I cannot tell you how much I am cackling over the fact the SAG strike could completely screw over both Austin & Las Vegas for Liberty/F1.
#f1#theyâve spent YEARS planning GPS to specifically attract Hollywood interest#and none of them will be able to do any kind of promo work#no fun little promo vids#espnâs dilemma for Austin is solved#no one will talk to Martin brundle on the grid#so theyâll either pack it with influencers and any non SAG celebs#or itâs going to beâŚ. dryyyyyy#Iâm sure theyâll still attend#but they wonât be giving them any content at all

Hello, I âm harbouring some confounding torturous thoughts, plese, let me vent for a while. This is random, without particular order.itâs my opinion, I might be completely wrong.
1. I think N L never dated, while/after filming they believed their feelingâs werenât real, they were only projecting and living in the characters. Once they wrapped filming, theyâ d detach and those feelings would go away.
2. The last crucial moment before HBS was N visiting L for his play, we got a coupley pic where they are all over each other,L commenting LOVE x (!!!), also, N meets R. Later, N goest to see L T for his play wearing the same outfit including earrings as she was wearing to Lâ s play (weird?)
3. L starts regularly hooking up with A in Nov,he tells her what it is - a situationship, theyâ d spend some fun time together. Also, she canât post him.
4. The promo vids sart in Jan, L should have been freshly and madly in love with A, what we see is he is in love with N. A sees it as well.
5.Something happens between Ireland and London premiere, esp. the day of the premiere has strange vibes, N distances herself, L however reaches out. Could N overhear some conversation L had? Or did they have a discussion about their feelings? Did they decide to wait only after filming of s4?
6. Pap gate. I believe it was a cooperation of A and/or her mum and R/S. A didnât want to be a dirty little secret, R also runs a company providing photo and video services. Did he sell the pics? How much did he possibly earn?
7. After all of this, L starts processing everything that had happened, is unhappy and depressed. Vacationing and partying doesnât help, sees all the mess on SM, distances himself.
8.L misses N., later posts Bton outtakes, N doesnât reshare, posts about politics.
9. L is not only depressed but also embarrassed . Lettuce dance, crazy photo without neck..,
10. I hate R. I also think R hates L.

I'm calling it.
Bonus live clip for Muse will be a vid directed by JK.
đđ¤Ą
How did I get here?
Lemme drag you into my pit.
Streets are saying (the voices in my head đ) that the pictures from the preview all feature Summer activities.
WHAT IF MINKOOKIE TRAVEL VLOG MUKBANG BUDDY COP SHOW is 3 or 4 episodes filmed across several seasons. Spring in Jeju. Summer in Connecticut. Fall in Busan. Winter in Tokyo. đ¤đ¤đ¤ I'm iffy on the timeline as I am not a walking encyclopedia Parktannica, and we have no confirmation that the Jeju trip is even a part of the travel vlog, so just indulge me here.
For all we know the whole travel vlog could be a twenty minute bangtanb and the remainder of my hopes and dreams stored in a rust can hanging on to the back of a motorbike by a string, dragged along a dusty bumpy road. WHO KNOWS. NOT ME.
But! From the little we have seen, it does seem like a very 'buddy buddy' go traveling together, having fun before enlistment type of vibe. From the little that we saw.
What really surprised me was the timing. If it's dropping on the 8th of August, it'll be the closing coda of Jiminâs MUSE promo. NO BIG DEAL. NO NEED TO FREAK OR ANYTHING. Why would a travel (show, clip, video, ten episode series, saga) where two bro's travel to beautiful natural (romantic??) destinations, shown right after a second album about rising like a Phoenix after having endured a tough time while a special someone is supporting you, waiting for you, leading you to blooming and who makes you act bold. Longing to share your love for said muse, featuring lyrics like:
why should that be a big deal AT ALL??
Nope. It's just jikook jikooking after all. They are the masters of framing their work around the other. They make sure to include the other in nuanced ways that leave one seriously questioning ones sanity.
That's why I think Muse and the travel vlog overlapping/butting up against one another (no pun intended) is VERY much in Jiminâs wheelhouse. He is the master of revealing nothing while suggesting everything.
So, if it turns out the live clip is a live rendition of a song from MUSE, filmed by or with JK. Done conveniently while the two were traveling to a beautiful destination together?? Details never or rarely to be mentioned again? Classic Jikook.
If it turns out that none of the above is correct, I'm sure it'll be something equally as crazy. Something my mind is yet to conjure up.
I'm glad at least that we're finally counting down to this thing. đđđ¤Ą
#jikook#minkookie#park jimin#jungkook#minkookie vlog travel mukbang drinking buddy cop show is actually coming wtf people wtf why did nobody call me

Fic Promo: Song of a Champion
Now that @spacelemon has put up that amazing promo vid of the Mipha's Grace mod, it feels like a good time to do a little self-promo of my own, for something that I promise is related (otherwise I wouldn't be mentioning the vid; I am doing so in hopes of helping to get more eyeballs on it): a fic I've been writing since 2022, that is both inspired by and based on the mod. I've been lucky enough to have been allowed to play early versions of it, and was inspired to write a fic that retells BOTW with Mipha as the lead, taking cues from many plot points and armor redesigns present in the mod. If that's not enough to entice you, then please read on for my list of things that you might enjoy about this fic!
It's about Mipha Judging by the results of my poll, a lot of you like reading about Mipha! I've written a LOT about her over the past few years, but this is my most in-depth exploration of her yet. It's entirely centered on her, delving deep into her thoughts and feelings and exploring the myriad aspects of her personality as we follow her journey. Instead of Link waking up on the Great Plateau without his memories and being handed the responsibility of saving Hyrule, it's Mipha who must walk this path; unlike in the base game, she's not a fridged love interest for Link to be sad about, she's an active heroine in her own right with a monumental task ahead of her from the moment she wakes up, not to mention a lot of questions. How did she get there? Can she do this? What--and who--has she forgotten in her century-long slumber? How will she find her way in this strange new world she awakens to? What kind of bonds will she forge with the people she meets along her way? All these and more are tackled in great depth as she goes on her adventure, setting out with, initially, little more than her own courage, determination, and compassion. I've been told by many people that I write their favorite Mipha, and though this isn't my first time giving her a starring role, I fully believe this is my best character work for her so far. I've given her so much to do and act on and react to, exploring her rich inner life and personality and character FAR beyond just shipping stuff, and developed a lot of really fun friendships for her and gone heavy on her familial relationships as well. There is miphlink, but it's only one aspect, and Mipha herself is the shining star at the heart of everything.
2. It takes inspiration from Wind Waker Mainly, the concept of a character who is not the chosen one stepping up and proving themselves worthy and going on to save Hyrule. If you, like me, enjoyed that aspect of Wind Waker, then you'll like this story!
3. It plays with the lore in fun ways Do you like the older bits of lore from pre-Skyward Sword games? Like the Golden Goddesses and other deities? Then you'll like the bits of it I've weaved in!
4. It treats the NPCs with care, love, and nuance One of the things I'm proudest of about this story, that I've gotten praise from others for, is how the various NPCs are written. I've treated them all like people in their own right, who all have their own rich inner lives, schedules, interests, priorities, and feelings that don't revolve around the protagonist. Mipha befriends most of them, yes, but that's because she treats them with compassion and kindness too. Nobody is shallow here, I've gone to great pains to illustrate a world filled with people all living their own lives that intersect with Mipha's journey in various ways, and allowed people to just be human and make mistakes and have doubts but ultimately just be people. There's a lot of emphasis on Mipha's relationships with her family, and I've certainly won praise for my depiction of these dynamics, but also a ton of friendships being formed and explored, and people have told me that I made certain characters interesting and likable to them where the game failed to do so.
5. It has awesome fight scenes BOTW is a game with a lot of combat, so anyone novelizing it better be good at writing that kind of scene. Fortunately, I am! This is an action-packed story, not just for its own sake, but to show the dangerous world Mipha is traveling through and the challenges she has to face as she ventures into each Divine Beast and cleanses them of their respective Blights. I write really fast-paced action that also shows the characters' mindsets while fighting, and strikes a balance between showing off their strengths and that they're up to the challenge, while also respecting their opponents and demonstrating why the Champions of a hundred years ago fell to these things, why NPCs fear certain monsters. And speaking of respecting opponents, I've taken stuff from Age of Calamity as well as some of my own inventions, to beef up the boss fights, a certain area, and make every Divine Beast threatening (we all know how scary Medoh wasn't in-game).
6. It has beautiful prose/descriptions But you don't have to just take my word for it! Here's a sample from the rough draft of chapter 42!
Shards of light drifted across her floor, leaves caught in the current of clouds flowing over the moon. Mipha took a moment to watch them before closing the door behind herself. The water in her sleeping pool murmured a melody of rest and relaxation after a long day, calling her to it, but she ignored it for now. Sheâd done all her preparations for tomorrow, downed a warm elixir crafted from a few hearty lizards, and now only one thing remained to do before going to bed. It wasnât a need, as the other tasks had been, but a want. Nothing wrong with that. She crossed the room to the old chest that lay tucked beneath her window, opening the lid with a whining creak from the aged hinges. A folded length of fabric the color of spilt starlight lay atop the item she sought; Mipha moved it aside. Her breath catching, she withdrew the armor beneath and held it up to the softly swaying illumination of the moon outside and the luminous stone lamps within.
All in all, I think this fic is some of my best work, and shouldn't be missed if you're a Mipha fan like I am (she is my favorite Zora, so if it's okay I'd like to use this as a belated submission for that Zora May prompt). She truly is the star of the show, with so much to offer as a lead character, moving through a world treated with depth and care. If you're in the market for a BOTW retelling that does something different, something no other retelling has done, and does it really well, then give it a chance! You can read it here on AO3. :3

A Goode year ... 2023
Time for my usual review of Matthew Goode's year. Every year I sit down to write these thinking - hmm - we didnât see enough of Matthew Goode this year.  [NEVER enough]  But then each year Iâm surprised by how busy he is. But this year we had several months of Goodey being MIA. How did we cope?
January -
You can tell I'm searching for 'news' when the biggest thing that happened in January was the release of a 13 year old interview with Matthew on the Ellen Show! Well it got us excited coz most of the old YouTubes of it had disappeared.
[đˇ screenshot by @matthewgiggles - she did 1061 of these babies đ] Oh and Matthew was robbed in the Critics Choice Awards for his performance in 'The Offer' . ROBBED!!! Oh well - at least he was nominated.
February -
Not a Goode month - I seriously couldn't find any Goode news in the archive.
March -
In March we got excited about Matthew playing either A RABBIT or a hedgehog (coz we will take ANYTHING during this drought) in a new animation 'Tally Ho' also known as 'Spiked'.
đˇ @goodecollective Hoping Matthew plays Walter the rabbit coz that's a bigger part - but I guess he could be the older brother.
April -
We got our first look at Matthew filming 'Freud's Last Session' -
[đˇ Mark Doyle/Splash News]
... and the first 'official' promo pics from Sony Pictures Classics -
... And, bizarrely, the Whitehead Railway Museum (a location for FLS) spilled the beans that we'd see this in December.
May -
We were starved of Goode news -
June -
I mean WTF happened in June?
By July -
We were starting to worry....
August -
Luckily some more FLS casting news started trickling out and we were READY.
Oh and some of Matthew's costumes for ADOW were up for auction - so hopefully some lucky fans are sniffing those as I write this -
In September -
We started getting little bit of buzz about Matthew being a contender for Best Supporting Actor Oscars. đŻ
And then towards the end of the month - this happened -
youtube
Matthew and ex F1 World champ Jenson Button doing lots of outdoorsy stuff to promote Hackett London's Autumn Winter collection -
Hallelujah - proof of life at last!
As well as the vid we were treated to loads of gorgeous promo pics by Charlie Gray. đ
October -
Started off about the devil game golf. Matthew played at the Dunhill Links golf tournament -
đˇ Dunhill Links and 'Gaz the Caddie'
So great that @asgoodeasgold was there so we got some gorgeous pics. Check them out here -https://www.tumblr.com/asgoodeasgold/730860856364122112/im-so-glad-you-enjoyed-goodeywatch-thank-you?source=share
Then, at last, we got a sneaky look at 'Freud's Last Session' -
youtube
... and guess what? Matthew was SO goode.
The movie premiered at AFI Fest but sadly, due to the strike, we missed out on seeing Matthew there. The review started appearing and guess what - our guy did good. More than holding his own working with Sir Anthony Hopkins so who could ask for more?
November
The superlatives about Matthew's performance as C.S. Lewis kept on coming. AND Matthew was spotted in Seville with his mate Jenson again for yet another Hackett campaign...
đˇ all from @RenegadeJFG Twitter.
December
OMG there has been so much Goode action I don't know where to start. Matthew packed with so many interviews, zooms and articles to promote 'Freud's Last Session'. Exhausting for Matthew and a bit overwhelming for fans - but I'm not complaining. Here's just few appearances -
Matthew's interviews gave us some fascinating insights to the type of human he really is and what he believes - as well as the usual fun, laughter and the constant 'non-verbal leakage' that he is SO aware of.
AND a few hints that he is in talks to reprise BOB!
We got the official trailer in December and 'Freud's Last Session' had a limited release in the US (L.A. and New York).
youtube
Matthew has continued to receive great reviews for his work in FLS and let's hope that directors and award voters sit up and take notice!
So what will the next year bring? Well - it's looking goode.

I am a post hiatus newbie with a recently discovered tumblr addiction & wanted to ask your thoughts about something.
Some people now seem very convinced a hard launch is imminent, linked to tour in some way. What do you think the reaction will be if they are wrong? Do you worry that if things are not addressed in the way people want, or that the truth is not the narrative that some fans have convinced themselves to be true, that they may perceive this as anticlimactic and it might turn negative?
it was the night before tit and all through my blog
i finally get around to some last minute replies to hard launch asks
ok so. hard launch schmard launch im not going to get into that whole conversation again bc i feel like everyone on here has said things that i agree with to varying degrees and i have like 10 things i could say about it too. the phouse, big, the interviews, we know you know, like every moment without actually saying it. i think the way that they keep emphasizing the new era, confronting the past, taking back what the internet took from them... the door being opened a little bit more with every recent video, it's pretty obvious that even if we've accepted we Know it just feels like we've reached the time with the tour and everything where a hard launch would just kinda fit in there. imo i don't think it's going to come in the form of them kissing on stage unfortunately but i think, like in the tone of recent vids, there will just be more jokes and stories that make it glaringly obvious that they're together or for example making fun of us for going feral over all these things for years that a normal couple might do. don't get me wrong this is a good question and i think there will always be people who see the negative side of things and will be like "i can't believe they didn't address/say so and so or denied this thing i believed for so long" but i think they know what our expectations are to an extent and they've been very intentional with the theme and promo of the tour- no matter what things end up being revealed or addressed, i think it will still be enough to surprise most people or make us crazy enough that there will be little room for disappointment in what isn't revealed.
does that make sense? i don't know if this is a very good answer but we're going to find out soon enough ig !
#dnp#dan and phil#tit tour#asks#anon#answered#phard launch#personally i still think the real hard launch is going to be all the extra tour content#think about the pics and stories we got in 2018 but old gay and no fucks left to give dnp#im so ready

My dear Snoopy the only merch of him I got / other than the plush found đ
Anyways below is my debrief of my LVGP experience đđđ
Anyways this was my first LVGP and I know for a fact I will be returning to LVGP next year so worth it and hopping I can get more girlies to come and split it so hotel is a bit cheaper
First love how F1-ified everything is like I was in Vegas earlier this year and saw like a few things here and there I loved the Extra promo they had around.
Now to the weather idk if Iâm like used to this specific kind of chill ? Or since we were legging it the entire day we just stayed warm but all the vids complaining about the cold had me a little peeved because I cancelled my pool club plans the day b4 when I actually probably would have enjoyed lounging and day drinking, (also to note I had a spirit personal item aka basically a jansport) so space was v limited and didnât want to waste space in a swim suit + cover up)
Anyways went to the Free Fan Experience that I had gotten b4 I even got my GP ticket manifesting hard being in Vegas. And for a free event it was pretty cool based like the f1 academy was a cool demo, I did the pit stop challenge which was really fun and tiring, while it was just one lug nut I have a new found respect for it, but lowkey alpine should hire me I would have been ready for Estie and had a 6.27 time change.
Looped around the hub a few times and line was LONGGGGGGGG and had a feeling snoopy was also no longer in stock so we didnât get in line and stopped for food at the restaurant that was basically at the end of the hub line, Had 3/5 chicken wings before I felt like I was getting sick was also drinking like blue lemonade daiquiri not sure what it was but I did vomit it up before even leaving the restaurant so âŚ. Yeah and it was the only thing I had eaten since breakfast but I felt better after because I am queen of Rallying and at this point I am wearing kitten heals so feet are hurtinggggg but we continue and stop at Walgreens where I say Hi to the redbull boys as Max and Checo cutouts great us I buy the foot pain / freeze thing, a sugar free Red Bull, and a buzz ball as we head back to our hotel and I Take the L and buy $20 slides and the gift shop and finally also check in.
All this took btwn when we landed at 11am -4pm on foot and I wish I wore an Apple Watch to get my steps but I know I got a few miles in
Obvi freshen up take note that I have 2 blisters one on each foot and one was already popped !!! Yay.
Relax for a bit after showing put the foot stuff on and get the kitten heals back on because the show goes on. (I pregame my drinks the Red Bull is giving me wings)
We do a few loops and get extra steps in because we are just girls who canât get instructions correctly đ¤đ I can carry a pretty good speed walk tho and my friend wore docs sheâs also slightly handicapped as we enter the Venetian once again and stop by the hub to see no line and itâs about 7:30 pm we go in and no snoops of course we we just buy malbon crew necks and grab our Amex radios as we get lost in the Venetian trying to go to the sphere zone đđđ and just barley as we scan out tickets in see the end of the drivers parade.
Food Review that was included w/ ticket
1. All food was Luke warm
2. Had a slice of the cheese pizza it was a 6/10 felt like a frozen pizza that was reheated
3. âSavory Pieâ it a chicken pot pie 7/10 this one actually had potential I think would have 10/10 if it was actually hot/warm
4. Sâmore brownie thing 8/10 very good and decadent
ďżźNone of the food made me sick so that was a win!
Now drinks in my opinion the should have had a separate line for ppl who didnât want alcohol anyways the cocktail bar area personally need to be ran better my bartender was like low on supplies and I orders a vodka Red Bull and he had to go look for one and then like told be if I wanted to try it w/ a splash of Jarrito which I said yes but then he also had to look for it so it was like ???? If it wasnât ready why offer it to me like just taking too long to make a vodka redbull imo. Came back later during the race and wanted a cocktail but even tho the lines were shorter they were takinggggg forever so I just I just got a Heineken from their bar instead way faster.
Now since I got my ticket very last minute, I didnât really see the vents they were going to be holding before the race so when Ludacris came on best believe I was having a good time! Like his set really hyped up the crowd! He was playing for the ladies which I always appreciate. When baby came on the three other girls in our section, also screamed and we all sang along. Low-key some people gave us a little looks when we sang/ vibing out the songs but also what else are we supposed to do be miserable waiting for the race to start no. Like Move Bitch GET OUT THE WAYYYY was playing during the warm-up laps like having Luda play in the background as the cars went was amazing!! Also I stayed in the same area the entire time next time if I go for all three days my Explorer better options in the zone to see because it was pretty full when the race started, but as it kept going, people dispersed, and some came back and some just left but it was good enough and so crazy to see the actual gaps btwn the cars like 3-5 seconds is actually really long when you watch them zoom also for me it helped knowing who had what color camera on there car like Carlos having the neon yellow and Charlie having black one so when I wasnât paying attention to the commentary I knew who was passing in front of me. And then on that note the transmission on the radios was a few minutes behind the live race and the audio in the zone also I wish there was a screen so we could keep up with the race and not have to be constantly checking my phone / watching a live stream eating up my phone battery.
Loved the section of ppl we were with because Ferrari based but also pro spanish speaker like I think when Carlos overtook Charles I cheered when they passed us again and quite a few ppl joined in and I was like âCheco common bud we need to do betterâ and ppl started talking about yeah Checo letâs go! And the next few laps we all cheered for them and colapinto as well that someone else in the section was rallying for and it was just fun cheeeing as they passed like even though they canât hear us just good vibes in the GA stands
My friend is a Lewis Hamilton stan so we were very happy with the finish and around the last 3 laps we were just singing Viva Las Vegas because Carlos was also on Podi and Max was wdc x4 and the end was great and for those moments my feet didnât hurt but then we began the trek back and caught the fire work show outside of the Venetian which was also super cool
Skipped out on clubbing because we didnât want to go in w/ our crew necks and even did have club clothes on the feet were starting to give but I have never been barefoot in Vegas and it was still a touch early for me to start. Got back to hotel about 12:30 ish and scrolled til like 2 and saw all the radio drama lmao and had kinda a bad sleep because Iâm like princess and the pee when it comes to pillows and both the ones on my bed didnât do it for me. Got back up at 5:30 am to get ready to checkout as we had a 7:30am flight, lemme just say Las Vegas at 6am is a very fun people watch experience as we saw other like us getting ready to leave, people bare foot coming back in, a lot of dude bros drunk still looking for the next thing, drunk ppl falling out of the uber as we got on out uber and saw the sunrise over the strip.
The flight back was nice because lots of familiar faces from the flight b4 and so manyyyy ppl in their merch, everyone in my row and Iâm assuming most of the place was slumped! Like I had a moment where I woke back up and looks over to my right and the guy next to me asleep and the guy next to him not even on the tray table just fully folded over himself knocked out and closed my eyes and nodded off once again for a few before we landed and I got back home and layed down for the rest of the day as my body was so sore and I had to drain my blister yum yum.
#anyways had lots of fun#def going back and so excited for it !!!!!#las vegas gp live#also yeah the strip was stinky w/ weed scent#makes you miss the good ole days it stank of cigarettes

If there are no fans of Taylor's lyric vids it's because I'm dead. They add so much richness to already elite lyrics. But I was immediately suspicious during The Manuscript video.
Because my understanding of what a manuscript is, is the following:
I had assumed, like many prior to the album drop, this was meant to make us think of books. These days in publishing a manuscript will be typed, but it's not the book in its final form.
In the Tortured Poet's library popups in a couple cities, there were a lot of books. Blank ones, damaged ones, ones with the names of TTPD song titles, and notably a handwritten "Story of Us." That hand written Story of Us then showed up in the Fortnight MV. Interesting...
Of course, any long time fan knows the role Taylor's diaries play in her music making as well. Her music has always sounded confessional and it's been one component of her musical super power. During Lover promo, excerpts from her diaries were sold alongside the album. She's underscored their importance many times.
So imagine my surprise when The Manuscript video... doesn't show a manuscript...
That is a screenplay.
And I click back to the first seconds of the video... looking at those underlined letters and asked myself... is it The Man U Script? *if i was a maaaAAn*
The way she has these lyrics written out in screenplay form... we're watching a scene narrating the "She" character reading something unpublished, perhaps handwritten, perhaps a diary, maybe lyrics. I assume the "HE" which is in voiceover is what she's reading and her lines are spoken.
Anyway, I wont break down the full scene because I haven't watched it in this new light yet. But this tension between the song name at first glance - something unpublished or handwritten. Messy, unfinished, not meant for the public, perhaps even at its most authentic... vs. characters in roles. Men that are scripted... well that's adding a whole knew dimension to it.
I really appreciate how before I watched this, the song feels like it's told in vignettes and time moves dramatically. But I didn't appreciate the play on POV initially (and there's a ton of it in this - very good - album)
Also noteworthy that, yes, there seems to be reference to the ATW short film, which makes even more sense to me now.
But anyway, the narrative about this album has once again become about the men. Which isn't new, but always disappointing. Genuinely, I got something really different out of this album by not focusing on solving those romance riddles with my own confirmation bias. The other story, the one about a singular artist, percolating beneath the surface is far more interesting to me.
It wouldn't be the first time she's called out the people who consume her work in this album and, frankly, it's one of my favorite things about it. It's cutting and it's earned. It's also heartbreaking. But for a song that confused me, is the bonus on all the regular editions of TTPD, I think it would be a lot more satisfying if this is the message she's leaving us with. That once I publish my work, my stories, in it's final constructed/edited form, I've moved from the place I was when I experienced them. And then when its published the truths you seek to dig out from my words don't belong to me - it belongs to you. Just a thought.
Edit:
I think there are a lot of ways to read this. In conversation with the fans/outsiders is the main one, which I touch on before.
But for a more literal reading using some clues from the video, I know how Taylor canât resist utilizing a number when itâs available for a little clue. Now I think reading each page number by era⌠is actually a fun (still devastating) way to do that. As youâll imagine 3 and 4 are where those lines show up.
But we end on 7 where sheâs accepting she doesnât own those albums anymore, but all that sheâs left with is the manuscript - which I would guess is her music (published and unpublished) and diaries.
Lover era + promo diary era was her first entirely owned era, but as the song says âlooking backâ or re-recording/vault tracks/doing it on your terms is the only way to move forward.
Also how about the hard to catch glitch over the words âthe actorsâ?

Just wanted to say hi and that I hope you have a great weekend! It seems like you get a ton of negative asks and I can imagine that it must be draining.
Iâm also going into OBX season 4 with no expectations and Iâm excited, because the little promo vid we got the other day was fun and gave off pogues season one vibes. Is there anything in particular you hope to see this season?
tysm anon <3 ngl it's been a little exhausting which is why i've distanced myself a bit from everything. Same as you, I don't have any real expectations for s4 anymore, but the video promo was such a nice suprise. I just hope they really go back to the core of the show and focus on the pogues this time without wasting screentime on characters no one really cares about

âSupernatural at Comic Con 2007 Part 1 by hmfergieâ
Holly Ollis is on stage, standing in front of the podium mic with Craig Tomashoff sitting beside her. To the right of Ollis is a long clothed table with mics and name cards for each of attending panelists.
Holly Ollis: Okay, I have a little news for you first. Um, Jared Padalecki really wanted to be here today. (audience awâs) But, unfortunately he was working making.. the first episode of the new season of the show till six in the morning and missed his flight. (audience awâs) So, Iâm sorry. However! (holds finger up) we have Jensen Ackles in the house, (audience cheers) (briefly raises up her fists in cheer) who will more than make up for it, and (gestures to the right of the stage) in addition to our other producers. (audience chuckles)
And- Yeah, no pressure. And I just wanted to introduce our moderator. Itâs the West Coast Bureau Chief for TV Guide, Mister Craig Tomashoff. (audience claps) (?Heâs getting to introduce?) you into the show and some videos, and then heâll be back to introduce our panel. (audience cheers and claps)
Ollis exits the stage. Tomashoff stands up and takes the podium.
Tomashoff: Thank-Thank you guys, uh, for coming. I- Iâm actually totally fascinated by the concept of the Winchester girls. Um. (audience screams) (holds out hands) Hey, I donât know if you rank out, by the way, but I could always use that sort of fanbase. So. (audience laughs) (?Everything- Everything-?)
Audience member: (?Orange Howage?) has TV Guide in the TV. (audience cheers and claps)
Tomashoff: Alright. (shrugs) Thanks for letting me on to the, uh, the feedback. And, uh, just get me my own crew and then weâre set.
Um, I just wanted to say something, like, really quick. Itâs actually an, uh, honor moderating for this one. Iâve been doing a lot of- of over this weekend but, uh, I actually really love the show. Iâm just e-excited (audience wooâs) (?And apparently youâre too excited..?) (gestures hand) (?to be here one time?) (?) (audience claps and cheers)
Itâs just that the- the beauty of the TV reminds you of, like, as a kid you just stay up late to (gestures) watch, like, the Chiller Theater and all that kind of stuff. Only you, like, (raises hands up) get into this show and get the excitement.. uh, without the used car ads and all that kind of stuff. It-It- Itâs just- Itâs-Itâs a really entertaining show, one of the most fun that we have on TV.
Audience member: Yeah! (audience cheers)
Tomashoff: So, what- I wanna tell you what we have coming up for you before we get to our panel. Uh, we have a couple of surprises, uh, and things for you to look at. Uuum, first of all, we have, uh- uh.. a world premiere of a âScript to Screen,â uh, video. Itâs going to be from the season 2 dvd collection, uh, (audience cheers) Sept. 11th. A beside the scenes making of last seasonâs season finale. Which Iâm going to guess you all know the name of.
Audience: âAll Hell Breaks Loose, Part 2!â
Tomashoff: All- All, uh, âAll Hell Breaks Looseâ.. (holds two fingers up) âPart 2â (audience cheers) Uuuum, It just shows why they never leave the gates of hell open, by the way. (audience laughs) (holds up hand) If I could leave with any bit of advice today, never open âem. And, if you open âem (gestures) (?check?) it quickly. (audience laughs) Because nothing good is coming out. (audience laughs)
Um, weâre gonna follow that with a 2 in a half minute hightlight reel put together by the producers, exclusively for you guys. (audience cheers) (?) all the stuff, and weâll be back.
Tomashoff leaves the podium and stage. Video skips to Tomashoff back at the podium.
Tomashoff: -(?Canât these guys?) (?) like, one day j-just wake up, sleep late.. (audience laughs) get a sandwich, go to a movie.
âSupernatural at Comic Con 2007 Part 2 by hmfergieâ
(0:00-H2)- introduction
Tomashoff is standing at the podium mic
Tomashoff: First up, producer, Sera Gamble.
The audience cheer and clap. Gamble walks across the stage to the far right of the stage to sit in the last seat with a name card.
âJensen Ackles at Comic Con 2007 by emyrize (0:00-0:34)â
Tomashoff: Okay, next up, a-a man youâll recognize, duh, Eric Kripke, (audience cheers and claps) executive producer and creator.
A stage assistant walks up to the front of the table and fixes a name card. Kripke walks up on stage and stops near the chair that is the third seat to the right of the podium. Kripke waves and then sits down. The woman leaves.
Tomashoff: Alright, uh- uh, a young man whoâs, uh, you know, getting a break with the show. And, uh, hopefully, uh, things turn out for him pretty well. I think they might. Uh, Jensen Ackles.
The audience screams and claps. Jensen walks on stage. The stage assistant returns to the front of the table to signals to Jensen where to sit. Jensen waves at the crowd, touches Kripkeâs shoulder and then sits to the left of Gamble.
Tomashoff: And the last, and never, never least in anyoneâs hearts, co-E.P., Mr. Ben Edlund.
The audience cheers and claps. Gamble and Jensen clap. Edlund walks on stage and sits to the left of Kripke. Tomashoff leaves the podium and goes to sit in between Kripke and Jensen. The stage assistant taps on the table and then leaves.
âTV Guide Supernatural Interview SDCC 2007 Pt 1 by Gonturan74â
Tomashoff: Alright, first, thank- thank you guys for being here.
Kripke: No, thank you.
â˘(1:06-H2, 0:08-G1)-SDCC07;Q1- First Comic Con Experience (Kripke, Jensen, Gamble)
Tomashoff: (looks at his right) But it- Now, I, uh- (looks at towards his left) This is your first Comic-con, right? (Jensen and Gamble nod) (looks back to his right) Were your first like full-on Comic-Con experience for you guys?
Jensen shrugs and nods at Gamble. Gamble nods back.
âJenen Ackles/Eric Kripke talk about Season 3 by XKathy09X- (0:08-0:31)â
Kripke: Yeah, we screened the, uh, Pilot, uh, a couple years about, but, uh, none of us were here, so this is (raises hand) our first interaction with, uh, Comic-Con. Weâre overwhelmed. (audience cheers and claps) So, thanks for showing up!
Tomashoff: (looks at Jensen) Um, w-what do yâall think so far? (shrugs) What would you rate the experience?
Jensen: Iâm- Iâm still- Iâm waiting for my heart race to.. (waves to himself) (audience and Kripke laughs) (?um, stop racin- stop racing.?)
Gamble: Thatâs more cameras than Iâve (raises hand) ever seen pointed- (laughs). (audience laughs) (laughs to Jensen) I should sit next to you all the time. (audience and Jensen laugh)
Tomashoff: Alright. So (?I think?) the only problem youâre going to have today is people arenât very enthusiastic. (audience chuckles) (to the audience) So, I think, uhh, youâll have to amp it up a little bit for these guys. That would be great.
Um, yeah. I guess, ehhh, what I want to do is sort of start with the end, with the finale we saw a little bit of. Iiii- I mentioned before, y-you gotta know if you leave the Gates of Hell open⌠itâs not going to be good. So, um-
Kripke: No, no, itâs rarely good.
Tomashoff: Yeah, but a- a couple seconds, maybe.
â˘(2:02-H2,1:04-G1)-SDCC07;Q2A- Season 3 teasers (Kripke)
Tomashoff: So, whatâs, uh, whatâs in store? What, uh, what can you tell everybody that, uh, we got to look a little bit forward to?
Kripke: Yeah, uh.. You know, f-y- season 3 is the, um- a-a war time season. Uumm, which, uh, in the- itâs- itâs a giddy time inside the writers room. (audience chuckles) Uhhm, because, you know, weâve had, you know, two seasons of.. mythology. And- and quite frankly, (undulates his hand and repeatedly nods) the mythology is starting to get.. a little complicated towards the end there. And, um, and so to be able to kind of.. (swipes) wipe it clean and have a fresh slate and (gestures) lead organically into, uh, you know, a-a-a much bigger escalation and a much more vital storyline.
Jensen is making an exaggerated face while pouring himself some water. The audience giggles.
Kripke: Which is, âitâs the end of the world,â like, âpick of arms, choose a side.â You know, âtry to fight it,â ummm.. and, uh- and just, you know, âraise some hell.â
So, um, you know, weâre- weâre really excited, um, for this season. And we think, you know, weâve always aimed for kind of like the big picture of mythic storytelling of like Star Wars, and Lord of the Rings, and Matrix. And, thereâs always a point, in which.. you know, you kind of set the chess board, and itâs kind of time for the fun stuff to begin? And, itâs time for the fun stuff to begin. (audience cheers and claps. Jensen nods.)
Tomashoff: (?Seasonâs been-?) (shrugs) Itâs been kind of fun so far. But, uh,
Kripke: Yeah, itâs been fun so far. But it, you know, it- itâs time for the battles and itâs time for the good stuff. And, weâve been, like, the whole time when this show got picked up I was like, (prays) âOh, please make it to season 3, because season 3 is when all hell breaks loose.â (audience giggles) And, uh, Iâm glad that here we are. And, uh, and weâre looking to deliver for the fans. (audience cheers and claps)
â˘(3:27-H2, 2:29-G1)-SDCC07;Q2B â Season 3 Plan (Kripke)
Tomashoff: (?That said?) have you ever mapped it out? Have you mapped it out that much in advance? (Kripke: Itâs-) Uh, have you mapped it out to (gestures) âOkay, we to season 3 weâre going to be here, and four and five.â
Kripke: Y-You have kind of like a rough map, you know? You very intentionally leave a large, gaping holes in it because (gestures) certain storylines..(nods) accelerate and certain storylines take longer than you think. But, yeah, (gestures) thereâs like a rough plan that (looks at Tomashoff), you know, that weâre still, uh, vaguely on track with, yeah.
âTV Guide Supernatural Panel SDCC Part 2 Season 3 Spoilers by Gonturan74â
â˘(3:51-H2, 0:00-G2)-SDCC07;Q3A- New Characters âRuby and Belaâ (Kripke, Jensen, Edlund)
Tomashoff: (?That said-?) Now, I know thereâs, yâknow, (opens hands) some things you can maybe say about the, uh, n-new season. Uh, some new characters. Uh, (Kripke nods: uh-huh) two, uh, female characters.
The audience starts clapping. Kripke points out into the audience and laughs. Jensen raises his eyebrows and claps. Gamble claps and then straightens her hair behind ears.
Tomashoff: (?) (nods and briefly gestures to the audience) uh, apparently the Winchester girls! Uh, (looks to his left) What can you guys tell us-
Jensen: Thank God. (audience laughs)
âJensen Ackles at Comic Con 2007 by emyrize (0:37-0:54)â
Tomashoff: I see. So, well, how often have you had to go into the writersâ room and say, just, you know. âCome on.â
Jensen: Just anybody but Jared, for cryinâ out- (audience and Gamble laugh) Something! Someone! (smiles)
Gamble: Youâre saying that now.
Jensen: (nods) Yeah. (smiles)
Tomashoff: Thatâs why heâs not here.
Jensen: Yes.
Tomashoff: So, uh- So, we can say those kinds of things. What- what can you say, uh, about the new, uh, (looks to Kripke) characters? The two new females that are coming in?
Kripke: Ummm- uh, Well, yâknow, a- a couple of things. Thereâs- one is, and this is sort of to fans and certain misconceptions and whatnot. Um. (audience laughs. Jensen smiles) There- there not brought in to be the boyâs girlfriends. (Jensen shakes his head) There-thereâs not going to be the four of them, like, riding in the impala, (The audience laughs. Jensen laughs to himself) like, eating Scooby-Snacks, and.. (audience laughs) You know. An-and, like, you know, and-and playing like- thatâs not the intention at all.
There-there brought in to be, um, a-antagonists and obstacles to the boys. (Jensen nods his head) Um, they thread in and out of stories the same way a lot of our other characters did, like, uh, you know, Gordon, or Agent Hendrickson, or Bobby (audience woo) and Ellen. (a few audience wooâs and claps) And weâre working really hard to introduce them.. correctly and making them part of the fabric of the show that the-the universe was always going to expand, and thereâs always going to be these new characters. And so- different characters.
And, so, weâre introducing them right. And, um- and theyâre both very different. (Jensen nods) You know, Ruby is kind of unhinged and a little ruthless, a little dangerous. Um, tune in for episode two. Thereâs a big reveal on Ruby. Sheâs sort of (Jensen nods) not who she seems to be. Umm, and, uh, Bela, who Iâll let Ben because Ben Edlund created her.
âSupernatural at Comic Con 3 by sarahmoniousâ
Edlund: Ah. (Jensen smiles. Some of the audience wooâs and claps) Hi, um, (audience laughs) Well, Bela is, uh, you know, in this world. Uh, pretty much everyone whoâs got contact with the Supernatural, the stories weâve been telling, theyâre cause-based, right? I mean, like, itâs a- itâs a heroic struggle of good verses evil. And, Bela is designed to be, uh, not that. You know, she doesnât really have a cause. Sheâs in it for herself. She is a, uh.., a thief basically.
And so, weâre going to play, I think, um, some pretty interesting games with her. And, uh, sheâs going to be kind of a constant foil for, um, the boysâ intensive activities. Not constant like Scooby Doo kind of foil. (audience chuckles) Thatâs not what Iâm talking about. Um, (big nod) but, yeah! So, sheâs pretty cool. Sheâs a cat burglar.
Kripke: Yeah.
Edlund: Sheâs hot. (audience and Kripke laugh)
â˘(6:28-H2, 2:40-G2, 0:59-S3)-SDCC07;Q3B- New SPN characters (Jensen)
Tomashoff: That helps. (turns to Jensen) Um, Jensen, what do you think about having the newww characters in here? Ehp, no love interests, apparently. (Jensen laughs) So, you know, skip that. But, uh.
âJensen Ackles at Comic Con 2007 by emyrize (0:55-1:53)â
Jensen: Um, well, you know, I- I think itâs, uh- I-I know from Jared and Iâs perspective itâs very welcoming to have, uh, to have people come on the show to- You can actually, um-um, build a relationship, form a-a structured relationship with someone. I know that, um, you know, weâve had a couple of characters come in and out. Umm, you know, we had Dad on for a while, and that was, uh, (a few audience wooâs) you know, great to have him. And-and every time heâd come on, there was just this (gestures) dynamic that- that we felt very comfortable in, because it was something that was familiar to us. Uh, same thing with, uh, you know, with-with Jim Beaver who playing Bobby. (audience cheers and claps. Kripke nods.) (Jensen nods and claps)
Um, you know, itâs just- you get to- you get to really.. dive in and explore a relationship between two characters when you get to work with them more. So, uh, I think to- to introduce, uh, characters that are going to be around a bit more, whatever they might be, you get to see more of the dynamic between those characters, between the-the two brothers and it just- (gestures) It adds more layers to an already very layered show. (nods)
â˘(7:28-H2, 3:40-G2)-SDCC07;Q4- Returning Characters (Gamble)
Tomashoff: Okay. Ah- (shrugs) I-I probably canât say a whole lot about whoâs coming back, whether itâs Dad, whether itâs anybody. I donât- (gestures) Sera could you maybe talk a little bit about the other things coming back from ll-last season?
Gamble: Weâre going to see Gordon again. (audience wooâs) Gordon is⌠bad things, bad things are in store for Gordon (laughs). (Jensen and audience laugh)
Tomashoff: (?) You say that very sadistically. So
Gamble: I- Gordon is one of my favorite characters, and it just so happens that we were working on something for him this past week, so Iâm- Iâm really stoked. And that heâs such- Sterling K. Brown is a fantastic actor and that we were really lucky to get him. And heâs, um, an Army Husband on âArmy Wives,â so we donât have him for long. So, we wanted to make sure we took advantage of him.
And, um, weâre- weâre really exploring Bobby this season. Weâre telling his story (audience cheers and claps) for the first time. (nods) (Jensen pumps his fist) And we have- we have these two women. And theyâll be right in the boysâ faces. But, they wonât make them happy or satisfied (Jensen chuckles. The audience laughs) in any way. (laughs) (Jensen smirks and briefly raises his eyebrows) Itâs just more pain and torture, because thatâs what our show is. (audience claps)
Tomashoff: (to Jensen) You will regret being happy about this, by the way. (?Uh, now that theyâre on-?)
Jensen: (shrugs and leans forward in his chair) I-Hey, I donât know. (shakes head) Just any-anything- anything.
Gamble: Iâm sorry, youâre the star on the most nihilistic show on network (Jensen briefly drops his head) television. (laughs) (audience and Kripke laugh)
âJensen Ackles at Comic Con 2007 by emyrize- (1:57-2:05)â
Jensen: Fantastic.
â˘(4:49-G2)-SDCC07;Q5- Deanâs 1 Year (Jensen)
Tomashoff: Okay, looking at this one now. In-in theory anyway, Dean has a year to live.
Jensen: (nods) Yes.
Tomashoff: Right? Uhh, you know, thereâs always the story, âIf you had a year to live, what are you gonna do?â So, uh, you got a year to live. What are you gonna do?
Jensen: (laughs) (audience laughs) (briefly tilts head) Well.
Tomashoff: Well, apparently.. battle the (?demon of your life?)-
âJensen Ackles at Comic Con 2007 by emyrize- (2:06-3:03)â
Jensen: Well, what would Dean do? Uh, (laughs and wipes lip) I think itâs fairly obvious what Dean would do. (audience laughs and catcalls) (nods) And, uh, he plans on doing that. (audience laughs) (turns to Kripke and laughs)
âSupernatural at Comic Con 2007 Part 3 by hmfergie- (0:00-0:20)â
Kripke: Lots!
Jensen: (to the audience) Lots, lots of that.
Tomashoff: (?You can see the weekend show on?) Cinemax, Friday nights after midnight.
Jensen: Yes. (Kripke laughs) (?All of a sudden the game show?)
Kripke: âThe Dean Winchester Diaries!â (The audience laughs. Jensen laughs and claps.) (laughs)
âSupernatural at Comic Con 5 by sarahmoniousâ
Jensen: Um, you know, so- so you mix that in and-and also trying to- to stay true to what he is and what he does with his- with his brother. And-and- and keeping that, uh, you know that- that road show (gestures) and that heroic force going. But also, uh, you know, having that knowledge of knowing that, âHey, I got limited time.â (shrugs and then looks at Tomashoff) âIâm gonna make the most of it.â (looks back at the crowd) And, uh, his idea of making the most of it is, uh, (laughs) (audience laughs)
Gamble: Thatâd be a European (Jensen: Good times.) ver- movie. (laughs)
Jensen: (nods to Gamble) Yes.
Tomashoff: H-Hopefully no torture though.
Jensen: No.

â˘(0:31-S5, 0:03-G3)-SDCC07;Q6- Sam and Dean fun, pre-finale, theme (Jensen, Kripke)
Tomashoff: Seems like theyâd torture you. Um, although you actually raised one point. I-I sort of thought, again watching that, that I feel kind of sorry for- for Sam and Dean. And, like, really- How much fun do you ever get to have? Itâs dark. Itâs- you beat (Edlund laughs) demons all the time.
Have you ever thought of doing, I donât know, the Hawaiian episode or something like that. (audience laughs) You know?
Kripke: Heâs-
Jensen: I have often been trying to pitch the demon surfer⌠(nods at Tomashoff) (audience laughs) in Hawaii.
Kripke: Thatâs true. There-there- Thatâs true.
Tomashoff: (looks at Kripke) Youâre on the spot now. (?You got to turn this one?)
Kripke: Um, you know, itâs-itâs- thatâs not really the show.
The audience awâs and laughs. Jensen slaps the table and then briefly slumps into the back in his chair, looking away off stage. The audience laughs.
Kripke: I mean-I mean.. I mean, weâve been (shrugs) itâs- You know the- you know, like, uh, it was a-a- I think it was a quote from a-a Sam Raimi actually. Uh, which is (audience woo), you know, uh, âInvent characters you love and then torture them.â (The audience laughs. Jensen pumps his brow, smiles, and nods) Um-And-and, you know, Sam and Dean, thatâs their heroic struggle, man. (Jensen nods) I mean, you know, weâre-weâre.. hoping for a happy ending for the Winchester boys when itâs all said and done.
But, um- But, you know, theyâve- theyâve got a lot of work to do. And then- You know, but, they have fun along the way. I mean, you know, itâs just their fun is sort of, you know, kind of reckless-cowboy fun. Itâs roadhouses and beer and loose women (Jensen looks at Gamble and then smiles big and nods. The audience laughs) and.. you know!
â Supernatural at Comic Con 2007 Part 3 by hmfergie- (0:21-0:40) â
Tomashoff: Y-You say that like a negative. (?you know what Iâm saying?)
Kripke: Ye- No, Iâm not- Itâs not a negative. Iâm saying there- thereâs like a real- (Jensen smiles) you know, part of this show is itâs-itâs, you know itâs on the road. And-and thereâs sort like a wish fulfillment to just be able to.. ditch your job, ditch your life, (Jensen nods) get in a muscle car, and just cruise the country. And.. thatâs fun too! I mean, that part.. you know, that âGreat American Road Trip.â Uh, you know, there are moments so, uh, you know, itâs not all bad. Itâs, uh.. You canât have a horror show and (Edlund laughs) have, like, nice things happen, like, (Jensen and the audience laugh) âWhat a delightful piece of pie.â (audience laughs)
âJensen Ackles at Comic Con 2007 by emyrize- (3:05-3:20)â
â˘(1:36-G3)-SDCC07;Q7A- Hollywood Babylon 2x18 (Edlund, Kripke)
Tomashoff: You guys, you know, one of the- one of my favorites from last year was the, I think Ben, you wrote, the, uh, Hollywood episode.
âJensen Ackles at Comic Con 2007 by emyrize- (3:05-3:20)â
Kripke: Yeahh. (Jensen nods)
Tomashoff: Which was the- (The audience cheers and claps. Jensen claps) They really know you.
Edlund: Yeah. (laughs)
Tomashoff: Um, I mean, where did that come from? It was- It was kind of a funnn one off sort of thing.
Edlund: Oh, yeah. Well, I mean, you know, the- that sort of just kind of.. proves that they can have fun in a way. Itâs more we have fun.. than they have it. You know.
Kripke: (laughs) Yeah. Right. Thatâs right. (Jensen smiles and nods)
Edlund: They have a lighter moments here and there. And, that one I think came from.. Well, I mean, really the Hollywood episode is the challenge for every kind of show, you know what I mean? Like, youâre eventually going to take a look at something like this, (Jensen nods) especially if you donât.. Ah, you know, if youâre getting around the country this is a show about Americana in a lot of ways. Probably, because these big, you know, central kind of draws, Americana, American ghost stories take place there.
Um, but that was just really, really lots of fun to do. I donât know.
âJensen Ackles at Comic Con 2007 by emyrize- (3:21-4:12)â
Kripke: An-And we became, uh- We became enamored with the idea of.. that they make- theyâre making, basically, an episode of Supernatural.. (Edlund: Right) in the show. And, um, you know, one thing that Iâll completely admit this, and (Edlund laughs) if I get busted for it, I donât really give a crap. (audience laughs. Jensen smiles.) The, um, the Gary Cole was this studio executive, you know? (audience woo and clap) And every note he gave.. the production were real notes we got from the network. (Jensen laughs. The audience ooâs, and claps)
So, if you go back and look at it, we have had to suffer every one of those notes like, âWhy canât it be brighter?â (Edlund laughs) And-and you know, and âWhy?â and all those things. And then.. we hung him. And, (Edlund: Yeah.) (Audience laughs. Jensen laughs) (mimics his neck snapping) And snapped his neck! And then, so weâre like, âWell, thatâs our response.â (Edlund laughs. The audience laughs)
â Supernatural at Comic Con 2007 Part 3 by hmfergie- (0:41)â
Tomashoff: Finally get even after all this time.
Edlund: A lot of catharsis in that show. (Jensen shrugs)
Kripke: Yeah, it was very cathectic, if nothing else. (Jensen wipes his forehead, laughing) So.
Gamble?: (?)(?crying?)
â˘(3:17-G3, 0:55-H3, 3:55-E)-SDCC07;Q7B- Hollywood Babylon 2x18 âExec Notesâ (Kripke, Edlund)
Tomashoff: I-I-Iâm curious what you heard when you were pitching the show. D-Did you guys do it? (?)
Kripke: You know, it was the funniest thing! The notes call us.. and weâre you know-
Edlund: They were loving it!
Kripke: They loved it.
Edlund: Yeah!
Kripke: âWe-We loved it! Itâs so funny!â And weâre like, âReally? Because weâre ripping on you.â (audience and Edlund laughs. Jensen silently laughs.) Umm, but they loved it. So. yeah.
Edlund: Yeah.
Kripke: Yeah.

Kripke: They have a sense of humor.
Edlund: Itâs-Itâs true. Itâs a fun house mirror. I like those. (Kripke and Edlund laugh) I like to look like- to look like a little round one and then a tall, skinny one.

â˘(4:02-G3, 1:39-H3, 0:00-M6.5)-SDCC07;Q8- Origin âreactionâ (Kripke)
Tomashoff: Uh, you know what? Actually, d-uh, Iâm curious if you could step back to the beginning of the show when youâre pitching it around just to get (Kripke nods) it on the air, what the reaction was. I mean, was it- (gestures) was it the same, âYeah, but could we get them a dog?â (audience laughs)
Kripke: Uh, (laughs) No. No. You know, it- it was- it was an idea or a version of an ide- of an idea that I had for.. probably like eight years before it got set up. And-and it used to get a (Tomashoff nods: mhm) cold response. Um, but there were (gestures) different versions of it. And some of them sucked out loud. (audience giggles) And, like, you know, one of them was an anthology, and one of them was a reporter, and, you know, thereâs all these different versions of the show. And- and it always met with a collective yawn.
Um, but, it, you know, it just goes to show you, itâs like, you know, you hold on to an idea long enough and-and (gestures) sooner or later the market kind of turns and, you know, the- the market of what people are looking for just kind of turns in your favor. And, I happen to be pitching it just by a fluke of timing right as âGrudge,â and âthe Ringâ were, like, tearing up the box office. So, you know, it was a really easy pitch to sit down in front of, you know, a network and say, â You know, âthe Ringâ and âthe Grudgeâ are doingâ (Edlund laughs) âyou know, in box office. I wanna do that on TV.â
Um, and of course, (gestures) you donât- the show isnât really that. (Tomashoff: Yeah) In your heart you know what you want the show to be. (gestures) But, you just need a pitch to get them excited. (shrugs) And-and they, you know, they were- they were really excited.
We were actually in a bidding war on- over the Pilot once (gestures) once the time was right. (Tomashoff nods) So, um, you know, a lot of enthusiasm for the idea. Um, and then I wrote it and then they said, âWe hate it.â (Edlund and audience laughs. Jensen smiles) But-but at least the pitch sold.
I-eh- thatâs really true. I spent three months on the script and was like, âI love- Hereâs my baby.â (mimics carefully handing over his script) (audience giggles) And I showed it to them and they were like, (mimics flipping through the script) âThis is- this is unreadable.â And they tore it up (mimics tearing the script) (audience awâs) And-and-and they said, âWe hate it.â And-and so I, uh, me and you know, co-executive producer Peter Johnson- (gestures) I spent three months on the first draft. We tore it up. We re-broke. (gestures) And, the entire story, (looks at Tomashoff) I wrote it in ten days. And-and that was the pilot that got shot.
Tomashoff: (nods) (audience woo) I can see why you hung âem, uh, (thumbs) hung the guy and broke his neck now. (audience laughs)

Dum, Itâs kind of the first time where I really got a sense of who Dean was, and I was able to peel back some layers.
Uhhm, but I think more recently, I think my-my favorite, just because the amount of, uh- uh, the toll that it took on me personally, was the, uh, the season finale of season 2, uh, âAll Hell Breaks Loose, Part 2â (nods) (audience cheers and claps) Um⌠You know, after building a relationship both on-camera and off-camera with, you know, the guy that plays your brother, uh, on the show (gestures) and then have to play scenes, uh, in a room with him (gestures) dead, uh, was (briefly looks at Tomashoff) (Tomashoff nods) very, very, you know, hard and emotional for me.

And- And so that we, uh- (gestures) A lot of times, yeah, we absolutely stand them on apple boxes off camera. So, theyâre standing on (gestures box shapes), you know, theyâre standing on like, you know, a little two-foot riser to just kind of get up into Jaredâs orbit. (Edlund and audience laughs. Gamble smiles)
Jensen: Itâs true because if you have a shot thatâs over (mimics shot), you know, over her shoulder, looking at Jared (Kripke: Y-) if it was without any lifting-
Kripke: The cameraâs going to be like- (mimics high camera) (Gamble looks up)
Jensen: (mimics camera with a low angle shot of his nose with three fingers) It would be up his nose. (Kripke nods. The audience laughs. Gamble smiles) (nods and mouths âyeahâ to Kripke)
Kripke: Yeah. (Jensen shrugs and mouths âyeahâ)
Fan: Thank you.
Jensen: (shakes his head) Which nobody wants that. (The audience, Gamble, and Kripke laugh)
â˘(8:26-H4, 1:46-GF6)-SDCC07;Q18- Impala 67 âSam drivingâ (Jensen, Kripke)
Fan: Hi. Um, in season 2 s-
Kripke: Check out the Metallicar shirt. Thatâs sweet. (audience cheers and claps. Jensen smiles and nods) Right on.
Fan: In season 2, Sam didnât get to drive the Impala on screen, at all. Is there a reason behind it? And is he going to drive in season 3?
Jensen: (leans forward to the mic) Because itâs my car. (audience cheers and claps) (Jensen smiles)
Kripke: (?Woah, love that?) Thatâs- thatâs the answer, man. (Jensen shrugs) Personally, in the room, I always get pissed when theyâre like, âAnd then Sam drives the Impala.â And Iâm like, (bangs the table) âWhy does Dean let him drive it!?â (audience laughs. Jensen smiles) (laughs) Yâknow? So, yeah. Itâs Deanâs car. (Jensen laughs and nods)
Gamble: And weâre like, âBecause Dean just got shot in the leg.â (audience laughs. Jensen throws a hand up and nods)
âSupernatural Panel clips - Comic Con 2007 Part 19 by mobycat33â
Fan: Um, while sheâs still standing this is the woman who does the plastic Winchester fansite online.
Kripke: Oh! (audience claps and cheers. Jensen claps)
Fan: And she actually has them with her but sheâs too embarrassed to ask if you could hold them while she takes a picture? (audience laughs)
Kripke: What are they?
Tomashoff: Nope, (shakes head) maâam. (negative gesture)
Fan: The Plastic Winchesters.
Tomashoff: They canât do that, maâam.
Kripke: Yeah, sorry.
WB Rep: Go to the Warner Brothersâ booth after this. Theyâre all going to be at the Warner Brothers booth at four. (Jensen nods)
â˘(2:46-GF6, 0:23-M19)-SDCC07;Q19- SPN Music âAlbum/Playlistâ (Kripke, Jensen)
Fan: Okay. (Kripke: Yeah) So, now on to my question. (Edlund laughs) (WB Rep: Iâm sorry) Um.. The music. Everyone has said, you know, the music on the show is just fantastic. (audience wooâs) Thank you so much for bringing good music back to the American Television (?Land?). (audience claps and cheers. Jensen nods)
On the CW boards, we have a thread where we, y-you know, try to pick out what the music is from each episode. We have some holes, and we have some cases where.. we donât.. have the music. We know what it is, but we donât.. we canât find it.
Kripke: uh-huh.
Fan: Is there ever going to be an official list of all the songs that are on the show? And then, are there ever going to be.. (Edlund laughs) ways where we can download it? Or see the "official" soundtrack, which would be just awesome. (Jensen turns to talk off mic to Kripke) And tomorrow (?)-
Kripke: We- We tr- We tried and just because, you know- (gestures) I hear you, this music is, you know-
Fan: Phenomenal.
Kripke: My-m-my passion (Edlund laughs) And, you know, so- We tried, actually, to do an official soundtrack. (gestures) The-the- Honestly, maybe, you know, I donât know, find the right person to write it at Warner Music. (gestures) They-They werenât interested. (audience gasps and awâs) They said- they said, because- because thereâs so many classic rock compilations, that Supernatural would just be another one, and they didnât quite see the market for it? (audience booâs) I KNOW!
Tomashoff: Are they here? (Jensen shrugs)
Kripke: Itâs not like weâre biased or anything! (Edlund laughs)
Gamble: (turns to Jensen, leans back, and places hands on chest) (?Horrible Idea?)
Jensen: (?) I know. (puts hand on chest) (?All of them?)
Kripke: Um, I know. And-And so,- and so, uhh, (gestures) we- we actually tried. And they- and they said no to m- us. (audience aw) But, um, but (gestures) maybe, you know, w-I mean, t-thatâs a cool idea. And we do certainly have the list, so, you know, if nothing else we could, you know, put a playlist together on iTunes or something and- (audience wooâs) People could- (chuckles and then turns and points towards his left) Somebody- somebody in our gang write that down. (audience claps) And letâs.. deal with that on, uh, Monday.
Fan: Give me your email address, Iâll-Iâll tell you (?what the method is?)
Kripke looks at the table and nods. The audience, Jensen and Edlund laugh. Gamble smiles.

Tomashoff: We have time for just a couple more.
Edlund: (?Go ahead.?)
Fan: Hi.
Kripke: Hi
â˘(0:08-GF7, 0:06-M20)-SDCC07;Q20A- Set Mishaps (Jensen)
Fan: Um, I know somebody already asked about the pranks and everything but, uh- What has been, and this is for everybody- What has been, like.. Has there been a moment whereee something really amusing or something really just out of the blue has happened while-during production thatâs been.. funny or strange? Or just- Not supernatural or anything, but um, (laughs) no pun intended.
Jensen: Oh, thereâs stuff that happens all the (scratches forehead) time. I mean, even just yesterday, I was shooting a scene with aaa- with a little boy, eh, who comes up and gives me a hug (gestures), and he has this, like, uh, (mimes something in his hand) Nintendo case in his- in his hand, and- and it hooks to my jacket and as he takes off.
Jensen flicks his hand to represent the boy taking off. And then Jensen jerks his body forward on to the table arm first. The audience and Gamble laugh. Jensen gets back up.
Jensen: You know and that was- that was just- Another tim- Yesterday as well, I was- (mimics reaching and grabbing) I was supposed to reach in the Impala and grab my bag, while the-the- the props person had shut the bagâs strap in the door. So, when I went to get it out, it was like-
Jensen mimics grabbing and then pulling on a bag strap but meeting resistance and failing in response. Edlund and the audience laughs. Gamble smiles.
Jensen: (throws up hands) âWhat is with the-?â (audience laughs) You know, so. (nods) Itâs a.. Itâs a-Itâs a-Itâs a constant occurrence and usually youâll see them on the (tilts head and nods) gag reels.
â˘(1:08-GF7, 1:05-M20)-SDCC07;Q20B- SPN Music âFilm Reelâ (Kripke, Jensen)
Fan: Um, one quick question and really random. What was the music for the, uh, film reel that was played?
Kripke: Oh! (Jensen leans forward and looks at Kripke) Thatâs a Robert Rodiguez song
Jensen: Robert Rodiguez song, yeah. (Gamble nods)
Kripke: for I think, âOnce Upon a Time in Mexico.â (audience wooâs) And, uh, Phil Sgriccia, again, he cut that, (Jensen nods) uh, at the end of last season instead of working. (shrugs) (audience and Edlund laugh. Jensen smiles) So. (laughs) But yeah.
âSupernatural Panel clips - Comic Con 2007 Part 21 by mobycat33â
Fan: Thank you.
Tomashoff: Okay. (holds up two fingers) Next, probably get two more? (?)
â˘(1:32-GF7, 0:05-M21)-SDCC07;Q21- Season 2 DVD âPromosâ (Kripke)
Fan: During the last season you did some really, really excellent promos. Uh, I was really glad to see the ProMax BDA.. (Kripke nods) giving five awards for, uh, for those promos. Um, I was wondering if you are preserving those? Wool they-Will they be available on the DVD collection, things like the- the Johnny Cash, âGodâs Gonna Cut You Downâ?
Kripke: Oh. (nods and then shrugs) (Jensen nods)
Fan: Yeah.
Kripke: Um⌠Uh, ther-uh, No, but what a great idea. (Edlund and the audience laugh) Um, uh, you know, the season two DVDâs are already done. And, unfortunately, uh, those promos arenât on them. But, um- But thatâs a really great idea for the future. I mean, yeah.
Some of those are really, uh, badass. And.. actually, I hav-I have to give the- you know, uh, Thereâs two guys, Anthony and Chris at the CW who are, like, (gestures) as passionate about the show as everybody here. And theyâre (gestures) always cutting (Jensen nods) these promos and showing them to us. And they did-they cut that Johnny Cash thing. And, theyâre, you know- Theyâre really kicking ass. So, um. But.. But no, not on the DVD, unfortunately. But maybe, you know- maybe weâll figure out someplace.
Fan: Fantastic. I hope there are some people here who never seen âSupernaturalâ who are now going to go home and start watching it! (audience claps and cheers. Jensen tilts head and nods)
Kripke: Thank you.
Tomashoff: Okay, last- last question.
â˘(2:40-GF7, 1:14-M21)-SDCC07;Q22- SPN Music âDecidingâ (Kripke)
Fan: Hello, I just wanted to know who the genius behind the music, if it was one person, or a group effort on choosing.
Kripke: Uh, itâs a group effort. (Jensen nods: ?definitely?) Uh, uh, you know, Iâm the one who says, âDonât even bring me anything after 1980.â (Edlund and audience laughs. Some audience wooâs) Um, but, uh- but, uh, Phil Sgriccia and we have a music supervisor, Alex, and, um- and everyoneâs always (gestures) combing for like, you know, âWhatâs- Whatâs a Foreigner song?â or you know- or-or, you know, âWhatâs the classic rock song we havenât heard yet that we all remember but havenât heard in like 10 years that we can put in the show?â So, no. Itâs definitely a- definitely a team effort.
Fan: Well, itâs all very, very good.
Kripke: Thanks.
Fan: Thank you.
â Supernatural Panel clips - Comic Con 2007 Part 22 by mobycat33â
(3:18-GF7, 0:00-M22)- closing
Jensen: Thank you.
Tomashoff: Thank you. Now before, uh, weâre gonna have to wrap it up,(gestures to Kripke) but I know you have something you wanted to say?
Kripke: Yeah, the one thing I wanted to say is- is- is a- a (gestures) kind of a combination.. Thank you so much, and also sort of a mission:
Um, Season 3, guys, we got (gestures) It-it was a little touch and go whether (Jensen nods) or not there was going to be a season 3. And I want to make sure that thereâs a season 4. And- (audience cheers. Jensen nods) We-we love the show, (scratches chest) uh, we love the show and weâre passionate about it. And-and (gestures) what we always talk about amongst ourselves is, we have, uh, some the (gestures) smartest, most passionate, most intelligent fans of any show on television. (audience wooâs. Jensen nods. Edlund claps.)
Um, and- (gestures to audience) and I- and I would ask you. I mean, you know, in a certain way season 4 is in the audienceâs hands. And so, (gestures) tell your friends and spread the word and-and-and spread the gospel of Supernatural, (Edlund laughs) because weâre gonna keep- weâre gonna keep making âem as long as, you know, we have the audience to watch it. So, um, I would- I would ask for your help.
And-and itâs a team effort. Weâre sort of all in this together. But-but (gestures) for now, yyou guys are the greatest. And we have- we have, again, we have the best fans. And thank you so damned much. (The audience claps and cheers. Jensen and Edlund clap.)
Tomashoff: And, uh, weâre giving a reminder the (holds up card) autograph, uh, the autograph signing is going to be at the Warner Brothers booth #4329, starting at 4:00.
(turns back and forth and gestures all around) Thank you guys for coming! (Jensen starts getting up) And thank everybody up here.
Kripke: Thank you.
Everybody starts getting up and moving around. Edlund, Jensen, and Gamble leave the stage. Then Kripke follows. Last to leave the stage is Ollis and Tomashoff. Then video ends.

why do you think there's this disparity between doyoung as taeyong promos overall as soloists (that all fuels the fire to the already existent akgae fanwars) ? not blaming doyoung but just curious i guess sm doesn't see potential for ty to reach the gp meanwhile doyoung has and is doing it
but TY had a full album ready but sm decided to go with a mini for tap meanwhile DY released a full album on his debut
jut wanna discuss
The main reason is that Taeyong went to the military. He will dissapear from the public's eye for two years. It's a huge time period in SK. Idols fear they won't comeback to their level of pre-enlistment popularity for a reason. Taeyong also talked a lot about this fear. Of being forgotten.
There is no point investing in trying to catch new fans if they won't be given easy means to develop real interest (media and tv appearences, concerts, merch, new albums).
Just think of how JaeDo are believed to be a dead ship by newer fans because there is little concent from thm. It is the older fans, who knew JaeDo pre 2020, are still very dedicated. It is the same idea with Tae and his core fans. The fans he already has will wait for him. The viewers of TV-shows he could have appeared in - will not care.
Secondly, the time of album preparation. Taeyong had to release early, before his enlistment. He even had to shoot his MV in Japan, and discuss arrangement of his songs deep in the night, half awake. He had no time to go on many programmes.
There is little need, really, to introduce Taeyong. Everyone knows he is a great rapper and dancer. He is front and centre in 127 MVs, he has his own multiple performance clips, features, special stages, solo stages (Super M, Link). If someone develops an interest "hm, is this guy any good as an artist?", there is no lack of material for them to watch on YT. Meanwhile there are so called NCTzens who don't think Doyoung can sing that well. Do needs to be introduced as a real deal. And away from k-pop, as a soloist he sings in other genres (pop-rock and band music). Lots of live singing clips thus are needed. There was a comment "YT keeps offering me vids with this guy, is he OK? he sings so much" (paraphrasing).
Tae has lots of tiktoks for Tap era. Fans of other idols he danced with had seen those reels. Thai actors did his challenge a lot. His promotion works on TT, on the internet, through virality (remember the case with "Zoo") and inside k-pop sphere. He has always caught people's eye by looks and moves alone.
Doyoung, on the other hand, is known to general public as a variety personality. His potential audience as a soloist, people who like ballads, Korean music, go to festivals and musicals, don't find new artists on tiktok. Melon top100 chart, YT programmes, TV programmes with live singing are what they tap into.
Do got a concert tour because he wants to sing as much as possible, to be in a band. Tae got a fanmeet tour because he wanted the love from the fans, the reassurance that they will stay before his dissapearence. (Plus, as I said before, he should have been busy with 127 preparations in March).
Doyoung came up with the way he wants to see his promotions unfold. Documentaries, medleys - his idea. He supervised it. He pushed for more.
Fans count numbers, but forget about contents. Taeyong's promo clips were very innovative, fun, effort was put in developing them. Wasn't his abduction video memorable? Despite very pressing circumstances, very short time to work, Tae's comeback was of high quality (photoshoots, the MV, stages, his 2 day concert was prepared better than Link).
Shooting singing Doyoung five times is not a big deal, it is easy to increase the number of uploaded promotional material. Heh, antis counted "medley clips" as content, when it is just a track playing over a circled on itself short video of nature (that you buy on stock sites).
Taeyong had two albums in the same year. Who gets two albums same year right away? Even Baekhyun didn't. And fans dare complain.
Tae had songs he wrote in thepast. However, those songs needed to be re-recorded and remastered. We've seen it in bts video. Either there was no time to record enough songs for a full album, or Tae's songs were lacking/didn't fit the overall sound of the album. Remember how DJJ re-recorded "Ordinary" a year later (we can sing better now), how "Can we go back" was re-arranged for the album (bless, the track was saved for me). Songs take time, SM works up to 6 months on one song.

Youâre so rightâDaniel being open to experiencesâŚalso not letting the potential embarrassment of not being perfect at something immediately (ie: all rbr promos especially the bellydancing vid, his photography) get in the way of trying, being open, enjoying the experience. How it makes it fun for the people around him too. Honestly such a valuable life skill. Wish that could be me!
Yes, yes, yes! Being able to dive into things like that is such an attractive quality. If you'll pardon me for taking this to a Maxiel place, the difference between him and Max in this area is also fascinating to me. Like, the guy who's so awed and thrilled by being invited to the Met Gala vs. the guy who owns like 3 shirts, lol. But as much as I think Max obviously admires Daniel's adventurousness, I think Daniel appreciates someone steady to come back to once all those adrenaline-inducing experiences get a little tiring.

People having been giving their WAD hot takes recently so I guess it's time for my 2 cents.
First of all, most places absolutely could not support the massive number of seats they had and I think if Dan had put out some of the dystopia daily stuff before they started picking venues he would have realised this. Absolutely all of that series (except for we are in a relationship and dnp finally tell the truth) are his least popular videos (and even those two are below such classics as That Charity Advert, STUPID HANDSHAKES, and PSA: stop emo shaming), and yes some of that will have to do with the fact that they haven't been up for as long, but his reach and cultural relevance is definitely shrinking.
I think the ideal thing would have been for him to do a small tour with the rainbows do not represent me material, then assess where there was demand for the bigger shows and do something on WAD's scale there. I also think that would have been way more fun for the audience. The best parts of WAD for me were the little bits of audience participation and I think that he could have really thrived in the smaller settings where you can really interact with the audience (and it costs less for him which means less cost for us and more people willing to go to it even if they haven't thought about him for years).
Also I feel like he really needs to take advantage of other yters in terms of promo. Literally the only time I find out about him doing the 'proper' bits of media are when they get shared around on here, but if he did like a wired autocomplete interview or like went on podcasts or whatever I think he would get a lot bigger reach (his vid with Anthony has more views than most of dystopia daily).
Tldr, I hope dan learns the right lessons from it and doesn't get even more caught up on his perfectionism. The best thing to hope for would him being more consistent at letting people know what he's doing and that he's alive but I know that's unrealistic. We'll see what the future holds ig

Keeping in mind that the â10 things you can live withoutâ vid is not something that serious and it should be taken as just a fun thing, I do think that the cartier watch was a little too much. You âcannot liveâ without a cartier watch, really? Like, câmon. It would had been different if he had just said âwatchâ, like any watch, for example, personally, I âcannotâ live without my smart watch (which is a xiomi one that cost me 50 bucks), because it tracks my heartbeat, my calories, my steps and all of that shit, but did he had to specify that it was Cartier? No. For all the comments that he has made over the last few months that relate to superficiality and shit like that, it came out very hypocritical imo. Im sure that it could also had been a promo by contract, but i think it was a bad call.
