his mouth
he does, and you are exploring each other in the most delicious way, causing soft moans and sighs to leave both of you
while you were entranced by crosshair’s mouth on yours, you didn't realize he was pushing you back onto the chair of the gunport until you were sat down and he was kneeling in between your legs, his nimble fingers clutching your thighs and hips
in a matter of minutes crosshair had managed to get your bottoms completely off, your slick panties hooked on one ankle, and your thighs over his shoulders
for a man who could run his mouth, he sure proved it
expert fingers entered your weeping cunt while his tongue prodded your bundle of nerves with sharp, quick strokes
he’s beaming at the way you’re trying to support yourself on shaky arms and trapping his head to your cunt with the backs of your calves, the sight of your head thrown back and the whimpers coming out of your mouth making him harder than he had been in a looong time
his fingers and mouth brought to your orgasm quick and hard, nearly screaming his name as your toes curled in bliss
he took his time in working you through it, making sure he could draw it out. he could get used to this.
when you can finally open your eyes and look him in the eye, you’re kissing him again, enjoying the moan he lets out at the feel of your tongue tasting yourself on him
you decide it’s his turn, and you’re pushing him into your previous spot, smiling at the way his eyes slightly widen at the way you took charge
crosshair wants to say some sexy remark, something that he knows will get you to sheepishly smile and look away but he can’t, not with the sight of you sinking down to your knees and slowly pulling down his blacks, keeping eye contact and granting him a playful glint in your eye
you can't help but want to tease him just a bit, running your tongue over the bulge in his blacks
he tries his hardest to not be loud but maker, is he loud when you finally take him into your mouth and down your throat
you’ve quickly found that he enjoys eye contact while in this vulnerable state, nearly shaking when he sees your eyes brimming with tears trying not to choke on his length
one hand sneaking down to alternate cupping his balls is what pulls him over the edge, crying out with your name living on his tongue
you swallow his release, again utilizing eye contact to your benefit and drawing out another prolonged moan from him
it makes you smile in pride, loving how this hard, unyielding man turned into such a mess while you had your way with him
crosshair pats his lap and expectantly looks at you, waiting for you to perch up onto his lap, straddling him
despite being a skinnier guy, crosshair wraps you up in the warmest, most secure-feeling snuggle you have honestly ever experienced
after sharing such an intimate moment with you, he began whispering sweet nothings into your ear, about how gorgeous he thinks you are, how much he cares for you
it’s honestly kind of shocking but welcome nonetheless, cross can be kind when he wants to and you are very glad that this was the outcome of your dancing around each other for months
section 4: the interruption
you retreated back to your room, honestly just wanting to sleep and get your mind off the day
it was becoming harder and harder to not just pounce on wrecker, but you didn't want to just give it up so quickly
and to be honest, you had a bad feeling that tech was full of it
you struggled with self esteem issues for as long as you could remember, so it was difficult to believe the 'genious’ of the batch when he said that wrecker had feelings for you
despite your trepidations, your mind couldn't stop thinking about him, his broad shoulders, toned arms, huge thighs...
your hand slithered down your torso, slipping underneath the waist band of your bottoms and slowly circling your clit as images of wrecker effortlessly lifting anything that crossed his path filled your mind, honestly wishing it was you he was lifting
perhaps lifting you to brush your pussy on his nose, his tongue exploring your womanhood enough to make you shout his name
but apparently that last part was not all in your head
although you didn't shout it, wrecker definitely heard the way you whispered out his name in a moan in the dark room
he really hadn’t meant to barge in, but after a few knocks with no answer  he began to worry
he came by to tell you how he felt with absolutely no expectation of sleeping with you. truthfully, he gave up on trying to get into your pants, he was willing to lose the bet with crosshair, he knew he wasn’t as smooth as his brother anyways
while he obviously would never be opposed to making love with you, he figured that you deserved to be courted beforehand, and he thought there was no way you’d want to share your body in such an intimate way with somebody like him
but the sight he was greeted with was enough to prove himself wrong
you, spread out on your bed with your hand moving diligently under your thin lounge shorts and you moaning his name made him subconsciously let out a loud gasp
that you absolutely heard, eyes snapping open and hand coming to an abrupt halt, ripping out from under your bottoms
“wr-wrecker! what are you doing here?!”
“i- uhhh- i didn’t see anything! erm, i'm sorry, mesh’la”
by now you had your blankets covering you, despite being fully clothed, and were looking at him with mortified eyes
wrecker still stood in the doorway, unsure if he should let this opportunity pass him by
if you had told him to leave he would, he’d do anything you said, but the fact that you made no move to force him into leaving made him linger
“i'm...sorry if im overstepping mesh’la but i just- i can't stop thinking about you. and well,” he gestured to your form, still cradling the blankets to your heaving chest, “i think you think about me too”
of course you couldn't deny it, he had just seen you pleasuring yourself and moaning his name, what the hell kind of excuse could you come up with? none, that's what
his sheepishness made your heart soar, realizing he probably was just as nervous as you
deciding to cut him some slack, you slowly rose up, blanket falling to the ground as you sauntered over to his frozen frame
whispering, “you're right. do- do you want to stay?”
you had the poor man at a loss for words, eagerly nodding at your proposition and allowing you to take his hand and lead him to your bed, pushing him down so you could straddle his lap
his large cock bulging through the thin fabric of his blacks and pushing against your already hot cunt made you cry out
pure adrenaline coursed through both of you, hushed moans leaving your mouths as you steadily ground down onto him, his hand tangled in your hair and the other kneading your breast
your lips broke away from his mouth and you smirked at the look on his face, absolutely fucking giddy that this was finally happening, he had been dreaming about this moment since he first saw you
the sounds he made while you sucked on the sensitive skin of his neck encouraged you to slip a small hand down the front of his blacks and pull his thick cock out, heat flooding your body at the hiss he let out when you started slowly jacking him off
your legs were in the perfect position for him to push your shorts down and over your ass, fingers picking up where you left off and circling your clit, working you open to take one of his massive fingers
the more you squeezed his throbbing shaft, the louder wrecker became
and not wanting anybody to hear you two fooling around, you glued your mouth to his, tongues mingling in heat
the excitement of the entire situation made it not last very long overall, but you both had intense orgasms regardless
wrecker curled his - now two - fingers inside you just right, and your continued squeezes and strokes of his cock made him finish, his cum coating your palm
both of you were shaking, muffled groans and gasps filled the room until you were coming down from your simultaneous orgasms
after coming back down to the moment, wrecker chuckled and flopped down on his back, bringing you with him to crash onto his chest
you both giggled like a couple of smitten teenagers who were experiencing their first love, relishing in the butterflies in your stomachs, we just did that
“been waiting a long time to do that, doll” wrecker’s big hands rubbed up and down your curves, closing his eyes and smiling at your laugh, “i know”
his head shot up at that, “you know?” the way his eyebrows furrowed up made your chest tighten with admiration, smiling cheekily down at him, “of course i do. tech told us gals.” you leaned down to place a peck on his chin, “you think you won the bet?”
“dunno. but I feel like i just won the entire galaxy.”
it honestly didn't make much sense in your post-orgasm daze, but the endearing tone made you smile and kiss him once again
section 5: the hallway
after your respective encounters with your boys, you ran to your friend, bumping into her in the hallway, the tight space echoing your giggles and shrieks of excitement throughout the entire ship
you both were so flustered and giddy that you were talking over each other, just needing to tell her about what just happened
“i just sucked-”
“you will not believe-”
you both stopped and laughed even harder, holding onto each other for support, then your friend took a deep breath and smiled, “you first.”
the sounds emitted from you two not only made your boys smile and their chests swell with pride but also coerced some chuckles from the other members of the batch
they all knew how long these...events were in the making and how eager cross and wrecker were becoming
and in all honesty they were glad their brothers had found happiness in two girls like yourselves
nice, funny, and obviously in love with their brothers
they really could’t have asked for better women to take care of their family
