A very personal rating of the Our Skyy2 episodes, in airing order cuz I am doing it weekly, if you stumble upon this list it is my personal opinion! if I rated your favourite episode low don't take it personally, we all love different things and maybe my favourite was the one you liked the least

Now here we go:

NLMG: 8/10 I really liked it, I liked the og show fairly enough more by the end than the start, but the special? I liked it a lot, I am a sucker for time traveling and period pieces so it played with my heart strings, I had some issues with the pacing and story but overall I liked the more romcom feel to it that to me PP are perfect for, bonus points having Pawins character score a bf! also it looked amazing! I love Jojos directing and the colorgradiants he used here

SIMM: 5.5/10 It was fine, nothing that bad, I onestly liked the first episode more than the second only cuz the pranking made sense, Maitee and Sean were being annoying and deserved to heve their asses handled to them, also the possible side couples played a big role on my liking this, they could have made SM or TM, but they didn't, tho WS are cute I can give them that, it didn't make much sense but ok, tho the major downside was the plotlessness and ok it is a 2ep special but they could have done more, just KN being sikeningly cute doesn't cut it for me, also News directing style is not for me

THE ECLIPSE 9/10 Ok I might be biased, you take a look at my profile you can see that I love FK and the Show, I didn't give it a 10 cuz the first episode had some issues mostly on how Aye acted torwards Akk, but this second one? Basically perfect! they were the sweetest and most loveble ever! all the kissing? The popsicle scene?? The bar scene??? The last scene???? PERFECT so I gave it a 9 cuz of ep1

VICE VERSA 5/10 ok so I wasn't the biggest fan of VV when it aired, but I wanted to go on this with an open heart and it was broken! and again I wanna say: FREE TALEY! Puen and his supposed best friends manipulated him! Using a CHILD! It was cute at the start, I still like JimmySea, but they had to go and ruin it, if the kid was actually Tess's child I would have been a lot more happy even tho Taley would have been a victim yet, better than being manipulated tho still chosing to be with Puen and satying friend with them! Sorry but this continue to not be my thing, saved by the cute cast!

MSP 6/10 It was all way too rushed, they wanted to combine all of 12 episodes in 2 and the result felt rushed and staged, like a bad movie that the characters produced, plus the only characters that were actually convincing were Tinn Por and the moms, the others felt stiff and too similar to their original character, the MV was cute but the sang was average at best, Tinn liking Gun since 10th grade(or at least it is implied) doesn't align with ep1 unless Tinn was lying the whole time, the ending scene was a bit confusing I don't know if it was made like that cuz they hope for a s2 but I didn't really get it, if the ending was either Tinn or Gunn waking up it would have been a good twist, anyway it was fine

ABAAB 5.5/10 Ok I did go in a little biased with this show cuz I really didn't like it, tho the first episode of OS2 was actually not that bad I did enjoy it but then the swap "bet"(it was basically a bet right?) happend and I got reminded how much I don't like this 2 people! and I feel bad cuz I do like ForceBooks interactions IRL but Gun and especially Cher I don't like them and I feel like they wrote them episode after episode without a clear idea on who they are cuz they act according to the plotline of the episode! Also I didn't like that we never got a resolution for the little fight ThreeZo had!

BBS×ATOTS 7/10 I changed the score cuz that last episode deserve a 9 if not a 10 it was perfect with pacing story and acting, but the rest didn't work for me especially the 2 crossover episodes, they sacrifaced the story to just make a mix and match of the 4 main characters! in the crossover they spend more time apart and with somebody else than with eachother and the time spent lost was too much, it didn't progress the story at all! if they did 2 eps dedicated to each couple amd then 1 only ep crossover maybe it would have worked better, also as I said Longtae was nowere to be found and not even mentioned and I am bitter and pissed about it still, I also feel like the characters especially Phupa were kinda ooc

Am I very biased with The Eclipse? YES INDEED!(but it is very obvious from my blog so do I even need to specify it?) the others I am more objective, tho mind you! NLMG wasn't one of my faves but I really liled the OS2 ep!(but I saw that people that liked the show didn't like the OS2 ep and vice versa)

So we arrived at the end of this journey, this thing was in my drafts since week 1 so 8 weeks can you believe that? anyway I have to say that I enjoied this show overall, it wasn't perfect and production was clearly rushed but it still worked and people enjoyed it so that is all that matters!

Can we get a Show inspired by Lady Gaga's Judas?

Let me begin with a disclaimer: I am neither christian nor grew up christian So I don't know much. I also sort of think of the bible as a collection of stories that are sometimes interesting narratively... That I also don't know shit about so bear with me.

Ok so hear me out. I don't exactly mean the song, I mean the music video. There's this whole background narrative world of a very direct and literal Jesus and co (I think Lady Gaga was supposed to be Mary Magdalene,) in a biker gang in this whole underground biker society.

The choices of how each member was visually represented was super cool (and Jesus is incredibly hot.) Watching the video again 11 years later I kept finding myself watching the clips of theatrical scenes going "wait go back I want to know what was happening there!" For example there's this ongoing scene that get's briefly clipped to that both looks like a worship party but also Judas in separate instances is making out with girls and gets choked out in a fight???? From what I can tell it's like a gathering that turned into a riot and they all end up having to flee. I wanna see more of that don't you?!

There's a whole unspoken world here! and it would make for such a good show! Imagine the story of Jesus and Co. told as if they are a part of biker society that's forced into the underground by the police state. Via poverty and desperation they turn on each other, forming gangs, territories and turfs to each defend their own. Jesus is trying to unite all those forced into the shadows to reclaim their place in society and rise up against their oppressors.

Jesus slowly grows more followers as he sews alliances and preaches of an uprising and overhaul of the status quo, unintentionally garnering a cult-like following as stories are passed and exaggerated. (IDK maybe he could be allowed actual super powers but I like the idea that he's just a dude trying to overthrow they system and some people got a lil too excited.)

Meanwhile, shitty dude Judas is a grifter who's here for riding the coat tails of Jesus' rise to power but is too caught up in his own toxic masculinity and the idea of biker toughness to truly be down with the ideals of societal revolution.

The primary narrative music video would even make a dope sub plot. Mary's internally conflicted about having feelings for shitty dude Judas despite knowing he is indeed shitty dude Judas and is trying to be faithful to Jesus. As he faith wanes she learns about Judases intent to betray (again) and has a Come-To-Jesus moment where she realizes she'll have to confront Judas in public in order to protect Jesus. (I think that's what's happening, this music video is wild now that I've turned on fangirl brain.)

Just look at these visuals! Cinematography and costuming! You can't tell me that this doesn't look like shots from a gritty HBO show.

I just really want this to be a show and event better that would make this music video retroactively look like a shipping MV or something which would also be hilarious and fantastic.

I know this will probably just be lost to the void but if anyone at HBO sees this, y'all are sleeping on gold.

So I think a lot of it depends and we may never know full details. I think they do get a say. For the Home performance like you brought up, there was clearly the theme of a home. Living room, bedroom, kitchen, stairs, etc all pieces of this set. There was also a clear flow to the song. They wanted to be able to transition from jikooks lines to Jhopes verse with him going up stairs to pan over to Suga for his verse and then back down to Jin. They also opened up the spinning room in great dramatic effect to reveal the room and all the members. So I don't necessarily think that leaving jikook in the bedroom was a specific choice in subliminal messaging vs just.... how it happened to line up verse wise. If taekook had been singing the first chorus of "your touch your touch your touch" etc instead of the second one, they probably would have been the ones left in the room. Same if it was vmin who sang those specific lines at that specific time together. So this i lean more towards directors choice personally. But they also could have just vibed around the room dancing like they were when everyone was in there. Was it their choice to be all "touch touch touch, love love love" on the bed before falling back onto it together? It is unclear. Lol but they probably did that part themselves. It's also cute how they will seek each other out for that part on stage almost everytime too.

This again, is another good example of WOW what a moment in official content. Lol I don't think this was directed. If this was planned, they would both be totally aware of what would be happening, yes? Lol Jungkookie looked quite taken a back/flustered along with the rest of us. Lmao Jimin saw his chance and took it. Can't blame him. This was all very homoromantic. What would be interesting to see though, is why they matched extra hard in red compared to everyone else's color palate matching and stood farther away as a pair for this performance. It really kind of highlighted them as their own duo a bit. Combined with the fact that Christmas is considered a romantic holiday for couples, and the overall homoromantic vibes given by all 3 things here (the matching, the separation from the group and Jimins cuddle move), it definitely was eye catching. So I think this one was all them (minus the styling).

Another one that is an interesting moment in MVs is how jikook were depcited starting their day in the same bedroom in a matching set of couples PJs. This one I think is super straight forward if you pay enough attention, it says something. And well Jungkook WAS the director for this MV. The choice was his. And he said multiple times that his choices for this MV was to depict reality.

I would DIE to know how this performance came about. This is clearly choreographed. Jimin and JK are clearly probably the one duo able to have pulled this partner dance off. But WOW the way they said a big F you to heteronormativity with this dance. WHOSE IDEA WAS IT BIG HIT?! I love it no matter whose idea it was though. So beautiful and stunning and amazing

Jimin and JK did their cute little Dynamite interactions in Jimins rainbow clothes themselves. Lol we saw in behind the scenes them try multiple different things together, including the one of Jimin just throwing himself into JKs arms without looking. And JK just automatically catching him with the biggest smirk on his face ever as he holds his hyung. Lol and then the piggyback moment during the bridge in the MV was so cute and 100% all them too. During their reaction video they were asked if they were told to do that and Jimin said that no, he just thought it would be cute. And wow it sure was! They are so cute.

Not a filmed performance or MV, but I feel like this has to count a bit too. Because this was ALL THEM. 100% their choice to just suck ears. Lol and then when people were saying it didn't happen, after the tour finished out and antis, shippers and akgaes started mass emailing the company to stop business gay and to seperate jikook, Big Hit released HD footage of the Rosebowl Jikook ear suck moment. I like to think it was their F you response to the haters and a show of support to their artists and to jikook themselves too. Whatever their relationship is. The homophobia was clearly not stood for. And Jikook did that too.

And again, not sure if this totally counts, but I feel like it does. Same with rosebowl, JK told us before these PTD Concerts to keep being jealous, he will keep holding Jiminie. And then picked Jimin up himself and carried him off to their car from backstage. It feels like a statement to me, and that one was clearly JKs choice and Jimins choice. They are beautiful.

And while this is just posing for a photo. It was them posing for a photo right after a press conference posted by Big Hit. Like damn jikook. Why do yall have your bodies faced totally towards each other like this all up in each other's personal space. The faces they are making too. This felt very intentional. And this was a pose they did on their own and yet the Company went ahead and posted as is. Feels like a bit of a statement in a way to me. Lol the spot the couple game has never been easier honestly in these group photos

And while we are on the topic of "you had to know what this looks like and you did it anyway photos..." Idk what this photoshoot was supposed to give as a concept except gay and in love. 😜 That unicorn was around and yet no other duos had this in their unit shoots and no other duos looked so damn couple-y in their duo shoots. And jikook went let's look like boyfriends on the beach ON TOP OF A RAINBOW UNICORN. Clearly yes, this is a directed photoshoot, but they do have some leeway in these shoots, you can watch the shoot in the summer package too. And just well... it sends a message and they aren't dumb! They have to have known what it looks like. Lol so directors choice? Maybe. But what an interesting choice this then was....

I hope this helped answer your question at least a little bit. Unfortunately we can't know exactly who made what choices and why for fact unless they specifically say something about it too, like with the Dynamite MV moments or jikooks 21st century choreo moments for ex. But I do think sometimes it can be more clear when its directed or otherwise too. Such as in winter package when the photographer says "jimin please put your arm around his shoulder" for ex. Alright you asked for distraction. So... next shuffle is gonna be Yuzuru, Ibara (YES I WIN), Rinne, Subaru, and Tomoya, right? I'm personally hoping that Tomoya will center cause it'd be hilarious.

So next shuffle's probably in a few months, and since we got the current one in november, we're probably skipping the winter season. So for theme I'm guessing...

Fairytale prince? Would be fitting for tomoya center subaru 5*. I think Rinne's gonna be hilarious and I'm gonna point and laugh at him.

I'm personally hoping for no military theme cause it'll tip things too much to ibara and yuzuru's direction.

If Tomoya can fully embrace his normal-ness we can do a "next-door-neighbor" theme. You know, like... the childhood friend kind of MV. They'd have... idk... jacket and a single rolled up pant leg or something... And you'd get them walking to school together or something. I know this is not realistic. I want to see Ibara and Yuzuru and Rinne pretend to be normal kids. It would be funny...

Demons. Okay, so hear me out, both Subaru and Tomoya had Japanese Oni themed scouts. So a demon theme would be neat to see for them (a bit of sexy rights for these two who don't get that treatment very often) and suitable for the other three.

Yeah I don't have other thoughts or ideas for this one...

I still think that's one of the funniest possible shuffle unit outcomes they literally put Tomoya together with the guy that's so polite it's a little concerning, the guy that pretends to be some evil mastermind, sparkle boy and Rinne Amagi. Amazing I bet the story will be so dope!

Also yeah fairytale princess that's a very early spring theme I can see that as a concept ohhh I hope they do that I wanna see Rinne get fine-ified it would be so off brand but I think he could work it somehow

yeah same tbh I don't really like military themed stuff in general but it also would be Very ibayuzu focused which. the likelyhood is there I'm sure it could be good but again. hm.

ALSO NEXT-DOOR-NEIGHBOUR THAT'D BE SUCH A CONCEPT FOR THEM!!!! Shame it's unrealistic but it would be so cool the MV outfits could just be normal highschool uniforms with like. some character specific twists to them and the MV itself could have kind of a Finder Girl vibe and ooooh I like that they should deserve to be normal kids even if it's just for one event,,

Demons also such a banger concept they could all pull it off we know Yuzu looks good in that kinda aesthetic and I just checked out the Subaru cards he looks so awesome woah,, and Rinne is tall and red and he has the perfect grin he'd be perfect for that!

we could also get a valentines day shuffle no? or is that unlikely because there's already like two of those and fine already had a valentines day song so Yuzu already got the valentines treatment? I don't think it'll be another easter one they already did that and guessing by the time frames between the shuffles it's every 2-3 months right??

Alternatively there's also clubbing shuffle which is really basic but fun and it's a little more adultish which is something Tomoya and Subaru don't really get often, But mind you I mean the Dance Floor kinda clubbing and not the Night Club kinda clubbing,, I'd also love t if they go full 80s on this one but that would not happen I am 100% certain that would not happen

I remembered an ask you got talking about how exo got really successful so quickly they didn't really get a chance to branch out and develop artistically, so I wanted to ask you about your thoughts on the members as solo artists since they all have atleast a solo album out (you might as well include exo sc since they got to put their own ideas in everything) and all of them were allowed to have a say in things creatively from lyrics,concept and packaging if they wanted too, especially since all their music except for the ballad singers is so different from each other

also wanna know if you were completely surprised with a member like a performance or a concept was something you'd never imagine them doing

omg did i???? i don't even remember my own asks anymore at this point sldkfsdlkfjl. i don't even know if i agree with my own statements there in the first place since exo has done a pretty wide variety of concepts over their lifetime as a group. ....WAIT i think this is about the kai v taemin ask re: image, where i said that kai hasn't been a solo artist for as long so there hasn't been the same type of exploration of image the way taemin has done. i think that is a fair point to extrapolate across to the rest of the exos, since none of them (except for yixing, he's a bit closer to taemin) have been soloists for very long, comparatively, and they all started as adults. personally i think it's a lot more apparent with their solo endeavours that they're confident in their artistic personas and personal tastes, and that comes across in the ones who have multiple releases. yixing is the one with that's shown the most variation, because he's been a soloist the longest, but i do still think that his stuff has some pretty obvious artistic fingerprints and consistency on it. he's matured a lot and in a very specific direction now, but you can see the genesis of a lot of his style early on.

as far as my personal opinions of all of their work goes, i do like that sm chose to debut them solo later in life. i'm sure it was an annoyance to the members themselves, but i think there's a benefit to being older and having a clearer sense of artistic identity and a long time to sit on ideas. it's hard to churn out solo work at the speed to match kpop turnovers and sitting on something so it can be exactly how you want it is good, actually. i like that kai's debut was really delayed bc it meant that there was a LOT of work put into it, and it shows. and i like that he took a full year for the first cb too. it was really clear to me that suho sat with grey suit for probably the entire time he was in the military, bc he came out rip-roaring with an incredibly well put together cb. the exos that have put out more solo work pretty clearly want to and care about what they're putting out, which i think is exactly how it should be. i don't listen to all of them equally, but the ones that get the most plays for me right now are baekhyun, suho, and xiumin. and then sc, probably.

i think my most dramatic surprise was by hurdle, actually. in hindsight it makes a lot of sense with where he's arrived after coming out of the military, but i wasn't expecting something so stylized from him, since he was tending towards the sort of artsy ballad type. tbh suho's discog is very artistically consistent and i can trace the things he's interested in visually, which i didn't even realize until i went back and watched the let's love mv and the dinner station. his stuff tends towards a more melancholy tone so that's why hurdle surprised me so much, because it's much more upbeat, but i think it stylistically matches with grey suit in a weird way (it's probably the colour matching). maybe next would be peaches? but that was mostly because i didn't like ANY of the songs on the album, which i'm still kinda disappointed about bc i really liked almost everything off mmmh. i wasn't that surprised by any of the visuals. sc is pretty much exactly what it says on the tin, chen's ballads are pretty typical also. i wasn't that surprised by kyungsoo's solo even though a lot of people were, because i was already kind of expecting him to do a ballad solo so rose wasn't that far off (and kind of preferable, personally). xiumin's was exactly what i wanted from him and i have zero complaints. uh who am i forgetting................oh baekhyun. nothing surprising about his discog, although i WAS surprised by how good bambi was. like he did not have to do that kind dance performance and nor was i expecting him to, but damn. honestly i'm still surprised every time i watch the mv.

•————— ♬ —————• Some random thoughts on the MVs •————— ♬ —————•

Not a lot is happening in these MVs but that was to be expected, Avex clearly didn’t want to invest too much money in these productions. It’s a shame but then again, I don’t wanna come off as too greedy or ungrateful. 9 MVs is A LOT and it’s a huge treat to see Keiko in these different locations with all sorts of cool outfits and hairstyles. I am honestly easily pleased and just looking at Keiko’s beautiful face is enough for me. We get ponytail!Keiko , twintails!Keiko, braids!Keiko, bun!Keiko, wavy-hair!Keiko, etc. What more could a fangirl ask for? XD My favourite outfit is the 2nd one in “Burn In The Wind” => tunic x jeans x converse. Coincidentally, my least favourite look is the first outfit from “Burn In The Wind” and whatever Keiko is wearing in the “Revolution MV”...Ughhhh....

Regarding my fave hairstyle, I think it’s a tie between bun!Keiko in “Latté” and braids!Keiko in “Lost”. My favourite MV overall might be “Burn In The Wind” because it’s just so carefree and casual, I love it. Really fits the sound and lyrics of the song.

Aesthetics aside, I think for the most part, they managed quite well to capture the atmosphere of the individual songs. In that regard my faves are probably “Kimi Ga Nemuru Kara”, “Latté”, “Lost” and “Burn In The Wind”.

After watching the full version of “Nobody Knows You” I think it’s actually a bit too “contemporary��� urban for me but it still looks pretty cool. Would have loved something more along the lines of a Blade Runner-esque world but of course that would have been way too expensive to pull off. Love the idea behind “Toori Ame” but I feel like they failed at the execution. It’s just too dark for my taste and the play with shadow is all over the place. It annoys me so much that the surface they used for Keiko’s silhouette has that weird line/stitching at the left side. I wonder what the meaning is behind the two Keikos in “Latté”. It all feels so unreal. At one point Keiko mentioned that she wanted a sort of non-human/robotic/artificial vibe for the MV which definitely fits the “future funk” genre. Her alter-ego with the coloured contacts and the direct looks into the camera definitely comes across like an android or something. The lake view and the plane in “Hachigatsu no Sora” are super cool, unique and gorgeous but I am not sure how it all fits together, I would say it’s a little random and doen’t match the lyrics at all. Not a big fan of her outfit or the location in “Genjitsu no Metaphor” but her hair is hella cute and we get a lot of close-ups of her feet in heels so if you have a foot fetish, this is the MV for you XD Speaking of foot-fetish, there is some nice foot/leg action in “Kimi ga Nemuru Kara” as well. But jokes aside, that MV is absolutely amazing, the nightmarish location, the dream-like illumination, Keiko’s almost ethereal look, I LOVE everything about it. What a beautiful location for “Revolution”. Such a shame it’s almost wasted on the song. Reminds me a lot of “far on the water” which was also quite boring but still had a stellar-looking MV. Who the hell thought it was a good idea to give Keiko that outfit though? “Lost” is simple but beautiful, the cottage vibes really appeal to me. And yeah, “Burn In The Wind” is hands down my fave because, as I said, it just feels very real. Plus, it’s a little less static than most of the other MVs

01. What is mine Toxin: The title track of our first album. Yoru: The only thing I remember from when we were composing and recording was how much of a shitshow it was. Neight: Well, we were all completely motivated since it was a song for our first album. Creha: Toxin even went on a rampage. Byakuya: But we got a good song in the end, thank goodness♥ Pien!

02. The Sun Also Rises Creha: This was a new song for the album too. Toxin: Right. A song that hypes you up right from the start, it's perfect for lives. Yoru: When ya put it that way it makes me wanna start singing. Byakuya: Ahaha! That's a great idea, why don't we? Right here, right now! Neight: Oi. Can you two at least hold off until we go to the studio again.

03. Vigilante Neight: One of my favorites despite how short it is. Toxin: It's a very atmospheric song. Yoru: It was a pain in the ass though since you couldn't get the lyrics down. Byakuya: You were totally hung up over the way the chorus read too♥ Creha: Mhm. We had to be really careful about the way we sang during recording.

04. From a Spicy Peak Yoru: We looked like dumbasses having to do all those retakes of this song because of Toxin. Toxin: Urk. Well what was I supposed to do, I wanted us to sing until we got the best result. Yoru: Yeah, but you were askin' for way too much dumbass! Neight: But, it was thanks to that, that the result wasn't that bad, right? Byakuya: It wasn't bad at all, it was the best, bestiest, bestest! ... Don'tcha think♥ Creha: Of course, it's our song after all.

05. Underdogs Toxin: "Underdogs" was also the title of our first live. Neight: I'd say it's probably EROSION's most well-known song. Yoru: But who gives a shit about popularity. 'Cuz when I sing this I get all hyped up. Creha: I get it. Byakuya: Let's sing it at the live house again!

06. Lighthouse Neight: This song... We wrote it way back when we were on that island. Yoru: Ah, nostalgic as hell ain't it? Creha: It was really hard for us to make something original back then since all we did was copy others. Byakuya: So true! ... Y'know when I sing Lighthouse my chest feels all tight. Toxin: I think I get what you mean. It's like, for just a moment a gentle light shines through the haze in my mind. That's the feeling I get. Neight: You're being as abstract as ever. ... But, I can't help but agree with that sentiment.

07. Aspiration Toxin: If I'm remembering right, I believe we went over the direction of this song while at school. Neight: Right. At first we couldn't come to any agreements. Byakuya: Toxin lost it that time, it was hilarious♥ Didn't you do the lyrics for it Crehachin? Creha: Uh huh. My brain felt like mush while I was writing them. Yoru:  Well, it ain't that bad being yourself, right? Creha: ... Mhm. Toxin: Ah, wait Creha are you embarrassed? Creha: I'm not, shut up.

08. The Oath Byakuya: This songs my favorite♥ Creha: Didn't you make this one? Toxin: He wrote the lyrics for it too. It's really powerful at that... Yoru: I didn't know 'bout that part, did ya have an image in mind for it or somethin'? Byakuya: Well that's~ A se・cret♥ Yoru: Hah!? The hell man!! Neight: Well for what it's worth, this song gave us a small glimpse into Byakuya's inner world.

09. RAD HEAD Yoru: Of course, it was gonna be a fuckin’ banger from the beginning. Creha: The MV for this was pretty sick too. Neight: Right. It was worth the overseas trip. Byakuya: Let's go again! Let's have a year long trip this time! Toxin: Byakuya, we can't just do that...

10. Get Out!!!!! Byakuya: I really like the "Ao!!!!" part♥ Toxin: Your voice in that part was really good. It's a perfect way to hype things up before the chorus. Yoru: Oi, don't lay on the praises like that it'll make them dumbasses. Creha: I don't want to hear that from you Yoru. Neight: That's fair. Yoru: The fuck is that supposed to mean!?

11. Sham'ing Toxin: "Sham'ing" has a bit of a different vibe compared to our other songs. Byakuya: I'd say it's kind of like a kids story?? Toxin: It's a song that's filled with our depressing thoughts and the hazy memories of our younger days. Creha: I don't hate the song but... But singing it... Yoru: It reminds you of that guy? Creha: ... Mhm. Neight: This song must really remind you of Father, huh?

12. CRIER!! CRIER!! Neight: Though it doesn't come with this version, this is also a new song for our album. Byakuya: I can't get it out of my head! Pien. Toxin: Similarly to "Vigilante" I was really hung up on the way it's supposed to be read... I wonder if you've noticed? Creha: I wonder. Yoru: Y'all better listen carefully, 'kay?

Here’s my first impressions (aka this is what 2020 is gonna sound like folks)

Alright so I’m really behind today, as some of you know I literally just got back from vacation and it’s also my first day of classes this semester and it’s just craziness. Yes I’m posting the first chapter of Yeosang’s spin-off today. But people seemed to like my first impressions of the last album so I’m going to do them again. Thankfully (?) this album is a lot shorter so I can pause and talk about stuff.

Warning! a loooong post, squealing, incoherent thoughts smashed together, and crying ahead. A lot of crying. Keysmashes included.

Post-MV thoughts before I listen to it again: There’s way too much to focus on and I’ve watched it many many times to look at the choreo and the storyline stuff that’s happening, but this is my first time listening without the video so I’ll notice more musically this time. But first I wanna say; YEOSANG’S LINES!!!! I’ve been screaming for forever that he has a beautiful deep voice and needs to be given parts that compliment it. And wow it finally happened :’) Anyway here we gooo

건배하자 like a thunder!! Can you believe they literally spoiled the entire hook of their next song in Beginning of the End? *flashbacks to my utter confusion when that happened* San sounds amazing and I like the little echoey thingies. Gives it a real nostalgic feel. Jongho already popping off vocally barely 10 seconds in. Mingi’s rap here and the transition to Hongjoong’s— rap line goals. The attitude in that mm-mm made me smile ngl. This prechorus might be my favourite part of the song. Seonghwa sounds heavenly. An EDM drop bringing back that hook, good decision and again it kinda feels nostalgic?? Especially the oh-oh-ohs which are also giving me a pirate drinking song vibe wow 0.0 Wooyoung with that 불러 불러 lol. Yes the Yeosang part!! I love a good post-chorus switchup and he. handled. it. perfectly. There’s even harmony, yall know how much I love harmony. And SINGING RAPPERS AHAHDJAHAK YESSSSS. Back to that glorious prechorus but it’s Yunho’s turn. This chorus is just such an anthem. I’m bopping rn. San in this bridge— he said I am a VOCALIST listen to my beautiful VOICE. Yay the rappers going back and forth again!! It’s like If Without You. Man I can’t believe I get to replay this song forever. 2020 is gonna be lit. You hit those notes Jongho! I’m always blown away by this kid, and that scoop earlier mmmm. Just nodding very energetically right now. Perfect end to the song. 100/10!!!!

Okay I’m pausing before the next one starts because no I am not prepared. It’s just like last time; I know Hongjoong wrote this and I know it’s gonna ruin me but I have no idea how and when and what it’s even gonna be like but anyway, too bad, let’s just go.

Oh kinda futuristic sounding opening with the synths? Yooo the vocal thingy in the background, sounds like a sample of some kind, that is super cool and I hope we get more of it. Ok I paused just to write that, let me unpause. This is gonna be a long one, I can already tell, sorry guys 😅 And the beat changed right before the vocalists came in. definitely a back and forth thing here in two registers, very sweet. Wow. WOW MINGI WOW. This rap is?? It sounds super mature and idk just full of confidence. I’m shook. Ok the chorus. Holy cow this is LIT lit. Nope nope I need to pause and go back. This is so chaotic, I feel like I’m missing things?? I’m listening to that chorus again because there were so many elements there. I just wanna take this song and break it down second by second to hear every single sound hahahah. I’m only catching an odd word or two here as far as lyrics go. Oml harmonies 💆🏻‍♀️ Alright Hongjoong’s rap. OMG if he sounded sassy in Answer this is a whole new level and I LOVE IT. Flow is 100/10. The “are you gonna take me there” gives me chills. This song needs a dance this chorus is TOO LIT. Am I at a rave rn??? Oh thank God the bridge took it back a level. Ok I’m pausing because I think I caught some of the lyrics this time. If I’m not wrong I heard 난 궁금해 저 끝이 궁금해, 더 가까이 조금 더 가까이 ? Which is something like “I wonder, I wonder about the end. Closer, a little bit closer” if I heard correctly. I need to look up the lyrics in full later because Hongjoong has a big brain and his lyrics are always 🤯🤩 Ok unpause. Final breakdown! Yep this is going on repeat the rest of today. Jongho yussss with the ad libs. No it’s over ㅠㅠ Alright this one is already vying for top spot this album. We shall see. But I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. HONGJOONG GENIUS.

Um so yeah I saw them perform this live for their anniversary thingy and cried so this should be fun. At least I already know the song so how much can it hurt me? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Smart of whoever put this album together to stick this song right in the middle and make us cry between head banging to the other songs. Mingi in the beginning is just 💖💕💘💝💓 San ballad king. I need more ballads from him. Jongho, of course, with perfect vocal control. Oh Seonghwa too, I need more ballads from him. Wooyoung with T H A T part. A tear is forming, I just love this chorus. People are saying the song should be in a drama and I 100% agree. Everyone together FOREVER YOU ARE MY STARRR. The little drum frills it’s so cute :(( Yay Hongjoong, and his cute little voice I’m UWUWU. Wooyoung with the high note and I’m ascending........... Chorus again and this is the real meaning of crying in the club. It just occurred to me that the second verse seemed really short. Yeosang + Hongjoong + that guitar in the bridge is *chef’s kiss*. This is so emotional, do we really need to do this at 4am?!? I’m just gonna vibe for a sec, it’s the last chorus. The ad libs were so perfect and the way it ended— wow. I need a moment.

From my understanding this is a full version of the Precious Overture they gave us last album. Tempted to go back and see my first impressions about that one, but either way i have a distinct feeling my wig is about to be snatched. Let’s GOOO

So far, it’s starting the same. Creepy humming and all. Okay scratch that, we have a vocal melody. Yunho sounds great ugh I’m so proud. Sorry, San’s voice just takes me to another plane of existence or something, how can it be that smooth and gorgeous, someone please explain. Building to something now... Oo. OO?! Hongjoong’s rapping. This is so cool oh wow, and into this vocal part which I believe is the chorus?? wOW wow it’s amazing to hear this having already heard the bgm, this is like a new level of appreciation. It really all goes well. Ah we have a switch up now with Seonghwa. guys GUYS GUYS you know how I feel about switch ups. Sorry I’m going back to catch something. The tempo changed here and really grabbed my attention. The bass is also super cool, it’s actually the same melody as the treasure opening (and the opening of this song) but much lower, I believe. Uh oh guys this might be vying for top spot too. Let’s continue. Ok Mingi’s rap which I’ve already heard. Um I’m confused now. It’s Hongjoong’s rap again? Is this the chorus?? Woah woah hold on I gotta pause. Because. Wait, what?? This is the chorus??!? Yoooooooo bold move! I have no idea what is going on but I love it. Continuing on. Ah yeah ok the vocal part with Yeosang again, so I guess the rap + vocal part is the chorus? Also I neglected to mention but Yeosang is killing this song. Ooh okay this bridge is building some suspense. Feeeelingggggg.... And now a shouted version of the rap for the final chorus. Okay wow I’m impressed that they took it this direction. And Jongho with the ad libs is PERFECTIONNNN. Oop okay they’ve added the revised-lyric Treasure part to the end here. And the lyrics are the same as in Precious (Overture) so I’m guessing we still didn’t find the treasure, good grief. How long is it gonna take to find this treasure 😅. And it ended like that. Well. WOW. Again, I could listen to this on repeat all day. Again, I am deceased. Instant fave.

I’m pretty sure this is the exact same as I already heard on the trailer thingy but we are gonna react to it anyway.

The orchestra really loosens my tear ducts like nothing else. It’s beautiful, who else is doing it like them?? “Did you find your treasure?” Yes, I found ATEEZ 🥺. The way he says “finally found it” . This is Maddox btw. Also about Maddox, hang on I’m gonna pause for a PSA: guys if you don’t know Maddox please PLEASE check him out. He’s doing the amazing narration on this (and Intro too), he’s a soloist under KQ and one of Ateez’s hyungs who they look up to. In addition to his superior narrating talents, he is also an amazing vocalist. If you like R&B and lo-fi music I would definitely recommend him, he just dropped a single called Color Blind, his insta is xxmaddox, he’s a great guy and YEAH that’s all for my plug but go stan him, he is deserving and proof of the fact that KQ artists are talent through and through. Unpausing! The way the orchestra swells and then goes into a piratey sounding theme is so motivating and familiar :))) “Can you hear those voices?” HNGJRKSNDN WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE SCARY. This is the Epilogue, it’s supposed to be like the denouement, the falling action!! The bad guys should be gone now! What’s next?? Treasure Ep: Answer to Question? Because that’s what I have after this album! More questions!!! Anyway, the bass here and the humming 👌🏻 100/10 for the instrumental. And in ATEEZ fashion, they leave me thirsting for more.

So that was my first impression/live reaction to the mini album! I think it’s Horizon and Precious fighting for #1 currently. Maybe I’ll reblog with second and third and fourth impressions... it’s really random tbh, i could be sitting in my study room or in bed. could have music playing or not. Sometimes i have to write down (see: type) random bursts of ideas until I get to my laptop

fluff/slice of life. it’s weird, i like to keep it a little realistic despite me wanting to get away from real life’s troubles.

digital. my mind runs faster than my hand can write on paper.

my phone. my best friend usually receives the ideas bec we will end up talking about it when we wake up.

it might be yunho HAHA a lot of the stuff i’ve written (and reqs in the works) are yunho based. I’d like to try writing about wooyoung, jongho and hongjoong in the future though,,,

the people you read in my fics... though i try to keep them gender neutral, i kind of want it to feel realistic too? so what you see is technically going to become your pov (hence the lack of any of them saying y/n or whatever lol). i base some traits from people i’ve met while making them their own independent characters.

Baekhyun was hiding. The enemy could be anywhere here and he tried his best to move forward, sneak between the buildings to stay inconspicuous, without making any noise. He was almost there. He heard someone shifting outside the room and he checked his pistol and slowly moved in the shadows. He held his breath and he was about to aim when a loud "Ping!" resounded the entire room followed by multiple other pings and in a moment of distraction,he had shifted in the wrong direction and now he was dead sure that had given away his position to his enemy. Shitshitshitshit what if he had been found? Oh God this is seriously going to be a mess he can't die yet... Not at this stage when he is almost there, being one of the two sole survivors at this point, definitely not now and-

He had been shot.

Cursing under his breathe, he glared at the 'You have been killed by User:Kimjongdaewifeu' message mocking him on his screen. He was literally moments away from his chicken dinner and he was so furious he let out a wild cry and reached for his phone, the root cause of his misery, fuming with rage. Whoever is the one behind this notification,he is so gonna murder that motHERFUC-

WAIT. WHAT? A new video from SeChan? Aren't they on their vacation in LA right now? Must be one of their random vlogs. His confusion only increased further when YouTube displayed the title of the video, "SeChan-What a life- MV". It was followed by multiple messages of '@real_pcy tagged you in a post' and '@oohsehun tagged you in a post'.

Wow. So the father and son were definitely NOT on a vacation, but they had the time to compose and record a song, and even shoot a music video for that? On top of that they had the audacity to hide the entire thing from him. Or was it one of their old compositions? He doesn't remember seeing or listening to anything called 'What a life,though. He scrunched up his nose further in confusion and clicked on one of his Instagram tags. He was, indeed tagged in a picture of his husband and son wearing some expensive af suits and smirking at the camera (Goddamn he so badly wanted to wipe that smirk off of his husband's face) and he read the caption below. "@baekhyunee_exo for you🥂".

Huh. What does that even mean? Did they dedicate the song to him? He was confused all the while trying to fight the blush creeping up his face 'God Baekhyun control yourself you're not a fucking teenager you've been married for 19 years now ughhhhh' and then he scrolled down further to see his son has posted few more pictures too and tagged him in them. He decided it's time he check out the MV for himself and clicked on the YouTube notification.

The music was fresh. Totally their style. Baek was in awe at how did they manage to pull this off in literally 15 days. Pride swelled up inside him, his family has, indeed, been blessed with talent. He was even singing along with the chorus. This is gonna be a chartbuster! He immediately started replaying it once the song ended,and now the initial adrenaline rush is gone, he actually started paying attention to the lyrics and the things that he missed during the first listen. And thats when he noticed something.

Still, decided to do some snooping around, and he switched to one of his private accounts to scroll through the comment section and fight those annoying idiots.

Baekhyun scrolled past the typical comments and decided he had done enough of undercover work and thought of exiting the comment section, that's when he noticed few stuff written in hangul. He thought he saw wrong, and squinted his eyes to see what was written once again.

A loud snort escaped him. Inappropriate scenes? Oh if only he could, he would show everyone the REAL inappropriate. And what did the poor yacht do? When did girls dancing on a yacht became a crime? Can't two gay men party with girls? Also why does it hurt these idiotic fangirls, when they can't even seem to digest the fact that their 'oppars' won't even spare a glance at any woman, let alone these dancers. He had his devilish grin on, and he started sending a plethora of attacks ranging from a middle finger emoji to comments like 'I hope you choke and di e, bitxh' (very mature, Baekhyun) to everyone who attempted to even touch his babies, his earlier annoyance at both of them totally forgotten, and he was starting to feel happier inside the more people he fought..

His little counter attack session was interrupted by a phone call. He saw the caller ID and his face lit up but in a nanosecond, the fury came flooding back.

"YAAAH PARK CHANYEOL! DO YOU WANNA DIE?!!!!" he literally started screaming into the phone and he was able to hear his son cackling in the background.

"I told you Dad, keeping the speaker mode on and putting that phone 5 metres away was a good idea. I knew that Appa was gonna scream like that!" his son managed to somehow speak all the while wheezing and trying not to die.

"Did you like it, Baekhyunee?" the deep voice of his husband brimmed with expectation and adoration sent a shiver down Baek's body. Oh God no wonder this giant puppy of a human can literally get away with anything he does, Baekhyun sure becomes a puddle of goo whenever he hears his husband's voice spoken to him closely and intimately. He can still hear the faint dying whale noises of his son somewhere in the background.

"Ofcourse, you big baby. I loved it. But you sneaky little shits hid a whole song production from me. I'm mad."

"Well then how do you want me to make it up to you, Baek?"

"Ew can you two please stop for now and continue this when I'm not here I don't wanna know the details-"

Thank U, Next: Album Review

Disclaimer: These opinions below are my own and only opinions. It’s okay not to agree with anything I will say here, this is my personal experience of the album. Also the album hasn’t been out long yet so it hasn’t had the chance to marinate yet and opinions might change in time. Y’all asked for it. 

Imagine: 4/10

This is not the most interesting song on the album, but it’s chill and nice to have on. The whistles are everything and really, for me, pull the song from boring into being an interesting experimentation piece. I don’t have a lot of reasons why this would be the first song but it’s not a bad opener. I guess this song is an alright song, a little underrated and a weird choice for a single given the other singles and how much Ariana doesn’t appear to care about it. The lyrics are similarly okay, not groundbreaking but not a fuckup (except the use of ‘sleep’ instead of ‘asleep’?) and the concept is sweetly sad. 

Needy: 8/10

Bop bop bop. It’s not a strong song like a big ballad or brave r&b statement but for what she is, she’s still important. The concept is everything, and it didn’t let me down which is important to me. It was the snippet that I was looking forward to and it did deliver the slow jam with a unique depreciating but honest message. The vocals aren’t stunning but she does sing and it feels really personal and heartfelt. And the babyloves instrumental at the end cinches this as a favourite of mine, it just sounds so pure and it’s a real relatable song. 

NASA: 5/10

Apparently quite a controversial one, either people are loving it or ignoring it. It does have a ‘kiss me thru the phone’ vibe, but I think she’s cute. Again, not a big statement but satisfying as a basic r&b moment. The lyrics are great in this song, despite the repetitive ‘imma need spice’ chorus, the verses have some original concepts and storyline. It has a really cool alternative, almost spin-off vibe to God Is A Woman with the space parallels and some linking lyrics about ‘your orbit’. And whenever Ariana manages to have a concept that doesn’t just revolve around penis in the vag I always nut, and this song is actually about the opposite and pushing someone away which is refreshing. The song is ultimately a bit forgettable but has some redeeming qualities that make me glad it made it to the album.  

Bloodline: 2/10

Nonna is a nice touch but I don’t really care about it? I don’t think about it unless it’s on. It’s good to come to a more upbeat song after the first three, and it’s catchy- with a kinda havana spanish vibe? It would have been interesting to see what would have happened if this was a single instead of Imagine, but as a 2019 song it’s almost a little outdated as music has evolved from despacito’s popularity. The lyrics are basic and something more familiar to Ariana’s usual style of vocals with some signature ‘yuh’s. I can see why people would enjoy it, and I think if it played in a club, no-one would object but for me idc. 

Fake Smile: 4/10

Starting to get tired of these alternative ‘sample’ beginnings to her songs on this album. But I like the sound of the song a lot. It reminds me heavily of Lily Allen? And y’all know I don’t like unnecessary swearing which the chorus of this song has a lot of I think. It has some of greedy’s backing vocals but goes in a different direction with vibe, however the concept really puts me off. We have this ‘’my life is hard the media and rumours are hard’’ in SO MANY other Ariana songs and I am TIRED. Go talk to You Dont Know Me or IDC for those tired concepts. She really doesn’t seem to be focusing on the positivity when she’s always putting out songs like this which is a shame because I really like Lily Allen’s music. 

Bad Idea: 7/10

We start out so strong with this song, and I really like it. The chorus really makes me wanna bop, it’s a good catchy song. Since someone pointed out the ‘ari-chan’ bit I’ve really not been able to unhear it which sucks. But in my opinions it’s like a better/alternative version of dw’s Bad Decisions. It’s not the most unique of concepts but I really like the climax vocal moment in it and it reminds me of breathin at that part. The orchestral part at the end confuses me a little? It doesn’t really go but doesn’t ruin it for me- I’ll always take some strings. 

Make Up: 0/10

I’m not a fan. It’s another one of those trippy pharrell-esque beats with no real content and some more rap-singing. Not much to say about this one, I just don’t really like it, it’s a skip from me. Issa mood issa vibe isn’t good lyrics, it doesn’t have any good melodies or vocals that would endear it to me. The beat kinda sounds like it’s falling down the stairs slowly. I just don’t think it’s album material. 

Ghostin: 10/10

Now she’s a CONCEPT. Her voice sounds heavenly and in my opinion this song has some of the best concepts and lyrics on the album. It’s a sad bop but so so needed after all Ariana has been through with her bereavement and loss. It’s so sad and sends my heart to her, she’s serenading her tears and fears to us on this song and really telling us what is going on with some of her sadder moments. It’s bittersweet and uses the concept of ‘ghosting’ as a double meaning for mac’s spirit and as the colloquial slang meaning to break up with or ignore [her current love]. It’s clever and meaningful and so good, we were blessed with the harmonies and strings on this one. 

In My Head: 9/10

Doug PREACH, this is one of the only times I will praise speaking samples in music because his part of this song is so good and necessary. Doug telling Ariana ‘enough is enough’ is PEAK reliability and you get a good sense of their friendship and her life at that point in time. The song itself pops off, it takes some of the previous ‘pete’ concepts of ‘i thought you into my life’ and develops it into this idea that she actually created that version of that person and how detrimental that can be. I think we’ve all created a vision of a person in our heads before and can relate to the concept. The lyrics are good, and the melodies and vocals are good. Mostly on this one I like the concepts that arise in the lyrics. It also lyrically ties to why try with the demons and angels visuals which i cant get enough of even if ariana shits on why try. I even enjoy (and laugh at) the scoot scoot part. It’s just a good ass r&b song that I thoroughly enjoy. 

7 Rings: 1/10

Listen, do I sing along to this song: Yes. Does that mean I think it’s good music? No. I dont like the concept nor the unoriginality of the verses just being a big sample from another song. I dont care about this flex, and I dont relate. Ariana is too rich and always has been so this song holds more jealousy and distaste for me. I don’t mind the ‘you like my hair?’ lyric but I do know about the controversy with that black woman who sang that lyric about weave and imo it’s a whole ass messssssss. The review of this song by itself could be a whole post but I’ll leave it with just saying I don’t like it.

A sweetheart. Really the only pop song on the album, and just a good song. It’s a classic successful max martin song, and I like the self love addition to the lyrics. It’s finally a song that ISNT about penis in vag and I was very excited when it came out. This song is going to get overplayed soon but I’m very proud of it as her first #1, I feel like it’s real and she tried very hard with it. It’s a good concept and aside from not promoting it well, deserves more recognition for the good all-round song it is. Kinda wish the U was a You but this is Ariana so I’ll just live with it. 

Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored: 1/10

This song starts hot and a bit like an attack, which is in contrast to the likes of Bad Idea which is a softer but still strong start. My opinions on the MV aside, it’s catchy but it’s basic. This is probably the least produced song on the album imo, and is what people would expect of her probably. It’s darker and I don’t go out of my way to play it. I do like the chorus and would sing along, but it doesn’t thrill me. I think it’s kinda funny? But unfortunately the song is not meant in satire. Also the title is just too damn long. 

Overall:

The album is still new to me but it has a few really redeemable songs on it. I’ve said it before but my view on it is of this album being a kinda darker side B of sweetener. I think it’s sonically cohesive as an album, only thank u next the title track really sounds different from the themes of the rest of the album. I was pleasantly surprised by the lyrics on this album, and how several of the concepts were a step away from basic fucking tracks. I dont hate it or think it’s a bad album but coupled with sweetener you can definitely see a strong move away from pop or anything ballad-y which would make any sort of good use of her voice which is a shame because she has the talent for broadway, not rap. Ariana’s career mistakes aside, it’s as good an album as I would expect to see from her at this stage and she is definitely getting more confident in sharing real parts of her life in music which is positive.

I didn't mention my current/past biases in SKZ because I didn't want to steer you in a certain direction LOL but I thought it was SO fitting you paired me with Chan because he was my first bias and the one who got me into Stray Kids - absolutely agree that we are quite alike and he is such a wonderful person I wish I could give him all the love in the world 🥺 (and have you heard of that saying that your bias is you and your bias wrecker is your idea type? LMAO)

My bias wrecker was Minho because he and I have the EXACT same type of humour + the same love for cooking and cats and then switched to Jisung after being won over by his cute-chaotic energy and that SKZ Fancy dance cover stage (I'm sure you know EXACTLY which one I'm talking about 😂)

Jisung officially became my bias a few months ago - he makes me laugh so much even during stressful times (he's got that funny cute skater-boy/boy best friend vibes if you know what I mean) and I love that he's got a calmer side to him at home compared to how chaotic he is during variety shows. Although Chan and Minho absolutely wrecks me on a daily basis (who am I kidding ALL of SKZ do)...I still watch the Drive MV like daily rip

I'm glad you liked my opinion, and it was really fun reading your experience with SKZ haha. Personally, Chan is my bias but I've like, always had a huge soft spot for Felix, so I really find myself wondering at times why he isn't my bias😂😂He can breath and I get weak in the knees haha. But Chan is my comfort idol, and I love him to bits too.

Incidentally, my first bias was Hyunjin, and I started getting into SKZ when I saw him on Weekly Idol interviewing GOT7😂😂Then I saw Chan on ASC and he had my heart and that's how I slipped down the SKZ hole. I love all members to bits, but with Minho idk why, but I just get this bro-vibe from him😭😂Like, he's quite like me and I just love his whole personality, and I just KNOW we'll be great friends if I ever got to know him.

But Jisung is such a great choice!! He's so adorable and his energy is so damn lovable like I just wanna hold him and squish him💙💖

Hirate Yurina Quick Japan Vol. 135 Interview

Hating beautiful things, Want for the honest feelings to reach.

It was never meant as 'I'm in pain.' nor 'I didn't want to do it.' This girl knows the beauty, and the self-demon of a living human being, who cannot be easily cleaned up by those simple words. This girl's name is Hirate Yurina. To whomsoever out there who shoulder the same teen loneliness, same pain-- 'those emotion, get through' and her figure walking in the wilderness of people without crying as much as she can, is too transient, too noble.

Q: I'll be starting with a bit personal questions. This year, you're starting highschool. In your highschool life, what did you enjoy the most?

Techi: I don't know if I could tell that she's a good friend, but I'm able to talk to the kid. When I was with the kids, then I forgot that I had job, I think they said “I'm just a normal highschool kid.”

Q: But I think if you could be confident when you're with them, that's good. Usually, what did you talk with the kids?

Techi: Stuffs about the school.......Very very normal. Things like “That kid, I really liked him, but... what do you think?”, and also love consultations also often happened. I don't know the reason why, but They often consulted their love problems with me (laughing).

Q: Maybe it's because of Hirate-san, they want to consult it with you. Maybe they expect to get good answers from you.

Techi: But I cannot give good advice. Just like 'The way people think is different from one another' or 'isn't it good?' That kind of reply might not really ease their problems but, we're not junior high students anymore, so we should answer those expectation by ourselves way of thinking and that we will be fine that way.... I think.

Q: in reverse, is there any switch to change between natural Keyakizaka and work-mode Keyakizaka?

Techi: how should I put it.... well, there's a lot of things to think about. Sometimes things are heard in talks between members and staffs, the I think like 'Ah, I think so, too' and got a bit curious about it. I might become a bit more sensitive at work.

Q: Can you have a moment to properly relax a bit?

A: I really like strolling around. Between shooting I often idly walking around. I don't like being confined in one site, so occasionally I stroll around with Manager-san. That time, I really like to have some meaningless talks, like, for example “If Hirate-san is going to be reincarnated, what do you want to be?” “maybe dandelion~”, really talks without any meaning (laughing). Maybe that's the time I feel really relaxed.

'What do you know about me?'

Q: This year Keyakizaka appeared in the national arena tours, also the Fes and events, with a very fierce performances. Isn't that really harsh physically and mentally?

Techi: That has been asked a lot. But we don't feel any bother doing performances fiercely. We said that we want to do it. There are times when our physical condition couldn't keep up, too. When 'ROCK IN JAPAN 2017', I suddenly thought I'd ask staffs, 'Water please, I want to wear hat.' Because it was really hot, but because we need to get fired up that was not a right time...that time I really think ‘I wanna wear a hat' (laughing).

Q: In the last national arena tour, you solo performed 'Jibun no Hitsugi.' The figure of Hirate-san that strummed the guitar while singing, and engulfed by flame is really beyond the word of impactful.

Techi: Actually, there's something that I had thought before. But that level of performance would make the venue couldn't be used for the next performance (laughing). At first, I will get into a coffin, then the coffin will be burned. Meanwhile when I was inside the coffin I will change into Fukyuwaon costume. Then afterwards I will come out of the coffin tattered up, then continue to perform. (That way) I didn't just wanna perform flashily, but after I thought hard, that's how I thought the song had to be shown. I thought that it would be better to play the guitar by myself, and I played it properly.

Q: How do you share that brilliant and crisp image with the staff?

Techi: When I heard the song, the image of myself being engulfed in flame came. Then I searched pictures that quite close to the image in the internet and send them. I always send everything without any logical reasoning in context at all and saying 'How 'bout this?' But a reply came (laughing).

Q: Is it the same with live performances and the album 'Masshiro mono wa Yogoshitaku Naru', how's the production process?

Techi: This year, the feeling of wanting to deliver songs has become very strong. For that reason, our visual, as well as design, song order, all of it should be ideally designed so it's not only music that will be delivered. We always thought about how this song should be performed on stage, but that alone is bad, I think. I told (the staff) that I want the handwritten 'Getsuyoubi no asa, skirt wo kirareta' lyric inserted in the end of the album.

Q: Why, especially that song, you want to be included in the album?

Techi: I'm a bit loss in explaining my feeling at that time, because it will not really connected to the album. Because the song that mostly represent the album is 'Getsuyoubi~', the main protagonist of the song's that had the strong feeling of 'wanting to be delivered' is 'What do you know about me?' like the lyric, so it was inserted.

Q: The thing that Hirate-san really wanted to convey is clearly visible, right.

Techi: That's right. For example the setlist, roughly, a month or two before a live, we will share the theme we want to tell and then decide the order of the songs. TAKAHIRO-san's presence is really big in this process. In MV or Album's visual, we were directed by and worked with similar director and cameraman, so I think that really helps. We were blessed.

Q: Often when talking about the focal point of Keyakizaka46 and Hirate-san's expression, I think the remark of 'Otona wa shinyoudekinai' often cited, but in reality it doesn't seem like that at all.

Techi: 'Adults cannot be trusted' that I said was.....how do I say it, in work and business, I really hate people with the mindset of 'for now just do it as it is (without any real effort).' It's not talking about people like TAKAHIRO-san and the staff that really bring seriousness and live full-spirited...

Q: I see. Shall I say that 'adults' as a concept cannot be trusted?

Techi: Sometimes in the recording session, my sound wouldn't come out. When that happened, I became really indebted to the Recording Director. As usual when in the album production process, there might be some people that hurriedly do and say 'let's just record it, fast.' But that person said 'It's okay'....He dimmed the light and let me sing, also did the recording with a minimum number of people. All of us with that person also went eat together. We also thought together how to convey the phrase [what do you know about me?] from 'Getsuyoubi~.' The staff also often really understand my thoughts. If theirs was different (with me) It might have been conflicted. I don't hate if the ideas I brought being told like it's not good like this, or that is not quite right, I'm rather glad that way.

'If I'm not lonely, it will not be delivered'

Q: ‘I want to change', you said when you're auditioning for Keyakizaka46. Until now, how positively have you change?

Techi: I didn't think about it at all. How did it come to this....(laughing). But even so I think I wanted the songs to reach. There are also lots of things I think I'm able to do now. Like performances, costumes, camera proportion, etc. After all no matter how many times you watch, it's needless to say that Keyakizaka's image is 'if it's this much, it's still not gonna be delivered.'

Q: Carrying that much of burden alone, isn't it that much lonely?

Techi: I might not consult about it much with the members...but as expected it's becoming lonely. It is becoming lonely but....maybe it's because I'm still 16 years old. If I grew a little bit more, maybe my way of thinking will change too.

Q: So intentionally, there's a part of you that accepted that loneliness?

Techi: If i don't feel lonely, then I wonder if i can deliver (the song's feeling) to a teenager who shared the same feeling. Because of that, it's impossible (to reach) if I didn't force myself to feel the same suffering. Now, I think I should deliver the song so it reaches the kid whose feeling is really painful. Wherever the teenager who feel the same pain are, they have a strong heart.

Q: That feeling, I think it's not only to the kids, but also delivered to the adults as well. It woke up the stinging important feeling inside, I think Keyakizaka46 also had that urgency to convey.

Techi: Is that so! So it is true. People are just forgot about it. I think anyone actually have that kind of emotion somewhere inside their heart. I'm not joining Keyakizaka because I'm supposed to look cool or cute.... I want to honestly express the feeling that human being can, but do not want to peek inside.

Q: It's really delivered. That's why, I think performance from Keyakizaka46's Hirate-san evokes a sincere reaction.

Techi: I want to deliver that much of honesty feeling. It's okay to be lame. Conversely, it's even better if it's really really lame.

Q: You want to deliver the raw emotion, without any indirect expression, I think.

Techi: I hate beautiful things. People that hid something, people that made lies, I hate those dishonest people. I think the fastest way to express it could only be on the national tour's final show. That's why, those people should really watch it.

Q: As expected, you really want to express it directly. In today's interview I personally thought so. Is there anything you wanna say?

Techi: Fufufu (laughing). Actually I kept things I'm thinking daily in a note. But, if one day I wrote a lyric that will still be a secret. I want to say many things (laughing).

Q: I really really want to hear that.

Techi: After secretly announcing it for a long time, then I'll say 'Actually I'm the one that wrote the song'....It might be interesting (laughing).
