The first explicit confirmation that the Yozakura family does actively cover up their exploits. We'll find out later that Kyoichiro's connections (mainly Seiji and their mutual government friend) are a huge part of the family's ability to sweep everything so thoroughly under the rug, but this is Taiyo's first encounter with that aspect of the spy world. He has no idea how likely or unlikely anything about this scenario is—for all he knows, a video getting leaked on "the dark web" could just be the spy version of uploading something to YouTube.
Also, I love that the mangaka literally just used a previous panel for the video thumbnail ajsnkkasjhdahdkj. Makes me wonder who was filming the video and how they managed to get this specific angle in the middle of a big fight. (Actually, who was filming this video? Was it Kyoichiro? I genuinely would not put it past him to have a secret camera hidden in his lapel and upload this video just to cause trouble.)

After reading vol 1 of Dogsred today, I feel completely vindicated in always wanting to call it “Dogsled” instead.
「お前たちは橇をひく犬だ!」 “You all are the dogs pulling the sled!”

Okay, honest question, who is Yotsuba?
OH HO HO ANON I AM ALL TOO HAPPY TO EXPLAIN :3
Yotsuba is a character from the greatest manga ever made, Yotsuba&!(or Yotsuba to! it translates weird, most fans just call it Yotsuba) which is a comedy slice-of-life manga about Yotsuba Koiwai, a five year old girl, and her very strange yet wholesome family and friends!
Tumblr media
It's from the same mangaka who gave us Azumanga Daioh, though while that manga is told in a four-panel comic style and doesn't really have much of an overarching plot, Youtsuba is done in a traditional manga style and despite also being very episodic there is a bit of a throughline surrounding Youtsuba getting settled into the neighborhood she just moved to, growing up, and eventually, in the later chapters, getting ready to go to school for the first time. Also, there are storylines that take place over multiple chapters as well! Despite the fact that the manga has been releasing since 2003, the chapters are pretty sporadic and the comic has only really covered about one year of the character's lives, but it never really feels slow or aimless. It feels almost...timeless? I guess. It's really nice.
Anyway, the manga is legit one of the most wholesome, funny, heartwarming things I have ever read. Kiyohiko Azuma is a fucking MASTER of comedy(you may have seen screencaps from a Sailor Moon fan comic he made going around on tumblr in which Jupiter accidentally sends Venus shooting across a pool that made me laugh so hard I cried) and he balances it well with lots of slow moments with GORGEOUS artwork where you can really take in the scenery and all of it is seeped in a wonderful nostalgia for childhood that legit makes me super emotional.
I don't think the manga has ever really taken off in terms of popularity, at least not to the degree that it deserves imo, which is likely in part due to the creator being firm about it never getting an anime adaptation and the sporadic release schedule, but it's far from unknown. There's been an official(I think??) score released and plenty of figurines and merch. It's also birthed a lot of memes, and it def has the same issue as One Piece where if you read it and love it you will turn into a walking billboard and try to drag your friends and family in with you. It's just THAT good!
You may have seen art of or people cosplaying Danbo, a "robot" made of old cardboard boxes that Yotsuba adores (Totally a real robot btw, def doesn't have a middle schooler shoved inside there, that would be silly wdym /s)
Tumblr media
And this pose from the back of one of the manga volumes featuring Yotsuba, her father, and their extremely tall friend Jumbo has been redrawn with other characters like 500000 billion times
Tumblr media
And you've also probably seen this going around tumblr before (that's Fūka she's my favorite cringe fail daughter I would literally die for her).
Tumblr media
Also, I would be doing a disservice if I didn't mention Yanda, who is a friend of Yotsuba's dad and also Yotsuba's nemesis. He's a loser who constantly gets dunked on by a toddler it's fucking hilarious.
Tumblr media
But yeah it really is just like, a manga that feels like a hug, or a warm blanket or something, it's so comforting and funny and fantastic, I find myself re-reading it any time life gets to be too hard just bcs it's that good at distracting me and reminding me that live is worth living.
And also given that it's literally my favorite manga, I saved up a bunch of screencaps to use as reaction images after a read one time, and thus now it's my own little joke that if you send me anon hate I'm just gonna send you back a picture of this cutie
Tumblr media
Bcs come on how can you be angry when you're looking at this???
Anyway here's some screencaps of the main supporting cast bcs I love all of them so much <3

YOU WILL READ YOTSUBA I AM NO LONGER ASKING

TokRev Final Season Hate???
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Damn!! The hate under these Twitter posts!!! And not them comparing it with Wind Breaker anima/manga... Like bitch, Wind Breaker's mangaka is a massive fanboy of TokRev and Ken Wakui to the point he created a character who looks similar to Baji (which is Sugishita) and they share the same birthday which is November 3rd. He even draws TokRev character fanarts and posts them on his Twitter account, so... 😐😐😐
People seriously need to stop comparing Tokyo Revengers to Wind Breaker. The two series are fundamentally different, with completely distinct storylines and themes. Let's not forget that Tokyo Revengers is about Bosozoku biker gangs intertwined with time travel, yakuza, and underworld mafias rather than just a simple delinquent narrative.
It's astounding how frequently people compare Wind Breaker to Tokyo Revengers. While WB isn't a bad anime by any means, it focuses primarily on intense physical confrontations. Viewers might be drawn to its well-choreographed fight scenes and impressive animation, and that's perfectly fine. However, this does not make it comparable to TokRev simply because both shows feature delinquent elements. In reality, the characters here aren't even true delinquents; they act more like unofficial town protectors, with the delinquent theme serving merely as a backdrop.
The level of admiration for this anime, purely based on its animation, is overwhelming. TokRev, on the other hand, is driven by its intricate story, and while its animation may not stand out, this doesn't mean WB is superior just because it boasts good choreography and visual appeal.
Preferring Haruka Sakura as a main character over Takemitchi Hanagaki is subjective, but it’s misleading to claim he's a better protagonist simply because his emotions are more straightforward, oscillating between anger and embarrassment.
WB is indeed enjoyable for its animation and fight scenes, but it cannot be fairly compared to TokRev. The two shows are fundamentally different. Firstly, WB's storyline is kind of weak, with a pacing so fast it could be compressed into a single episode. TokRev, conversely, has a well-crafted storyline with a steady pace that allows for deep emotional engagement. How can viewers feel emotionally connected when WB's narrative rushes by so quickly? To me, the characters in WB are flat, displaying only two basic emotions (we still don't know why Choji acted like a bitch btw 😑).
In my opinion, they are incomparable. Tokyo Revengers offers a richer, more emotionally resonant experience due to its well-paced storytelling and complex characters, unlike the hurried and simplistic approach of Wind Breaker.

i just started rewatching soul eater for the first time since i was 15 and Stein is so much more interesting to me than he was then... what are ur soul eater thoughts chip if youre willing to share
i did not experience soul eater as a wee youth, the first time i watched (and then read it) was 4 years ago (give or take) so i do not have the beautifully tinged nostalgia for the series others might. i say this only bc it colours my thoughts of the series pretty well lmao.
the anime is alot better than the manga just by virture of bones' animation being incredible but also its like 40% less painfully fucking horny (though still is its shounen) and the way some of that plot goes in the second half is so fucking bad in the manga (though not all, but god). It's not like the anime gets rid of everything like that stupid ass argument black star has with maka still makes me want to murder him but ultimately i like the anime and its writing more. i think my minds canon is just a meld of parts i like from both lol.
ohkubo is also just on my top ten list of mangaka i need to actually kill like hes a solid #3 on the needs to die list. his designs and art improvement were fun to watch and i do love halloween world and his toony stuff, undeniably bangs, but you can really tell by the end where his transformation into horny moe artist came from. sometimes i see people shocked by this and soul eater not's existence and i have to think did we read the same fucking manga...??
sorry i needed to get my bitching out before talking about stein. i love stein. so many things wrong with him. he is 70% of the reason i got around to watching it and 95% of the reason i kept reading it. i think how expressive he is is alot of his charm, like he does alot of moe body language you might not expect of his type of chara.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
hes #crazy and #madscientist and #edgy and #insaneasylum but also very silly and whimsical... kind of emblematic of the world of soul eater at large actually, this is also alot of the other characters appeal in this universe too (DEATH THE KID).
he's obsessive, hes empathetic, hes also sadistic, hes got a screw in his head, megane, fun with kids, perfect man. hes also got both an equal capacity for getting worse and better in him which can be fun to think about in either direction, and you've got characters that do influence him either way for that in the series. im also kind of remembering clicking the screw in his head is to help somewhat deal with his mental state actually, king of the disability aid...(?)
you can treat his character very seriously or lightheartedly, i think the writing in both versions maintains that balance well. It also makes everyone else who actually sticks around him somewhat deranged too (the fact he did surgery on spirit at school but spirit still interacts like pretty normally at work with him after meeting again. lmfao. THEY WENT DRINKING TOO) the fact he still calls spirit senpai also is so funny. its like 40% a dig at him but also 60% genuine. i hate gay people btw.
i like the thought that he was more stoic when he was younger but as he got older stopped trying to hide his eccentricities as much, and became more expressive lol. younger stein to me is a guy screaming in his head 247 but looking like 😐 while spirit stares at him trying to decipher what his eyelid twitching today means.

(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
gege never said the original draft was boring, he only said he needed to revise it to fit the shonen genre more. where tf are all these people getting that lie from??? if he thought jujutsu sousen draft was boring, it's story line would not be implemented into the culling game arc that we have today.
it was unpolished. not boring.
(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
also, the reason for the mc switch is because yuuji's character fits the shonen genre more.
naive and just happy all around ((naruto??? gon??? luffy????? deku??? that kid in black clover?? i forgot his name)). im not saying that serious characters like megumi as mc was never done in shonen before - but since jjk was gege's first series, he had to conform to shonen norms a little for his story to be approved.
yuuji's character fits what shueisha thinks a shonen protagonist should be (his whole thing of saving every single person around and all that) while megumi's kinda fit seinen more (picking and choosing who to save depending on whether or not he deems them as a good person). gege wanted megumi to stay the way he originally perceived him, so instead of changing megumi's personality - he just gave shueisha the mc they wanted with yuuji. and kept megumi the way he is but as a supporting character that still have the same strong ties to the plot like how he originally wanted.
this isnt a megumi vs yuuji as mc kinda thing btw - because if gege had it his way he would have made this two a duo mc but shueisha wanted to keep to their formula.
i'll put the translation screenshots on here from twt account @///soukatsu_ - you be the judge.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
tell me where he said boring there
((im just mad atm dont mind me. i'll probably go draw a chibigumi to calm myself <( •̀ᴖ•́)>))
im not, in anyway, against yuuji being the mc btw - i like how megumi was written in the story that we have now, granted i would love to see more of him, but his role in the story is just the way i like it! i'm just the type of fan who gets more invested in what the supporting characters are doing rather than the mc in any manga that i have ever read. e.g kagura (gintama), L (deathnote), sanemi? (kny), todoroki (mha), grey (fairytail), aki (csm), MEGUMI (jjk) etc etc.
so i like megumi as the supporting role.
and people seem to be forgetting that jjk almost got axed on its first ten chapters ((literally the same thing that almost happened to gintama back then)). so thats really just how publishing a series works. the mangaka (esp a first time serialized one) have to change the story flow here and there in order to conform to what the publisher want - not because they think the story they're trying to weave is boring.
tldr. gege never said he found his first draft boring. idk where all these people got this from. but i guess people wanna cling to anything that can keep their agenda running 🙄
im not gonna tag the general jjk hashtag here coz i'm kinda hating on the fandom atm lmao. its another week another megumi slander with these guys and its always coz of misinterpretation 🙄

Round 2, Match 13: Askeladd vs. Rune Saint John
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Submitted kids:
Askeladd: Thorfinn, Canute
Rune Saint John: Max Saint John, Quinn Saint Nicholas, Layne Dawncreek, Annawan Dawncreek, Corbitant Dawncreek
Propaganda under the cut!
Askeladd:
1. "The funny thing about Askeladd is he keeps killing the dad's of characters and then adopts them.
At the very start of the show he kills the main character's father. The 6 y/o main character vows revenge and follows him around trying to kill him for like ten years. Askeladd does not take this seriously at all and is basically his mentor and new dad, even though Thorfinn despises him.
Then later they meet Canute (prince of Denmark). Askeladd kills his right-hand-man/father-figure to toughen Canute up, then becomes Canute's evil advisor/father figure in his quest to overthrow his biological father (king of denmark)
Askeladd ends up killing the king of Denmark as well which makes us three for three on the father-killing.
None of this ever bites Askeladd in the ass btw he's free to kill and adopt and is having a grand old time. He's so funny about it, too"
2. "Askeladd is the leader of a band of Vikings. He was hired to kill a man named Thors. Thors' son Thorfinn witnessed the murdur of his father at the age of six and swore to avenge his death by killing Askeladd. So he joined Askeladd's band. Askeladd, who despite being the cause of Thors' death respected the man, and agreed to duel with Thorfinn if he followed his orders during fights. Thorfinn was defeated each time and Askeladd (in a twisted and mocking way) always gave him advice how to be better. In the end Thorfinn didn't kill Askeladd because - as Askeladd alluded to by his own story of killing someone out of hate - he would've killed him sometime earlier during those 11 years if he really hated him. In the end Thorfinn realized too late that from a hated person Askeladd became kind of a father figure to him during those 11 years. (The mangaka called Askeladd 'an amazing tsundere dad')
Canute is the youngest son of the Danish king. When the Danes were fighting in England the king sent Canute to lead the siege of London so Canute could die there and there wouldn't be any fights for the throne in the future. Askeladd, being a sly mastermind who plays 5D chess at all times, decided to save Canute from the enemy forces so when he'd return him safely to the king he could get into a position so he could influence Canute to protect Wales. But before that he had to get rid of Canute's previous adoptive father, Ragnar. (Yes, it's a pattern.) So when Ragnar was dying, he told Askeladd that ""Btw, the king hates his son and wants him dead"", so Askeladd had to recalculate a lot of things, and in the end he and Canute worked together to kill the king and create a situation where Canute could come out as a strong heir.
In his last minutes, Askeladd decided to not chose between Wales and Canute, and saved both instead, and used his last breath to convince Thorfinn to let go of his anger.
Sometimes a family is a half-Danish mercenary who kills father figures, an gremlin child from Iceland with anger issues, and a timid Danish prince who goes through a strong character developmen by becoming rejecting his religion."
Rune Saint John:
“Oh my god, oh lord where do I start. Within the FIRST CHAPTER of the FIRST BOOK he accidentally adopts a teenager in exchange for a magical artifact during a deal with a fae- this teen is Max! He then later adopts Quinn, whos older brother he is dating. Then he adopts the three Dawncreek children after a series of events in the second book that i wont get into due to plot spoilers, but it was ✨traumatic✨ AND the author had confirmed that there will be ANOTHER kid joining his found family in the upcoming 4th book. Rune is the chosen one, there are MANY prophecies about him, to the point that Quinn; who has the ability to see future probabilities, finds it difficult to look at him. He experienced horrific sexual assault, and he just wants to be a decent person and look after these traumatized magic children. Every member of his found family is a chaos gremlin- including Rune. Honestly this book series is so so very near and dear to my heart, and it handles topics like grooming and assault with incredible tact and care and more people should read about Rune and his queer disaster found family.”

Giving "problematic" BL a chance - Love Stage!!
I've been watching (or rewatching) some BL anime that have been deemed problematic to see really how bad they are... or if there's anything good in them!
Warning for the unfortunately usual BL tropes! And some spoilers!
Tumblr media
Synopsis
To those not familiar with the anime, Love Stage!! follows Izumi, a guy who was a stand-in for a female actress in a commercial while younger, and Ryouma, his counterpart in said commercial. The thing is, Ryouma believes Izumi is a girl and holds feelings for him for ten years after the shoot. And during a ten year anniversary for the commercial, Izumi and Ryouma are reunited... only for Ryouma to learn Izumi is a guy. Chaos ensues, and the problematic romance begins.
The Good
Overall, I actually enjoyed the series. It's very hard to take seriously and somewhat cringeworthy at times, but it's ridiculous enough to keep me coming back. I genuinely enjoyed watching Izumi and Ryouma bounce off each other in all their ridiculousness. While their romance didn't feel especially natural to me (especially due to some events I will mention later), they definitely had chemistry in other ways. I also found Izumi to be a likeable lead who had a story besides just the romance. He's an otaku and has a dream of being a mangaka, despite his parents wanting him to get into show business like them. He's also pretty clearly bisexual, which is always nice to see. There's also a real discussion about s*x that wasn't too weird or awkward, which was really nice to see in a genre this ridiculous. Also, they're adults? Low bar, I know, but this is BL from 2014.
The Bad
Like an unfortunate amount of BLs, there are multiple cases of SA and harassment. There's an earlier scene where Ryouma tries to force himself on Izumi, playing into the "I just can't help myself" trope. There's another scene in the latter half of the series that involves Izumi and a group of men. Both scenes are incredibly uncomfortable to watch, especially with how casually they're played off. To give credit where credit's due, Izumi is traumatized by both occurrences, but they fact that they're both played off as no big deal by everyone around him and he later gets into a relationship with his abuser is just not okay. On a far, far lesser note, it does play into the "tall masculine" and "meek feminine" tropes. And there are definitely some intimate scenes that do feel more like fanservice than natural relationship buildup.
Final Thoughts
Besides those seriously horrible aspects... I did have fun watching it. While the episodes with the assaults were very uncomfortable, most of the other episodes were just funny or enjoyable. I do really understand why people would avoid this. Also, side note, like a lot of BL, I really did not like the art style, but at least it's not a big offender of the Yaoi Chin™. And while I can't really comment on the overall f*tishy-ness of the whole thing, it just felt... really mild? I thought it would be a lot worse with the amount of hate it gets. Honestly, there's a lot of series that are worse offenders of these tropes that get a lot more love.
TLDR: Love Stage is problematic and has some really gross moments, but besides that is genuinely entertaining and quite funny. Overall, it's a lot more mild than it's often made out to be.
Do I recommend? Not really. Unless you really want some trashy shoujo to cringe and laugh at. Is it good representation? No, but it's no where near the worst I've seen.
You can find it on Crunchyroll or Hidive, btw.

surprise, surprise! what I am about to write will not be focusing on Ichigo, grimmichi or even Grimmjow. in an unexpected twist of fate I will actually be talking about Inoue Orihime and ichihime.
and frankly? I’m upset. and also very much done. so so unimaginably tired of all these canonical relationships made by mangakas desperate for a way to continue the story, to please the audience. because in this race to meet the expectations they create these soulless, superficial and seemingly loveless unions. they please only those who do not want anything beyond the cliche of “main character gets the girl in the end”. those who want a pretty picture to look at. no need for any depth, the masses will eat it up like starving dogs anyway, right? that’s what I feel happened to naruhina and sasusaku.
at least ichihime look like they love each other. you just know Kazui will grow up right, because he doesn’t have a perpetually absent father. so all in all Ichigo and Orihime are actually amongst the few lucky canonical spouses who don’t have a wagon of issues.
my gripe is with the way their relationship was set up. in this they are very similar to naruhina. an obviously infatuated girl and a totally oblivious boy? yeah... we are constantly showed face first into Orihime’s feelings for Ichigo, and I don’t have a problem with that, not really. I think the way Kubo portrayed her inner turmoil (her being jealous of Rukia) was phenomenal actually.
what I do have a problem with is:
I am not sure we went a single chapter with Orihime in it without a ‘btw she has a crush on Ichigo’ moment. like, atp we’re more likely to forget that Ichigo is a Shinigami, than about Orihime being in love with him. so it seems like her whole character is there JUST to like Ichigo and be the damsel in distress, when she could be so much more.
there aren’t ANY substantial moments where we can do nothing but concede that ‘yes, Ichigo does have a crush on Orihime too’. whatever moments we get don’t seem significant or serious enough for that. and I know there’s a time-skip, and obviously feelings could grow and develop in that time, but… it’s just icky how we only see Orihime obsessing over Ichigo, and not the other way around.
and you could claim that it’s because Ichigo has to deal with so much bullshit, so there’s no time left to see his feelings. but it’s objectively a terrible argument, considering what Inoue goes through while still having time to stop and drool over Ichigo.
anyway, do I hate ichihime? no, I like them. I’m as pleased with them as I could get with a canonical heterosexual relationship. they suit each other, they love each other, it’s all good. I’m just not getting anything out of them, that’ll make me go ‘damn, this is GOOD’. it’s adequate, I’ve had better.
but if I had to choose who Orihime would end up with it’d be a woman. either Tatsuki or Rukia. could be both. her relationship with Tatsuki is so… ughhh, it’s scrumptious. it’s giving what ichihime wishes it was giving. and her ending up with Rukia is also incredible, because we know Rukia considers Orihime her best friend, she likes her a ton. we also see Rukia worry about Orihime in this very tender way… oh god. and on Inoue’s end it’s how she’s jealous of Rukia, her beauty, grace, power, skills, bravery. do you see where this is going? I’m just saying, very sapphic of her.
ichihime is that comphet couple that start dating in high school, and last until their early 20s at which point they figure out both of them are gay.

Let's be fucking real for a second. (In light of MHA fans harrassing DekuBaku fans on twt yet again)
I WOULD BE ULTIMATELY SURPRISED IF DEKU AND BAKUGOU ACTUALLY BECOME A GAY COUPLE IN THE ENDGAME.
But this is a shounen manga.
Even if Uraraka goes on to continue being undeveloped and underutilized, she is still going to be Deku's endgame simply because she is a girl and he is a boy. Because gays are a no-no to most of Japanese media. Like, have you seen ANY shounen themed manga that has an openly gay protagonist or has a main romance plot involving a MLM relationship? Not side characters or side romance plots, ACTUAL MAIN CHARACTERS AND MAIN PLOTS.
I am not going to be surprised if Deku and Ochako get together because their relationship is the heteronormative check box for this series. I mean, for crying out loud the moment the mangaka realized the popular gay ships, you had Todoroki and Momo suddenly get chummy, and later we had a reveal that apparently Kirishima and Mina were close in middle school.
This is no hate to Ochako btw. I love her and am just disappointed that she has just been repeatedly crying "if heroes are doing the saving, then who will save the heroes?" since she first debuted. Like so what the fuck are you going to do then? Be a hero for heroes? A cop? Retire early and just become Deku's trophy wife support system?
Honestly I will be genuinely surprised if I'm absolutely wrong. I would love to be proven wrong and see queer inclusion or the writing on the ladies improve.

Vampire Knight? hmmm... i don't really know about VK, but my classmates LOVED vk when i was a student (the fandom was extreme af; almost religion-like)
should... i watch?
i like watching old edgy n horny animes, they have a very distinctive aesthetic that i enjoy the most
btw i watched hellsing ultimate when i was an angsty teenager
Only watch if you go in expecting it to be bad. Like I cannot say one good thing about this show except that the art by the mangaka is beautiful and it did make me cry once.
If it wasn't my first anime, I would for sure hate it.
Like if you know the reputation Twilight has, it's been compared to that. And that's so fair.

Omg omg I also find Yuta SO annoying. Apparently it's because Gege stopped working with the editor that suggested him a new mc just after Shibuya, notice how after Shibuya we stopped getting yuji/Sukuna, megumi and Nobara (lol), and he focused on his jjkk0 original protagonists, maki and yuta (and megumi wasnt even allowed to participate in the Zenin arc lol)
And yes I hated how rushed Sukuna's death (?) was because Gege couldn't stop going back to Yuta "yeah yeah sukuna died BTW YUTA IS IN DANGER NOW WE NEED TO SAVE HIM" Like...what? Why? Gege, we know Yuta will be FINE, this drama is such a huge waste of pages even sukuna and gojo stans join for a moment to say "wait why yuta now"
I want to think Mappa will fix the pacing, and the Sukuna death episode will be an entire episode, hell, even adding Megumi summoning his 10 shadows instead of just a puddle lol
Honestly while I can see some sukuna lore with gojo and yuji talk, I'm not interested in this whole Yuta rescue tiny arc
This is why I wish if a sequel is made another mangaka that actually likes yuji focuses on him, poor guy was interrupted over and over
See what I don't get is why did Gege simp for Sukuna so hard if he's just gonna kill him in a few pages and go back to Yuta?? He dedicated like a year to Sukuna's fight, gave him plot armor and made other characters ride his dick so hard for this??
And yeah he did my boy Yuji so wrong I won't even get into that

Erhm was tifa always so popular since 1997? Or was it a gradual thing? I heard cloti was like that. Btw condolence for everyone who had to suffer the consequences of bad storytelling etc ..
I'm sure perverts count for that ... I've seen some pretty distasteful commentaries on ultimania? I'm not sure where, but somewhere official. Calling her this "dynamite body" while calling her weak as well. God I hate that. But yeah, except for that reason.. why does tifa have so many fans? I love her but my other faves from other franchises aren't this popular. Like reallyyyy very popular. I saw a jp cloti say they're always amazed how popular tifa is overseas, as she's always winning polls like in gsd. Is she also popular in jp? Or is it more felt overseas? Hehe, mangaka of dagashi kashi is a fan of tifa too and other creative directors, but ive seen local polls that doesn't have her consistently on high list like top 5? So I'm confused about that.
That being said, when will she comes back to us 😭 I want to see her soon already. Don't they know we want to see her?
Tumblr media
Uhh yeah, she's always been popular.

And Nomura said back in 97 she's the canon love interest of the game.
The only poll she's lost recently is the nhk poll because the dumdums botted it and forced her ranking down and pushed the walking dead's up because they can't accept a corpse isn't as popular as Tifa.

Why? (read StL that is) Why do you love it? Asking this as someone who kinda hates that show btw. Feel free to ignore though.
What I love most is the characters, all of them are diverse and interesting in some form and you can't help but to relate to them; It just does a great job at showings teens and their problems. I like the artstyle and is really cute as well, the mangaka knows how to convey different feelings and vibes with her art, in a summary that is what i love the most.
Idk why do you hate it, i hope you can give it a second chance, both anime and manga are amazing to me.
